by the way i dont know if i ever shared this headcanon from my dsmp days but i liked to think of the in-game exp drop that happens when someone dies, as the character's soul breaking into these particles and flying away to the player's respawn point. sort of my explanation for how the respawn mechanic works. and that if someone perma-dies that the particles just disperse out into the world like fireflies (or maybe they fuse into a ghost)

and thats why cdream was able to revive ctommy and cwilbur. because ghostbur was just all of cwilbur's soul particles fused together. and ctommy's never got to disperse because nothing leaves pandora :') so cdream was able to just put them back together

just sorta an idea i came up with that could explain how the revival & muliple lives mechanic could be explained in an actual story setting instead kf just minecraft physics. and i think it could make deaths look really tragic and beautiful because of the imagery of someone's soul just dispersing into what looks like fireflies, and just floating away, never to be seen again.

Uhm uh uh...I have no excuse for this 😔 PPG self insert who is secretly an alien! I imagine her intro episode would have her having a little romance with the professor when he comes into a bookstore she works at/owns and the girls being (rightfully, given the prof's dating history) suspicious of her. Wacky capers ensue where they try to prove that she's up to no good, only to find that she genuinely is just chilling and wants to live a normal life on earth!

Well, normal as she can, now that she knows this family! I think she'd fit right in 😉

Apparently, in the novel Style is already very much in love with Fadel when Kant tells him the truth (I haven't read it, though, so I could be misinformed, and apologies if I am), and I 100% get why that is appealing to a lot of people, I do!

But, damn, I LOVE that Style is on the cusp of feelings, finds out the truth, and then continues to fall headfirst in love with Fadel, despite (because???) of it. That is so my thing. That he knows this terrible truth, that he feels both scared and safe by turns with him, and he wants to know him anyway. He wants Fadel to lay himself bare for him. He wants to be his 100%. He wants to fall in love with him

And that is so beautiful to me

(I know the script isn't based on the novel btw, but reading about it spurred this post)

This is what it feels like every time a new SMP has streamers I like

#mod talk #This is mostly /j I will NOT be covering Cobblemon much #I love Pokemon but I'd actually like to dial things back #I don't try to watch every streamer or ever single thing in every server to know what's going on anymore #I did that for QSMP and it was fun! But it burned me out badly #For Arkanis I watched a few people but wound up just watching Pac towards the end #and for Realm I only watch like 3 - 4 people and even then only sometimes (which is pretty evident based on the long lapse in clip posting)#I like keeping things diverse content-wise #and I like including lots of different streamers in clips but this blog was never meant to be an update account #And that's sorta what it turned into during QSMP #But that's not the intention and I don't want folks to look at RA with that expectation because good god is that unrealistic #I am one person. Watched this a while ago with a friend and it was a lot of fun!!!#If you're reading this: thank you so much for hanging out with me I had such a good time (ㅅ´ ˘ )♡#Next to general considerations: wow they were right that Bungou Stray Dogs movie sure can Bungou Stray Dogs #It's always nice to see the detailed animation and elaborate backgrounds of movies. The animation quality compared to the manga is–#definitely noticeable and it's nice to see. That said... I still like the season 2 art style more? And I'm speaking strictly of art style.#The s2 one looks more soft and smooth while the da one is so much more rough.#The plot is... Very bsd-esque I don't think there's anything to add.#In my opinion Kyouka's arc is the one that turned out best tbh. I really like her narrative development and personal growth in this movie.#I like the complexity of her state of mind. how full of contradiction she is. I especially appreciate the recurring small changes of–#expression that indicate how she thinks differently from Atsushi even if she doesn't voice them. The fight between her cynicism and her–#kind nature. It's all very interesting.#Atsushi's development is interesting too. Although all the open questions about his ability we still have kind of leave me frustrated #I don't feel very strongly about Akutagawa in this movie? I mean‚ he's there. The ss/kk scenes are always great and in character and a joy–#to witness no matter what they do. He just doesn't shine particularly? Or at least personally I dont find the “proving my strength against–#myself” narrative arc to be particularly interesting. Imo it was a lot better flashed out in the da stage play! With the complexity that–#the dialogues with Chuuya added to the character. Dazai attacking him. And especially Aktgw understanding that Rashomon wasn't testing Aktg #but rather only expressing that unstoppable rage that is also Aktgw's own. About that I checked out the play and I really liked it!!#I only watched highlights (aka: ss/kk and chuu/aku scenes) but there's some stuff I really like. I like the conflict between Aktgw and–#Chuuya and how Chuuya messes up with Aktgw at first maliciously and then amiably. It's interesting how Atsushi himself observes that Kyouka #and Akutagawa get along. And especially the sskk almost-handholding and Atsushi saying Akutagawa has a nice profile were cute akjdhbsawhjb #Next. Da really is shipping paradise (╥﹏╥) Sorry but... It is. oda/zai. daz/atsu. ss/kk. s/kk. fuku/mori. chuu/aku. It really has everythin #and the moments are so good!!!! What else. Wish we'd see more of Tsujimura. And Christie. And women in general tbh.#Also‚‚‚‚‚ Atsushi's tiger form in this movie is ATROCIOUS. I've said it before but it's crazy how a franchises that relies so heavily on–#fanservice came up with something this hideous. Man the movie overall was pretty but Atsushi sure wasn't. They'll never make me hate you Cementoss, underrated king. I wanted to have a crack at drawing a height chart with the Chiktoss family to settle how I want to draw Cementoss's proportions and I'm pretty happy with it!

I altered some things like removing his square kneecaps and gave his body more shape around the stomach, I like to think he's got a dad bod rather then just being...well, a cube with limbs
