my opinion on the current porn ban is that it benefits the state to have its people filled with shame. they want you to be ashamed of yourself and they want you to hurt others who aren't ashamed of themselves. these changes will not benefit the marginalized

Looking back at this and realising that giving Carnis a meat tail kinda missed the point of what I was trying to go for with their design,, it was meant to look like the upper humanoid half had pulled itself out of the lower more animal-esque but intact half and taken place in its body as the new host

On some concept designs for Carnis I had it so that their lower half had visible tears in the skin to show the flesh underneath, and I think I want to bring that back too since it gives the vibe that Carnis is, again, the new host of a body that's not theirs

OC from a story I'm working on and probably one of my favourite characters I've created for it so far!! I've had this design swirling in my head for months now and messed around with several concepts before landing on this!! I originally intended on Carnis' exposed flesh being reminiscent of anatomically accurate muscle structures but thought it looked too 'clean' so I ended up going with the mess of flesh, fat and veins :3
