WHO IS SHE?

Mini-Royal Affairs 3: Lunch With The Enemy

     In front of an army, a cloaked figure with a strange necklace reminiscent of the Sapphire Crystal laughed maniacally. His attention focused on the two hologram figures between him and his forces.

     “I’m lord Dis-Erai,” The cloaked figure began. “The High Priest of the Cult of Chaos. Our order pays tribute to Chaos, the supreme being of disorder. We…

     SLURP!

     Dis-Erai stopped hsi speech and studied the holograms in front of him. The forms of King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity were sitting in chairs, holding bowls of ramen. As the Queen finished slurping up a strand of noodles she noticed Dss-Erai glaring at her which caused her to blush. 

     “My apologies,” Serenity insisted, putting her chopsticks down to wipe her mouth with her napkin. “You caught us during lunch. Please, continue.” 

     “I see,” Dis-Erai grumbled, clearing his throat. “It is the goal of our order to spread the word of Chaos throughout the known universe and seek vengeance against you, Neo-Queen the being who banished Chaos to the Galactic Caulton. We shall…” 

     “Endymion,” Serenity whined, presenting her husband her bowl. “There are carrots in my ramen.”  

     “You had carrots in it last time,” Endymion reminded her. “You said they weren’t that bad. I thought you finally developed a taste for them.” 

     “Carrots, blah, never,” Serenity grimaced, shaking her head. “THat was like a few carrots. THis is an entire side of them.” 

     “Fine,” Endymion shrugged, using his chopsticks to pick out the carrots. “I'll take them.” 

     “Do you mind?” Dis-Era roared, clenching his fists. “I am in the middle of my declaration of war.” 

     “Our apologies,” Endymion replied, eating some of the carrots. “Continue.” 

     “As I was saying,” Dis-Erai hissed. “We shall rain divine justice across your world in the name of the God of absolute destruction. Our vengeance will be swift and merciless. THe streets of your precious kingdom will run red with the blood of your citizens. You…”

     “Huh,” Endymion announced, staring down at his ramen. “Is it just me or does the pork taste different?” 

     “You know I wasn’t going to say anything because it tasted so good but it does,” Serenity commented, picking up a piece of pork, studying it, before putting it back in the bowl “Is it from our usual place?” 

     “Yes,” Endymion confirmed with a nod. “Usual place, usual order…minus the carrots. Sorry by the way. Guess they decided to try something new.” 

     “I guess,” Serenity agreed. 

     “The real question is do we ask for this pork or what they used previously,” Endymion pondered, rubbing his chin while still holding his chopsticks.  

     “Excuse me!” Dis-Erai screamed, stomping is foot. “I am declaring war on your plaet. Could you ave talking abour lunch until i finish?” 

     ‘Your right, your right,” Endymion agreed with a wave of his chopsticks. “You still ahve the floor.” 

     “Thank you,” Dis-Erai sighed, rubbing his temples in frustration. “Where was I?” 

     “The stress will run red with blood,” Serenity answered as she nippled on her narutomaki.

     “Right, right,” Dis-Erai nodded, straightening his hood. “As I was saying…you who defeated the mighty chaos will face the wrath of their followers. You will know true fear and will beg for mercy but will receive none. However I shall give you one chance. Current yourselves and we MAY choose to spear your planet.” 

     “Yeah…I think we’ll pass,” Serenity stated, bringing the bowl to her lips to drink the broth. 

     “What?” Dis-Era gasped. Did you not hear what I said? I have forces that…” 

     “Your forces are about to be defeated,” Endymion chuckled as he should the last of his ramen into his mouth. “We have a strike team descending on you as we speak.” 

     Dis-Erai’s jaw dropped as he struggled to speak. 

     “You see,” Endymion continued. “The whole time you have been talking to use we’ve been tracing the signal to triangulate your location.” 

     “SUPREME THUNDER!” 

     “WORLD SHAKING!” 

     “OH look, there they are now,” Endymion observed, seeing the fear in Dis-Erai’s face. “If I were you…I’d run.” 

     Dis-Erai followed the King’s advice, exiting the chamber, and leaving his forces alone to the mercy of the force from Crystal Tokyo and the holograms of the royal couple. 

     “Again,” Endymion began. “Sorry about the carrots.” 

     “It’s okay love,” Serenity smiled at your husband. “Just remember…the only carrot I like doesn’t fit in a ramen bowl.” 

     The King’s cheeks turned red as he caught the Queen’s meaning. He reached over, hit a button, and turned off the holographic message.

Spoiler Warning! For Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed

Okay... just beat Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, thoughts and reactions in no particular order-

1. What the FUCK was any of that actually supposed to mean?

2. What the hell was that final post-credit-scroll shot of the two planets and fusing into one and that blue spec of light coming towards the planet?

3. HOLY FUCKING BINGLE, THEY ACKNOWLEDGED X (Chapter 5′s cutscenes inside Origin- when Na’el was talking to Matthew, the radio in the background talked about the Earthlife Colonization Project, which is what created the White Whale, the ship that crashed on Mira, in X) IT’S THE SAME UNIVERSE, CONFIRMED, I WAS FUCKING *RIGHT*

4. So... Glimmer is the daughter of Rex and Pyra, right? We saw in the ending of XC3 proper that Pyra, Mythra, and Nia were all holding babies- does Glimmer have a sibling somewhere that we don’t know about? ...Is that why Matthew had an aegis crystal in his gauntlets...? Is he technically her... cousin? Is that how that would work? God why are the Pneuma girls so confusing XC2 what’s wrong with you

5. So... Nikol is the son of Shulk and Fiora, right?

6. So... Panacea is the daughter of Reyn and Sharla, right?

7. So... Linka is the daughter of Zeke and Pandoria, right? Why did they name their daughter after a type of honey?

8. Okay, what the fuck was A? Why is she named in the same format as the Moebius/Consuls? What the HELL is her deal? WHERE WAS HER CHARACTERIZATION

9. Did... Did Shulk, Rex, and A become the new Trinity Processor? Are Rex and Shulk like. The new Logos and Pneuma? Because A is Ontos. Is that the intended implication there? Because that’s DEFINITELY how I read it

10. So. Rex and Shulk like. Barely mentioned that they know/knew Nia and Melia. The Queens weren’t even in Future Redeemed. In fact, none of the other party members from 1 and 2 were ever mentioned by name- just acknowledged in passing dialogue. I said this about 3 proper and I’ll say it about Future Redeemed, too- that’s extremely fucking disappointing.

11. HOLY SHIT RIKU IS RIKI’S SON? RIKU IS KINO AND NENE’S BROTHER?

12. Why was Manana not acknowledged in Future Redeemed? And why did N show up but not M? WHY IS THE AGNIAN CAST SO NEGLECTED THIS IS DRIVING ME MAD

13. This one’s just me being ridiculous and dumb because I think it’s funny but I’m still kind of mad we didn’t get an Elma post-credits. ESPECIALLY NOW THAT X HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED LIKE COME ON. They could’ve even given us KOS-MOS or T-ELOS but they didn’t! Fucking cowards.

14. So... Fogbeasts got kind of explained, finally? But why were they in Bionis’ Shoulder? And why did we never see them in Alrest? I’m very confused by this.

15. Most egregious of all- NO TYREA AGAIN. Which singlehandedly makes this trash. Justice for Tyrea. The only way this can be redeemed is if Eunie is canonically Tyrea’s daughter. There was a guy in Future Connected who had a crush on Tyrea so just fucking send it Monolith

TL;DR- Too short. Not enough of... well, not enough game, really. XC3 proper only having 7 chapters wasn’t enough for it but that honestly would’ve probably been about the perfect length for Future Redeemed, but. Alas. I can’t say I was disappointed, really, but I also don’t know that it met my expectations... much like XC3 proper, I’m very conflicted about this.

if i had to pick a solid number one ever, i'd probably say trixie mattel even though that's a basic af answer. i just watch her content the most, plus i listen to her music super frequently; in general she's the queen whose content i interact with the most and i love her.

my second favorite (a very close second, almost tied) is katya. again yeah a basic answer but its also a GOOD ANSWER. i started learning russian originally because of her, and like trixie i watch tons of videos she's in and listen to her music, just slightly less than trixie cause theres less to consume. love her vibes. whats wrong with her (lovingly). i wanna study her

easy number three placement is gottmik. inspired my dream to become a drag queen because i finally saw a queen on rpdr who was like me (transmasc) and i truly think she's had some of the MOST incredible runway looks in history, especially after her run on as9. she was robbed as fuck by the way, fuck the producers for setting up the season like that it was rigged. rigga morris. justice for mik and plastique. gottmik deserved to win season 13 (i love symone too dont get me wrong) and she ABSOLUTELY deserved to win as9. those fucking runways? not even top 3?? i'm going to kill myself in front of rupaul to permanently alter the trajectory of his life.

as for other like honorable mentions, all my answers are again very obvious because my favorites are the fan favorites but i love laganja estranja, adore delano, gigi goode, crystal methyd, bob the drag queen, peppermint, + more. oh and sasha colby. everyone loves sasha colby. i think my least obvious fav is ivy winters (s5) or max malanaphy (s7)
