Badger Symbolism
So I know it's generally agreed upon that Vlad's nickname of 'little badger' comes from either Danny's color scheme (black and white) or the mascon for the University of Wisconsin (Wisconsin is also known as the badger state). But I'm also really into symbolism so...
I think the comparison really fits Danny. I don't know if the writers knew about this or not but I think the comparison really demonstrates Danny's determination against the odds.

After a brief detour by ZDR, I've finally launched myself into Tears of the Kingdom. Having made it to Rito Village and the Lucky Clover Gazette, here is a fun tidbit that I wanted to share with you. You see, in the French version, Traysi is known as "Bourgette". Now, the thing is, exploring Hyrule in Breath of the Wild would also lead you to meet two other girls named "Florette" (a tourist in Zora Domain who mentions being a merchant) and "Fruguette" (investigating the skeletal horses near the Snowfield Stable)*. From there, we can see there seems to be a pattern : Bourgette (bourgeon/bud), Florette (fleur/flower), and Fruguette (fruit). With that in mind, I always thought that the intention was for the three of them to be seen as sisters. Sadly, aside from "Fruguette" commenting something along the lines of "as the eldest, I have to set an example", the game never brought any attention to this potential connection. But look who I meet when arriving at the Lucky Clover Gazette's premises : Traysi and "Fruguette", implying that the intrepid reporter is now working with her sisters. I don't know if the game will elaborate on the topic as I progress through the Gazette's questline, but still, I wanted to share the thought with you... :p
* Sorry, I don't know what their English names are...

Come to think of it, Tony probably only ever uses fireworks that make little to no sound because fireworks that do make noise probably kinda resemble gunshots for him, which is something his PTSD from the attack in Afghanistan would not appreciate
Ngl I love the fireworks that make that little sizzle sound 😍🤏
But you do make a fair point! Though I’m also sure that any viewing of fireworks is at a distance anyway, and I assume it’s also an expected sound so maybe it wouldn’t be as bad? At least, that’s how my uncle was, but I know not everyone’s experiences are the same!

Judging from the Daily Dracula tag a lot of people don’t know how copies were made with a typewriter - which is totally fair but is something I know so it’s grating at me.
Carbon copy paper existed and was used to make copies. The letters from a typewriter hit the paper hard enough to transfer the letters to another paper beneath and it was common to do two layers so you’d make three copies in one go. Mina, being a modern and clever woman with professional level typing skills, was most likely implementing this to make three copies at once while typing all of the information. One copy with ink letters directly from the typewriter and two copies made with carbon paper.
Fun aside the CC on emails comes from ‘carbon copy’ which stems from this practice of making immediate copies of handwritten or typed documents and giving someone a copy.

prior to her father’s death, i wonder if katniss ever had a best friend at school or a crush on anyone. i mean, no, she never ever says it in canon but the way she’s closed down about her childhood and only provides the most small details like randomly telling us about playing house or making necklaces while singing a pretty creepy song, i doubt she’d tell us if she ever had a friend or crush prior to being parentified. unless they were in district 13 or something, then she’d out of the blue drop in “i see cole, the boy from 12 who sat by me when we were in second grade, in the dining hall. he was my very first crush. i’m pretty sure i gave him a squirrel once.”

anyway still thinking abt uksies i was watchin it last night alright
thinking abt especially how the boot(s??) are from dec/jan, and how the run went through july. like that boot is not the same show i saw in april especially when it comes to santa fe and watch what happens
like they got extended to eight and a half ish months. that is 2 weeks away from broadway-length contract. the difference between the boot and michael’s whatsonstage santa fe mashup is literally unbelievable bc he had alllll that time to figure out Exactly how he wanted to portray it (and all that practice singing it!!)
and the scenes like. wwh reprise… same core but different energy. especially post javid thursday
tldr bootlegs are only a small fraction of a production. basically. u can interpret all u want but it could’ve been miles different only the night after it was recorded yk

suggestion do you have... any wants? like obviously you do but like? suggestion my guy my ourple boy. both the easiest and hardest to write. you need a skill to say something to move conversation along but it doesn't fit any skill in particular? about 80% of the time you can have suggestion say it and it will make sense. but like actually characterizing him... how do i define you dude... what makes your character tick... urgh. i dont get you yet. im trying to understand but you are difficult.

Troll Eddsworld AU art dump!!
Recently got back into writing my Troll Eddsworld AU, it's been a year and 5 months and the brainrot has yet to leave me. Someone asked if I had designs for the boys, so here they are. I made some concept doodles on paint back when I first started (half of them contain spoilers so I had to cut them oops)
^Mat & his lusus (they swimming!!)
Here are some better drawings lmao (I swear I can draw)
also the ellsworld girls, I could not help myself
this is the fic i'm writing btw, in case these sillies caught your curiosity. It's mostly pesterlogs, but that's basically 70% of homestuck too

See, I really want to ask about Aiden's morality, but I'm scared of the answer 🙈
Will all his friends and Henry outlive him?
Is he more vulnerable than the others?
Am I making the same mistake Ákos did, and will I pay for my curiosity?
(Also, I hope I am not overwhelming you with how much I speak. Please, never feel pressured to answer!)
Are you sure you are ready to hear the answer to that? 🙈
Truth is, I don’t really have an “end” set for Aiden, I don’t know how he will die.
But be it of old age, sickness or a hero’s death, the bad news is that yes, Aiden’s friends and Henry will outlive him either way.
After all, they are very long-lived. And though Aiden is half fae, that doesn’t mean he inherited their longevity. He is still mortal.
The good news however is that due to his power and him spending much time in the faerie realm, his lifespan is a little more stretched than that of a normal person, so he might get to live a few years longer (given he dies of old age).
Yet for a fae, the life of a mortal feels way too short, especially if you care about that person. Aiden isn’t scared of dying, but he feels bad for the people he will leave behind.
I think you might really feel like Ákos after I told you this. Sorry for that!
(Also I’m not overwhelmed in the slightest! I don’t think you talk too much, either, I’m glad to have you around ^^)
