I’m thinking the other anon thinks Osprey is pregnant because of her “glowing”, it’s another way to say someone is pregnant, because they look like they’re glowing! I didn’t see it that way, but I can see where the confusion came from, hope this helps!
Oh, thanks a lot! I didn’t mean to say that Osprey was pregnant; the glowing was moreso just supposed to represent a prophecy thing (that by itself will be covered in the next page)
Sorry to anyone that thinks this effect is a bit cringe-y, (including myself) I just kinda was rushing this part lol

I was already planning on rereading jjk for the memes. Cant believe ill HAVE to reread jjk so i can get the characterization right because dear GOD the most recent chapter.
Stsg shippers are so annoying and i fully recognize that suguru was the most important person in satorus life but gOD DUDE-- THE "i have to catch up", the whole "monster" thing?? Yuta and yuuji and suguru being the only ones that never saw him as his power and ability??? Satorus feelings when he wanted shoko to reject his proposition but didnt?????
Ive always had the thought that i didnt want him to come back and didnt expect him to come back but wouldnt be surprised if he did because of all of geges weird "foreshadowing" (the one eye thing, the lotus thing, etc.) but god. To bring him back like this... i saw a post earlier in the jujutsu kaisen tag that said "noone wanted this, and noone expected this" and you know what? Theyre so correct. And, its just so perfect for a manga like jjk.

Idk if anyone else has this problem but like, I cannot for the life of me share my ideas with anyone. Like, au ideas, timeline ideas, etc etc.
Not because I'm bad at explaining, but because everytime I do explain and I'm done with it, I immediately lose interest of it. Like, it just, snaps out of existence. All of that thinking, and planing, are just gone, down the drain.
That's why I don't explain my ideas with anyone at times, cause I get so invested in them but I know if I tell anyone about my ideas, I'll lose interest in them. I remember I had like a tmnt au in mind but when I tried to explain to people, it went away.
Again, idk if anyone has this problem but like, I've wanted to share my ideas for such a long time but I can't.

Look at the little changes Jinx made to her work bench compared to season 1.
Tumblr media
Look at the little drawing Isha made of them. Isha's got mirror (refrigerator) rights.
Tumblr media
The real question now is if Jinx lets Isha watch her do her self-administered first aid, or does she hand Isha the stapler and let her feel useful?

Drake Siblings
Have I read this prompt somewhere or was this a fever dream from my bored mind.
What if, now hear me out.
What if we bring up Dana Winters-Drake (whose confirmed to at least be alive in the DC verse but no one knows where she actually is)
What if instead of when she had a mental breakdown and getting committed to an Bludhaven clinc she wandered away before anyone noticed and by the time Tim or anyone did notice a lot of stuff started happening at once in both Gotham and Bludhaven (Steph dying, The Bludhaven crisis, etc etc)
Tim still tries to find her though but even with best resources it was like she just disappeared into the wilderness and the stress of trying to handle more and more problems get worse.
So when out of the blue, a couple of years later, he gets a call from an unknown number. On his private, only for friends and family, phone and when he answers he meet with a young girls voice on the other end.
A very young, maybe six or seven, girl who informs him about his apparently half-brother Danny Drake-Fenton. And how she loves Danny so, so, so much but knows her home is dangerous for him to be in.
Tim is stunned and before he could question her, she says Danny is Dana and Jack's baby and that her parents had adopted him years ago and put Dana's stuff that the hospital had away for him to look at when he was older but she just had to fight off their lunch from eating her brother and she knows he needs a better place to live and so she snooped around and found Dana's diary and that she had to unscramble the nonsense Dana wrote and found Tim's number with the words 'tell him about his brother Danny' hidden in it. And-
But before she could keep rambling she hears Danny screaming "JAZZY THE MILK WENT BAD AGAIN AND HISSED AT ME!"
Tim is left with silence after hearing Jazz yell to Danny to lock the fridge and step out of the kitchen as she gets the bat.

Small(or not) what if scene 👀 What if Mushroom Boy didn't have the ability to hypnotize people, but just read their minds???
Like an AU where his powers are different? I'll indulge since the scenario does seem interesting! 🍄
If Mychael didn't have hypnosis but instead read minds under cut:
Mychael's hypnosis is pretty much his main go-to for survival. As a pacifist (or at least he tries to be) the fastest way to de-escalate a hostile situation is throwing a hypnosis blanket over the threat and make them docile/non-aggressive. If it has a mind he can manipulate why go about it any other way? And keep in mind it's a one-way street. He can feed thoughts into your head but the only way he knows it's working is you reacting externally like with your words and actions.
But suppose he can't manipulate minds but only read them? I think it would shift his entire personality. Knowing people's true intent and what they think of him would change his survival behavior. Instead of placating the threat directly and just force people to accept his presence (albeit under mind control), he'd have to adapt on the spot more often.
He'd have to say and act in whatever way that would earn others' trust enough so they won't hurt him, or just turn and run if he feels like they're out for his blood. He'd be more manipulative, less open and honest, and wear several more masks than he already does now. He'd never give away that he knows what you're thinking at any time, since that's basically his only tool to survive so he wouldn't give up that information easily.
And I imagine after hearing "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT" over and over and over every single time he meets someone new, he'd just accept nobody wants him at all. So would he even begin to yearn for company? Absolutely not.
This was a really fun scenario so I made a quick doodle just highlighting their main mindsets:

I dont know if it was intentional but I love that Narinder when he sees Lamb throwing up he turns gentle and pushes their wool and ears back so they dont get stained with vomit and for some reason it reminded me of how when Nari was throwing up too after the nightmare he had when they were on route to fight Leshy, Lambert helped him with camellias for the nausea.
Ahh, parallels. I think.
IM SO GLAD YOU POINTED THAT OUT allow me to ramble for just a moment.
Narinder was trapped in the Afterlife for over 1000 years, with little social skills and plagued by wishing for vengeance and his only company being two kittens who become disciples under his rule. He has terrible social skills, if not lacking them entirely.
(I would argue that Aym and Baal also have horrific nonexistent social skills, so those three cat's can't really help each other communicate properly to anyone else outside themselves.)
It can be argued that since The One Who Waits had other vessels to pass time and try to kill /annoy his siblings before the prophesized Lamb arrival, that he would have developed them a little bit more, but I would argue that the power balance would have been oodles more severe since the vessels weren't the promised one. He didn't need them, so if they no longer were of service or disobeyed him, he got rid of them. Whether just sending them out or killing them, any how.
Lamb, however, knows they are the last Lamb, the prophesized liberator of The One Who Waits, and therefore his only option. They knew that they were his only reasonable way out of there (whether they asked for it or not) so they were oodles more comfortable than how a professional relationship would have been.
So they asked questions, bothered him, played and ran around him. Complained and vented to him. Yapped and yapped. What is he gonna do? Kill them? Find a new vessel? He can't. "You're as trapped into this prophecy as much as I am, so let's be friends"
Example parts from Chapter 3:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The power balance equalizes because Lamb did not see his presence a God, but rather a fellow prisoner and victim of fate. Rude and demanding, but in the same chains as they were. 'My lord' was simply formalities at first.
This puts Narinder / The One Who Waits in social situations he hasn't been in (or hardly been in) in over a thousand years, and frankly, he had no idea how to navigate them:
Example from Chapter 5:
Tumblr media
The God of Death has not needed to comfort or 'be there' for someone in a long, long time. The Lamb's presence is what forces him to try, even if his first attempt aren't perfect. So in that same chapter, he'll ask them a question to distract them. Conversation. Like how they do it.
Tumblr media
While I won't post a screenshot of everytime this happens in written format (not including the dreams/memories/flashbacks that haven't been posted yet)-
The One Who Waits is pushed outside of his bubble when it comes to socializing in a way that isn't just 'God-to-Lowly-Vessal' format. He has to talk to them like a person, because he's being talked to like a person, not a god on a pedestal.
Obviously after the final battle and betrayal (to both of them, otherwise known as the Grand Miscommunication) this means nothing for a while as tempers are still high and feelings are hurt. But overtime, this returns, and can show in small ways (ways that may not seem like comfort but is certainly an attempt) like just in Chapter 18:
Trying to bring them an 'offering' (breakfast) mirroring other times the Lamb has done the same for him:
Tumblr media
Crudely offering to replace something they are upset at losing/later offering reassurance abet in a curt way:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And what you mentioned: earlier when the Lamb is throwing up, narration shows they're having trouble with keeping their wool, cloak, bell, ect all back at the same time. He can see that. He has a mental boiling pot explosion over the fact that helping them is even a want that he has after the denial crisis he's experiencing where the only answer a minute ago seemed like he needed to kill them, and he chose comfort.
It is intentional. Narinder is learning how to show care, and allowing himself to show care. Slowly, and not perfect, but learning.

The Masters account had just released a new Submas comic as part of the event releases celebration, and one of my favorite little details is the difference in Ingo's and Emmet's body language!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As seen above, Emmet with his wider body language, emoting with both arms, often extending forward or the side as if out of the frame of his body and having at least one hand resting on his hip often.
Whilst Ingo always keeping one arm behind or on the side as the other arm carries what he's expressing, making it much more of a narrow body language, keeping it within the frame of his body as much as possible.
I do believe these small quirks of them are also seen present in their character model poses as well, as seen below :
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's really nice with how the comic expanded on that aspect, I love how uniform they are in poses BUT I ALSO LOVE the small subtle differences of their body language and behavior, it's really a neat aspect and bits of characterization to keep in mind!!!!

Whilst overall I prefer the manga to the anime, there's one aspect that I think the anime does better - the very ending.
Tumblr media
Compared to the manga's very compactly shown thoughts of the cast, the anime gives each of them a short scene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But although that change already is great, what matters to me the most, is this added scene of Saiko.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Despite it being so short, it feels so fitting and important to Saiko's character, making its absence in the original seem wrong. (They also added Rifuta, though comparatively, her scene isn't so significant.)

February 29- March 2 2024
The first time Sonic went Super in Road Trip wasn't exactly as stunning to Tails as other au's and stories.
Tails is like maybe 5 here (I'm not actually that organized on the timeline for this au yet, I'm getting there though, things are getting in order.) and he wasn't forced to grow up and be a hero in this au. So he's a bit more childish than canon Tails because he doesn't feel as pressured to mature and grow up fast. Plus, he genuinely thinks Sonic is going to die and this is the last time he see's him, so tears are bound to come down.

Gray and Graysons
One of the Bats has a secret. Something they never told to the others.
They were so very young but they have memories of a sibling, so small and tiny. They remember the burst of warmth they had in their heart when they held the tiny baby for just a moment.
But they weren’t allowed to keep them, their family couldn’t raise them. Money was tight, just enough for three but not for four, despite their shows always bringing in a crowd it was getting harder and harder for the world to be wowed by them in the new age and their sibling was too small and tiny and needed to be cared in a single place than for them to be on the road. Their lifestyle was not good for his tiny sibling apparently.
They had to watch as their parents gave his sibling away to people in suits, them promising to give his baby brother to a loving family when they find a ‘home’ for him. He watched his parents try to be strong only for his mother to break down once the car left down the road, his father holding her and apologizing, the rest of the circus troupe all silently coming over to give the heartbroken family condolences.
Richard ‘Dick’ Grayson had tears running down his face when he last saw his baby brother.
A brother he got to name before he had to be given away.
Daniel ‘Danny’ Grayson.
-x-x-
Dick never told the others. If anyone dug deep into his past they might find his brother’s birth records maybe, if someone got around to digitizing the paperwork for him but given the fact he was placed in the US childcare systems just a few days after his birth and the fact that Dick was still pretty young they most likely believed he didn’t remember his baby brother now. Not after so many years.
But they were wrong, Dick remembers. And he kept the secret close to his heart and memories.
And the only physical evidence he had was a single picture of him holding his brother, a smile on his tiny face towards their father who had taken the photo of them together. When he had lost his parents, lost most of the things that connected him to them, to his past in the circus that had been his whole life, had been taken from him in Gotham’s ruthless childcare system, he held on tight to the picture in secret. Hid it away from anyone trying to rip it from him, hid it from Bruce when the man took him in days later, hid it from Alfred despite how gentle the butler was towards him. He couldn’t, wouldn’t risk losing his photo at the time, he hadn’t trusted anyone and by the time he did he didn’t have the heart to reveal it.
So yes, the existence of his baby brother Danny was his most guarded and best kept secret.
So that’s why Dick, as Nightwing, nearly died from a heart attack when leaving a Justice League meeting he spotted a familiar face among one of the new engineers working in the Watchtower.
It was like seeing a young version of himself. Only, Dick could see that the young man was more than a copy of him, so much more than a clone. He held many traces of John Grayson but also had a bit more of Mary Grayson than Dick did. Small details that Dick foggely remembers taking note when he had held his baby brother.
“Hey, hurry up with that report Gray!” Shouted the head engineer from down the hall, his hand beckoning the young adult to come over.
“Coming! And boss, I told you Danny is fine!” Danny shouted back before hurriedly leaving a stunned Nightwing.
