WASP REVIEW - BEES (MINECRAFT)
Tumblr media
[Image ID: An official render of the Minecraft bee /End IDs.]
Alright y'all, it's time for an iconic one. One of the most common of only a small handful of arthropods in the game (ironically given the fact they felt the need to specifically make Bane Of Arthropods a thing), and the least hostile one at that, these blocky bees have deservedly buzzed their way into beloved status amongst Minecraft players over the past five years since their official debut. However, as I'm well aware at this point in this series, popularity does not necessarily mean accuracy, so how do these insectoid cuboids really stack up?
Starting from their appearance, it's obvious is that their bodies are heavily fused, with one solid body segment. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but nevertheless, the body of a bee is notably more segmented than the body structure of the Minecraft bee, having three body segments: The head, the mesosoma (also referred to as the thorax, though these are classified a bit differently), and the metasoma (also referred to as the abdomen, same thing here as with the mesosoma). This is clearly a stylistic choice, so I can't get too mad at it, but it is disappointing, given the fact that Minecraft's spider is more segmented, perhaps even having more body segments than the real thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Image Sources: iNaturalist, Yuriy Danilevsky, and PBS, Nebraska Public Media | Image IDs: A photo of a black and yellow/orange European honey bee feeding from a yellow flower, followed by an illustration of a honey bee (female, worker) showing its body parts as labelled. Mandibles, antennae, eyes, thorax, abdomen, stinger, foreleg, middle leg, forewing, hind wing, and hind leg (with labelled pollen basket) /End IDs.]
That said, there are some other things I take issue with regarding this design apart from just this choice of segmentation. I feel like it's safe to assume this bee is based off of the most common honey bee species, the European honey bee (Apis mellifera), in which case, they honestly feel like they're a bit too wide? This wouldn't be a big deal, except, I feel that if they were a bit longer it would help keep the proportions from feeling kind of... Off- Even if we do simplify a bee down to one continuous body segment, it helps to have some distinctions made between the areas of the body. The way they've done it here almost makes it seem as though the mesosoma is just straight up not there; Like the head goes directly into the mesosoma with no in-between.
Another thing that would help this design to not feel quite as "fused together" would be a slight change in coloration. The Minecraft bee has a yellow head, which goes directly into the stripes of the metasoma a little further down the body. In a lot of real world honey bees, the head and mesosoma are generally darker and more solid in color than the lighter and/or more vibrant stripes of the metasoma (with some exceptions), varying in shade depending on the amount of fur (the length of the setae), from a muted yellow to a dark brown color; Further still, honey bee heads can also be noticeably darker overall than the mesosoma at times. Taking this into consideration, I would make the Minecraft bee long enough proportionally to fit another pixel or two lengthwise—enough to provide slightly more space while also not being too long—making the area representing the mesosoma a slightly darker yellow, and the area representing the head the same color as the brown stripes on the original design.
But enough about the body segmentation! Let's talk about the smaller details for a minute here. The wing count is wrong, with only two wings as opposed to the four of a real bee, and they're lacking in terms of venation. The leg count is right but the proportions are all wrong, and they suffer from the same issue as the body, where they look completely fused together. I completely understand wanting to simplify this aspect of the design, but going from five major segments (Coxa, trochanter, femur, tibia, and tarsus) is kind of ridiculous!
Tumblr media
[Image Source: bugguide.net | Image ID: An illustrated diagram showing the legs of three Hymenopterans, the first two being of other wasps, while the last one is of a bee, with each segment labeled. Coxa, trochanter, femur, tibia, and tarsus, with metatarsus on the bee. /End IDs.]
The antennae themselves are alright, if a bit short; I appreciate them having little pixels on the main body where they connect to the head, but yeah, it would've been impossible to give them much detail at all at this resolution. The position of the antennae, however, is what throws things off, as they're placed above the eyes when they should be placed between their eyes. Speaking of! Their compound eyes are FAR too small, they should reach up and around the top of their heads, while the eyes here reach only about the halfway point of the texture; and to add insult to injury here, they don't even have their three ocelli (simple eyes)! Nor do they have any mouthparts to speak of, which is an even more major thing to be missing for a bee!
Tumblr media
[Image Source: Arizona State University | Image ID: An illustration of the head of a worker honey bee with mouthparts extended, the whole head labelled as follows; Compound Eye, Ocellus (one of three), Antenna, Labrum, Mandible, Maxilla, Labial Palp, Proboscis, and Glossa /End IDs.]
In the end, there's not really much left to cover in regards to this design just due to the fact it's so simplified, though I will say one last thing about it, for now; Their stingers shouldn't be out like that 24/7. Some of their relatives DO have their ovipositors (same thing, a stinger is an ovipositor that can also inject venom) out on the regular, but not bees.
Tumblr media
[Image Source: mchoneybeev | Image ID: An in-game screenshot of two Minecraft bees in a cherry forest /End IDs.]
Ok so, what about their behaviors, then? Well, honestly, I think these are actually some of the more accurate ones I've covered in terms of behaviors in this series. Unlike many previous reviews, Minecraft actually goes through the effort of showing that these insects visit and pollinate flowers; Which, barring the ones that are explicitly aliens or robots, would be the case for every Hymenopteran we've covered in the real world. Now, pollination in Minecraft doesn't have an effect on the flowers themselves, it certainly affects the bees!
After visiting a flower, the bees will return to the hive, supplying the hive with honey, as well as beeswax in the form of honeycombs. While this happens much quicker and in larger quantities per trip in the Minecraft bees for purely mechanical reasons, this is relatively accurate to the honey bees of our world, which produce honey from the sugary nectar of flowers, in turn producing more wax as well as they process various bits of plant matter.
Tumblr media
[Image ID: An image of a nest made by bees in Minecraft, in the state in which it is full of honey /End IDs.]
We don't actually see these processes happen, however, which I'm sure is partially, fairly enough, because they didn't want to animate it, but it's also because their nest is an enclosed arboreal nest! Bees of the genus Apis primarily prefer to nest in sheltered locations, so the enclosed nature of their nests isn't entirely inaccurate; When they can't find a hollow log or something of the sort, they'll even nest out in the open in the branches of trees. However! These open air nests are exactly that, open! In the instances that they make their hive in the branches of a tree, they will actually make it in a structure that is entirely exposed to the elements, in slabs of honeycomb with no protective outer walls. It's also, perhaps, because of this enclosed shape, and the sheer scaled-up size of the bees in Minecraft (Roughly 0.56 meters if you go by the 1 block = 1 meter measurement) that these nests can only fit a measly three worker bees compared to the upwards of tens of thousands in a real colony of honey bees.
There are actually social bees, though, that produce enclosed nests, made of wax, out in the open, in trees—even producing honey. They're in the same family as the honey bees we know and love, in fact! However, these ones are a part of the genus Trigona, whereas the common European honey bee belongs to the genus Apis.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Image Sources: iNaturalist, Kahio Tiberio Mazon, ResearchGate, Multiple Authors, and AJC, Tim Thompson | Image IDs: A photo of two black and red bees of the species Trigona spinipes on a yellow flower, followed by an image of a nest in a tree made by the same species, followed again by an arboreal nest made by a bee species within the genes Apis, showing how the honeycomb is shaped into slabs exposed to the air /End IDs.]
Some other things we don't seem to see in Minecraft are the queen and drones of the hive! Perhaps understandably so, as queens don't leave the hive many times throughout their lives, and the drones mainly leave the hive to mate with queen bees, along with the fact that there aren't as many drones and queens in a nest as there are workers! This does also further confirm, on top of the presence of their ovipositors, that all the bees we see in minecraft are females! It would be quite fun to see how they would translate the eyes of a drone into this style, however.
Tumblr media
[Image Source: Healthy With Honey | Image ID: A close up set of photos that shows the differences in facial structures between a female, worker bee and a male, drone bee /End IDs.]
Again, on the topic of those ovipositors (I.E., their stingers), how do they attack? Well, thankfully this time there's not anything fantastical about their attack patterns, as they simply sting the player when provoked. Which is another thing! They only attack when provoked; when their hive is attacked, when they're attacked, or when you attempt to harvest from the hive without taking the proper precautions. I feel like this strikes the right balance between being dangerous if messed with and also not being "aggressive", once again unlike many other depictions of Hymenopterans in media in general, as, usually, you get either complete pacifists or murder machines fueled by anger.
Furthermore, when these bees sting you, they take another cue from their real world counterpart and actually lose their stinger! Most bees, ants, and other wasps that are capable of stinging are also capable of doing so more than once; Famously, though, honey bee workers will, more often than not, get their barbed stingers caught in the skin of things like mammals, and lose it. Understandably, Mojang did not depict what actually happens when they lose their stinger, as this leads to the partial disembowelment of the bee, thusly causing it to die.
Tumblr media
[Image Source: PBS, Rose-Lynn Fisher | Image ID: An image of a honeybee stinger magnified 650x /End IDs.]
As I mentioned in passing a minute ago, you can, however, absolutely harvest from your hives without aggravating your bees—which doing so could end up potentially killing both you and your bees. With the power of a campfire! And no, of course I'm not suggesting that you burn your bee nest, since, as it turns out, the bees are calmed by smoke! Another well known fact due to the process of beekeeping, as beekeepers usually use smoke to calm bees. I would not necessarily recommend the campfire method, though, as it might be a bit too much in general, and may be a bit too hot for the bees. Even still, relatively cool smoke, applied in just the right amount as to be completely safe for them, will mask alarm pheromones and suppress bees' sense of smell, in turn suppressing their alarm response.
Fittingly, this isn't the only aspect of beekeeping carried over into the Minecraft world, as bees can also be moved from their natural hive into a man-made box hive!
Tumblr media
[Image ID: A render of the wooden beehive from Minecraft /End IDs.]
Not much to say here about the structure itself here, as it's made by the player rather than being made in nature. Sadly—and logically due to their equal size—this structure cannot contain any more bees than the natural hive can, however, it still remains useful as the easiest way to move bees from one place to another. That said, I feel it necessary to mention; Due to the fact that, again, we never see a queen, this implies that either these bees have a social structure that is quite different from the real world, or that these bees are leaving their nest without their queen, which would be highly disadvantageous for the colony as a whole, as the queen is the only fertile female! You can even get them to leave individually, which is highly strange behavior for a honey bee. If brought away from the nest, a singular worker bee will typically not attempt to make a new home, and instead try to find a way back to its original home and its queen.
One final thing I want to bring up is that... You can put bees on leads! In fact, this is a major way of bringing the bees from a natural hive to a wooden one. This would be highly impractical in real life, however, it is very cute!
Tumblr media
[Image ID: A screenshot of a Minecraft bee on a lead /End ID.]
With everything out of the way, we're left quite a few aspects that are accurate to the real world, but some strange inaccuracies all over the place as well. I find the design to be one of the least accurate among those I can directly compare to the real world, but certain aspects of their behavior, as well as the care put into including certain details, redeem them somewhat. Still, their behavior does contain some inaccuracies as well; So, these blocky bees get my accuracy rating of-
-
Overall: 4.5 to 5/10

Now that we have more info and access, let's talk about Quackity's tools shall we...
On day one, Quackity brings a pair of unenchanted shears and Sam gives him WARDENS WILL and WARDENS HAMMER as well as some item frames (which as an aside I’ve always thought is such an unhinged inclusion…).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thus completing the trifecta of torture tools that we see in the montage later [clip]. :]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But we also know that it doesn’t end there, because in the other 2 visits we get to see he actually doesn’t even use Sam weapons (besides WARDENS TORMENT), so we know there are other undefined tools, which is why it’s so exciting to now be able to see inside chests and inventories because now we can analyze and speculate to kinda determine what those tools might have been and their enchantments (and perhaps the implications of their enchantments)…
So, for starters, in that same montage it also shows Quackity grabbing tools from a room and throwing them on the floor [seen below], which ends up being what looks like 3 neitherite axes, 3 netherite swords, and 1 pair of shears, likely implying that multiple weapons of the same type were also used (further supported by the fact that we see him use both WARDENS HAMMER and a netherite axe with low durability). Tragically, this storage room stocked with netherite weapons doesn’t exist on the map [post] :( so instead I’m gonna determine what I think are the most likely candidates from the chests in the prison, Las Nevdas, Quackity’s inventory and Sam’s inventory.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now I’m gonna assume that 1 of the 3 axes thrown on the ground and 1 of the 3 swords are WARDENS HAMMER and WARDENS WILL, because there are not enough reasonable or qualifying sword or axe options in the locations we have to look at (this of course all based on the assumption that they aren’t in this storage room on the other map they filmed it on or didn’t have Mending and broke).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second axe dropped I’m gonna say is the one with low durability seen in both the streams where he tries to get Dream to write the letter and the one with Techno later, which matches the one in Quackity’s ender chest with Efficiency V and mending. This axe is pretty interesting for the fact that is does not have sharpness on it, perhaps that is because that does too much damage. It’s low durability makes a lot of sense based on the lack of Unbreaking, and the Mending actually confirms what I had already theorized based off of the bottles of enchanting in his inventory when he visits rivals duo, which certainly has some implications about how much he used this axe to the point he needed to mend it mid session…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After the 2 axes, we see a sword and again I’m gonna just say this is WARDENS WILL. The last axe I’m gonna say is most likely the one in Quackity’s inventory with Efficiency V, Fortune III, Mending, Sharpness V, Unbreaking III. This one has much more durability, perhaps because of the Unbreaking or because we don’t see it in the visits we get, maybe because it has Sharpness V he doesn’t use it as much.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second sword I’m gonna say is also one from his inventory called SPIDER MASTER 2000 with Bane of Arthropods V, Fire Aspect, Unbreaking III, and Mending. Based on the name and Arthropods, this sword was likely made for the purpose of farming xp in the spider farm, but I’d say it’s not unreasonable to think Quackity used it for other things too. Makes me wonder if that Athropods enchantment has any strange effect on a person. And don’t even get me started on the Fire Aspect. :]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The third sword I’m gonna say is this one in a chest in the prison with Knockback II, Looting III, Mending, Sharpness V, Sweeping Edge III, and Unbreaking III, for 2 reasons 1) the chest it is in includes building items such as Quartz and Smooth Stone [highlighted in yellow] which are not present in the prison but are in multiple areas of Las Nevadas and 2) It has full durability, but has Mending to explain that unlike the other nethrite swords in the prison (minus the Guard Sword, which I doubt he let Q use) and Sam’s inventory, all with high durability. Perhaps we could make up some reason like perhaps using the Sweeping Edge or Knockback to explain the full durability and why it’s in a chest in the prison. Perhaps it is Sam’s sword but Quackity was miss using it or the enchantments on it made it too dangerous or something, so Sam made him heal it and return it. Maybe that’s why he stops giving Quackity his Warden weapons too… who knows.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then we see a pair of unenchanted shears, which we see him with in his first visit and the one with rivals duo. Give that shears durability doesn’t last long in general and that these are unenchanted, it’s probably reasonable to say that he perhaps broke and brought multiple pairs of unenchanted shears so to pin down the specific pair isn’t great, but we do see a pair in a hidden chest under the Needle in Las Nevadas (and irl wise it’s not like they did 80 scenes of torture so this could technically be the pair from the rivals duo stream (and maybe even the first visit)). Especially since it also has a pair of iron pants and an enchanted diamond sword like we see in his inventory during that stream. An enchanted diamond sword also appears in the letter visit and I’m gonna say they are both this sword with Sharpness I. It has higher durability than the one seen in the rivals visit, but perhaps he healed it with a diamond or something. This diamond sword is pretty interesting in the fact that it isn’t netherite like the ones shown in the montage, so it also than does less damage, even more so due to the minimum enchantments. Perhaps that’s what makes it such a good option for torture as it doesn’t do too much damage and kill Dream on accident.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
During the rivals duo visit, we also see WARDENS TORMENT which to my suprise only has Unbreaking III not Mending. We also see an unenchanted diamond pickaxe. Now we could say he only brought the pickaxe with the purpose of getting his revenge or we could take it as a sign that he used pickaxes too outside of just shears, swords and axes. After all, WARDENS WILL BREAKER is the name of Sam’s pickaxe, so surely it was used when trying to break Dream’s will (and if that then perhaps the netherite pickaxe in Quackity’s inventory as well).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Furthermore, when Quackity runs into George outside the prison, we see him carrying an enchanted diamond pickaxe likely the same one in his inventory with Fortune II and Unbreaking III, which I’d say can be reasonably assumed to have been used inside the prison (perhaps just for convenience sake). Especially because, also in his inventory at the time is a stack of seeds, which appears in the chest with the enchanted diamond sword and shears which we already determined were likely used.
So, those are all the things we can more reasonably conclude with some reasonings and conclusions definitely stronger than others. Even further though if we wanted to really start to theorize, there is an also an argument to be made (that I’ve actually highlighted before [posts - <> <>]) that if he uses pickaxes why not also shovels? And hoes? And maybe even one of Sam tridents, perhaps WARDENS MERCY with Channeling [post]? [potential weapons used highlighted in red] I don’t know, it’s really mostly all theoretical but fun to think about anyways, I mean we do have Quackity’s comment in the letter visit, “I’ll show you which one I’ll use this time around.” [clip] and Dream’s comment to Foolish, “Sam, you know, let him in the prison, let him bring in tools—and shears, and they tried to torture the revive book out of me…” [clip] which does somewhat support the reasoning for more variety of tools. After all, why doesn’t Dream say weapons and shears? Seems to me like you’d use tools to include the shears, cuz swords and axes are just weapons. (We can obviously explain this away for many reason but that’s besides the point). Plus I mean based off of what Dream said in Daedalus as noted we tend to like to reasonably assume a knife and chair was involved (further supported by ccSam if we chose to believe his unhinged comments lol XD), and that certainly opens the door for other things…

Last Life with divine domains
Part 1: Rules and Domains.
Rules:
Last Life mechanics but everyone has an origin that assigns them a divine domain with powers and abilities.
Lizzie, Mumbo and Pearl will have completely randomized domains... for the other players they will have a domain that is connected in some way to the one they had in this version of Third Life.
For example In Third Life Scott's domain was Ice, possible domains for him could be: winter (as the season of ice), snow biomes, water (as ice is just a state of water) or crystals (as ice is a crystal)... I put these in a wheel and randomly choose one.
Possible Domains
In here are the possible domains they could have gotten. In [] is their 3rd Life domain.
BdoubleO - [Light] - Day, Sun, Colour, Lamps & torches.
BigB - [Weaving and Armor] - Protection, Warmth, Farm animals, Fate (as weaving is associated with it).
Cleo - [Stagnation] - Change (as opposite), Swamps (as biome of stagnation), Stone (as considered immutable).
Etho - [Darkness] - Night, Shadows, Depths, The Void, Mist, Secrets, Mobs.
Impulse - [Iron & Gold] - Ores & Caves, Copper & Amethyst, Redstone, Diamonds, Tools.
Grian - [Memory & Knowledge] - Perception, Wisdom, Books, Truth, Sight.

BdoubleO - Permanent +1 level of Smite and Bane of Arthropods. I Resistance II during the day. Nearby spiders are pacified. Zombies and Skeletons don't spawn within 70 blocks from him. Ability 1 reverts a targeted zombie villager or witch into a normal villager. Ability 2 blesses another player with Resistance II during the day. Shifting deactivates the 70 block radius no mobs zone.
BigB - Looting II against passive mobs. Breeding mobs generate 2 children. Trown eggs deal punch damage. Van ride horses and pigs without befriending them and without saddles. Ability 1 summons 5 passive random mobs. Ability 2 turns passive mobs against specific targets. When shifting baby animals instantly become adults.
Cleo - Passive Regeneration I. Passive Speed I. x10 random tick speed in a 30 block radius from them. Negative potions effects last 50% less. Ability 1 rapidly drains targets hunger and armor durability. Every 10 minutes ability 2 turns a targeted block to a different random block. Shifting causes their name to change colour.
Etho - Passive Speed II. Name is invisible even when not shifted. Resistance to fire and lava damage. Semi-transparent. Ability 1 gives a target the blindness effect. Ability 2 sets everyone's render distance to 0. When shifting players closer then 10 blocks have their render view set to 0.

Ability 1: At the beginning of every Scar chooses two players, they will share health for the whole session (if he links himself with another player they will also have 2 extra hearts). Ability 2: Every session Scar can gift a life without losing one of his own (any other life gifted will cause him to lose one though). Shifting gives Regeneration I to himself AND nearby entities.
Scott - Resistance to fire and blast damage. Passive Frost Walker and much in the same way Lava becomes obsidian. Regen II when standing on snow or ice. Snowballs thrown do as much damage as a punch. Ability 1 trows a barrage of snowballs like a machine gun. Ability 2: Once a session can change a 64x64 area into a snow plains biome... Shifting toggles off The Frost Walker effect.
Skizz - Immunity to Poison, Hunger and Wither damage. Rotten flesh gives 3 extra hunger. 20% of poisoning entities. 20% of giving Nausea to entities. Ability 1 trows a lingering poison potion. Ability 2 summons a cave spider. Shifting gives Nausea to nearby entities.

i think mojang should add some manner of spider boss/mini-boss
because like
the game just needs a new boss or mini-boss imo (preferably boss i think, cause its been longer since a boss than a mini-boss, but also like there is only really one mob i would call a mini-boss though so hmmm...)
this would make bane of arthropods less worthless
could also like not necessarily be like a spider but yknow some sort of creature that would logically be affected by bane of arthropods
bane of arthropods would like still suck but like it'd suck less at least

“I mean, we've been through so much, and- I mean you treat me like I'm what- like I'm disposable!” The fishing rod was long forgotten. Grian's lips were pursed, eyes never leaving the book. “You are the worse, I hate you- no, please take me back!”
He wasn't one for relationships, but right now, it felt like he was in one. One that ended in bitter divorce and fighting over who would care for the kids on the weekends. All because the ocean refused to give him a simple Mending tome. Really how hard could it be, to get one? Scar even got one! It was like the ocean was purposefully keeping him from it, cackling at his many failed attempts while throwing Mending at Scar and Gem. Anyone but him.
He could imagine it now. The toxic relationship, the fighting, the begging. It felt like he could write a poem right now. Or a rock ballad.
He hadn't even noticed he was on his hands and knees. Although he was fully preparing to dive into the ocean if the next catch wasn't Mending, so he supposed the position reflected his mental state.
“Uh. What's wrong with you.”  “Ah-!” Grian jolted, eyes wide staring at Joel. The other man had seemingly materialised beside him. Joel wore a blank, uninterested stare.
“You scared the heck out of me, jesus-” Even as Grian explained, Joel still stood, waiting for him to answer the question.
What exactly was Grian doing? Did he even know? Moping and whining wouldn't get him closer to that Mending book.
He may have sat here too long. He'd lost track.
“Feuding with my ex wife,” was what came out his mouth, instead of any semblance of clear thoughts.
Joel glanced between him and ocean.
“...the sea?”
Grian nodded. Fuck it, he was dating the sea now. Instead continuing whatever weird bit they'd gotten themselves into, Joel just accepted it.
“Wow. That’s rough…” He blinked towards the ocean once more before glancing at Grian. “Well. Have fun getting mending from your… ex.” He squinted his eyes on saying ‘ex.’ “...I may have married your ex in a past life. Sorry-”
Before Grian could even process that Joel had said anything, (and what he’d said, because what the hell did that mean?) he was gone. Vanished with the wind.
But he’d left Grian with an idea.
An idea he couldn’t help but capitalise on.
//
“Fish endorsed by the Ocean. Ethically sourced,” The sign on Grian's post read. He was rather proud of it too. He adjusted it a little, thinking with a finger on his lips before adding the price.
Five diamonds seemed fair. If they were endorsed by the sea itself. They weren't ethically sourced of course, but he figured nobody would call him out on it.
“What's all this then?” He barely heard Mumbo's footsteps as the other man approached. There was barely any time to respond, as Mumbo was already reading his sign. “...Sourced by… the sea..? One would hope so… Also who is paying five diamonds for fish?”
Mumbo's eyes glanced back to Grian. Suspicious.
Grian swallowed his doubts and put on his act.
“Yeah, so I found out recently that the sea is my ex wife.” Grian hopped onto a barrel beside the sign. “I know, I know, horrible thing to forget but the sea is cold and unforgiving and I'm not that so I put it out of mind…”
Mumbo looked skeptical, (as he did most of the time Grian talked,) but hadn't interrupted him yet. Grian counted that as a win.
“...so then come to I remember the other day, our passionate love for each other, the coldness she treated me with, everything. But I'm doing this as I'm cooking up fish right-”
“I thought you didn't date?” Mumbo finally interrupted. But Grian had figured this out too.
“Yeah that's why we broke up,” he answered as flatly as possible before continuing, not letting Mumbo's mind dwell on it for more than a few seconds.
“And I cook up the fish while I'm remembering and I look down. Because, I didn't remember that while we dated, we had kids.”
Grian lent in, eyes wide, putting his hand on Mumbo's shoulders. He had to sell this. “They were my kids Mumbo. I was cutting up my own fishy children, and oh-” He pulled away, fake sobbing. “-I can't even think about, just take them. Five diamonds for a stack. I can't be remembered for this awful deed.”
Mumbo did not look nearly as convinced as Grian had hoped. However he did look towards the price and then at Grian again. “I guess five diamonds isn't that much in the grand scheme of things.” He lent towards the barrel, Grian quickly jumping off, and sorted through the fish.
And then stopped.
Grian grew nervous. Mumbo had thought of something.
“Do you have a permit for these..?”
…
Shit.
He forgot to figure that part out. Grian deflated. “Uh-”
“That's what I thought.”
“I'd figured everything else out though. And you were ready to buy them because of my trials and tribulations.” It felt so upsetting to see his whole routine go to waste. And Mumbo was about to buy too! He could see the way his eyes became enraptured as Grian talked about the sea and lost love and whatever other poetic words sprung from his mouth.
..
And then Mumbo spoke.
“We don't have to throw the whole thing away.” Grian hadn't even noticed his friend’s mind deep in thought. One hand was clasped around his chin. Eventually Mumbo looked away. “How about we adapt it a little for our wart blocks?”
...
Grian felt his face light up. He could work with that.

Hey guys I came up with a list of 10 things they should add to Minecraft, (wow not Summer related) lemme know what you think!
1. You can randomly spawn with an allergy to every crop in the game. Alternatively, you can spawn in with pica and eat blocks. It just pauses your Hunger but doesn't give any saturation when you eat things like blocks
2. Bedrock armor! You can mine this with a Bedrock pickaxe that you get by getting Bedrock with a Bedrock pickaxe
3. An Ender-Sword that deals extra damage to the Ender Dragon when you first fight it. The Ender Dragon drops this with the egg when you first defeat it
4. The Holdin' Apple. Equipping this gives you an entire extra slot. Except the Holdin' Apple uses that extra slot
5. The Warden FINALLY has a unique drop! Except Mojang wants to keep their word about not killing the Warden either. As a result, The Warden drops a Warden
6. Your body floats faster in water - after you die
7. Beds in the Nether and End now save before exploding
8. 30+ new exciting bug mobs!! They're just so small that you can't see them or be affected by them (but Bane of Arthropods includes them)
9. Auto-suggest and welcome messages for servers. The message is "Fuck". This welcome message sends when you join servers for the first time
10. Pronouns, but hostile mobs have the "Transphobic" status effect. Good luck
I have 10 more, let me know if I should share more awesome ideas! Mojang, if you're reading this, thanks for making an awesome game and letting me share these great ideas! 😗

Intro Post (finally)
Hello! I see that, during your travels through the hellsite, you’ve managed to stumble into my humble little blog :)
I shall offer you a brief explanation as to what we do over here-
My name is Av (or Aviary) :)
I am genderfluid and use any pronouns
I am biromantic asexual
I am a minor, which means that if you post 18+ content, I would prefer it if you didn’t interact with my blog (I have filtered some of it, but some pops up anyways and it makes me rather uncomfortable; thank you for understanding)
I have ADHD and autism and struggle with both, but can’t seem to stop joking about it
I am pro-Palestine, in case you’re wondering. I understand that there is suffering on both sides. I understand Hamas has done awful things. This, however, does not excuse genocide, which is what Isreal has decided is the rightful retribution. If you think Isreal has done nothing wrong, that their reaction is reasonable in the least, please leave now 🇵🇸
My interests include Genshin Impact, Project Sekai, Hamlet, Welcome Home, Riordanverse, Gravity Falls, The Owl House, ITSV/ATSV, TWOMP, KotLC, Honkai Star Rail, Hozier, Cavetown, mythology, Disney animation, theme park facts and history, and obscure facts
(I don’t really post about Hamlet anymore, so if you want Hamlet content, go check out @cleverclove, @moonlarked, @gabriel-shutterson, and @thehamletdiaries for more content pertaining to that)
I have a few irl friends on here- @iivellich, @anonamystic, @whydidwyrmmakethis, and @bane-of-arthropods-1
Oh yes and please go pat my friend @sandsmand on the head when you see this :) just a sweet ask, that’s all (unless she asks for more)
Feel free to bother me whenever you want! I love getting asks/chatting with people :)
Custom tags include #art envy, for all the art I want to eat, #doodlings, for all my own art, and #ramblings of a madman, for all my rants and whatnot. I also have an oc tag but I don't ever fuckin use it bc I can't bring myself to post about my ocs (it's #oc tag, but it's just random bs)
Typical DNI- TERFs/SWERFs, exclusionists, MAPs, zoophiles, homophobes/transphobes/aphobes/biphobes/etc, proshippers, and other generally shitty human beings
Thank you for reading, and have a nice day/night! 💜💜💜

This may be a bit of a lame question, but here we go.
Since Shady Oaks is supposed to be a safe haven, do they ever worry about things such as iron or silver or anything that would likely be commonly used in tools or currency but are also harmful to certain hybrids? Do they have precautions?
this isn’t a lame question at all, in fact, thanks for bringing it up because I completely forgot certain creatures are allergic to certain materials.
They do. Quite often, actually. I haven’t figured out the hybrids of most of the others yet, but I’m sure at least a few will have this problem. I’ll probably make one or two have an iron allergy just for story purposes and all.
Stone and wood tools are easy to skip. Not iron since you need that to mine Diamond and progress. Usually anyone who can’t handle iron will ask a friend for some diamonds for at least a pick and sword until they can mine enough diamond to put on armor and stuff. Anything that they need to hold that is made of an irritating material, like, bars or any item like that, persay, they usually wrap bandages around anywhere that’s usually touched.
Probably the thing that most people struggle with in terms of not being able to use something because it harms them is enchantments. For example: ANY Faerie or bug like creature is HIGHLY allergic to bane of arthropods. It does a ton of damage to them because I always thought of them as relatively close to insects and arachnids, and it’s a one-shot if they get stabbed all the way through with it, no matter what. As of current, James struggles with that a bunch and steers away from those books and weapons. They also can’t use fire aspect, (fae and faeries are “one with nature” by proxy, which means IMMEDIATE weakness to anything fire related.) The overall strat for all of them is this:
If you need help getting a material you can’t grab, ask somebody who can to help out.
I’ll probably post what everyone has weaknesses to at some point.

So on my list of enchantment stuff is 8 projectile protection 2 books (which should equal 2 projectile protection 4 books if I'm not mistaken), and then... punch 2 piercing 4 quickcharge and bane of arthropods 5
It's that last one that might be a bit of a pain, the others I should be able to get via just enchanting crossbows till I get what I need (the glitch I'm gonna exploit to get this trophy equipment we don't plan to use seems to just involve putting two items in a grindstone during that snapshot, so it being on a crossbow is good enough)... which... will mostly take xp, which could be annoying to get but there's always the skelly farm
Bane is the tricky one cause... mhh... kinda either I get it all in one go on a sword or otherwise I need a source that's consistent to get it from
Again, probably should have do the 3 or even the 1 I got on that villager, but power 5 felt like it had more long term use, and also I was just fucking tired of dealing with villagers so I went with it the same way I accepted smite 4 but... yeah...
Not quite sure how I'll end up getting bane of arthropods, but it's not like there's a huge rush on doing it or updating
It'll all happen when it happens, just like always it'll be nice when it's out of the way cause it'll open up new things to do in minecraft, like being able to start designing stuff with tuff stairs
(And then after that the next big block between the trial chambers update and the current update is I want to smuggle water into the nether with update suppression but... that's a whole big ass thing and I'm kinda hoping that the leading authority comes out with a new video on that before I do it, cause otherwise the current best method seems to be launching like 100,000 snowballs through nether portals into unloaded chunks to overflow the memory and... ok I can probably do that, but coordinating that with dropping a waterlogged scaffold and shoving it through the portal is the part where I get overwhelmed in planning it and would like something just a bit easier)
(Anyway, I don't want to do anything major with the water, just have the option for occasional coral, carrot and cobble farms, and like... one lake to make people go "wait... that's illegal". I feel like all of the effort of update suppression and it all being in game makes it acceptable as something I kinda earn by putting the effort in, especially when I just want it for... accent stuff, nothing with a major impact on gameplay)
(But yeah, I need to update so I can put the scaffold through the portal, but I worry about updating past then cause mojang hates update suppression and tries to kill it as hard as they can at all times so... I worry it won't work past that version)
(I just really want two blocks of water in the nether, since from what I understand I can push them around on slabs and use them to create more sources to push around)

Switch's Hypothetical Minecraft update!
I've been brewing up a fun idea for a minecraft update that'll help refresh a bit of the general minecraft gameplay. None of this I think would be too intrusive, but rather expand on already existing concepts! Warning, nerdy and excited rambling below! If I had to give this update a title, it'd probably be "The Rewind & Refresh" or "Retread & Rework" update. Something to do with going back and giving love to older things!
--------- MOBS
--- PHANTOM REWORK
Now, Phantoms are a hated mob and I think that's kinda fair. Phantoms make the early game a bit bothersome if you don't want to rush, so here's my idea:
The Phantom and the new mob I introduce next are locked behind the day counter. In Minecraft, there's already a difficulty based on the amount of time passed. The Phantoms cannot start spawning until Day 15 has hit. If the player has not slept in 4 days, 1 Phantom will spawn and hunt the player, Day 5, 6, 7 will do the same. On the 8th day, 3 Phantoms will spawn, same for Day 9, 10, and 11. Once you hit Day 12, 5 Phantoms will spawn daily, until the player rests. After the player sleeps, the Phantom counter will go back to default, and the cycle will repeat.
--- THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN
After Day 20, a new mob will spawn, The Headless Horseman. The Headless horseman is a headless mob that rides a spooky Zombie Horse. It has a 0.5% chance to spawn every night, with a 2% chance on New Moons, and an additional 2% on Dark Oak, for a total of 4% in a Dark Oak Forest biome on a New Moon. They cannot spawn below y=50, so they are a surface only mob. If a Headless horseman spawns, another cannot spawn in a 75 block radius.
The Headless horseman attacks you by ramming into you with their Zombie Horse, much like a Goat does. This attack can deal 2/4/6 Hearts of damage on Easy/Normal/Hard. If the headless Horseman's horse dies, the Headless horseman will slowly perish. The Headless Horseman also burns during the day.
Once the Headless Horseman dies, they will drop 2-3 Iron OR 2-3 Gold, with a 20% chance to drop an enchantment book. (Fire Aspect, Unbreaking (I-III), Mending), and a 10% to drop 3 Emeralds.
The Headless horseman has a weakness, if the ground is less than 4 blocks deep, and there's water below it, or a pit at least 5 blocks deep, the Headless Horseman CANNOT pass, referring to the fairy tale.
--- NETHER WHALES
Nether whales are an endangered and mostly ambient mob that spawn in the Lava Ocean biomes. Nether Whales are 6 blocks long, 3 blocks wide, and 2 blocks tall. If a Nether Whale finds itself on land, it will explode with a power of a Charged Creeper. Nether Whales are preyed upon by Ghasts, and Nether Whales prey upon Baby Striders.
--------- THE DEEPER MOBS...
The Deep Sea is a part of the world I love, seeing all sorts of weird and strange creatures, like Anglerfish, barreleye fish, and Minecraft introducing deeper caves and the Deep Dark was something I was ECSTATIC to see! But, not much has been done JUST yet for the deeper mines. Here's my proposals!
--- COBWEBBED CREEPERS
Below y0, Creepers have a 10% chance to become Cobwebbed Creepers. Cobwebbed Creepers are slower, paler, and bulkier creepers. The creeper noises they make are mixed with Spider noises. They take a few extra seconds to explode, and when they do... 0-2 Cave spiders, and 0-1 Spiders spawn! The Cobwebbed Creeper's explosion is also weaker, only destroying blocks in a 3x3x3 area with an extra middle block in each direction. The danger of the Cobwebbed Creepers are that they spawn spiders, however, if you kill the Cobwebbed Creepers before they explode, they give 50 XP, roughly the same of 4 zombies at once.
Cobwebbed Creepers are weak to Bane of Arthropods, giving the enchantment more of a use for these bulkier and deadlier creepers.
--- CAVE SPIDER REWORK
Cave Spiders are a mob that ONLY spawn in Mineshaft Cave Spider Spawners. This is strange, considering their name. I propose they spawn at Y-20, replacing spiders 50% of the time. They also have only half the health of a regular spider. They still contain their poisonous abilities.
--- IGNEOUS ZOMBIES
Below y-20, and in Lava, Igneous Zombies can spawn. They're rocky zombies who are immune to lava! Once they spot a player, they slightly quickly make their way to the Player, and upon attacking, they light the player on Fire! They are frailer but quicker, and upon death, drops 2-4 Deepslate, and rarely, a cooked Potato, Golden Carrot or Steak. Baby and Villager Igneous Zombies don't exist.
Igneous Zombies are especially weak to Snowballs and Water, similar to Blazes.
--- SPECTERS
Below y-10 are the Specters. They're distant cousins to the Phantoms, appearing to Miners who haven't slept in 5 days. When they spot a player who hasn't slept, they'll bounce up from the ground, jumping 3 blocks high, and then slowly glide down to you. Anything they'll hit will be pushed out of the way, triggering Infighting, and dealing 1/3/5 hearts of damage. If they hit a wall while gliding, they'll take a good couple hearts of damage.
Killing them will make them drop Phantom Membranes, and rarely, a fish.
--------- CROPS
I'd also like to introduce 3 new crops, Corn, Tomatoes, and Nether Cattails
--- CORN
Corn is a 1x1x2 block crop that takes 12 stages to fully grow. Once it's ready to harvest, the 2 blocks it occupies can give 1-2 corn each, for a total of 2-4 Corn. This will set it back 5 stages, and will eventually grow back. Corn, when eaten, can restore 5 hunger (2.5 Meats). Cooking it on a Campfire will get you Roasted Corn, which will restore 7 Hunger (3.5 meats). Roasted Corn cannot be cooked in a Furnace. When eaten, Corn gives Cob, which can be used for Composting!
3 Corn in a row can be crafted into 2 Corn Seeds, which can be grown. Corn Seeds can be obtained in Villages, Zombies, or with a 1% Chance from Grass!
If you put 6 Bonemeal above and below, you'll get 12 Cornmeal! Cornmeal is a food item used with all farm Animals! (Pigs, Cows, Chickens, Sheep, etc etc). When used, Cornmeal has a 80% Chance to put an animal into Love mode.
--- TOMATOES
Tomatoes are another crop I'd like to introduce. When planted, it is 1x1x1, however, by placing a Fence Post, the plant can grow upwards, to a maximum to 3 blocks. When harvested after 6 stages, you get 2-3 Tomatoes, for a max of 6-9 Tomatoes! Tomatoes can be cooked like Corn, only via Campfire. Raw tomatoes give 2 Hunger (1 Meat), Roasted gives 4 Hunger (2 Meats)
With 2 Bread in the middle top and bottom, 1 Meat (Steak, Cooked Porkchop, Mutton), and 2 Veggies (Corn, Potatoes, Carrots, Tomatoes), you can craft a Sandwich! Sandwiches are unstackable foods with a unique feature, Durability! When eaten, it restores 14 Hunger, (7 Meats!!), and can be eaten 4 times. The Sandwich is a powerful food item, but takes 1.5x as long to eat then your usual meal.
With 3 Tomatoes, Milk, a Bucket, and 2 other Veggies, you can make Tomato Soup. Tomato Soup restores 8 Hunger (4 Meats), as well as cures all negative effects, leaving positive effects alone!
Tomatoes have one final feature, they can be placed like Sea Pickles, Turtle eggs and Candles! They can stack up to 14 times, in a pyramid formation. Tomatoes serve a more niche and decorate use.
--- NETHER CATTAILS
Nether Cattails are a plant that either grows next to, or in Lava! Nether Cattails can grow up to 4 blocks tall, and then creates a Nether Cattail tip. When it grows an extra stage, using the block will let it explode into 5-10 random dyes, (Blue Dye is replaced with Lapis!) and 1 Cattail seed. After a some time, it'll regrow. Nether Cattails would be a fun new addition to Nether Oceans, being their version of Sugarcane & Kelp!
Nether Cattails, when broken, can give you its Pod, and its stems. The Cattail stem can be used to make Paper, and the Pod can be used as a flint replacement for arrows! Nether Cattail Pods can be eaten, removing 2 Hunger, and giving 30 seconds of Fire, Nausea, and poison.
--------- STRUCTURES
Some Dungeons have simply been left to rot, with varying amounts of care to them,I'd like to simply refresh a couple!
--- PYRAMIDS
Pyramids are slightly bigger, and the interior will be re-decorated to be more egyptian themed. Normal Sandstone Pyramids will have 3 types of pits below the Blue Terracotta.
Type 1 will be the classic type, the old 4 chests with a tnt trap in the center!
Type 2 will be a stairway downwards, leading to a split hallway, as the end of the sides is a double chest filled with Treasure! A tripwire hook will also be hiding in the hallway, don't disarm it, and you'll explode!
Type 3 will contain a spiral staircase and once at the bottom, there's a large hallway with 4 rooms on the sides, each having loot. 3 of them are safe, and 1 is dangerous. The player can figure out the safe chest by checking the flooring, if the floor is red, rather then orange, that room is dangerous!
--- JUNGLE TEMPLES
Jungle Temples just need a general re-building. using Stone Bricks and their mossy counterparts along with Cobblestone! Some new varients of Jungle Temples would be lovely!
--- DUNGEONS
Classic Dungeons are a staple, and I propose a simple addition, Classic Dungeons can generate in different shapes! Spheres, Pyramids, Rectangles, Hexagons. To add to this, new Mob types can be generated, Creeper Dungeons, Cave Spider Dungeons, Stray Dungeons (in Snow Biomes) and Husk Dungeons (in Desert Biomes) can generate! Dungeons can contain Gold, Diamond,Emeralds, Melon & Pumpkin seeds, and 3 items regarding the mob type the dungeon spawned with. Zombies get Smite enchantment books, Carrots and Potatoes, Skeletons give Bows, bones and Bone blocks, Creepers give TNT, Gunpowder and Flint, the list goes on. The dungeons retain their old selves, but getting fun new variations!
---- STRONGHOLDS
Strongholds are a staple of Minecraft, but they have been left to rot, which is terrible considering the IMPORTANCE of them! So, My rework would be this: The Eye of Ender would lead you to a guaranteed room, the Center of a End Stronghold. There, there can be up to 4 paths, a path going down, one going up, and two paths to the side. One of these paths will take you to the End Portal Room. Id request for End Strongholds to be given more layouts and rooms, as well as updates to the general building style. Add some red wool for the floor, and in hallways, have a few spawners with Cave Spiders and zombies, to make the trip tougher. Have Soulfire Lanturns lighting up the hallways, and some arrow traps cleverly hidden with tripwires. Stronghold libraries should be a bit larger and grandiose, with cobwebs and the new bookshelves, perhaps even use them for secret entrances if you find the shelf for a room of loot! Endermen have a slightly increased spawn rate here as well.
Of course, at the end above lava is the End portal frame, with lava pouring at the sides. Make it look pretty using Deepslate, Purpur blocks, Gold and Diamond blocks, with a couple chests of end game loot. The End Stronghold deserves a lot of love for what it is about.
--- NETHER FORTRESSES
Nether Fortresses are also very important considering they're the only places Blaze can spawn. Now my proposal is simply, use the new Netherbrick blocks, and make the flooring Red Netherbrick, or have the bottom sides be used. Nether Fortresses are a bit hard to play in due to how dark the blocks are. I'd also make them form in a more grid-like structure. Every chunk, the Fortress attempts to generate either a hallway in the correct direction, stairs, a unique piece, or a dead end.
Unique Pieces would include the Lava Well, Blaze Room, Netherwart Gardens, Netherwart Tree room, Room Splitters, Staircases, or Large Rooms. Roughly 25% of Dead ends will end with a Blaze Cage room, and there's always one garunteed to spawn. There could be more types of special rooms, but this is just a general idea of how they could be reworked. Nether Fortresses that have hallways go down could twist into themselves and become multi-layered, making them not as flat as they usually are.
If a Nether Fortress is spawned in a Soulsand Valley or Warped Forest, the Nether Fortress would be made out of Warped Netherbrick (A block I'm adding :)), and Blazes become Soulfire Blazes. They'll be stronger but drop more Blaze Rods, as well as more XP.
--- NETHER MINESHAFTS & PIGLIN SKELETONS
According to Mojang, Piglins have mined the ENTIRE nether out, and that's why there is no Netherite ore. However, I'd love to expand on that! Piglin Mineshafts are similar to normal mineshafts, but instead of being 3 wide and tall, it's 5 wide and 5 tall, with polished Basalt Pillars and Blackstone Brick roofs. They spawn at Y35 and below, and have a higher chance of Ancient Debris, Gold and Quartz!
However, this is not free, Piglin Skeletons spawn in this structure, and have recalled a bit of their old instincts. If you mine Gold, Quartz or Ancient Debris in a 4x4x4 area, they'll attack you. Netherrack is fine, however. Making barriers and or defeating them will let you reap the rewards of this structure!
--- PIGLIN EXCAVATION SITES
Piglin Excavation sites are very rare structures that create a wide pit with a spiral staircase to the bottom. There's plenty of ores to mine, and jn the center is a Piglin Watchtower with a bunch of golden tools, enchantment books, and weapons. These contain Piglin Brutes & Piglins. They go pretty deep and are rather large structures, about half the size of a Woodland Mansion. They only appear in Nether Wastes.
--- QUARTZ DEPOSITS
Quartz Caves spawn occasionally in the nether. they appear as slits, with Quartz Crystals, Nether Quartz Ore, and Quartz Blocks. there is also Packed Quartz Ore, blocks that give tons of Quartz and XP.
--- STRIDER DENS, ELDER STRIDERS, & RUBIES
in Nether Oceans, you can occasionally find a tube of Blackstone containing Striders and Elder Striders. In this tube are small pockets of Lava in a blackstone floor, being the Strider beds they rest at. Elder Striders are Striders whos hair has grown out, giving them bushy staches and eyebrows. They're neutral mobs, hurting a Strider or Elder Strider will not be without punishment, as they'll shoot out Lava Spitballs! These don't explode, but will light the player on fire for a very short bit.
In Strider nests, you'll find a new ore! Ruby Ore. Rubies are the Diamonds of the Nether, and can be used to make a Ruby Enchantment Table. Rubies can also be used on a strider to make them like you for a few minutes, gaining a speed boost and allowing you to control them, even without a saddle! Striders LOVE rubies, and collect them to decorate their homes. They'll follow you if you hold one in your hand as well.
--- GHAST GLOWSTONE PODS
On the roofs of the Nether, are LARGE deposits of Glowstone, hollowed out. These are Ghast Pods, homes of the Ghast. Ghasts have made a home similar to beehives, and roam around them. This makes small glowstone deposits into unfinished or abandoned houses for the Ghasts. They are a jackpot of Glowstone, but 1-3 Ghasts will always be around them, protecting their home.
--- NETHER PILLAR BIOME
The Nether Pillars Biome would be a Lava Ocean specific biome where large netherrack pillars are formed from the ceiling to the floor, this biome has no special features, but is a fun ambient biome.
--------- ITEMS & BLOCKS
Rubies can be found in Strider dens or rarely in Basalt Deltas. They can be used to make Ruby Blocks and Ruby Enchantment Tables. Giving them to a strider makes them happy, and allows you to ride them without a saddle for a short time, being almost akin to a Taxi. Ruby Ore is affected by Fortune.
Red Netherbrick will be given a full set, and Warped Netherbrick will be added and also have a full set as well. Soulsand can be made into Soulsandstone, and get a set as well.
Condensed Nether Quartz is a rare block in Nether Quartz Slits, and contain 6 Quartz, and gives a LOAD of XP. They are affected by Fortune.
Nether Cattail Stems and Nether Cattail Pods are a block that can be placed, Pods can be stepped on and deal damage akin to a Berry bush. Cattai Stems are like Sugarcane, and be turned into Sugar or Paper, and the Pods can be used for exploding into Dyes, or crafted into Arrows as a flint replacement!
Iron can now Oxidize into a brown-red rust. I've always dreamed of having iron rust after Copper was given this ability. Oxidized Iron would be a different flavor, which would be perfect for spooky industrial buildings, or showing a different kind of age.
Copper is a item & block that needs more general usage, and that will be the ability to substitute Piston's iron with Copper, or making Copper Anvils. Copper Anvils would have less durability then a typical anvil, and be made purely of Copper Blocks, but would fill the same purpose. Copper can also be used as a substitute for Iron in a few more recipes, lightening the amount of Iron a player needs to use, and giving copper some more strength for usage.
-------- THE END --------
Thank you so much for reading my silly little wishlist of things! I was bursting with ideas and have been working on this for about a week. I just wanna expand on existing features and or re-work a few of them to truly let them shine! I added in a lot of new nether mobs, mostly because the Nether Update was one of my favorite updates, but it needed just one more kick to get it fully topped off! The Lava Oceans needed just a small push! Eventually, I'll see about making some concept art for these mobs, structures and biomes! But with that said, I'd love to hear thoughts on these mobs, structures and general reworks! ^-^

i love the depths in tears of the kingdom. I love the idea of this huge, underground area filled with creatures the surface has never seen. but. my one main issue is that you cant change the depths. you cant build a house there.
I want to have something like the depths in Minecraft. I want to be able to descend down a massively deep hole and land in the realm deep below the surface. and maybe! they can do the thing that I've always wanted. which is an arthropod dimension.
Giant bug-like creatures trying to hunt you down. Mobs that actively stalk you, waiting for a moment to strike. A creature that is literally just a tank shaped like a bug. it'd make bane of arthropods much more desirable.

Other animals that Mojang should add:
More bugs- beetles, worms, mantises… there are endless possibilities. Bane of arthropods currently only affects five mobs at this point. We need more hostile monster bugs and more peaceful bugs.
Reptiles- to my knowledge, there is currently only one reptile species in minecraft. Turtles. We need snakes and lizards at least.
Song birds- they function similarly to tropical fish. Each texture is a different species with its own attached sound bite so each has a distinct call. They have nests in trees. Need I say more?
Crows- I know I just mentioned birds but hear me out. Crows could be a peaceful mob that is still somewhat of a nuisance. They can destroy crops and steal dropped items. You could build scarecrows, perhaps a new type of golem, that deter them like cats do with creepers. They could also be tamed as pets.

ADBK: Metalzoa
Tumblr media
Epithet: The Droid Doppelganger
Voice Actor: Corey Burton
Tribe: The Machinations
Biography: Zoa is a powerful Fiend, an enforcer of Zorc's army, and easily able to rip most Monsters to pieces! That being said, this had not gone unnoticed by the Machinations and PMK. Therefore, Robotic Knight and Jinzo created a duplicate of Zoa, with all his strength and ferocity, to assassinate and become the real deal.
However, this doppelganger, dubbed Metalzoa, was not interested in just being a cheap knockoff of Zoa. So, he instead disobeyed orders to kill Zoa in favor of leading an army to try and conquer the Arthropod Empire!
Although Perfect Machine King was at first displeased by this breach of conduct, he changed his tune when he noticed a new, metallic fortress within Insect territory. Pleased with his hard work, as well as the creation of the Kamakuri Spiders, PMK made Metalzoa an honorary Machine General, his main holdings being where he made his mark as the bane of the Insects!

Entry 1.3.2-3 - Capitalistic Completion
Welcome to my blog. I’m not tagging anything but entry #, so sorry if my unrelated mess somehow ends up in your search.
Was double checking the wiki and had a realization
Tumblr media
Didn't realize this was possible already! Now I can start collecting Beans. Also, this screenshot just made me process what the jungle log texture looks like rn and... wow programmer art sure is something huh.
Side note, either I keep hearing in game footsteps or my earbuds are Really shifting. Very nerve wracking when I leave the game running and my mind jumps to "Herobrine hunting me??????" At its core, MineCraft is a horror game.
Tumblr media
Also, my sheep keep somehow breaching containment. I have no idea how. I think something with chunk loading and fence collision.
The villagers have made no progress in repopulating the village, so I guess I'll do my remaining trades at the iron farm.
Tumblr media
Thankfully I had what this butcher wanted but uh. Wow this is unnerving with all of them staring at me lol
Tumblr media
Buying an iron sword from the blacksmith just to trade it to the priest to give me b-bane of arthropods...... gross.... That's the blacksmith and priest max'd at least. Now I just need a librarian and to "max" two butchers.
Tumblr media
Well. That's the butchers done. Had to snag some more coal from a nearby vein but I did it. For a moment I thought there was only one butcher up here, but between the two of them I've managed to get an entire set of leather armor.
Tumblr media
ugh librarian trades suck in this update but that's another one max'd.
In village:
2 max brown robe
1 max librarian
1 max priest
1 max blacksmith
Imprisoned:
2 max butcher
1 max librarian
1 max blacksmith
1 max priest
Tumblr media
Thought I'd try to get a saddle trade but I'm getting tired of how buggy these guys are, sometimes not giving new trades and the spam of the door open/close sound. Horses aren't added for forever (read as: like 4 updates) so whatever.
I'm gonna try to get a bit more done so that this entry isn't all villager trades.
Tumblr media
Obligatory trophy shot B)
As I'm looking at the goal for next version, I want to add the unofficial goals of getting a proper farm going for wheat, carrots, and potatoes.
Tumblr media
It takes me around 5 stacks to raise the entire wall by 2 blocks. I currently need to raise it by 5 blocks to have it completely even out. I don't think I have enough coal for that, so I think I'll throw a roof together for the bunk house and call 1.3 a wrap.
Tumblr media
There. It's not pretty, but it'll get the job done.
I anticipate 1.4 taking me a few parts to gather enough exp to enchant my gear. I don't think I've ever fought the wither before ;w;
I might look into how to break/get through bedrock on the nether roof too just for funsies. Maybe build a little obsidian bunker for the fights to take place in? We'll see. I'm kind of in the process of prepping a cross-country move so I may be less active in my silly little world.
next (1.4.7-1)
