Look here. I just had an epiphany lol
These two are basically the smartest in terms of booksmart, right. A doctor and a lawyer, those are the most sought after jobs in asian countries
And they're both very compassionate and understanding of other people. I'm not saying the other characters aren't; they are, I'm saying these two with their high end careers and their compassions are also the two people who hide the most of their problems
They are always so ready to help others; Dal with Haejun's and Juwon's problems, Sanha and his sister, and Haejun as well, but they're both not so good at voicing that they need help or that they're in pain
Something something about how some people can appear to have it all but they don't; not when they're struggling inside and are not good at asking for help
Sad reality aside, that's why they gotta be with the other two people who are basically sunshine and their anchors

4 warm people, they should have their happy endings together ☺️

Chemistry between actors was amazing, but the storyline tho... in KDrama
Kang Sora as Oh Hara and Jung Seungjo as Goo Eun Beom in Strangers Again: the story ruined everything
Tumblr media
Lee Jaewook as Baek Kyung and Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Dan Oh in Extraordinary You:only if Baek Kyung wasn't written as a red flag by the manhwa writer
Tumblr media
Jeon Doyeon as Gil Bok Soon and Koo Kyo hwan as Han Hee Seong in Kill Bok Soon: the storyline was good for a crime thriller but unfortunate for them
Tumblr media
Moon Sangmin as Lee Jihan and Jeon Jong Seo as Na Ah Jung in Wedding Impossible :they get happy ending but the storyline was messy imo
Tumblr media
Lee Jaewook as Han Tae Oh and Choi Hee Jin as Kang Hee Joo in The Impossible Heir : yall know why. Everything in this drama was messed up except the chemistry between these two actors
Tumblr media
Ki Do Hoon as Yangcha and Kim Ji Won as Tanya in Arthdal Chronicles: basically Kim Ji Won has chemistry with everyone she acts alongside
Tumblr media
Lee Jae In as Lee Yoon Seo and Cha Woo Min as Ko Kyung Jun in Night Has Come: honestly I didn't even consider them before I saw all those edits on YT
Tumblr media
Go Youn Jung as Jung Jisoo and Seo In Guk as Kim Seong Hyeop in Death's Game: even the smallest moments between them was enough to establish how beautiful chemistry they had
Tumblr media
Lee Dohyun as Go Chang Myung and IU as Jang Man Wol in Hotel Del Luna: one of the best pairings in a KDrama to exist

watching my demon feels a lot like watching doom at your service - the themes seem repeated with the addition of jeong gu won and do do hee’s cuddliness.
but watching welcome to samdalri feels a lot like watching hometown cha cha cha - it’s a similar setting, and we all know what’s going to happen, but they both feel like coming home.

What were they doing for eight years? This situation goes beyond just a lack of communication, putting Hyun-oh circumstances with the old ladies aside. Eun-ho and Hyun-oh were dating for about two years when her sister disappeared. Her disappearance was widely reported in the news, with search teams and a significant police presence. I understand that Korean laws prioritize privacy, but a young woman was missing, and her face must have been plastered everywhere.
The fact that she never confides in him, attempt to seek comfort or assistance (and telling him while he was drunk has no effect - except that nosy reporter being all up in her business) or that he didn’t notice any changes in her is baffling. Her grandmother also passed away some time after that, yet still, nothing. If the scene in episode 5, where he abruptly dropped her without any explanation, is indicative of their dynamic, it raises even more questions. Did he do this without reason constantly throughout their relationship , and why did she never question it? Why did he never elaborate? Or hell, if he or she did.. can this show please show us this.
Were they merely maintaining a facade of normalcy? Playing at the happy couple? The show has yet to demonstrate any reason for these characters, even after therapy, to be together. Or why they were even together in the first place. Yes, I know they "loved each other" but a relationship is more than just attraction. They never discuss their families or past experiences at all during those eight years? Their relationship feels very superficial. Very neither here nor there.
This isn’t some post to show how she would be better with Joo-yeon or anything like that since he has a connection with Hyeri, not Eun-ho, and the show has yet to establish anything between them as of yet. They have issues to be resolved individually as well. I just need some clarification - I need more than cutesy moments between them - I just want to understand someone please explain. We are all just as confused, right!? RIGHT!?

Idk if this is intended but like, once again i gotta comment on how this kinda fits with how Sanha and Dal both were more comfortable anticipating other people's needs than their own
Like, Dal doesn't get that validation from the person she needs it the most, her mum, that she's perfect just the way she is. The lawyer that her daughter is. The emphatetic, and kind her daughter is. And as a result Dal thinks she's just not enough.
Sanha doesn't talk about himself much, reassuring everyone, even his mother that he's alright even when he's not. Even when his shoulder hurts so much from the burn. Even when he also misses So Jung because he does, she was also his sister. Even tho he also missed his mother, the way she used to be motherly towards him when he was younger; he never said any of it.
Juwon noticed that. And despite all his assurances, she wondered.
Hae Jun notices it with Dal too. That she's a sweet, kind person and he wants to know more about her.
Ah well me and my child-of-trauma noticing brain lol

MY DEMON
GENRES: Supernatural, Romance
SUMMARY: A cold-hearted Demon remembers what it’s like to be human after falling in love with the one who stole his powers.
THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING: Supportive PR employees, diabolical chaebols, powerful skinship, sham marriages, best friend butlers, sword dancing, Joseon flashbacks, tattoos, cropped suit jackets, cakes, clocks, disguised deities, full moon transformations, and the joy of just letting go and listening to your heart.
HOT TAKE: I didn't really love the start of this show, but its themes of loss and love really pulled on my heartstrings throughout. I didn't really love the ending either, but hey, its a love story and you get what you get. I will say though, Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung win the award for 'Couple with the Smoothest Skin I've Ever Seen in a Kdrama.'

Cafe Minamdang. 7
Story: 8
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 6
Comparable to: From Now On, Showtime! (Kdrama); Sell Your Haunted House (kdrama)
A hilarious comedy thriller drama that unfortunately gets bogged down with unnecessary romance and bad editing. It definitely could have been a 10 episode series and it would’ve been a knock out series. Seo in Guk is phenomenal in this. He had just the right over the top humor and darkness to his character, while I absolutely love Oh Yeon Seo, the writing for her character was awful and didn’t fit right. For the romance I more so rooted for the secondary couple more. I guess I was hoping for more of a best buddy relationship for the main couple. Overall still would recommend to watch once if you love mystery comedies.
