I love the clone wars trio bc I see them all as different commentaries on the Jedi of the time.
Obi Wan is what the Jedi were.
Anakin is what the Jedi preached against.
Ahsoka is what the Jedi should aspire to be.
Obi Wan had the best of intentions: he wanted to save Anakin, to save Satine, to save Ahsoka. But in the end he failed due to Sith scheming. He was set up to fail, wether it be his dead master or the intergalactic war he was forced to fight in. And in the end Anakin did fall from the light, Satine was killed in Maul's quest for revenge, and Ahsoka walked away. He was a well-intentioned man with a good heart who was ultimately set up to fail by the Sith.
Anakin too wanted safety for his loved ones, but he took it to far. Instead of prioritizing those people, their wants and needs, he prioritized the way they made him felt. Instead of selfless love, he loved selfishly, which is exactlaly what the Jedi are against. They're not against love, they're against attachment. Anakin couldn't let go of Ahsoka: it corroded his faith in the Jedi, sowed seeds of resentment. He couldn't accept that Padme or Obi Wan didn't agree with his vision, because if they don't make him feel good, then they no longer love him. Anakin was a kind boy twisted by the Sith and his misguided attachment to others.
Ahsoka falls into a similar category as Obi Wan, except for one detial. She walked away. She recognized that the Jedi were unintentionally loosing themselves in war. And even through she was a spectacular warrior, a talented commander, she recognized that it wasn't supposed to be her job. She was able to let go of her attachment to Anakin and the 501st. She was a product of her masters and friends, of Obi Wan, Anakin, Padme, and all the others who influenced her growth. And even in the end, when her world fell, she still acted with compassion and understanding, which is exactly what a Jedi should be. Despite her discomfort with the twisted meaning of the title, Ahsoka embodied the fundamental traits of a Jedi. Not flawless, but an empathetic peacekeeper capable of embracing love and rejecting attachment.
Idk if I'm articulating it right, but the general idea is there.

Ahsoka: I blatantly disobeyed orders and almost got myself and my troops killed Mace: You're working in the library, young lady! Prosset Dibs: I want to kill you. Mace: Well I'm gonna put you on library duty and hope you change your mind. The war's been rough on everyone. Republic Law Enforcement Officer: Okay, so Boba Fett tried to murder you. What's your recommendation? Mace: Okay, hear me out. We find a library - RLEO: NO!

[clarification: I meant Filoni decided Ahsoka is a Knight using the Bendu as a mouthpiece]
To anyone wondering why Ahsoka is addressed as "Jedi Knight" in the live-action show:
It happened in a fever dream
Ahsoka was knighted by the Bendu before Malachor in a Filoni tweet on 7 July, 2017. (Malchor aired 30 March, 2016)
Tumblr media
This is a PSA but at the same time not providing grounds for it to be a sensible choice. It is an example of Filoni requiring the audience to follow every bit of non-source material for full context. For the second time at least. First time being Bane's grudge against Boba in TBOBF relied on an unproduced TCW Tatooine roadtrip arc between the two.

Clone and Unknowingly Cuddling
I’ve seen a lot of back and forth in whether clone troopers would be big on physical touch or not.
I think that it would make a little more sense especially from canon that the clones would be a little bit less into physical touch just based on their upbringing… HOWEVER
How funny would it be that no matter wear they fell asleep, who they were nearest to, anything, while they are asleep they will somehow find a way to cuddle right up to the nearest person.
They could be in the opposite side of a cave from someone on their own sleeping pad and everything and still somehow find a way to end up right on top of that other person.
Obi-Wan was very confused the first time he and Cody shared a tent in a campaign and he woke up to find Cody gone from his own cot on one side of the tent and in his cot.
Rex was horrified when he woke up on night while in a mission spooning his general. Anakin was a little surprised but didn’t say anything about it.
Even someone as standoffish and scary as Fox, has woken up after falling asleep on Senator Chuchi’s couch after going 4 days without sleep, completely glommed into the Pantoran.
Echo thought for sure he was going to be decommissioned when he woke up wrapped around his little commander, but Ahsoka assured him that she really didn’t mind and slept quite well.
Bly almost had a heart attack the first time he’d done it to Aalya. He’d even positioned himself closer to one of his captains that night so it wouldn’t happen. He’d quickly realized that the person spooning him from behind was his captain.
This habit of unconsciously ending up cuddling other people happens to make clone cuddle piles deadly for anybody to close to get dragged in. You will end up with three different people glommed onto you.
Oh did I mention that they also don’t let go until they wake up?

Rex: now stay put! You're just about as bad as the shinies with your impulse control [forehead vein bulging]
Ahsoka: ... You do know I'm higher in command than you, don't you, Captain?

ok ok so we all know luke skywalker ends up making his gay little jedi academy daycare school temple thing and i imagine he ends up with quite the list of ppl attending bc its Luke Skywalker and also force sensitives would flock to bro but then this begs the question of who tf is taking care of all them kids???? its not luke! hes very smart and very strong but i think him and his strange/ dangerous tatooine upbringing would accidently send those children to death. how was he meant to know that the bears in the forest werent friendly? hes never seen a bear before! and so on and so forth. so then whos making sure every one is alive and feeding the kids three square meals? it cant JUST be ahsoka. she'd go crazy from trying to wrangle 20 force sensitive kids and luke. hm..... maybe chewie helps? idk. give me your thoughts plz. and dont say mr din djarin madalorian bc he would be just as bad.

Good grief, what is with the recent crosstagging posts in the PRO JEDI tag??? I blocked them, but STILL...
It’s horrible sometimes. 😭😒💔 The Acolyte has only made it worse… but while I’m not gonna lie and say I’m not glad it’s canceled… I’m also not gonna rub fans’s faces in it. Especially because of the lost representation they all probably felt. The show just wasn’t for me. I was never going to enjoy it after the Order 66 genocide apologia line. 🥶😒
But it is ABHORRENT how the actors have been treated by the alt right/dudebro members of the fandom who hate it for “wOkEnEsS 🤪”. 🤢 The people who harassed the actors from the beginning before even learning what the STORY would be like are just… horrible, HORRIBLE little people. And the way the actress for Osha has been treated is the worst of it all.
But anyway, I kinda went off on a tangent. 😅😂❤️ The point is that I feel you about anti Jedi SW fans posting in the pro jedi/Jedi tags. It sucks, but the best thing you can do is just block them for your piece of mind.
I’m just glad that The Acolyte won’t be around to continue to spread such anti Jedi resentment in the fandom. There’s already so much of it, and it’s always stomach turning to read people’s “hot takes 😒” on how the Jedi got what was coming to them or that they were “corrupted” or that Order 66 gave them the chance to “start anew” with Luke. 🤢🫠💔
People don’t even be realizing how they sound sometimes.
So sorry for the late response! ❤️❤️ I hope this long reply is worth the wait.

Everyone writes Cody as “I do not care for *looks at smudged handwriting* Anfin and Aska”
WRONG
I believe that he truly does care for them and the rest of the 151st. He just doesn’t show it outright because it’s against regulations and bc he’s scared of getting attached bc he could die or they could die at any moment
“But he shows his affection for Obi-Wan-“
… it’s OBI-WAN FUCKING KENOBI of course he would.
That redhead-mullet-beard combo motherfucker had sith, mandolarians, other Jedi, and many many many many others in love with him at all times.
He was the Hozier, Pedro Pascal, Henry Cavill, Oscar Isaac, Micheal B Jordan, Simu Liu, etc etc for space people
Not a fair comparison

Imagine surviving the war only to lose most of the people closest to you.
The Woman that once upon a time held your heart in her hands.
The Girl that you loved like a daughter and whose death would ultimately lead to you losing your only brother.
In this universe, the river of time flows differently. Each step, each choice, and each poignant moment in its stream drift slightly off course.
It starts like this:
When Ahsoka and Bo-Katan ask the Jedi Order for aid in freeing Mandalore from Darth Maul's grasp and finally putting an end to the former Sith's reign, Obi-Wan does not ignore their call for help. Satine's ghost still haunts his nightmares, and it's the look on her sister's face, along with the redheads snarling accusations and Ahsoka's distant demeanor, that cause his typically composed exterior to splinter.
Through the cracks in his shields, a presence slips in – wild and tumultuous, yet practically radiant in its brilliance.
Days, months, weeks and even years later Obi-Wan will wish he'd taken a little longer to cradle her presence close.
It ends like this:
Anakin with Windu on the Invisible Hand. A incapacitated Sith in custody and another, more vile, more cunning, more sinister, choosing the wrong moment to reveal himself. A twist of fate. A long lost friend showing signs of old loyalty. Lightning. Screams. Hurt and Betrayal. The Chosen One as he was meant to be without terrors of the night influencing his most damning decision. Red clashing with purple, with blue. Red, blue, purple, blue, red, purple— A head rolls. The cackling stops.
For a moment, Peace.
A bond, frail at the edges but oh so resilient, crafted amidst blaster fire and silly nicknames and bets made on the battlefield, breaks—
Anakin screams.
On Mandalore the last chess piece falls with a Padawans last sacrifice.
First, Maul taunts. Maul laughs. Maul feeds on rage, on grief and hurt and terror, terror, terror. He's stronger here. Less controlled too, but while his greed costs him his head, his strength costs Obi-Wan the centerpiece of his lineage.
Obi-Wan holds his daughter as she bleeds out in his arms. His shoulders shake but he does not cry. His eyes burn but he does not weep. His lips twitch but he does not sob. He holds Ahsoka much the same way he held Satine only months before.
“No, not you too.”
Something flickers inside his mind, once, twice. It grows ever dimmer and Ahsoka's grip on his shoulder, ever weaker. A feeble voice inside his mind, It's okay. It doesn't hurt. I'll be okay, Master.
But this time no reassurance, no hand to his cheek, no last confession, nothing, will temper the anger slowly rising in tandem with his grief. He needs a medic. He needs a medic, now. Where's —
Cody!
Obi-Wan doesn't like the expression on the face of his slowly approaching Commander. The furrow of his brow, the emotion in his eyes. He doesn't like that Cody has taken off his helmet and reaches out to hold Obi-Wan by his shoulder as if he knows Obi-Wan needs the physical support, as if Ahsoka is going to —
“Master—”
Obi-Wan turns his eyes back on his Grandpadawan. Hers are barely open, her lips smeared with blood. Obi-Wans eyes catch on the red trailing down her chin and the length of her throat.
Ahsoka catches his eyes and smiles. She tugs on their bond the way she had always done before a battle, up until her last assignment on Caito Neimodia.
She tugs once, twice, three times. His heart squeezes painfully in his chest. He tugs back three times.
He does cry then. For the life she will never have. For the peace she will never experience. For the war she fought and whose final victory she will never reap. For the girl he learned to love as his own.
And even in her last moment, even in pain, even after Hurt and Miscommunication, and Betrayal born out of insecurity and misjudgment, she still worries for others first. For him.
You're safe. You're all sa—
He shushes her. Tired amusement tingles across their bond.
Then,
Inhale. Exhale. Inhale.
You are forgiven, Obi-Wan.
Exhale. The light winks out and as their bond shatters his last remaining one pulls tight with white hot agony.
Cody is all that keeps Obi-Wan upright right then and there.
The war is over. They won. So many dead. His lineage torn asunder.
Ahsoka is dead. Anakin won't speak to him. Qui-Gon is dead. Dooku is imprisoned.
Here the river of time finds a stream parallel to the one we know.
Obi-Wan and Yoda at the end of things.

i wanna see an au where ahsoka raised leia after anakin turned and padme died.
i wanna see ahsoka struggle with her feelings about anakin and what happened while raising one of his children. i want to see ahsoka tell little leia about the parents she loved so dearly, the parents that were her closest friends.
i wanna see leia raised using the force but not following in the jedi path. i want to see leia learn about her parents in a light that only ahsoka could paint them in. i want to see them training together and leia learning nuggets of wisdom from ahsoka. i wanna see leia tano.
