I really admire whoever watched the scene where the wicked witch of the west teases the scarecrow and then sets him on fire and thought. “Yeah. They were fuckin”
#wicked musical spoilers#never finished the book and apparently it’s ambiguous whether the scarecrow is actually fiyero#so someone in the production of the musical took that implication#and said yeah. yeah yeah yeah she fucked that straw man#lea talks#just watched wizard of oz after watching wicked last night

Happy Halloween 🎃
Series Masterlist | Masterlist
Rafe x Maybank Reader
Summary: time jump from the original story. Vivienne is now 4 fully understanding the importance of Trick or Treating now. You and Rafe bring her around the neighborhood and couldn’t be more proud to watch her go around and get candy.
A/N: Drabble based on my series A Lot of Time has Passed.
Warnings: allusions to sex (nothing graphic, Rafe is just a flirt) pure fluff between reader and Rafe, JJ the funnest uncle there ever was.
Vivienne bounces on her bed as you lay out her costume. Ever since Sarah and Kie introduced her to The Wizard of Oz, she’s been enchanted by witches, insisting on being one for Halloween. Unfortunately, she’s allergic to most costume paints, even the high-end ones you tried. So she’s no Wicked Witch of the West tonight, but she is the cutest pumpkin witch you’ve ever seen.
The last time she was this obsessed with something, it was sea turtles when she was just one, and everything around her became ocean-themed. Now that witches are her new passion, all the decor and toys have shifted, and Rafe has been more than happy to make that happen.
After dressing her up, you hand over her broom. Before you can fully take in how adorable she looks, she’s already “flying” out of her room, calling for Rafe. “Daddy! Look! Where are you? Look, Daddy!”
With her on a mission, you take a quick moment to head to your room and change. You slip into a simple black corset dress with sheer lace sleeves and a thigh-high slit, topping it off with a tall black witch hat. Flat black boots complete the look for a night of walking.
Downstairs, you hear Rafe and Vivienne playing. “Are you trying to wear her out already? She hasn’t even gotten a single piece of candy yet,” you tease, smiling as you spot them on the floor, with Vivienne practicing her magic spells on him.
Rafe looks up without taking his eyes off you. “V, can you believe how beautiful Mommy looks?” She looks over, beaming. “Mommy’s very ‘butiful!’” Rafe stands, walking over to get a closer look at you, his hand brushing along your neck as he pulls you in for a kiss.
“And where’s your costume?” you ask, grinning. He grabs a matching witch hat from the couch and settles it on his head. True to his style, he’s gone with a simple black button-down and slacks, letting the hat be the finishing touch. Despite the simplicity, he looks perfect.
“V, ready to get so much candy?” you say, turning to her. She jumps onto the bench near the door, holding her broom in one hand and her candy bucket in the other. “YESSSSS!” Rafe laughs, scooping her up as you head outside.
Vivienne walks between the two of you, her tiny hands in yours as she eagerly asks to be picked up and “flown” like a witch. You’re almost to the street when JJ sneaks up from behind, letting out an exaggerated evil laugh as he tickles your sides. You jump, letting out a shriek. “JJ, what the fuck?!”
“Happy Halloween, sis, and Happy Halloween to the prettiest witch in all the land,” he says, grinning as he bows before Vivienne in his butler costume. “Uncle J! You listened!” she shouts, running to him. He picks her up, spinning her around until she’s giggling.
At the first house, Rafe kneels beside Vivienne. “You remember what to say?” he asks, his voice gentle.
“Yes, Daddy, I know!”
“Smart girl. Now go get us the best candy to share.” She bolts toward the door, pulling JJ along, waiting behind a few kids in line. With her in safe hands, you and Rafe hang back, enjoying a quiet moment.
He leans into you, his arms around your waist, his hand brushing gentle circles across your ass. “You might be the sexiest witch I’ve ever seen,” he whispers in your ear, “and you’re keeping this on way past trick-or-treating.”
“Rafe, every kid from Figure Eight is around us, control yourself,” you say, trying to sound stern but failing, laughter spilling out as you bury your face in his neck, sneaking a few kisses.
Vivienne runs back, her face lit up, proudly showing you her haul—three full-size candy bars and a small stuffed black cat. It’s like they knew exactly what she’d love. They must’ve know a witches best friend is a black cat.
For the next hour, you explore the neighborhood, Vivienne’s candy bucket growing heavier until Rafe finally calls it. “Alright, how about we head back? You did so well, but Daddy’s arm is starting to hurt from carrying this bucket!”
Vivienne looks up, her big blue eyes meeting his. “But I’m not ready!” she pouts.
Rafe kneels, a habit that always melts your heart, making it clear how much he respects and loves her. It’s a subtle but perfect gesture. “How about one more house on the way home? Then we’ll sit on the floor, and you can show me everything you got. And you can smack Uncle J’s hand every time he tries to steal some.”
She lights up, giggling at the thought. Anytime Rafe mentions them spending time together, her face beams.
“And if Mommy’s up for it,” he adds, “maybe she can make some popcorn, and we can watch The Wizard of Oz with half a candy bar before bed.” He leans close, whispering, “And you can even sleep in your witch costume, so you can dream about flying on your broomstick.” She gasps at the suggestion.
“Yes! Let’s go now!” she squeals, leaping into his arms. He grins at you, your eyes a little misty from the beautiful sight of your two people, he reaches over to take your hand as he holds her close.
After stopping at one last house, you all make your way home. Inside, Rafe makes a move to take off his witch hat, but Vivienne quickly protests. “No, Daddy! The hat stays on all night!”
“Alright, alright,” he laughs, putting it back on as you head to the kitchen. You pop some popcorn and set up a small tray with water and bowls, adding some festive cobwebs and plastic spiders for the Halloween spirit.
Back in the living room, you find JJ and Rafe sorting through candy with Vivienne. Over the years, they’ve learned to tolerate each other for your sake, something that makes you deeply grateful. You set the tray on the coffee table and pull up The Wizard of Oz—it’s practically impossible to miss, being first in the watch history for the past 4 months.
As they pack up the candy, JJ attempts to sneak a Kit Kat into his pocket. Vivienne catches him instantly. “Hey, Uncle J!”
He throws his hands up, pleading dramatically. “Please, your greatness, may your loyal—and very fun—servant uncle have a candy bar to take home? Pretty please?”
“She’s three, JJ,” Rafe says, laughing.
“She’s also serious about her business.” JJ grins. Vivienne considers, then nods. “Sure, Uncle JJ. But I want you to take me to see Aunt Kie tomorrow.”
JJ shakes her hand with mock formality. “Deal, kiddo.” Settling into the fluffy lounge couch to your right.
V snuggles between you and Rafe, popcorn in hand, while you turn off the lamps and start the movie. Rafe’s arm wraps around you, and you both spend the movie stealing glances at each other, the connection between you still feeling as special as it did at the beginning. “I love you,” Rafe mouths to you across the couch.
“I love you more,” you mouth back, smiling.
The two of you are still locked in each other’s gaze when you’re snapped back into reality when you hear JJ snoring. You don’t think either of you watched a second of the movie.
JJ’s curled up in the chair, and Vivienne is fast asleep, sprawled out between you. Rafe gently lifts her, carrying her over to the chair with JJ, who instinctively pulls her close in his sleep.
“You’re not bringing her to her room?” you whisper, surprised.
“Nah, JJ’s got her. I’m taking you upstairs to see what magical spells you can work on me.” You squeal, covering your mouth as Rafe swoops you over his shoulder.
He carries you to your room, closing the door behind him. It’s the perfect ending to Halloween night.

Musical questions! 28, 29, 30?
[To celebrate 400 followers I'm finally answering all these from my drafts :D]
28. What's a musical that you saw ages ago that you're still not over? What about it made you love it so much?
If watching a video counts as "seeing": Tanz der Vampire. I saw posters and ads on the street for the Helsinki 2016 production... but that was after it was already over, in April/May!!!!! I was so curious about it but forgot after the initial wondering. Then that summer I went to a two-week language camp/course in the UK (my first time abroad without parents!) where we were singing Total Eclipse in the music room and an older "camp counsellor" girl from Germany told us it's actually from a musical, and that night I took it as my sign to look it up and ended up watching sooo many clips on YouTube over and over for the rest of my time at that course, and eventually the whole 2005 proshot with English subs.
Something about it spoke to me in a way no other musical had before - I mean, I had liked POTO for years, that summer I also started listening to Hamilton, but neither of those rattled in my head to the same obsessive degree as TdV did <3
It came into my life at a special time, has come and gone since, and whenever I get back to it, it still hits the hardest out of any show I've ever watched. Whether it be the epic orchestral rock score (I'm not like an über Steinman fan but I like his stuff), the level of emotion (some would say melodrama <3) and the way the show itself has come to symbolise a lot of things to me over the years (freedom to leave an environment you're not happy in and remaking your life elsewhere; freedom to be yourself and go after what you want even if it goes against what's conventional or societally acceptable; the world belonging "to the shameless and the wicked" and the rest of us just having to roll with it). So yeah >:)
I've now seen TdV live three times: once in Stuttgart in autumn 2021, and twice in Hamburg this summer (2024). It wasn't perfect but it meant a lot :') I've also met Aris Sas and he liked my headcanons and hot takes, and wished me the best in my life and my studies 😭🙏
29. What's a musical that you used to really like but don't anymore? What made you fall out of love with it?
I think I'm falling out of love with Wicked!! It was one of the first shows I saw live (back in Finland) and that production left a lasting impression on me, but after seeing it in London twice (heheh) I think I'm satiated :') I will still want to see the movie though! I probably just won't have the energy to engage that much with the hot takes it will probably spawn kslsls. Plus I hate the discourse that the movie is stirring up about how the book is better and that should've been a movie instead dkkdldls. I think the book is kind of terrible and takes itself too seriously. Plus the sex scenes are bad bad bad bad....
Anyway - still like the musical, I think I have just overlistened to it and I don't usually find too much to "chew on" in the fandom space :D Especially since I don't know/care about Wizard of Oz lore 😭
30. What's a musical that's grown on you since you first saw it or listened to it? What made you appreciate it more?
Rudolf: Affaire Mayerling.......... I still think it's terrible but I keep making friends with people who know that it's inaccurate (and don't really care about defending its honor skkskd) and still love it for being camp 😭 I used to have a very negative view of it but now I can just listen to Du bleibst bei mir on repeat, enjoy wholeheartedly and pretend it's the whole show 😌 obligatory mention that I met and took a pic with Wietske at the Les Mis München stagedoor this year 😭😭😭😭🙏🙏

not a yearly roundup! just a tuesdaypost!
the yearly roundup coming soon!
listening: playing some podcast catch-up, also did some KONGOS, thanks beloved mutual celestialtourguide. Odysseus by Brian Keane was also linked in a server I'm in and I like it.
reading: there was exactly one day in which I and a bunch of my friends all overlapped in the same place so we were able to convene at beloved mutual celestialtourguide's apartment on this past Saturday! in there I noticed the volumes of "Witch Hat Atelier" on the shelf and WHILE SITTING THERE HANGING OUT I zoomed through the first two volumes. I borrowed 3 and 4 and read them that night. I have since read through volume 9. I am forcing myself to stop reading for today and will space out the last three available volumes in the next few days because it is more fun than just binging even though it's sooo easy to binge, especially a manga. I love you libby I love you my public libraries, all the volumes were available with no waits. apparently there is a new volume in January and an anime coming out sometime next year so I'm now very excited for that.
some really really good characters in here. I haven't checked yet but I will be SO disappointed if people aren't smashing Qifrey and Olruggio together like dolls. listen there is just something so . something. about one wiping the other's memory like that. has it happened before? who knows. it's fine. it's so good. the tassel swap. augh. and not to bring the cnovel shizunfucking into it but beldaruit and qifrey too huh. anyways. I didn't know it was still in progress when I started reading so now I'm really excited to have a series to keep up with!
Contemplation of a Decaying Corpse: The Japanese Art of Kusôzu: content warning for graphic corpse decay. it is a little funny to me as described as "feeling horny? go look at a rotting corpse, you won't be horny any more"
Thread: What do Ancient Greek myths tell us about the Greek view of Omegas? (ghostwriterofthemachine, loosingletters): REALLY fun. love a little omegaverse metafiction. formatting probably looks best on desktop.
watching: watched most of the single Chanukah hallmark movie. fun to watch in a 'laughing at weird hallmark choices' kind of way.
Getting My Life Together for the New Year (Morgan Evelyn Cook): her again! she has a lot of Youtuber Vibes (idk if that means anything but whatever). good background noise.
why does wicked look like that? (Mina Le): color grading discourse! fun little history recap of the wizard of oz and film grading in general! she does pronounce "Fiyero" as "Fero" a few times and it made my brain go friends at the table mode lol
youtube
youtube
playing: fallow
making: working on the fingerless gloves! these will be a birthday gift for my mom instead of a holiday gift lol but I had other stuff for her so it's fine.
eating: made this pineapple bread to use up some crushed pineapple leftover from a kugel! I pressed in some pomegranate seeds into the top as well. it came out tasty but it was a bit of a harrowing bake - there was a point where the edges were cooked but the center was still raw?? which was scary. it took an extra FORTY minutes (!!!!) from what was prescribed in the recipe to cook in the center and thankfully it didn't burn the edges. it was a little dry because of that but still tasty! made it for a Chanukah hangout with some friends, have had some delicious latkes in the past week, all is well :-)
also made the overnight oats ratio from this reddit post, it was good but I feel like the oxidation of the banana made an impact on the taste after a day or two. still edible, just hmm.
misc: posting this on a Monday night and will be writing up my yearly roundup tomorrow on the last Tuesday and last Day, Period of 2024!!!!

Welcome back to the Land Of Oz! A Wicked 1X1 search canon x oc. 18+ only please.
Hello there! 25 year old female here, a few of you will recognise me from other previous posts. But today I’m looking for something different, a little Wicked. After having watched part one of the Wicked movie last night I’m craving something with in the Wicked time line.
I have several different ideas that could work, but before I get into that here is some important information. I am looking for people who are over the age of 18+ to write with. I am also looking for oc x canon pairings with me as the female oc and you as the male canon, however I can double and do separate universes etc! I’m also perfectly happy to explore fxf pairings as well. But my oc and her pairing will be mxf.
I’m advanced literate and I do use third person and past tense, I’d love it if prospective partners can use the same. I’ve just downloaded the book and I have seen the musical adaption as well. So if you do dm I’d love it if we can gush about plot and ideas, so please have a good understanding of the realm of Oz. For my oc today I am looking for a Fiyero or even a dark take on the Wizard- I have some ideas I could share that would make for an interesting love triangle. I can work with Boq as well but I do understand he’s not everyone’s favourite!
My oc does slightly change the verse and while romance is key I do want to explore some of the darker themes as well. Though this will mainly be clean. I have got ideas that will shake things up a little so please be prepared to explore au ideas and scenarios. I do also love to write on discord where possible (my user is eleanorewinchester ) so in your dm please tell me where you fell in love with the Oz verse, and who you can play most importantly. I am primarily looking for a Fiyero but I do have ideas for other pairings too. Please also send either a 🩷 or a 💚, to prove you read this. Thank you!

Hi! I hope you had a very nice Christmas! How was it? Mine was good and I liked all of my gifts, which was mostly some new clothes, pajamas and Wicked and Taylor stuff. What did you get? Did you get anything cool? For me, it was just a few things but that's fine. Haha I definitely think of weeks starting on Mondays. Aww it's so cool your friend is coming! Will you guys do anything fun while she is here? It's nice that you will able to spend time with her for a while when they are here! I'm happy for you.
Taylor deserves a long break so I totally get it. I'm pretty excited for rep TV but I really don't mind waiting. Haha you can always wait until rep TV is announced and then have some time to listen to all of her albums leading up to it, if you don't get to it now. That's what I usually do..the week it's supposed to be out, I spend my time listening to her albums, but now I usually just pick a few lol. Like for TTPD, I thought it was going to be more like Red, since it was a breakup album, mixed with maybe rep, and Folklore. I also listened to Lover, which was her and Joe, and Evermore, and Midnights since that was the newest obviously lol. But for when rep gets announced, I'll probably just relisten to all the rerecordings, but not rep until the night it comes out. So that's what I do, and you still have time to. I'm pretty sure it's going to be rep at this point, but before, I did think she might save it for last and it might still be a possibility. But the 20 year debut anniversary is next year already..thats crazy, and I think maybe she could wait until then, just to make it more special..idk. What do you think? I really don't mind either way though! I would be just as excited for debut.
Ahh wow I didn't think you would read it that fast! I did see and was excited for you but I didn't think you would already be done lol. It's fine that you're waiting a little bit for the movie, and it gives me a chance to read it before then and give you my thoughts. So what did you think? Did you enjoy it? Who is your favorite character? What was your favorite part..in the book like an actual scene or just about the story in general? Mine is definitely Ponyboy and my favorite part is his friendship with Johnny since it reminds me of my sister and me. I also relate to the whole being outsider thing in general but I wasn't sure if you would. Since I don't think you knew everything, what surprised you? Was it pretty much what you were expecting? Did you love it or just like it? Did the age range play a part..do you think you would like it more if you read it when you were younger? I think I read it at the right age when I was 13 and that's why I love it so much. Do you have any other thoughts or predictions about the musical after reading it? What scene do you wonder about or want to see on stage? I remember thinking how would they do the fire and the hair change..which I think are mostly successful. I'm also a bit worried I may have given some spoilers or just over hyped it and especially with the musical..but I'm so glad you liked the story at least! I also don't know how much you knew about it in general, like the vibes but I hope some stuff I said makes sense now haha. I'm excited for you to see the movie as well, which is also good in it's own way. Do you think you will watch the musical after seeing the movie or wait more..I just want to know what you think lol.
Oh that's good to know about the Wicked book and audiobook. I'm actually surprised you thought that it wasn't that bad considering I read a few things about it. I agree about being curious about how it was adapted since the book seems pretty long but they also had some of the Wizard of Oz stuff to pull from too. I just read that the added song in Part 2 is another song for Elphaba, and Cynthia helped write it so I'm wondering where it could be..since No Good Deed already exists. What do you think? I think maybe she is trying to push her chances more for an EGOT in case she doesn't win an Oscar for her acting, but if it fits and makes sense, then it could be good.
I totally see what you mean with the Back to the Future musical criticisms, and how it just seems like a big, more of a spectacle musical with the special effects. So the theme park thing makes sense to me, especially since it seems like a musical for people who don't love musicals, and more fun and like you're on a ride..like you said, which made me laugh! Thanks for the warning about the loudness and the lights so I know what to expect, in case I go. Do you think it would still be worth it to go if I get rush tickets? That and me not knowing much about it..like the songs, would be a reason, but it's also only here for a short time so I don't know yet. The songs not being the best doesn't exactly surprise me though. I read your thoughts out loud to my sister and asked what she thought, and she laughed and said it seemed interesting so we will see. I hope it was still worth it to go, and at least they did a good job adapting it from the movie.
What have you been listening to now? It's just been Christmas music, like Laufey, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson. I'm hoping I can try to watch the Sabrina Christmas special soon, maybe by New Year's Day or for New Years Eve? What are you doing new years Eve? So throughout the year, my sister and I have a playlist that we update throughout the year and listen to it on shuffle at the end of the year to the first few weeks in the year, so I'll probably be playing that. It has a lot of songs, and we usually turn it into a drinking guessing game on new years lol and we pick our top 10 albums and songs of the whole year, so I always look forward to that. I also have to try to think of lyrics that are like new years resolutions for the new year. If you have any, let me know! I have a few in mind but still have to think so I will tell you once you respond. the only resolution I have so far is to read more books..two a month, one book I own and one I don't. I said that for the past two years though so maybe I need to try to keep better track. I usually put them in pairs, so it will help, but I don't think I finished a whole single book this year so maybe we will see. I think I will start with Outsiders and work on it since you've already read it, and hopefully that gives me a good start or motivation. Anyway I hope you have a good rest of the year and a fun new years Eve and day since I probably won't reply until the new year. Sending hope and good wishes for the new year too! 🩷
hello my friend! happy new year! i hope this year is kind to you and filled with all things good; good health, good reads, good foods, good music, good adventures, everything! my christmas was lovely — very cozy and chill, but very lovely! i think the best thing i got was my friend visiting (she's still here, just out exploring seattle while i'm working right now!)! i am a very sentimental person — some favorite gifts of mine this year were (in no particular order): deep heat (which my best friend brought me from australia since we can't get any here & one of my other friends also sourced some online for me), crafting supplies (one of my friends hole punched letters for me for crafting, one of them collected stickers/supplies for a while), a friend got me the special edition the notebook playbills — and a bunch of supplies for my many sicknesses (throat coat, advil, tylenol cold & flu, excedrin, shower stems, etc) which was so thoughtful (throughout the last few months they've asked me what i want from santa and i said a healthy immune system so i thought this was very thoughtful and fun). i also got some clothes from my mom! one of my friends got toto a kraken hockey toy which i thought was really fun and sweet too (i always get her cats, toto's cousins, some christmas gifts and she always gets toto a little something too).
my best friend & i have been doing the touristy seattle stuff mostly! but also she's been doing some exploring without me while i've been at work! luckily her trip overlaps with a homestand here for the kraken, so we're going to a bunch of games and then we've got california next week! should be very, very fun!
i actually did the whole discography relisten in two days last week! crammed it in and my schedule looked a little crazy but it all worked out! oh i didn't even think about 20 years of debut, that's sooooo. wow. time is really just passing, huh! i really am so so excited for debut and those vault tracks — i'd love a second album of vaults but i know that won't happen haha.
okay with the outsiders.... i think my best friend and i may watch the bootleg (or try to) while she's here — so either before california or after (not that we have a lot of time together left post-california), so i'll post about it and send you a bat signal if we do that! and then jamie and i are going to watch the movie sometime so i guess i will be doing that out of order, but that's okay! i think darry and sodapop were probably my favorites but obviously i also quite liked ponyboy! i think i would've liked it more if i was younger, but i did like it! and you're totally fine with spoilers haha, some of my friends are frequent visitors to the bernard b. jacobs and i see a lot of their posts/stories/etc. about the outsiders musical!
i'm really intrigued about the new song. i've been seeing some tweets of the wicked deleted scenes and it feels like they deleted ... a lot of scenes that would've really elevated the glinda/elphaba dynamic and add more depth to it so i'm ... kind of sad. and it feels like if it wasn't for ariana and cynthia's love for the stage show, a lot of the heart of the musical wouldn't have been there? so that's ... interesting. am a bit worried for part 2. but am intrigued either way!
i think if you got rush tickets it's totally worth going! i'm always in favor of going to see a show if you can make things work! and i think by then you'll have the new george mcfly? which could be fun to see! hi to your sister :)
i'm actually trying to do 365 albums in 365 (loosely) but at the very least a new album a week or something. we'll see how this goes. i'm hoping to get through some of your recs from last year at least! i watched the sabrina special when i came back from eras! i knew there was something i hadn't talked to you about and was meaning to! i thought it was just so fun! i hope you enjoy it when you get to it!
new year's eve was very uneventful for me and mary (my best friend) — we had a hockey game the night before and came home pretty tired + i worked on the 31st/she went touristing (went down to the waterfront, etc.) and then for new year's we had lunch with my uncle and then mostly just hung out! it was really lovely and cozy! tonight we're going to another hockey game so we needed the rest! i hope you enjoy your reread of the outsiders! i have a few goals myself for the new year (and ways to track it) but don't think i will have time to sit down and read until maybe california? when i'm on the plane? who knows!
hope your new year is off to a good start already! 🤍 sending love!

Summary: After a long day at work you come back home and join Shane and Willa in the blanket fort they’ve built in the living room.
Shane Walsh x F!Reader // Rating: G // WC: 1,362
Links: Part 1 // Read at AO3
Part 2: There’s No Place Like Home
Today's been one of those days you wished you were home instead of here…
You’re used to long shifts at the hospital, sure, it didn't take you long to adapt because you knew what you were signing for when you got your degree. But on tougher days, you have to remind yourself that's what brought you to Shane.
You moved to King County after getting a job as a radiographer at the Harrison Memorial, and a few weeks later a kneecap fracture had him come into your workplace. Thanks to one of those endless shifts, you were the one operating the X-ray machine that day. After that, every time he came into the hospital, he made sure to bump into you. It was actually pretty blatant that he had a crush on you by the sixth or seventh time he ‘casually’ showed up in that part of the building. He was practically healed by then but he never asked you out though. He later said he was building the courage to do so, but in reality he was still half dating someone else at the time and wasn't up for being a two-timer asshole.
If seeing you was all that he could have, he’d take it.
It was you, ultimately, the one who took that step. Outside of the hospital, you saw him one day at the café and invited him to join you at your table.
That was just the beginning of your story– you fell madly in love, got married as soon as you could, and had a baby girl about two years into your relationship. You lucked out for once, though it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows of course, you had a few bumps in the road that didn't keep you from going further. No. You built a pretty solid relationship despite the comments of a couple of gossips at work that had you doubting Shane at the beginning. You’re glad you didn’t pay much attention to that. That speck of concern didn't stop you from following your gut and fortunately, you were right.
It’s been seven years since you met him, and you couldn't be more grateful. There’s nothing you’d miss more than not having Willa and Shane by your side. You can’t even imagine how your life would be without them. They’re your whole world.
And after one of those long, tired days, that was only exacerbated thanks to the huge migraine you had during most part of it– there’s nothing like coming home to them.
You take off your shoes, slip out your coat, and hide in the cozy blanket fort Shane and Willa have built in the middle of the living room.
They're both laying down over a pile of blankets and pillows when you crawl through the entrance.
Willas’s already dressed in her pj’s, her hair is still wet from her bath, and she lies snuggled on Shane's side, head resting on his shoulder.
He's reading her The Wonderful Wizard of Oz from where they left off the previous night. You usually read a chapter or two every night because she's fascinated by it. All of it. She first watched the movie a couple of months ago and now that's all she can think of. Last week, on Halloween, you all dressed up as characters from the story. Willa was adorable as Dorothy, Shane was a very handsome Scarecrow, and you went out as The Wicked Witch of the West, because why not.
“Hi, mommy,” she thrills at seeing you, interrupting Shane's reading.
“Hi, baby. You having fun?”
She nods as you tuck yourself on Shane's other side.
“You alright, mama?” Shane loops his arm under your head, inviting you to take his other shoulder.
“Yeah, just tired,” you slide a palm across his chest and hold Willa's hand.
He kisses your head and resumes the book, repeating the last line he read to get back into the story.
You always marvel at the effort he puts into making voices for all the characters. Having seen the movie a bunch of times already, he has no problem taking inspiration from that. It makes you and Willa burst out laughing every five seconds. Her favorite is when he does The Cowardly Lion, yours however is when he tries to sound like Judy Garland.
“So they found a cozy place under the trees where they slept well until the morning; and Dorothy dreamed of the Emerald City, and of the good Wizard Oz, who would soon send her back to her own home again.”
He finishes narrating, places the bookmark at the end of the chapter, and closes the book. “Okay, that's it for today, Dorothy. Time for bed.”
“Nooo. One more, please?” she stares at him making that annoyingly adorable face that's always impossible saying not to.
“Yes, one more, daddy,” you squeeze his arm lightly, and he huffs amused.
“Alright, anything for my girls.”
He opens the book again and continues reading a few more pages. The sound of his voice lulls you, and your eyes start slowly closing at some point amidst the poppy field chapter. You try really hard to stay awake, forcing your eyes open, but fail in the process.
When Shane finishes the chapter, you’re totally out and he carefully removes his arm from under your head, replacing it with a pillow instead. He lets Willa wish you goodnight softly and kiss your face before having daddy pick her up in his arms and carry her to her bed.
“Daddy?” she utters with her little voice, already tucked under the covers, hugging her favorite stuffed animal.
“Yeah?”
“Don't close the door.”
“I won't, baby. Don't worry,” he leans and presses his lips to her hair, “good night, baby.”
“Night, daddy.”
As easy as it seems, he knows she'll sneak out in about five to ten minutes and will have to repeat the process again cause she's been having trouble sleeping on her own lately, which was never a problem until a few weeks ago that she had her first nightmare, at least the first one that she could remember.
Shane turns the light off, leaves the door ajar and goes back to the fort to lay beside you. His fingers trace your jaw, awakening you ever so carefully from your slumber.
“Hey, sweetheart, let’s get you to bed too,” he’s an inch from your face when you open your eyes to his voice.
“Willa?”
“Probably still awake.”
“Hm, I don’t wanna get up,” you tuck your arms closer to your chest.
“So I’ve gathered,” Shane smiles softly, and kisses your nose, “you want me to carry you too?”
“No, I just need a minute.”
“That tired, huh?”
“Yeah.”
He keeps stroking your face and neck tenderly with love printed on his fingertips.
You sigh and move your face closer to press a kiss on the corner of his sweet, curved up mouth that softens at the touch of your kiss, parting slightly to fit his lips against yours.
Kissing without urgency, you take comfort on his warm lips for a minute before noticing the short shadow of your daughter suddenly moving behind one of the sheets.
You pull your head back and nod at Shane in her direction.
“Willa?” You finally sit up and wait to see her peek at the entrance, smirking at the both of you.
“Yes, mommy?”
“What are you still doing up, missy?”
“I wanna sleep in here too.”
“Nobody's sleeping here, baby. We were just going to bed. Maybe another day when you don't have school in the morning, okay?”
“Okay.”
You finally stand up after that little moment of rest and it's you now trying to get her to bed for a second time. You can tell she's just as tired as she’s restless about having to fall asleep, still scared about those demons haunting her dreams.
A smile plays at Shane’s lips, standing right outside her door, hearing you singing to her softly to chase those bad dreams away. You make sure she's comfortable and well wrapped, and cuddle with her for a few minutes to soothe her worries until she falls asleep.

Spooky Halloween headcannons for the face family
-Francis loves making caramel apples every Halloween while Arthur makes popcorn balls
-At first Alfred and Matthew used to dress up as pair things (like salt and pepper) but overtime they got their own interests and dressed up as different things
-after trick or treating, they put the candy in a big bowl which Arthur says it will last them till next year’s Halloween (which it probably never does)
-they had one family costume one year and they did The Wizard of Oz (Arthur being the wicked witch of the west, Francis being Dorothy, Matthew being Toto, and Alfred being a flying monkey) (this is inspired by my own family doing a family costume before my brother was born, I was Dorothy, Mom was the wicked witch of the west, and Dad was the scarecrow)
-Francis always throws a Halloween party the day before Halloween
-Matthew doesn’t like haunted houses and hates it when Alfred drags him into them, he also hates the scary stuff in the Halloween store and would rather have Francis make his costume then go in the store and pick one out
-if the boys can’t find a certain costume, Francis makes the costume
-when it comes time to get ready to go out trick or treating, Arthur takes care of the makeup (if there’s any needed) and Francis helps the boys get their costumes on
Oooh nice! Here’s some of mine:
- See I actually see Francis taking care of the makeup and Arthur doing the costumes (though Francis would probably help since I do see them both being good at sewing and making clothes)
- I like to think they did a lot of family costumes when the boys are young and Arthur is surprised by how much he enjoyed it
- When you mentioned the haunted house it made me think of something when maybe the boys are teenagers. Matthew, over his fear of Haunted Houses but still not caring for them is dragged along by Alfred and Alfred, though he tries to be brave ends up screaming and hiding behind Matt
- First time Alfred watches a horror movie is when he’s like 10 or so and on the eve of Halloween (Matthew taps out knowing he doesn’t do good with these things). Let’s just say he doesn’t sleep well that night and crawls into Francis and Arthur’s bed.
- Arthur really likes Halloween so he always goes all out with decorations
And yeah...these are the first that come to mind!

Elphaba let out a shaky breath as she covered Fiyero with a thick blanket, her eyes filled with tears. The spell had worked — Fiyero was human again.
The downside? Neither one of them had anticipated the pain that it caused him. Fiyero had screamed and writhed for an hour, Elphaba murmuring the same words over and over again, until finally he changed back to a human and immediately passed out. Maybe it was his exhaustion overtaking him, she didn’t know.
What she did know was that he hadn’t slept well since he became a scarecrow. And now that he was human again, she kept watch over him, just to ensure it wasn’t something temporary and they’d have to start all over again in their search for a spell to remedy what she’d caused in her desperation to save him.
“It’s fine, Fae,” he’d told her shortly after they had moved to the Vinkus. They had been promised solitude and Fiyero’s parents — who were two of the sweetest people Elphaba had ever met — had promised that no one would know their whereabouts.
“I don’t mind being a scarecrow. And I wouldn’t have minded if it had ended the other way.”
She always noticed how he avoided saying that he very well could have died. Fiyero was smart; he knew how to word things and get his point across without actually saying what he meant. And so, when an uncomfortable subject arose, Fiyero tried to take control of the situation and always managed to change the subject within five minutes.
Elphaba gazed down at him, a single tear falling onto her emerald skin as she pulled her fingers through his light brown hair. She had missed this. She had missed the sweet moments — playing with his hair, having him play with her hair, teasing him over his rosy cheeks when he’d been out in the cold too long, or having him grasp her hand and hold her close when she needed him to.
And while Elphaba was grateful the spell had worked and kept him alive, she had missed Fiyero being human. After all, they had reunited after being apart for two years, had ran off into the woods together, only to be separated again merely hours later. Elphaba had never been so grateful for her magic as she was in the moment she discovered that her spell had worked and Fiyero had been saved.
Fiyero had been a lot calmer than she’d expected about the entire ordeal, had even laughed when she told him that she would eventually find a way to turn him back. He’d waved it off, promising that it didn’t bother him much.
“Fae?” Fiyero croaked, turning his head toward her, his eyes barely opened, showing slivers of his blue irises.
“Yero,” she smiled softly, caressing his cheek. “How do you feel?”
“I think I’ve been hit by a cart. No, maybe it was a train. Train car. I was hit by a train car.”
Elphaba couldn’t help herself — she laughed. Fiyero, who was slightly more conscious than he had been a second ago, stared at her in bewilderment.
“I’m sorry, love, I’m sorry,” she chuckled. “You haven’t been hit by a cart, or a train, or a train car. It worked, Yero. It worked!”
Fiyero slowly lifted his left hand, his eyes widening when he realized that it was indeed a human hand. He sat up, throwing the blanket off and scrambling toward the mirror. He hesitantly brought a hand up, touching his face, letting out a breath as he gazed at his reflection — his human reflection — for the first time in months.
“Sweet Oz.”
Fiyero spun on his heel to face Elphaba, his eyes filled with disbelief and joy as he crossed the room, bending down and kissing her sweetly.
“I missed that,” he whispered as he pulled away, earning a breathless chuckle from her.
“So did I.”
“So… this is going to sound strange—“
“Everything you say sounds strange, Yero. What makes this any different?” she teased, earning an unamused look.
“I don’t remember what happened. Would you like to fill me in on that or are you going to keep it to yourself?”
“Well… we started it and it caused you a lot of pain. I’m pretty sure you screamed until you became human again — which took about an hour, by the way — and you’ve been sleeping ever since then.”
“Oh,” Fiyero blinked. “I… don’t remember any of that.”
“Maybe it’s best that you don’t.”
“Maybe…” he agreed softly, wiping the stray tear from her face. “How long was I out?”
“Just a couple of hours. I think you need to get back in bed. The adrenaline won’t last forever, and Oz knows what will happen when you have an adrenaline crash. You haven’t been human for months, Fiyero, please—“
“What are you so scared of?”
Elphaba stared at him for a moment, her dark eyes gazing into his blue ones. Eyes that sparkled with joy and concern, the two emotions somehow mixing and making Fiyero’s eyes shine brightly.
“I’m not entirely sure if it’s worked yet,” she admitted, hanging her head. “For all I know, it could be temporary and we have to start over again.”
“Is that all?” Fiyero sat down beside her, letting her lean her head against his shoulder. “Oz, Fae, you had me worried it was something serious. I don’t give a twig if we didn’t find the right one — I’m human now and that’s what matters. If it’s not right, well, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. But for now, let’s enjoy this, hm?”
A comfortable silence befell them, Fiyero combing his fingers through Elphaba’s raven curls and allowing his fingertips to brush against the back of her neck. The silence lasted for all of forty-five seconds before Fiyero began to giggle with glee, putting Elphaba in mind of a small child.
“I can feel again, Fae!” He smiled brightly at her, shifting slightly. Elphaba lifted her head, allowing him to caress her face, then grasp both of her hands. “I… it feels amazing to be able to feel things again.”
“I’m glad,” Elphaba mumbled, observing him. She was certain that she’d never seen him look so overjoyed. “And I’m sorry. For everything.”
“What? For the scarecrow thing? I’ve told you before, Elphaba, I don’t mind that I ended up being a living scarecrow. You saved my life.”
“Not just that,” she shook her head. “I never meant to bewitch you. Or whatever I did. And I never intended for you to come with me when you and the other guards came in. I didn’t intend for you to think about the day in the clearing with the lion cub before I left for the Emerald City. There were a lot of things that happened that I didn’t want to happen, things that I didn’t intend to happen.”
“You didn’t bewitch me,” Fiyero rolled his eyes. “And I am fully aware that you never meant for any of the other things to happen. Those are on me, not you. Of course, if you’d been mad at me when you got mad at the rest of the class, we probably wouldn’t have had the day in the clearing, and we — well, I wouldn’t have realized that I love you.”
“You didn’t realize that until after I didn’t come back,” Elphaba reminded him.
“That’s beside the point.”
“It’s literally the only point, Fiyero.”
“Whatever,” Fiyero waved it off. “Come lie down with me. I want to hold you.”
Elphaba sighed and nodded, unable to deny him his request. How could she when he was glowing with the elation he felt? Fiyero was happy that he could feel again, so of course, one of his first thoughts is to hold her like he did every night.
Lying beside him, Elphaba turned onto her side, tucking her face into the crook of his neck. Fiyero wrapped his arms around her tightly and buried his nose in her hair.
“I missed this.”
“You still held me,” Elphaba countered, waiting to see what his response would be.
“But I couldn’t feel it. I couldn’t feel anything when I was a scarecrow. I like being able to play with your hair or rub your back. And I like being able to kiss you whenever I want to.”
Elphaba tilted her head upward, gazing up at him. Oz, she loved him. She loved Fiyero more than anything. And Fiyero loved her.
“For what it’s worth, I never believed you were wicked,” Fiyero spoke up, startling her out of her thoughts.
“Is that so?” She quirked a brow in amusement.
“Yes. I knew better than to believe the lies that the Wizard and Morrible told about you. Everyone else, on the other hand…” Fiyero shook his head. “I — I wanted to go looking for you after you disappeared. Glinda had come back and told me what happened, and I wanted to go find you. But somehow, she convinced me not to, and I stayed at Shiz.”
“You didn’t need to come searching for me. That would have put you in danger, just like this has put you in danger. You almost died because of me, Fiyero.”
“I would have done it in a heartbeat.”
Elphaba exhaled shakily, wrapping her arms around him. She had known that Fiyero was willing to risk his own life for her, and the thought terrified her. What if they ended up in a situation like that again and she couldn’t save him with a spell?
“Sweet Oz, Fae, I can hear you thinking,” he groaned, pressing a chaste kiss to her temple. “Stop thinking and try to rest. We both need sleep.”
“Oh, alright.”
The next morning, after he bathed, Fiyero had stumbled outside, making a startled noise as he tripped over his own feet and crashed onto the ground. He blinked, staring up at the sky for a moment before he burst into laughter.
Hearing the hysterical laughter, Elphaba made her way to the door of their home, smiling fondly when she saw her boyfriend sprawled on the ground, clutching his sides as he laughed. She leaned against the doorway, folding her arms over her chest while she watched him laugh, knowing that he was perfectly fine.
“What are you doing, Yero?” Elphaba queried, the smile still present. He turned his head toward her and started to laugh again.
“I fell,” he informed her.
“I can see that.”
“Do you know how long it’s been since I’ve been able to feel when I hit the ground?”
“A while.”
“Yeah,” he breathed, turning his head back. I love being able to feel again. And I like being human. It’s a little easier to walk this way.”
“Well, you’re not going to go anywhere by staying on the ground, Yero.”
Fiyero snorted, glancing at her before he sat up.
“Oh, leave me alone.”
“Never.”
She approached him, stretching out her hand. Fiyero took it, allowing her to pull him to his feet.
“Thanks, Fae.” Fiyero pressed their foreheads together, sighing happily. “Oz, I missed all of this.”
“Yero, we were together one day before—“
“That doesn’t matter,” he interrupted. “What matters is that we’re together. And that I love you. I love you, Elphaba Thropp. I love everything about you.”
“And I you.”
Fiyero captured her lips in a tender kiss, one hand cupping her cheek while the other wrapped around her waist. Elphaba placed her hands on his biceps, slowly bringing them up to his face.
When they broke apart, Fiyero wore a boyish grin. Elphaba couldn’t stop the giggle that escaped her upon seeing his face, pressing another kiss to his cheek.
Fiyero gazed at her, brushing a single strand of her raven hair out of her face.
“You know,” he murmured, his fingers twisting the strand of hair, “I think I could get used to living like this.”
“Like what? Being a fugitive?” Elphaba asked dryly.
“We’re not fugitives,” Fiyero rolled his eyes. “We’re just… wanted by the Wizard for doing what’s right.”
“We’re still fugitives, Yero.”
“Whatever. Anyway, that’s not what I meant.”
“Then what did you mean?” She tilted her head slightly.
“I mean, I could get used to this. Us being together and being able to… I don’t know, make a life together or something. Stop looking at me like that, you know I’m not good with words.”
“You are excellent with words,” she laughed. “You just didn’t think that through very well.”
Fiyero laughed quietly, pulling her into an embrace.
“And besides, Fiyero, we’re living in the forest near your parents’ castle for a reason. It’s called necessity.”
“Oh my Oz, you’re impossible,” he huffed petulantly, burying his face in her hair. And of course, Elphaba began to laugh. It had been a while since she’d managed to make him pout, but when she did manage it, she loved it.
“You’re cute when you pout.”
“I’m not pouting!”
Elphaba hummed. She pulled out of the embrace and started to walk back toward the cottage, glancing back at him.
“What? Someone has to do the cooking, and it’s not going to be you.”

Midsummer Misery
As silly as ‘Wicked’ is, Ruixiong can’t help but think about Giovanni’s telling of Josep’s life story...
youtube
GLINDA
(spoken) Are people born Wicked? Or do they have Wickedness thrust upon them? After all, she had a father. She had a mother, as so many do
"Oh, God, we're going straight for the sobstory background, are we?"
FATHER How I hate to go and leave you lonely
MOTHER That's alright - it's only just one night
FATHER But know that you're here in my heart While I'm out of your sight
Guy couldn't help but smirk as he watches the Mother wipe her face from the Father's kiss on her cheek. "Let me guess. The Wicked Witch is the result of an affair, isn't she?"
GLINDA
(spoken) And like every family - they had their secrets
“Yeeep. Called it."
"Secrets...."
"???"
LOVER
Have another drink, my dark-eyed beauty I've got one more night left, here in town So have another drink of green elixir And we'll have ourselves a little mixer Have another swallow, little lady, And follow me down
Rashid sits back, amused by the choreography implicating an illicit affair without being explicit on stage. "Ooooh, scandalous," he remarks sarcastically.
Ruixiong turns his head to Rashid. "....Scandalous?"
"Well, look at how fancy they're dressed. I think they're trying to say the Wicked Witch is the result of an affair among nobility or some powerful figurehead. If somehow this play focuses on the intrigue of being a bastard child or whatnot in a highly political landscape, maybe I'd pay more attention to it than a 'Wizard of Oz: The High School Years'."
"That's-.... definitely-"
GLINDA
(spoken) And of course, from the moment she was born, she was - well - different
“Oh my fucking G-d, they’re doing an actual birth scene.”
MIDWIFE It's coming
FATHER Now?
MIDWIFE The baby's coming
FATHER And how!
MIDWIFE AND FATHER I see a nose I see a curl It's a healthy, perfect, Lovely, little -
FATHER (spoken) Sweet Oz!
MOTHER (spoken) What is it? What's wrong?
MIDWIFE How can it be?
FATHER What does it mean?
MIDWIFE It's atrocious
FATHER It's obscene!
"I saw this on a clip before, watch this."
MIDWIFE AND FATHER Like a froggy, ferny cabbage The baby is unnaturally
ALL Green!
The Crew barring Ruixiong burst into laughter at the obviously plastic green baby doll.
"They're really going with this as the source of the Witch's evil? That she was bullied all her life for being fucking green?"
"And I thought the reasoning for the Wicked Witch becoming evil and green in 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' was really stupid."
".................................."
"Ruixiong? What is it? Don't tell me you're really engrossed in the musical as it is, are you?"
"I-...."
FATHER (spoken) Take it away.
"......................."
FATHER (spoken) Take it away.
"..........................."
GLINDA
(spoken) So you see - it couldn't have been easy!
ALL
No one mourns the Wicked! Now at last, she's dead and gone! Now at last, there's joy throughout the land And Goodness knows We know what Goodness is Goodness knows The Wicked die alone
GLINDA
She died alone
ALL
Woe to those Who spurn what Goodness They are shown No one mourns the Wicked
GLINDA Good news!
CROWD No one mourns the Wicked!
GLINDA Good news!
ALL No one mourns the Wicked! Wicked! Wicked!
".....THAT’S IT!! I think I figured it out!! I think I figured out Josep’s secret over Giovanni and why he acts the way he does with him every summer!!"

February 1, 2021: Dirty Dancing (1987)
There are two people to credit for the beginning of this month. The first is my girlfriend, who asked that I represent her with this GIF.
Thank you, dear. Anyway, this is one of her favorite romance films, and she’s also not a big romance movie person. She was shocked that I hadn’t seen it, and that’s because of the second person to credit here: my Mom.
That is my Mom in the late ‘80s with her Pomeranian, Pugsley. Yup. This is just the GODDAMN SURFACE of my Mom, who’s quirky as shit. Love her for it, though. But, OK, why is my Mom involved here? Because this is also one of her favorite films. My Dad’s, too, but I’ll talk more about him in April.
However, if you read the Romance February introduction from yesterday, you might be wondering something. If my Mom’s taste in romance movies was so prevalent in my early life, how in the hell have I never seen this movie, one of her favorites? Especially considering the fact that, TMI here, but I WAS BORN TO THE FILM’S SOUNDTRACK. YES. REALLY. HOW HAVE I ESCAPED THIS MOVIE?
Yup. No clue. Shall we remedy that? SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
Recap
It’s 1963 in the Catskills, where Frances “Baby” Houseman (Jennifer Grey), a politically conscious young woman on her way into the Peace Corps, is going on vacation with her parents, Jake and Majorie Houseman (Jerry Orbach and Kelly Bishop), and her sister, Lisa (Jane Brucker). The owner, Max Kellerman (Jack Weston), who’s a friend of the Housemans, welcomes them to the resort.
Later that night, Max is briefing the young male waiters and entertainment, all of whom are hired from Ivy League universities. Well...except for the intriguing young dance instructor in the sunglasses. THAT...would be Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze).
I wanna just say before I forget, I miss Patrick Swayze. He’s awesome, and he left far too soon.
The next night, during dinner, Max introduces Baby to his grandson, Neil (Lonny Price), who’s just graduated from Cornell’s Hotel Management school. A school which, for the record, is the best hotel school in the USA, and second or third in the world. Also, hotelies (that’s what we called them) are CRAZY. They’re an interesting...bunch...
I, uh... I went to CornellMOVING ON
As Neil awkwardly hits on Baby, everybody encourages them having a relationship, despite her CLEARLY not wanting any of this. She instead watches Johnny skillfully mambo with another girl on center floor. After being roped into a magic act by Neil, and given a chicken by Stan (Wayne Knight, which I’m a fan of), she leaves, annoyed and irritated.
On her way back, she sees Johnny’s cousin, Billy (Neal Jones) struggling with a few GIGANTIC watermelons. She offers to help him, and he brings her to a secret house party, where some dancing’s happening. Some...dirty dancing.
Interesting side note here: racial integration! In 1963, remember, so that’s interesting. I mean, if anybody’s a fan of that, it’s gonna be me. At the party, Johnny arrives with Penny Johnson (Cynthia Rhodes), his dance partner from the mambo floor. Johnny sees her there, and questions her presence, to which she makes an adorably awkward comment. And then...they do a dance of their own.
The next day, Lisa makes a love connection with one of the waiters, and asks Baby to cover for her. Baby also speaks to Penny, who doesn’t come from the best background. That night, Pennys missing, and Neil gives Cornell students just the WORST goddamn name as he very awkwardly hits on Baby. He takes her to the kitchen, and that’s where Baby sees Penny.
Yeah, Penny’s not OK. Baby goes to Billy and Johnny, who go to get her. Turns out Penny’s pregnant, but Johnny’s not the father. They’re obviously quite close, although they aren’t romantically tangled. Baby, coming from a place of much higher privilege, doesn’t quite understand how difficult this is. Penny berates her for this, and it’s revealed that the father is Robbie Gould (Max Cantor), one of the waiters, who’s also the guy that’s been hanging around Lisa.
Baby confronts him the following day, where he states that “Some people count, some people don’t.” He also offers her a copy of The Fountainhead, a well-known book for complete and utter douchenozzles. She warns him to stay away from her sister, then goes to ask her father for money for the abortion. Which, by the way, was very illegal in 1963. She gets the money from her dad, who gives it without asking many questions.
However, there’s an issue; Johnny and Penny have to dance on the only night she can get the abortion. And there’s nobody to replace her...except maybe Baby? Johnny’s entirely against it, they end up convincing him, for Penny’s sake. And now, we get a hallmark of ‘80s cinema: the training montage.
This is a pretty good time to note three things. One, Jennifer Grey is the daughter of Joel Grey, one of the GREATEST actor/dancers ever to grace Hollywood and Broadway. Dude was one of the main characters in Cabaret, for which he won an Oscar, and originated the role of the Wizard of Oz in Wicked. So, yeah, she’s got dancing blood. Secondly, Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey apparently HATED each other. Yeah, kind of a bummer. But their chemistry was SO GODDAMN POWERFUL, that they were able to push through their feelings and do this as well as they are. And third...THIS SOUNDTRACK BOPS.
youtube
I get it. I GET IT.
Something else I get, too. The chemistry between Grey and Swayze really does sizzle, GODDAMN. Over the course of the montage, they clearly get closer emotionally...and physically. And yeah, it’s definitely there. Although, given the fact that they’re from different class backgrounds, it’s probably gonna be one of those stories. Well, OK. Let’s do it.
After a little too much time practicing, the two take a break. And yet, while on a nature excursion, they continue their training in different environments. Most iconically, they practice lifts in the lake.
Yeah...yeah, I get it.
The day approaches, and Baby and Penny have a bit of a heart-to-heart. Penny asks Lisa to cover for her (and I’m betting that she won’t, LIKE AN ASSHOLE), and she heads to the dance gig. It mostly goes OK, but the lift is aborted at the last second. However, the performance is still received well. They leave JUST before an elderly couple from the resort sees them.
Johnny gives her a pep-talk, telling her that she did well, and the music on the car radio hints at their growing mutual attraction. But once they get there, tragedy’s struck. Turns out that the abortion doctor was a dangerous quack, and Penny’s now dangerous injured, in pain and possibly dying. Panicking, Baby does THE RIGHT THING, I can’t stress that enough, THE RIGHT GODDAMN THING, and gets her doctor father.
Understandably upset (and yeah, it is understandable, all things considered), Dr. Houseman forbids Baby from seeing Johnny or any of the others ever again. This situation...sucks. Damn. And Baby agrees, as she sneaks off to see Johnny anyway. She apologizes to Johnny for how her father treated her, but Johnny blames his own social status for it, rather than her father.
Their conversation becomes very real, and eventually turns into Baby declaring her love for Johnny. As a song comes on the radio, she asks him to dance with her. Giving in to his own feelings, he agrees. And together they engage in some...Dirty Dancing.
As the two dirty dance horizontally, the night turns to day. That morning, things are definitely awkward between Baby and her father, who almost takes his family away that night. But, his wife and Lisa convince him to stay. He even comes back to visit Penny, checking in to make sure she’s alright, which Baby finds out once she does the same.
Things are also a little awkward between Baby and Johnny, interestingly. Wonder how last night ended. Well, Penny figures it out, and warns Johnny about the risks off getting involved with the upper class. Which, remember, is how she ended up this way. The two have a tense-but-intimate exchange. Which just preludes this IMMEDIATELY happening.
Yeah, that’s not a surprise. Well, more heart-to-heart proceeds, and they continue to learn about each other’s lives. That night, Lisa tells Baby that she wants to go all the way with Robbie. Despite Baby’s warnings, Lisa simply tells her off, and is generally, I’ll be honest, a bitch. The next morning, though, Baby and Johnny have another dance session. And it’s THAT session. You know the one.
youtube
Neil interrupts, and proceeds to give a bad name to Cornellians everywhere (I’m not like that putz, I SWEAR), and pisses off Johnny in the process. She asks why he didn’t stand up for himself, and then immediately hides Johnny from her father, who’s walking with Robbie and Lisa. Rightfully calling her a hypocrite, he storms off.
And then they immediately resolve it. Which, GODDAMN, do I appreciate. Robbie strolls by, makes a typical crass comment about Baby, and then Johnny BEATS THE EVER-LOVING SHIT OUT OF HIM
OH FUCK YES. And if that wasn’t enough catharsis, Lisa catches Robbie with one of the high society wives from earlier, as they sleep together in a cabin. OH. YES. THAT’S SOME GOOOOOOOOOOOOD SHIT.
Baby and Johnny, in the actual good and fully-developed relationship of this movie, spend the night together. And are seen the next morning by the high society wife, who had the hots for Johnny.
The wife, Vivian (Miranda Garrison), implicates Johnny in stealing a wallet. Johnny’s about to be fired, and then BABY ADMITS THAT THEY WERE TOGETHER IN FRONT OF HER FATHER HOLY FUCK
She did it. She actually did it. Goddamn. And then, AND THEN, she TELLS HER FATHER OFF AND CALLS HER OUT FOR HIS ELITISM HOLY FUCKING SHIT I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS MOVIE. And then, Jerry Orbach fuckin’ starts tearing up, and I AM SHOOK MOTHERFUCKER
And yet, even though the wallets were actually stolen by an elderly couple that Baby actually implicated, Johnny gets fired anyway. GODDAMN. After Baby completely loses heart, Johnny confronts her father, and learns that he believes that he was the one who got Penny pregnant. Johnny semi-tells him off, then walks away.
At his car, Johnny and Baby say goodbye with a kiss, and Johnny heads off forever. I mean, probably not, there’s a good 16 minutes left, and we haven’t gotten to the most iconic scene of the film yet. But anyway, Baby mourns her lost relationship, and her sister actually bonds with her over this whole thing. Hot damn.
I want to punch Neil in the goddamn face. Mostly just because he’s on screen, but also because he LITERALLY ruins the goddamn anthem of Cornell University, by setting the anthem for the resort against its melody. Goddamn you, Neil. GODDAMN YOU. Also, fuck Robbie, because he LITERALLY OUTS HIMSELF to Dr. Houseman as Penny’s former deadbeat partner. As the anthem continues (to my rage), who shows up but Johnny, who comes to stick up for Baby and all she’s done.
He brings her up on stage, and interrupts the anthem (THANK YOU CHRIST) to perform the last dance of the season, as he always does. Despite Dr. Houseman’s would-be objections (prevented by his wife, who has moved up on my list of favorite characters), the two are left alone on stage. And that...is when the song plays. YOU KNOW THE GODDAMN SONG
youtube
Y’know, it’s funny, because this song is definitely an ‘80s song, making this whole sequence pretty goddamn anachronistic, but WHO CARES!? It’s one of the most iconic sequences in film history, especially of the era, and I love the hell out of it. The crowd cheers, the rest of the kids join in, the lift happens, father and daughter make up, everybody dances, I dance with my girlfriend, I LOVE IT! They kiss, they dance and the film fades to black.
Dirty Dancing! See you in the Review! Oh, I’m changing the name of that section, by the way. Alongside a few more things. You’ll see.

Previous Part | Supernatural Rewrite Masterlist
There were two things you were absolutely certain of; your head was killing you from the second time of being thrown around tonight against your will. And there was no way in hell you were letting some wicked witch control the boys like they were her flying monkeys. You stumbled back up to your feet and grabbed your gun for a precautionary measure if things went south faster than you could handle. You took pride in yourself being a good hunter. But even you knew this fight was rigged against your favor. The brothers had a significant amount of strength and height compared to you if you were to go up against both of them at the same time.
Charlie was still pinned against the broken window with Dean keeping her in place and Dorothy was on the ground, Sam looming over her after he punched the woman when she was distracted and unable to dodge the attack. It was three against two. The odds made it an unfair fight—for the boys, that was. Neither one of the boys knew what was about to hit them.
“Don’t worry,” Dean reassured the red head about the similar demise that was waiting for the both of you. “You and your friend will join Dorothy right after you watch her die.”
“Sorry. I really don’t think that’s gonna happen.” You grew a smirk when you caught the attention of Sam and Dean, distracting them momentarily from the two women in their grasp. “I’ve dealt with enough crazy for a lifetime, but I draw the line at a wicked witch possessing my boyfriend. Flying monkeys are a bit of an overkill, don’t you think?”
Charlie took the opportunity to do the unthinkable to her best friend in order to get away from him while under the spell of the witch before she could get hurt. She swung her leg up and kicked him in the privates, hard enough to make you wince from how painful it looked. Dean went sinking down to the ground as Charlie escaped and distanced herself from the man. Dorothy took her chance as Sam was focused on the both of you managing to escape from them. She grabbed a long pipe that was leaning against the wall and whacked the younger Winchester right in the face, causing him to stumble to the ground as well, letting her push herself up to her feet.
Dorothy didn’t think for a second when she threw the other ruby red slipper she had been holding over to Charlie, who caught it with ease. “Go! We’ll buy you some time.”
“Be careful!” Charlie shouted before she went running for the staircase before either one of the boys could try and go after her. Right now they were more concerned about the two other women who were about to kick their asses. Your smirk widened as you placed your fists up, egging them on even further to make the first move.
You had been in your fair share of physical fights during your time of hunting, too many to keep track of. You were taught by the very people you were going up against. And went up against monsters with equal or more strength than you had. It didn’t stop you from giving it your all, letting you come out as the victor most of the time. You didn’t think you had personally gone up against one of the boys in a fit of rage that turned physical. Most of the time it was you who had to break up the brawl that broke up between the boys. Now it was your turn to have a little fun.
You had to admit you’d been off your game ever since you stopped doing the trials. Dean had been doing his best to sideline you. It was your chance to redeem yourself and prove that you weren’t weak anymore. You could handle this all on your own.
You managed to shake off every punch Dean landed your way when you couldn’t dodge them. He wasn’t going down without a proper fight. And so were you. You threw a few punches here and there, taking him down from doing anything stupid. You showed no signs of stopping anytime soon when you laughed. “Oh, buddy. I can do—”
You found yourself regretting the words you were about to mock the witch with when Dean roughly grabbed you by the throat and shoved you into the nearest wall. You clawed at his skin in some kind of attempt to break free, but he proved himself more powerful under the woman’s spell. “My body might not be able to kill, Dorothy. But theirs can. And you will be next.” The witch taunted you back, chuckling darkly as you struggled to try and shake off Dean’s tight grip. “You’re weak. No match for me.”
You found yourself suddenly seeing red at her words. It was a trigger of some sort you didn’t realize you had buried deep inside of you until this very moment when they were spoken out loud. You swing your fist straight up into Dean’s stomach, knocking the air right out of his lungs and making him drop his grip from your neck. You kicked your leg and shoved him backwards with your foot, giving yourself some distance between the both of you. You felt your breathing turning into heavier pants from the anger that was coming over you and planning on lashing out at him.
“I am not weak.” You seethed at the witch. You found her words cutting you deeper when they were coming from the man you loved. “You have no idea who the hell you’re going up against, you bitch. If it’s a fight you want, it’s a fight you’re gonna get!”
Without thinking, you drew back your arm and got ready to give it your all this time, not caring about the physical pain Dean would deal with later on. You’d help ice his wounds and apologize when the time came. You were dead set on letting out your frustrations, not not taking into consideration Charlie broke the spell. You didn’t see the flash of emerald in the boys’ eyes and their deathly expressions change into confused ones. You only realized when you were left with a throbbing fist and hearing Dean’s infamous three words you knew could only come from him.
“Son of a bitch!” You heard him grunt out.
You furrowed your brow in absolute confusion from the reaction you weren’t expecting to come out of his mouth. “Dean?”
“What the hell just happened?” Sam asked. He looked between you and Dorothy, inspecting the bruises and bloodied up faces, wondering how you managed to get those wounds. The younger man was quick to figure out the answer when he realized he was holding the demon knife.
If the spell was broken and the boys were back to their normal selves, it meant Charlie had killed the witch. You and Dorothy shared a glance, mumbling the young woman’s name, half out of happiness at how she managed to save the day. And in fear if she was all right. The four of you headed to the front area of the bunker, cautiously making sure there were no flying monkeys or the wicked witch to stop you if she was somehow still alive by chance. Only you shouldn’t have doubted the red head. You stopped in your tracks when you caught sight of her leaning over the balcony that overlooked the ground floor. She waved the key and smirked at her victory. The woman managed to do it all by herself.
“Ding dong, bitches.”
+ + +
Everything was back to the way it rightfully was. The wicked witch was dead. You didn’t need to drop a house on her or throw a bucket of water to kill the bitch. A pair of ruby red slippers was the key to ending it all. Dorothy had the key back to Oz and Charlie got another chance to live out her fantasy of a hunt filled with magic and quests, even if it only lasted for the night. Not to mention the discovery Dean made about the bunker he never knew that right was under his nose. A garage stocked with different sorts of tools at his disposal to fix up the Impala and several classic cars to gawk over. What he was most excited of all was to have Baby near him. You crossed your arms over your chest and smiled in delight at how she looked in here, she fit in perfectly. Like it was meant to be.
“Baby looks good in here, doesn’t she?” Dean marveled at the sight of the Impala. You chuckled at how he was acting and shook your head. “Hey, how come you never told Sam and me about this place?”
“I don’t know. It sort of slipped my mind.” You said, shrugging your shoulders at the proper answer. “And I wanted to keep it a little secret. Just in case you both try to put me in the corner again when it comes to a hunt. Gotta make sure I have a good escape.”
Dean rolled his eyes at your excuse making you laugh once again. You looked over to see Sam and Charlie making their way up the staircase to join the rest of you after she got everything packed up and Crowley was back in lockdown. The redhead nodded for the older Winchester to follow her to the other side of the garage to have a private conversation away from the group. Sam headed over with something in his hands, a book he figured Dorothy might want back.
“Dorothy. I found something in the archives. Pretty sure it belongs to you.” Sam held up a first edition novel of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the very first book her father had written about her. She couldn’t help the smile that spread across her lips at the novel as she reached for it.
“You have no idea how odd it is having a series of books written about you.” Dorothy said. A quiet laugh escaped your mouth from her statement you could relate to a little too much to.
“Actually, we do know, and it is definitely weird.” You said. You and the younger man shared a small smile from the oddness of your life that almost no one could say the same for. You would be the first one to admit having a few dozen books written about you sucked. But you learned a thing or two along the way that made you cherish them. “But you know what? End of the day, it’s our story, so we get to write it.”
Charlie glanced over at the small crowd of three to see they were in a conversation of their own to wonder what her and Dean were discussing. She had been itching to get the man alone since the conversation she had with Dorothy back in Dean’s bedroom.
“So, thanks for the slumber party…” Charlie started off slow, easing her way into the topic she wanted answers. Dean smiled and nodded his head without much thought. He figured this was a conversation that was going to end with a goodbye. But she wasn’t leaving without a serious discussion. “…And bringing me back from the dead.”
Dean tried to give the young woman a confused expression from her accusation, pretending to wonder where she had gotten such an idea from. “Uh, I didn’t.”
“Don’t B.S. a B.S.er.” Charlie pushed for the truth. Dean knew his little white lie wasn’t going to cut it. She could tell from the way his expression changed in a heartbeat. She didn’t know if she should be relieved, or nervous at the consequences she was going to have to face with her new chance at life. “Am I a zombie now? Do I need to eat brains?”
“No, no, no. You’re you. You’re gonna be fine, all right?” Dean tried to reassure the woman that everything was the way it was before she got attacked. He glanced over at you and Sam to see the both of you were still oblivious to the conversation. And he wanted to make sure it stayed that way. “Just keep this between us, okay?”
Charlie rolled her eyes in annoyance from how secretive Dean was being with her. She didn’t know why he was acting like this. But she honored the man’s wishes from the things he had done for her. “All right, but only ‘cause you raised me from the dead, which you’re going to have to explain to me later.”
“All right.” Dean grumbled in defeat.
“Not bad for a bunch of librarians.” Dorothy approached the both of them just in time as the conversation was dropped once and for all. You and Sam followed behind to join the rest of them. “You mind keeping an eye on my bike for me?”
“Yeah. Totally.” You agreed with the woman’s only request. You glanced over your shoulder to take a peek at the motorcycle to see it in all of its glory where it had been collecting dust for almost eighty years. “As long as you don’t mind one of us taking it for a spin once in a while.”
“Deal.” Dorothy said. You smiled at the compromise and crossed your arms over your chest. It was a pleasure to meet the real Dorothy you had read about in the novels. She was strong and smart. Not to mention a Woman of Letters. A rare thing you discovered while poking your nose around the archives. You were happy to be not the only one to be able to hold the title anymore. “Thank you for everything. Now, if you excuse me, I have a rebellion to finish. So, you coming or what?”
The question was directed to Charlie, who suddenly looked like a deer in headlights at the opportunity she thought was too good to be true. “What? With you?” She asked. The grin that spread across her lips and the way her face lit up made you chuckle. “To Oz?”
“Yeah. You said you were looking for adventure. Well, here it is, Red.” Dorothy remembered the conversation she shared with the woman earlier. And she couldn’t have picked a better partner to share the adventure alongside with. “Come help find my damn dog.”
“You have no idea what’s in Oz. I mean, there’s flying monkeys, armies of witches.” Dean thought he was talking the young woman out of going to another world that wasn’t your own. Little did he realize he was pushing for her to take the opportunity. “There’s all kinds of danger.”
“Promise?” She asked, you felt your lips stretching into a smile at the sight of her happiness she couldn’t hide no matter how hard she tried.
“Maybe I was wrong. Maybe quests don’t suck after all. You just need to find the right one. And this is yours.” You found yourself taking back what you had said earlier. There was no denying this was tailor made for the redhead. And who were you to deny her the chance at doing some good? Your quest in life wasn’t what you thought it was. Yours was staying here, hunting and keeping the world safe from monsters. Hers was in Oz. “Go. Get your magic. Just make sure you kick some flying monkey ass for us, Red. You deserve it.”
Charlie quickly pulled you into a hug at your blessings. You wrapped your arms around her and pulled her into a tighter hug. A part of you was going to be always scared if she was safe, but Dorothy was going to make a great partner. And Charlie knew how to kick some ass. You pulled away to give the boys a chance at saying their goodbyes to the woman.
“If you need anything just tape your heels together three times, okay?” Sam gave the woman a hug of his own, making sure to keep the promise of always being here for when she decided to make her return back home.
“Me? What about you crazy kids?” She asked. “You gonna be alright without me?”
“I’ll make sure they don’t get into too much trouble.” You reassured the young woman.
“Take care of our boys, Y/N.” Charlie said. You nodded your head at her request. “And make sure you do the same for yourself.”
Charlie gave the three of you one final smile before looking over at Dorothy. She inhaled a deep breath and turned around with the woman to make their journey into Oz. Dorothy pulled the key out from the inside pocket of her jacket and placed it inside the lock of the doors. You watched as she pushed them open, revealing Oz in all of its glory. You felt your jaw parting open in amazement; you could see Emerald city in the distance and the yellow brick road to guide them. The scenery was gorgeous with its green mountains and miles of endless grass. It was straight out of the novel, better than you could ever imagine.
You felt a smile tug at your lips as Charlie made her first steps into the new world. She was the happiest you had ever seen her. The young woman stopped for a moment to give you and the boys one final smile. Dorothy saluted you as her final goodbye before the two women departed on their way. The doors slowly closed as they made their way down the yellow brick road. Deep down you knew they were going to be more than okay. Dorothy and Charlie made a great duo. They were going to have many adventures of their own. The boys opened up the double doors to make sure the entrance to Oz was closed. All you saw was the tunnel that led to the outside. Nothing else.
“Think she’ll be back?” You asked the boys.
“Of course.” Sam said. You turned your head to look up at the man from what he said next. A smile crept on your lips as Dean sneaked a hand around your waist, pulling you close to his chest. “There’s no place like home.”
In any other situation the words that came out of Sam's mouth would have felt cheesy. But in a way he was right. Home doesn't always have to be a place. Sam learned that from the lifestyle he led. Home can be a person. No matter where your quest took you, you knew you would always feel at home with the boys at your side.

Never a Model
I wish I could act like Remus so I can avoid situations like I’ve been in this afternoon.
Instead here’s a human au about why Roman thinks Remus acts the way he does.
Triggers: Logan is sort of unsympathetic so I’ll tag it just in case. discussion of the wizard of oz suicide story
/\/\/\/\
“I think it’s his defence to avoid the suggestions we get.” Roman sighed, having listened to Patton yelling over something Remus had done that day.
The words stopped everything the others were doing to focus on him. Janus turned the oven down so he didn’t have to focus on cooking, Patton folded himself onto the sofa and Logan blinked, closing the book he’d been reading instantly.
“What comments are you talking about kiddo?” Patton ventured, glancing to the others to see if they understood what he meant.
Roman just rolled his eyes. “The model comments. God, when we were younger Everyone insisted we should be models and even now I get them occasionally. Being an actor I can counter them pretty easily, especially with how much people think of acting as being based on looks as much as skills, but Remus never wanted to do anything like that.”
“So you think he acts as disgusting and twisted as he does to avoid it being suggested?” Janus raised an eyebrow, think of their friend’s latest adventure.
Logan was shaking his head too. “If that was the case then he’d at least stop acting like it occasionally. Remus is nothing if not consistent over how he acts.”
“Is he? So you’ve never had him tiredly say something and only add on an innuendo or gross comment two minutes later while you tried to find the double meaning in a perfectly plain phrase?” Roman challenged, smirking now. “Virigl definitely has seen the times he’s just calming down in the evening and the first time that happened called me to see if we’d swapped places. You’re his other roommate so I bet you’ve seen it occasionally at least.”
Momentary affront crossed Logan’s face, “Logic would suggest that when he’s tired his usual reactions are either delayed or not worth voicing. Perhaps because the reactions he’d recieve are too extreme given that tired people have been shown to have more creativity accoridng to some studies. That prooves nothing regarding his unconventionally disturbing actions being a mere act.”
“Roman’s his brother, surely he knows Remus better than you.” Patton commented, tilting his head to one side in thought. “Besides if anything being an artist makes Remus more likely than Roman to get comments about being a model, if not in advertising then for other people to paint. They aren’t going to suggest that if he’s got them too creeped out to want to spend time with him.”
Roman just chuckled now, holding up his hands. “True, I am the delightful sods brother, but if you don’t believe me perhaps asking him would work? He is coming over for dinner tonight after he and Virgil finish their shift.”
Logan huffed again, returning to his book muttering that nobody would keep up an act as consistently as Remus would have to be doing and Patton just nodded, wandering up to his room to put his bag away.
Janus however remained watching Roman for a moment. “Does that also mean he doesn’t trust people easily?” He asked.
“There are a lot of different levels of trust he can have in people. Just like you tend not to fully trust people for a while after meeting them and lie or mislead a lot until then, Remus has his own ways of deciding someone is trustworthy.” Roman sighed, leaning further back into the chair. “I’m going to have a nap until our final two arrive.”
Silence was his reply until he heard the over being reheated and movement from the kitchen once more.

“There’s a murder on the scenery!” Remus yelled, barging through the door as though he owned the flat. Wherever the friends were gathering Remus would act like it was his home regardless and while the others would have been concerned over the yell they relaxed at Virgil’s snickering entrance behind him.
“Have you been looking up stories about my musical, Remus?” Roman blinked awake, mentally trying to connect how a murder could be added into the backgrounds of his next production.
“Virgie mentioned it so of course I was adding it! Can I recreate the scene on one of the nights? I’ve got a dummy I could make look reallly reallllllly realistic to use!” Remus bounced into the room, throwing himself on top of Roman’s legs before they could be moved.
Patton came downstairs curiously now, “I don’t think there are any murders in Wizard of Oz except for the wicked witches.”
Roman shoved his brother to the floor sitting up once the weight was gone. “Technically no, but there is a suicide connected to it. Remus if you try that do it behind the wings so at the very most only the very front seats furthest to one side of the theatre stand a chance of spotting it. I’m not having you disrupt a performance for a story.”
“Better warn the actors it could happen though. I don’t think there’s a point in the script where Dorothy walks off stage only to run back on screaming in terror.” Virgil pointed out, still snickering. “I’ve got pics of what we’ve done since I know you’re going to want to check, Prince Pouty.”
“How is any of this an act, Roman!?” Logan’s book snapped shut, followed by an arm being flung towards Remus.
Virgil and Remus both paused at that, the outburst seemingly unconnected to anything that had been happening. That only lasted a second before Remus was wrapping himself around Logan.
“Aww, Logie Wolf has been talking about me? Should I be blushing?” His voice was babying, even as he curiously glanced towards Roman.
“One, I didn’t say it was entirely an act. I said I think it’s a defence mechanism to avoid getting told he should be a model as often as used to happen. Two, Remus has always liked dark conspiracies just like Virgil and Janus have done, why would that be part of the act?” Roman wasn’t sure why the idea had upset Logan so much but the fact he hadn’t actually asked Remus before assuming Roman was wrong was more than a little insulting. “And three, Remus is literally wrapped around you right now, why don’t you ask him if anything I’d suggested or said might be true?”
“Four, if it was why would I tell Youuuuuu?” Remus sang his addition, licking Logan’s cheek before letting go and heading into the kitchen. “Those lords are fighting, how are the fires igniting?” They could hear him trill to Janus.
Virgil snickered a little at that, before looking more closely at Roman. “For someone who tries to say he doesn’t like his brother at all you’re pretty astute when understanding him.”

Welcome back to the Land Of Oz! A Wicked inspired roleplay search!
I do also love to write on discord where possible (my discord is eleanorewinchester), so in your dm please tell me where you fell in love with the Oz verse, and who you can play most importantly. I am primarily looking for a Fiyero but I do have ideas for other pairings too. Please also send either a 🩷 or a 💚, to prove you read this. Thank you!
