So the lore goes as is; he was made by a scientist trying to achieve regenerative abilities with humans, mostly by using unorthodox & probably inhumane methods, but we don’t talk about that.

The results of his experiments was Pestigator, Beta because he wasn’t the fully polished rendition- but the scientist was mysteriously killed before the Alpha version.

They now reside in the dark, killing off any evil or cruelty there is. Most of the crime scenes usually end up splattered with blood and gore, a little gruesome- but Pestigator’s trying his best to be the good guy here, it’s not like he chose to be spiky and an absolute edgelord.
