✭INFAMOUS UPDATE IS HERE ✭
238K -> 457K WORDS
Please read this post before playing! It's finally here! After five months of writing and rewriting and salvaging and crying and sweating and bleeding I finally finished sort of kind of! Firstly, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding over this duration of this rewrite. It was stressful at times but I'm happy with the end result and I hope everyone else will be too :)
This will be the last chapter I release without beta testers/other sets of eyes so expect errors. I can playtest until my fingers turn blue but I'm just one person </3 I'm bound to have missed stuff.
Please let me know of errors! I tested it a few times with no problems but we know how it goes lol
IN THIS CHAPTER THREE UPDATE:
drama
mayhem
chaos
some betrayal
some surprises
just...read it lmao
PROLOGUE - CHAPTER 2 CHANGES:
**chapter two was too large of a file to upload on dd so I had to split it last minute and I uhhhh dont know how that translates in the demo but it should work lol please let me know if its wonky!**
fixed up grammatical errors and typos
expanded some scenes and added some more choices
you can now choose that your mc has "changed" in some way (drinking, no longer drinking, partier, no longer a partier, negative, positive, attached, detached, or a general default. I was asked to add an MC who "gets around" or hookups a lot but I'm still debating on whether I'll add that since there's already quite a bit lolol)
you can choose to have changed your band's genre before/after seven
TECHNICAL CHANGES:
you will be able to explicitly state your sexuality in the beginning. this was a big ask and I apologize for not doing it earlier! I wasn't good at coding when I started and I knew I always wanted to make the genders separate from MC's sexuality but I didn't know how to do that at the start :) So you can still choose the genders of the ROs for story purposes and variety. IF YOU DO NOT SEE ROMANCE OPTIONS THAT IS NOT A BUG. You simply chose a RO gender that doesn't correlate with the sexuality you chose for your MC. Having said that, if you do see a romance option available and it's not supposed to be there please let me know! That means I may have missed it coding-wise.
the stats have been all fixed! I've added all the necessary variables and such. The stat portion of the game has been updated with the appropriate pages but they're not finished. Still, the stats should be fine.
You will now have confessionals in the stat page! The feature still isn't a thing yet because I haven't come up with the confessionals lolol but you can click on it to see what it's about. Essentially, as you progress through the story you will be able to see confessionals from the cast of Infamous throughout. They disappear and appear periodically so if you miss it, THAT'S IT! You won't get a chance to see them again until MC watches an episode where it's relevant.
There is now a: Discography page, Infamous wiki, botb cast and staff page, and other characters page for organization. Those are not finished but they're there!
I changed a few stat names but their functions remain the same.
You will be able to choose how you would like to be described (masculine, feminine, neither, both).
O is officially gender-selectable.
You can set the genders of the ROs at the start or wait till you meet them.

The Real Encore
Itzy Yuna x Male reader THIS IS A REUPLOAD! Maybe you've seen this work before, maybe you haven't. It used to be uploaded on a blog called K-DGN, run by two people. That blog got destroyed, and now I run this blog by myself, posting only 100% original kdol fanfic content. Word Count: 7.1k
Tumblr media
Following the show, you sat back in your seat in a daze, dumbfounded that you had finally gotten a chance to see your favorite group Itzy live in concert. They were everything you'd hoped they'd be and more. Nothing online could have prepared you for what it would be like finally laying your eyes on them in person. Months of preparation getting right physically paid off in dividends too, as multiple members came by your side of the stage to give you all the fanservice you could have ever wanted. You believed you must have been the luckiest guy in the building as it happened more than once. Each and every member came by to dance specifically for you, and you ate it all up. It was all surreal, and you could not imagine a more perfect night.
As the audience continued to file out of the arena, you snapped out of your daze and started gathering your things to leave. You were about to leave when a staff member from the show got your attention from across the barricade and called you over. You were a little confused because you thought that maybe you had done something wrong, but that confusion was quickly washed away when they told you that your ticket had won a "special raffle", and that you were selected to come participate in a meet & greet with the group backstage. You were ecstatic, but told to keep your cool as the staff member did not want to draw the attention of the unluckier fans and cause a scene. They guided you around to the side of the stage and took you back through a hallway leading to the backstage area. You were brought to a room where a staff member took your belongings for safe keeping while another gave you some quick paperwork to sign. You were so excited at the prospect of meeting the members that you didn't even read most of it. Once everything was set, you were told to wait for a bit until they would take you to another room to meet the girls.
They sat you down in a long hallway backstage, on a row of foldable chairs seated against a wall. The rumble of JYP and Venue staff rushing through everything, packing up the show and making sure they get done as soon as possible to be able  to head down was dizzying. There were a total of 4 chairs lined up, including yours, but so far you were the only one sitting in one. Staff kept rushing back and forth as 5 minutes of waiting turned to 10 minutes turned to 15 minutes. You wondered if it was going to take much longer, and decided to ask one of the next staff members you saw.
"Excuse me" You addressed them. "When will the special raffle event start? Are there other winners we're still waiting on?" You asked, in your politest voice, but they just looked at you confused.
"Special raffle? What special raffle?" They replied, as if asking what the fuck you were talking about. "Are you allowed to be back here?" They continued, putting you on the spot. You tried to explain that one of the staff members told you to wait here, but you had nothing to show for it.
"They're fine, I told them to wait here!" The staff member from earlier came in just in time to save your skin, with another guy you could only assume to be another concert goer going off of their outfit in tow. The staff member you asked for clarification gave you a suspicious look, but backed off, going back to their urgent tasks.
"Sorry about that." The first staff member said. "Not everyone is made aware of all events. I hope the wait wasn't too unbearable, we still had to find our other winner. But we are ready to start now!" They explained that, considering the nature of the special event raffle, it was sometimes a little harder to get all the winners in the same place. You couldn't help but notice the discrepancy in between the amount of chairs, and the amount of winners, but maybe it just meant some winners already left and lost out on their luck. Or maybe something entirely else you were yet to find out.
The two of you were then ushered further down the hall, ultimately ending at a pair of doors. These rooms were a lot more secluded, a far cry from the chaotic mess that was the staff hurriedly packing up the show back where you were previously. You and your fellow raffle winner both exchanged pleasantries as you awaited for further instructions.
"Here we are. Please wait just one more second while I check to see if they're ready to see you" the staff member explained and then turned around to knock on the door and peek their head in. They asked something in Korean, to which you could hear the female voice responding. Satisfied, the staff member then turned back to the two of you. "Okay! Now sir, if you'd please," they instructed as they opened the door and gestured the other guy to come forward. You were about to follow suit but the staff member raised a hand to stop you in place. "Just him, please. You will be meeting someone else. You made and "O" face and nodded you head. You and the other winner exchanged nervous glances before you raised a fist of encouragement. He reciprocated the gesture then turned back to the door, taking a deep breath and walking in.
As he rounded the bend, the staff member closed the door behind him, leaving you alone and now more nervous than ever. The staff member gave you a quick smile then headed to the other door, repeating the same actions he had done with the previous room's occupant. He then turned back to you, leaving the door slightly ajar for you to enter.
"Okay, she's ready for you. Please go in when you're ready." he instructed before stepping aside. Your eyes darted between him and the door. He gave you a nod and this time it was your turn to take a moment to collect yourself. You steeled yourself before mustering enough courage to take the step through the door. You walked a bit further into the room, hearing the sound of the door closing behind you. No turning back now, you thought to yourself. As you rounded the corner, you almost froze in place. In the center of the room was a couch facing away from you, and seated right in the middle of it was a girl with bright red hair, looking down at what presumably was her phone. You thought that maybe she hadn't heard you come in because she hadn't turned to greet you, so you decided to try and get her attention.
"Ahem...Yuna...?"
The girl's head instantly perked up and she whipped her head around to face you. It was almost like a scene from a hair product commercial the way her bright red colored locks flared out before perfectly settling along her exposed shoulders. From what you could see since she was still seated, she was wearing a spaghetti strapped white tank top. She had a huge welcoming smile on her face, complimented by her beautiful eyes which were beaming with excitement.
"Took you long enough! Come, sit with me!" she called out.
You couldn't help but notice two things when taking in the room. The first was the faint humming of some music playing at a low volume on a speaker, posited on a table in front of the couch. You weren't sure what song it was, but you could tell it was by Blackpink. The other thing was a faint smell, attacking your senses. It wasn't pungent, but if you focused on it, it was present. It wasn't anything like any smell of any perfume you'd ever smelled before. It had no traces of floral scents or any of the like, but instead had this deep sweetness to it. It was intoxicating, and you couldn't help yourself from drifting towards it.
The shock of being in a room alone with Yuna and her addressing you so directly almost caused you to dissociate long enough to get on the nerves of Yuna who just asked you a question. It wasn't your attention to ignore her, you just needed something to focus on and ground yourself with.
"Hello?" Called out again, snapping you out of your drifting gaze. You looked right at her again, and walked around the couch, staring at you the entire time before taking your seat next to her. She was still wearing her pink skirt from the encore, matched with her black boots. All she changed out of was her top.
"Hi!" She spoke to you, very high pitched and seemingly very excited to have your attention. Even after such an exhausting show, her fanservice was out of this world.
"H-Hi..." You mumbled out through your nervousness. You hadn't ever even been close to itzy before this show, let alone win a fancall or anything of the like. Not for lack of trying, mind you. "I'm your biggest fan!" You managed to push, almost as if yelling.
"I'm glad to hear that!" She replied, equally as full of gusto as you did. She didn't skip a beat however, and her smile pierced through your body before she placed her right hand on your left thigh, the one closest to her, before continuing. "What's your name?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, stunning you further.
"Y/N." You answered, the first sentence uttered without stuttering or an added ehm since stepping into the room. "Hmmmm, Y/N huh? That's a pretty name. You know my name too, right?" She asked, dragging her words out in a playful tone, her eyes intently staring at your face as she asked you.
You weren't really sure if this was a trick question. Who would end up going to this concert without knowing her name at least? You shook off your doubts, certain she was just giving you an easy question which she could use to give more fanservice as a response. "Yeah, Yuna..." You answered, tilting your head forwards as you answered her simple question, still unable to really feel comfortable with her hand on your thigh.
The instant her name left your mouth, her face rapidly came closer to yours, she closed her eyes, and planted her lips on yours. You were in complete shock, your eyes jolted open before slowly closing, oozing into the sudden kiss by Yuna. You felt her hand squeeze your thigh a little, before she pulled away, a small string of a mix of your and her spit trailing in between both of yours underlips.
"Hmmm, your lips taste nice when you say my name, Y/N." She divulged, wiping the spit off of her lip, before looking back at you, hungry eyes, studying how you were going to react. She took this chance to reposition herself, tucking her legs underneath her and sitting on her knees facing you. You couldn't help but stare, mute in shock at what was happening. You couldn't help but notice her short skirt wasn't fit to keep herself covered in her current position facing you, and your eyes drifted downwards, but all you could see were the same pink hue of her safety shorts. This action didn't go unnoticed, as Yuna's smile turned into a smirk, busting your perverted action.
She licked her lips, as her eyes grew smaller and focused. "Don't think I didn't see that, Y/N." She berated you in a sultry, teasing tone.
"I'm sorry!" You blurted out, afraid you might have pissed the younger girl off and was about to get thrown out for it.
"No, don't be!" She responded, once more putting her right hand on you, this time on top of your left hand, which was clinging onto your pants above your left thigh. Her touch tensed you up even further, before eventually giving into the feeling of her soft hand touching yours, causing your muscles to relax. You looked at her face, no trace of anger to see, her gaze fixated on you. Your eyes meeting caused her smile to grow wider, which instinctively caused you to smile as well before Yuna continued. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours!" She said, as if it was the most normal thing in the world, a cute smile on her perfect face. Your hand tightened up again.
"I'm sorry?!" You exclaimed again, unable to believe you heard what she said correctly. Is this a dream? You weren't even sure anymore, and pinched yourself, but the pain was certainly real.
"Didn't you read the contract you signed? It's a non-disclosure agreement you know. You can't talk about what happens here today, what do you think that means?" She retorted, asking you with her head tilted, and her brows gathered between her eyes, almost as if asking if you were smart enough to read.
"I skimmed it?" You replied, grimacing at admitting your own incompetence. You could see Yuna's face cringe a little bit at your answer, which caused you to further explain yourself. "I was just so excited to be here, I'd sign anything for it!"
"So you're the hot but impulsive type huh? You're lucky I think that's cute." Yuna sighed, her eyes had drifted downwards, introspectively, before taking another look at you, this time, a smile but with the faintest hint of her pitying you mixed in. Her high-pitch and tension picked up once more. "Well? What's it going to be? Wanna show me yours?" She asked. No mistaking it now. Yuna just asked to see your cock, and you couldn't help but grow rock hard just from the thought of it. Your bulge had started to show through your pants, and Yuna noticed, honing in like a predator on its prey.
"Right, yes. Yes! I'll show you." You replied, not really finding the right words, but enough words to convey the essence of your message. You started unbuckling your belt, and slowly taking off of your pants, dropping it to your ankles, leaving your underwear on. Your bulge was clearly standing upright in your pants now, and you looked at Yuna once more to make sure you weren't misunderstanding.
"Aww, don't go teasing me now, Y/N!" She replied to the inquiry made by your eyes. Your confidence surged, and you started pushing your underwear down, the rim of it clinging against the tip of your rock hard dick before snapping off, revealing the full length of your cock. You were clean shaven down there as well, as you in your delusion like almost any concert-goer, had to be prepared for the impossible. You read somewhere that the lack of a bush makes a cock look bigger, and you wanted to look like you were at peak performance.
"Now that looks delicious." She licked her lips once more, her eyes focused on your stiff cock. "You pass this round, I don't like men with small cocks." She giggled to herself, retaining her smile towards you, as if proud of her compliment.
"Mind if I...?" Yuna asked you, without finishing her sentence, but you responded having a pretty good idea of what she was going to ask. "Please do." You responded, strangely more calm then you were at any given point since setting foot inside this room. Yuna's hand glided over to your cock, and her soft hand wrapped around the base of your cock, grasping it lightly. Her hand was barely gripping at all, a soft touch wrapped around you, before she started to twist and turn her hand up and down slightly. You couldn't help but moan at her touch, before she released your cock, taking her hands back to her side.
"So, you want to see mine now? It's only fair, right?" She asked you, her head tilted slightly downwards, causing her eyes to have to look up at you sitting straight across from you. You gulped your spit down and nodded your head yes. "Alright, but I'll sweeten the deal. I'll even let you touch it if you do a couple of things for me first."
You didn't have to think even a millisecond about it before responding. "I'll do it!" You almost screamed. Yuna chuckled out loud from this, causing her to respond in kind. "You really are impulsive! Very well. The first thing I want you to do is this:" She explained, as she turned around, grabbed her phone behind her on the couch, and unlocked it with her finger before turning on the camera app and extending it towards you. You tilted your head, looking a little confused. She giggled at your failure to understand. "I want you to take a picture of me with your dick in my mouth! Lia isn't here, but she loves updates on us having fun!" She explained. Your eyes widened. Of all the things, this was not what you expected. Wow, this girl is a fucking freak, You thought to yourself, but you were definitely not opposed to it. Your hesitation caused Yuna to speak up again.
"You already said you'd do it, no backing it out now!" She exclaimed, and as if that alone wasn't enough to snap you out of your gaze, she launched herself forward, taking the tip of your dick in her mouth, and looking towards your face, holding her head still there and her eyes clearly smiling. You tilted your head backwards, facing the ceiling, getting lost in the sensations she was bombarding you with, before Yuna pinched your thigh hard, making you aware of your part of the transaction. Her eyes had turned into a scowl towards you. You snapped back, took her phone, pointed it at her face, to which her visage once more bore a big eye-central smile, posing for the camera. You clicked the photo button a couple of times, before Yuna released your cock from her mouth with a big pop.
"Let's see!" She giddily said, as she took her phone back which you gladly extended back to her. "These will do! Thank you, Y/N." she continued.
"You're welcome." You meekly responded, undeniably a little sad your cock was no longer placed in between her lips. "You said there were a couple of things. What else do you need from me?" You inquired, showing you didn't forget and were not impulsive and stupid, just impulsive.
"I haven't been able to shower today, and I don't want to leave you alone like this right now." She replied, looking at you with giant doe eyes, her lip pouting.
"Okay?" You asked back, not really sure what she was getting at. She smirked at you, then lifted both her hands above her head, exposing her cleanly shaved armpits to you.
"Can't you please clean me up, Y/N?" She asked of you, an irresistible charm in her pleading voice. She wasn't saying it outright, but you believe you knew what she wanted. Or rather even if you were wrong, if she wasn't going to be clear you were going to take your chance to do what you wanted to do.
You brought your head closer to her, inching towards her armpit, as one question from earlier started forming an answer. This deep, slightly sweet smell you found earlier was coming from Yuna. Now inching closer to her, she seemed to still be glistening a bit from fresh sweat still on her. The smell was intoxicating, and you looked at her face before continuing any further, and she had a big smile on her face, urging you to go on.
You extended your tongue outward, touching her armpit, causing her to stifle a small moan, before licking up her sweat. You had never done this before, but you were hooked. The taste was sweet, slightly salty, and her skin tasted refined. One lick turned into two, turned into 4, turned into 10, before moving onto her other armpit, licking that one equally clean as the other, motivating Yuna's moans, until you were certain you hadn't missed a single spot.
"Thank you, Y/N, I feel a lot better now." She admired your willingness. You licked your lips, your eyes now fiercely intent on hers, before you made your first unprompted comment of the night.
"You are fucking delicious, Yuna." You told her, admiring her taste, letting her know you probably enjoyed what you just did more than her. She blushed a little from this, before snapping out of it, and regaining her bubbly, refined aura.
"Well, a deal is a deal!" She giggled at you, her head at 45 degrees, her eyes closed in two half moons and her mouth a big smile. She started pushing off her skirt, attached to her safety shorts, revealing another shocking truth about her. She was wearing no underwear, and she now sat on her knees across from you, legs slightly pushed open as if to lure you in, her clean shaven pussy exposed for you to see.
Your cock throbbed, the sight of such a perfect and pink pussy begging to be devoured by you was almost too much to bear. Your cock grew just that tiny bit more, pulsing, looking ready to burst.
"Oh, you were holding out on me? No fair, Y/N!" Yuna exclaimed, posing one hand over her mouth and using the other to playfully tap you on your shoulder with her other hand.
"I can't help it! Seeing such a delicious pussy, anyone would want to dive right in." You fired back, finding yourself in this erotic groove, growing in confidence. Yuna giggled in response to your admiration. She looked back at you, her eyes ready to devour you, before speaking up again.
"I haven't..." she said, in a soft, whispering voice, having that high-pitched pleading cadence to it. Her eyes started looking down at her own knees, avoiding your eyes. Her knees started to part more ever so slightly, exposing more of her privates. "Been able to clean her either." She finished her sentence before looking back up at you with her head tilted downwards, almost as if begging for you. "Could you please clean me up here as well, Y/N?" She requested of you, her cute charm overwhelming all your senses. She bit her lip at you, sending you over the edge.
You smirked, one corner of your lips arching upwards, before getting up from the couch. You stood in front of her, your cock pointing towards her at her chest level, and before you even had the chance to lower yourself towards her, the girl had leaned forwards, her tongue licking the tip of your dick. Her tongue curled upwards and inwards into her mouth. She proceeded to look up at you, opening her mouth wide and sticking her tongue out with a loud "aaaaaah", showing the strings of pre-cum she had licked up which had been dripping out of your cock because of her provocations.
"You'll have to be clean too for what we do next, Y/N!" She exclaimed proudly, gulping down your liquid while you grew a devious smile. Yuna give your dick a quick peck before telling you "You can continue now, Y/N." You quickly got lost in the thought of grabbing her hair in two pigtails and fucking her face,  but you knew better than to throw away your chances at whatever could happen next here for such a risky play. You lowered yourself onto your knees, placing your hands underneath both of her thighs, and lifting the girl's underside up as to get both her legs off of the couch, and hanging off the edge, as to position yourself in between them. You pulled them apart, giving yourself a clear view of her entrance, causing her to coo at your assertiveness, and pushing her own hips forward for you.
You brought your face ever closer to her pussy, inching towards her. She was wet down there, but not drenched. You picked up another spark of her scent, the same tinge of sweetness but mixed in with a more organic, earthy smell. It was even more intoxicating than the smell of her sweat. You opened your mouth, close to her labia and breathed out onto her, your warm breath causing her to shudder in anticipation. You still felt the sensation of her kiss on your dick, and decided to return the favor. You purse your lips, planting a kiss over top of her clit. Yuna's soft vocalization of a satisfied "hmmmm" let you know you were on the right track, starting slow, and warming up over time.
You stopped the kiss, looked up at Yuna's face, who was staring back at you intensely, her eyes pleading for you to continue. No more words needed to be said, and smirked, reaching your tongue out, flicking it upwards over her clit. Yuna's legs twitched, her eyes jolted shut and her knees buckled around your head, tightening her thighs around your skull. You flicked your tongue again, and now having warmed Yuna up were mostly just rewarded with moans. You picked up your pace, and swapped your flicks from horizontal, to vertical, to letters. Her hands found her way to your hair, and grasped firmly around strands she managed to find, holding on tight to you.
Yuna's breathing had grown labored, but she still managed to push some words out. "Don't you DARE... fucking stop...!" She moaned out, and you didn't dare defy her command. Your hands grasped her thighs where they could, squeezing tight, as you unleash your final assault. You pursed but your lips around her clit, sucking on it, getting it into your mouth and nibbling on it ever so softly with your teeth. This mixture of pleasure and pain seemed to send Yuna over the edge, as her back arched away from the couch, and her feet lifted up from the floor, her moans rising in pitch as you felt her entire body convulse.
You'd forgotten to breathe for the final part of that, and pulled your head back, gasping for big breaths of air. Yuna slowly opened her eyes, un-arching her back and leaning forwards. Her both hands cupped both sides of your face, squishing your cheeks as she leaned ever closer, licking her lips on her way to you. She kissed you another time on your lips, her lips firmly pressed against yours, before you felt her tongue entering your mouth. You pressed your tongue slightly against hers, wrapping around hers, coiling and twisting in wet ecstasy. Yuna pulled away from the kiss, and stared down at you with a big smile, but her eyes turned totally vixen.
"Hmmm, your lips taste nice when you've made me cum, Y/N." Yuna spoke seductively. You couldn't help but be overwhelmed with desire for this night to never end.
"Your lips taste nice when you're cumming, Yuna." You retorted, turning her own script on her. She giggled, before regaining her posture. She held out both her hands palm upwards, inviting your hands onto hers. You followed her guidance and placed your hands in hers, and she took firm grasp helping you stand up. She crossed her legs in front of you, denying further access to her. She pointed over to a chair with a bag sitting on it.
"Could you go and grab a condom from there, please?" She requested of you. Your mind raced. She hadn't needed a condom before when touching your dick with her hand or mouth. This had to meant you two were going to fuck, right?  Your excitement causes you to do as told without any questioning, turning your back on her and moving towards the bag. It was filled with Yuna's personal items, but you didn't take long to find a condom. You pulled one out, turning around to move towards Yuna again. This time, she surprised you once more, having removed her top, sitting on the couch waiting for you fully nude, her legs crossed and arms spread, leaning on the head of the couch beside her, exposing her pink nipples for you to admire.
Your mouth fell agape, admiring her every curve, curves that had been the subject of tons of speculation they were fake. If you had your phone with you know, you'd have saved the evidence they were all wrong in a heartbeat. You failed to comment anything on her appearance, being dumbfounded by her beauty, which caused her to raise one eyebrow at you, prodding you for a response. Your lack of vocal response causes Yuna to stand upright, her legs crossing over each other, causing her hips to sway, as she walks over towards you. Both her hands reach for your hips as she gets closer, grasping the edges of your shirt, the last piece of clothing you were wearing, and giving it a soft pull upwards. You got the hint, and lifted your arms up, allowing Yuna to take your shirt off, throwing it to the side.
"So what, you're not going to tell me how pretty I am?" Yuna teased you, shaking her head from side to side.  You snapped back to reality, and quickly thought of the best thing to say to remedy this situation.
"You have to be one of the most beautiful women to roam this earth." You spouted out in a panic, causing Yuna to have to hold back her laugh in response to your compliment. Yuna looked at you, and you weren't sure if it was lovingly or pitifully, but it was only for you, and that's all you seemed to care about.
"That's certainly a unique compliment. Calm down, babe. You're doing great, I'm not going to just randomly kick you out." Yuna reassured you, taking the condom out of your hands, placing her teeth on the edge of a corner of the wrapping, tearing it off, pulling it out and figuring out which way was inside out. You couldn't help but have your entire being flutter from her calling you babe, and her reassurance did wonders for you to relax.
"Thank you. You won't regret picking me." You responded, your eyes meeting hers filled with conviction, showing Yuna her words had worked. She smirked at your newfound confidence, handed you the condom, gave you a smile and posed you with a question. "So, how do you want to fuck me?" You accepted the condom, started wrapping it over your dick and gave some thought to her question.
"Hmmmm." You consciously vocalized out loud, making sure Yuna knew you were considering your options, and were not just too stunned to speak. You looked around the room, and couldn't help but focus your attention on the giant make-up mirror against the wall of the room, drawing your attention before being gifted with an idea. In one smooth motion, you picked Yuna up, carrying her bridal style over towards the make-up mirror. Your sudden heroics caused the unexpecting girl to yelp out in surprise, shocked at the sudden shift or impact her words had seemed to have in unlocking your boldness. She quickly held on tight however, enjoying your display of strength.
You planted your right arm firmly under her knees, freeing your hand and using it to toss the chair in front of the mirror to the side, freeing up all of the space in front of it. Yuna licked her lips at the performance you were putting on, and as soon as you put her down facing you in front of the mirror, she decided that this time it was her turn to hold you tight instead of you holding her tight. Her hand had found her way over to your cock, wrapping tightly around it, slowly stroking it back and forth while looking you into your eyes. Her head nodded in the same rhythm as her hand stroked you, causing your breathing to become louder. You weren't about to stop this momentum with a light handjob, and put your both hands on her shoulders, turning her around to face the mirror.
"I'm going to show you just how pretty you look when I'm fucking your brains out, babygirl." You shot back, taking the initiative on the teasing. Yuna's eyes were big, surprised from you spinning her around, and you could see them clearly in the reflection of the mirror. Upon hearing your provocation, she smirked back at you, as if to challenge you. Her eyes were clearly expecting great things from you, but her mouth made it even clearer, asking you to "make me fucking scream." She places her arms onto the counter of the makeup table in front of the mirror, stabilizing herself, arching her back for you as if she knew what to expect.
Your hands planted themselves firmly onto her wide hips, grasping her tightly with your fingers digging into her skin. You pulled her ass a little closer to you, causing her to arch her back further towards you, to which she playfully accepted and wiggled her hips at you, as if to invite you in. You placed your gift-wrapped cock against her mound, sliding it slowly up and down her entrance. You were teasing her, waiting for her to grow impatient for your moment to strike. Her smirk eventually turned into a frown, waiting for you to put yourself inside of her.
"Stop teasing me, Y/N. Start fu-" she had started to say, intending to finish her sentence with "cking me!". Unfortunately for her, you felt like the perfect time to strike would be right as she started saying fuck, causing her voice to grow louder, and scream out further with "UUUUUUUUUUUUUCK". You slammed your hips against her ass with full force, jamming the entire length and girth of your cock into her petite, drenched with anticipation, pristine pussy. Her eyes rolled back into her head, feeling the warmth of your cock pulse inside of her, and you weren't about to let up. Her moans were varying in pitch, her breathing unable to keep up with her voice, as you pulled your cock back until only the tip remained, instantly slamming back into her wet cunt.
"Ugh, ungghh nghhh, FUCK." Yuna kept moaning, unable to lower her voice, and you began to wonder whether or not she'd be heard outside of this room. She was beginning to hunch forward, unable to support herself through your rough slamming of her thin body, so you decided to take a chance and lend her a hand. You moved your left hand from her hips over to her stomach, pulling it closer to you, and your right hand all the way up, around her neck. You put some light pressure on the sides of her neck, before gripping her towards you, and into your body. You placed your head right next to hers, pulling her upwards to you, her arms now too far away from the make-up table to reach, causing her eyes to open, looking surprised at what was happening. She looked into your eyes through the mirror, and you whispered into her ears.
"I promised you I would show you how pretty you looked, so look. I want you to see the goddess that I see when I'm fucking you." you growled in a low, whispering voice, commanding her to follow your lead. She purred, biting her underlip and nodding slowly at you, looking straight ahead as you released the tension on your elbow, continuing to hold your hand around her neck but supporting her arch as you resumed your pounding. You enjoyed the feeling of control you had over her body in this position, but you couldn't help but feel that a slight shift could give you even more access to her weak spots. Her arms were dangling behind her, grabbing onto whatever part of you she could hold on to, but you had better usage in mind for them. You moved your left hand from her stomach onto her left wrist, grabbing it firmly, and once holding tight, did the same with your right. You had stopped pounding for these few seconds to properly get everything in place, causing the girl to look at you through the mirror and ask you "What's wrong? Why did you stop, babe?"
Her calling you babe again ignited something deep inside of you, and you addressed her concern. "I'm going to start really fucking you now." You touted, like a stone-cold killer wanting to intimidate their target. Her eyes panicked, darting to meet yours.
"What do you mean, really fucking me? Hey, wait, what do you-" She tried to ask of you, her arms now bent back behind her as you pulled on them, before you cut her off, slamming your cock so hard inside of her she stumble forwards, her hips getting pressed against the high make-up table, forcing her to lower her stomach onto it, which pulled back into a beautiful curved arch. The tension you forced upon her pushed all the air out of her lungs as she heaved and moaned out of pleasure, still looking at your and her reflection in the mirror. Her mouth was wide open, her tongue clearly showing, as the tip of her eyebrows pushed together into her forehead. She was trying to say something but having trouble pushing it out.
"Cu-... Cum! Fuck, cumming!" She yelled as loud as she could, and you felt her tight walls gripping your cock, making moving harder. Her hips moved upwards, as she was now standing on her toes, her legs trembling through your relentless siege of her womb, but you gave her no reprieve. You kept pounding, even picking up the pace when you felt her cum, like a man possessed by her sex-fueled body. You kept increasing the tension on her arms, pulling her back further and further.
"Nghhh, you're gonna... fucking... break my back! FUCK, ngghhh, don't! Don't stop OHHH" She moaned, her voice cracking as she begged you to continue. You hadn't cum yet, and you had no intention of stopping before you did. You were getting close and Yuna felt it. She used whatever force she had left in her body to push her hips into yours, grinding your cock up and down while you pounded deeper and deeper.
"Fuck, Yuna, I'm gonna cum for you!" You grunted out, moaning behind her, feeling your climax near. Her eyes elated, a slight smile formed, instantly pounded away into submission by your cock, before Yuna started pleading with you.
"Cum for me! Cum deep inside me please! PLEASE please please please-" She begged, a submissive little slut begging for your seed, which was just enough to send you over the edge. You didn't want to cum without her however, and decided to make one last play before reaching the finish line. You leaned forwards, playing on the knowledge you had gotten from what she liked earlier this evening, opening your mouth and protruding your tongue, licking her spine from as far down to the base you could move upwards. She started twitching upon feeling your spit on her back, soon followed by her legs twitching and her pussy tightening. If this wasn't enough to tell you your gamble was a success, her screaming "Yes!" sure was. Your cock pulsed, shooting load after load into the condom inside of her, her walls vibrating rhythmically, as you took in this sensation, almost unable to keep yourself standing during.
After you came, you pulled out of her and took a few steps back. Yuna was now standing on her toes, her entire upper body laying on the make-up table, and her head had turned to face you, but her eyes were momentarily closed. You took in the sight of the half-passed out, fucked silly girl, before dropping back into the couch, taking a seat and a much needed breather.
Yuna had heard you falling down onto the couch, causing her to open her eyes and look towards you. She picked herself up with whatever strength she had, stumbling towards you and falling down onto the couch next to you. She was laying on her stomach, her ass up, red from you crashing into her.
She tilted her head upwards and looked at you, satisfied with your performance and proud of herself for picking you out. Her feet were up in the air, kicking like a giddy schoolgirl, before forming a circle with her left thumb and index finger wrapping around the part of the condom dividing your tip and your cum. She squeezed tight, cutting off any flow, then pulled the condom off of your dick carefully so as not to leak a single drop of cum. She tied a knot at the bottom of the condom to make sure its contents were safe. You looked on as she did this, while her eyes focused on your groin, impressed with the fact that she still had any energy left.
"A souvenir to remind me of you." She murmured, loud enough for you to hear, before grabbing a Ziploc bag and pen that had been lying on the table all evening long, placing your condom inside and writing your name in it and zipping it closed.
"Thank you." You spoke up to her, still unable to believe any of this happened. "This was a once in a lifetime experience for me." You continued, grateful to have been given this chance. Yuna looked back up at you, her head ever so slightly tilted sideways, puzzled at your remark.
"Are you coming to any of our other shows?" She asked you in response, suddenly changing the topic.
"Ehm, actually, I'm coming to see you at your show in two days as well." You replied back ever so confused. You thought she must have felt burdened by your remark and just wanted to get this over with while still being polite.
She smirked the same devious smile you gave her when you pounded the life out of her, and in less than a second had thrown her entire mouth over your cock, her tongue wrapping around your shaft from tip to base, sucking and slurping hard, licking every inch before releasing you with a pop.
"You'll have to be clean for that show too." She taunted you, her voice daring, playful and bubbly all at the same time. "And I wouldn't be so sure about that ‘once in a lifetime’ part." She smiled seductively, her eyes wide open staring deep into your soul. "Your dick tastes nice after you've made me cum, after all."

SPECIAL THANKS
First and foremost I want to thank my good good friend @cowboycid for collaborating with me on this project. I'm so happy we met when we did because I was starting to lose light. You inspired me to keep going, and for that I appreciate you DOWN. You're a real one sis, no tea. Hugs and kisses for ever. I also want to thank @bobnewbie for coming through with families. You don't understand just how life saving they were. I didn't get a chance to use all of them, and my original concept for the save fell through due to time constraints, but I'm thankful to have had access to the diverse array of families you made for the save. A huge thank you to @oshinsimss for taking the time to create a beautiful family, The Westfalls, exclusively for Windbrook 2.0, I love them so much. Also a big thank you to @cowplant-snacks and @simsontherope for their townies. Without them, the townies would just be... ugh, you know. So, thank you for having them available on the gallery. I also want to thank @anthonydaydreamer for just showing up for me through this whole process. Like, you just get it boo! Hugs and kisses! Finally a quick apology to those I intended on sending preview copies of the save. Time was not on my side near the end, things took more time than I thought. Honestly, I needed to get this project off my computer ASAP. I really hope you guys understand. Big hugs and kisses. Thank you everyone for all the kind words and support over these past few months, your words kept me going, even if I didn't feel I had anymore left to give. This save is a love letter to you all, the simblr community.

You didn't want to ask Rafe for help.
You never like doing it in general. The concept is foreign to you and it makes your skin crawl with a sense of dread, but you were desperate.
He hasn't come back to your bar in a while; probably off finding a new replacement for a fake girlfriend. Before, you hadn't given it much thought. You did decline. However, now, you wish he hadn't found one yet. Now, the offer sounds appetizing given the situation you're in.
You need to get in contact with him. You knew that showing up to the Tannyhill estate would raise questions but you didn't know where he would be. An idea suddenly popped up in your head and you decided to scroll through social media and find the nearest Kook party. You found one, just uploaded fifteen minutes ago, at Topper's house.
Parking in the street, you stare at the party in full swing. It has been a while since you've been to a party—too focused on working full-time at Sailor and taking care of your siblings—and the idea of going in unnerves you. You were still in uniform, well, it's something you try to wear everyday to get tips. A simple black crop top and a mini skirt. You find it ironic that you were at least dressed for the part.
Leveling some confidence, you push open the creaky door of your old car and head inside. It is absolutely crowded with people, with girls and guys drinking and dancing outside in the yard, near the pool, on the porch. Your eyes glaze over every single one of them, trying to find the one person you hope would be here.
You find Rafe near the back porch of the mansion. He's with a couple of his buddies, Topper being among them, and a girl on his arm as he holds a beer with the same hand. You weren't surprised in the slightest. This was his plan after all. You were just surprised by the feeling in your stomach.
The lick of jealousy you didn't understand where it came from.
You step up. His friends were the first to notice you, scanning over your body that you wish you had worn a jacket over yourself. When you are just in front of him, his gaze finally focuses and meets your gaze.
"Can we talk?" You ask, sparing no attention to the girl on him.
He scoffs, "fuck off."
Of course he's going to be an asshole. You didn't bother with entertaining his comment by grabbing his arm, pulling him up. You knew you didn't have the strength to take him completely so you were pleasantly surprised when he assisted and got up. He even pushed the girl to the side as you dragged him off to somewhere quiet.
Well, as quiet as the live party can be.
"What do you want?"
His words are sharp and harsh, but you expected nothing less. You figured something happened—that's why he entertains his vices, right?—and plus, you told him that you wanted nothing to do with him. If anything, he has a bit of justification to be pissed.
But that doesn't mean you would accept it.
"I was going to talk to you about your offer, but seeing as you're being too much of an ass, I guess I should come back another time," you snap, turning around to head out because fuck him. You weren't going to take it. You had other things to do. You would be forgiving, perhaps, if he actually talked to you about his problem but to be a dick off the bat? Not a chance in hell.
"Wait," he grabs your arm before you move far and this contrasts the strength you hold. One hand and a lazy attempt to hold you in place. "What do you want?"
He said that somewhat nicer.
You turn back with a glare, contemplating what to do, before remembering what's at stake. You're already here. Might as well get it over with.
"I'll do it." You say, your voice coming out smaller than you intended. It’s so embarrassing to ask for help. It feels even more so to backtrack into something you said you couldn't—wouldn't—do. "Be your fake girlfriend, I mean."
The corner of his lips quirks into an amused smile. Even in his drunk state, where his blond hair is darkened from the humidity of the space and his eyes glossed over, you can't help but admit how attractive he is. "Couldn't stay away, could you?"
"I'm not trying to be the next Mrs. Cameron," you snap, feeling the need to clarify. "But, I do need the payout."
His eyes narrow. "Thought you didn't want it?"
"I don't," you answer. "It's something else."
He tilts his head to the side, studying you. "What?"
Sighing, you wished you could talk somewhere more private. But, this truly is the best place you can get him. "When you get your father's company and start doing all the Kook bullshit of hosting charity events, galas, and dinners, I want you to use Sailor as your drink caterer."
It sounded like a good deal when you thought of it. You didn't want the money because you don't know how long this little facade is going to last. You needed something stable. You need something that would benefit you in the long-run. Since Sailor has been slipping off the profit margins and you've been dealing with some trouble regarding its ownership, you figured the business from all the catering would boost it up. It would give you status and credit. It would benefit you long after this engagement with Rafe ends.
His eyes look thoughtful of the idea. You wonder how he's calculating, how he's weighing the options about whether to accept your negotiation or to decline—telling you he already found a replacement. You hope it wasn't the latter. You needed this.
"No."
You clench your jaw. Of course. The one time you sought out help, instead of cleaning up the mess yourself, you got shut down. It's embarrassing.
"Fine." You say, ripping your arm out of his grasp and heading straight to the exit. You want to leave as soon as possible and use the time you should've spent going here to actually come up with a solution. It was a wasted effort on your end. You make a mental note of that.
Just a few steps short of the exit, some guy nearby grabs your arm and holds you in place. "Where you going, pretty?" He slurs his words, his eyes cascading down your body that you wished you pulled down the length of your skirt. "I didn't get the chance to talk to you."
You try to rip your arm off of his but his grip is firm. "Leave me alone."
"Come on, pretty," he gets closer, his intoxication reeking from his breath that you had to turn your head to avoid the smell. "I can make you feel real good."
Your hand clenched by your side while the other places a palm directly on his chest, trying to place some distance between you and the stranger before you commit to your next move. "If you don’t leave me alone—"
It happened in a flash. One minute he's holding you, the second he's getting knocked back with a punch delivered straight on the mouth.
You look up to see Rafe, his knuckles clenched and redden while the beer he was cradling had dropped on the ground into a million broken pieces. His breathing heavy while his eyes are a little distant, lagged out.
"Rafe," you call out, but before he gets the chance to face you, the drunk stranger comes staggering back with a punch in return. The crowd gasps and quickly moves out of the way as a circle forms, Rafe and the man trading swings.
No one is helping them. No one is attempting to. Rafe is significantly more drunk than the stranger, his footing is slightly off, and the drunkard is getting in more decks on Rafe's face.
When Rafe tries to duck from a delivery, the guy does directly to his stomach and it causes him to topple over with a grunt.
Having enough, you step forward and grab the stranger's shoulder. He turns around with a look of confusion—just in time for you to deck him as hard as your hand can swing, right in the face.
"Shit!" You swear under your breath, the blow rippling back and returning straight to your fist, aching.
The stranger staggers back, his back hitting the floor while you grab Rafe. You don't know where you're going, you don't know the layout of this house, but pushing through the crowd, you find an empty bedroom and slam the door close with a lock.
Thankfully, it had a bathroom attached to it. You set Rafe on the mattress as you flick the lights on and search for the cabinets for any aid. Rafe's bottom lip is busted, there's a cut on one of his brows, and bruising forming against his jawline. You don't even want to think about the mess on his knuckles.
Finding a first aid kit, you step back to see Rafe laid out against the mattress, his eyes closed. You rush to his side, afraid he has a concussion and he's falling asleep.
"Rafe!" You shout, hitting his cheeks with the back of your hand in light taps, causing his eyes to flutter open. "You can't do that."
Willing himself back to a sitting position with your assistance, you set the first aid kit to the side as you attempt to help him. Using your hands to cradle his face, you assess the damages.
"Where'd you learn to punch like that?" He asks, the heat of his gaze follows you as you remove your touch.
You shrug. "You need to learn two things growing up in The Cut," you hold up a finger, "how to deliver a good right hook,"
You pause for a moment.
Impatiently, he prompts. "And?"
You hold up his gold signet ring and his watch. "How to take advantage of a drunk."
He scoffs, snatching his things out of your grasp as you laugh, releasing some tension in your shoulders. "Pogue." He sneers.
"Kook." You retort, but there's a lightness in your tone.
Rafe says nothing as you return to your search through the aid kit. When you find what you were looking for, you start on his face, first cleaning the cut around his brow.
He hisses at the sting, but allows you to continue. It was an awkward position to be in, sitting beside him as you try to clean the damage, and he must've noticed how irritated you were getting with his constant shifts away from the pain. Without a word, he grabs your waist and pulls you into his lap with one swoop, both legs on either side of his waist as his hands settle on the small of your back.
"Better?" He questions, raising a brow.
You don't say anything, attempting to adjust your skirt rising up to your hips, before you nod.
Cleaning the wound, you tilt your head to examine what your next step should be. It's hard to figure out because the bruise is slowly forming and while the cut may be small right now, it's going to be nasty tomorrow.
To ease some tension of the silence, you prompt with a conversation. "You got into another fight with your dad?"
He stiffens under you, clenching his jaw. "What makes you say that?"
You feel his eyes trained on your face, but you refuse to acknowledge it. "Because you're out here getting drunk instead of getting wasted at my bar."
Rafe smirks. "Miss me?"
"No, it was good for business." You say, matter-of-fact, and the look on his face dies off. You feel guilty. Adding on, you rectify, "and, you would've had someone to talk to. I don't think the people around here are offering that."
He says nothing, watching you work. You exchanged the bloodied pads for some ointment.
"It's just about Sarah again." He mutters, almost like he didn't want you to hear but knowing you would. "Same shit. Same golden child."
You nod, finally flicking your gaze down to his. His blue eyes are so prominent now, so clear, you wonder if you could get lost in them.
Rafe doesn't disclose any details like he normally does. When he goes on long tangents about the problem. It must've been bad. So, you lower your hand and cup his face, tilting his face to meet yours. "Want to talk about it?"
He swallows hard. "I don't want to talk."
"What do you want to do?"
"Fuck." He answers without a thought, the ability to shift into a fuck-mode is easier than digesting his feelings. You laugh, inappropriately, dropping your hand from his cheeks. You're about to push yourself off his lap—having bandaged him up—and let him go find his next hookup, but his grip on your waist tightens.
He doesn't say anything with that move, and you tilt your head at him.
"I thought I was below your level?" You tease.
"Yet, you're sitting on my dick right now," he says, eyes following yours. "What do you think that means?"
While you're not directly on him, you can feel his hard-on swelling under his pants, lightly grazing against your core, and causing a small ache between your legs.
"That you're horny enough to go for a Pogue."
He scoffs, lowering his hands to your ass and palms the flesh. Your eyes flutter close at the moment. "Who knew you were hiding such a nice body behind that counter?"
"You just haven't been paying attention."
"I am now."
His hands lowering to your hips, slowly pulling you down his lap, realigning your cunt until it sits directly on top of his zipper. He leans forward, his hot mouth against your ear. "If I tell you to grind on me, would you do it?"
You place a hand on his chest, trying to ease some space between the two of you, but your attempt was weak. Some part of you didn't want to leave.
"You're pushing it."
"What if I told you it would make me feel better?" He whispers, his fingers trailing up your skirt, against your bare thighs, leaving goosebumps in its wake. "That you can consider it part of your deal."
Your breath hitch in surprise. "You're saying yes?"
"I was going to," he pulls back to meet your face, "but you ran away."
"You said no to me," you remind him.
"To rile you up," he says, like an asshole, and you scoff. "Didn't think you would just leave like that."
"Maybe you should give me clear answers then."
"Fine," his breath is right in front of yours. "I want you to ride me."
Your eyes trail his face, your hands finding his shoulders. You know you shouldn't. You know if this is supposed to be fake, why do you feel a deep, carnal urge for him. If this happens, it opens the door to other things. But, something in you softens. He did get a bruise for you. He did defend you. He's in pain and you're in need.
Maybe you could use each other.
Slowly, your hips roll against his. The look on his face hints at surprise that you took the bait and causes you to smirk, gripping his shoulders harder when you find the hard cock lined against your panties. You press down.
"Fuck," he groans raspily, "just like that."
The praise lights something in you. "Like that?" You repeat, pushing yourself against his jeans, rubbing up and down, that you can feel him grow harder and harder against the seams of his pants. He nods shakily. "Is it making you feel better, baby?"
He knows you're taunting him, using his words, but he fucking loves it. You're listening. For once, you're not actively trying to spite him and knock back—but willing, to him.
"That's right," he compliments, his gaze following your body as you are starting to find a rhythm against him. Your movements are getting sloppier. "Just what I need. A Pogue who listens to whatever I fucking say."
You nod vigorously, feeling your wetness growing against your panties, drenching the material enough to leak through and rub off against the front of his pants.
"God, look at you," he muses in your ear, glancing down, and a chuckle leaves his throat. "You made such a mess."
"Feel so good," you moan, you tip your head back as the friction of his jeans feels incredibly perfect against your swollen clit.
"Come on, sweetheart," his grip around your waist tightens, afraid with the way you're moving, you're going to fall off. "Ride me."
You follow his direction, quickening your pace as low groans and rasps leaves his lips at the sensation you're making him feel. The sound is like drugs to you, fueling you, because you want to desperately help him arrive at his own climax.
You wrap both your arms around his neck, grinding ruthlessly against his lap. Leaning forward, you dip your face into the crook of his neck. "Come on, Rafe," you whisper into his ear, closing into your own orgasm. "Come for me."
As you came with a moan, your movements didn't stop. Your legs ache, begging to stop, but you want him to get there too.
"Fuck, fuck," he moans at your aggression, at how hard you're pressed against him, moving against him, it's a mesmerizing sight. "I'm coming."
You feel it against your core. The subtle twitch of his dick under the jeans. The faint wetness under you, mixed with your own cum, produces a small smile against your lips.
You slow your grind, pulling back, just to meet his eyes clearing from their post-orgasmic haze, and his grip has weakened significantly around your body. When you stop completely, you push yourself off of him, finding your feet on solid ground with wobbly legs.
"Better?" You tease, to which he nods weakly through heavy-lids. With a satisfied smile, you turn around and head for the door.
"I'll see you on our first date."

Day 8 - Reunion
Drew out a little snippet from @donze-trash's fic for @mesdelostrescaballeros2024!!
Part of a larger continuity being uploaded on ao3! Read it below ⬇️
Donald pulled up outside the apartment where Panchito was staying and took a deep, fortifying breath. Of course he was excited to see his friend again! Of course he was excited for The Three Caballeros to be once more reunited, even if only for a day. There was just that one catch—he felt bad even calling it a catch, like it was somehow a bad thing that he and Zé had finally professed their love for one another—but it would always be awkward telling Panchito. Surely, the duck thought with an internal groan, things would unavoidably change within the trio.
To make it all worse, José had been away on flight shifts when Panchito arrived in town, and Donald had agreed to only break the news when his new boyfriend had returned. He was a terrible liar about this kind of thing: his tongue got all tied up and his beak chattered when he spoke. How in the hell was he supposed to—?
The Donald Duck Pity Party was cut short as sharp, energetic chatter caught his ear from the street: Panchito was being seen off and heading straight for the car. Donald flung himself toward the back seat, toward the gift José had planned to hand over today, and hastily threw a spare blanket over it. The thick, scratchy wool did a decent job of concealing the obvious shape of a brand new guitar, at least if you didn't pay it mind. They'd give it to him when they were all together. That's how they were supposed to do things. Together.
Panchito appeared, waving goodbye to someone before bounding out of the apartment complex. His face lit up when he saw Donald, and before Donald could even get a word out, Panchito had leapt into the front seat, pulling him into a bear hug. His wide sombrero wobbled dangerously, but he didn't seem to care.
"¡Ay caramba, amigo! What took you so long to get here?" Panchito exclaimed, yanking Donald into his arms despite protest from his seatbelt, all to kiss Donald's cheek with his usual enthusiasm.
"'Ey, Pancho! How you doin' amigo?" The duck choked out, finding it a little easier to act natural amid the strangulation.
Panchito released Donald to pinch his cheek playfully. "Better with you here! I've been working on that new song I told you about last night! What about you? What have you been up to all day?"
"I'm doin' swell! And nothing much! Been taking 'er easy today." He lied, and not well—he was already talking too much. "Excited, though! Not every day I get to hang out with my two best pals!" Donald pulled away from Panchito's hold in order to return his attention to driving, feeling too awkward to linger in the warm hold, however much he usually would.
The charro clicked the seatbelt into place and leaned back in his seat, apparently unfazed by the duck's haste. "Ay güey, I'm just hyped that we are finally getting together again for a change. So, what are we doing this time? Are we gonna hit up the club so hard we get kicked out again? Or maybe reopen the Magical Mythical Monster Petting Zoo from Scrooge's secret vault? Or how about we raid the Anvilania embassy and get the ambassador drunk again? You know she still calls me."
Donald nodded, absolutely not absorbing anything the rooster was clucking about in favor of focusing on the road. He was happy, of course; his friend's exuberance was infectious to say the least. It had indeed been too long since they got to hang out like this as a group… but a part of him still felt tense. He chanced another glance at the vaquero—oblivious, humming merrily, a long leg resting against the door as he propped up his foot on his knee and took up what little space his seat offered. He wished he could feel so carefree.
When they arrived at the little airport, Panchito's excitement was hard to miss. Before the car could even finish pulling up to the 15-minute zone, he'd unbuckled and bolted out of the car window, running ahead towards the tarmac and calling out for Zé at the top of his lungs.
"Yeah, don't wait up or nothing!" Donald called after him with a roll of his eyes. Crazy bird, he hadn't even put the car into park yet!  The lighthearted atmosphere Panchito had cultivated was at war with the impulse to complain bubbling inside him because he wanted see Zé first, to get a chance to hold his boyfriend first before they had to act respectably platonic in front of their none the wiser companion. It wasn't jealousy, not exactly, just…
One hug, one second to let the weight of the week melt off was all he wanted. But that wasn't happening. Not yet. Instead, he'd have to wait and keep playing the part.
"Great," he muttered, jerking on the car's parking brake. "Just act natural. Simple."
The airport, while always abuzz with people from all walks of life and from every corner of the globe, was relatively less hectic on a weekday like this, and José was all the more grateful for it. Deplaning the small jet from Panama was fairly routine and done quickly, leaving Zé with a little free time before he met up with his friends. He brought with him his single suitcase, loaded with more clothes than his usual amount, plus some souvenirs from Brazil and the several other countries he had stopped in during the work week. There were things for the kids back at the manor, plus a homemade gaúcho style poncho pala made by his vovó for Della (whom the old bird had assumed was still freezing from her time on the Moon).  Strapped to the outside of the suitcase (because it could not fit) and wrapped in cloth was José's gift to Donald, a new hammock for his houseboat. He hoped he would like it.
Walking to the exit, Zé attempted to steal himself for the reunion to come. Not so much for seeing Donald, though his blood ran quick with excitement for him to be sure. But Panchito, whom he had not seen since they met for that ill-fated holiday to Bahia that never came to fruition. They had kept in constant contact even after their break up, though it caused pain on both sides. They had been determined to preserve their eternal friendship even in the face of romantic disappointment. And though it took some years for Zé to be able to look the rooster in the face without the unbearable ache in his chest urging him to take it all back and try again, he never wanted to lose sight of what drew him and the other two Caballeros together in the first place. They were his family, no matter what happened.
Even when I act like a stupid teenager and run crying to my ex-boyfriend about my hopeless crush, which turned out to be not so hopeless after all because we're together now and— Merda!
Zé closed his eyes and inhaled slowly. It was very good that he had this spare moment to compose himself as he entered the airport proper.
The distant sound of a familiar crow cut through the din of the crowd, stopping Zé in his tracks. That voice—there was no mistaking it. And like the call to sunrise, it made his heart want to leap into the sky. Spotting a tall flash of red, and a hat that he insisted was too big for his head, standing tall amongst the crowd, Zé dropped his suitcase and his umbrella and ran forward like his tail was on fire. Before he even had time to think about it, he was launching himself into Panchito's arms. The rooster caught him instantly, just like old times.
"¡¡AAAAAAJAJAJAJAJA!!" Panchito's triumphant grito echoed across the terminal. His grip was tight, almost desperate, and his wide grin spoke volumes. Zé could feel the emotion radiating from him—Panchito had missed him more than words could ever say, that much was clear. His whole body seemed to hum with excitement.
"José!! Mi cielo!" Panchito crowed, his voice overflowing with affection as he slowly, reluctantly, released the green parrot.
Zé smiled warmly, returning the sentiment. "It is so good to see you, docinho!" His tone was as light and affectionate as ever. "It has been too long!"
"No manches, pendejo, it's only been a few months!" Panchito guffawed, his eyes sparkling with unfiltered happiness. His grin stretched wide as he shook his head in disbelief, the warmth in his expression unmistakable. The man was an open book, his emotions always worn on his sleeve.
The malandro chuckled softly, adjusting his hat. "Well, yes, but it has been twice as long since the three of us have been—" He stopped, scanning the area. "Espere, onde está o Donald?"
Panchito's expression shifted briefly—a flicker of realization, maybe impatience. He glanced back toward the car, where Zé knew Donald must still be catching up. The vaquero's elation had clearly driven him to rush ahead, leaving their other friend behind. Zé could almost feel the mixture of emotions brewing under Panchito's playful exterior, a familiar tug of longing buried in the joy of reunion.
But Zé knew better than to bring that up. He simply smiled again, his voice calm, teasing. "Always in a rush, eh  mano?"
"Life is too short to sit still," the rooster replied assuredly, and his hand which still rested on his waist in a half hug pulled him in for just an instant, a punctuation to the point.
"Hey, ya found 'im! Over here, guys!!!!" a distinctive voice cut through the busy hum of the arrival hall and Zé immediately turned towards the sound, his heart immediately catapulting into the stratosphere.
"DONAL'!" he and Panchito shouted in unison, their voices echoing across the platform. The moment the malandro caught sight of Donald looking flustered and determined as ever as he weaved through the crowd, all the excitement, the nerves, the longing came rushing back to him. He broke from Panchito's hold to sprint to him with ever increasing urgency, his heart pounding not from exertion but from sheer jubilation.
Quickly he closed the distance between them, throwing his arms around the sailor and pulling him into a tight embrace. He fit into his arms perfectly, and for a moment he didn't want to let go. Donald absorbed the impact with ease and let Zé down safely, the rest of the world seeming to melt away in an instant. Zé quickly buried his face into Donald's shoulder, feeling the comforting weight of his lover's arms around him. There was relief, adoration, and an overwhelming sense of peace. Even for just a fleeting moment, everything felt right—like he was where he belonged.
"Meu querido..." Zé whispered softly, just for Donald, though he didn't linger on the words. He knew this interlude was fleeting.
Sure enough, as if sensing their private moment was up, Donald's voice broke through their quiet intimacy. "Panchito...?" Donald called, one arm still wrapped around Zé as he extended the other towards their rambunctious rooster to include him.
Zé was too distracted with cuddling up to his sailor's side to register the gleam in Panchito's eye, at first. As it was, it was only the loud, triumphant yell that signaled their impending doom, and the parrot felt he had little choice but to make sure he didn't endure it alone, his arm holding his duck in place.
"No, wait—!" Donald started, but it was too late.
Panchito came down hard from where he had launched himself into the air like a luchador delivering his finishing move. Elbow extended, he crashed into the two of them with the energy of a firecracker bursting on impact. Donald let out a choked WAK! of surprise, his arms flailing as he was knocked clean off balance. Zé, caught in the middle of it all, simply accepted his fate with a laugh, not even trying to brace for the collision.
They tumbled down in a heap of feathers, beaks, and limbs, Zé wedged between his two best friends, both of them piled on top of Donald, who lay sprawled at the bottom. He could feel Donald wheezing beneath him, dazed from the sudden assault, while Panchito—of course—was perched victoriously at the top of the pile, leaning on one elbow like he owned the world.
"Órale! ¿Que te pasa? You were supposed to catch me!" Panchito chortled, looking entirely too pleased with himself as he flashed a wide, playful grin down at the both of them. "I could have gotten hurt!"
"God forbid…" Donald rasped weakly.
Zé couldn't help but chuckle, even as he lay squashed in the middle. Completely unconcerned by the chaos, he wiggled into a more comfortable position between them, his head resting against Donald's back. He could feel the frantic beat of his partner's heart beneath his cheek, could hear the shallow breaths as Donald tried to recover. There was no tension, no frustration. Just pure, unbridled affection. Even in moments like this—especially in moments like this—Zé felt nothing but love for the both of them.
This was how it had always been with the three of them. Chaos and laughter, roughhousing and tenderness, all tangled together in one messy, beautiful friendship.
"Well, caras," Zé sighed contentedly, "it is good to be back where I belong."
"Where, with all of ya on top of me?" the sailor beneath him groaned, barely able to get out a full breath with all the pressure bearing down on him.
Don't tempt me, the malandro thought before immediately shelving it for later.

My surgery is tomorrow!!! ✨💕🥰✨💕🥰
Tumblr media
(Picture taken June 23, 2024)
I'm very very excited for my surgery (it's my second gender affirming surgery but this one is more significant to me since it'll be top and bottom surgery) and I was obviously counting the days until it and I thought some people might be interested in my trans journey 🏳️‍⚧️ I finished up most of the story a few days ago so now I'll towards future under the cut! 🌈🌈🌈
With these surgeries I feel like I'm completing the "main campaign" and all that'll be left will be "side quests"
Like I will still have voice training. Also hair removal and getting my birth certificate updated.
Oh!! That's other things I forgot to mention in early posts 😅
I got my name legally changed in the summer of 2021. I just paid a lawyer to handle it for me with my stimulus check money. And I remember getting an updated social security was a whole process 😮‍💨 Now I just need to get my birth certificate updated before I lose the chance to 🙃
Also it was in 2022 that I got laser hair removal. The place locally had this weird plan where you pay for an area and it's pretty expensive but it covers all sessions you can keep coming back for life if there's ever any regrowth (which their definitely was). Honestly, I have a lot of really light hair so I'll be finishing it off Electrolysis.
I had a consultation for body contouring a month or so ago. And she said that she didn't recommend it since I had so little fat that it would be very risky and have minimal results 😔 She did say that she could do a tummy tuck since I have a bit of loose skin there 😅 But she said it would be one of the most painful surgeries which made sense to me as bc I remember they pulled a little bit of fat for my FFS from there and that was the most painful part 😬 Also getting a big scar just to get rid of a bit of flabbiness, especially if I couldn't also get an ass out of it just did not seem worth it. Maybe in a decade when my metabolism goes down, I'll reconsider it. I'll have to go in to replace my implants anyways 🤷♀️
Oh!! I'll make sure to upload a picture after I get the surgery! But it might be a few days
But after this surgery I'll done for awhile, finally 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 But life is all about change so I doubt I'll ever consider myself fully done with transitioning. I'm excited to see the person I'll become 🥰🥰🥰
Also thank you everyone who left kind messages in the tags and comments 🥺🥺🥺

MAKEUP~Lando Norris
Tumblr media
More uploads, more F1!!!
!!!NOT PROOFREAD!!!
Type~Fluff
Lando Norris x fem!reader
You always did your makeup in front of Lando. Even once you started dating and he would spend the night, you'd go to bed all natural and wake up, have breakfast, do skincare, blah, blah and do your makeup. Lando always watched closely, watching you do full glam on nights where you went out on the town and clean girl makeup when you went to go visit his family. He always admired your work. The way you sculpted your eyebrows, the way you'd always put three small dots of liquid blush on your cheekbone and the eyelash curler which he called a "eye tourture device." One day, you were being unproductive, everything was cleaned by you and Lando around and inside the house the day before, so now you had nothing to do. But then, you had a creative idea. You get up and watch towards your bathroom. You get out your makeup supplies, setting it all on the counter before you hopped up on the bathroom counter and sat in the sink, almost like you and the mirror were having a very close and intamite talk. You hum as you slowly start putting on your makeup, you were trying out new makeup style, just going with the flow and seeing if you would try anything new. Lando was orginally next to you on your shared bed, once you went to the bathroom, he paid no attention, just scrolling on his phone, but then he heard clinking and the humming. He always knew you were doing your makeupif you were humming. You didn't put on music while you did your makeup, finding it too distracting and scared you would mess up with your makeup. Lando get up and walked into the bathroom, he looks at your seating arrangment and starts laughing. "Hey gorgeous." He says, chuckling. "Hi sweetie." You mumble, blending out the concealer under your bottom lip. You go back to hummong and doing your makeup as you still hear Lando snicker from behind you. "Can you notttt?" You whine and turn back to face him. Then suddenly, you had an idea. Lando looked at you nervous and confused as you smiled wickedly at him. Then, the gears all clicked into action and he got the memo. "Oh no. oh no no no no no, your not doing my makeup!" He starts backing away as you hop off the counter and start slowly edging towards him. "Nope!" He yells before running away, but you chase after him. After a little wild goose chase around the house, you back him into a corner, and get you eyelash curler our of your pocket. "No escaping now." You smirk. Before he has a chance to slip past you, you jump on top of him, causing you both to land on the ground. "Let's do this." You giggle." "Ugh... no...." Lando complains. "And....done!" You exclaim as you back away from Lando. His eyebrows were done, highlighter on his nose and corner of his eyes and eyelashes were done. He looks at himself in the bathroom mirror, looking from all sides before he gives a nod of approval. "I look soooo sexy.." He puts out a couple of poses, a flash goes off and Lando looks at you. Your phone in you hands as you start to laugh some more. "Don't post that." Lando warns you. "Hm..." You pretended to think. "I'm serious!" He starts to sound desperate. "Instagram is gonna love this!" You giggle and Lando starts chasing you, this time, causing another chase.

hey, love your fic recs, would love to see youtuber au if you have any 🥰
Thank you! Now, here's what I found:
Of Green Beans and YouTube by nerdfightingwhovian
Stiles has a YouTube show that is essentially Hannah Hart's "My Drunk Kitchen" where he cooks food drunk but actually pretty well. Derek is a serious chef on YouTube. He has cookbooks that you can buy in actual stores and stuff. He's the real deal.
Stiles' video-block is fixed when he stumbles across Derek guest-starring on a Food Network show. In a rush of inspiration he starts a new series where he cooks Derek's recipes drunk. Derek finds out about the show and instead of being angry, he's intrigued by the guy cooking and throwing things around his kitchen while drinking too much alcohol.
Who's Sourwolf?? by Star_crossed02
Based on Kris' prompt:
YouTuber Stiles doing a livestream when mysterious boyfriend comes in to kiss Stiles and everyone freaking out.
I twisted it a bit, but hopefully you'll like it.
Stop @’ing Me (It’s Giving me Anxiety) by isthatbloodonhisshirt
Derek… had no idea what to say. Or how to react. Or what to even feel.
What the hell was going on?
He immediately went to YouTube to check his video, and the first thing he noticed was that his subscriber count had indeed changed, just as he’d suspected.
Except not in the direction he’d anticipated.
When he’d gone to bed, he’d still been a few thousand subscribers away from one million. Something like seventeen or eighteen thousand away.
He was now staring at his subscriber count sitting at over one million by a fair margin.
“What the fuck?” he whispered to himself, and went to look at his newest video about AllAboutMischief. It was sitting at three-hundred thousand views in the first hour, and had more comments than he’d ever gotten on any of his videos since he began uploading.
“What the fuck?” he whispered again, a little more desperately.
I'll Be Your Robin by mikkimouse
"You're sitting in my background!" Stiles waved behind him. "Can't you just scoot to the left by, like, two feet? Or go to the library until I'm done?"
Derek scowled, and really, that angry look shouldn't turn Stiles on as much as it pisses him off. "I don't have room to scoot two feet to the left. And the last time I left the room while you were recording, I ended up getting stuck outside until midnight."
"I had to do multiple takes!"
Derek's scowl didn't lift. "You yelled at me when I came in here to go to bed."
Good for you by lilysaid
Completely by chance, I saw a "human boyfriend for werewolf roleplay" ASMR video on YouTube and thought 1. Stiles would totally do something as reckless as making an ASMR channel for werewolves 2. He would be really good at it and 3. It would definitely blow up in his face.
The Curly Fries Show with Stiles Stilinski by greenleaf
“Curly fries are only for the brave, so is love.” -- Five times Stiles interviewed celebrities for his popular YouTube show, ‘The Curly Fries Show with Stiles Stilinski’, and one time he was the one interviewed.
Or
Five times Stiles hung out with his attractive, adorable, bashful, architect building-mate Derek Hale and one time he hung out with his attractive, adorable, bashful, architect building-mate, boyfriend Derek Hale.
Ink Me by AsagiStilinski
Derek is never going to find his soulmate, because there's no way in hell there exists a man named Mieczyslaw in Beacon Hills
Then Erica hires Stiles
Daddy Do's by apocryphal
“Hi Mr. Stilinski!” Lydia said pertly. “My name’s Lydia, and this is my daddy. His name is Derek Andrew Hale and he watches all of your videos on YouTube a lot, but he still can’t braid.”
[Stiles is a celebrity YouTube hairstylist. Derek may or may not have a crush. Lydia just wants a French braid for school picture day.]
My Stupid Boyfriend Tag by ALoza
Stiles is a Youtuber, and this is Derek's first time on camera.
Thirsty and trapped by TalesoftheEnchantedForest
Stiles has a YouTube channel and decides to film a video where he reacts to thirst traps.
Then he promptly falls in love with one of the men, but it's not like they would ever meet in real life, right?

Finally Getting Help (prt. 10)
Mastterpost
A/N: Thank you all for the well wishes about my dog. Unfortunately he didn't make it and pass away Tuesday morning in the vet's office. I was able to get some writing done but I don't have the energy to edit. Let me know if you find any mistakes.
-----
Jason: hey, thanks for the gun and the tech, it's really cool.
Danny: new phone who dis 😝
Jason: I hope you haven't given too many people guns in the last couple days.
Danny: no I haven't, thanks for texting me Jason. Have you got a chance to try the gun?
Jason: not on anything moving, I've been doing some target practice to get a feel for it though. Looking forward to when I can test it on Vlad.
Danny: aww are you going to avenge my honor 🥺
Jason: if you want me too. I'll bring you his head if you want me too.
Danny: 🥰 you're so sweet. I wouldn't say no to seeing him suffer for what he's done but don't get yourself in any trouble okay? And if you do call me right away. I'll come rescue you 😘
Jason: hey I'm the one offering to protect you!
Danny: we can protect each other. And fight each other, can you come spar again soon?
Jason: I wouldn't call that sparring, more like brawling.
Danny: eh potato potato, do you want to come fight me again?
Jason: if demon brat won't kill me for it, sure. Can I take you out for dinner afterwards? I have some questions
Danny: It's a date! Just tell me when
Jason: Day after tomorrow? I have some work to take care of first.
Danny: Sounds great! And it is a date right? You don't mind that I'm going to have kids?
Jason: the kids aren't a deal breaker I promise but let's not jump the gun okay? We're going to be family through B so we don't want this to blow up in our faces. Let's hang out, take it slow, see how it goes. You need to be careful about who you let into your life now anyway, you can't just let anyone around you and the babies.
Danny: don't tell me what to do 😠 but you're right. I'm bad about rushing into things. I'm still looking forward to it.
Danny: By the way Jazz uploaded the power point she made about Liminals and Ghosts to the bat’s server thing. You have access to that right? You should read that before we meet and I can fill in the gaps.
Jason: Sounds good, I’ll have a look at it and I’m looking forward to it too. I'll be there at 5 so we can spar before dinner. Don't forget to warn B and your guard dog.
Danny: Damian is a good kid. I'll let them know.
Danny stared at his new phone Tim had given him with apprehension. The chat with Jason had gone very well, and Danny was glad he reached out but there were other people he really needed to reach out to and he was… frankly scared. Sam and Tucker were his best friends and had always been there for him but they both had tempers. Would they be mad that he hadn’t told them he was pregnant? Would they be upset he had left Amity and wasn’t planning on coming back?
He needed to reach out though, the longer he waited the harder it would be to talk to them, and things wouldn’t stay calm as they were now. Vlad would be back to cause trouble again and even though the JLD had control of the portal but he was sure his rogues would find their way through eventually. Vlad had his own portal anyway, and Danny wouldn’t put it past him to open it just to annoy Danny. Maybe try and weaken him a little so Vlad could swoop in and pick him off.
Today was quiet, he needed to take this chance. He sighed and got up off the edge of his bed where he was sitting and ducked out of his room. He didn’t want to do this alone, so he wasn’t surprised when he found himself in the library where Jazz was studying.
He sat down across from her and reached across, laying his hand, palm up on the table. Without looking up from her book she reached over and placed her hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze. He smiled at her and took a deep breath before putting on his earbuds and sending a message in the group chat.
Danny: When you guys are ready can we call?
Jazz phone went off too and she checked it, smiled at Danny, and then silenced the chat and went back to her book. She didn’t need to be part of this call but at least she knew what he was doing.
Sam: Yes, let me just grab Tuck. He’s playing Doomed.
Danny took a deep breath and put down his phone while he waited for them to call and tried not to panic.
When the phone buzzed he jumped and reached for it, joining the call quickly.
“Hey guys,” He said, awkwardly, waving with the hand that wasn’t holding the phone.
“Hey yourself! What the heck happened Danny?! Basically the whole town joined in in chasing Vlad when we found out what he did but why did we have to find out on tv?! Why didn’t you tell us?!” Sam said, but at least she just seemed stressed, not actually angry.
“I’m sorry guys,” Danny said, wincing a little when he heard Tucker sniffling a little. “I hadn’t told anyone yet. I hadn’t even fully accepted it yet honestly.
“I still wasn’t ready to talk about it, bur Cass is really good at reading people's body language and I guess she clocked that I was carrying them by how I kept unconsciously touching my stomach. When she asked me about it it sorta broke through my denial and I broke down which started the ball rolling on… all this,” He said with a vague gesture.”
“All this is right! The justice league really brought the hammer down on Amity. They’re dismantling the GIW and really pissed at the government and basically all the adults in the town for letting this happen. And they arrested your parents!” Sam said sounding almost excited.
“Sam! That was really insensitive! They’re still his parents, what if he didn’t know!?” Tucker broke in furiously.
“No it’s alright I knew, Jazz told me. She’s here with me,” He said squeezing her hand though she wasn’t paying attention to the call.
“Okaaay so where is Here?” Tucker asked warily.
“Ya are you safe? We haven’t seen you since all this went down! Are you really with Bruce Wayne?” Sam asked sounding wary.
“Yes I am. He’s got a foster license and since his kids were the one that found out what was going on it just made sense that I’d stay here.”
“And he’s Not another Fruitloop?” Sam asked warily. “You need to be careful with these rich people you know? They’re basically all crazy!”
“Sam you’re rich,” Danny pointed out, amused.
“Ya, and? My point stands!”
“Fair enough,” Danny laughed. “But no, I did some snooping the first night I was here and it seems okay. And since he’s got close ties to the Justice League he was able to get the help we really needed, and he says he might be able to help me meet Martian Manhunter!”
“Don’t fanboy out too bad,” Tucker teased him.
“Oh ya? And what if I helped you meet Tim Drake? Would you not be just as bad,” Danny accused Tucker.
“Touche,” Tucker said. “Could you though?”
“I mean maybe? He’s my foster brother now and he seems cool. You two are my best friends, if I’m going to stay I’m sure you could come visit me and meet all of them.”
“Are you really going to stay there though? I mean once the GIW and everything is cleared out you could stay with either of us. I know my parents aren’t your biggest fans but I know they’d let you stay,” Sam said sounding worried.
“And I know my family doesn't have a ton of money but they adore you, we’d make it work,” Tucker added looking worried.
“No, guys I really appreciate the offer but… I don’t want to come back to Amity. The Justice League said they shut down the portal and I really need a fresh start I think. I think I’d rather stay here. Jazz too, she’s gonna study at Gotham U and intern at Arkham,” He said. She looked up at the mention of her name and gave him a small smile.
“I’m sorry, you guys are my best friends and I’ll miss you, but there are too many… memories in Amity you know?”
“Ya I get that,” Sam said, looking sad and distant.
“We can still call, and play Doomed together, and visit on breaks!” Tucker said, his chipper tone sounding a little forced. “We’re going to say friends!” He insisted and Danny smiled.
“Of course we will Tuck,” He promised. They might grow apart with the distance between them, but he hoped not, they really were his best friends.
“Ya, my parents will probably be thrilled about this development and want me to come over all the time. They love the Waynes,” Sam chuckled though her optimism also seemed a bit forced. Of course she was more of a pessimist, she probably thought they would drift apart, but knew Danny needed them right now.
“Soo what’s been going on in Amity since I left?” Danny asked, letting them ramble about the drama, the rumours, and the bullshit that was the bullies and everyone in the school sudden;y pretending they cared about Danny soooo much.
After they finished telling him about it there were a few beats of silence and Danny was just about to suggest they hang up when Sam spoke up again.
“So, what actually happened with Vlad? If you don’t want to talk about it that’s okay but…”
“No, it’s okay. It’s not what- what you’d think. It’s superhero bullshit really. When I wouldn’t be his son he decided to try and clone me, you met Dani with an I right? She was one of the clones. But he didn’t know I was trans, and my DNA got all fucked up in the portal so none of the clones were stable. I have no idea how many he tried to make that died. But when I found out it was because he had lied to Dani and told her he needed me to stabilize her clone brothers. It was a batch of ten.
“But he lied, he didn’t actually care about stabilizing them, he was going to let them all die. I was only able to save the two that were most stable and only by taking their cores into myself. So I’m not normal pregnant, I’m ghost pregnant.
What is my life huh?” He finished, chuckling awkwardly.
“Oh fuck,” Sam said her shoulders slumping a little even as her expression went through a range of emotions. “That’s better in a way but still a whole different type of fucked up! I hope they catch him soon.”
“I hope so too but I don’t think they will,” Danny said with a shrug. “Not before he tries something else. I’m not lucky enough to be able to just move past this,” He said with a bitter little laugh.
“Well, we can still hope. And even if he does cause trouble you have more allies now! You’ve been able to handle everything else he’s thrown at you basically on your own, with the Justice League behind you I know there’s nothing you can’t handle. I mean, Vlad is kind of pathetic anyway,” Tucker encouraged making Danny smile.
“Ya, you’re right, I’m sure it’ll be fine. Thanks guys,” he said fondly.
“Of course dude! We’re here for you!” Tucker said.
“It’s really good to hear from you too. Don’t be a stranger okay?” Sam said, a bit worried.
“Of course not, I’ll keep you posted I promise.” Danny assured before they said their goodbyes and he hung up.
He put down his phone and leaned back with a sigh, closing his eyes for a moment. Next to him Jazz chuckled and there was a soft snap as she closed her book.
“You did well little brother,” She told him, getting up from her seat she moved behind him and rested her hands on his shoulders.
“How do you know? You weren’t listening.”
“No, but you reached out to your friends and had an honest conversation which isn’t easy. You did well,” She reiterated, squeezing his shoulders.
“Well thanks Jazz. I hope that they’re right that we won’t lose touch, and I’ll be able to handle whatever Vlad does,” He grumbled.
“I’m sure we will,” Jazz promised. “And either way there’s no point in worrying about it now. Has Jason texted you yet?” She asked, giving Danny the excuse he needed to change the subject and launch into his more petty worries about the upcoming date as she sat back down to listen.

I feel like you should do False God 😏or like Forever and Always (with a twist) or any breakup song, but they end up meeting each other again at a party, and get back together. A solid fluff would be nice too tbh
🪞 - forever and always
Tumblr media
summary: you and chris were the perfect couple, or so you thought until you broke up. what happens when you run into each other a month later at a party?
warnings: smut, unprotected sex, oral f!receiving, drinking/alcohol, some angst
word count: 2,460
author's note: another re-upload from the summer. it's kinda giving cheesy romcom imo
------------------------୨୧------------------------
one month. thirty days. seven hundred twenty hours. forty-three thousand, two hundred minutes. two million, five hundred ninety-two thousand seconds. no matter which way you put it, it had been that long since the breakup with chris. that long of feeling agonizing heartbreak.
you sit in front of your vanity, applying glittery eyeshadow to your eyelids, making sure to pack it on there so your eyes pop. you're filled with a horrible sense of dread as you continue to apply your eye makeup, counting down the minutes until you'll have to see his face again; the first time since the breakup.
you couldn't back out of the party now. it was a birthday party for a mutual friend you and the triplets had in high school, actually the one who introduced you to them. you weren't ever super close with matt, nothing was remarkable about the bond you shared. just friends, plain and simple.
but you got close with nick fast, continuing to stay close with him throughout your ten month relationship with chris. that's why it hurt so much when you stopped talking to him. nothing against nick, of course, he was an amazing friend but you just couldn't bear the constant reminders he brought you of chris. you needed to cut them all off for your own sake.
“baby, what happened? please, tell me cause, one second, it was perfect now you’re halfway out the door”
you didn't even know how it had happened. one day something just changed in chris and he left. was it something you said? something you did? you didn't know. sure, you could've gotten closure by asking nick or you could even get it tonight at the party, but there's no chance.
“and i stare at the phone, he still hasn’t called and then you feel so low you can’t feel nothin’ at all and you flashback to when he said, “forever and always””
your goal for tonight's party was to get drunk, have fun, and forget about him. you had spent far too much of your time, waiting for the moment he comes back even though you knew deep down there's a chance he wouldn't. but that didn't stop you from perking up at every new notification, only to be disappointed when it's not him.
you finish your makeup before drying and styling your hair - still wet from the shower - and picking out an outfit. you put on a little black dress that chris bought for you when you were still together. you probably would've showed up on his arm in this very dress. but instead, you're wearing it in hopes that he'll regret ever leaving you.
you order an uber and arrive shortly after, your friend's house being close by. as soon as you get there, you're greeted by the host of the party along with a group of girls you were friends with in high school that had all drifted from each other after graduation. when you start taking shots together, you feel as close to them as you used to. for a split second, you feel okay, completely forgetting about chris.
until you glance over your shoulder and see him staring you down. you stare back for what feels like an eternity, but is really only a few seconds. you don't react, you don't really have time to before another shot is shoved into your hand. you take it and as you've barely swallowed it, you're being pulled away to go dance with your friends.
after a while of you dancing, you have to go to the bathroom. you make your way upstairs, and walk down the narrow hallway, trying not to bump into anyone. you're about to turn the doorknob to walk in when you hear a familiar voice behind you. it's nick. “hey, i haven't seen you in forever. how've you been?”
you were glad to run into him but you feel bad because you're the reason you haven't seen each other. “i'm good. umm just hold on a second. i'll be right back.” you go into the bathroom, shutting the door behind you. you take a moment to breathe before doing what you went in there for.
as you're washing your hands, you hear nick's voice followed by another one you recognize all too well. you should've known this would happen, wherever one was, the other two often weren't far. it had always been that way. you hope and pray that it could just be matt, maybe he has a sore throat or something. please, just let it be matt with a sore throat.
you finally open the door and as you take a step out, you almost walk right into chris. of course, the one you did not want to see. “excuse me,” you say, not unkindly but with an expression he can't quite read, as you try to side step him. “wait, princess, please.”
him using his nickname for you makes something inside you break, but also makes you angry. “you can't call me that anymore, not after you left.” he reaches for your arm which you quickly pull away. “please, give me a chance to talk to you. we can work things out. i miss you.”
“i miss you too, but i hate you for what you did. you broke your promise, chris.” nick has walked away by this point, wanting to give you two space to talk things out. “i know i did but-” you're quick to cut him off. “i'm not done! it wasn't fair of you to do that to me. you promised, you said “forever and always” but you still left me. you fucking broke me like i was nothing and you just expected me to be okay with it.” tear after tear is streaming down your face by now with no sign of stopping anytime soon. “and after all that, you expect me to just let you say “i know i did” as if that's supposed to make everything better.”
his heart breaks watching you cry, seeing how much he hurt you. guilt takes over him and you notice a few tears roll down his cheeks too. “i'm sorry, i really am. and i know it's not an excuse but i felt like i had to leave because i was afraid. the thought of being with one person for the rest of your life can be terrifying.” you're about to speak up but he continues before you can. “but i realize now that it's all i want. i want to be with you forever, i can't live without you.”
“well, you might have to learn to.” you walk past him, going down the hallway towards the stairs. “please, i love you!” he shouts over the music. you give him one last look, not saying a word before going downstairs. you go back down to find your friends while he shuts himself in the bathroom, wiping away the rapidly falling tears as it hits him just how much he fucked up.
you and chris don't see each other until way later into the night. almost everyone is intoxicated by this point, you lost count of how many shots you've taken. suddenly, yours and chris’ song was playing. several months ago, late at night while you two were cuddling in his bed, you agreed that having a “song” sounded cliché. but you both knew that if you had one, this would be it.
both of you, forgetting everything for a moment, search the room for each other. you find each other and within a matter of seconds, you're in each other's arms, kissing feverishly with an amount of passion neither of you had felt before. it felt as if you were the only two in the room. as your hands found their way to his back, you could practically feel the regret of leaving you dripping off chris.
“back up, baby, back up did you forget everything?”
you reluctantly pull away, still not 100% sure if you should be doing this. despite being as drunk as you are, you know this may not be right. but the pleading look in chris’ eyes are almost enough to change your mind. almost. “please, baby. just one last time and you never have to see me again. just let me taste you one last time.” that was what convinced you. if there was one thing you missed about chris, it was his tongue. “yes, let’s go,” you say, taking his hand and leading him upstairs to an empty guest bedroom.
as soon as the door is closed and locked behind you, he’s pushing you down on the bed and getting on top of you, kissing you again. within a matter of seconds, he’s gained access to your mouth and his tongue dances with yours. it feels so familiar and intoxicating, more so than the alcohol. he slips his hands down your sides and bunches the fabric of your skirt up around your hips. he runs his finger along your panty-covered slit as he trails wet, sloppy kisses down your neck and along your collarbone. soft gasps of pleasure escape your lips as he leaves marks across your skin.
he pulls away after giving you a final, playful bite. he pulls you forward so your legs are hanging off the bed and he gets on his knees. you lift your hips as he pulls your panties down, eyes locked with yours the whole time. you let out another small gasp as the cool air hits your wetness. he teasingly licks a stripe up your folds, but once he gets a taste of you, the slow, teasing nature goes away.
he lifts your knees, letting the backs of them rest on his shoulders as your legs hang down his back, crossed at the ankles. he practically buries his face in your pussy acting like he's been starved for a hundred years. your fingers tangle in his soft, brown curls as you moan and buck your hips closer to him.
he dips his tongue into your hole, causing yet another moan to escape your lips. his nose bumps your clit slightly so you buck your hips forward, craving more contact. he pulls his tongue out of you and before you can even protest, it's back in again. he gets faster with it and switches between that and lapping up the juices spilling from you as if this is his last time ever tasting you and he needs every single drop. he doesn't find a steady rhythm to it, he's quite sloppy, but it feels so good.
it's a drunken blur of grinding against him so his nose hits your clit just right and of his tongue making you feel lightheaded until you're crying out to him, legs shaking as you finish. “shit.. feels so- oh fuck!” he smirks up at you for a moment, and you take in his hazy blue eyes, and his lips and chin covered in your cum. he licks his lips before going right back in and lapping up every last drop he left behind, holding your hips down as you squirm under him.
“i missed your taste, your pussy's so fuckin’ good.” he smiles up at you as you sit up. “want you to fuck me,” you murmur in a sultry tone, “missed your cock.” the words were barely out of your mouth as chris starts fumbling with his belt, trying to get it off as fast as he can. you scoot back on the bed as he figures it out and takes it off. he unbuttons and unzips his pants, pulling them down a bit so he can adjust his boxers and take his dick out.
he doesn't give you any warning before slamming into you, his thrusts gaining speed right away. the way he’s stretching you out after not having him, or anyone, inside you for a month is a wonderful pain that has you crying out. it’s quickly overtaken by pleasure as the tip hits that magic spot inside you with every thrust. he leans down to kiss your neck, his hands squeezing your hips as he whispers to you, “take. me. back. please. i. miss. you. i. still. love. you,” each word punctuated with his hips slapping against your skin as he goes as deep as he possibly can.
since both of you were so pent up from not having each other for so long and since you’re still sensitive from chris eating you out, it doesn’t take much longer for you to finish together. your walls clench around him as he shoots his release inside you. he slowly gets off you, both of you panting and sweating as you lay together to catch your breath.
you pull your dress down and he fixes his pants before he pulls you close. he runs his fingers through your hair gently, something he’d often do when you’d be cuddling. “i meant everything i said tonight. every single word of it.”
“i,” you hesitate for a moment, “still love you too. but i don’t know if i can fully trust you. you made a promise, a commitment, to me but you didn’t keep it.” he considers what to say next for a moment, wanting to make sure it’s the right thing. “if you take me back, i will do whatever it takes to earn your trust back. anything you want, i’ll do it.”
you stay silent, taking some time to contemplate it. you love chris and you want to be with him, but you don’t want to risk him leaving and hurting you a second time. “i will take you back..” chris immediately perks up, an excited shine in his eyes and he appears to be having a thousand thoughts running through his mind. but you speak again before he can get a word out. “but, if you fuck up and break another promise, i will leave. and you will not be having a chance like this again. if you lose me again, i will be gone for good.”
he nods, trying to look serious, but he can't seem to contain his excitement. he pulls you even closer, wrapping his arms around you tightly. being in each other's arms like this feels like a weight getting lifted off your chests. “i understand. like i said, i'll do whatever it takes. i just want to make you happy.”
he loosens his hold on you and pulls away to look into your eyes. “i will love you for the rest of my life.” “forever and always?” he gives you a sweet, tender kiss on the lips, pouring every ounce of love he possibly can into it. “yes, princess. forever and always.”

Terms and Conditions
Levi arrived at the train station late at night. Nobody else was on the train on his way home let alone on the platform when he got off. Levi took his ear phones out of his pocket ready for for his walk home but to his disappointment realised they were dead. He sighed folding up his earphone case shoving it back in his pocket preparing for the quite walk home in the dark. As Levi approached the station exit he heard what sounded like arcade music and saw flashing lights out of the corner of his eye. Tucked away in a small room was a table set up, arcade music was playing in the room as cheap disco lasers spun around. On either side of the table were posters of chiselled abs with the words "FREE TRANSFORMATION BECOME THE ULTIMATE MAN" written over the top in what looked to be a rushed photoshop job. Levi had been thinking about getting a personal trainer for a few weeks now and he didn't want to pass up on the chance for a free session or two, even if the trainer was this bad at advertising. He looked around for any information but all he could see was a QR code taped down to the middle of the table. Levi scanned it and it took him to a website just as corny and asked him to upload his 'before' photo. Shrugging it off he scrolled through his photos and selected one he had taken on a night out a few weeks earlier.
Tumblr media
Once uploaded the website brought up a page 'TERMS AND CONDITIONS'. Levi began reading but after the first sentence assumed it was the basic bullshit all websites have, he tried to skim read it but after realising that the terms and conditions document was over 400 pages long he just speedily scrolled his way to the bottom ignoring all of it until a large blue button labelled 'ACCEPT' showed up. Levi pressed the button and his phones web browser instantly closed. Levi tried to do the whole process all over again but the browser couldn't even open the website anymore. Rolling his eyes in disappointment it became clear whoever was running this program was struggling to get their career off the ground because they were so bad at marketing or even basic tech. He put his phone in his pocket and left the station to head home and go to bed.
The next morning Levi woke up and felt groggy, his body was sore all over like he had just done a week long boot camp and he felt slightly heavier. He stretched and felt like his shoulds and quads were much tighter than usual. He put one hand on his shoulder to try and help stretch it but it felt larger, bulkier...
Looking down he saw that his shorts had split open in the middle of the night and out of the shredded fabric poked strong thicc smooth muscles. his abs were more defined and and his arms were pumped up with definition. He had always been fit but somehow over night had transformed into a complete jock. He covered himself up and took a picture, surely this was all just a dream.
Tumblr media
Whilst trying to find his gallery he came across a new app on his phone labelled 'Ultimate Man' when he opened it he was saw just a page that looked like it was written in the notes app with a few sentences on it.
"congratulations on embracing masculinity, through your free transformation we are going to turn you into the ultimate man! get ready to embrace manhood big guy"
Levi cringed at the terribly written message but whoever was behind it clearly was doing something right, even if they came off like an idiot.
Suddenly Levi began to feel warm and could feel his heart pumping. But it didn't feel like exercise or even anything strenuous it just felt like he could really notice all of the blood in his body moving around. Levi felt himself get hard and he looked down under the covers. Even his dick looked bigger. He opened up his browser app and went to his favourite website to look at videos and images of hot guys. On the home page happened to be an image of a buff Olympic swimmer climbing out of the pool, instantly Levi moaned as he came without even touching himself. He looked down at his twitching manhood, it continued to drool over his bare abs. He cleaned himself up and put a pair of shorts on and tried to make his way to the kitchen. It didn't even take two steps before Levi moaned loudly again and his knees locked together causing him to fall to the floor. He felt his underwear fill with warms and he felt his dick pulse and twitch, he took a breath thinking it was over before it fired off again.
Tumblr media
Levi squirmed on the ground moaning unable to stop as his body forcefully went through cycles of pleasure. He didn't even have the strength to sit up. His shorts had become drenched and were stuck to him but it didn't stop. Levi tried to take them off but his hands never even made it to the waist band he simply stopped and massaged his throbbing pelvis as waves of pleasure were sent up to the rest of his body. He didn't know what was happening and couldn't even think he just laid on his bedroom floor squirming in pleasure as he was forced to come over and over again.
After a few hours it finally stopped. Levi was stuck on the ground panting like a dog in summer but after a few minutes he was able to pick himself up. He pulled off his shorts now 3 shades darker and coated in a layer of sticky gloss. He went to put them in the wash basket but ended up just dropping them on the ground next to his bed and by the time the loud wet *shlop* of his shorts finished echoing around the room he had already forgotten about wanting to wash them.
Levi put on a basic black shirt and another pair of shorts, both felt so tight it was almost like a second skin. He passed the mirror in his hallway once again he looked bigger, more defined and the imprint of his dick stood out like a sore thumb. He was still hard and his sorts were so tight every second step made him wince in a mix of pain and pleasure as he had become so sensitive down below.
Tumblr media
Levi went to make breakfast and realised it was almost lunch
"fuck I really need to get to the gym"
he thought to himself, forgetting that he didn't even have a gym membership. Mindlessly Levi started to make his way to his car and drove to the closest gym. He was panting like a dog the entire way as the vibrations from the car gently stimulated his manhood but to him it felt like the best pleasure his dick had ever received. He felt his shirt and shorts become tighter, a few tears began to form around his thighs and the shirt started to ride up revealing his abs, it was almost like his clothes were shrinking. His toes curled as his shoes felt tighter. Finally he arrived at the gym.
Levi needed to take a moment after parking his car, he was still panting and he couldn't help but rub his groin which alone was enough to make him feel like he was edging. After almost half an hour of sitting in his car trying to collect himself he finally got out and made his way to the gym entrance. His car somehow looked smaller to him, and all his clothes felt like one wrong move and they'd all rip off. He tried his best to pull his shirt down to his waist but there was still a few inches of skin that could be seen. His shorts where the worst, he could see in the reflection of the gym windows how they hugged his thighs forming a nice V shape and he could feel how they rode up his ass, like he'd put on a pair 6 sizes too small.
Levi opened the door and went to the reception desk as his body began to feel warm again. He rapidly dinged the bell on the desk a few times before hearing a slight click noise, looking down he noticed the top of the bell had caved in and he gritted his teeth with a slight look of embarrassment on his face. A receptionist walked over from the other side of the desk and took one look at Levi, without even thinking he said,
"forgot you member ship again big guy?"
the trainer sighed and buzzed the small plastic gates open, Levi was confused but didn't question it, he quickly walked through the gates feeling desperate to work out. As he walked he felt his thighs now rubbing against each other, he felts he biceps and pushing past his pecs as his arms swung, and he felt the monster python in his pants creep slightly further to the elastic in his underwear.
Levi set up the cable machine almost by instinct. He began pulling the weight and didn't even realise he had it set to the most weight possible, and it didn't even feel like anything.
Tumblr media
His shirt felt tighter and tighter as the sleeves pulled up above his biceps and the waist pulled up almost to his pecs, by now it looks like he was wearing a crop top. Levi struggled to pull his shirt off and was stunned by the amount of mass on his body. He could barely pull his eyes away from the mirror as he watched himself workout, he was hypnotised by the way his biceps moved and the way his pecs bounced with each movement.
Tumblr media
Levi felt himself get heavier and heavier to the point simply moving between machines now had him out of breath, his shorts were now so tight and pulled up they practically looked like a thong. Finally Levi stopped working out feeling the enormous weight of his size falling on his. He wiped the sweat off his forehead and stared at the freakishly massive man in the mirror.
Tumblr media
He took a step back whilst flexing and felt something bump up against his ass. He turned around expecting it to be a bench but it was one of the gym staff.
"hey man, watch where you step hahah" the staff member laughed
It took Levi a minute to get the joke, he thought the staff member was sitting at first, but his eyes widened as he realised he was in fact standing. Levi scratched his head trying to work out if this guy just happened to be short but it was hard to work out when half his view was blocked by a massive shelf of his muscles that were his pecs. It was him finally realising he was half barefoot that finally made it click in his head. He looked in the mirror at the remains of his size 12 shoes torn to pieces and bits of fabric and rubber barely around his enormous feet.
He walked through the gym to the changing rooms trying to gauge how large he had become when he saw the weight station people used to track their stats. As he got closer to the station he watched the plank of wood used to measure height get smaller and smaller until he found himself in front, looking down at the number 8FT that was barely up to the bottom of his pecs. Levi stepped on the scales and watched the digital numbers rapidly shoot up until it began to slow around 700lsb. Levi took a deep breath as he moved his mass off the scale back down to the ground, even the 3 inch drop was enough to make small things on shelves near him rattle and shake.
Levi caught himself moving towards the changing room in the mirror, he thought he was walking normal but in reality he had a ridiculous wide waddle that took up the entire walk way. As he walked through the doors to the changing rooms a large thud caused everyone in the gym to turn their heads. Levi, not used to his new size had smashed his head into the door frame but it felt like someone had flicked him rather than walking face first into metal, as he took a second to recover he saw that the door frame had actually bent slightly from the impact.
The massive giant sat on the wooden bench alone in the changing room, it comedically bent in towards the centre, his massive weight almost causing it to bend to the ground. Levi scrolled his phone to find the app hoping there was a way to size down. He opened the app he saw a few notifications but clicked the latest one.
"Congratulations, you are almost the perfect man, one final step and you will be the optimal man! FINAL STEPS: Intellect deletion protocol and Personality Rewrite"
Immediately after reading those words Levi's head felt funny, felt almost blurry, all the embarrassment about turning into a literal giant went away, all the worries about clothes fitting him were gone and new feelings started to come in. Levi looked up into the changing room mirror and smiled.
He flexed his massive bicep
"OOOOOOH YEEAAH THATS NICE"
he rose his second arm to flex his other
"FUCK IM SO BIG, BEING THIS HUGE IS AMAZING"
He stood up once again feeling his insane weight
"Oh fuck, im so heavy, but damn, so big" He said as he struggled to reach across his own body to reach his bicep
His phone pinged loudly and Levi opened it to the app, but it looked like gibberish, he couldn't make out a single word, he scratched his head with confusion, Suddenly an audio file played
"Congratulations on becoming the Ultimate Man, we are currently offering a one time special offer for only the manliest of men, increase size by an additional 2 feet and 130 pounds, to claim say "I'm a manly man"
Levi's eyes lit up with glee, he didn't understand a single thing it said other than the words 'increase size' without missing a moment he yelled at his phone
"FUCK YEAH, IM A MANLY MAN"
He watched as his hands became thicker, watched as his dick print started to look like it was gonna rip through what was left of his clothes, his head turned to the mirror and he flexed his hulked out frame with all his might watching as it started to expand even bigger.
Tumblr media
"FUUUUUUCCCKKK YEEEEAAHHH MAN" He screamed panting, completely out of breath as the giant before him got bigger and bigger and it was almost too much for him to even move......

author's note . i love Selena, i grew up with her music and this song is the bomb. i HAD to make a fic. wanted to make this pure angst but the angel on my shoulder said no. sorry for not uploading, gas leak in my house iususisjhs, also sorry to all the Jazlyns...
Tumblr media
These past three years have been an agonizing struggle, concealing your true feelings in the depths of your heart. Having to pretend that you don't see him in a romantic light. During meet-ups with the friend group, you have act as if his light touches don't affect you, that they don't make you think of unspoken actions.
Despite knowing Joost for a decade, it's only recently, three years ago, that you've confronted your true feelings. The realization that your heart yearns for more than just a friendship with him shattered your view of Joost. You recalled of all the time where you dreamt of him. The way he loved you in those dreams made you squeal with excitement, though, you always remind yourself that those are just silly dreams. The weight of this secret is unbearable. No one can know of this, especially Joost.
A year ago, a new addition was made upon the friend circle you are apart of. Appie introduced her into the group, Jazlyn. She quickly found her place among the group, being welcomed with open arms by everyone, which included you. With each gathering from then on, the dynamic shifted, letting her in on the activities the group does. As precious time went by, everyone could see the slight bond between Jazlyn and Joost.
You got word that the two were hanging out privately within nine months of knowing her. There was an unwelcomed feeling in you, jealousy, which was brewing up inside you. The horrid feeling took root within your heart. The thought of Joost being with some else haunted you. When they were seen to have a moment together, shadows filled with doubt and insecurity casted over you.
They were seen as a cute match, flaunted as a picture perfect match. That ignited a volcano of emotion within you, a blend of rage and sorrow. You longed to be the one by his side, to be his perfect match. Yet the shards of your broken heart prevented you from vocalizing your feelings. Your silence was too haunting that Joost couldn't help but notice. He was accustomed to your endless support and enthusiasm, so when you kept to yourself for a few months, he sensed the complete switch.
The announcement of Joost's acceptance into Eurovision was exciting- thrilling. You were overjoyed with happiness, your heart filled with support. You were planning on congratulating him with a typical hug with words of support and love. But before you were able to, Jazlyn took the chance to lunged at him like a leech. She showered him with affection.
She held him in her grasp, not letting Joost go for what felt like two whole minutes, he didn't let go. You hoped he did, but he embraced her as well, pulling his right hand over her. Looking at everyone, then to you. Full eye contacted was made, Joost really could sense something was wrong.
That night, you made a conscious choice to retreat into silence, to shield your heart, sacrificing the warmth of his presence to protect yourself from further pain and heartbreak.
Your interactions with Joost reduced to mere small talk. Despite his much persistent attempts to figure out why you have been so detached, you would dismiss his worries by say, "I'm fine." Yet Joost remained suspicious, you're 'reassurance' was not much help.
You didn't have much courage to confess your feelings knowing something might be happening between Jazlyn and Joost.
You had nothing left other than to just cheer for the two.
All you can do is relegate yourself in the shadows, concealing the overbearing thoughts of Joost. Over the span of two lonely months, you had hope, deep in your soul, that one day he'll return to you- to stay with you. That hope slowly faded, the past two months passed breezily and there was still no confidence in you to speak your mind. Your heart having to play as if you only see him as a friend.
Within the complex code of your feelings, the realization settles in. That you played yourself a fool. You thought the love you had for Joost was to be reciprocated, but amongst more thoughts to yourself, it was truly just banter for Joost. All the jokes about being each others future every things were empty, sweet, nothings.
. year twenty thirteen
"What if I never find a boyfriend?" You say, chewing apart the gummy bear in your mouth into shreds. The scenery ahead of you two was quite beautiful. Joost and you were having a picnic in a near by park. He smiled, his eyes illuminated by the soft hues of the late afternoon. He was on your left, a light chuckles left his lips. "I'm sure you'll find someone charming and handsome, reader!"
"Someone like you?"
you joked, but now that you think back, it wasn't a joke.
He laugh at your quote-on-quote joke, his hands grabbing a gummy bear. "let's make a promise," He shifted to his right so he can fully face you, "If were are still single by the age of... thirty, we'll marry each other!" Your eyes widened, you heart beating a little more faster for some reason. Your hands shaking just a tiny bit.
"How did you come up with his promise?" You tilt your head to the right, your eyes locked with his. "I just want an excuse to be able to marry you." he pauses for your response, but your not quite sure if he's joking or not. He quickly laughed at his own joke so you can tell he wasn't serious.
Something in you wanted him to be serious.
"So?" Joost says, waiting for an answer. "Don't you think thirty is a bit young?" Joost nodded, his right hand placed on your left shoulder just now. "Fine~"
"If we are still single at thirty-five, we will marry each together!" He stuck his hand out, all his fingers down except for his pinky.
You reach for his pinky, interlocking yours with his.
"Alright!! Deal."
. year twenty twenty-four
Eurovision ended, it was an crazy event that was not at all fair. the whole time when Joost was in Sweden, he tried to text you everyday, yet you wouldn't respond. when you do reply, it would be excuses on why you haven't responded. saying that you're busy with producing your latest song, that you are at an event and so on.
Upon Joost's return to the Netherlands a week post-Eurovision, Appie and Stunje orchestrated a small gathering for everyone in the friend group to relax and celebrate the amazing achievement the three men achieved, despite the horrible treatment they got they stood tall. Reminding each other that making it to Eurovision was still a life long goal they had.
As you entered the restaurant selected by Appie and Stunje, the smell of delectable cuisines floated around the establishment lure your senses from the moment you stepped in. Approaching the hostess, you asked if there wads a reservation under the name of Joost. With a gracious smile, she directed your eyes to the spacious booth in the left side of you. You thanked her and walked to the circle booth. In the middle of the circle booth was Joost and Jazlyn, him being on Jazlyn's left side.
As you drew in a breath, a smile graced your lips. Sending a wave to your friends, commencing a exhale with a hint of nervousness. "Hey guys, sorry for being late!" You spoke up so they can hear you through out the other building's noises. Appie's grin enlarged upon your arrival. "No need for apologies, you're five minutes late tops!" He said cheerfully, as the others echoed their reassurances, Appie casually passed you a menu. "Order what you want." He encouraged you to get whatever delight you desired.
The gathering that was ensuing was a nice, relax one. Where everyone was sharing experiences and exchanges. Stunje, Appie, and Joost telling the group about the adventures they had in Sweden, beyond Eurovision. After that you eagerly said details about the latest and upcoming album in the making. The remaining in the group also recounted their own memorable adventures and enjoyed time from the preceding two months.
"To Joost!" exclaimed a friend, lifting their glass of liquor in a toast, prompting others to follow them. In unison, everyone raised their glasses, their voices saying, "To Joost!" With that announcement, they all partook in a sip, sealing the sentiment of celebration.
Some time has now past from the first shot of liquor, what seemed to be around an hour and a half of more and more talking and drinks. Throughout the event, you could feel a pair of eyes on your body. You looked at Joost a couple of times, often catching him staring at you, sometimes he wouldn't look away when you caught him. You often had to be the one looking away.
What was up with him? You think in your mind, the weight of his staring making you start to slouch in your seat. You weren't uncomfortable, you were more curious of why he would staring at you and not Jazlyn.
As the alcohol began to take its effect, the atmosphere grew increasingly relaxed, ushering in a wave of lighthearted banter.
Amidst the hangout, one friend, ventured into more intimate territory. "So, spill, Joost and Jazlyn," they teased, their curiosity peaking. "What really goes down when you guys are alone?"
When the question popped, Joost shifted in his seat, his eyes hovering over you and the friend. Jazlyn seemed to love the question, clearly into him as well. "That's a secret between us!" She exclaimed, hinting to something suggestive. Joost shook his head in defense at her as some quietly yelped an 'oooh'. "Nothing really happened, we accidentally stumbled on each other at a cafe." His defense silenced the people at the table, he soon turned his gaze at you.
An individual detected the palpable tension polluting the atmosphere and drifted the conversation towards more joyful topics. As the subject shifted, so did the collective mood, transitioning into a brighter one. However, despite the huge effort to uplift everyone, your countenance remained stone cold, a hint of heartbreak brewing beneath the surface. Despite your façade of a fake light smile, the searing ache of what really could've between them gnawed at your soul.
You found yourself stuck in your head and loathing- yearning for him still. The desire for his touch in places deemed inappropriate stirred in your head. You wanted him all over you, and you hated yourself for it. Similar thoughts were in Joost's mind, craving to feel your hands upon his body. He wished you were the one clinging on to him, not Jazlyn.
Unbeknownst to you, tears welled in your eyes until the ringtone of your phone jolted you back to the present moment. Hastily, you lowered your head to covert your face, also stealing a glance at who was calling, which was Bambie. With a shaky voice, you excused yourself from the table, "I need to take this…" The sadness in your voice betraying you. As you raised your head slightly, Joost's view revealed the glisten of tears in your eyes and the wetness of your left cheek. Rising from your chair, you swiftly answered the call and hurried out of the restaurant.
Your voice quivered slightly as you responded to the call, "Hello?" Stepping outside the establishment, you were met with Bambie's eager greeting, "Hey reader-!!!" However, their sentence trailed off as concern laced their voice. "What happened?" Bambie's voice dripped with worry, ears catching the shiver in your voice that hinted at tears.
"Nothing happened-"
"Do not say that! Tell me the truth."
You let out a resigned sigh, knowing that not answering Bambie's questions would be futile.
"It's just Joost. I need to get over him. Jazlyn is clearly into him, and he's probably reciprocates those feelings," The weight of unspoken emotions bearing down on you. Finding solace on a nearby bench along a secluded pathway, you continued,
"I've held these feelings for what feels like a lifetime, yet I've never found the courage to confess. Maybe if I had spoken up years ago… maybe then, I would have stood a chance."
The discourse extended for an additional eight minutes, during which Bambie provided comfort and support. Throughout, a mutual exchange of humor ignited shared laughter. As the conversation drew to a conclusion, Bambie's attention was diverted by another incoming call, ending the conversation with you short.
Once you ended the call, you sat by yourself. The scenery before you was beautiful. Despite the unwavering support offered by Bambie, your heart remained steadfast in its love for Joost.
The thoughts in your head circled back. there was still tears in your eyes. You sighed at looked at your lap, not noticing the person walking up to you.
"You okay?"
You looked up to see who was there.
Joost.
With a swift gesture, you brushed away the traces of your tears, composing yourself and assuming an upright posture. "Yeah, I'm fine," you uttered, averting your gaze from his eyes. In response, he emitted a soft sigh, removing his jacket as he sat next to you. Draping it around your shoulders, "What's really going on?" he persisted, his tone had a twinged with concern, prompting a deeper exploration of your underlying emotions.
"You've been weird since Jazlyn was invited in the friend group."
You rolled your eyes at his try to get you out of your shell. You didn't respond to him, "C'mon reader! Please, tell me..." Joost's voice was very whiny, that made you bite your lip. "Why do you want to know? Go back inside, it's your party after all... you should be there."
"It's not fun without you. I miss you." You look at his eyes, around three inches apart from each others lips.
"I just been busy. It's taken effect on me." You weren't really lying, you have been busy with your new album. Although, that's not the real reason why you were crying today.
"Be honest with me!" He begged you with deep whininess in his voice. "Please."
As you remained motionless, a palpable tension hung in the air, from the intensity of his gaze. His piercing blue eyes wants to see every contour of your body, as if seeking to unravel the deepest secrets of you, imbuing the moment with an undeniable sense of desire.
"We should go back inside." Your asserted dominate. Your stern voice made him widen his eyes for a bit, catching him off guard, before going back to his begging eyes. His fingers lingered to yours momentarily, it was his silent plea of more connection to one another. "I'm begging you reader," He stopped to catch his breath.
"Please, please, please. I won't judge you."
You still didn't have the confidence to confess, yet you were prepared to get rejected. "Joost, I have to confess something."
You breathe in and exhale lightly. "I like you- a lot. I liked you since the day I met you."
His demeanor softened perceptibly, a subtle shift that suggested a newfound sense of ease. "If you don't like me back, I understand-." He stopped you by grabbing your hand. "Can I kiss you?"
"h-huh?"
You stared at him like he was crazy, yet he was still waiting for an answer. "I like you too reader. Since the day we had that picnic... it felt like you've casted a spell on me."
"You remember the promise?" Your heart swelling from his confession. You intertwined your fingers with his, placing both of your guy's hands on your lap.
"Yeah. I was afraid you forgot about." You laugh at that joke. You? Forget that precious moment?
Never.
"Kiss me." You whispered, not having much confidence behind those two words. He smiled, pride and love in his face. In the hushed intimacy of the moment, you and Joost's eyes locked in a silent exchange of longing and anticipation.
He inched his face closer to yours, his free hand was placed on your chin. You couldn't wait any longer, not even a second more. You filled the gap between you, lunging your lips onto his. Your free hand on the back of his head.
Your two's lips met in a tender collision, a symphony of sensation that sent shivers down each person's spine. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in the gentle exploration of each other's warmth.
Joost pulled away before coming back for seconds. The small kisses grew more urgent, more steamy. The two lost themselves in the passionate, heated make out session. Them wanting more, to take off the cloth that's covering the parts they want to see.
As they broke off the kiss, their chests rose and fell between seconds. They stared at each other, lust in there eyes, yet loved was the more massive feelings as of right now.

_______________________________________________
christmas in zaun was nothing close to ideal. it was never if people celebrated, but more if they could afford it, which most of the time was a no. unless people had kids, they weren't going out of their way to make it a whole thing. not only that, but people didn't really care for it, anyway. they had other things to do. sure, maybe you'd see some extra lights around, or maybe a few lopsided wreaths hanging on a weathered door, but it was always the bare minimum.
but ever since you snuck into piltover as a kid right at the tail end of december, your world was absolutely rocked by the blinding lights and stars and bows and garlands and wreaths and the huge tree sitting smack dab in the middle of the city, illuminating the night sky.
after that, you were obsessed with the idea of christmas. you never had the funds, nor the time, nor the energy, nor enough friends or family to make anything happen all by yourself. but the dream stuck to you.
and then came ekko, and with him, a chance. a huge tree? with an abundance of people living there? it gave you the best idea.
*✲゚*。⋆
cool november air was giving way to the first hints of winter, the sharp bite of cold nipping at the cheeks of zaunites. warm colored leaves were shriveling into themselves and trembling down onto the concrete, scattering through the town. settled in uneven piles, nestled in corners, where the wind could push them no further. christmas has long began to be advertised in piltover, and your excitement was uncontrollable.
quiet as a mouse, you slipped into ekko's work room. he's sat on his stool, elbows rested on the table with his figure shadowing over his work. your fingers glide across his biceps, chin resting against his right shoulder.
"hey handsome," you chirped, working your digits over the curves of his muscles. your lips curled into a grin you were incapable of withholding. "y'got a minute?"
"for you, always." he turned, hands hoisting the weight of his upper body on his knees. his eyes softened upon looking at you. "what's up?"
you slid on his lap, feet swinging back and forth, pendulum like. "soooo," you begin, leaning back on his shoulder. "i'm sure you know what christmas is."
"yeah, why? want me to get you something?" his fingers twisted at the hem of your sweater. you shake your head—not the goal right now.
"no. well, yes, but not what i'm asking you for right now," ekko's head tilts in response. your voice dropped into a playful yet unsure murmur. "iiiiii wanted to know if you'd maaaybe be willing to decorate the base and celebrate it this year?"
his thoughts stutter, and then he laughed. "baby, you know i'd love to, but i can't. don't have the time or the money."
a pout formed on your face, lips jutting out. "we don't have to spend money, we can use what we have lying around! and i have some extra money on the side. we're not flat broke."
"doesn't solve the whole time thing."
"oookay, make time. we'll have the kids help, too! you won't even have to do much, like—seriously, think about it. we don't even need to get a tree because the firelight tree, duh. we can use big cardboard boxes to look like fake presents, we can steal lights 'n' other stuff from the pilties—"
you rambled on, every idea you've ever had since childhood resurfacing and bubbling out of you in an unstoppable torrent. each thought, each plan, all of it spilled out, an overflowing pot.
"hey, hey—" he interrupted, thumb stroking your thigh. "listen, those ideas are great. but we can't. and you have got to stop stealing from topside."
your smile faltered. "but why!? think about the kids, think about me!" ekko hesitates to speak, eyes darting around the room as your face transitions into a pleading pout. "please? pretty please? i'll do the dishes for a month?"
"fuck," your eyes filled with stars. ekko groaned, rubbing a hand over his face. "fine! fine, jeez."
the squeal that exited you entered directly into his ears, lips pressing kisses into his face in rapid succession.
"thankyouthankyouthankyou!!! oh my god, it'll be great, we can have the kids make little snowflakes, we could have a little fucking wish box to get gifts for some of the kids—" you gasped loudly upon a realization, planting your hands onto his shoulders. "—you can be santa!!!"
he scoffs, brushing a loc of white hair out of his face. "don't push your luck."
you sigh in mock defeat. "fine, hiemerdinger's got that. i'll take what i can get."
"isn't he kinda short for santa?"
you shake your head. "don't height shame."
*✲゚*。⋆
ekko rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, a small groan rumbling in his throat as he reached over on the bed to find you.
empty.
his head flipped. you've left a now cool dent in the bed in your wake, blanket left in a wild mess.
he frowned, sitting up and looking around. you're nowhere to be found.
maybe you got up to use the bathroom, he thinks, standing up to search the place for you.
the second his feet hit the floor, his brows furrow.
'...glitter?'
his gaze lifts, and his eyes widen as they follow the specks of glitter scattered across the floor, which caught the faint morning light that bled through the curtains.
he followed the trail, small drops of glitter turning into discarded cardboard scraps, which turned into unfinished rolls of ribbon, which lead him to his workroom, where the door was slightly ajar.
he slowly pushed the door open, finding you hunched over a box that you were decorating to look like presents. you tilt your head up to look at him, a smile spreading ear to ear.
"w'ssup?"
he glanced at the small clock on his desk. "it's...five in the morning, why are you up so early?"
you gestured towards the pile of finished boxes in the corner. "working!" the sound of tape ripping off of the roll fills the air as you took a strip, taping the box shut. "i already collected a bunch of paper for the kids to make snowflakes, borrowed some lights 'nd garlands from topside, aaand i'm almost done making all these boxes."
a lot done considering you had had that conversation just the night before.
ekko crouched down to your level, eyes meeting yours. "but...you're gonna clean all this up, right?"
silence.
"right?" he repeated.
your eyes narrowed. "yes?"
"why is that a question?"
you scoff, pressing an empty roll of wrapping paper into his chest. "why are you asking me so many of 'em? get to work. and i need you to use your hover board to fly around and get those lights up," you nod towards a pile of lights on his desk without looking away from your box. he opened his mouth to reply, but you cut him off. "thank you!"
he rolled his eyes and stood, tossing the wrapping paper roll into the recycling bin.
at a more appropriate time in the day, you stood at the top of the firelight tree after capturing everyone's attention. public speaking wasn't exactly your thing, but ekko insisted you do it since everything was your idea.
you cleared your throat as the crowd settled into silence, all eyes on you. you shifted your weight onto your other leg.
"um—wow, okay, hi guys. so, i'm sure you've all...heard of christmas. and i know it's usually kinda lame, but truuust me, this year i'm gonna make sure it's—" you gather your fingers, kissing the tips of them and flaring your hand out. "—chef's kiss."
eyes leave you to glance at other's reactions, the silence lifted by an excited murmur.
"yeah, but i'm gonna need help. i have a bunch of paper that i need to be made into snowflakes, so that by the end of the day this place can look better than it already does."
you shifted their focus to scar, who carried a large bin of scissors, string, and paper of various colors. (earlier, scar questioned how you got all these supplies. you just smiled at him.)
after a quick tutorial, children started racing to gather around him, picking their colors and scissors. within a few minutes, the kids were gathered in groups on the floor, cutting out their best attempts at snowflakes.
pride swelled in your chest and you looked up into the bulk of the tree's leaves, ekko's form flying around in circles with lights being strung along behind him. with fists on your hips, you beam. "i'm amazing," you praise, making your way back inside.
everything came together surprisingly quick. ekko had never seen you that focused—hanging up lights, making paper bows to place at the points where lights held, and placing those big fake presents around the tree. of course, other people helped too, which made the work lighter.
you mostly left the mural alone, only placing a few extra candles and waving to the colorful portraits.
by the time night fell, the project was close to finished. it wasn't perfect, but to you, it was. the entire base was illuminated in warm, white lights, paper snowflakes dangling from the branches and twisting in the wind. the beat in your chest stuttered. it all felt...magical.
*✲゚*。⋆
over the next few weeks, you kept adding and adding to the scene. and it was all finished just in time for today, christmas eve.
by now, you'd forced ekko into so many christmas activities, some more enjoyable than the others. he thoroughly enjoyed making matching pajamas with you and drinking cocoa that was overflowing with marshmallows—being constantly tricked into mistletoe kisses, not so much. at least, he acted like he hated it. he secretly adored accidentally walking right into your trap of a hidden mistletoe and being attacked by an onslaught of messy kisses.
ekko finds you at the balcony again, glancing out into the scene below. "hm. not bad." he leans against the railing, hips bumping into yours.
"yeah, cuz it's awesome. i did that, thank you."
warm lips meet your cold cheek. "mhm. you did." he paused, tongue running over his molars. "i-um...got you something."
you perked up at his words, head whipping around to face him. "ooh, you just reminded me that i have to finish making your gift, i—"
as you're speaking, he pulls a little box from his coat pocket, black with a messy red bow.
"it's not perfect, but...y'know," his voice trails off. he pops the box open and offers it to you.
inside rested a delicate necklace, light reflecting off of the silver metal and glimmering into your eyes. the chain was thin, the links very neatly melded together, and a little circular locket hanging off the center.
you take the box and reach in, mouth agape in awe, gently pushing the locket open. inside was a tiny picture of the two of you, laying in bed, with you sound asleep on his shoulder. ekko's eyes were shut as he was in the middle of pressing a kiss to your forehead.
you smile down at the picture, warmth flooding your chest. for a long moment, you're just staring at it, ekko awaiting your reaction. your lips press together, your vision starts to blur, and a tear rolls down your face and into the velvet lining of the box. then they just kept streaming down.
ekko's face drops, immediately reaching to wipe your tears. "hey, it's okay, if you don't like it i can get you something else."
you hiccup, shaking your head. "shut up, i love it so much, this is just everything i've ever wanted for my whole life, and it's so stupid but you've literally made this the best christmas i've ever had a-and this necklace is really cute and this was so worth doing the dishes—"
you could've kept going but your joyful sobs cut you off. it was all too much, all the decorations and all the traditions you once wished for finally coming into fruition. ekko's arms wrap around you and you return the gesture, fingers twisting into his coat.
"i'd do it again in a heartbeat." he whispers, moving to peck your wet cheek. once, twice, three times.
"boo," a voice calls below you. "get a room."

Dan Heng awoke to the hum of the Astral Express, its rhythmic vibrations easing him into wakefulness. A faint beep of the data bank confirmed the files he'd uploaded overnight were complete, though he felt no hurry to leave his futon. Early morning suited him—a rare pocket of solitude before the day's obligations began.
Moments like these were precious. Here, he was able to distance himself from the fragmented nightmares lingering in the recesses of his mind. In this fleeting stillness, he almost believed he was simply a Nameless, adrift among the stars. Yet, as the Express hurtled through space, the next warp navigation meeting was still days away; a familiar weight of unresolved matters pressed on him. Adopting the name "Dan Heng" was supposed to be a fresh start; a chance to leave everything behind. Yet echoes of his former self clung to him, heavy and unshakable.
For now, though, the past could remain where it belonged.
Today was about the present.
He began his morning ritual, methodically checking the data bank to ensure he had uploaded everything and hadn't missed anything crucial. This could stretch on for hours if left undisturbed, though he knew March 7th or Pom-Pom would likely interrupt, as they always did. Absorbed in his work, Dan Heng took notes on streamlining the archives, refining the system with quiet efficiency. A knock at the door brought him back to reality.
He glanced at his phone.
10:58 AM.
The next part of his day would begin soon. Beyond the archives, the others would likely be gathered in the passenger car, their light chatter filling the space. Breakfast would be over now, and the Trailblazer would bring his energy and liveliness to the entire train. Dan Heng preferred to sit on the periphery of these instances, close enough to bask in the companionship but distant enough to maintain his peace. Watching the stars stream past in their endless darkness brought him a comfort he couldn't quite explain, a tranquility rivaled only by losing himself in a good book.
After being on his feet for hours, he stretched until his joints gave soft, satisfying pops, then crossed the room to unlock the door. He expected March, Pom-Pom, or perhaps Caelus. Instead, standing there, smiling as if you'd been expecting him, was you.
You were the crew's newest addition, having joined after the Express intervened in the Stellaron crisis on Jarilo-IV. Dan Heng had first encountered you at the Fight Club—a dim, smoky venue filled with the roar of a crowd hungry for spectacle. As an on-site medic, you navigated the chaos with purpose. Your hands moved with precision, tending to the injured with a practiced grace that made you seem unflappable.
"There's no stopping people from having their fun," you'd said, shrugging as you gave him a wry smile. "So, the least I can do is keep them out of Nat's clinic."
Your words hinted at something deeper beneath the calm exterior—a sadness Dan Heng recognized, a reflection of the Underworld's hardships. Perhaps it was how you coped by focusing on others' needs. He didn't pry. Just as he turned to leave, you stopped him.
"Hey, are you doing okay?"
The question caught him off guard. Had something slipped through his composure? His nights had been restless, plagued by nightmares he'd rather forget. And yet, your eyes held an awareness, a depth that searched beyond the surface.
"I'm fine," he replied curtly.
You tapped your chin, studying him. Then, with a faint smirk, you said, "But you're set on becoming the champion."
He crossed his arms, meeting your gaze with a quiet resolve. "I have my reasons."
After a brief pause, he added, "It's practical."
You seemed to get the message, but your eyes lingered on him for a short time before you focused on the octagonal fighting ring.
"Just be careful with Sampo."
His thoughts had already moved on to the fight, but your warning stayed with him. There was something about you—your demeanor, the way you seemed to notice things others didn't—that unnerved him in a way he couldn't articulate. And as he stepped into the ring, your gaze lingered on him, carrying an intensity that seemed to trail after him, unspoken but persistent.
"Good morning, Dan Heng!" you greeted, a little breathless as you stood before him. "I hope I'm not interrupting. I'm almost done with the health check-ins, and you're the last one on my list." You hesitated for a second, then said, "I noticed you weren't at breakfast earlier."
He regarded you with polite neutrality. "Good morning. I didn't realize you were checking in with everyone. As for breakfast, I wasn't particularly hungry."
Smiling, you shifted your weight, a serene confidence in your stance. "I find it's helpful to check in with everyone one-by-one, especially while I'm still settling in."
"And how have your check-ins been going so far?"
"Pom-Pom's obsessed with everyone's diet and sleep routines," you said with a light chuckle. "I reassured them everything's fine, though I'm not sure they appreciated me asking if I could study them."
Dan Heng raised an eyebrow, subdued amusement in his expression. As you realized you were standing in his way, you stepped aside, mumbling an apology. He waved it off.
Falling into step beside him, you continued with, "Himeko was gracious and even offered me coffee, though I think she was testing my nerves. Is her coffee always that, uh …"
"It's less of a drink," he said dryly, "and more of a rite of passage."
Your laughter rang out, a genuine sound of surprise that caught even you off guard. The two of you made your way toward the dining car, your footsteps dampened by the carpeted floors. A warmth enveloped the train, the kind of comfort that seemed to invite ease without asking.
"Mr. Yang is as insightful as he is kind. I ended up listening more than talking. March kept things lively, as expected. We covered about a dozen topics in just a few minutes, mostly about her latest photos of everyone on the Express. And Caelus? Perceptive and straightforward, which is refreshing."
Dan Heng nodded, his gaze fixed ahead. "Sounds like you've gotten to know everyone fairly well, given it's only been a few days."
"I hope so. I'd like to be useful here."
Polished silver gleamed under the dining car's lights, crisp white tablecloths stretched taut over a long line of tables, and Pom-Pom had meticulously arranged delicate porcelain plates. Their attention to detail was obvious in every corner of the space, adding a homely elegance to the otherwise mechanical vastness of the Express.
"It's important to me that everyone knows I'm here to help," you said, glancing his way. "Even if it's just with a quick check-in."
Dan Heng stood at the kitchen's entrance, turning to you with a slight arch of his brow. "You're rather committed to this," he said, his words detached but carrying an undertone of curiosity.
"Just making sure I do a thorough job."
He hummed in acknowledgement, moving to the cabinets and retrieving items with deliberate motions. Tea leaves, honey, and a few other ingredients appeared on the counter in a neat array.
"Is this persistence part of the medic's protocol," he asked as he worked, "or is it more of a personal strategy?"
"A little of both, I think."
There was a playful lilt in your voice, and though his back was towards you, he sensed you were smiling.
"You seem to know how to keep your distance when you want to, so I thought I'd make it a bit harder for you to slip away."
He glanced at you then, a flicker of challenge sparking in his eyes. "Most people take the hint."
You were undeterred as you sized him up. "Well, I guess that makes me a little different. In the Underworld, part of my role was making sure no one was forgotten, even if they wanted to be left alone."
An underlying sense of homesickness colored your words. Dan Heng's expression softened almost imperceptibly, his hands pausing in their task. After a beat, he exhaled, a sound that was both resignation and subtle acceptance.
"Fine."

You sit across from him in the dining car, the space quiet except for the hum of the train and the faint click of utensils against a plate. The vastness of space outside the windows felt almost endless, a shimmering sea of stars, with Jarilo-IV a distant spark in the cosmic expanse. The sight is breathtaking, but you can't help but focus on him—Dan Heng, in his usual composed manner.
He's eating in peace, and you respect that. The stillness suited him, as if he's able to exist fully in it. But the notebook he's been writing in draws your attention. You've seen him do this every morning before breakfast—writing a page, his concentration absolute. You ask about it, your voice casual, though there's a curiosity with your words.
"It helps me prioritize what I should focus on in the archives for the day."
His voice is low, even, and the way he said it led you to consider there was more behind the habit than mere organization. A coping mechanism, perhaps. You wanted to know more, but returned your focus to the window, not wanting to force him to talk. Life aboard the Astral Express was surreal. You arrived a few days ago, and the faces of Himeko, Welt, and Pom-Pom seemed like distant memories of a dream until you looked around and realized the reality of your situation.
The warp jump had been an experience in itself, one that left you nauseated, a reminder of how little you knew about this new world. And yet, despite the disorientation, you found a rhythm here. Dan Heng, though, remained a mystery. March complained about his aloofness, but didn't share that judgment. You've never felt slighted by him. There's something about his presence, stoic as it is, that makes you assume he's waiting for the right time to open up.
"It's hard to believe this is something you all get to see every day," you say before you realize it, your words hushed, almost absent. You've been staring at the stars for a while, but now you're aware of him watching you. His gaze follows yours, but he remains silent, as if lost in his own mind.
"Growing up," you continued, letting your fingertip trace patterns in the tablecloth, "if it weren't for Natasha and Oleg, I might not have even believed the sky was real. They described it perfectly, though I never expected it to be like this."
You fall quiet, your eyes drifting down to the table. It's a minor revelation, but you don't mind sharing it. Not with him. He's someone whose reserved nature invites secrets.
Dan Heng's voice broke the silence.
"Why'd you leave home? You seem like you miss everyone."
You make eye contact with him, the question settling over you. You rest your elbows on the table, more casual than you'd normally be in such a setting—Pom-Pom would definitely scold you for that. Still, you don't pull back.
"Of course, I miss them. But all I've ever known was the Underworld. Being there was like existing in the shadows of Natasha and Seele. As much as I love them, I needed to figure out who I could be on my own."
You paused, a faint smile touching your lips.
"We still keep in touch when we can, though. It helps, knowing they're a message away."
His expression relaxed, enough for you to recognize that your words reached him. "That's very insightful."
Your smile widened as you changed the topic. "So, what about you? Nothing too personal, I promise. Just—how's your sleep? Your diet? Your stress levels?"
He hesitates, lips parted, like he's weighing his answer. You waited, letting the silence stretch between you, but you didn't push. You know what it's like to be asked questions you don't want to answer. And there's something in the way he's looking at you now, as if he knows that you're not asking out of casual curiosity.
"I'm getting by."
You noticed the way his eyes held yours with a subtle intensity. It's almost as if he's hiding something. You tempered the moment with a gentle smile, closing your eyes briefly before looking away.
"It's not the most reassuring answer," you say with a chuckle, "but I'll take it."
You leaned back, hoping to put him at ease. "Just so you know, I'm here as a friend first. I might have medical training, but you don't have to treat me like I'm a professional. I thought knowing a little might help me understand how to support you should you ever need it."
Your words hung in the air for an instant, and you wondered if he'd say anything in response. Instead, his gaze held steady, contemplative but unreadable, leaving you unsure if he appreciated your sentiment or simply tolerated it.
You checked the time on your phone, feeling a pang of regret. "Actually, Pom-Pom is helping me set up the medbay today, so I should probably get going. Sorry if I'm cutting this short."
You stood, tucking your chair back under the table, though your attention lingered on him for a moment longer.
"Oh—one last thing."
You hesitated, hoping the question wouldn't seem too intrusive. "Would it be alright if I visited the archive room sometime? There might be some information in the data bank that could be useful for me."
His expression didn't change as he gave a small shake of his head. "No, I don't mind."
"Great. Thanks, Dan Heng."
You smiled again, warm but not overbearing, then turned to leave.
"I'll see you later."
***
There had been a change to his routine.
It was subtle at first, slipping by unnoticed until it was too late to ignore. Another two days had passed since you'd asked to visit the archives, and you followed through on that request, stopping by during the late hours when the two of you were often the only ones awake.
On a night when a brutal nightmare robbed him of sleep, Dan Heng discovered your shared insomnia. He'd woken in a cold sweat, the remnants of the dream clinging to him, and knew then that sleep would not return.
The dimly lit cars of the Express greeted him as he exited the archives, their quietness broken only by the train's droning. He moved through the corridors, intending to brew tea in the kitchen to keep himself occupied. But as he passed the medbay, he noticed light spilling from beneath the door, followed by the faint sounds of shuffling papers and rustling fabric—sounds magnified in the stillness. Dan Heng hadn't intended to stop. Yet, as he retraced his steps, tea in hand, a frustrated groan caught his attention.
"Ugh, no, that's not right."
Curiosity tugged at him, and before he could think better of it, he stepped closer. The door slid open just as you were about to leave, bleary-eyed, dark circles visible under your eyes.
"Oh, Dan Heng," you said, blinking in surprise, "you shouldn't be up this late. Or early."
"I could say the same for you," he replied, glancing at the room's interior.
Textbooks, notebooks, and loose pages lay scattered across a table in an organized chaos.
"Mm, touché." You rubbed your eyes and stifled a yawn before tilting your head at him. "So, what brings you here? Need help with something?"
"I heard you talking to yourself. I thought something might be wrong."
Your face scrunched up in frustration before you gestured toward the medbay. "Got a minute? I could use another set of eyes on this."
Without waiting for an answer, you ushered him inside and handed over a stack of handbound papers. As Dan Heng flipped through the first few pages, he noted the dense shorthand and intricate diagrams you'd scrawled across the margins.
"Because of the Underworld's exposure to artificial light and polluted air, a lot of residents are developing something we've started calling 'shadow-light affliction.' You'd think vitamin D supplements and air purifiers would help, but so far, the results have been underwhelming. Nat and I are stuck. Nothing adds up."
You exhaled heavily, glancing off to the side, your expression clouded with fatigue. "And now she's noticing signs of cold exposure in Overworlders, symptoms that don't respond to the usual remedies. We'd need to create a solution practically from scratch just to get a handle on these cases."
As you trailed off, Dan Heng scrutinized you. He noted the weight of your words and the way your shoulders sagged; the faint sway in your stance betraying your lack of rest.
There was a pregnant pause.
"You're carrying a lot with this work," he said finally. "But if anyone can work it out, it's you. Just—remember to take care of yourself, too. Rest is as important as any of this."
"Yeah, yeah, I know." You slumped into the chair at your desk, rubbing your forehead. "But honestly, I can't go back to sleep right now. Even if I wanted to."
The similarity of your predicament struck Dan Heng, but he offered no response, preferring not to pry.
"Mm, well, I have this trick."
You paused, too tired to register the implication of your words. The moment it clicked, you sat up abruptly, rushing to clarify. "No, not like that! I mean, I just, uh—"
Dan Heng blinked, momentarily caught off guard. Though his expression remained passive, his lips twitched as he held back a smirk.
"You're certainly creative. Maybe save your 'tricks' for after you've gotten a few system hours of rest."
You groaned, pressing a hand to your forehead. "Please, just. Forget I said anything."
Despite your embarrassment, a soft laugh escaped you, breaking the tension. Dan Heng allowed the incident to pass without further comment, his attention switching to your scattered notes and research.
"If you're insistent on staying awake," he said, "I have a few entries that touch on the physiological effects of prolonged exposure to extreme conditions. There's also a section on terraforming technology and its unintended side effects. It might give you a new angle to approach your research."
From that night onward, he collaborated—if only loosely—on your research. He offered an outsider's perspective, someone you could bounce ideas off of. Dan Heng hadn't mentioned it, but your decision to involve him in your work gave him a chance to improve his own understanding of medicine, a skill he sorely lacked.
"Speaking of which," he asked one night, breaking the stillness as he read through your notes, "how does one properly perform CPR?"
You blinked at him. "Wait, are you saying you don't know? After you—"
"I … thought I did."
You were stunned as you burst out laughing. "Alright, I'll explain the basics of CPR to you. Give me a minute."
You didn't mind answering his occasional questions, and he didn't mind offering his feedback.
Then came the morning of the warp navigation meeting.
Dan Heng had spent the night haunted by the same recurring nightmares, only this time, the man in them addressed him. His words were sharp, cutting deeper than the blade he possessed, leaving a gnawing sense of dread. When he woke, his eyes darted around the confines of his room, half-expecting to find the shadowy figure lurking in the corners.
A sudden knock at his door startled him.
"Dan Heng, come on! You're going to be late to the meeting!" March's muffled voice cut through the haze.
He closed his eyes, letting her voice ground him, pulling him back from the nightmare's grip. This is real, he reminded himself. He wasn't drifting from ship to ship, hunted by the ghost of his past. He was here, on the Astral Express—a place that had given him purpose, structure, and a semblance of stability. But why now? Why did that mean return just as he'd found his footing? Did he not deserve peace?
"Dan Heng—"
"I'll be out in a minute!"
The words came out sharper than intended, and he winced at his tone. He needed to apologize to March later; there was no reason to lash out at her, or anyone for that matter. No one aboard the Express couldn't have known what troubled him. He pressed his palms to his eyes, trying to steady the emotions threatening to spill forth.
For what seemed like an eternity, he stayed curled on his side, willing the storm to pass. A faint vibration drew his attention, followed by the glow of his phone screen. When it buzzed a second time, he grabbed it, ready to shut it off—until the message on the lock screen stopped him.
9:48 AM I know sometimes space is what you need, so feel free to ignore this but just wanted to say: if there's anything bothering you, I'm here.
9:50 AM I'm pretty good at listening. Or being a distraction if you'd prefer that. Take your time.
Dan Heng stared at your message, reading it over and over as if the words might change. Slowly, he unlocked his phone, hesitating before typing out a reply.
9:58 AM Okay. Thank you.
Your response came almost immediately: an emoji of Pom-Pom giving a thumbs up. Despite himself, a hint of a smile tugged at his lips. With a deep breath, he finally pulled himself together. But as soon as he stepped out of the archives, he sensed something was wrong.
March and Caelus were waiting for him, their faces tight with urgency as they explained what had happened in his absence.
The Stellaron Hunters.
The Xianzhou Luofu.
Dan Heng's stomach churned at the mention of the two, but exhaustion dulled the sharp edges of his fear. His past was catching up to him far sooner than he'd hoped. He spent the rest of his day in the archives, poring over books and articles with single-minded determination. The entries on the Xianzhou Alliance were sparse—a patchwork of historical notes that predated his arrival on the Express. He'd avoided this subject for so long, unwilling to confront the painful memories it unearthed.
He instead examined the entries you contributed to. Before you, the archive had been technical; territory he'd navigated with confidence. But with your updates, it has evolved, now reflecting more nuanced and practical perspectives. His name was no longer the main one listed among the editors, and he wasn't sure how he felt about that.
Tearing his eyes from the screen, he checked his phone.
11:45 PM.
No new messages from you. Still, he was certain you'd be awake at this hour. His thumb hovered over the keyboard, watching the cursor blink back at him.
What should he say?
Should he ask for updates on your research or start with something casual?
He frowned, chastising himself for overthinking something as simple as a text message. With a sigh, he typed out a brief text and slid his phone into his pocket, resolving to refocus on the data bank. The cursor on the terminal's screen seemed to mock his lack of progress, blinking insistently as his thoughts refused to align.
Then, his phone vibrated, the feeling startling in the otherwise still space.
Your name lit up the screen.
He rarely received calls, having expounded that he preferred texts unless it was an emergency. The sudden disruption sent his mind racing. Without hesitating, he answered, holding the phone to his ear.
"Hello? Are you in any trouble?"
There was no response—only faint static on your end. Dan Heng's heart raced, his thoughts spiraling as fear clawed at him. His mind was a minefield, primed by his nightmares and the threat of the Stellaron Hunters.
"Are you there? What's going on?" he pressed, gripping his phone.
The static intensified, and his breath hitched as he strained to hear anything that might suggest your current situation. Then, through the interference, he caught a faint sound.
A soft noise.
Was that… No. It had to be something else. He held his breath, listening intently, hoping for clarity.
Another sound followed—a muffled sigh, perhaps, accompanied by the faint rustle of fabric. The static ebbed, and the noise came again, clearer this time.
A moan.
Dan Heng froze, his thoughts grinding to a halt as realization dawned on him. His pulse thumped in his ears as he felt heat rise to his face. The sound was unmistakable now, and the detailed image it conjured in his mind was disconcerting, to say the least.
He should hang up. He knew this. But his hand refused to move. His mind, clouded by exhaustion and an already chaotic day, wrestled with the lewd mental image of you in such an intimate moment.
For a fleeting second, Dan Heng wondered if you knew he was on the line; if this was a mistake, or if…
No.
He cut the thought short. Yet, the fragmented memories that resurfaced complicated everything further. He couldn't pinpoint where they came from—his previous life or an echo of something more distant—but they stirred emotions he wasn't ready to confront.
Dan Heng clenched his jaw, finding the resolve to move. His thumb hovered over the disconnect button. And yet, he hesitated.
Why had his memories become so realistic suddenly? Was it his proximity to the Luofu? His frustration mounted as he fought to keep his emotions in check. He'd trained himself in meditation during his time in the Shackling Prison—the only form of control he'd had in the suffocating isolation of his freezing, dimly lit cell. He'd sworn to never lose control ever again, never let his emotions cloud his judgement like they had in the past.
He should just hang up.
He should forget this ever happened and pretend he hadn't overheard you in the throes of passion. But then his phone crackled with the sound of your voice.
"Shit. Hello? Dan Heng, are you there?"
His throat tightened as he held the phone closer, his fingers curling around the device. He didn't know what to say, if he should say anything at all. His heart thudded in his chest, his mind racing with questions he wasn't sure how to answer.
Then, the call clicked, and you hung up.
He stood still, phone in hand, staring at the screen. The call had lasted five minutes—plenty of time for him to have hung up earlier. Plenty of time for you to think he'd been eavesdropping on purpose. His phone vibrated again, flashing your name. Dan Heng was reluctant to answer, but he knew he couldn't just ignore the situation.
He answered the call after the third ring.
You spoke as soon as the call connected, but he missed the beginning of what you said.
"… There all along?"
Dan Heng became distracted by the data bank powering back up. His fingers fumbled as he tried to occupy himself with something.
"You called me."
There was a brief silence on your end, followed by the sound of you moving, the thump of what he assumed was your bed.
"I did? Oh, Aeons, I did."
You sounded embarrassed, and the mumbled words that followed were too quiet for him to hear. Dan Heng tapped the edge of the terminal's screen, unsure what to say. He wasn't good at comforting people, and this situation—this strange moment—left him feeling like he was treading dangerous waters. He wanted to hang up, retreat to his thoughts, and leave the night behind, but you insisted.
"'How's your progress with the articles I sent you? If they don't suit you, I've found others that might help.'"
He realized you were reading the message he'd sent earlier.
"You don't have to—"
"It's going okay," you interrupted, your voice wavering a bit. "They were helpful. Thank you."
Silence fell between you, thick with unspoken words. He missed the faint buzz of static on your side, though he didn't acknowledge it any further.
"I need to sort through the information to pick out what's relevant. But that's not a bad thing. I've been enjoying it, even outside of research purposes."
His brows furrowed as he listened. You were rambling, attempting to smooth over the tension. Each time he opened his mouth to respond, you intervened, your nervous energy palpable even through the phone.
"Listen—"
"Oh, uh, and are you doing okay? I mean, from earlier today? You didn't come out of your room except for dinner, and even then, you didn't sit with anyone. I was worried something—"
"Listen," he said, cutting through your flurry of words. "It was an accident. We don't have to talk about it, so there's no need to act this way."
The line went quiet. You sighed, the sound crackling through the speaker and sending an odd shiver up his spine.
"Yeah. You're right. Look, I'm sorry—"
He cleared his throat, interrupting before you could go off on a tangent again.
"Oh, right. Sorry!"
He waited to see if you'd say anything else. He wanted this conversation to be over. His thoughts were already a mess, and he didn't have the energy to navigate this interaction any further.
"Well, if that's all, we can hang up now."
There was more rustling on your end, followed by your voice, softer but coherent. "Already? I mean—" you faltered, then said, "Did you want to talk for a bit?"
He frowned. Why were you so insistent on staying on the phone?
"I'd swing by the archives, but, you know."
He sighed through his nose.
"And I'm feeling kind of tired. But not tired enough to fall asleep," you said, trailing off.
He turned his attention back to the terminal, scrolling through entries and sorting them. His gaze landed on one titled Synesthesia Beacons. Skimming through the text, he searched for errors or anything to divert from his inner turmoil. Perhaps you'd drift off soon and he could end the call.
"Dan Heng?"
Your voice was thick with sleep now, gentle as you said his name. His earlier feelings—the agitation sparked by your call and the memories it had dredged up—hung around, leaving him tense. He rolled his shoulders to ease the burden, growing tired of standing in place.
"Yeah?"
"I meant what I said before. I asked Mr. Yang and Himeko, but they said you should be the one to tell it. If you choose to."
He closed his eyes, deciding he was done with the data bank for now. Dan Heng crossed the room, stepping onto the elevated panel glowing with a serene, looping scene of the ocean's waves, before sitting at the high-back chair underneath his desk. His workspace was free of clutter, except for a clipboard and pen. He recognized it as the questionnaire you'd given everyone to fill out. He started on it, filling out basic info, but a few of the fields asking for age and so forth had given him pause.
"It's complicated."
He stared at the massive navigation screen along the back wall, watching as the icon representing the Express grew closer to the Luofu. "But … I had a nightmare. That's all."
You hummed softly before saying, "It must've been pretty bad if it bothered even you."
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
You let out a breathy laugh.
"I didn't mean it as an insult, I promise. You just reminded me of Seele. She wouldn't open up when something was bothering her, either. Not until she caught me stealing her comic books, anyway."
Your voice lowered as you stifled a yawn. "I bring all of that up to say you shouldn't keep your emotions bottled up inside. Especially when you're surrounded by people who care about you and your well-being."
Dan Heng's response was immediate. "My past is my burden and mine alone."
You sighed, resigned but not unkindly. "Alright, did you find anything new in the data bank to help me?"
That was a task he could handle. He'd been compiling his findings—passages and records featuring techniques similar to the ones you'd mentioned. All of it neatly filed into a folder with your name on it.
Opening it up, he responded, "Of course. Where would you like me to start?"
"The beginning."
So he did.
He filled the next couple of minutes with the sound of his voice, reading aloud. At some point, he forgot his aversion to phone calls, so absorbed divulging information. It wasn't until fatigue crept in that he finally glanced at the time.
12:28 AM.
How long had you two been talking?
He pulled the phone away from his ear, the screen brightening to reveal the call timer: thirty-seven minutes and counting. He replaced the phone on his ear and called out to you.
"Hello?"
At first, there was nothing, and he thought you might've fallen asleep. Then the faint crackle of the speaker carried your voice through.
"Sorry, I'm still here. I just zoned out."
Though the excuse didn't entirely convince him, he chose not to press.
"Has anyone told you your voice is soothing?"
His brows furrowed as he twirled the pen between the fingers of his free hand. "No, I can't say anyone has."
"Well, let me be the first," you said, your smile noticeable in your tone. "You've got the perfect voice for reading, like one of those audiobook narrators."
Another pause followed. This time, Dan Heng thought you might be drifting off again, but he didn't hang up. He should have, he realized that. Sleep was a necessity, especially for someone like him. But the thought of closing his eyes brought with it a panic. The nightmares would come again, as they always did, leaving him paralyzed and vulnerable. He hated that feeling—how it compared to the Shackling Prison, trapping him with his thoughts and leaving no way to fight back.
Instead, he stayed on the line, your presence a balm for his state of mind as he tried to hold on to this fragile thread of connection.
"If you don't mind, could you keep going?"
But immersing himself in engaging activities kept his thoughts at bay. Even though he was aware, you weren't paying close attention, likely lulled more by his voice than the content of his words, he continued reading. You stayed mostly quiet, occasionally murmuring to let him know you were still there. Soon after, Dan Heng grew tired of sitting in the chair. Standing with a stretch, he cradled the phone against his shoulder, picked up a tablet, and moved toward his bedroll on the floor.
He'd already changed into his nightclothes earlier in the evening, preferring the privacy of late-night showers when the rest of the crew had turned in. Settling on top of the blanket, he crossed his legs and placed the tablet in his lap.
"'Recent advancements from the teachings of Yaoshi have unveiled new methods to utilize THEIR blessing of long-life. Primarily in fields related to cellular regeneration,'" he said, fighting back a yawn.
Then, unprompted, you said, "I get nightmares too, sometimes."
Dan Heng inhaled deeply, lowering the tablet as he listened.
"I guess that makes me a bit of a hypocrite, huh? I find it hard to talk about them more than anything. So … I get what you mean."
"For the record," you continued, "this isn't some strategy to convince you to open up. You don't have to tell me anything you're uncomfortable sharing."
You shifted around, a yawn punctuating your sentence, coaxing another from him in return. Then, a small sigh. "It's just … wow, this really is hard. I should probably apologize to Seele, huh?"
"The same should apply to you. You don't have to force yourself to share anything that makes you uncomfortable."
You let out a quiet laugh. "Yeah, I guess. But where's the fun in that? If you want to get closer to someone, you've gotta be open about the good and bad, right?"
Dan Heng's fingers toyed with the hem of his T-shirt as he asked, "Like that night in the medbay?"
He half-expected you to stammer or grow flustered, the way you had before. Instead, you softly exhaled. "Right. See, this is one thing I like about you. You don't beat around the bush."
His body tensed, a strange paradox of calm and unease overtaking him. Was he imagining the way your words teased him? Testing the waters, poking at some reaction he wasn't sure how to explain?
"I see no point in riddles. It's best to be direct."
You spoke aloud your agreement.
"Which brings me to my next question: why don't you stop beating around the bush and tell me what it is you want from me?"
The atmosphere becomes heavy and charged. Dan Heng laid back on his futon, eyes fixed on the ceiling as he waited for your response. Part of him wanted to check if the call dropped, but your voice returned—playful and suggestive.
"Was I too obvious?"
He didn't respond, sensing it was your last attempt to deflect, to sidestep whatever topic you were circling.
"Fine. I was thinking … maybe we could do a little more than just talking?"
"Need I remind you that you're the one insisting we stay on the phone?"
"Yeah, but what's stopping you from hanging up?"
Dan Heng worried his bottom lip as your laughter filtered through the speaker at his lack of response. How had you two reached this point? Though his past and the Luofu no longer dominated his thoughts, others, deeper and just as invasive, took their place.
He hadn't known you for long. The time between leaving Jarilo-IV and the upcoming stop at the Luofu had been about a week, yet it seemed you were always there, carving a place in the quiet corners of his life.
This seemed common among passengers who found permanence on the Astral Express. Himeko and Welt offered him stability and purpose. March constantly pulled him out of his shell, challenging his self-imposed boundaries. The Trailblazer encouraged him to take a more active role during their journey, pushing him further into the dynamics of their little crew.
But you?
Something about you unsettled him—something different. Your approach to him was distinct from how you treated everyone else, though he couldn't decide whether this was intentional. Would you finally be forthcoming with him now?
"What exactly did you have in mind?"
"Now look who's beating around the bush."
"I'm not," he replied, though the hesitation in his voice betrayed him. "I just wanted to see if you'd say it first."
There was movement on your end, punctuated by your voice, now closer and quieter.
"Can you help me get off, Dan Heng? I can't fall back asleep."
Heat flared under his skin, searing through his veins and creeping up his neck. His thoughts shattered the mental restraints he had forged, turning against him.
The sounds of you tossing and turnings painted graphic images he couldn't suppress—your body arching against the sheets, your breath hitching as you sought release. This time, you wouldn't stifle your moans, and he'd hear every desperate, intimate sound in its entirety.
Memories surfaced involuntarily, segments of reactions he'd assumed were long buried. His fingers curled into his blanket, mimicking the way he'd once held another. Now, his mind weaved you into these memories, wondering how it would feel if it were you.
"What should I do to help?"
***
You kicked off the blankets, the stifling heat beneath the sheets making it impossible to stay still as the early morning hours dragged on. You pressed the phone firmly to your ear, giving your full attention to every sound from Dan Heng's side. Since growing closer to him, you'd longed for something deeper—something beyond the quiet conversations and shared moments. The suspense overwhelmed you, pulling taut whenever you were near him. Sometimes, you were certain he understood your feelings; other times, you suspected he was completely oblivious.
Calling him tonight had been a mistake—a clumsy slip of your finger—but it had turned into an unignorable opportunity. Dan Heng had consumed your thoughts and claimed the focus of your restless dreams on the rare nights you had sweet ones. And now, as his voice crackled faintly in your ear, you wondered just how much further this might go.
Your vibrator, once neglected, now demanded your attention as your hand found its familiar, smooth shape. Silicone warmed under your touch as you held it, your finger circling over the power button. You didn't turn it on just yet; the anticipation drawing out the burgeoning intimacy as you searched for the right words.
"Could you …" you wavered, voice breaking before you swallowed. "Tell me what you're thinking about right now?"
The line went dead until his voice came through again. It was low and smooth, laced with a breathlessness that sent a shiver down your spine.
"I'm not used to saying things like this, but I … I really want to touch you."
"Yeah?"
Your hand worked its way lower. "Like where?"
The pauses between his replies stretched longer now, each one heightening the ache between your thighs. The earlier interruption to your orgasm came back with force, leaving you writhing against your sheets. When he spoke again, his words unraveled in a way that left no room for restrictions.
"Everywhere. All over your body."
Your hand slid to your thigh, squeezing the flesh as your mind painted titillating pictures of him. You'd seen the strength Dan Heng concealed behind his icy demeanor—the same strength he displayed in battle. He didn't need anyone to watch his back in the ring. Now, you imagined that power turned toward you, but not in combat. His hands grazing your skin, running along your thighs as he worked you to the edge, his movements painstaking and deliberate. The thought alone made you impatient, and you didn't wait any longer; turning on the vibrator with a faint click.
"Are you touching yourself?"
The rasp of his voice sent a jolt straight through you. The sheer audacity of his question, paired with the rawness of his tone, left you breathless.
"Yeah."
You trailed the vibrator along the sensitive skin of your inner thighs, teasing yourself with the intense vibrations. In your mind, you pictured him laid out on his futon, staring at the ceiling, his composure coming undone. The way his chest would rise and fall, the faint pink dusting of his cheeks, the soft part of his lips as he breathed your name. He was only a few steps away. The thought of closing the distance tempted you.
"Sorry," his voice was but a growl, as if fraying at the edges. "I can't think straight—"
"I wish you were here touching me instead," you gasped when you brushed against your mons, rolling your hips at the feeling.
You circled the tip of your vibrator around yourself, keeping the touch light as you brushed above your clit. You forced yourself not to give in just yet, prolonging the sensuous torture. It became difficult for you to suppress the noises threatening to force its way past your lips.
"I … don't know what you're doing to me," Dan Heng groaned into your ear, his breathing picking up through the phone. "I keep imagining … your hands. Your body. The way you'd look."
The vibrator in your hand hummed, but his voice drowned out everything else, sending heat pooling in your stomach. You move it lower, sinking the tip into your wetness to coat it in slick before pressing it against the side of your clit. Your muscles tightened as you clenched around nothing.
"What else?"
He sucked air through his teeth. "You're asking a lot out of me."
You held your phone overhead, switching the call to speakerphone to free your other hand. Your fingers trailed along your dripping wet opening without hesitation, the anticipation making you break out in goosebumps.
"And yet … you're still here."
A disbelieving huff escaped him.
"You're insatiable."
You bit your lip, sliding your fingers inside and curling them upward. The pressure made your walls clench around them as you pressed deeper, a fine sheen of sweat breaking across your skin. Moans and uneven breaths filled your room.
"Dan Heng," you whimpered, swallowing hard against the dryness in your throat. "Please … keep talking."
The squelching of your fingers added to the intoxicating atmosphere. When he spoke again, his voice was smooth as silk, a thread of control barely masking his own unraveling.
"Your skin. I want to know if it's as soft as I imagine … to hear the sounds you'd make if I touch you."
Your breath hitched, and his next words were a direct response.
"I wonder what you'd sound like … if I were the one making you feel this way."
Your vibrator shook in your hand as you pressed it closer, intensifying with each tight circle over your swollen clit. His voice was the only tether grounding you to reality, an unfair weapon in his control. You swore he was there beside you, his breath fanning across your ear as he influenced your every movement.
"I want to hear you. Say my name."
The coil in your abdomen tightened. Your hips arched, caught in the push and pull of pleasure, as you sobbed his name. Thighs trembling and clenching around your arm, you sank your fingers as deep as they could go, your release crashing over you in a wave. A final, keening cry escaped your lips as your body melted into the bedsheets.
You basked in the afterglow, your breath coming in shallow gasps. The bliss that engulfed you like nothing you'd achieved alone before. Your heavy eyelids fluttered shut and sleep pulled you under when his voice cut through the fog.
"Are you still there?"
You hummed groggily.
"I just wanted to say … good night."
Your eyes snapped open, and you snatched your phone from the pillow beside you. You switched off speakerphone and brought it to your ear.
"Wait. Don't go."
"But you're about to fall asleep, aren't you?"
You chewed your lip. "Maybe. But … I don't want this to be a one-off thing."
The silence on his end stretched on, fear tightening in your chest. Had you misread his feelings? Before doubt consumed you, Dan Heng offered you a calm reassurance.
"I … I wasn't planning to leave things as they are. We'll talk about it later. For now, just rest," he said, the gentle sincerity in his voice easing your worries.
"I'll still be here."
