#touya can't take you to the hospital because you took the pill willingly and he doesn't want you to get in trouble #and he feels so guilty because HE'S the one who brought you to the stupid party anyway #your apartment is too far away and your roommates already think touya's bad news so he doesn't want to give them another reason to hate him #so he drags you back to his house to try and help you ride out the high #and you're kneeling on the floor just inside the door to the todoroki home half-dressed because you keep trying to peel off your clothes #with touya pleading with you in a frantic whisper to just stand up and make the short walk to his bedroom without waking up his siblings #and a bleary eyed natsuo (still up and studying for a test he has the next day) finds you and his brother in the doorway #and natsuo doesn't understand why you're clinging to touya and behaving so strangely #but he does know that you sound pretty when you whimper like that #and that the way that the dim light in the corridor catches in the sheen of sweat on your exposed throat makes his chest feel tight #tw drug use

#morrowind #almalexia #the elder scrolls #tes #tes fanart #art #id in alt #ok that's all the tags this needs ANYWAY #i started this 1. for experimenting with coloring from dark to light #2. because i wanted to draw someone kind of back turned to the camera #3. rendering practice for hair particularly #4. to go from sketch to rendering rather than doing lines to see if that doesn't smooth out my workflow a bit #5. because i've never actually used this brush past flat coloring #and out of those 1. i don't think i had enough of an idea of the palette or process to jump into dark to light painting so i did scrap that #and go with my usual “flat color with one of the mid shadow tones add shadows add light”#i do think that painting from shadows out is a thing people do digitally i just think this wasn't the drawing to test it on for me #i think i'd need to look at some other peoples processes and start with a more fleshed out idea of where to go #2 and 3 i think worked out. i'm gradually figuring hair out which i think is sick #4 i also think worked out for me which is also sick because i do get caught on lines a lot. they're fun sometimes but i think some drawings #benefit better from not having them and that it might be a bit faster #and of course everything i do is so that i can draw slightly faster and better for next artfight #as for 5. i have mixed feelings on this brush but that might be because i hate change. and also because i started this drawing on the 15th #of november and finished it yesterday. so im kind of just sick of working on and looking at it #it was a valuable learning experience and i think it came out well! i am also going to drop to my knees and rejoice when i can finally #close this file out and free medibang paint from under it so i can work on Literally Anything Else #thank you almalexia for being my test subject i should've used a reference for your armor when i did the sketch but i didn't #maybe the crown looks weird because of it maybe it doesn't. not my problem anymore i can draw other elves again #my art #iiii think i forgot a my art tag last time

#to test my abilities... no jk #I mean kind of lol #I WANTED To test my abilities but then I couldnt think of anything #so then I just redid an older piece #I remembered the old one started black and white and then I did effects over it so I did that again #cause I just wanted to play around with lighting #and I think its pretty obvious how much I've improved #I also only spent like an hour on the second one #wasnt trying to make anything amazing here #just trying t make something that reminds myself how growth can look and feel #important stuff to do as an artist #I'm still sick btw lol #I love how when youre losing your voice everyone goes 'wow you sound terrible'#I get why. Fellow progressives: do not spread images with the red triangle

Possibly stepping on a minefield but what the fuck. Someone I follow just reblogged someone celebrating the Hamas red triangle and the post is full of notes saying people calling the red triangle antisemitic are just against Palestine and are colonialists.

This has also happened before with a mutual so it seems like something non-Jewish people just might not know: the red triangle---unlike symbols such as the Palestinian flag and the watermelon---is explicitly pro-Hamas. Not pro-Palestine, pro-Hamas. Hamas is the organization that singled out civilians rather than actual military targets in order to kill the largest number of innocent Jews possible. They committed mass atrocities ending in the largest slaughter of Jewish civilians in one day since the Holocaust.

You cannot be pro-Hamas without being antisemitic. You cannot spread Hamas symbols without having done an antisemitic action. So, don't spread the red triangle. It isn't pro-Palestine. It just makes your Jewish mutuals upset and uncomfortable around you.
