*grins* AtB reveal AU where the Crystal makes a grandiose magical announcement whenever a Lucis Caelum is born. (Mors is seriously considering making Regis retake sex ed as the announcement comes again - and again - and again - in a matter of months. Regis is just wishing that the Crystal mentioned things like names or locations, not ‘Hail the birth of the son/daughter of the Stone! Hail!’)

Apparently Regis has eight children he that he lost track of.

“If this happens one more time,” Mors says with an expression on his face that would lead to Regis getting sent to his room when he was younger, “I’ll make sure you never step foot out of Insomnia again.”

Katrina sees the headlines announcing the birth of one of Regis’ children.

Then she sees those headlines again and again and as she carries Ace around her and Carly’s home as he babbles she wonders if she should head to Insomnia and tell Regis.

Ace makes a low whining noise in the back of his throat when he realizes his mother isn’t paying attention to him and Katrina laughs and showers him in kisses until he bursts into giggles again.

There are too many variables, Katrina decides, she’ll wait before introducing Ace to his family.

Ardor is found first, they find a scrawny child scavenging for food in the streets of Lestallum. They only catch him because he runs into another boy - slightly older - who sees Ardor throwing fireballs at the Crownsguard and joins in.

Cor stares at the report. He then stares at the red eyed child in front of him who is accompanied by a woman who looks like she would be more at home in a lab than in Cor’s office. She has a tight grip on her child and hovers close enough to Ardor to grab him and run if anything happens.

Her bright eyes stare at Cor and show no fear. She seems perfectly willing to fight Cor if the situation calls for it.

Cor wonders why he - at 19 years old - was put in charge of this.

Jules is found next. She had thrown a grown man into a wall with magic when said man attempted to harm her mother. Cor and Regis watch as Ardor takes one look at her and her mother and promptly decides that he’ll die for her.

Thanatos must be of the same opinion as he begins to bring her books.

Bard isn’t found so much as brought to Insomnia by her mother after Bard had decided to test out fire breathing.

“I figured,” her mother says in a voice that has seduced Regis in the past, “That if anyone can help her it’s the one who she inherited the magic from.”

Regis thinks of the part of the Citadel dedicated to his children and their mothers and thinks he must have to expand it.

Mercury shows up with an Imperial noblewoman who is currently seeking sanctuary.

“May I ask why the Empire has an arrest warrant out for you?”

“Well,” the blonde noblewoman says with a slight grin, “They can’t put one out for a child can they?”

In that moment Mercury must decide that she’s had enough of not being near her mother because she phases through the door to the interrogation room and demands her mother make her popsicles.

“Oh,” the noblewoman says and her grin widens, “There’s that too.”

Persephone and her mother walk into the Citadel as if they own it.

Persephone has her father sit down for tea and Regis has never been intimidated by a ten year old until now.

“If you hurt my mother,” Persephone says in a tone that is too mature for her age, “The Astrals themselves won’t be able to hide you from me.”

“Does your mother know you are threatening me?”

“She tried to discourage it.”

Regis feels a bit faint and wonders if Noctis will grow up to be like the rest of his siblings.

“I see.”

Jupiter and Ace arrive together having barely reached adulthood. They don’t exactly want to ask Regis to stop being a fucking tool and to ease restrictions on Galahdians seeking refuge but-

Well, listen, sometimes you have to do something uncomfortable to make change. They even made an appointment, they have proof of the appointment.

If only this fucking gate guard would believe them when they say they have an appointment.

Jupiter, because she has never bothered to pay attention to the lessons their uncle taught them in politics and diplomacy, decides that force is the right choice.

“If you don’t let us through,” Jupiter says, “I’m going to freeze you in place, and then I’m going to let my brother decide whether or not to electrocute you.”

“Please don’t tempt me,” Ace mutters under his breath.

“Threats? As if I can’t have you arrested for threatening a standing member of the military see if the Astrals will take pity on you-“

“Oh,” Jupiter says as she eyes the rapidly darkening skies, “I think they might.”

The formerly sunny day turns dark, thunderheads gathering directly above the Citadel. Jupiter watches as the guard does a double take when he realizes Ace’s eyes are glowing a bright gold-

“Shit,” the guard curses and scrambles away from them. The siblings watch amusedly as he frantically reaches for his com.

Rapid footsteps reach their ears and both Ace and Jupiter turn toward the sound. Princess Persephone looks like she just came from a sparring practice dressed in sweatpants and a tank top with her hands wrapped.

“I would prefer it, dear brother, if you didn’t summon Ramuh to wreak havoc on the city this fine morning.” Persephone speaks as if she knows them and Ace and Jupiter exchange a look.

The gold fades from Ace’s eyes and the weather clears.

“I wasn’t going to summon him,” Ace protests, “I was persuading the guard here to let us in for our appointment.”

Persephone raises a brow.

Ace meets her stare head on.

Jupiter cackles.

“He doesn’t have enough energy to summon Ramuh anyway,” Jupiter says, “Not after, well, you know.”

Persephone takes stock of her siblings appearances. They both look like they’ve been on the move for weeks without rest and the beads in their hair are all too telling about where they are from.

“We heard, I would extend my condolences but I expect they mean nothing.” Persephone turns toward the guard. Her eyes are ice as she looks at him. “I will be taking my siblings in to meet with our father. We will deal with you later.”

Sun ☉

Giorno, DIO, Diego Brando, Jonathan

All of them are natural leaders who hate being bossed around. All of them crave power (except, maybe, Jonathan), though for different reasons. Having lots of pride, Diego and Dio take their hatred of humiliation to extreme levels, desiring to rule the whole world in order to be treated like gods, and finally erase their underprivileged pasts. They are also very narcissistic and put themselves above everyone else except their moms.

Jonathan and Giorno represent the holy side of the sun. Giorno shares with his father the same pride and deep hatred of humiliation, though he wants to be the king of his own world so no else will be humiliated like he was. Like the sun that share its light to all beings, Giorno and Jonathan love justice and treat everyone equally, punishing people only according to their wrongdoings and never for sadistic purposes. Both have warm and dignified manners. Jonathan is also the patriarch of the Joestars, a very solar status, given that Sun represents both fathers and authorities.

Giorno is canonically an Aries, so he has an exalted sun.

Moon ☾

Enrico Pucci, Guido Mista

Father Pucci is intelligent, passionate, devoted, attached to his kin, has a nurturing side and treats Dio's children as his own. The moon is a mirror of the sun, and Pucci is the follower of a solar figure, Dio. Also, he has a stand called C-Moon, which evolves from a baby raised by himself. No villain is more lunar than Pucci.

Mista is the faithful peer of another solar figure, Giorno. He also has a very childish stand and never forgets to feed salami to all six of them.

Mercury ☿

Josuke

Josuke is very light-hearted, youthful and witty, and can keep his cool even in the hardest moments. I don't even know his sign, but that's a pretty Gemini thing. Apart from his Peter Pan like personality, he also has a quick mind and great analytical skills.

Mars ♂

Jotaro, Jolyne, Iggy

All three of them give zero fucks to your feelings and are aggressive, athletic and action-driven. Jotaro is also a man of science and as a marine biologist, he's probably very good at math*, which is a lesser known trait of Mars.

Venus ♀

Mariah, Straizo, Shigechi, Yukako

I don't even need to explain Mariah. Straizo is very attached to his physical body and has a total aversion to the idea of becoming old, weak and ugly, which resembles the materialistic and vain side of Venus. His personality is very rajasic but at the same time cool, composed and noble, just like the vedic god of Venus, Shukra.

Shigechi is obsessed with money and Yukako is jealous and love-obsessed. Both can be taken as archetypes of the dark side of Taurus.

Jupiter ♃

Joseph Joestar

No matter how hard you try, you will never be as Sagittarian as Joseph Joestar. Joseph represents Jupiter's intense love of life and quest for thrilling experiences. Jupiter is also a planet of elevated intellect, and even though Joseph is a school dropout, his enthusiasm for literature and history can be seen through his many bookish references, from Sun Tzu to Jules Verne. Furthering your knowledge just for the sake of it and not because someone told you to is a very Jupiterian thing.

Not to mention Joseph's devilish good luck, which just can't not be Jupiter's work.

Saturn ♄

Johnny Joestar

The ultimate saturnine man, who attains wisdom through intense pain and suffering. Johnny is persistent, hardworking and resilient, still he doesn't believe himself, thanks to his cruel father and the death of his elder brother, of which Johnny feels guilty. Shame, guilt, death, a weak body, oppression, a harsh father and the weight of past experiences: all Saturnian themes permeating Johnny's life and making his sensitive soul thougher, until suffering becomes power, resulting in the liberation of mind and body. In short, Johnny's saga can be literally taken as a lesson on how Saturn works. In vedic tradition, Saturn is represented as a handicapped man (in analogy to the planet's slow moves) and is associated with the color blue; that's very easy to relate with Johnny's own physical condition and color aesthetic. Gyro describes Johnny as having "the eyes of a killer", and the vedic god Saturn is known for having a look so fierce no one dares to look at his eyes. Johnny Joestar is the incarnation of Saturn! This is going to be my headcanon from now on.

Rahu ☊

A master of deceitfulness with a one-track mind, he collects allies for purposes they can't even imagine, and that can change the fate of the entire world. It doesn't get more Rahu-ish than this.

Ketu ☋

Diavolo

Ketu is the shadow planet of ghosts, mysteries and everything otherworldly, which fits Diavolo perfectly: given the supernatural circumstances of his birth, we're not even sure he's a human being. Ketu is the planet of detachment, losses and disappearances, acting like a cosmic eraser; Diavolo's power is literally to erase time.

Speaking of losses and detachment, Diavolo has given up on his own identity, living as an anonymous hermit. Like Ketu, he's invisible and can be perceived only through his influence.

He was also raised in a church, which resembles Ketu's connection to the spiritual realms.

Finally, Ketu is the demon who lost its own head. That could be an accurate description of Diavolo.

*Yes, marine biology has lots of mathematics. This single piece of information ruined all my childhood dreams.

Reason you want to play this character: Because my gothic heart says so. Also because of the Canon characters Nico is the only one I'm comfortable enough to play, I think he's great and has so much potential. I really want to play him more adult in contrast to his ~teens in the books.

Are there any changes you wish to make? Please explain and provide alternatives: Can I change the FC to Matt Daddario? He’s always wearing black, he looks angry or broody 98% of the time, he has fighting gifs, he wields swords and his SH character is gay so there’s that (he’s also very tall and awkward and I find it hilarious). I don’t mind Devon tbh I just thought it’d be cool to vary a little. But other options maybe Ezra Miller or Landon Liboiron? Also he’s Pluto’s Ambassador and in the books he was part of the Senate so maybe he is still one? Idk if he should be a Nominal/Honorary Senator due to his inconsistent presence or the Camp’s senator? Idk idk.

Biography:

Born in Venice, Italy in a torn world in-between world wars, Nico di Angelo’s first childhood was happy and simple though his mysterious father was a rare presence, the boy couldn’t ask for much more. He had his mother and sister, they lived a simple life in a simple place in what seemed simpler times. But if asked nowadays, Nico would only ever remember something else – that it was only him and Bianca against the world, stuck in a whirling colourful place that was the Lotus Hotel and Casino. Nico never got to live the over seventy years that went around him, the Second World War, Vietnam and everything else. In his father’s eschewed ways of caring and also trying to manipulate the prophecy, Nico and Bianca remained at the Casino for decades, forgotten by the world. Rescued by the Fury Alecto (though unknown), Nico and Bianca were told by the phony lawyer that their parents were deceased and then sent to a boarding school. He had no memories of his previous life after a bath in the Lethe, not even of his mother’s untimely demise by the hands of Zeus, if only to protect him and his sister or to protect Hades himself.

His “regular life” after the Casino was short-lived, the military boarding school wasn’t home but it had routine and he still had Bianca. By then Nico was still a naïve, wide-eyed boy, obsessed with pirates and mythology, card games and everything he could put his hyperactive hands on. And then his whole world was thrown away by the presence of the Gods, his father and his ultimate end, Percy Jackson. The first moment everything was too much – he was a demigod, yay! And there were monsters, alright, not so cool. And then his sister abandoned him to join the Huntresses. Though resentful and angry, Nico loved Bianca, she had been his entire world as long as he could remember, his only friend and his partner in crime and then she never came back from the quest. The only thing that did were the news, brought to him by Percy Jackson.

Resentment, self-loathing and anger would plague Nico for the following years and through the probations he ended up facing – Daedalus labyrinth, trying to bring back his sister and being shut down by her, the Sword of Hades, the Titan army, the Battle of Manhattan, Jules-Albert, finding Hazel, Camp Jupiter and New Rome, Percy without memories, Gaea’s resurgence and then being imprisoned in Tartarus. Brought to the brink of insanity and maybe pushed a bit further than just the brink. Trying to save the world once again for a long while paled in comparison to being outed by Cupid, something Nico still hasn’t quite gotten over even after so long. Then the final battle and Leo’s estrange death. Unable to have a remotely regular child and teen years, Nico’s life mostly revolved fighting monsters and hanging out with the undead – and that didn’t change much even after putting Gaea to pieces.

Dividing his time between Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood, Nico’s decided to make up for the lost years in terms of studying. Once involved with Roman politics Nico missed having formal knowledge and whilst it was dangerous for him to not be around any of the Camps, he wanted to be in the mortal world, where he was mostly invisible and no one really cared about his pedigree. After a year of intense tutoring with some scholar ghosts in the Underworld, studying frantically, he managed to enrol himself in a New York High School with fake documents (kindly provided to him by some of Hermes kids). While it wasn’t all really smooth all the time, Nico managed to graduate from High School mostly in secret as hard as it was and then moved to New Rome for Law School. He isn’t quite mentally capable of keeping a full-time school course and only takes a few classes a week, and sure, he��s failed a bunch of subjects so far but he still tries.

ciphers names of godCiphers and Cryptography: A Very Brief Foundation

The use of ciphers and subtle allusions in mysticism, philosophy, literature and religion, though generally ignored or unknown in modernity (by and large), are indeed well-established practices (such as the three literary practices in Qabalah, all of which involve some form of cryptography: transpositioning; substitution; skip-codes; re-arrangements of text into columns, as with the 72 Names of God; interpretation as number; etc).

“Ciphers are hidden in the most subtle manner: they may be concealed in the watermark of the paper upon which a book is printed…bound into the covers of ancient books…hidden under imperfect pagination; they may be extracted from the first letters of words or the first words of sentences; they may be artfully concealed in mathematical equations or in apparently unintelligible characters…they may be word ciphers, letter ciphers…they may be discovered in the elaborately illuminated initial letters of early books or they may be revealed by a process of counting words or letters.” – Manly Palmer Hall, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, p. 491.

Repetitions

Some of the more observant readers may have noticed in various books, films, TV shows and the like, a profound repetition of three distinct numbers: 37, 73 and 137. I offer the following examples:

Literature and Poetry: 1308-1870

Dante Alighieri’s Inferno (c. 1308-1321 AD): The 7th realm contains 3 spheres (this could be an allusion to the harmonic ratio 7:3) Jules Verne’s Twenty-Thousand Leagues Under The Sea (1870): 37 and 73 are referenced no less than 7 times throughout (as is the Golden Section, no less than four times). For example: “Now, had it not been for the exceptional strength of the Moravian’s hull, she would have been shattered by the shock of collision and have gone down with all hands, plus the two hundred and thirty-seven passengers she was bringing home to Canada.” p. 16(It may be worth noting that the name Moravian could be read as the French “Mort a vient,” a grammatically flawed phrase yielding roughly “Death has come.” Jules Verne was French.) “In a smooth sea, with a favorable breeze, on the 13th of April, 1867, the Scotia, of the Cunard Company‘s line, was in 15º 12’ longitude and 45º 37′ latitude.” pp. 16-17 “It came, therefore, to $337,500…” p. 83 “About eleven o’clock in the morning the Tropic of Capricorn was crossed on the 37th meridian, and we sighted Cape Frio standing out to sea.”These are only in one book! Surely these numbers could not have been chosen at random, Jules Verne was a very intelligent, meticulous author that dedicated great effort to his work. Verne was almost undoubtedly initiated – as revealed by his novels, the two most obvious being The Green Ray and Robur the Conqueror (R.C., Rosae-Crucis). The company he kept also establish this connection quite conclusively (refer for example to Hetzel). Aside from these, examine his tombstone closely and you will see a definitively occult sculpture, showing him emerging from the grave with arm extended (not unlike Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam) shrugging off the veil of the material in aspiration. All quotes here given were taken from the Readers Digest edition (in English). Film and Media: 1984-2012

Eddie Murphy’s Beverly Hills Cop III (1994): In the beginning it reads “Tuesday, 1:37 AM.” The Big Bang Theory: Sheldon asks, “What is the best number? -By the way, there’s only one correct answer…The best number is 73…it is the 21st prime number. It’s mirror 37 is the 12th…” Significantly, this appears in episode 73: The Alien Parasite Hypothesis (S.4 e.10). Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing: Tim’s boss says: “…on page 37 of Tzun Tzu’s The Art of War…” 21 Jump Street (2012): The police officer mistakenly says near the beginning: “37 Jump Street. 22 Jump Street (2014):During the football game a player on the sidelines is wearing jersey #37 (approx. 1hr in, center-background).There are countless other examples, but these few should serve to illustrate the on-going obsession. Though some of these are more subtle than others, all are intentional. What makes these numbers so special? What are all of these directors, producers, actors, writers and poets -spanning over 600 years- pointing to? Creation

Gematria: Wisdom in Number

Gematria is a Qabalistic practice that involves assigning particular numerical values to certain letters. It is one of the three literary Qabalistic practices, the other two being Notarikon and Temurah. It is most commonly seen in Hebrew or Greek, though there is substantial evidence both Arabic and Sanskrit have been similarly employed. In fact, the Vedic Katapayadi System proves without doubt that our current chronology for the discovery of pi is wrong (more later). Many attempt to apply similar cryptographic techniques – i.e. Qabalistic permutations – to languages of the Latin alphabet such as English, albeit with little success. There are two systems most commonly employed: The Ordinal, which is simply the placement value of each letter (1-22); and The Standard, in which the 11th letter becomes 20 and the 21st becomes 300 (1-400). Typically, in Hebrew, Greek and Arabic gematria the latter system is used, while in Mayalana and Sanskrit katapayadi the former is most commonly seen.

(An easy way to remember the Standard Gematria values is to simply add the two numbers and put a zero on the end. For instance, Mem is the 13th Hebrew letter and it has a standard value of 40 [1+3=4, add a zero=40]. If it is 10s, add one zero; if it is 20s, add two [Tau=22, 2+2=4, add 2 zeros=400]. For

those who may have difficulty, this ‘rule’ works invariably for Hebrew.)
