Please read this post before playing! It's finally here! After five months of writing and rewriting and salvaging and crying and sweating and bleeding I finally finished sort of kind of! Firstly, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding over this duration of this rewrite. It was stressful at times but I'm happy with the end result and I hope everyone else will be too :)

This will be the last chapter I release without beta testers/other sets of eyes so expect errors. I can playtest until my fingers turn blue but I'm just one person </3 I'm bound to have missed stuff.

Please let me know of errors! I tested it a few times with no problems but we know how it goes lol

PROLOGUE - CHAPTER 2 CHANGES:

**chapter two was too large of a file to upload on dd so I had to split it last minute and I uhhhh dont know how that translates in the demo but it should work lol please let me know if its wonky!**

fixed up grammatical errors and typos

expanded some scenes and added some more choices

you can now choose that your mc has "changed" in some way (drinking, no longer drinking, partier, no longer a partier, negative, positive, attached, detached, or a general default. I was asked to add an MC who "gets around" or hookups a lot but I'm still debating on whether I'll add that since there's already quite a bit lolol)

you can choose to have changed your band's genre before/after seven

TECHNICAL CHANGES:

you will be able to explicitly state your sexuality in the beginning. this was a big ask and I apologize for not doing it earlier! I wasn't good at coding when I started and I knew I always wanted to make the genders separate from MC's sexuality but I didn't know how to do that at the start :) So you can still choose the genders of the ROs for story purposes and variety. IF YOU DO NOT SEE ROMANCE OPTIONS THAT IS NOT A BUG. You simply chose a RO gender that doesn't correlate with the sexuality you chose for your MC. Having said that, if you do see a romance option available and it's not supposed to be there please let me know! That means I may have missed it coding-wise.

the stats have been all fixed! I've added all the necessary variables and such. The stat portion of the game has been updated with the appropriate pages but they're not finished. Still, the stats should be fine.

You will now have confessionals in the stat page! The feature still isn't a thing yet because I haven't come up with the confessionals lolol but you can click on it to see what it's about. Essentially, as you progress through the story you will be able to see confessionals from the cast of Infamous throughout. They disappear and appear periodically so if you miss it, THAT'S IT! You won't get a chance to see them again until MC watches an episode where it's relevant.

There is now a: Discography page, Infamous wiki, botb cast and staff page, and other characters page for organization. Those are not finished but they're there!

I changed a few stat names but their functions remain the same.

You will be able to choose how you would like to be described (masculine, feminine, neither, both).

O is officially gender-selectable.

You can set the genders of the ROs at the start or wait till you meet them.

We truly got fed in this update. Orion really shined for me in this update. His interactions with mc had me kicking my giggling and kicking my feet . I also loved the whole seven thing with Cory. I know Cory has her things but she was kinda fine in this update for some reason or maybe that's just me lmaoo. (is her name Cory? I know it starts with a c, the one that's a fellow orion simp with the personality of a raccoon and Regina George combined.). She was making shit happen and I was here for it. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️✨

Amy wrote this update so well. It felt like I was truly experiencing reality tv, it was so good. I got myself patreon to read this update bcs I couldn't wait. I've been having infamous brainrot ever since it came out and both the story, the ros and my infamous mcs keeps rotating in my mind like doner kebab meat on that rotating meat stick thing. 😭😭

I have Many Thoughts about the infamous update but the one takeaway that I’m rotating in my brain rn is that MAEVE STILL PROTECTS SEVEN!!!!!!! AND IT HURTS!!!!!!!

The staged scene with him right she says she doesn’t care if the song is written about her but she does!!!!! Immensely!!!! But she also still KNOWS HIM and she knows that trying to forcefully pry him open will get the EXACT OPPOSITE effect so she acts nonchalant and acts like she doesn’t care but she still does and even if she doesn’t realize she’s doing she’s trying to protect him!!!! Trying to still CARE about him!!!!

So, two days until Amphoreus! I remember Shaoji in the 3.0 livestream saying there would be internal and external storylines progressing simultaneously.

It's going to work well, right? Amphoreus' main story is gonna last a whole year, so nothing will feel too crammed in. Actually, I was worried that the story would feel dragged after a certain point, so having two whole storylines going on is the best.

...But technicalities aside, isn't that damn hilarious? The external team is March, Himeko, Welt, Sunday, Black Swan and Herta, while the Trailblazer and Dan Heng will have to brave Amphoreus by themselves.

It's too fucking unequal, lmao. And Dan Heng promised he'd go on the next expedition, so when he realized he'd get no backup from the Express he probably thought "Oh, fuck" and went anyway. Just him and the raccoon against the world, bless his soul.

PLAY CHAPTER 2: PART I

It's here! First, sorry for the long wait. Chapter 2 has proven to be a behemoth, and I'd gotten sick this past week, my computer broke, my documents went kaput and I had to do some Frankensteining for the last few pages of this part. I'm not too worried, as Part II update can help smooth out all the kinks. I will definitely be looking for beta testers once chapter 2 is complete ha

Anywho! Enough about my problems. This demo update adds 86k words (86, 818 to be exact) and is the first part of a two part chapter. Which means the narrative in this chapter is not complete, but I kind of closed it off at a pretty satisfying place. As with every Infamous chapter, this is very character driven. So have fun!

What to expect in Chapter Two PART I:

get on the bus & deal with the consequences of your actions lol

arrive to your first tour stop and do your first gig...which might get messy (both literally and figuratively)

hang with a familiar father and daughter duo

have some heart to hearts/ some cheeky little POV passages

meet more BOTB crew and learn exactly what's in store for you this season

get roped in some ValenReign mess !

Maintenance:

this chapter has a lot of flavor text, or at least, more than the demo did, so if there are any errors or if there are lines that don't correspond with your choices, please let me know so i can fix that!

you will no longer be forced to write your own lyrics and the update will offer you pre-written lyrics by yours truly. im not t swift so i would advise you not to expect professional level songwriting, but they work well enough lolol

lyrics page is up as well as stats, but i don't really like the system i used to balance it, mostly because new...stat things will be added as the story goes on, so that's still getting reworked. still, good enough for now, as there are some personality stat checks!

Prologue and Chapter 1 errors/typos/grammatical bits fixed. (Wouldn't be surprised if I missed some though...) + variables updated.

Scenes not showing up fixed. hopefully, that huge error in which it throws you back to the fight after returning to the house is fixed (It was a bit wonky for me, hopefully it works for everyone else)

Stat and relationship pages updated ( + lyric page to look back at all your lyrics).

Can choose to be asexual and any sexual scenes will be skipped or replaced with romantic scenes. Flavor text in which MC displays any sort of sexual desire will be skipped. (This option comes up during Dakota's party scene. If not, it will show up when it presents itself again.) (Nothing sexual has come up yet, but if there are any scenes or even lines/ internal thoughts that should be skipped or changed for Asexual MCs, please let me know!)

If there are errors or anything, im always open. I've play tested but you girl is always prone to errors. As always, thank you for your love and enthusiasm! It makes me really happy and motivates me to keep writing ! <3

(Also, if you're thinking "omg amy how did you go from 65k to 86k?!" i don't want to talk about it /j)

Genuinely Silver is essentially just transport at this point which is a shame because he started out as one of the most compelling aspects of chapter 7 as a whole and I yearn to get back to his and his family's (being diafam but also his bio family) story sooooo badly

As fun as it is to re-explore these aspects of the other cast, I was really loving Dipsomania's contributions to the main story and I miss them, and Silver finally got to shine a little bit after being a mostly off in the background kind of character 🥺 and I want more sleeping beauty
