I'm getting to a comfortable point where I might start showing some things that aren't quite fandom related. I have a lot of original stories that I get excited at the idea of sharing. Examples being:

Gay swan lake

A goth girl gets trapped in a high school where all the students have to act your stereotype or die

A Marine Biologist, a mariner, and a royal merman get stuck together. What could go wrong

Moths, Butterflies, Bees and many other insect type faerie kind are trying to kill each other at war :D

Girl is prophesized to save the world from ending by fighting a Big Bad- but before that, she wants to be a kid and go to school.

I circus of lost souls trancending time

Cyberpunk story about a god AI getting stuck in someone with cybernetic enhancements tell them they have to find the utopian city before the governement does because its a big ol weapon :D

I am a supernova of stories and I can't wait to finish them to share them with the world.

I don't think I really have any really solid headcanons and also canon keeps validating me left and right (FLUFFY DOMESTIC DIAFAM IS REAL). mostly just kind of...impressions and general thoughts, if that makes sense! lately though I've been kind of obsessed with thinking about Lilia's hair, and specifically when/why he ended up cutting it. (l-look, we're bouncing around the timeline and I gotta make decisions about these things when I draw, it's relevant) (I mean I would probably be weirdly fixated on this anyway, but.)

I think I've settled on the idea that he kept it long until he went to NRC, partly because 1) I like drawing The Ponytail, and 2) I think he thought of NRC as a chance to reinvent himself a bit! he gets to go and be a wacky carefree teenager for a few years and have fun! (officially he's there to keep an eye on Son #1, but how much trouble could he get into, really.) so he gave himself a Cool Teen Haircut to go with his fresh new Cool Teen Persona!

also maybe he had some reflection on his hair's troubled past with three kids...

...and had to weigh his vanity versus the fact that he was going off to be around hundreds of kids on a daily basis, and. the choice suddenly seemed obvious.

There’s nothing like the feeling of being reduced to my partner’s dumb little puppy, my brain turned to mush from how much I love it. When I’m in that headspace, I can’t do much of anything complex on my own. I’m too blissfully out of it, drooling with the overwhelming comfort of being his. He’s so dominating, every ounce of power resting in his hands, and I’m just there, completely at his mercy.

Just picture it: The way he could manhandle me, guiding me along like I’m too stupid to figure things out without him, only deepens that delicious fog. He’ll use that gentle, patronizing voice to explain how to do the simplest things, and I’m so dumb, so gone for him, that I hang onto every word with wide, eager eyes. Every command, every move he directs me to make—it’s like I’m a mindless little pet, happy to obey, basking in the warm glow of his control.

It’s more than just being carefree; it’s being completely dependent on him, reveling in the helplessness. My mind is too empty for anything but following him, being his, loving every second of being dominated and dumb under his touch. Absolutely brainless, absolutely his, with no room for embarrassment—just pure, devoted obedience.

Well I want to be honest, my mental health hasn’t been the best the past few months. I’ve been really struggling to the point of crying about several different things and it’s not anyone’s fault. Maybe my situation irl is affecting how I feel online, and it sucks because everyone is so nice and kind but I feel like I don’t belong? Idk how to explain it. It’s a very awful feeling and I’m recovering from several traumatic things I thought I’d gotten over but they keep resurfacing, I think I need to organize my feelings and stop overthinking, but I wanted to explain myself too. Glisten was a DHMIS OC before Dandy's World was a thing, right?

HC'ing that Glisten's 'teacher' role would've been something along the lines of friendship / fitting in for the gang? Something similar to a mix of the Love episode from the webseries and Jobs and Family from the TV show (Having a community of people who care about you + fitting into an environment or mold or dynamic) - a whole bunch of Yada Yada about 'this stuff makes you likeable and this stuff doesn't!!!' and 'look at all of MY friends, aren't I popular, isn't it fun being liked by people?? Don't you want to fit in with us??'

I'm uh. NOT REALLY GOOD WITH GORE PLACEMENT SO IDK WHERE IT WOULD FIT INTO THE EPISODE IF IT WOULD EXIST?? There's almost always some gore element to the episodes- But yeah basically he is the epitome of toxic friendships / being toxic to yourself by forcing yourself into a little perfect box so that others like you. And then a lot of his Oh Shoot™️ moment that most Teachers seem to have would be breaking down from that 'perfect little box' in front of the main cast.

Anywayyyys. Red Guy is unintentionally the most popular of the bunch, Duck is constantly peeved that people aren't 'respecting' him by being his friend and is trying to steal Red's thunder, and Yellow is just. Barely even trying to fit in the whole time, he mainly wants to do his own thing.

And then that probably gets him sucked into seeing Glisten's REALLY BAD Oh Shoot™️ mental break moment from questioning why and how Yellow is still perfectly happy doing his own thing and just liking his own little group of the ✨️Three Of Us✨️ instead of a huge group of 'friends,' and then questioning why he himself is even doing all of that acting for a group of people in the first place (maybe in the episode his group of 'friends' are the ones who get attached to Red and ditch him? As a show and tell for how these types of people are just. Awful. And they latch onto Red because he's the latest thing that's caught their eyes and Glisten is old news. Just a dusty mirror. And for the rest of the episode after this happens, he's trying to get himself back to being the star of the show and potentially attempting to recruit Yellow to help him do it).

Anyways there's some brainrot for all of us fine Dandy's World / Don't Hug Me I'm Scared fans on this fine Thursday the 12th, because I have been thinking about this non-stop since I found out about this fact.

words cannot express how much I adore that Mal's reaction to seeing a human baby for the first time was "the fuck is this. why does it look like that. gross." (then he immediately got stuck on babysitting duty and the rest is history)

I am SUCH a sucker for that trope of "non-humans being fascinated by normal human behavior", so between that and all the delicious angst going on I was eating VERY well. >:) Malleus being so impressed that two-year-old Silver can walk, because it took him twenty years to stand on two legs! Lilia barging in on the Zigvolts at 2 AM being like "he won't stop crying what do I do"! Lilia trying to feed Silver rats and Malleus being like "...please just stick with what the books say to feed it"! it is all so. chef's kiss.

Reverse 1999: Timeline Considerations

I don't have a theory about the Timeline, but I thought I'd put together a few things I noticed in case it helps others who are way better at this stuff.

The events so far happened in chronological order (except Rimmet cup which happened before main story). We can assume this because Vertin recaps adventures from previous events to people in the "current" timeline which we are experiencing through her eyes . She did this with Jessica and more recently with Ulu.

The Hedonism thing is actually Matilda's adventure in Journey to Mor Pankh but she must have told Vertin and the others about it. According to the Atlas They went to the Aperion in 1914, but the true time on the Island is 2007. However, the Uluru Games event happens in 1991. We can see this in the publication date of the Australian Nagger, which is January 7, 1991.

If 2007 is supposed to be the true time, but everywhere else has different times, I think this adds to others' theories about the radius and frequency of the Storm. Ignoring the Stadium because it's immune to the Storm, Australia either didn't experience as many Storms, or the Storms were not as Severe since it's currently 1991 where Britain is back in 1914.

I wonder what the borders of these areas look like. Like the very edge of the Storms afflicted area.
