Ok so, I had a silly idea for an Au. What if Nemona was sent back in time to Hisui? 

Introducing, Warden Nemona au!!! I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently so I finally decided to compile my thoughts in a post for fun! 

First off, how did Nemona even get sent to Hisui in the first place?

By pure accident! Or at least that's what I'm going for right now lol. 

A space time distortion opened up and she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. ( I probably could somehow connect this to the story of SV considering there are some time travel shenanigans going on there. I’ll think more about this in the future. )

Her situation is much like Ingo’s though it differs in some ways. 

When she landed in Hisui she was eventually found and taken in by the Diamond Clan. She has no memory of her life beforehand, except for her name. 

Ok here's where it diverges from the canon story a bit. For this au I decided to add a new Noble Pokemon, a Hisuian Goodra! ( hopefully I am not breaking the lore too much with this addition lol )

Now why did I pick Goodra of all pokemon? A few reasons. 

I really like Hisuian Goodra. That's it, that's the first reason lol. 

There is a Alpha Hisuian Goodra in the Ancient Quarry in the Coronet Highlands. I figure this Goodra could be a noble in this au. (also this location allows for more interactions with Ingo so yay! :D) 

In SV, Nemona has a Goodra on her team, so it acts as kind of a callback to that. 

The biggest reason I ultimately chose Hisuan Goodra though. Take a look at its pokedex entry real quick.

Ok so, the entry says that “it loathes solitude and is extremely clingy” and that it’ll be very upset if those dearest to it leave its side. And that actually kinda reminded me of Nemona. Let me explain. 

In the story of SV, before she meets the player, Nemona is looking for a friend/rival to challenge her. Her passion for battling is very clear, to the point where she seems to scare away other students due to her intensity. Everyone around her is either scared of her for her abilities and/or dislikes her because her family is rich and they assume she’s a stuck up princess. In the post game dialogue with Nemona, she talks about how she feels like “There was this invisible wall between me and everyone else.” She was clearly very lonely, and just wanted to have a friend who she could connect with. So when she does meet the protag, who doesn't push her away and seems to enjoy battling like she does, she immediately tries to befriend them. She is shown to be kinda clingy, probably afraid of losing her one chance at making a real friend. ( Of course, after the events of Area Zero and Mochi Mayhem, she finally has a group of friends who understand her, so yay!!! )

TLDR: It seems that both Hisuian Goodra and Nemona have a fear of being alone and tend to act a bit clingy because of it. So symbolism!!! Yay!!!

Ok let's move on to the actual plot of the au. I’m not gonna write everything here, just the basics, and I may change some details later on, but here's what I got! This takes place after the events of SV, and about five-ish months before Pla. 

First things first, Nemona lands in the Coronet Highlands and is actually first discovered by the noble Hisuian Goodra. It is quite skittish and shy, but is intrigued by this mysterious person who had just fallen from the sky. So it comes closer. When she begins to stir however, it immediately hides in its shell, shaking nervously. Around this time, both Warden Ingo Warden Melli had seen something falling into Lord Goodras domain and they decided to check it out together. With Lady Sneaslers help, they climbed onto the top where they found Nemona, lying on the ground unconscious. Ingo immediately springs into action, suspecting that what happened to him has happened once again. He thinks they should take her to the nearest camp to get help. At first Melli wants nothing to do with this but is convinced by Ingo to help out in the end. The two end up finding Adaman and explain the situation to him. Adaman decides to bring her over to the Diamond Settlement for safety. Once again, Melli disagrees with this decision, but once again he is convinced to help out. 

So that’s how she meets the Diamond Clan. 

A Few notes:

Despite the amnesia, she seems to remember almost everything about pokemon. She can even recognize if a specific Pokemon looks different than one she had seen in the future. (For example, She states that she, “has never seen a Goodra with a shell before!”)

Her personality is mostly the same. She is cheerful and positive even in tough situations, which makes it easy for the other Wardens to get along with her. However, they do think she is kiiiiiiiiinda weird, because everytime she sees a new pokemon, her first reaction is “I’m gonna fight it!” Most of them are convinced that she has no survival instincts. 

She, like Ingo, uses Pokeballs, making her the only member of the diamond clan to use them. 

Due to her low stamina, she finds it difficult to run or climb for too long, leading her to usually sit upon Goodra’s shell while traveling. 

She and Ingo get along well. Whenever they start up a conversion they will almost always start infodumping about pokemon to each other. Melli tries to avoid them at all costs. 

In the story, when Lord Goodra becomes frenzied, Nemona tries to help him alone, but ends up over exerting herself and passing out for a whole day. Adaman basically forced her to leave it to Akari, so as to not hurt herself again. Nemona is glad that Akari saved the day, but feels disappointed in her own abilities and feels kinda useless for not being able to help. 

She does get along with Akari though! Especially when Nemona realized how strong of a battler she was. 

And that's what I’ve got so far! I’m definitely gonna work more on this in the future though. If y'all have any questions about the au feel free to ask! You can either comment on this post or through the inbox, either works!

So....normally with these so far, I've doodled couple more portraits for the ref, and this was due to them all being brand new characters, meaning I needed more angles drawn about them to grasp how they look like properly.

HOWEVER, Ava is literally my most drawn character, being my main one for my OG story/world, so I decided I won't need to do that for her space AU version. The changes I did for Ava apart from her outfit are very minor, just normal human ears and different hair-color/human eyes. I did pick her an actual IRL surname too, as using her OG didn't really fit together with the rest, being a fantasy one.

Au Ava/this crew's major overarching story info below:

Ava is not just a researcher on a rescue-crew spaceship: she used to/still works with a group that was actively trying to expose the unethical experiments done to people like Stefan when he was a child, and find a way to cure them from the side-effects of these experiments.

They managed to complete their first goal, and currently she is focused on finding a cure for Stefan and other victims' "G.I.H.A-Syndrome" which stands for Gas Induced Hallucination Aggression Syndrome. or just GIHAS in short.

The name comes from their condition being triggered by the inhalation of a special type of gas that was discovered 40 years ago. It was found to be much safer alternative for a lot of systems especially with space industry, as it was seemingly non-toxic and not easily flammable. However, while this is not widely known, it can cause vivid hallucinations to some people, although what dictates this reaction is still unknown.

The victims/test subjects like Stefan were conditioned to it from early childhood, where it could potentially be used for mind control, for sleeper agent assassins. (Stefan is actually the only "Successful" test subject, as all others so far have lacked the aggression, or were uncontrollable/paralyzed by fear in their hallucinating state. Stefan in turn, naturally developed a "trigger" for his aggression, and can actually select his targets, rather than going after people mindlessly - most of the time)

For Ava this is personal, given her fiancee Roman is also one of these child test subjects. He is currently held at the special facility her parents manage, because his hallucinations might cause him to lash out, and he's become quite paranoid. (The condition can get bad enough that you won't need the gas anymore - just the trigger.)

Nadiya and her crew are helping her with the research, as their job often takes them into the most remote regions of space that could hold important and useful data for her. They also allow her to work on this in secret.

Ava was the one that convinced Nadiya to take Stefan in the ship, as she knew he was one of the GIHAS patients, AND she was one of the women in the previous ship he worked at, just in disguise. She was on an undercover mission to keep an eye on Stefan for the organization that experimented on him, as she was doing a double agent task. (She was also part of the team that raided the prison he was in, that was continuing these experiments, but Stefan fled before she could take him with rest of the patients to the facility where they are currently being held for their own safety, while cure is being searched)

She often goes on a side-mission with her android companion as part of her own research, whom she rescued years ago, and had a friend help repair for her (The android is gonna be the final member for this crew, I'll make them later)

IN REGARDS TO TULPAR CREW

Ava doesn't interact with them as much as the rest, but has some thoughts about each still:

CURLY: She sympathizes with the difficult situation he was in, after all she's seen first-hand, multiple times, what corporate greed does, how it can put people in impossible situations. She also understands the psychological hold his toxic, manipulative friend had on him. Ava is still critical of him of course, but she's too busy with her own mission to dwell in this that much. The threat is gone, the crew is going home with any medical needs being taken care of, that's all she needs to know.

ANYA: She of course feels sorry for her, and what she went through, and also admires how despite it all, Anya is still persisting, even helping Cherry with medical duties. She would not judge her of course even if she DID struggle to hold herself together, and would not want to continue her nurse duty anymore.

DAISUKE: He's quite amusing as Nadiya also puts it. His cheerfulness reminds her of some people at home that she knows of, and its funny seeing Stefan try not to look so annoyed when he has to listen to him and Mara babble about Pokemon....

SWANSEA: His grumpy old man energy is VERY funny to her, because it again reminds her of some people she knows. Specifically one of the dads of her frenemy Irina.

His name is Kiin! I've been wanting to draw some doodles/comics about my oc's story, but I just never get the time. I do have a lot of info about him on his Toyhouse page tho

Basically he's a sensitive boy who grew up to learn "boys don't cry" and who's always hiding his true emotions behind a smile. It's only after he learns to actually acknowledge and regulate his emotions in a healthy way that he starts getting better. He's also dating two hot chireans at the same time.

Most of his story revolves around his abandonement issues. He's an orphan, and now as an adult he's become a bit of a people pleaser as a coping mechanism? He believes that if he's useful to others, he'll be deserving of love.

He's a buhru, which is an indigenuos tribe from Bilgewater, an island nation that has trade relations with Piltover and Zaun. The buhru value strenght of spirit above all. Kiin has come to interpret this to mean he can't show weakness, this has turned him into a profoundly lonely person.

The buhru are also natural magic users! So Kiin has latent magic abilities, he's just not very talented at them, at least right now.

January - I guess I didn't draw much this month cuz this isn't that good lawl. but its ok I had fun designing the outfit (Millie, she/they, my oc)

Febuary - Owed arttttt I love how these sorts of headshots turn out I shoul draw them more often (Castiel, he/they, not my oc)

March - FUCK yeah I LOVE THIS THINGG easily one of the best things I made all 2024. I made this for a custom hoodie I got its sooo awesome I'm so happy with it (not an oc at all lol, its based on Darius + Rotteen - More Adventures ~ the Forever Fieldtrip ~)

April - Another month where I didn't draw much of interest but I finally remade a ref for an old ass oc of mine and idk. its always nice when I succeed at drawing someone buff lol (Spine, she/her, my oc)

May - FUCK YEAHHHH LOVE THIS PIECE there was actually another piece I made this month that was really good but ultimately I used this cuz the shading and pose and all that goes hard !!!! It's inspired by Emoticon + Rotteen - Sprung! lol the Halley Labs hyperfixation was going haaaard (Ridorii, she/they, my oc)

June - This is from a jokey ych I made awhile ago lmfao, no one ever bought one (so sad) but thats ok it was fun. If you got this far and want one of these uhhh ask I guess lmfao they're still for sale (Haten, he/they/it, not my oc)

July - ARTFIGHT WOOOOOOO I didn't do too much during artfight but I went HARD when I could !! especially on HL ocs lol.. this is one of them :3 perspective is fun and shading is awesome and overall I'm just really happy with this (Joshua Livingston, he/they/ze, not my oc)

August - Idk what drove me to make this (besides my hyperfixation) but I'm glad I did cuz this goes HAAAARD. its a reference to ON Trax Vol. 5 lol (Uhhhh. theres like. 10 different ocs referenced here, some are mine and some aren't, if you're curious about one in particular just ask lol)

September - Made this before shit hit the fan w/ Patricia but whatever. Bicycle is a fucking AWESOME album and I cannot stress enough how much it speaks to me on a therian level. Had to make something based on it, legally required, and I think it turned out nice (Me aka Jasper, it/they, not an oc lol its just me)

October - Had a wonderful experience (/gen) where a friend I hadn't talked to for months messaged me out of the blue and immediately came out to me. I turned them into a furry within the week. Heres the fursona they commissioned me to make :3 shoutout to them if they're seeing this btw (Suki, they/them, not my oc)

November - Aforementioned friend said I should draw one of my ocs skateboarding, so I did. It turned out, like, surprisingly good? Power of using references I suppose lol. Also I LOVE this guy it's one of my favorite ocs fr (Spectrum, it/spark, my oc)

December - More owed! Woohoo! I got them to draw a temp ref for my JJBA oc, she got me to draw her RE cbc :P It's nothing insane or whatever but its nice (Kobalt, he/him, not my oc)

OKAY LISTEN, Aldrich doesn't have pre-goop form for YOU, I know him though fdjhfhshd xD If anything, Laurence from BB has a similar situation: the girls will go all 😳 at how attractive he is, when like.. his human form is up to individual interpretation... but you just roll with it because what else do you get? But at least with Laurence there is an excuse because his beast form has lost intelligence and just screeches, when with Aldrich we don't have evidence that losing form led to losing personality! So I am STILL a chicken and a weakling tho dshfhdsfgd

The main difference between this comm sheet and my previous one is updating the prices, simplifying my finishing process, and to showcase more of what I can do with my art!!

Got the norm base prices - 20$ headshot, 25$ halfbody, 30$fullbody

Finishing is my term for shading, as I have two shading methods, and a wiggly-line style of art!

Examples below of Style 1 (smooth) 2 (pixel) and 3 (wiggle)

And I do offer discounts for symmetrical works! I didn't write it on my sheet but its usually 5 bucks, whatever makes the number look good.

Now for the 4 featured things -

I usually give updates for 1-2 sketch phases, a color phase, and then the finished piece. Once I send you one update, I'll wait for your approval before moving onto the next phase. During these updates, any requested changes should coincide with the stage of the artwork (Posing during sketching, color changes during colors, etc.). I usually add filters onto my art, I'll be more than happy to send unfiltered alternate versions upon request. He's done!! This lil guy has been an insanely difficult to design but I'm finally happy with him!

Yuzu is the conceptual/alternate timeline son of Goku and Frieza, his name primarily a (very purposeful) play on Saiyan names and Frieza Force names, as well as his biogem colors.

He has some odd mutations, mainly his hair consisting of a fullbody mane that goes from his head to the tip of his tail, including the split in his head gem as a result. He also has EXTREMELY sharp teeth and a strong bite force. All of these radical mutations are theorized to be tied to the Oozaru form that he doesn't have access to.

Also his potential? I don't even have to go into detail: he's a prodigy and has the potential to access both Frost Demon forms and Saiyan forms. (doodle of SSJ and Golden in the upper right)

Unlike both of his parents personalities, he's pretty shy and sedate in normal day to day behavior (including being a very quiet child most of the time) but becomes familiarly intense during combat, and does hold a major interest in cultivating said skill.

Lore wise, in the timeline he exists in, Goku had been divorced for several years amicably due to his absence after Cell's defeat and ended up with Frieza after some very unexpected changes in the timeline. Their relationship is positive and Yuzu has a very stable home life, if not a bit unconventional <3

So yeah, here's the guy! For the main ref I pretty much put him in the same outfit that young frieza had in the broly movie since I needed to have all his features and traits visible. Normally though? He has absolutely immaculate outfits (of course he would, Frieza's a rich mf)
