RUSSIA: You throw him hastily after he stabs your hand. CANADA: Totally nonplussed about the whole thing. Super casual, even.

AMERICA: His explosion comes with cheap VFX and a Wilhelm scream. NORTH ITALY: He emerges from the explosion completely fine.

There's something so interesting about the way Arsène Lupin likes to act all upper-class, likes blending into the upper folds of the social hierarchy by giving himself titles of nobility. But he grew up poor! His mother was disowned for marrying below her class! He was denied his first marriage because he had no career nor status! He burglarizes the rich! But despite the contempt he holds against the noble family that disowned and abused his mother, he still desperately wants to be a part of the nobility, to have that status that he and his mother were kicked out of.

He uses the noble name from his mother's side when he's living and dressing himself up in higher society, and held his common name from his father in contempt. He compares himself to royalty! He tries to take over Europe once!

Yet despite that. Joséphine, Countess of Cagliostro, the Lupin before Lupin, tells him: You're not Raoul D'Andrésy. You're Arsène Lupin, son of a common man and a crook. I know what you are, a thief.

ogfoofodoxx thinking about how the most defining character trait of haymitch is how protective he is. not in the sense it's the most obvious, but how all of his actions are fueled by this desire to protect. how hard he works at keeping katniss alive in the first games, him fighting to keep them from augmenting katniss's body, him yelling at plutarch to keep finnick from having to share his trauma, him being so involved in peeta's recovery and being the one to bring katniss home. him holding mayslee's hand as she died, fighting for plutarch to stay and rescue peeta, being the one to find katniss and finnick when johanna had an episode, begging coin to believe peeta's warning. it being heavily implied or either outright stated that he was one of the people who fought to protect effie.

makes me physically ill because no one does that for him. everyone who would of, died.

thank u! i mostly use ibis paint x and sometimes clip studio paint too! :D

i don't think i'm much of a pro to be out there telling on beginners but, if you're looking to improve in certain aspects, i'd recommend studying art fundamentals. i like searching for tips on youtube and i personally love watching pikat's videos; they give pretty solid, good advices for studying art :)

overall, i think the most important part about drawing is having fun, as cliche as this sounds, it's true. stressing over your art might actually bring down the quality of it, so don't worry so much about making masterpieces! do what you like! ^_^
