He even put more salt in the wound when he was gloated at the fact she couldn't use Silver Crystal to transform becasue the Black Crystal was nerfing it out.

Since he felt like the Silver Crystal power was doing the wrong thing by prolonging people lives and halting the natural life cycle for a while.

But it absolutely ironic the fact he wants them in order to destroy the world.
