It definitely has its pros and cons but living in a city where pretty much every artist performs is definitely at the top of the pro list! And it’s kinda funny when T&K reference local things like this that I just so happened to be at too lol

Honestly it was such a good show 😭 I love Tina& Amy so much and have been fans of them for forever so it was everything I expected and more. I know they’re touring through next year and hopefully they keep adding more cities so you can see them too!

Also, seeing Orville irl was so funny because the hat and mask are his disguises but it actually just makes him stand out more so the whole YouTube theater saw him come in. He also sat down like right before the show started and everyone else was already seated so there was a hush over the crowd as everyone watched him. Idk I laughed. Also also my friend was seated a few rows behind him and he blocked the view with his giant cowboy hat so she took a picture and since I was seated a few rows in front you can see the back of my head… and that’s how I technically have a picture with Orville Peck lmao

‼️RANT ALERT RANT ALERT‼️

I don’t have much to add to the conversation around gender at the Olympics rn. What I do want to say it that, as a fat femme with pcos (a condition that causes afab people to have excess testosterone, among other things), I’ve had my fair share of self loathing caused by “not being feminine enough”. It’s incredibly hard to look in the mirror and see a body with traits our society has deemed masculine, and you can’t do much about it. I love being feminine. I love dresses that show off my skin, fat rolls and outgrown body hair and all. But, even when I wear my favorite outfits, I can never fully get rid of the voice in the back of my head saying “you aren’t feminine enough”.

I can’t even imagine what it’s like for poc and trans people who deal with the same things every single day. Racism, fatphobia, transphobia, misogyny, it’s all connected. And we can’t pretend that it’s not because that’s complete bullshit. Body positivity is for everybody.

TLDR: Trans rights forever, women of color deserve to feel comfortable in whatever way they present, Imane Khelif is doing amazing and I can’t wait to see her win gold, and shout to my fellow fat plus sized baddies. Y’all are hot as hell and don’t let stupid, hateful people tell you otherwise.

I genuinely can’t fathom how people who have never had a problem with food (restricting AND overeating because both are serious issues) view it. Like tf do you mean you get hungry after two hours? One of my siblings is onto me because I went like 6 hours without eating but like��that was because I wasn’t hungry???? On the flip side, I’ve noticed that I just keep fucking eating when everyone else has stopped. Free breadsticks at Olive Garden? I’ll eat them until they’re gone. Need something to do at a party? I’ll get seconds even though I’m not really hungry. I was never really an emotional eater aside from a few hatred-induced binges last semester at college, but I’m definitely a bored eater. Combine that with the fact that my parents don’t cook, so the occasional meals I had with my family all together were fast food/restaurant food, AND that all other nights, I was left to rummage with no supervision through the pantry to eat processed food in front of the TV/my phone for dinner, it’s a miracle I didn’t get fatter sooner.
