oh man, I'll try my best, its been awhile since i've watched Evo, and words are not my friends !

Grian knows about the Watchers, they were a common occurrence in Evo, the portals, the pranks, the traps, and the symbols were normal in his day-to-day.

He was their favourite even, gifting him a diamond, in a chest full of coal, a diamond in the rough, in their many eyes. I'm not sure if he knew this though.

I do think at his core, he has a Watcher's personality. He pranks people, he sets traps, he leaves symbols even of his own face, he makes secret bases under other's bases so he can watch them, he likes spying. They must've taken notice of this.

Its not actual lore, but Taurtis makes fun of Grian multiple times for talking to the Audience, which, fourth wall, is us! But I like the idea of it being story, its the Watchers, already leading him down this path from the beginning, hes so promising ! Taurtis calls them the voices in his head, Grian doesn't argue, "Are the voices in your head telling you that?" "Hm..... No, the voices don't even know, its a secret!" The voices, the audience, the watchers, all the same thing. Grian says he's meant to be the hero of the story.

Anyway, Grian meets the Watchers after the server all teams up and slays the dragon, they reach the End. He is 25 years old.

The portal leads him somewhere different than everyone else, everyone else goes home. He goes beyond the credits, who knows where it spawns him, but it doesn't matter, he's being offered a deal, a chance to ascend.... I don't know the exact reason he'd agree, but I'm leaning towards a selfish reason, he's gotten bored with his limitations, he wants to be better, do better, those updates.. They're enticing and he's envious, in the beginning he was punished for being greedy, but now he's being rewarded.

After ? I guess he just lives with the Watchers, in an End city somewhere ? Learning how to craft portals by hand, update ideas, watching players, pranks, traps, symbols, fun ! its fun ! hes having fun !

He starts growing wings ! Its not really fun anymore !! That was the one thing they didn't tell him about, not directly, he agreed to be a Watcher, he clicked his heels and said I wanna be a watcher, but he didn't understand it meant really becoming one physically, yknow, it could've been a title! a role he's meant to play !

I write two paths from this point. 1) He runs away from the Watchers and ends up in Hermitcraft, still with those brilliant white wings.

2) He just sticks with it, creature mode, he grows wings, it sucks, but things can be fun again, back to it, he grows talons, it hurts, but still, he spends his time digging through servers and player lists, he grows two more eyes and feathers peek through his skin. He's 25 years old, he likes pranks, and traps, and symbols. This is more the bad end friends version LOL that I use for fanart fun.

Thats, all the storyline ? That I draw ? Its nothing crazy, just a tinyyyy bit more than canon . My version, my theory, my boy !!

But at the end of the day, regardless, I do think the Watchers genuinely love him, maybe in the way you love a puppy and give them treats when they sit and be quiet, but they're extremely fond of him.

Talia al Ghul for the character breakdown

Ive only seen this character's portrayal in the Arkham games so I have no idea what she's like in other media, but from what bits I've seen from her backstory and her relationship to Bruce, I think she has the potential to be really interesting...if she wasn't plagued by male writers being fucking weird about her.

The biggest problem I have with her in Arkham City ties into her relationship with her dad Ra's and his obsession with getting Batman to be his heir cos male primogeniture. Talia is only a puppet leader and is used as a pawn to get Batman to submit to his Order and become the next leader of Assassins (even though Talia is a perfectly good leader in her own right). And for some reason, Talia is okay with her father neglecting her in favour of her bat boyfriend. Its only when Ra's threatens to kill her to force Batman to join does Talia turn on him. So neglecting me and treating me like a pawn, thats fine but putting a knife to my throat as an ultimatum for Batman is when I stand up? Talia, girl, have some respect for yourself. Heck, even in Ra’s and Talia’s character files: they state Ra’s only supports Talia's on and off relationship with Bruce so he can groom Bruce into becoming his heir and push Talia aside.

And Bruce himself is no better as a lover to Talia, he lies to her about joining the League of Assassins cos he just wants a vial of Ra's blood and im like DUDE, JUST TELL TALIA THAT. I know she's concerningly devoted to her father but just telling her 'hey, i need your father's blood sample to make an antidote cos not only I will die, but thousands of ppl in Gotham will die cos Joker has shipped samples of my poisoned blood to hospitals all over the city' Im pretty sure Talia would understand. Im pretty sure an assasin group would want people alive to, yknow, kill them.

Imagine Batman going up to Talia, explaining all this and both team up to fight Ra's cos they both know Ra's wont just let them take some cos he's the most prideful fucker on the planet and you can still have that boss fight with him in that sands of time dimension in the game, but with Talia as backup. You can even have her have this inner conflict of having to fight back against her father cos she wants to help Bruce with his mission but she secretly wanted Bruce to join her crusade to make her father happy and cos Bruce was the only person she felt close to (it’s like a win win) but she knows deep down, the more close he is the more her father will push her away so she helps Batman defeat Ra’s and even takes a sample of his blood for Bruce to use as an antidote.

So we have a character who is extremely devoted to her father and her lover, yet gets mistreated by BOTH of them. And gets killed off by Joker. Man, Rocksteady really doesnt know how to be normal around women.

Then I read her original backstory in the comics...

WOW. IT IS... SO MUCH WORSE

Not only is Talia a subservient pawn to her father and has become just as nasty and cruel as him, but also raped Bruce and became pregnant with Damian, something that she kept secret from Bruce for years. And the comics portrayal as this evil foreign bitch who raped our super cool white hero and Damian is portrayed as a “bastard evil love child with powers that become more controlled when he meets his white relatives”

So yeah… just write Talia like a normal fucking person and not for some weird racist fetish or make her a neglected woman at the behest of her father who only views her as a disposable tool.

i absolutely think all the hockey-watching states (which, in my head, are all the midwest states w/ nhl teams, all of the northeast states. except for VT, NH—and maybe RI?—who only watch it every so often, washington, and colorado) gave mass shit for his team (the bruins) getting knocked out of the first round by the FLORIDA PANTHERS (who BARELY got into the playoffs) after their literal record-breaking regular season and the insane fucking team they had. wash, minnesota, chicago/illinois, probably gave him the least shit for it, in that order, but there were def a few remarks about it. the only one who didnt say anything was probably colorado bc he was the defending champion and got knocked out first round by washington LMFAO. but the northeast was RUTHLESS. i’d like to think they gave him sooooo much shit for it he couldnt even show his face around in the statehouse (outside of meetings) until new jersey got knocked out 2nd round. even connie joined in despite repeated attempts by mass to disqualify him from even talking about the playoffs considering connecticut has not had an nhl team since 1997.

i should add new york got knocked out like literally the next day so he couldnt give mass shit for it as much but at least he didnt have a record-breaking team like the bruins !

anyway ❤️ new jersey is not shutting up about the fact the devils beat the rangers until next season’s playoffs start. he is bringing that shit up every time he reasonably can.

okay, now into who i think each hockey-watching state is rooting for/bandwagoning now. the current matchups right now are: in the west, we have the dallas stars versus the vegas golden knights (which i’m calling vgk for short), and in the east, we have the carolina hurricanes against the florida panthers.

i should note that they are all very happy the cup is staying in america (most people hate vgk but the american haters r at least happy they knocked the edmonton (canada) oilers out)

I wonder is Classic meeting Blueberry ever became a bit of an eyesocket opener for him in regards to how he treats Papyrus... yknow since they're swapped and Blue's own Papyrus treats him like a kid who needs to be watched over a lot of the time despite Blue not only being older but in actuality Blue is probably the third strongest of the Star Sanses if we aren't counting Reaper (whom im pretty sure isnjust chilling in the Doodle Sphere to get out of his job and troll everyone) and temporary team ups with other, more powerful Sanses. I don't really know much about Lust or Comet though so I may be wrong, but I think it's really telling that Blue is the only normal, completely mortal Sans that is a full time Star and can keep up with Dream and Ink, an immortal Guardian and a God respectively.

Blue is absolutely the third strongest! He’s been there longer than Lust and Comet and it absolutely shows. Not to mention Sans actually got training in his AU, and Comet isn’t really a Star for the fighting more than just having a lot of info from multiversal travelers.

And Classic definitely learned a lot from Blue.

He was never super overprotective like Stretch is, but he actually IS the big brother, so he absolutely sees Papyrus as the little baby bones he raised a lot of the time (especially with all that happens in the Resets). Meeting and interacting with Blue absolutely changed his perspective on Paps, giving him a bit more credit than he did in the past. Paps may still be a lovable, slightly naive guy, but he’s strong and passionate and smart — just in his own ways! My guy may not be the best at puzzles, but he’s very emotionally intelligent and it’s truly something Sans can admire.

recently I've been thinking about the haruno clan being a powerful civilian clan and not a lot of people realize because they're busy with the shinobi shit and all that. sakura thinks they know, so she doesn't tell them, and then on a mission one day she gets found out somehow and team 7 loses their shit.

maybe cause of a proposal, or something? cause I imagine a merchant clan would be a good investment lol. she gets proposed to and they all go batshit lol

I also think it could be interesting considering she's tsunades apprentice, yknow?

You know what would be hilarious, if this happened during the genin days.

I imagine the Harunos probably traded in something related to plants, possibly teas or maybe even some plant based medicine. That's why Sakura chose medic nin later on because it was something she was familiar with. They were traveling merchants for a long time, probably in the last few generations they decided to settle down in different areas to have a more permeant base. Kizashi moved to Konoha himself from the Sand Village to help expand business. (I am always in the belief that at least one of Sakura's parents is from the Sand) Sakura really doesn't say anything because she thought they knew, yeah her parents live pretty humble, that has to do with the fact her family is so used to moving a lot it was better to travel light. It's not like she was hiding it.

Then one day they got a mission that just so happened to be in the town where one of Sakura's extended family member lived. Weirdly enough team 7 were requested specially. Kakashi knew that some members of a powerful merchant clan lived in that town but he didn't know the clan's name. Sakura was going to tell them it was her family but she thought it be funny to surprise them, after all they never bothered asking the merchant's daughter who the powerful merchant family might be.

They meet with the client and Sakura was immediately weirded out.

It started out normal enough. The client, Lord Inoue, had introduced himself and had said he hired them to help out during the negotiations with the merchant clan. They had planned to arrange a marriage between themselves and the merchants. Of course team 7 agreed so the village can get paid and they can get that bag.

Then things started getting weird.

Lord Inoue called in his son, Daichi, who looked to be fivish years older than the genin. Daichi got down on one knee in front of Sakura.

Several people proceed to lose their shit, including a member of the merchant family who was visiting to hear more about the negotiations from Lord Inoue. This being Sakura's pink haired aunt, Nadeshiko.

Aunt Nadeshiko proceeds to lose her temper and yanks her niece back. "Who the hell do you think you are trying to go behind our backs and propose to my niece without her father or me present! You broke lord! I will be taking my niece and if you have any hope for these negotiations to work you better pray for good fortune!"

Lord Inoue, trying to gain some control, sputters that he has the shinobi under contract and they can not go with her.

Without hesitation Nadeshiko turns to Kakashi, her hands already reaching for her purse. "How much do you need for me to buy out the contract?"

Kakashi is so fucking confused by this point that Sakura has to give the number.

Nadeshiko rolls her eyes. "That number is insulting. We will pay triple. Here is half." She proceeds to toss her purse at Kakashi and then walk out the door with Sakura in hand. The boys scramble after.

While walking out the boys see the matching Haruno circles on Sakura's and Nadeshiko's backs.

"Well," Kakashi said as he put the money away. "We know the merchant clan's name now."

NO NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH IT FUCKS ME UP THAT TECHNICALLY SPENCER AND DEREK HAD TWO GOODBYES- WITH SPENCER BEING THE LAST ONE TO SEE HIM ON THE BULLPEN TOO-

Spencer is too used to people just.... walking off. Without even understanding how much it might (will) hurt him on the process. They just know he will be sad like every normal person would, but like the ever lasting grief well- that is another thing entirely. And if you think about it, the last few years before 11s had really tested that, with Emily's "death", then Maeve', then Gideon' and finally Diana's decline, these are permanent. (Well minus one- you get what I mean.) On the last five years before Derek's departure Spencer had experimented more loss and grief that in all his life conbined, that is pretty much the entirety of his 30s if you think about it. Even more that beforehand because it's, again, permanent.

(Hell, in 11x14 we see a very avid imagination of him (and J.J) being the one to find Derek's dead body, because they truly couldn't help themselves lmao)

So the first few things that the latter says wehn they part ways is "I am sorry I can't stay" followed by an "I'll always be by your side." Because yknow, for all Spencer knows based on prior experience is the fact his friend from 11-something years is walking away just like literally everyone else had. He literally runs away the moment he sees him and J.J saying goodbye because no, he is fucking tired of departures. So the "this isn't permanent, I promise" bit is so important and it makes me so sad and happy and I cry agahagaha also the "second" farewell is on the very end of the Ep, with the team on the conference room apparently discussing a new case so their eyes meet and Spencer just...nods. like a "we'll- I'll be fine" gesture. He is consumed by grief obviously, but is able to accept it so much better due to circumstances.

(also y'know, this ep was directed by MGG so maybe that was why lmao but I still pick my view of shit ❤️)

Depending on driver vibes you could have non-teammate alliances like with Cleo and Scott, lone wolf drivers like Pearl... oooh, what would a 5am Oscar be like?? There was also the secret thing going on between Grian and BigB, and you have reluctant team/soul mates like Grian with Scar.

oh there will be a Lot of non-teammate alliances in this hypothetical double life. i have so many thoughts actually on how some of the teams would work. if i get any of the dynamics wrong do know that i have not watched double life since it first aired

ferrari [55&16] - i think they'd be similar to a joel and etho dynamic (tho i think they'd have the same kind of history as desert duo). one is obsessed with the other, they both are Not Normal about each other, they both would absolutely try to kill each other. the base is made of wood (the car is shit) but hey at least it looks pretty and is honestly pretty practical (they get a few wins in that thing). they die together in lava (taken by circumstances out of their control)

haas [27&20] - very similar to impulse and bdubs. insane about eachother. would murder everyone else whilst living the suburban family life

I hope you don’t mind me asking but I was just wondering what relationships Jamie will have with Roy and Keeley in your baby Jamie story. Something I’ve really enjoyed in your other fics like The Same Story, and your most recent fic is the amazing friendship Jamie has with them. Obviously a lot of things are different in your upcoming fic, and their history with Jamie is going to be vastly different, so I was really curious.

i don't mind at all!! i love love love talking about this fic and this is one of the like. central components of it and one of the parts that's most fascinating to me to think about and poke at, roy particularly.

roy and he have the same antagonism that they do when we meet them in canon though it looks obviously very different because of the fact that yknow. jamie's fifteen and not on the team so roy is MUCH less aggressive/actively beefing with a teenager lmao but they do sort of..... roy is endlessly frustrated with jamie's attitude and the fact that jamie seems to, from minute one, hate his guts for absolutely no reason at all. it evolves over time as the story progresses from this kind of frustrated, baffled resentment to roy somehow now TWICE OVER landing in a situation where he is sort of parenting someone else's kid with them without really meaning to, that's just how it happened.

there's phoebe, who he's fulfilling a very directly parental role with (and as somebody who usually means 'mother and grandmother' when i say 'my parents' i loved seeing this on screen. he's not her dad but he is very much a parent to her) and then there's the way that he and ted end up sort of coparenting jamie together by the time they get him out of his dad's house. it's like..... it's complicated and not very clear cut, because while ted is very much Jamie's Dad at this point roy is like..... he's not jamie's dad but he is A Parent, much in the way he is with phoebe which is a very fun like. family dynamic to explore in all directions (roy and ted and jamie as a collective, what this does for roy and ted's relationship, the relationship jamie ends up having with roy's sister (who i'm once again calling sarah sdlfs) and phoebe).

(there's also some complex stuff in there about the way that i've adapted some canon events - including the city win over richmond in 1x10 which jamie still plays a key role in and roy's retirement and refusal to coach jamie when he came back which, jamie's not on the team but that Situation still manifests in a way)

and with keeley it's obviously EXTREMELY different since they are not, never will be, and do not even come close to being involved romantically or sexually, gd bless. absolutely not. so we, and jamie, are introduced to her as the girlfriend of the richmond captain prior to roy, a very briefly appearing man i've dubbed leo charles. and then she's around richmond doing PR because of the job rebecca gives her, which is when she and jamie start interacting more. and the relationship they have - which again i feel i must stress because you know how fandoms are lmao is completely platonic at every point - is a very important one to jamie because she like....... treats him like a person, not like a child. she asks for his opinion on things and actually listens, she has a respect for him and his thoughts that he hasn't seen a lot.

and compared to the others too there's this sense, even when those relationships improve, with ted and roy and company, that they feel like he's someone they need to protect and care for, which is true! they do! and keeley is protective of him as well, is aware he's young and has been badly hurt and needs looking out for, but that's not the role SHE directly has in his life so she's like. someone who he doesn't feel like thinks he needs minding, or whatever, she's someone he can go to if he needs to feel Normal and go check out the new hipster coffee shop that's opened in the area or give an opinion on an outfit or something. he admires her and thinks she's probably the coolest person alive, pretty much.

He walks to the cafe with a smile on his face, meeting up with Gakushuu has always been the biggest highlight of his week. It’s always a pleasure to see his friend being his true self without worrying about his school duties since his father has been less strict and he hasn’t been in the student council since junior high. Once he entered the cafe, he scanned his surroundings and found Gakushuu already eating a slice of cake in their regular seats. He laughs and walks over to his seat opposite where his friend is sitting. Gakushuu looks up and beams at him, “Yuuma, you’re here!” “Saturday’s always been something I look forward to.” He smiles, “Of course I’m here, I get to see you after all.” His friend slightly blushes at that, “Well, I look forward to this day too.” He quietly says, but not quiet enough for him not to hear. Yuuma chuckles and goes to sit down. “Is it because of the cake or me?” He looks down to the mostly eaten strawberry cake in front of him. “It’s difficult to tell, with your obsession with sweets and all that.” “Wha- Hey!” The other yelled at the accusation, “I’m not obsessed! I just like sweets at a normal level like everyone else.” “Kayano isn’t everyone else, Gakushu.” He teased, grinning. “I wasn’t talking about Yukimura, asshole!” His friend pouted. “Whatever you say, pretty boy.” That makes Gakushuu shut up and continue eating his cake. Yuuma chuckles once more and goes to order a cup of black coffee for himself and another strawberry cake for his friend, because he knows one won’t satisfy him. Eventually, they start talking about anything interesting that occurred this past week and he can’t help but think of how cute and pretty his friend is. He had never stopped wondering how he managed to befriend Gakushuu so quickly, surely treating him like a regular person wasn’t the only reason they started to grow close. “Gakushuu.” The other stopped chatting about something Karma did and looked at him, “Is.. everything alright?” He took a deep breath. “You… Why did you become friends with me?” He looked away, “All I did was act kind.” Gakushuu laughed softly at that, “That’s exactly why I wanted to be friends with you.” Yuuma looked back at him. “I couldn’t sense a hint of malice from you. I couldn’t sense that you wanted me for my money. I couldn’t sense fear.” His friend smiles, “But what I could sense… is genuine kindness and respect for me, not as the rich and smart son of the principal, but respect for me as a human being. There weren’t many like you, so kind and optimistic, so pretty…” Yuuma’s eyes widened at the last word, “You… what did you…” “Oh! I- well… Haha!” His friend laughs nervously. “I have soccer practice in ten minutes! Wow, time sure does fly, haha!” He quickly stood up and placed down some money. “You can keep the change! OKAY BYE!” Then he quickly exited the cafe. “You…” There are many things he wants to say. “You left the soccer team immediately after junior high…” He mumbled instead. ‘Fuck, what did that mean?’

i love writing cute moments between these two, first they get to hug and hold hands in the first fic, now they'll get to kiss in the sequel ;)

rhea: hes extremely resourceful. in fact, he sources a lot of the cyberware he flips himself. he scavenges it from dead bodies in turf war zones. theyre not using it anymore!

hes also just generally a very resourceful techie, and has great skill in macgyvering stuff on the fly

shelly: shes pretty resourceful! she was trained to work on trauma team so she knows how to work fast and under pressure and make the best of a bad situation. shes gotten kinda soft though, nowadays she works from a more proper clinic– she got her start and her good reputation from a near perfect cyberarm install after a someones arm got blown off, right near ground zero.

🍒: does your character have a best friend? how long have they known each other? what do they like most about each other? how did they meet?

rhea: his answer to this would be no. he keeps to himself and doesnt really let anyone close. hes the most important person in his life.

that being said. sometimes jules she/hers him. and he does not do his normal line of snapping and asking how they know him like that.

rheas known jules a long time. they met when rhea worked at the collective. they like each other because they each see what they need to he for themselves in the other. thats also why they hate each other.

that being said, 'best friend' isnt the word id use for the relationship between jules and rhea. but i guess theyre his only friend.

shelly: yknow. i dont know. out of the characters i have established, id say jack the ripperdoc, but theyre honestly more work colleagues than that. and jack is like. anonymous. so i dont know who her best friend is. ill have to come up with one!

hI THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING AND I AM SO SORRY _(:3 」∠)_

So it AAALLL started with my overlong post-Entertainment District Coping fic I wrote the majority of between episodes 10 and 11 of Entertainment District, trying to find a way for Tanj and the bois to survive the. yknow. Gigantic Poison Explosion.

I wrote Giyuu and Shinobu heading there with an antidote, and Giyuu having to dig around through the rubble to find Tanjiro, half dead. In that I draw comparisons between his relationship with Tanjiro and his relationship with the now-deceased Kyojuro, very different but all leading into the same conclusion: He can't stand to lose anyone else who is as special and just sunshine incarnate as Kyo was. It's told interspersed between Giyuu trying to find/save Tanjiro and my headcanon for Giyuu and Kyo's first meeting, in which Giyuu became a Hashira AFTER Kyo and Kyo was his mentor throughout. Never finished or published it because most of it didn't make sense in canon after Ep 11 came out.

Then I moved onto my Demon!Rengoku bullshit. In this fic that takes place any time post Entertainment District, Rengoku has been posthumously turned into a demon by Douma in an attempt to get close to/kill Tanjiro. Waking up with no memory, no awareness that he's a demon, and nowhere else to go, Kyo wanders to Giyuu's house. Giyuu tries to just end him right then and there but can't work up the nerve, even when Kyo attacks him. Haven't gotten too far, but the gist is that he and Kyo have to team up (with Akaza?? [obviously he'd be fucking PISSED that Douma managed to turn Kyo when he couldn't, so maybe some enemy of my enemy is my friend?]) to figure out who turned him and how to turn him back. Probably my spiciest fic? Demons sexy what can I say. I think I'm pretty good at writing smut but I can literally never work up the nerve so. yknow.

I ALSO have a much more fluffy fic based on the idea of Giyuu being injured in battle, waking up in the butterfly mansion with Kyo having thought he died. Kyo tries to confess that he's realized his love for him but panics last minute and ends up saying he's realized Giyuu never met his brother. Giyuu accepts and they end up on a date that neither really realizes is a date except poor Senjuro, who now kind of has to play matchmaker! Very fluffy and silly and a good break from the darker fics I had been working on.

Annnnd another less overtly Rengiyuu fic as part of my Modern AU in which Giyuu (Kyo's roommate[and they were ROOMMATES]) and Sanemi (over at their apartment because he was bored) find themselves embroiled in the Rengoku family drama after Senjuro and Kyo appear at their apartment, Kyo with a black eye from their father. Explores Giyuu and Sanemi's shared past (dead siblings), Sanemi's relationship with his own father, and my personal thoughts for how Shinjuro and Kyojuro's relationship would have played out A.) If Kyo never died and B.) in a modern setting.

That was interrupted by As the World Caves In (read it here!) and will likely be interrupted by some Everybody Lives AU Secret Relationship bullshit in the future.

What do you think a hypothetical "meet the parents" situation be like for Jotaro and Kakyoin?

i guess we kinda already have the answer for holly lol it was very swift and reciprocal amicability but even if they met outside of circumstances like that, i think it'd be mostly the same. holly is very sweet and it's easy for her to be motherly to anyone younger than her esp someone who can be as polite as kakyoin. i think he'd be very overwhelmed with it tho 😭 if it were different circumstances than canon i think it takes a bit of both a) just getting used to and b) making their relationship more personal before kakyoin like. adjusts and is able to like accept it me think. once he does it's very easy for him and her to team up against jotaro. there's art where holly kisses one cheek and kakyoin kisses the other and jotaro is blue-screening ohhh i lvoe that shit i eat it up i do not care i know it's cringe i dont care it's fun

AAAAAAS FOR JOTARO MEETING KAKYOIN'S PARENTS....

i do think the nuances of it would depend on which au ur looking at (if it's a kakyoin lives, if it's a kakyoin lives and was never injured au (cowardice btw), if it's a no-journey-happened au, reincarnation, etc etc etc) BUT i will say:

i dont think they would hate jotaro, no matter what. even if kakyoin is dead and jotaro is visiting after the fact to apologize/explain, i do not think they would hate him. probably uncomfortable with him, but they would not hate him cause he is literally a kid too. it's not his fault all this shit went down. he didn't ask for it. and it's the least they can do for noriaki now to watch over his friend. i have a post about this here

i think that ^ is echoed in kakyoin-lives aus. they would never hate him. like no matter their opinion on the adults in the situation, they'd see jotaro as a victim too. i think they'd be glad someone as big and strong as jotaro was there for kakyoin while whatever happened, happened. even if theyre a little weirded out by jotaro cause he's just so yknow. bizarre. el oh el. i think just by nature of like, kakyoin's parents being such normal people, that they never completely understand jotaro so while they see that he makes kakyoin very happy and theyre happy for that by extension, they def just don't get it 😭 but with how dedicated jotaro is to their son i dont think they'd feel that they need to get it tbh. esp cause since meeting jotaro/the rest of the crusaders, kakyoin begins learning how to reach out to them, too. basically im saying, i dont think kakyoin's parents and jotaro would ever get on like holly and kakyoin do, but i think both parties would come to respect each other and bond over their love for noriaki if nothing else. kinda like a teammate/coworker relationship than an outright friendship/familial bond. but yeah

Another thing I’ve realized/thought of

Koraidon and Miraidon yknow them. Big goofy lizard dogs of unimaginable power taht if you weren’t native to Paldea you’d think they were the region’s Legendary Pokemon. But they ain’t and I just have this delightful thought of other legendary Pokémon just encountering them (Save a few I’ll explain in a minute) and just…reacting to them like how a human reacts to scp 053 minus the need to kill them. Like say The Paradoxal Duo wind up in Kalos and meet Xerneas and Yveltal and their reaction is “wtf wtf wtf wtf” cause at least Xerneas, being the representation of Life which most likely includes knowledge on Various species, knows that these things are at least Pokemon but they ain’t any Pokémon it’s encountered with the closest thing to them in its knowledge is Cyclizar But they Just aint. Meanwhile Yveltal is most likely thinking that Ho Oh might have made some new Divine Beasts or whatever they are called but like Xerneas they don’t feel like Suicune and the other 2.

And before you can include the other Paradox Pokémon having the same result keep in mind the Scarlet ones are more reminiscent to their Present counterparts and could easily be explained as either Mega Evolution or Regional Variants cause they still hold what makes them like their regular ones just with new Evolutionairy Augments.

And as for the Violet ones one could easily assume a foundation like Team Rocket, The Aether Foundation, or anything like that could have easily pulled their own Mewtwo Situation but with it being A Fulley robotic and B other Pokémon and Keep in mind some Pokémon are straight up just random things like Tea pots Keys and about 1000 dollars in coins so robots ain’t out of the question.

The source of them Obviously is a Disc/Prismatic Pokémon named Terapagos thanks to DLC. So I feel like the only other Pokémon who can think they are normal are other Disc/Prism Pokémon like Eternautus Necrozma and IMO Zygarde as the first 2 are like Terapagos as they are the source of their regions Ability and if fueled with enough power they can start to warp reality in a sense and the 3rd being the Pokémon of Balance in an ecological sense and figure “Oh they must be Legendary Cyclizar” and move on.

I just think it would be hilarious if every other legendary saw the Paldea Duo and was always unnerved at them meanwhile the past 3 gens 3rd legendary are like “Yo man” and just think they normal peeps.

Bonus: Entities Like Ultra beasts and mythical Pokémon are also in the 100% Unnerved boat despite being things Like Time Travelers and Creatures from other dimensions

following up from a-ya’s pokemon team, it’s time to talk about c-ta’s pokemon team!

me and @cha-momile​ and @into-demise​ worked on this together! Our basic premise was that he is a Normal Guy who is Sooooo Normal so all of his pokemon are normal type. He’s not trying to stand out too much, yknow? He doesn’t want to be “the very best”. He’s just trying to keep his balance.

Explanations under the cut!

Indeedee is so ridiculously apropos for him that I cannot believe it. The Pokedex entry for male Indeedee says “It uses the horns on its head to sense the emotions of others. Males will act as valets for those they serve, looking after their every need.” C-ta meets this little creature and does this:

Type: Null is complicated. Type: Null is there because C-ta has a fondness for ugly creatures, as seen with his well-known taste in cringe guys. The thing about Type: Null is that it has a helmet clamped onto its head that is meant to control it, and the helmet comes off when it evolves, but it only evolves through the power of friendship. I think that C-ta can’t manage to get it to evolve, because he doesn’t understand why his friendship with A-ya isn’t working out. So instead Type: Null is stuck like this, being controlled, unable to be free. I am begging you to listen to Re:Missed Call.

Bewear is simple -- it’s a big stuffed bear (stuffed like the doll C-ta gave to A-ya...) who hugs you so tightly that you might die!! It’s like... some sort of metaphor for how overbearing C-ta is toward A-ya. Weird...

Purugly again calls back to C-ta being like “the uglier you are the more insane I get from looking at you”.

Eevee is a fan-favourite Pokemon, but mostly because of its ability to evolve into whatever you want! C-ta’s decision not to let his Eevee evolve is like he’s wasting Eevee’s potential. It doesn’t matter what Eevee could become -- it matters that everything stays the same, because change might tear him apart. C-ta’s life could even be better than it is right now if he let things change (please read Miserable) but he doesn’t want to risk it, because he likes how things are now. It’s tolerable, now.

And as for Dunsparce, it’s just a friendly little worm! It’s scared and it’s pretty feeble (it notably can only flutter “a little bit” off the ground). But he loves it because A-ya gave it to him!

The last thing to say about C-ta’s team is that it contrasts with A-ya’s team very well. A-ya being a Ghost type trainer and C-ta being a Normal type trainer means that they can’t actually interact. Their advances do nothing to one another. They are ships in the night and it sucks to watch.
