Steve finds out this gay club he and Eddie go to sometimes is having a metal night, it’s on a Friday and he’s exhausted from work but still, he takes Eddie. It’s absolutely worth it with the way Eddie’s eyes light up at the start of every song
He did however miscalculate a bit because he keeps trying to kiss Eddie who does happily kiss back but only for a second before pulling away to scream-sing the lyrics in Steve’s face

people really do not know what they're talking about when it comes to Elizabeth Woodville's social status, huh?
#yes Elizabeth was without a doubt considered too low-born to be queen#no she was not a commoner and nobody actually called her that during her life (so I'm not sure why people are claiming that they did?)#Elizabeth's social status was not a problem in itself; it was a problem in the context of queenship and marrying into royalty#Context is important in this and for literally everything else when it comes to analyzing history. #rotmmpr#mighty morphin power rangers#mmpr#power rangers#my art#had one of those moments where i had an idea that i fully don't quite have the skill for and decided to give it a go anyway#was truly just messin around and made something i really like!!#look at the cool thing i made!!#its essentially just a mock promo image/poster for the show#could've probably cropped it to just have the helmets and the logo but i liked having the team walkin away from them as well#also i was listenin to the rise playlist i made while drawin and it's such a vibe#oh!! also this is a good time to quickly explain how the helmets work in rise - since i've only ever drawn them completely morphed#essentially they're just the top part when not worn (for portability - they can also be stored on the back of the suits or on the belt)#and then the white underpart and mouth cover materialize/pop out in a ranger colored shimmer#the mouth piece is essentially skin-tight and allows the rangers to emote and understand each other's speech#while distorting their voices slightly for anyone unmorphed - kind of like in the '17 movie for lack of a better way to describe it

something I've been thinking about lately. i do think it's incredibly telling that almost 80 percent of the conversations around 'gatekeeping' and 'posers' and shit end up just becoming vitriolic hatred of 'alt girls' like i hate shit spotify playlists and dollskill fake leather edge and tiktok recommendations as much as the next person but this is a very big attitude coming from a website full of people who spent their formative middle school years shopping at hot topic for multi-colored skinny jeans while listening to like. falling in reverse or 21p unironically (this is a self-own btw). first of all teenagers having shit taste isn't killing punk music. but also why is the object of your hatred always boil down to a woman faking it? as if it isn't the single oldest stereotype in heavy music? like am i insane for thinking this is an issue

Making a level 0 Lancer character just to try it out and I wanted to make a kinda support character, so I ended up with a playstyle that does stuff like using Lock On to support allies, and also placing drones and using tech attacks. When it came time to pick my weapons, I realized I probably won't actually be shooting them too often, so weapons that require reloading won't have that much of a downside.
And that's how my support character ended up wielding a pair of Missile Racks and a Superheavy Cyclone Pulse Rifle.
#original#lancer#never played the game and possibly never will so i have no idea whether this is a terrible idea#but it is funny for my uwu softie medic + spotter that barely ever directly fights and just supports#to finally bust out the biggest weapon possible and just delete someone#it might be a good idea to have at least one weapon that doesn't require reloading#but i have other options so it's fine#and using multiple loading weapons means i get to reload all of them at once! value!#maybe mid-combat reloading is terrible but i'm a gunlance player i fucking love wasting my time reloading my big fucking gun(s)#also my mech has cat ears#i like to imagine it has no visible weapons and is just placing down turrets and doing Tech Stuff looking harmless#and then when The Time Is Right it pops open its whole chest and pulls out the Cyclone Pulse Rifle and that's the last thing you ever see#or just like “oh the enemies are standing next to each other? yay!” and then a torrent of AOE missiles spew from its mouth#of course this is all before i've even looked at the options that licenses give#ideally something with more drones to play with for my Drone Commander talent

my body doesn’t Hate me, per se. It just Loves being an annoying little shit
#my post#i feel a little bad about complaining about it sometimes#because it’s not like i have super serious afflictions#and we’ve gotten some handled through this or that#but. i’ve just got. such an extensive collection of#‘‘bodily things that would be fine individually albeit annoying; but i’ve got all of them so it makes for a frustrating existence’’#subacute eczema. the worst of the bunch. only on my hands but very itchy and still eczema#scapular winging or whatever they call it when you can pop out your scapulas at will.#not very bad at all. the least offensive. just aches sometimes and makes me worry#some tinnitus. a tad annoying. i hear it most when it’s quiet or i’m inside. sometimes it flares but not often. tuning it out isn’t too har#chronic rhinitis. i got some surgery(?) for this one. lotta nose sprays.#my nose is almost always congested and runny and going anywhere without tissues is dangerous.#dry lips. also not altogether that bad it’s just annoying and it gets cracked and sometimes painful to open my mouth too wide ig.#we manage that one well with whatever lip products my sister gave me. it’s not very bad#dandruff? maybe? is it dandruff or just scalp skin? i got no clue man#and you’re like. ‘‘okay you’re right those are all quite annoying. but is it really that bad?’’#and i’m like ‘‘No. but have you Considered that i have to deal with them all at Once?’’#BUT THAT. ISN’T EVEN IT. ‘CAUSE IT’D BE ONE THING IF MY BODY WAS JUST BUILT LIKE THAT. BUT MY BRAIN HATES ME TOO.#BOOM. dermatillomania!! i pick at my acne a little. under my nails. the hard skin under my nails.#my scalp! until it’s itchy and there’s a little bit of blood! i gently pull at my eyelashes a little bit and rub my eyes.#and. get this. dry and flaky bits of skin. GUESS WHERE I HAVE FLAKY BITS OF SKIN. OH THAT’S RIGHT: THE SUBACUTE ECZEMA ON MY HANDS.#it’s better now it really is but i have spent hours picking at it after i’m already all set for bed. 2-3 hrs over a trash can picking at it#‘‘yeah okay that’s bad. but-’’ BOOM. dry swallowing pills is my stupidest flex. i'm not even showing off anymore i'm just impatient
#this post brought to you by#the breakfast of champions#(a monster energy and a naproxen)#and my decision at a rather young age to figure out how to do it because sometimes juggling pills and water in your mouth is too difficult#obviously small dry ones are easier#gel caps and large pills are a lot more difficult *mostly* due to size#but the gels are also more prone to sticking to me accidentally on the way down which is Super Uncomfortable#that said i learned my technique on the dayquil gel caps when those were relatively new and thus the ergonomic tech on the cap shape/size#wasn't quite there yet but they did catch up#and also my hips which i think are the actual problem and not my lower back which is...really annoying mostly lmao#i can FIX lower back if that's wrong#idk how to un-dislocate (i assume) my whole pelvis and put it back into place properly#that post about ripping your spine out and fixing it manually out in the open but for the rest of the skellybones#that's how i feel#on the plus side something *did* big major pop back into place last night and i imagine at least some of this pain is related#but like#ow#that's not very nice and kind of you Mr. Pelvic Area#if my hips didn't part like god commanded them to make way for his people to escape egypt once a month every month#i probably wouldn't HAVE this issue#i'm Stretching i'm Moving as much as i'm fucking capable i'm Learning How Far Is Too Far and i'm just like#why isn't it WORKING#what am i doing WRONG#and it's just that my body hates me specifically and doesn't want me to have a good time hardly ever#also probably my hip joints are related to this#i'm relatively certain i have mild hip dysplasia (or however it's spelled) as well as the hypermobility#which i'm just assuming at this point is EDS due to all the other factors involved but like fucking hell#it's almost like a fucking chronic illness that causes pain regularly or something#i wanna speak to the manager of bones#i've got some Choice Fucking Words for them
