My Commentary:

Like, some of the obvious POP culture references / in-jokes some of the other ‘outfits’ had aside, most of these outfits actually looked quite reasonable (and comfy, imo!! - which is pretty much the point I think Koushiro was going for?!??) and I could easily see Koushiro wearing some/most any of these canonically at various points of Koushiro’s tri. and post-tri. teen-aged lifetime, even just purely for fun. Heck, I’ve seen fan-artists (including on the J.P.N end and even in / using specifically their Tri-esque designs / outfits) draw Koushiro in MULTIPLE outfits like this!

Also, the kimono choice is, like, fine? Koushiro’s Japanes---?

Rumor has it that deep within the woods lies a pristine manor that housed an immortal creature, that which feasts on the blood of humans. Most people disregard this as a myth to scare the children, but some truly believe in the existence of such a wretched creature, and some know this legend to be nothing but a kindered spirit, with a lonely heart, waiting for a companion.

The path to the manor had been destroyed years ago, trees towering over you almost blocking out the sky, enveloping you in darkness, hearing nothing but your footsteps as you made your way up the broken path. There it stood, the mansion, its windows emitting a warm light, that made it feel inviting admist the eeire backdrop.

"Invite yourself in stranger," feeling a hand on your shoulder as you got pushed into the estate. In a blink of an eye, you'd be within the mansion, feeling the coat slip off of you. You turned around to see a tall gentleman with long blue hair and icy blue eyes that held unexpected warmth, his smile bearing fangs. "Welcome, dear guest. I've been waiting for you. "

zoro - tiger hybrid zoro is deceptively docile; he loves to nap and sun himself, and is—despite what he may claim—a cuddler at heart. his ideal afternoon is with you curled up on top of him in the warm afternoon sunlight, drifting in and out of sleep... but while he often maintains a calm demeanor, he has a vicious growl, and an even scarier bite. he’s well-attuned with his environment and his company, so, while he doesn’t jump to action unless he deems it absolutely necessary, his teeth and claws are always on standby. usually, a single, withering stare from him is enough to stop anyone in their tracks. despite his gruff, aloof appearance, he is unexpectedly possessive.

yuuji - another tiger hybrid, yuuji is quite playful and energetic. he’ll nap with you if you insist, but he’d much rather wrestle, go on a walk, or chat. one of his favorite hobbies is grooming you; if you don’t like it, you’re going to have to deal with it, because it’s his primary means of showing affection. you will have to set firm boundaries with him, though, otherwise he’ll keep his tongue on you at all times and rub your skin raw. he’ll paw at you and ask for permission before wrapping his tail around your leg and working his tongue over your skin. while this activity is by no means sexual, if he isn’t careful, it will almost certainly escalate.

labru - i haven’t settled on breeds (yet), but laios is a dog hybrid and kabru is a cat hybrid. the dog/cat dynamic almost perfectly encapsulates their relationship. i will say that kabru is very sociable for a cat, but he’s pragmatic and cunning in ways that a dog could never be. and while laios is loyal to a fault and a bit obtuse, he has keen senses, and is incredibly protective. despite being different types of hybrids and having different mating habits, they work so well together. in fact, they can be quite intimidating to other hybrids, and are especially intimidating to humans. they are a (mostly) united front, and are adept at getting whatever they want.

childe - childe is undoubtedly a fox hybrid. he’s sly, cunning, and intelligent—both a scavenger and a hunter. he’s smooth and charming and will try to convince you that he’s harmless and innocent (can’t you see his cute ears and fluffy tail?) but appearances are deceiving, and over time, he allows you to see more and more of his true nature. gift giving is one of his love languages, and he often leaves presents for you—be it a bouquet of flowers or a dead animal (don’t ask him if he found it that way or if he killed it himself; you’ll never get an answer). and—under no circumstances—should you ever tell him that you’ll do any activity of his choosing. he calls it “tag-cum-hide-and-seek,” but in actuality, it’s a chase through the forest. the winner gets to force the loser to do whatever they want. and what does childe want, you may ask? if the gleam of drool on his fangs and the bulge in his pants doesn’t give it away, let me say it straight: he wants you. on his knot, in the forest. good luck…

Hi, what are your favourite romance novels?

red, white and royal blue by casey mcquiston. obvious answer for me but i do find myself looking for what casey managed to achieve in rwrb in so many other novels. just the depth of alex and henry's love is actually rarely done so well. there are so many layers to their relationship that make you feel like it's so earned. masterclass, honesty.

a lady for a duke by alexis hall is like [swoons] THEEEEEE childhood best friends to lovers book to me now. i read it for the trans representation and just fell so in love with viola and gracewood, the depth of their love is just so absolutely breathtaking. i think this is the book that most affected me in recent memory. i want to hand this book out like a fucking bible. i feel tender just thinking about it. ough. just read it. trust me.

people we meet on vacation is emily's henry's most divisive book for some reason. people seem to either love it or hate it, but i absolutely adore it. i think enemies to lovers has gotten so popular that people sort of look down on best friends to lovers but the amount of yeaaarning in this book was phenomenal and i really recommend it to people since book lovers is way more popular. that said, i do enjoy all her books.

for a fun and silly time i really enjoyed my roomate is a vampire by jenna levine. it made me laugh a lot, and the relationship was so ridiculous but still believable to me which is not easy to do.

for fans of rwrb i do recommend the charm offensive by alison cochrun. it's got amazing amazing amazing mental illness representation as well as asexual rep on top of it being m/m (it does have sex scenes tho jsyk!)

it's a christmas book but in the event of love by courney kae has theeee best wlw sex i've read in a book. i know this isn't the main thing but sometimes wlw books aren't very... explicit? but this one eats and i was so pleasantly surprised to find that in such an otherwise "wholesome" book, ya know?

one deeply underrated book that stayed with me is unbreak me by michele hazen. it deals with a woman who was sexually assaulted and her finding love and learning to enjoy sex again so it is heavier than most other romance books, but it's so tender and warm and well written that i wish it had more readers. it's so hard to find that i unfortunately had to order it on amazon bc i couldn't get it at the bookstore i work at and nowhere else online, but if it sounds like smth you're interested in and can find a copy i rly loved it.

i also enjoy books by helen hoang, elena armas (controversial i know) and lyssa kay adams.

right now i'm reading late bloomer by mazey eddings and i'm soooo loving it. if she sticks the landing it might be a fav. we shall see.
