I'm 90% percent sure that JRo wrote the scene in Dark Cybertron where Optimus defeats Nova and reclaims his name because it has all the traits of how JRo writes Optimus. And I want it to be true because it so so funny that Roberts wrote this unambiguously heroic scene of Optimus taking back the Prime title and then Barber spent the rest of his time in that continuity detailing that that was a bad thing actually.

Arcee is better and more sensible than everyone else in IDW1 and is very important that she shows change is possible, but I still need her to randomly have emotional crisis post-canon because her brain is kinda freaking out at her just being happy and at peace and because she doesn't know how to deal with mundane negative emotions like jealousy and she's just having a whole lot of new experiences while also being someone who struggles to recognize her own emotions
