Equipped with powerful wide fenders, the ultimate form stands out!
Garage R 1-44-21 Matsushima, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo 132 03-5662-7000
Air recessed headlights
Dam-integrated front bumper,
and a huge rear spoiler. It looks like an ordinary aero spec, but that's Amemiya. It's hard to tell in the photo, but if you look closely, you'll see that the fenders protrude greatly to the left and right. While taking advantage of the normal body line, it has a subtle volume. At first glance, it looks like it has flashy aero specs, but it is actually Amemiya's full aero specs, with modifications even to the front and rear fenders.The interior has been given the same attention to detail as the exterior. The meter is Amemiya's full scale white meter, and the panel is also a carbon panel.
I'm surprised that it was replaced. Same as appearance
A truly one-off complete car.
The cockpit is reminiscent of
That's what I do.
The engine is basically normal,
Air cleaner + sports muffler intake and exhaust system tune. The suspension is also light-tuned with reinforced springs and dampers. Since it is not boosted up, the feeling of power is almost the same as the normal one, and the suspension does not give the impression of being too hard. The ride is mild, so if you expect outstanding performance from its appearance, you might be disappointed. However, since it is a FD with a good background, it is quite enjoyable to drive.
Still, considering the impressive exterior, it is quite attractive even if the driving appeal is small. This is a car that is recommended not only for people who want to stand out and want to be different in appearance, but also for those who want to customize their engine and suspension.
PIC CAPTIONS
●The suspension is a light tune with sports springs and shocks, and the ride quality is mild. There is no peaky behavior, and the suspension allows you to enjoy everything from city riding to mountain passes.
●The meter is a full-scale white meter, and the panel has been replaced with carbon, paying attention to every detail. The interior also has a complete car finish.
●Large overhanging RE Amemiya front and rear fenders. There are air outlets on the front fender and bonnet, making it as impressive as a GT machine.

What happened next?
Well... the next thing that happen was when I was talking with Hiyoko, Ibuki and Mikan about the exams...and...well... Hatomi, she came up to me...
Mahiru... calm down and just speak as calmly as you can...
Okay, it was on July 2nd, I... was planning to go on a 5 day trip for my portfolio and after I decided my location, Hatomi and Teruteru wanted to talk with me alone...
...
...
...
Date: July 2nd, 2011
I still haven't decided where to go, do you guys have any ideas?
Hmm Ibuki isn't sure...
Oh hey hey I got it, what about Palau! I travel there before and honestly the location is pretty cool! It's even got a whole coral reef!
Wh-What about China or Australia? Th-They seem nice...!
Whoa whoa Ibuki, the second option is super dangerous; are you aware of the poisonous animals there?!
O-Oh right, I ne-nearly forgot!
Fo-Forgive me Mahiru, I didn't mean to pick such a dangerous location!
It's okay, honestly Australia sounds really cool to visit but I rather not get bitten, any other suggestions?
Hmph, those places sound stupid - seriously you both suck at this!
Oh hey, why not Matsushima? It is July right now and it's pretty good at sunrise.
Oh hey, that's actually a good idea! Thanks Hiyoko!
Yaaaay, I can't wait to see all the photos you took!
Unlike rocker idiot and pigshit, I know perfect locations!
Pi-Pigshit again! Wh-Why are you so mean?!
Oooh those insults sting a bunch but my confidence is too high!
Well anyway, I guess I got a location now; I'll be there for 5 days to take photos.
Aww, I wish I could come but I gotta practice for exams...
Don't worry, I'll be sure to come back on the 7th and I'll start working on my portfolio!
Right-o, will be waiting - hope you have fun on your trip!
See you by the end of the week, Mahiru!
Bye bye big sis Mahiru, hope you have fun!
See you then!
*Mahiru walks away as she heads back to Class*
I better inform the teacher about this just in case...
???: Mahiru there you are!
Huh...? *As then Hatomi and Teruteru rush over to her*
He-Hey Mahiru, we uh... wanted to ask you something; it's about Natsumi... y'know, the girl that's in my brother and sister's class?
Yeah and it's about Natsumi, look I know you told me to ignore her but are you aware what she was doing?!
Hatomi... can we please not talk about this? I thought we agree to not speak about her...

Julie Matsushima: The Automaton
Nona once made an expedition to Earth in search of some unimportant thing someone asked her to retrieve. Luckily her destination was one of the kindled areas of Earth, one of the areas that was rescued from the Outside wave and is actually real again. While she was there she found in a dumpster a girl who looked like she was dead. When looking over this girl Nona discovered multiple lacerations to her skin, but instead of blood there were severed wires and circuits. Somehow she managed to find a person on Earth capable of repairing the damage to this girl and somehow this girl woke up!
She says her name is… some long initialism that I can’t remember exactly but she wanted to be called Julie, the name of the woman who helped create and teach her. Turns out Nona and Julie got really close and Nona informally “adopted” Julie as her baby sister. They’re both back in town now of course and I’ve had some opportunities to talk to Julie on her own. She’s pretty secretive with details of her creation but whatever it was I can tell something really bad happened.
Also she kinda freaks out if you take her to Arcadia. Something in Julie’s head bugs out and she has a bit of a breakdown any time she goes somewhere that’s too bright, too loud, or too smelly. She’s fine afterwards of course but it’s always really stressful for her, poor girl. These days she lives in the outskirts of Fortitude, mostly away from people. She doesn’t hate people exactly, we’re just not quite intuitive to her.
Name: Julie Matsushima High Concept: The Automaton Type: Mundane Age: Unknown, appears 13 or 14 Species: Robot Gender: Female XP Emotion: Offering You Comfort XP MP: 1/1

Kassandra von Aschenbach, Kristin Albrecht, Bettina Albrecht, Irene Antoniadi, Anja Asche, Mona Babl, Beate Baumholzer, Herlambang Bayu Aji, Frauke Bergemann, Julia Brodauf, Cassia Callenius, M.-Ulrike Callenius, Vanessa Cardui, Emilie Cognard, Till Cremer, Christel Daesler, Amelie Degendorfer, Skadi Engeln, Vanessa Farfán, Daniela Fromberg, Manfred Fuchs, anna onno gatjal, Dagmar Gester, Johanna Grotzke, Hyojun Hyun, Agnes Immelmann, Elmira Iravanizad, Chris Kamprad, Judith Karcheter, Buffy Klama, Lieselotte Krüger, Andrea Lein, Marta Leite, Oliver Lipinski, Chus López Vidal, Silvia Lorenz, Rei Matsushima, Regina Mielich, Thomas Möller, Felix Müller, Silvia Nettekoven, Simone Ommert, H. SHL 2012 ending letter
HONEEEY FLASH!! 🐱
~~~
I originally thought that I want to share my thoughts after watching the live viewing of Super Handsome Live (SHL) 2012 on July 15, but because it will be filled mostly with my ramblings about Takeru’s performances and antics, I decided not to continue on that way LOL.
One thing I can say for anyone here still wondering to watch it or not, especially if you’re a fan of Takeru, because SHL 2012 was his last year performing in the whole event, it’s worth every single penny.
So instead of ramblings, I decided to share a quick translation for a letter that is read during the ending of the show, written and read by all performers. For me, this is a beautiful thank you letter from them 💖
As always, please don’t repost without permission, thank you!
Kazama Yujiro: All of you, thank you for today. At the end of this day, all of us have the same thoughts to tell to all of you, so we wrote this letter together.
Yoshimura Takuya: We as actors, normally don't have that many chances to directly meet all of you who have been rooting for us.
Totani Kimito: That's why we arranged this yearly Handsome Live, so we can directly deliver our gratitude to all of you.
Aoyagi Ruito: To enjoy together even more, to laugh together even more, to be able to feel the excitement together even more, we created this event as a result of our intense practice.
Kamiki Ryuunosuke: We are worried if our current effort is correct. However after listening to your voices and seeing your smiles, for the first time we are able to feel relieved.
Izuka Kenta: One smile creates new smiles, thus becoming a much bigger smile.
Mizuta Kouki: You can believe that the connection is not one-sided, that you are connected with us.
Koseki Yuta: Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for pushing our back.
Matsushima Shota: Thank you for walking together with us.
Yanagisawa Takahiko: The gratitude we want to tell you, is not enough with only one word.
Uehara Takuya: Thank you very, very much.
Nomura Shuhei: During hard times, during lonely times enough to make you cry, we hope that you will remember this day.
Hirano Kinari: Please don't forget that you have all of us.
Yoshizawa Ryo: We'll be really glad if we can become your mental support even if it's only a little.
Hirama Soichi: From now on, we will continue to challenge new things, so that we can become the pride of all of you supporting us.
Kaku Kento: Let's walk together towards a brighter future.
Miura Haruma: Lastly, we really love all of you.
Sato Takeru: Until next time, we look forward to a day we'll meet again. We hope that your 2013 will be filled with happiness. Thank you very much for this 1 year.
ありがとう、大好きだよ! 心から感謝してる。 これからもずっとその笑顔で 僕のそばにいて、君だけを見てる❤️
Book: Ringu By Koji Suzuki
Film: Ring (1998)
A Japanese mystery horror novel by Koji Suzuki first published in 1991, and set in modern-day Japan. The novel was the first in the Ring novel series, and the first of a trilogy, along with two sequels: Spiral (1995) and Loop (1998). The original Ring novel sold 500,000 copies by January 1998, and 1.5 million copies by July 2000.[1] Ring was the basis for the Ring franchise, including a 1995 television film (Ring: Kanzenban), a 1998 theatrical film of the same name (Ring), a television series (Ring: The Final Chapter), and two international film remakes of the 1998 film: a South Korean version (The Ring Virus) and an English-language version (The Ring).
This Japanese horror film directed by Hideo Nakata and based on the 1991 novel by Koji Suzuki stars stars Nanako Matsushima, Miki Nakatani and Hiroyuki Sanada, and follows a reporter who is racing to investigate the mystery behind a cursed videotape that kills the viewer seven days after watching it. It is titled The Ring (stylized as the Ring) in English in Japan and released as Ringu in North America.
Production took approximately nine months. Ring and its sequel Spiral were released in Japan at the same time. After its release, Ring was a huge box office success in Japan and was acclaimed by critics. It inspired numerous follow-ups in the Ring franchise, popularized J-horror internationally, and triggered a trend of Western remakes, starting with the 2002 American film The Ring.
How to take away dandruff:
first-class home treatments and products There are sufficient issues to address on a every day basis when it comes to your hair. Is it too greasy? Too dry? Too flat? Too voluminous? Too curly? Too directly?
Then, of route, there’s always the scary dandruff. It’s difficult to miss the small, white flakes that linger for your scalp. But at the same time as the condition may be very commonplace, it also can be difficult to deal with.
If you are trying to parent out a way to remove dandruff, look no similarly. We spoke to experts to help slim down the pleasant ways to deal with the pesky hassle.
What is dandruff? Dandruff is a common condition that impacts the scalp. It reasons the pores and skin of the scalp to become itchy followed by way of flakes of dead skin. It normally begins around puberty and starts offevolved to subside across the age of 50, in keeping with the Journal of Clinical and Investigative Dermatology.
The severity of dandruff can range from case to case. Some instances are much less competitive and are smooth to treat whilst others might require a medicated technique to remedy.
Your skin constantly replaces itself and vintage cells are pushed outward wherein they die and flake off. Usually, those flakes are small and unnoticeable. In the case of those with dandruff, the pores and skin cells can begin to replace more rapidly than the normal cycle. Therefore, the skin sheds in oily, large clumps which can emerge as visible.
What causes dandruff? “The most common purpose of dandruff is seborrheic dermatitis or occasionally known as seborrhea,” said Julie Matsushima, a licensed medical esthetician.
Dry pores and skin, sensitivity to particular hair products and pores and skin situations like eczema or psoriasis could make you greater liable to having dandruff. It is likewise believed that the not unusual fungus malassezia can cause dandruff.
“Malassezia will increase skin mobile increase and those more skin cells die and flake off,” Matsushima explained.
Dandruff also can get worse whilst you’re careworn or ill. Cold, dry winters can also trigger dandruff or growth its severity. Diet plays its role, as deficiency in vitamin B or zinc can cause dandruff as well, in line with Matsushima.
Believe it or no longer, hygiene can also have an effect on your possibilities of managing dandruff.
"The longer you cross in between shampooing, the flakier your scalp can get," said Dr. Alan Parks, a board-certified dermatologist and founding father of DermWarehouse.
So in case you're tempted to attempt the "no poo" movement, take into account that washing your hair much less often can by chance purpose the oils and skin cells for your brisbane scalp micropigmentation to accumulate, which can purpose visible dandruff.
Shampooing too often, then again, also can dry out your scalp and result in dandruff, Parks said, so it's all approximately finding that stability that maintains your hair and scalp moisturized and flake-loose.
Though each person can be at risk of dandruff, it clearly seems more frequently in men than ladies.
What are the signs of dandruff? One of the primary symptoms of dandruff is an itchy scalp. Red and greasy patches can also seem, in addition to a tingly feeling on the skin. You can also feel dryness, tightness or inflammation in your scalp.
“Overall, dandruff lessens throughout hotter weather, Matsushima said. “Dandruff also can make the scalp end up swollen or inflamed. You should additionally searching for medical attention ought to this occur.”
You also can revel in dandruff in your eyebrows, chest hair, groin vicinity and armpits.
What are the fine dandruff shampoos to put off it speedy? Matsushima said that merchandise with pyrithizone zinc are popular for treating dandruff because it contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal houses. She also recommended coal-based totally shampoos (to gradual down the increase of pores and skin cells), selenium sulfide shampoos (to slow pores and skin cellular increase and decrease malassezia) and salicylic acid (to exfoliate the scalp).
Since nobody hair solution will right away treatment your dandruff, it is clever to replace things up each every so often to hold your flakes at bay, in step with Dr. Parks: "It’s good to rotate among one-of-a-kind substances and no longer use the equal all the time, in any other case you’ll build up a tolerance to the ingredient."
While you could want to test with different shampoos to discover the ideal fit, those are famous merchandise to help with the milder cases of dandruff.
monthly movie highlight - july 2021
Undine (2020) dir. Christian Petzold
When I first saw the trailer for Undine, I immediately knew I had to see it - it screamed a movie I’d love. I was, of course, right. I usually am with movies. Christian Petzold is one of the best romantic screenwriters of this era. His movies are modern melodramas that remind me of the best of the classic era. There is a gentle build in this movie that, at times, makes it feel like a thriller - the rhythmic and slowness of the shots, what sounds like a ticking clock in the background. And Paula Beer and Franz Rogowski genuinely have chemistry! As someone who has seen actors smashed together like barbie dolls in an attempt to get as many butts into seats as possible, seeing two people genuinely have not only sexual but also romantic chemistry feels revolutionary. Seeing them interact on screen is electric.
Eat a Bowl of Tea (1989) dir. Wayne Wang
I had previously known Wayne Wang for The Joy Luck Club (1993) and Maid in Manhattan (2002), so I was quite curious to see an earlier picture by him. In Eat a Bowl of Tea, you can see the sensitivity and the balance of comedy and serious drama that characterized in said later films, though in a far rougher form. The tone shifts in this film can be jarring at times, and at times it is extremely clumsy. However, the thing that stood out to me the most was Russell Wong, who felt miscast. Cora Miao often carries the scenes in which they are together (though she is phenomenal in the film); while there are comedic moments that I love from him, there are times when he is so wooden that it took me out of the movie.
Ringu (1998) dir. Hideo Nakata
I always watch movies that are generally acknowledged as being great and go “wow, they really did something with this one.” Like, of course, Citizen Kane is great, idiot. Well, that’s what happened with Ringu. There is so much I could say about the movie: the deceptively simple cinematography that is truly amazing, the effective blending of different genre’s that rarely can be done in America (especially for a big studio), the masterclass performance from Nanako Matsushima, the fact that everyone in this film outrageously gorgeous. But what stood out to me during this watch was the changes that were made in adaption for this movie to make it palatable for audiences, because the books, frankly, are gross. The first one in the trilogy is filled with characters that suck really bad, and the screenplay is absolutely toned down from the bleakness and darkness of the books. The “sidekick” that helps the main character search for the truth is an outright sex offender and pervert. The original Sadako’s backstory is so dark that I kind of root for her. Also, and this is a big one, the books are about fatherhood and the change from the book series’ focus on fatherhood to motherhood in the movie completely changes the story. This means that the main character is a woman, which helps reduce the grossness that comes up in the book series - is there some unwritten rule in horror that all male-centered stories must be filled with creeps? - and how she interacts with the set of circumstances also reinforces ideas about mothers in popular culture (self-sacrificing, willing to do anything for their children, etc Though I do think the film turns some of these ideas on their heads). I think this, plus the medium of film, allows the story to become more understandable, less bat-shit crazy. Because it is that - if you have ever spent more than 15 minutes trying to understand the books or even do a critical analysis of the film you would see this. It’s worry about technological advances, the merging of the modern with the traditional, the fear for children’s safety - this all lends really well to a narrative of a driven divorcee who is not only trying to uncover a case but also protecting her son no matter the cost.
Transit (2018) dir. Christian Petzold
Is a second Christian Petzold movie on my list? Of course, you read me say how he’s literally my twin flame, I love every movie of his I’ve watched. The timelessness of this film is thanks to a level of skill that I can only dream of. This is simultaneously a WW2 film and a poignant film about the current state of affairs in the world. This film also shows Petzold’s vision that creates a modern melodrama in a way that does not feel soppy or histrionic, rather it is perfectly romantic and dreamy while still having a dark bleakness that is essential to any melodrama.
Shiva Baby (2020) dir. Emma Seligman
When I finished watching this movie, I went “Oh god, I’ve missed good scripts.” And Shiva Baby has a phenomenal script. It’s witty and heartbreaking, relatable and alienating all at once. Have I mentioned how funny this movie is? I belly laughed while watching this movie. It is the perfect mix of situational comedy and women-on-the-verge that I really love. And every performance in this is great. It reminded me of Metropolitan for its funny and cutting dialogue and focus on its small cast of characters. Every review you have heard rave about this movie is correct.
The Bling Ring (2013) dir. Sofia Coppola
There’s something strange about this movie. A lack of spirit permeates this film, a hollowness that does not add to this movie. Everything about this movie feels off-kilter to me, especially as someone who knows exactly what the bling ring was. The clothing is off. The story is off. The music, while banger, is off. The decision to focus on Emma Watson due to her A-List status absolutely fucks with the momentum of the story. And I have to emphasize that the energy of the movie is baffling. It feels so quiet and dull for what is essentially supposed to be a coked-out heist movie. Yeah, these characters are at the club getting fucked up to an Azealia Banks song, but it’s just another series of images that I don’t feel like I should care about. It’s disappointing to me that Sofia Coppola, who has in the past succeeded in making an emotionally detached movie emotionally engaging, fails in this film.
Meet Me in Las Vegas (1956) dir. Roy Rowland
This has to be one of my favorite Cyd Charisse movies, in terms of acting and dancing. I am a sucker for a dance with a whole narrative. While Charisse wasn’t the strongest actress, though she was one of the best ballet/dance actresses, she undeniably had star quality. She exudes charm in this movie. Whenever I see her go outside of her comfort zone I imagine a career for her where she was able to take more risks. Tragically she was contracted to MGM who often refused to loan her out to make films that were outside her comfort zone. Nevertheless, she gives a phenomenal performance in Meet Me in Las Vegas, using her best qualities as an actress to charm us all.
The Velvet Touch (1948) dir. Jack Gage
I love a dark Rosalind Russell role. Yes, she’s a great comedian, but I would rather watch the lost 5 hour cut of Mourning Becomes Electra than any of her iconic comedic roles, even in The Women (I’m not joking about this, I would do anything to make this my reality). In The Velvet Touch, Russell is able to bring paranoid and anxious energy in one moment while being tragically romantic the next. She brings righteous, fiery anger as easily as calculated seduction. And her ability to bring her stage acting with her movie acting truly makes this performance. This movie is gorgeously shot, the lighting is otherworldly - a lush film noir that should definitely be checked out.
Chinatown (1974) dir. Roman Polanski
Chinatown is the kind of movie that I don’t love but I get why others do. It is extremely watchable, even when you know the ending you think maybe this time it will be different. Faye Dunaway’s performance makes the film, and this movie has one of the most iconic closing lines ever. However, what I kept coming back to during my recent rewatch was who directed this movie. I think we can all agree that Polanski sucks and is an awful rotted little man. But whenever the conversation turns toward his actual work, people seem to be willing to lay their lives down for this man. It confuses me, this trend of director-as-god; and I have to ask: what do people consider a good director to be? Because by my standards of what makes a good director, he comes nowhere close. His noted unprofessionalism, his treatment of his actors and collaborators makes him a failure of a director to me. Movies aren’t the vision of one person, it’s a collaborative art, and a director's job is to act as a counselor and mediator on set, to inspire everyone to do their job really well. Barbra Streisand is a good example of a director who was able to pull rare, phenomenal performances out of her actors due to her style of directing - a healthy, compassionate form of directing that put her cast and crew’s health and comfort first. I imagine a Chinatown where there was what I consider a good director, what kind of performances would have come out of it, and I mourn the loss of something that could have gone beyond what is already a great film.
Double Wedding (1937) dir. Richard Thorpe
What shocked me most about this movie was the performances. William Powell is perfectly funny and charming as he usually was. However, it was Myrna Loy’s performance that knocked me off my feet. She is so funny in this movie, not just witty but funny. She has these wonderful moments of physical comedy throughout the film, but especially toward the end, that had me belly laughing. Her increasing indignation and cries for help from Powell's character as she has a “fight” with a drunkard was truly delightful. And the ending is the most chaotic thing I have ever seen.
Madame Du Barry (1934) dir. William Dieterle
I’ve tried to find how Dolores del Rio got the lead role as Madame Du Barry but came up empty-handed. Thank god she did though because this has to be one of my favorite early sound period dramas. I’ve read quite a few reviews of this movie that dismiss del Rio’s performance or say that it’s just okay, but I think that ignores the nuance she brings to it. I don’t think a lot of actresses would have been able to do what she did. Many would have made the character flat and silly, a one-dimensional tramp. Instead, we see the softer sides of her character, her practicality, and her little girl giddiness. This is best seen in the final scene of the movie where we see, just for a moment, that the passing of her lover has genuinely affected her. While its politics could best be described as floaty, uninterested in the way most studio features were, its sexual freedom and lack of serious condemnation and even sympathetic portrayal of its titular female character make it stand out for me.
Kitty Foyle (1940) dir. Sam Wood
In the long-running theme of my life of actresses who were underappreciated, I want to talk about Ginger Rogers. She is so good in this movie - she is an actress that I think would thrive today. I look at her performance in this and then look at her later performances in movies like Perfect Strangers (which she carries, by the way) and Monkey Business and it angers me that she has been routinely overlooked as an actress. Take Monkey Business, for example, the energy she is able to bring into her performances is still electric and she is extremely funny in that movie. Cary Grant looks like he’s phoning it in next to her. And you see her later TV performances, and it’s still the same thing! Truly we need to put more respect to this woman’s name.
