Warnings; reader is afab/described a girl, yandere behaviors, stalking, I talk a lot, lots of ramblings, probably doesn't make any sense, bad writing, more stalking, Tumblr is trying to silence me, ngl Hanayama is growing on me... If I missed anything, then please let me know ♡ Bro, I'm so sorry that this is super rushed, seeing as I hit the word limit??? I'm super confused because I barely wrote anything, but whatever. A lot of my headcanons are based around @yandere-writer-momo. Also, sorry for being offline for so long lol, kinda forgot I had Tumblr ngl :/
Tumblr media
Okay, to start this off, I think that realistically, it'd be very, very, very hard to get Hanayama's attention. He's shown to be stoic and stone-faced, only showing respect and warmth toward specific people (Baki and Shiba included). And I think it's important to mention that the people he does respect is due to their fighting spirit and/or strength, that or they were there during his childhood (like Kizaki and his mama).
And that's just for him to show basic affection toward them, not even accounting for being loving. For you to catch his attention, I think that you'd have to be either a really strong fighter (meaning having impressive skills of some sort) or have a strong will, either one will work. (Though, a lot of the time, both go hand-in-hand).
When I say a strong will, I don't mean you get up after being punched over and over, instead, it can just be standing up for others. Similar to Katsumi, I can see Hanayama being attracted to a person who's selfless, in the sense that they're brave. Someone who's willing to push through their fear and do it, whatever it is. Now, that catches his attention.
There's a never-ending list of cowards who'll run with their tails between their legs at the sight of discomfort, willing to abandon everything just for their own gain, and Hanayama encounters these men all the time. Let's just say that it gets boring, annoying even. So when you see someone who's spitfire, ready to jump into danger for themselves or others. Now, that's impressive.
Whether or not they can actually carry through doesn't matter too much, it's the fact that they got back up, not letting their dignity lay to rest. Personally, I find that Hanayama would be far more interested in someone who's genuinely acting selfless in this way, acting from the heart.
Going more into his childhood, I think this type is rooted in Hanayma's relationship with his mother. Though I haven't read the manga, from the wiki, I've gained that he was close to his mother, loving her very much. We don't know much about her. Hell, we don't even know her name, but we do know that she was kind.
That's the only information we're given, but even from that, I can make an analysis. From this, I know that Hanayama was likely a Mama's boy, though still being trained to be a Yakuta. I don't mean Mama's boy in the traditional sense, I mean it in the way that she was his peace, his way out of the Yukuta world, his destiny. Being raised in a gangster lifestyle isn't easy, nor is it soft, so just imagine the damage that type of environment can put on a child's brain?
Horrible, huh? So I like to think that Hanayama's mama, before she passed, was far softer to him, giving him some sense of security. this is possibly why he felt such sorrow after she passed, discarding the natural pain we feel when our mama dies (seeing as there's a primal connection we have with our mama, but that doesn't matter too much at the moment).
Hanayama is a very monotone kind of guy, who, I imagine, doesn't like people with some type of alternate motive. Like, y'know how politicians or businessmen talk? Like they're hiding something from you? Yeah, Hanayama loathes those kinds of people, especially if they're trying to pursue him. I belive that he wants someone who'll keep his life steady; be his calm, if you will.
He wants someone who will be upfront, express themselves clearly, and won't keep what they're thinking from you. To him, this is a breath of fresh air. Hanayama is constantly surrounded by lackeys trying to kiss up to him, speaking with a hidden motive (which isn't really hidden in retrospect). If they're not trying to appease them, then they're quacking in their boots, ready to piss themselves.
But you're not like that, no, not at all. You're different. Hanayama can tell, you aren't some coward, instead, you're someone to respect. He can imagine you sitting next to him, all pretty as a Yakuza's wife. Yeah, he likes the sound of that. Well, the only problem is that you don't know who he is, not yet at least.
I imagine that you wouldn't know who Hanayama is, at first, seeing as he never spoke to you. He likely witnessed you acting selfless in some type of way, expressing your kindness by helping a grandma get across the street, something like that.
You didn't notice him, but he sure noticed you. At first, it wasn't anything too special. Hanayama just found you interesting, wanting to see what you'd do next, so he had one or two of his men keep a tab on you--nothing serious. It continues like that for quite a while, and Hanayama learns more and more about you. He knows that you like to sing when you cook, tapping your feet to the beat, and swaying side-to-side. It's cute, he thinks. And Hanayama feels closer to you, as if you know each other, like you're friends.
But then one of his men reports that you're not at home, not following your usual schedule. Instead, you were at some dingy cafe, drinking crappy coffee with another man, some slumbag who looked like he hadn't showered in a hot second. For some reason, which Hanayama doesn't know, he gets ticked off.
Someone as sweet, kind, and damn pretty as you shouldn't associate with someone like him, someone so gross.
He doesn't do anything, no, no yet. It'd be too brash, and too stupid. And Hanayama isn't stupid. No, Hanayama can keep himself composed, now knowing that he needs to get your attention. Afterall, he can't have you running around with other men, not when he's right here! Well... you don't know that, yet.
Few weeks pass, and you've completely forgotten the trashy date you had gone on, but Hanayama hasn't. You begin to notice new outfits appearing in your closet, clothing you certainly didn't have previously. They're far too expensive, too revealing for you to own.
You'll be confused, especially when these dresses, heels, and coats are no longer just appearing, but instead, being presented. Now, instead of being hung up or nicely folded in your closet, they're being laid out on your bed, accompanied by a pretty, black leather box with silk insides. A little note is stuck on top of the shimmering dress, causing you to gulp, looking around as a shiver racks through your body.
Who the hell is buying you a dress? (though, it looks far more like lingerie, seeing as you'd never be able to wear it out in public). You don't know, but you can't help but feel the heat rise to your cheeks as you lift the velvet cloth, feeling the lace slip through your fingers. Once you tried it on, listen, you couldn't help but feel curious, you gawked at how it fit you like a glove, hugging your curves, and accentuating your hips and bust.
It's fucking creepy, that's all you can think, but it gets worse, way worse. Throughout the weeks, you notice more and more gifts show up at your doorstep. The dresses get severely revealing, much to your discomfort. So do the notes. They get too detailed and too accurate to your day-to-day. By now, it's clear that you have a stalker, a rich one at that.
I'd have to say that this is the worst part of being with Hanayama: the courting. It's hella weird! You'll never feel alone, always having someone watching you, mostly Hanayama. He doesn't have his lackeys watching you anymore, seeing as he's far too jealous for that. He doesn't want someone as low at them to see you in such an innocent, vulnerable state. No, that's only for him to see.
Don't be surprised when he shows up at your door, your last hookup's head in hand and a bundle of roses in the other. After all, it's time for you to come home, no?

Seiko Ayase's Appearance
I've gotten a few people wanting an elaboration on this so I figured I'd compile a post of what we know so far + implications in the manga
MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD!
Unfortunately the dandadan and heros wiki aren't super helpful, so it took me a bit to gather everything.
Alright so already we know Seiko looks unnaturally young for her age. However, some people aren't realizing it's intentional. It's heavily implied, albeit not outright state yet, that the reason Seiko looks so young is due to her abilities, interactions, and position of spiritual power in her region. I recommend reading the second half of [this post] talking about the potential meaning of the word "dandadan" as it connects directly to this post too.
Tldr; the word dandadan is likely relating to the interactions between humans and spirits along with the resulting side-effects of it
One of the biggest tip-offs that Seiko's appearance isn't just for reader preference is the multiple references to her appearance by other characters
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unfortunately I don't think we've seen Kinta, Vamola, Rin, or Kouki actually around when Momo mentions directly that Seiko is her grandma.
Mostly it's only been mentioned in passing around the others, so it's likely none of them put together the pieces that "granny" is actually Seiko
In addition to this, Seiko makes a point to wear a mask when she goes on TV. Not only that, almost all of her visible skin is covered. Knowing that she doesn't appear to age, it's likely that this is done to reduce the chances of people catching on. With no visible face, giant cloaks, and even metal armor on her hand to reduce the visibility, it seems intentional so Seiko can hide her true age/appearance.
Tumblr media
Another point is that Seiko does have supernatural abilities, even to some degree outside of her regional abilities. She's fast enough to evade the Evil Eye and even put a crater in the ground when she hits him with her bat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We've seen Seiko produce a number of abilities, but the biggest note about her physicality is that it's outside her area of work. This means she's already significantly weakened but she still manages the strength to perform like this
All in all, it's heavily implied that this is all stemming from Seiko's abilities. Along with the phrase dandadan and how the entire series seems to be focusing on the religion-body relationship of the characters, it makes it even more likely that Seiko's appearance is a result of her spirituality.
Hopefully we get more elaboration in the manga, but this is what's known so far. With the current arc ending soon and the foreshadowing of even larger battles coming up, we'll hopefully get to see more of her in action plus an elaboration on how Seiko's abilities effect her physically.
While some of this may have been influenced by ageism and Japan's beauty standards, we can't know for sure unless Yukinobu Tatsu says it specifically. So far, though, there's been genuine hints of why Seiko looks this way so it seems to be more than just "not wanting her to look old"

one of the Big Hurdles for me when it comes to thinking about the drain is trying to strike that balance between "engages meaningfully with GGG's Overarching Themes" and "could plausibly exist in a saturday morning cartoon setting, goofs and all." with that said here's some of my favorite ideas i've gathered from both me own brain and mutuals on discord/bluesky. unless stated otherwise none of these are Necessarily meant to overlap with one another. But They Can.
though the environment is harsh and resources are scarce, drain society itself is rather mundane. the twist is that both the grove and the drain are convinced that the other island is the worst possible fate that could befall anyone ("i hear nobody ever gets to leave the drain" vs "those who leave for the grove never come back...") and the bonkers fucking yonkers geography going on between them does not help. should they ever make proper contact postcanon there will be a lot of initial confusion. this one came about from spitballing with my lovely mutual momo who is Not on tumblr but has made some beautiful art/exploration of drain environments.
my other mutual cici's brought up the idea of there being a Drain-Specific Branch of the bizzyboys meant to look after those still in the drain + the org As A Whole reforming into a sort of mutual aid/outreach program thing (or at least such a group being set up in their place) which i also think is cool. something something embracing one's roots/place of origin albeit in a kind of roundabout way rather than shunning them entirely. i also like the idea of like, the drain branch getting news of the disbandment of the surface branch and coming up to have, ah, some strong words with hector about how if he's really gonna turn himself around then he's gotta help them get their shit sorted, too. after all, every good grove citizen knows you don't maintain a paradise through being complacent!
i know i talk about the idea that the drain is the idea of oblivion/irrelevance made manifest to be like an inverse of the grove being all about preservation and archival and recordkeeping and history In General. but i'm about to do it again: i think there's something kinda beautiful n bittersweet about the idea of there being genuine communities that have formed among people deemed Forgotten. our environment may quite literally be out to fucking kill us and any progeny we may have in here but i want you alive and hey that's gotta count for somethin'. i think this also presents a cool lil moral conundrum that could be explored in postcanon fanwork. like from the perspective of someone who's like. ok well what if i don't want to be forgotten but i also don't want to uproot my whole goddamn house just to be remembered. what if i just want to fix my house. after all, isn't that just as metal as a mass exodus?
i don't really have an end goal here i just think fan speculation meeting worldbuilding is sick as fuck lol. what are y'alls favorite ideas for the drain?

The Ghosts in IDOLiSH7 are a Literary Device, Mostly
(an essay by me)
People are always asking me, "Robin, what the fuck is up with those ghosts in IDOLiSH7? How come this otherwise completely non-supernatural universe randomly has these two ghosts that show up and then never get acknowledged again? Is it just canon that ghosts exist and only Riku and Momo can see them?" and I am always telling them that I have an analysis about this I just haven't written it yet. But that ends today, as do all of these very pressing concerns about the i7 Ghosts™, because here I am, finally writing the analysis. This essay will have two sections, the first on the training camp ghost from part 3/third beat, and the second on the Re:vale house ghost from Yuki's third chapter of Re:member. So, spoilers for all of part 3/third beat in both sections, Re:member in section 2, and there's one extremely minor spoiler for part 4 in section 1 but it's honestly so predictable I don't think it even counts. Also, I'll reiterate this once we get to it, but just a warning that section 2 will contain discussions of depression, suicide and suicidal ideation, and a brief mention of self-harm, so please stop reading after section 1 if you don't want to see any of that! Another less important disclaimer about section 2 is that I am going to spend an entirely unecessary amount of time talking about Yuki. I am normal about Yuki. Okay. Without further ado, let's watch my spiral into ghost analogy insanity unfold!
Game translations: @seigyokus Re:member translations: @ takara_time (+ scans and editing by @ waitamomoment) Rabbit chat translations: @osakaso5
Section 1: The Training Camp Ghost
This first point applies to both ghosts, but I wanna start by noting that I think superstitions and beliefs like this are more common in Japan than a lot of other places, so yeah it is entirely possible that ghosts are just a canon and accepted thing in Idolish7's universe and this isn't really that strange of a detail for the series to include. However, I don't have any real background knowledge about if ghosts are normal in non-supernatural anime/etc. and I am not committing to that kind of research, so we'll have to leave the specifics of the ghost canonicity issue to someone else. But regardless of how canon they are, I think we've established well enough by now that the i7 writers don't put much of anything in the series without reason (re:vale band name you will always be famous. to me), and that definitely applies here as well - both of our ghosts are doing a LOT of potential symbolic work in their brief appearances, and that's what we'll be unpacking today, starting with the TCG.
The infamous TCG (training camp ghost) of Atami needs no introduction, but I'll give her one anyway. During the filming of the Friends Day special, upon following the shopping group home, she offers her services to Riku (inexplicably the only person capable of communicating with her) for the evening entertainment group's test of courage, terrorises several cast members throughout the day, and finally brings us Soma Saito's incredible cover of Dis One before probably being sent back to idol fan purgatory forever. Who is she? Where did she come from? I have several theories.
1.1: The TCG is the audience
While the 'ghosts are real in i7' possibility is there, I think it's also important to note in this case that the whole training camp is very explicitly being filmed for TV, and the biggest vibe I get from this episode of the anime is that the ghost is a part of the show, and we're seeing that show through the eyes of its in-universe audience. This happens pretty often in i7 (for example, when we see the groups talk to their fans during concerts), and generally the line between the real fans and the fictional ones can get pretty blurred (which deserves its own much longer analysis but I Am Not Writing All That), so everything with the in-universe audience here kind of naturally extends to us as the real audience. The TCG would probably be easy enough to manufacture with special effects as long as Riku and the driver guy were in on it, and it would make sense for the Friends Day producers to include it to keep things entertaining and be a stand-in for their viewers/fans of the idol groups - the ghost is specifically a female fan of male idols (Zero), and a lot of her interactions with the cast would qualify as self-insert material (e.g. Tenn singing for her and Riku looking directly into the camera to smile at her). And speaking of Tenn and Riku,
1.2 The TCG is Nanase twins angst
I think this connection is fairly obvious in their exchange here. You could make a case for the ghost representing either one of the twins. Like Riku, she's being pushed away by Tenn before she's ready to leave, told that it's necessary and for the best that they stay separated - after all, they live in different worlds. Like Tenn, she's leaving despite Riku's protests and part of her not really wanting to go at first, because she believes it's for the best that they stay separated - after all, they live in different worlds.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's also the association with ghosts of being ignored/invisible, and Riku being the only person able to see or talk to her. Maybe it's because he's the only one who's able to reach her. Maybe he can see her because he understands her on some level - she was torn away from life like he was torn away from his brother, and she's now practically invisible to everyone else around her, like Riku probably feels to Tenn (and arguably the rest of his family in some ways). Maybe he wants her to feel seen, and he can make Tenn acknowledge her in the way he wants to be acknowledged by him. I might actually be going somewhere with this so bear with me for a second.
1.3: The TCG is monster Riku foreshadowing
So my first thought when I watched the Nanase twin angst portion of this episode was 'well obviously the ghost isn't real and Riku is just using it to talk to Tenn indirectly' because they are always having indirect conversations like this and it makes me insane, and I do still think that's the idea here, just not quite in the sense that Riku is making things up. Going back to the whole 'ghost is a stand-in for the audience' thing, and assuming that she's saying the things that Riku wants to say and Tenn is telling her the things he wants to tell Riku, then we could say that rather than Riku purposefully having the ghost speak for him, this is an extension of the monster effect. I guess in this scenario the TCG is a real ghost (and a figurative representation of the audience), and Riku is having the same effect on her that Iori says he has on everyone else. He unknowingly projects his desire to connect with his brother onto her, and she tries to help him. Really, the only times we see her after she follows the shopping group to their cabin are when she's helping Riku, with the test of courage and then with speaking to Tenn. This gets convoluted so I kinda doubt it's intentional? But it's fun to think about.
1.4: The TCG is the friends we made along the way
Tumblr media
Riku spells this out a bit more explicitly in the game here, but the TCG represents the each of the groups in the series in a couple different ways. I guess one way you could interpret this is that the ghost is meant to be there to emphasise how extraordinary it is that they're all together, but I don't think that really holds up considering how often they end up working with each other throughout the series anyway. What's important here is the idea of the ghost itself, something that can be present and felt even when it isn't physically or actually there. Again, the ghost is the audience - a constant influence for better and for worse on these idols even when they aren't watching, even in their personal lives; and vice versa, the ghost is the idols being able to reach their fans without ever actually knowing them. More relevant to what Riku says, the ghost is the groups to each other - friends, mentors, rivals, pushing them forward even when they aren't standing side by side. You could even say the ghost is ZOOL, friends who aren't here right now but will be someday. Re:vale and Idolish7 as groups don't especially fit the ghost description, but they have their fair share of ghosts - Banri, Haruki, Tenn, Aya, Sougo's uncle. Zero. The list goes on, for Trigger and ZOOL as well, but I think the most important way the ghost analogy applies to this section of the story is with Trigger. Because during the imminent Arc Where Trigger Gets Cancelled™, despite leaving their agency and disappearing almost entirely from the public eye, they're still very much there to their fans and to their friends. So. I kinda forgot what I was saying but to sum it all up the ghost here represents everything that stays with you even when it's far away or after it's gone from your life. Mikanseinabokura and all that. And now that I mention it-
Section 2: The Re:vale House Ghost
Once again, a warning that this section has a brief mention of self-harm, as well as in-depth discussions of depression, suicide and suicidal ideation (which I'm gonna be talking about pretty bluntly the entire time), so please don't proceed unless you're comfortable with all of that!
Like most things in Re:member, the RHG (Re:vale house ghost) makes me insane. Today I am going to attempt to form coherent thoughts about it and it is unlikely that I'll succeed, but try to bear with me. Though it isn't around for as long as the TCG, we have a little more info about the RHG - it's the ghost that haunts the shitty apartment Yuki and Momo live in together in their early days as Re:vale. Supposedly. All it actually does is slam the door of one kitchen cabinet and I don't think that this is definitive evidence of paranormal activity because most houses are just like that. It's all a little bit vague, but according to Re:vale, their house is definitely haunted by the ghost of someone who died in the kitchen, because when they move in there is a mysterious black stain on their kitchen floor. Momo introduces himself to the floor stain while Yuki stares at him in awe and blushes and shoujo filter flowers appear in his eyes. God I hate them. I think the RHG is just a figment of their collective imagination or maybe they're having one of those shared delusions or something. But that's really besides the point because this ghost exists for one very specific thematic purpose: the RHG is Yuki.
And on that note, let's go back and talk about Yuki for a few minutes (potentially hours) before we get to our actual analysis of the ghost scene. Mostly because I just wanna talk about him, but also because I do understand why some people think the 'Momo starts talking to ghosts' part of Re:member is kinda weird and random, and I think at least some of this is important to go over before we unpack it.
A consensus has already been established among Yuki scholars that our subject has autism (Kei et al. 2024). Today, I would like to propose an additional diagnosis: Yuki has depression.
2.1: "I lost my dreams, friends, and passion as well."
So, Yuki pretty clearly gets depressed when Ban leaves him. He loses interest in everything he used to care about, gives up on his dreams, blames himself for Ban's injury and disappearance, he's constantly sad, tired and irritable, and he lashes out at Momo (and Kujou, though there are some other pretty strong reasons for that one) and presumably everyone else he knows (I doubt he had a particularly good relationship with anyone else in the first place, but still).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's grieving here, and it would make sense for him to react this way because of that fact alone. But I really don't think that's all there is to it, because he exhibits these symptoms (among others) long before Ban leaves him. He can't get out of bed in the mornings, he rarely leaves the house if he can avoid it, he has days where he can't eat or sleep, he's underweight and always tired and generally known to lack energy and be slow (or 'lazy') and in some cases listless and despondent. Ban even says that he wouldn't put it past Yuki to start slitting his wrists. And it's subtle, but there's one more really big one that really never goes away for him, even after he finds Ban.
2.2: "I don't need anyone to love me."
I'll get straight to the point. Yuki hates himself. Maybe only a little bit, maybe only sometimes, but it's there. Especially when he struggles with composing - he even says it himself in part 1 of his birthday photobook rabbit chat, almost immediately after saying that it made him want to kill himself but we'll get back to that part.
Tumblr media
But it's really everywhere on what seems to be a mostly subconscious level for him, if you know how to look, even from the very beginning:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On paper, this line is just his frustration with being judged by anything other than his music, because it's something he cares a lot about and puts a lot of work into and he wants that to be acknowledged. But I think that if you take it in conjunction with some of the other things he tends to say, there's a little bit more to it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I dont need anyone to love me. Yuki's songs are worthy of love. Yuki is not. There is nothing valuable about Yuki other than his songs, he has nothing else that deserves any sort of praise, and without them, he's just a useless burden with nothing to offer. He doesn't need anyone to love him - he doesn't understand why anyone would. And Momo does, and he's a good person, and Yuki doesn't deserve that when there's nothing he can actually do for him. And when that starts to change and he starts getting better at showing kindness to others and being there for Momo, he doesn't see it as learning to better express his feelings, he sees is as learning to feel affection and be a good person, because he believes that he is inherently not. As far as he can tell, Yuki is just naturally a bad person and a bad partner who isn't kind and isn't capable of love or compassion, not unless he tries to be. He knows, because he's heard it god knows how many times - even Chiba Shizuo blatantly tells him that neither of them can become good people - and maybe things are different now, but on some basic level it'll always be who he is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok breaking character for a second, imagine you show up to your acting side gig and on the first day Keanu Reeves comes up to you and gives you $300 cash and then later he indirectly tells you that you're a nasty lonely egotistical failure. Now imagine you're Yuki and you have no fucking clue who Keanu Reeves is. He also shows you pictures of his top secret illegitimate son after talking to you for like 10 minutes and you have to lie to him about being straight. I think this is objectively the funniest situation to be in ever. Chiba Shizuo and Yamato both probably have depression also, but I'm not gonna spend any time on it, because every three months a person is torn to pieces by a crocodile in Northern Queensland. I forgot what I was talking about. Anyway
2.3: Hey remember that one time Yuki just straight up tried to kill himself
Tumblr media
Yeah, that one. As far as I know this is really never addressed or acknowledged again, so we're just gonna take the page-long gag from Re:member at face value and say that after Ban's disappearance, Yuki (almost) attempted suicide, and the only reason he didn't go through with it is because he couldn't find anywhere to hang the noose. And like, yeah you could say it's just because he thought Ban might have killed himself and he's always been the kind of hopeless romantic to be waxing poetic about how "I can't live without you," but at the same time, he had no apparent reason to believe this (even if Ban did have suicidal tendencies I doubt Yuki would've really known), and he was planning to go through with it (I know it's probably just for comedic effect but he left a will. He left a will. He's, like, 20, and surely not the kind of person who would just have something like that in order already). This is also emphatically not the last time or the only reason he thinks about it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I told you we'd get back to the photobook chat! I think there's also a lot you can infer from all the times he says he'd probably be dead by now without Momo and he wouldn't be able to handle losing him, what with the whole "when you jump, you'd better take me with you" thing. But regardless, this really isn't just that one time that Yuki tried to kill himself. It's suicidal ideation, and it's something he consistently struggles with especially in the few months after Ban leaves him. It even comes up in how he sees the 'paranormal activity' his new apartment:
2.4: "It seemed as though someone had hung themselves there."
Yeah it's the ghost I'm finally gonna talk about the ghost. I'm done with my Yuki has depression rant we can talk about why the ghost is Yuki now. I guess it might be more accurate to say that the ghost is Yuki's depression/suicidal thoughts/Banri trauma/whatever, but either way I think it represents him and he might also be semi-consciously projecting onto it, and I'm gonna go through line-by-line and try to explain my interpretation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think if you want to there's definitely room to take the 'usual paranormal activity' super literally and say that Yuki was having outbursts and slamming doors at the time (which would also match up with him being startled by it). I think it's also important to note that this is happening around the time he mentions feeling suicidal and not being able to compose in the photobook chat, but the main thing here is that second line. Even though Momo is always so nice to him, he can't stop himself from getting mad and being difficult and depressed, and he can't return that kindness - he can't even be useful to him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've already mentioned how I think Yuki's conclusion about the stain here plays into his suicidal ideation, but let's look at it a little more thematically. It's the way that even though it's glossed over earlier in the manga, Yuki's suicide attempt and everything that accompanied it still follows him, and it hangs (lol) heavy in their house like a ghost. To Yuki, it's startling and eerie - it scares him, and he's expecting it to scare Momo once he sees that side of him too. And it probably does scare him a little, and he hesitates, but he doesn't scream. Again, there's room to interpret this more literally as Momo finding out about his attempt/ideation/depression, or just as him inevitably seeing how he gets on his worse days, but either way the outcome is the same. Momo is starting to know Yuki as a person instead of an idol, flaws and probable mental illness and all, and his first reaction isn't to shy away or start to hate him or want to leave. It's an introduction. He makes it clear that they'll both be staying here from now on, that he's willing to live with the 'darker' sides of Yuki, and to help him do the same. Another point on this that's up to interpretation (because let's be real they're probably never gonna deal with this stuff explicitly in canon), you could see the whole ghost thing as neither of them really being able/wanting to accept that Yuki's symptoms are actually a part of him (and this is veering completely into fanfic territory but now I'm just imagining both of them silently agreeing to blame the things Yuki does on bad days on the ghost) but we've had enough angst for one day.
Tumblr media
Everything else lines up well enough with the ghost and Yuki, but it's really his reaction here that sells the whole thing for me. It's a simple gesture, but just by Momo greeting him, being by his side, waiting for him when he comes home, that constant reminder of all his darkest thoughts becomes just another mark on the floorboards. It's not gone, and it probably never will be. But at least now, he doesn't have to face it alone. And it doesn't look so scary anymore.
2.5: "Now I know joy, and the meaning of a smile."
I must confess that I lied to all of you earlier. I'm actually not done with my Yuki rant and also there's a good reason I've been ignoring all the parts of Re:member where he isn't being self-deprecating or trying to kill himself. The end of the ghost scene is only the beginning of the end of this analysis, and the end of this analysis is pretty much just me having a meltdown about Yuki. Also I'm running out of space for images so we're doing some of the quotes like this instead.
After losing Ban, I lost my dreams, friends, and passion as well. I could only feel a sting as the wind passed through an empty, gaping hole in my chest. But I breathed as best as I could, and he tried to clear the dirt out of that hole, filling it with his earnest words instead.
Yuki still exhibits a lot of symptoms of depression all the way through the series, like the low energy and the trouble eating and sleeping, and [redacted part 5 spoilers] makes me think there's definitely some sort of connection between his writers' block and his depressive episodes. He still mentions feeling guilty towards Banri in second beat, the suicidal ideation doesn't really come up explicitly but he kinda hints at it on a few occassions, and he's very adament that he was a bad person and still isn't really a good one. But it's like. I don't really know how to put this, but I guess it's not his default state anymore like it was right after Ban left (and possibly before that, too). For the most part, he really does get better, and these things become less intense and fewer and farther between. He would probably say that it's all thanks to Momo, and it is, but he also very much does it of his own volition. Momo refuses so desperately to give up on him, and because of that he makes that choice to keep going by restarting Re:vale with him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuki allows himself to let someone else in and start to love again - his partner, his music, his life. Even while he's thinking that he's just a burden to those around him, he doesn't resign himself to his fate like he might have done in the past. He's determined to become a better person, someone who can be a source of strength for Momo just like he was for him. And in the end, he does, but it's not just that. Now he knows joy. Now he can genuinely smile. And now,
I want to hear them scream my name. The voices that called out had annoyed me in the past. But now, I'll smile, together with Momo, who'll be by my side.
Going back to what I said about some of Yuki's subconscious self-hatred coming through in the way he wants people to look at his music and not at him, I. Cannot finish a sentence. Do NOT think about Yuki learning to love himself and see himself as worthy of love because Momo loved him just that much in a way that he could accept. BAD IDEA. Okay. So. It's Ban's advice and Momo's fan letter that get Yuki to accept that his fans do genuinely love his music in the first place, and I think it's here that it really starts to turn into him accepting the idea that they love other things about him too? Or that he really starts to want it and be happy about it instead of just accepting it? Whatever. I give up. I don't even like Re:vale anyway
That day, I would play the guitar I'd almost thrown at Kujou, because I now knew the power of a song that could not be silenced. I would dry my tears, open the door, and say, "I'm home."

*JJK LEAK SPOILERS, please ignore if you haven't seen them*
THE QUEEN IS BACK
I have seen the leaks and chapter translation and while yes the queen is back (I do have some concerns and problems with the way gege executed this)
It makes sense for nobara to come back and we have been teased from the begining that there was a clear chance that she could come back ever since she died. Nitta says that while she died and doesn't have a heartbeat she very much could be revived if she got help in time (and he literally suspended her condition at the moment)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The problem is that it took gege a really long time to actually bring her back or imply that she is alive, approximately 4 years and a 100+ chapters for her to come back.
Chapter 144 and chapter 210 were from yuji's perspective who didn't know nobara's fate and we never got actual confirmation of her fate (all we got was yuji missing her) in asking about her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are good moments in my opinion that definitely adds uncertainty and show how nobara's "death" has effected characters like yuji and even megumi (a bit).
However, the problem comes in from other characters. Were they aware of nobara's fate? Is that why they didn't comment on anything? Is that why we never saw maki's reaction to nobara's death? Or is that why we never saw Gojo ask about nobara after he escaped the prison realm? Or is that why we don't see much of the second years reactions about her in general? Is that why we never see yuji say her last words to others? In all honesty I can't help but almost feel like gege may of forgotten about nobara (and just brought her back because he remembered her and she is a fan favourite just like he did with Todo)
Tumblr media
I have talked about the wasted potential of nobara's character here and the direction I think would of been suitable for her character.
I think we should of gotten more hints about nobara coming back and being alive in the manga (Iam aware some may say we have gotten clues but they're all in arts and not inside the manga) heck i think we should of gotten confirmation that she was alive and working in the background while the others thought that she was dead (I love a bit of dramatic irony within the story and it definitely adds stakes without having anyone dead)
Other than that I really enjoyed her first appearance around the characters specifically what she said to itadori and how it's a clear reference to when itadori first died and came back. I also enjoy the fact that we are getting to see her back and using her cursed technique however, i still hate the fact that she miraculously woke up 30 minutes ago when the plot needed her most (it would of been better if she woke up and went back to her home town found out something about her CT and done more self digging then came back to help with the fight after seeing mei mei recording it)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly, my biggest worry is how gege is going to handle her character development (theres only 4 chapters left ) and tie in the loose ends like the thing about Jujutsu society hating women with scars and how nobara did value her beauty (jjk could very much delve into the insecurities she may have or her actually going back on the things momo told her and learning a lot more about intersectionality feminism instead of the girl boss one that she displayed earlier on in the story) I also think it would be interesting to handle nobara maybe feeling left out like shoko in her trio (and how that cycle might change)

i see ur a momo and toga friends/knew e/o in middle school fan too….. do u have any Thoughts on postcanon redeemed toga (w/ ochako. Ofc. yuri wins.) meeting momo again….
I actually think about Ochako introducing Toga to her friends (specifically the 1-A girls) a LOT lol
so firstly! I don't think Toga and Momo were bffs or anything in middle school, kinda just like friends-in-law? Plus, their families were acquainted. The middle school toga friendship circle looks like this in my head:
Tumblr media
tho they definitely giggled together at lunch enough times that when Toga attacked their classmate and became a villain, Momo was shook abt the whole thing.
so Momo NEVER talks about knowing Toga to her friends (except to Jirou ofc yuri wins.) and Ochako literally has no idea until she sees an old photo of them together and starts to make her evil plan.
Ochako invites them both over for something (maybe a mall trip idk) and when Momo shows up, Ochako is ready w her former terrorist girlfriend :D
AND IT'S SO AWKWARD LIKE IT'S THE WORSE THING EVER bc Momo has been experiencing so many weird and complicated feelings about the whole thing and Toga still doesn't really wanna confront things about her past.
Toga is cordial for Ochako's sake and Momo is cordial for her sanity's sake, but it's still super tense and Ochako decides to abandon the two for half an hour so they can sort it all out.
the confrontation goes from weird air, no words spoken → steadily more passive aggressive remarks → full out arguing and fighting in the middle of the mall
I'd imagine Toga says something about how Momo would never know what it's like being someone like her (perfect, pretty, honorable, likable, normal girl) and that makes Momo pause for second and she begins to ACTUALLY think about how Toga acted when they went to school together + how her parents treated her.
Then they start to open up and have a good long convo about everything (Toga's family, Momo's insecurity, being "normal", etc) and maybe Momo even tells Toga what's going on w the rest of her old friends.
Ochako comes back to retrieve her ankle monitor girlfriend and Jirou comes to drive Momo back home and idk maybe they hug it out or smth.
just know at the end of things, they're nearly friends and definitely have a better understanding of each other than they did in middle school ♥️

:ఌ¨ ♱ MHA POLY RELATIONSHIP HCS
☆ pairings : Kyoka Jirou x Denki Kaminari x gn!Reader x Momo Yaoyorozu
☆ tags : fluff, sfw, poly headcanons, gn!reader, poly jirou, poly momo, poly denki, wholesome, poly relationship, implied spoilers(?), bi relationship
☆ relationship summary : all four of you are dating each other! (kamimomo, momojirou, kamijirou)

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You would definitely end up in their band somehow, depends if you play or not. If you did join, they would all be so happy!
Jirou especially.
If you didn't want to join, they would have you watch them practice, and count on you to give them criticism.
Study sessions!!
All held by Yaomomo, you guys would all study together. Depending on your grades, you would either assist Yaomomo, or be as confused as Jirou and Denki.
Yaomomo and Jirou are pretty quiet people, so others wouldn't know about your relationship. At least, from them.
Denki, on the other hand, brags about his relationship with you three. He's always praising you all! He never misses a chance to tell someone how awesome his partners are.
Jirou would write songs about you guys, if you're lucky, she'd play some for you. She uses music to express herself, so she resorts to that when she's feeling flustered.
Yaomomo would write poems, or letters. I can see her doing both. She has a whole journal of poems for you guys, each of you have specific ones and some are even about all three of you.
They all have different ways of loving you and eachother, it's never boring between you guys.
Yaomomo is constantly out buying gifts for you all. If she hears you like something, or want something even once, she buys it.
Jirou prefers quality time over anything, she loves to hang out with you guys. Even one on one. Sometimes she may be scared to ask, other times she'll be inviting you to all sorts of places.
Denki resorts to words of affirmation and physical touch a lot. He's constantly praising you three no matter what you do! You guys are just so amazing to him! On other occasions, he'll cling onto you very subtly. When you guys hang out, he'd find a way to be close to one of you somehow.
You guys would all cuddle on Yaomomo's bed. It's insanely huge, so it would manage to fit all four of you.
Jirou and Yaomomo sleep peacefully while Denki is all over the place.
He would wake up in the most randomest positions. Sometimes, one of you would somehow end up off the bed.
It happened so many times that when you ended up on the floor again, he had to be tied to the bed. Or in the middle of you guys, just somehow contained.
Your quirks all manage to work really well together, which makes you guys a really good team.
You guys are usually paired up somehow, all four, two and two, three and one (if one of you isn't available).
There's never distance between you guys!
They make sure you guys are included somehow, but it's usually rare any of you don't feel involved. Everything is so natural with you guys that jealousy and possessiveness almost never happens.
And if they're is, it's very small. It ends up getting resolved quickly.
Jirou usually is slightly possessive, equally for you all. She'll cling onto you guys slightly or even try to get one of your attention on her.
Denki can be slightly jealous sometimes. He would immediately come to one of you!
Yaomomo can be both, for a good reason. It's rare for her to feel this way, unless she feels it's a genuine threat with one of you.
Denki is insanely flirty. He always manages to get everyone flustered!
He's also always joking, it's never boring with him around. Jirou always laughs at his jokes even if they aren't funny, and Yaomomo smiles softly to herself. You usually joke with him or laugh at him!
Jirou usually takes you guys to concerts, Yaomomo prefers more quiet things like picnics, and Denki loves amusement parks!
Because of Yaomomo, you guys always manage to have time for each other.
Dates, hangouts, etc. are usually managed by her.
Yaomomo is very good at communicating.
Denki is amazing at cheering people up.
Jirou is wonderful at comforting.
Each of you balances each other out.
Overall, the four of you would be so cute! There's never any issues, and you all are always having fun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆ new series I thought of that I think will be fun. I don't see a lot of poly hcs, especially for mha, so I wanted to be the one to write them. If you want to request a ship x reader, send an ask or comment/reblog ^^ !! ☆

Alcohol consumption HCs - Class 1-A + Shinso and Aizawa
Aight, ya girl has been tempted into talking about luxury adult items and class 1-A - specifically alcohol uwu Inspired by that one art by Hiroshiki's assistant (twitter link)
Tags: alcohol consumption, grown up class 1-A (18+) Word count: 1,1k
Note: Heavyweight scale - 1/10 = very lightweight; 10/10 = very heavyweight
Tumblr media
Yuga won't pass up on the chance to have anything sparkly and glamorous - any shiny and colorful cocktail won't be at odds in his hand during outings. Designated barman during stay-at-home parties, just make sure he has enough embellishment ingredients. 7/10 on heavyweight scale
Mina loves ciders - dry, sweet, and anything in between. What do you mean they are a 'girly drink'? I'd like to see you outdrink her when ciders are involved... She also doesn't refuse a good cocktail if offered. 8/10 on heavyweight scale
Tsuyu can't handle much alcohol, she only ever drinks really low % liquors that are more syrup than alcohol or indulges in virgin cocktails. Dislikes the taste of beer. 2/10 on heavyweight scale
Tenya doesn't drink. He's the designated driver (you'd be surprised how many people can pile up in his car... if the police catch him with overfull car he was held at gunpoint, officer :(( ). He likes a cup of warm sake to share with his brother every now and then though. 3/10 on heavyweight scale
Ochako is the heavyweight of the group. She can put a LOT of that stuff away and STILL stand... She likes cocktails, but more of the type that has lots of different alcohols mixed in (I can say it... Long Island Ice Tea or Oolong Tea). She only seldom enjoys it though, still in her "have to save up money" mindset due to her upbringing. 10/10 on heavyweight scale, don't challenge her to a drinking game
Mashirao likes 'manly' drinks - usually sticking with beer, whisky/bourbon or rum. He's more in it for the company than the alcohol though he won't turn down a good Old Fashioned or Godfather. 8/10 on heavyweight scale
Denki loves those extra fruity cocktails, more sugar than alcohol but they do creep up on you - and do they creep up on him... Man's drunk by the end of the night at every party. 5/10 on heavyweight scale
Eijiro thinks it's manly to be honest about one's self. He's not afraid to admit he likes the taste of alcohol but it also puts him in a depressive mood. He usually keeps with low % alcoholic beverages, mostly wine (with Momo) or beer (with Izuku). 5/10 on heavyweight scale, doesn't drink much
Koji doesn't like the taste of alcohol and usually joins Tsuyu and/or Katsuki in their sober camp. Doesn't have a number on lightweight scale because he tasted liquor once and hated it with passion (stuttered his way out of drinking it)
Rikido can't drink alcohol. He technically can but only if Izuku or Katsuki are chaperoning and they're at home because the last time he drank outside, he started a bar fight and nearly got his hero license taken away (alcohol has lots of sugars which fuels his quirk). 1/10 on heavyweight scale, he's staying away from alcohol (drinks non-sugary drinks)
Mezo can spot a good rum a mile away. He loves to taste rums he hasn't tried before but also loves to enjoy his go-to aged rum collection. He was crowned the Mob Boss of Class A. 10/10 on heavyweight scale but drinks for the taste (not to get drunk)
Kyoka likes gin - whether by itself or with tonic - and is a bit of a snob about it. Only drinks if there is a brand of gin she likes, otherwise can be found drinking cola (or cola-adjacent drink). 7/10 on heavyweight scale
Hanta usually goes for whisky or bourbon. Enjoys the full taste and smokiness. Isn't picky about it. If you dislike your hard liquor drink, he'll finish it and like it too. 6/10 on heavyweight scale
Fumikage wants to love smoky whisky so bad but he dislikes the taste so much - do you see his anguish? His misery? He's the victim of recognizing culture but not being able to partake in it :(( On another note, he's good with rum or rum-adjacent liquor. 9/10 on heavyweight scale
Shoto tries really hard to like sake and soju (mostly because his father can't drink [a lie, that man just hates sake and soju]) but he hates them (shut up, it's not a trait from his father!) so he usually joins Kaminari and Yuga in Fruity Cocktail Camp. 3/10 on heavyweight scale, don't let this man have more than two cocktails or you will find him crying over cat videos
Toru is a jack of all trades, she keeps a rotation on the Camps to chat with everyone. The only drink she dislikes is wine because her stomach can't handle it. You need to put a tracker on her too because if she gets drunk, she likes to 'practice stealth' and you won't know where she ran off to. 6/10 on heavyweight scale, her drunken mischief depends on which Camp she's at for the evening
Katsuki can't drink alcohol. It makes him sick and pass out as it cancels out his immunity to the side effects of his nitroglycerin-like sweat. Alcohol mixing with his sweat in his glands create a toxic mixture. He does however enjoy virgin cocktails. Doesn't have a number on lightweight scale
Izuku likes beer of the japanese variety - if he sits down with everyone, you can find him with a bottle/glass of Asahi most of the time. 4/10 on heavyweight scale, he sips on one or two beers per evening at maximum
Minoru likes to act all cool and mysterious, and if he wasn't that short, he would actually achieve it. He's ridiculously lightweight but he can last longer by popping off his hair balls. You can find him in the Mob Camp of whisky and rum drinkers. 3/10 on heavyweight scale
Momo is a rich girl through and through. She likes high quality (and expensive) wine, but she was also dared to drink herbal liquor before and said it wasn't bad. She's usually a bring-your-own at parties and bars see her drinking virgin cocktails. 6/10 on heavyweight scale
+
Hitoshi likes staying sober (he's lightweight). No shut up, he just likes juice, okay? (everyone bands against him and mix in vodka) Why does it taste funny? (he's under the table now, gods damn it) 2/10 on heavyweight scale, another usual designated driver
Shota hides his sweet tooth pretty well (a lie - everyone can see him knocking back those jelly pouches every day) so everyone is surprised (another lie) when they see him nursing a tiki cocktail. If you see him sipping on one, no you didn't and also no one would believe you. 7/10 on heavyweight scale

Sokka's Master
pleasebegoodpleasebegoodpleasebegoodpleasebegoodpleasebegood
Tumblr media
Strange choice of master but we'll see where this goes.
The meteor shower animation is quite meditative. I wouldn't mind it as a screensaver.
How to describe something exceptional to your blind friend: "You've never not seen anything like this." It's amazing the quality put into even the tiniest of throwaway jokes.
Tumblr media
Are meteor strikes flammable?
Tumblr media
I love how whenever Sokka's disappointed he gets noodle arms. A surprisingly consistent characterisation.
Momo butt skate.
Iroh. The fuck?
ok. So he's playing a part for the guards. Why?
Tumblr media
Pretty.
Funny to think about, but as a former WWE character, Toph's probably had more hero worship than the Avatar.
Tumblr media
Lots to say about this! First, I stand corrected! i honestly thought that Sokka would be immune to this specific insecurity by virtue of him not being a bender. I was wrong! Second, I love how, as soon as Sokka expresses that he feels that he isn't as talented as the rest of them, the others respond by listing his actual, invaluable talents, without which the group would be completely at sea. They don't respond with "no you're perfect!" they respond with "no one can read a map like you can" and how he keeps their spirits up with jokes. They're not using false praise. They are using specific facts. I love that an episode that looks like it's going to deal with a character feeling down on themselves establishes from the get go that the character is invaluable, actually. So often, the 'low self esteem stock episode' puts the affirmation of the character's value at the end. Which means the viewer spends the whole episode being convinced that the character in question might actually be useless. Here, we're told from the start that the character is invaluable - the problem is that they do not perceive themselves to be so. Quite on the nose for a show that deals so much with identity.
Tumblr media
OMIGOD IT GETS BETTER!!!!!!!!!!
Validating Katara sweeps in and a) validates his feelings, while b) clearly explaining that his self-perception is not in line with how the others see him, which c) doesn't invalidate a) !!!!
Katara has such emotional intelligence when she chooses to use it.
Nuanced intelligent discussion of the complexities of emotions and self-perception in a Sokka episode I am so happy I am blessed the gods are shining on me today I'm sitting here twirling my hair and swinging my feet and doodling hearts on the corner of my journal
Tumblr media
SHOPPING!!!!!
btw that's the same face he makes when he says SUKI!!!
"Reinvigorate my battling" this boy. just. this boy.
Tumblr media
He lasted a lot longer than I would have with nun chucks.
Tumblr media
Aang the Happy Meal toy.
Some say that Halberd is still spinning today.
Tumblr media
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present: the 45 degree Sokka.
Some Foley artist had the time of their life with this weapons sequence.
Tumblr media
Why thank you for that exposition, Mr. Exposition. Now walk away and we'll never see you again.
Tumblr media
Toph does NOT move ONCE this whole scene and it's ever so slightly freaking me out.
Toph tells you she learned from Badgermoles and no one wants to discuss this further?!? We're going to gloss over that?
So this episode has a training montage theme.
Sokka goes freestyle on those door knockers.
That's one hell of a castle. Must be dark in there though. Tiny windows.
Tumblr media
Which explains the several hundred candles. This show. Set up with one hand; slam dunk with the other.
Tumblr media
This guy's reciting Sokka's s1 introduction on Kyoshi Island.
Sokka: Actually. I am a dumb. The Master: Sold.
Tumblr media
The face of someone who is definitely picking up what you're putting down.
It's been ages since I watched the episode, but is some of what the Master saying here about swords an echo of what Zuko says to the kid in Zuko Alone when he's decapitating sunflowers?
Tumblr media
A Sokka-less Gaang. Depressing and they know it.
The way Katara's voice actor says "oh everyone's a critic" is gold.
Multidisciplinary education vs. kid who's never been within a mile of the box he's being told to think outside of. Fight!
Yikes that was a meaty hit. Does Sokka have a nose left?
They're wearing beehives on their heads.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Was Sokka always this short?
Tumblr media
The greens in this episode are such a delight.
The way he says "I'm finished!" Sounds like "Am finished" and you can actually hear the smiley emoji he throws in.
Tumblr media
He's good.
Tumblr media
What do they FEED him?
Sokka's voice actor had a great time this episode. All the voice actors had a great time actually.
Sokka invents the La Z Boy
Katara inadvertently invents a fandom war by attempting a joke.
Tumblr media
They're all so useless and it's wonderful.
That was all only one day? That's a lot of outfit changes for one day.
"You mess things up in a very special way." Compliment? Let's go with compliment.
Tumblr media
Sokka is so very Sokka this episode.
Tumblr media
A reason to live is coming!
Tumblr media
*thundering herds of shippers in the distance*
That's clever. The inciting incident gets smelted. Haven't seen that before.
This whole Iroh gets buff montage has been completely dialogue free on Iroh's part. Crazy levels of inner peace, that he'd doesn't need to snark back at the guard.
Tumblr media
Seriously. What are they FEEDING these children. Also how is that door that shiny.
Sokka really has it in for those door knockers.
Apropos of nothing, the clouds in this episode are all so yummy. All these soft slate colours and misty layers.
Meteoric iron is actually a thing, right?
Ok but aren't mold made swords crappy?
Tumblr media
HI YUE
I love how they managed to made a crafting montage where the character who does the least work is the one who looks like he's working the hardest.
"I saw a heart as strong as my garden decor"
"No it certainly wasn't your skills. You had none."
Creativity, versatility, intelligence, meat, sarcasm.
You've known him like two days and you can already tell he's more worthy than any man you've ever trained? Sounds like you had poor taste in students.
"No. This is my fight. Alone." Bro you are going to DIE. The first time you held a sword was two days ago. You might need the avatar on this one.
Tumblr media
Guard who never shuts up actually kind of has a point here. He's a dick about as usual, but it's entirely possible that the rank and file of the Fire Nation army view Iroh's actions as a betrayal. Does anyone remember in Star Wars movie number 7, or maybe 8, when that Trooper sees Finn after he's switched sides and yells "traitor!" and it's the best part of the movie? Yeah, like that.
This episode throws the concept of linear time out the window. In two days, Iroh gets swole and Sokka masters sword fighting.
Do you think Sokka's realised yet that this is his final exam?
Tumblr media
Yummy yummy clouds.
One in a million pocket sand shot.
Tumblr media
One in a million stick placement.
So this master is like a sword spirit or something. He can't be human. There's no way he could get the scabbard to fly on perfectly without seeing.
"Try Lee, There's a million Lees. There's a tea shop in Ba Sing Se that has a super cranky waiter called Lee."
This guy's just this side of committing treason and I love it.
I see this Master is a devotee of the 'Hakoda school of shoving outrageously over the top compliments into Sokka's thick skull in the hopes that 1% of them will stick.' I approve.
This last scene has gorgeous hills and skies but you'll have to take my word for it because I've hit the image limit.
Sokka's been inducted into the super secret boy band!!!
He saved space earth for Toph! He's so considerate! He's fuelling the ships!
Let's compromise and call it space dirt instead.
Final Thoughts
This episode every two minutes: Sokka, you are currently flawless and you're about to get better. Me: Yes. Yep. Yeah. Seconded. I concur.
I like it! It's great! It's 24 minutes of the writers and characters fangirling over Sokka! Of course I like it! It made me criminally overuse exclamation marks! What else can I say?
Hands down my favourite episode is Bato of the Water Tribe. For Sokka's story, this episode is Bato of the Water Tribe part 2. Of course I'm going to love it. This episode was lab grown specifically for me.
Now let's see if I can say something about this episode that isn't poorly disguised squealing.
I love how the characters respond to Sokka saying he's not special with an evidence-based refutation rather than blanket reassurance.
I love how shopping cheers up Sokka. I love how Katara knows that shopping will cheer him up. This must be something she's learned since the show started. I don't think there were malls in the South Pole. So Katara was paying attention when Sokka and Momo went through the bag saga.
I love how much the master is baffled yet impressed by Sokka. He seems almost charmed by this breath of fresh air. I think it's hilarious that, when Sokka first approaches him, he's expecting early season 1 Sokka. He'd better send Suki a thank you card.
I also really like "The way of the sword doesn't belong to any one nation." It seems obvious to us, but in a world where there are weaponisable skills that are quite literally inseparable from the nations their wielders inhabit, it's probably something no one in the Gaang has ever heard before.
Obviously the episode is a little rushed - half hour kid's show and all that - but it's still pretty crazy that you can apparently impart a solid basic knowledge of swordplay in two days.
Toph going all tsundere is funny, and makes Aang and Katara unapologetically desperate for Sokka's company twice as funny as it already is. Toph's like "whatever" and the other two spent the day making a welcome home banner.
I love how Sokka's happiness is always so loud and shameless. It makes it contagious.
This episode highlights what Sokka's actual strengths are, by instructing him in what he thinks his strengths are. If that makes sense? Sokka is brain, which he's finally starting to realise by attending brawn lessons.
He's also heart, and I'll die on that hill.
Iroh getting swole was honestly just a thing that happened. No comment really, except it was interesting to have a reminder from the guard that a character we perceive as the good guy is currently perceived as the bad guy by everyone but us. When the Fire Nation does inevitably get defeated, a whole nation is going to have to reset their worldview and that will not be an easy process.
More like this please!

Re:vale - 2D☆STAR Vol.5 interview
Tumblr media
Please note that I am not a professional translator and I'm only doing this to share the side materials to those who cannot access them, if you notice any mistakes please let me know nicely. Enjoy!
This magazine has been released in November 2016 aka before part 3!
Interviewer: Thank you so much for your hard work with the shooting and outfit change! Pleased to work with you for this interview.
Interviewer: It's been a little while, but congratulations on the success of your 5th anniversary live performance at the Zero Arena inaugural event!
Momo: Thank you very much!
Yuki: Thank you.
Interviewer: Your live concert was very exciting. Could you please share your honest thoughts?
Yuki: It was our honor as Re:vale to be chosen to perform in such a special place like Zero Arena.
Yuki: I'm grateful to all the staff who worked hard to make the show a success, to TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7 for their support and their performances, and to all the fans who came to see us.
Yuki: I’m sincerely glad that Momo and I worked so hard together.
Yuki: Right, Momo?
Momo: Yeah!
Momo: I'm really grateful too! I want to thank each and every one of them as loudly as I can!
Yuki: We’re also glad we were able to cover a Zero song as planned.
Momo: And the exclusive one-night shuffle units with TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7 were super exciting too!
Interviewer: Speaking of TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7, they did perform a medley of Re:vale songs, how did you decide on that?
Momo: Actually they didn’t inform us about that, it was a complete surprise!
Yuki: It sure was.
Yuki: We were as surprised as the audience, if not more.
Momo: I almost cried even though we were about to perform!
Yuki: You mean you were actually crying.
Momo: Come on, Yuki, don't reveal Momo-chan's secrets so casually!
Yuki: Fufu. My bad.
Interviewer: I see. Thank you for sharing that precious memory with us!
Interviewer: Allow me to change the topic, could you share your thoughts on this cover photoshoot?
Momo: The shoot was so much fun! There was Re:vale spray-painted on the set which was very exciting!
Yuki: It was. The letters weren't very visible in the end because we stood in front of them, but it was nice to have a set specifically dedicated to us.
Momo: And the outfits exuded our adult charms thanks to the casual jackets and hats, don’t you think!?
Momo: Right, Yuki?
Yuki: Fufu. For me at least. Momo didn't give off much of an adult vibe.
Momo: Huh!? That's not true! I was oozing with charm, right!?
Interviewer: Yes! You both looked wonderful.
Interviewer: The theme of this issue is "Secret Talk with Close Friends", so please tell us about a moment where you felt grateful for having a partner.
Yuki: I'm not good at socializing or livening up the mood, so Momo's ability to make everyone around him happy helps me out a lot.
Momo: I'm happy, but you say that all the time~ Tell me something new!
Yuki: Then show us your example, Momo.
Momo: For me, it's Yuki's cooking!
Momo: I'm really happy that he makes dishes with meat just for me since he doesn’t even eat it! I can really feel your love!
Yuki: Hmm, I see what you mean.
Yuki: Then, during our indie days when Momo and I were still living together in poverty, Momo never got mad at me even when I was getting fired from my part time jobs. I’d love to thank you for that.
Yuki: Thank you.
Momo: You went back in time out of nowhere!?
Yuki: It's about how grateful I am to you ever since we started working together.
Momo: Here it is! Yuki's handsome comment!
Momo: You're in such high spirits today, you’re making my heart flutter!
Yuki: Fufu. Sorry for always being so handsome.
Interviewer: Since we’re already at it, is there anything you'd like to tell your partner?
Momo: Yuki, there's still a confession you haven’t told me yet, right!?
Yuki: Why does it have to be a confession?
Momo: Because we're on the cover, so it's a great opportunity!
Momo: Please give me a warm confession that will convey our relationship to those who don’t know about Re:vale!
Yuki: Wait. Don't ask me to do things outside my expertise out of nowhere.
Momo: No way... I've always trusted you, Yuki... Was I just a game to you...!?
Yuki: No, not in the slightest.
Momo: If you don't share that special confession, Momo-chan might not recover...
Yuki: Ahh, are we doing this?
Momo: Momo-chan might not recover...
Yuki: Alright...
Yuki: "Until the end of the world, you’re the one and only partner for me in the universe." …*chuckles*
Momo: Yuki, you’ll ruin everything if you laugh at the end!
Yuki: I tried my best, so cut me some slack.
Interviewer: Thank you for the passionate messages!
Momo: Actually, TRIGGER’s Gaku came up with this line for me.
Yuki: The Number One most desired Man is also handsome on the inside, isn’t he?
Momo: I respect him for being able to churn out a dramatic line like that without any shame, even though he’s our junior!
Yuki: That’s right. No matter how many times I say it, it doesn't sound as manly as when he does.
Momo: You'll sound good if you don't laugh halfway through, Yuki!
Interviewer: Now onto the next question. Where do you see Re:vale in 10 years?
Yuki: I'll be 36, Momo will be 35, and it'll be Re:vale's 15th anniversary in ten years.
Momo: I'll work hard so that Yuki doesn't replace me with a younger guy!
Yuki: Hey, don’t say something that might cause misunderstandings.
Momo: Because I'm working on anti-aging!
Yuki: You’ll still be my partner even ten years from now, right? I’m looking forward to working with you more, Momo.
Momo: Yeah! Looking forward to it too, Yuki!
Momo: If I can still be with you and Re:vale in ten years then that's enough to make me happy!
Yuki: Thank you, Momo. I’ll be happy too.
Momo: I’m gonna be a bit greedy, but I’ll also be super happy if all our fans continue supporting us in ten years like they do now!
Yuki: Fufu. Indeed.
Interviewer: Lastly, please share a message for your fans who continue to support you.
Momo: I hope everyone enjoys the cover issue featuring Re:vale.
Momo: We were able to be on the cover of the magazine and succeed in the inaugural performance thanks to everyone's support! Thank you!
Momo: You have plenty of choices with so many charming idols featured in the magazine, including TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7, but please continue to support Re:vale!
Yuki: We were able to achieve all of this, from the magazine cover to the inaugural performance, all thanks to our fans who believed in Momo and I and kept supporting us.
Yuki: We will continue to do our best to keep offering the best Re:vale, so please continue supporting us.
The End

If you are a manager, you can collect and reorganize all K-pop girl groups to create your own girl group. You will live in their dorms and they will be your sluts and sex slaves who will fulfill your sexual fantasies and make their dorms your harem. At the same time, your girl group must have all the positions to be complete as a girl group (leader, vocalist, rapper, dancer, visual, center, maknae). One member can hold multiple positions. There is no limit to the number of members in your girl group. However, since it is a group, there must be at least two members. If the number of members you want is greater than the number of positions, you can add a specific position (such as increasing the number of vocalists to two), and the member corresponding to the position does not have to be excellent at that position. If you like group A and don't need anyone else, you can just choose the members of group A as they are, or if you like group A but also like group B, you can merge them, or if you like group A but also like member b of group B, you can add only member b, or if you only like some members of group A, you can exclude the rest, or you can choose one from each group, it's all up to you. Create your own harem girl group and tell me about your daily routine with them.
By default aespa with their top of the line sluts are perfect for literally anyone and any category, that's why I write about aespa.
But if you were to make a harem of sex slaves as their manager then I don't think their position in team actually matters. What matter is what assets they have and how can they actually fullfill your desires. So let's go by their assets.
All rounder: Karina, Natty, Somi and Yujin. Physically they have everything you can ask for. Sexy look, busty boobs, tight booty, juicy pussy and the drive to fuck anyone crazy! These four together can be the most successful group by talents as well as the best sex slave combo you can ever ask for. (Leeseo actually fits in too, but we are 2 month short to include her here)
Just Boobs: Jihyo, Momo, Jeewon and Eunbi. Do I need to elaborate? Kekeke, they don't need to be able to do anything properly as idols. Just this trio shaking those big boobs showing their cleavages will earn the group millions.
Just Booty: Giselle, Hwasa, Sohee, Mina, Eunha and Yuna. You will end up cumming in your pant just from them twerking kekekeke. They are also covering all the role so it's a good team comp.
Slim Body: Winter, Julie, Chaewon, Seulgi, Umji, Solar, Eunchae and Miyeon. They are as slim as a body can be while still having insane sex appeal. They are also very balanced in all role so this is a easy group pick.
Just Pussy: Ningning, Soyeon, Sakura, Tzuyu, Gaeul, Wonyoung, Yunjin, Sinb and Shuhua. A nine bitch group that have members for all role as well as the pussy to satisfy you 9 times over at least a single night!
That's it. The routine? You just bootycall them as per as your need. Rest of the details hardly matter kekekekeke

I saw some discussion floating around on what Momo and Okarun might name their child if they had one, which got me thinking about it as well. This inevitably led me down a deep rabbit hole of Japanese wordplay and research that really needed its own post, so here goes...
Naming hypothetical Dandadan kids!!
Fandadan kids...?
I'll be covering Momo x Okarun, Aira x Jiji and Kinta x Vamola below the cut for those who're interested - it's very long and very silly.
Momo x Okarun
If it were up to me, I'd name their child Tou. Why?
Well. You. See! Okarun's real name is Ken, written as 健 - meaning 'health' or 'strength'. However, 'ken' is also how you pronounce the word for 'sword' - written as 剣. This refers broadly to swords of many varieties. A more specific word would be 'katana', written as 刀, which refers to Japanese-style blades in particular. Another way of pronouncing 刀 is 'tou'.
Momo's name means 'peach' and is written as 桃. An alternate way of pronouncing 桃 is also 'tou'. Furthermore, the word 'momo' is also one way to read 百, the kanji for the number 100... as in the number of kilometers an hour a certain old lady can run.
So Tou feels like a wonderful name to me, as it loops all in and around Momo and Ken's names and even Turbo Granny to boot. It's a masculine name, but I feel like they'd still go with Tou even for a girl. A very tough girl!!
Aira x Jiji
Whether these two end up becoming a proper pairing in-series remains to be seen, but I've become totally hooked on them recently ^^;; and they're both so good with kids, I can imagine them having two or three... but I think the first one should be Buyuu.
Aira's name is written as 愛羅, which is a nod to the phrase 愛羅武勇 - read as 'I love you', or アイラブユー (ai ra bu yuu) - said as if one were speaking in English, rather than the Japanese line 'aishiteru' for example. A very fun line that showcases Aira's passionate side!
'Buyuu' would make for a very nice boy name to match his mother, written of course as 武勇 to follow Aira's 愛羅. Jiji is a fun and sentimental guy, so I think he'd be fully on board with this kind of wordplay!
武勇 can also be read on its own to mean 'bravery', 'military prowess' or 'valour'. Jiji's real name is Jin, written as 仁 and means 'benevolence', 'compassion', 'charity' etc. - while not directly related, 'jin' and 'buyuu' both point towards virtuous qualities that often go hand-in-hand. Buyuu refers to warrior-like traits especially, which also serves as a nod to Jiji's power both with and without the Evil Eye.
I can certainly think up good names for more kids too... but let's move on for now >///<
Kinta x Vamola
This ship might be a bit polarizing, but I honestly think they'd be so sweet together once they have time to grow! Another reading for Vamola is Bamora, written either way as バモラ - neither reading is right or wrong from a technical standpoint, but I prefer Vamola as it sounds more alien to my ears.
It also matches with Vega, which is the name I'd choose for her and Kinta's daughter!
Vega is the brightest star in the Lyra constellation, and is known in Japan as 織姫 or 'Orihime' - as in Orihime from the popular folktale of Tanabata. The story is about two lovers (Orihime and Hikoboshi) who are separated by the Milky Way and can only meet on the 7th day or the 7th month. A lonely maiden from the stars... almost like a certain alien girl!
But the connections don't stop there. Sakata Kinta (坂田金太) also happens to be a folktale reference! 'Kintarou' (金太郎) is the name of a very famous figure in Japanese myth, particularly known for slaying the fearsome oni overlord Shuten-douji. He also may or may not have served Minamoto no Yoshitsune under the name of Sakata Kintoki (坂田 金時). Folktale father, folktale daughter.
Kinta is such a bombastic guy, Vega just might be on the normal side of his naming preferences... but I think Vamola would find it all very sweet and moving. That said, Vega herself might choose to go by Orihime amongst her peers to avoid the questions and weird looks >.>
(And of course, if they had a son it'd be Altair instead!)
So... yeah! Those are my thoughts and ideas on the matter ^^;;;
I love researching Japanese terminology etc. so this was really just an excuse to ramble about all that... Hope some folks enjoy!

Start Again x Divinity x Problem Children
I was originally wondering if there was any direct fallout from All for One murdering a nascent god of Heroism, or at least a very powerful elemental of that nature. You know, beyond the impact of ALL MIGHT of all people being killed on live tv. How would it affect 1-A, his protoge and the class he had spent the most time with?
Then I looked back on some posts, specifically this one, and some other cross overs with start again, and I wondered if the reason Akari goes to UA isn't just because of Nezu, or Uraraka, but because of how many of her new classmates became significant or a problem in the coming years.
And I don't mean that in a good way.
To list,
Uraraka: One of Akari's lieutenants, close friend
Momo: Warlord by the name of Goddess, possibly unhinged/more zealotous without a high priest who can adequately reign her in as in the cannon
Asui: One for all holder, possible inheritor of All Might's divinity, prob at UA
Speculation on my part,
Bakugo: Likely a brainwashed Nomu because petty AfO, possibly high end like Kurogiri, definitely walking weapon pointed in target's vague direction and let loose.
Kirishima: Likely keeps his quirk, attempt to rescue Bakugo gone wrong, lost sense of worth, tries to keep his group alive at any cost
Ashido: Same group as Kirishima, lost her quirk in the attempt to rescue the Bakugo Nomu, worryingly ruthless, Leads one of the largest nomadic groups
Kaminari: Same group as Kiri and Mina, lost his quirk, lieutenant, blank/emotionless as side effect
Sero: Scout/assassin of the group, barely kept his quirk (heteromorph) but shares same side effect as Kaminari
Sato: one of Momo's chosen, high rank
Mei: One of Momo's chosen, possibly high priest in this time line
Hagakure: Prominent assassin for higher (possibly unwillingly)
Todoroki: Unwilling leader of another group, Still has his quirk (long ranged fighter), desperate to keep his remaining family alive, longstanding grudge with Dabi
Koda: Likely another warlord, territory is Not Habitable To Humans Anymore
Mineta: ?
Jiro: Informant/info broker,
Shoji: Fellow Info broker, focused on hunting down revived CRC in his warlord's territory. Emphasis on hunting
Ojiro: Vigilante, possibly no longer human, Also hunting CRC, albeit for revenge
Iida: Barely survived Hosu, was still recovering during Kamino, Did Not Take It Well. Went rogue and last heard of hunting Stain and his followers
Aoyoma: Unwilling Spy for AfO at UA if still alive
Tokoyami: Either a Nomu like Bakugo if Captured, or if not, closer to natural disaster than human, the reason no one moves at night
and then there's:
Midoriya: Who is this anxious sunny child, why is he here, why does he have a quirk that could rival All Might's, were was he the last time around, why can't Akari remember him?
I'd say that Akari puts up with so much but shit like this is why she went back

To build off my ask about the Izucrew and the LOV forced team up-
The HPSC being the ones to pushed those two groups into an unsteady alliance has so much potental. Not to mention, it has the opportunity to bring in Hawks (and perhaps Tokoyami as well), and that in itself can open a whole can of Morally Gray Worms. Which could also be used to begin the foreshadowing for Lady Nagant.
Alongside the obvious interactions (Midoriya, Aoyama, and Shigaraki; Todoroki and Dabi; Toga and Uraraka), it opens the door for interactions and conversations beyond that, just to spitball random but hopefully interesting pairs- Dabi and Tsuyu; Aoyama and Twice; Midoriya and Spinner; Todoroki and Shigaraki; etc etc.
Momo and Kurogiri ‼️ That's such a cool idea. However, personally, I'd imagine this arc happening post-School Festival Arc but pre-PLW Arc, so technically speaking Kurogiri would've already be in Tartarus at that point (if my memory serves me correct). But that duo still has so much potential.
And ooooo, the rest of class 1-A and their reaction! That actually makes me wonder how televised this "team up" would be and if the HPSC is the common enemy, I wonder how much they would twist it to make it look like they're the good guys and the Izucrew are traitors? Which then me wonder if the rest of class 1-A and UA staff (& the heroes) would fall for the HPSC lies or see past the bull. I feel like Nedzu and All Might wouldn't fall for it, and as much as I hate to say it, possibly Endeavor as well (at least when it comes the traitor accusations pointed specifically towards Todoroki). Not to mention, I can imagine the panic that Aoyama's parents would feel when the HPSC pulls that traitor accusation stunt (and then the absolute panic Aoyama himself would feel when that stunt finally reaches the ears of the Izucrew and LOV).
Scenario time-
Hear me out. Maybe whoever the Common Enemy Group is (whether it'd be the HPSC, PLF, or an original group), perhaps they somehow had managed to capture all but one of Izucrew and all but one LOV. So not only do the two people not captured are double forced to work together, they are rushing against time because they don't know what the Common Enemy Group is going to do to the captured.
So, in this scenario, I'd imagine the two people to avoid captured are Toga and Aoyama. Someway, somehow, the pair is successful in breaking into the Common Enemy Group's base, now whether or not they're success in saving the rest of the Izucrew and LOV is shrugs, but regardless a battle is on the horizon and someone's not escaping without a couple of scars (hmmmm, maybe without someone with a healing quirk, Midoriya could actually lose an arm?). Maybe a silly little thing is that perhaps Toga is the one that ends up (on accident) freeing most of the Izecrew and Aoyama ends up (on accident) freeing most of the LOV. (conflicted feeling then be conflicting)
Complete forgot to mention that with the Izucrew & LOV Forced Team Up Arc is that in the scenario -> the Izucrew and the LOV had already been “working together” to fight against the Common Enemy Group for a week or two weeks prior to Toga and Aoyama breaking into the Common Enemy Group’s base. I’d imagine that the battle resulting from the Izucrew and the LOV being freed to be the climax of the arc. That being said, I actually have no clue how the Izucrew gets back to UA, especially if they already been labeled traitors by either the media or the HPSC. Another thing I’d like to add because I kept thinking about the scenario more after I sent the second ask. Is that if the arc takes place before the Joint Training Arc, it’d be interesting (and better) if during the climax battle that one of Izucrew get serious hurt and this is when he unlocks Blackwhip instead unlocking it because Monoma insulted Bakugo. Also, during this battle Midoriya would absolutely go Feral™️ Mode and LOV sees exactly why & how he won against Stain, Muscular, Overhaul, and (if this takes place post School Featival) Gentle Criminal & La Brava (actually I don’t remember if the LOV knows that about the Midoriya vs Gentle Criminal & La Brava fight). And maybe just for fun, Midoriya could replicate one of, let’s say, Shigaraki’s moves during the climax battle 👀. Okay, so this could be too much, but perhaps the climax battle could also be when Toga goes through her quirk awakening and when we see Aoyama use Naval Laser without his belt for the first time as well?
-
I've read a lot of Suspected Traitor Midoriya Izuku AUs in my time, and something that always comes up is this:
Someone sees Izuku's analysis, and they become paranoid or scared by the details within it, realising their quirk could be taken down so easily, and look a bit further. In doing so, they reach, yet you can understand why they got to this point.
They notice how his quirk seems... new. Bakugou claimed that he believed Izuku was quirkless on the first day. Izuku cannot control his quirk at first. He acts too nervous for someone with such a powerful quirk, who should have been treated greatly because of it.
They see all this, and they make it fit their narrative, rather trying to see the truth because they already have it in their head that Izuku is dangerous.
And so, they come to the conclusion that he's the traitor. That he recieved his quirk from All for One, and he's nervous because he has to keep an eye on everyone to report back to the League.
Now, it's usually a 1-A member, Aizawa, or even All Might, who reaches this conclusion. It tends to only be Shouto, Shinsou, and Bakugou who don't believe.
But, imagine for a moment, that it's an old classmate of Izuku's. Someone, maybe the long-fingers guy, sees his progress in the Sports Festival, and is stupefied by his quirk. Then they remember that Izuku used to have a 'creepy' notebook full of analysing heroes, and they saw the All Might vs All for One fight, and they are the ones to report Izuku to the police, who then take it to the HPSC.
The HPSC would need a reason to take this seriously, and actually want to get rid of Izuku.
So, there would have to be some set-up. Maybe, by this point, Izuku's started to realise how corrupt hero society is and is trying to change it. He investigates certain heroes and realises that they really don't deserve to be heroes, or to be hailed as them.
Then he manages to ruin their reputation. Those heroes lose their careers after Izuku, anonymously, exposes them. But, the HPSC can find the IP address, even if he changes it because of some sort of techno quirk, and realise that Izuku is exposing them - he's a threat.
So, they take it seriously. Or rather, they use it. They get this theory that Izuku is working for the League, and they contact Nedzu to get rid of him, maybe to send him to Tartarus or even kill him. And to pressure Nedzu further when he refuses, because he knows that Izuku recieved his quirk from All Might and knows why he's full of anxiety, the HPSC hire people to leak the theory to the public.
Suddenly, people everywhere are calling for Izuku to be removed from U.A., and 'answer for his crimes'. People who have lost close friends or family to the League are outraged that U.A. are defending the bastard traitor.
Thing is: nobody who knows Izuku believes it's him. All Might is offended by the idea, 1-A adore Izuku, Aizawa thinks it's ridiculous that someone so anxious could be a traitor, the staff love Izuku, and his friends are willing to defend him at all costs. Even outsiders, such as 1-B, who aren't that close to Izuku, think the theory is ridiculous.
But, the public aren't letting up, and neither are the HPSC. Nedzu doesn't particularly care about the public's opinion of him, as he views humans as lesser than him anyway, but he can't deny that he has to do something.
Unfortunately, his intelligence is his own worse enemy, as he deliberates far too long, and somebody else makes the first move. The public.
Someone manages to destroy the gates, and they raid U.A. Izuku is the target, and people are being hurt in the hunt. He has no choice but to run, as he doesn't want anyone else to be hurt for his sake.
But, his friends aren't willing to let him deal with this alone.
They run away with him, as 1-A do everything in their power to make sure Izuku gets out of the danger zone.
Meanwhile, the LOV are pissed too. Well, Tomura is seething, because he hates Izuku and hates the idea that they're secretly working together even more. The Stain Supporters like the idea, but it also conflicts how they view Izuku as a 'true hero' as Stain proclaimed.
Maybe they're checking out the downfall of U.A., enjoying every bit of it, when they see the IzuCrew booking it. Curious, they follow, and the raging army behind them see this. They see the League following after the IzuCrew, and they reach once more.
Suddenly, all of them are being chased down, and can do nothing but run. Except, the villains don't care. They try to attack the civillians - the IzuCrew do everything they can to stop them, to make sure the civillians are not injured.
They fight each other as they run, trying to get rid of each other, and the villains trying to get rid of the civillians as well.
Until the HSPC contacts local heroes to take down the LOV and the IzuCrew by any means necessary.
It's no longer angry civillians - it's heroes who are trained in combat.
They have no choice but to work together to survive. For days, weeks even, they have no choice but to work together to survive, and that would lead to each of them somehow becoming closer to understanding each other. Maybe when they have to keep watch during the night and there's two awake at all times.
Until all but Himiko and Yuuga are captured. A bunch of heroes, perhaps the ones Izuku exposed, work together to take them down and by surprise.
They're taken to Tartarus, and they can only hope Yuuga and Himiko can rescue them.
This would be where the traitor Yuuga would be revealed to the audience, as Himiko casually brings it up, though Yuuga hates being called a traitor.
And so on and so forth.
I realise that I went overboard, but it's fine. We all want to see it anyway.
(Now I really wanna write a fic with this premise, but I have commitment issues.)
(P.S. Thanks the idea. This was a joy to ideate.)

Skulldog skulldog!!!!!!
Tumblr media
Feel free to suggest a name :P
Character concept-y stuff:
Tumblr media
coooool (bonus + inspos under cut)
Tumblr media
Yo so this was supposed to be a sort of combo of some old ocs????????????? here they are
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Momo, Ruby, and an unnamed oc :P clearly i didnt know how to draw skulldogs there either lmao
I also made this momo ref later
Tumblr media
I actually stole the name from teh google doodle halloween cat because shes so cute lmao but i wanna change it-
i also drew these ruby outfits
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It looks a little better but she still looks more like a wolf than a dog lol (to be fair teh new one kinda looks like a wolf a littel bit too...skulldogs kinda looks like wolves in general, don't you think?)
I swear i had more olf ruby art but i can't find it??? prolly cuz i forgor her name lmao and i had another oc named ruby so i had to change it... I tried to get suggestions for it but none ever came in xd
Anyway, I took the fur color from the unnamed oc, specifically the one from the lighter grey half, and I took a lot more from ruby; the colors, the species, basically everything lol
I didn't take a lot from momo, i think ill take more from her lore-wise instead of looks-wise
so anyway i started designing
I sketched a version with a poncho cape shaul thing? I cant find it but it was inspired by these i saw on pintrest
Tumblr media Tumblr media
mostly the first one
anyway i thought it looked dumb so i changed it
I was inspired by these BEAUTIFUL pants I saw on pintrest (again) and i cant find it but just imagine it lol
they were like shark tooth pants or something???/ they had a lot fo zippers and pockets idk
ANYWAY i added something similar onto the oc and then i played with colors
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idk whats going on in the third one
the second one i used a website to make a color palette
then i made the one i actually used
Tumblr media
after that i just cleaned it up a bit and colored the lines :P
anyawy the end
