Selain itu, penerapan WFH juga sebagai langkah upaya mengurangi polusi udara, khususnya di daerah Jabodetabek. Sejatinya, sejak pandemi Covid-19 pada 2020, sektor usaha dan dunia bisnis swasta di Indonesia telah menerapkan pola kerja Work From Home (WFH) secara efektif, terutama bagi jenis pekerjaan dan usaha tertentu yang tidak memerlukan kehadiran fisik setiap saat. Sesuai dengan pandangan dari Lembaga Kerja Sama Tripartit Nasional (LKS Tripnas) yang disampaikan dalam rapat pada Selasa (22/8/2023). LKS Tripnas adalah forum komunikasi, konsultasi, dan musyawarah tentang masalah ketenagakerjaan yang diketuai oleh Menteri Ketenagakerjaan dan beranggotakan perwakilan pekerja, pengusaha, dan pemerintah. Wakil Menteri Ketenagakerjaan, Afriansyah Noor mengatakan LKS Tripnas memberikan dukungan yang kuat untuk kelancaran dan kesuksesan pelaksanaan KTT ASEAN ke-43 yang akan diselenggarakan di Jakarta. “Dengan semangat untuk mendukung suksesnya KTT ASEAN ke-43, LKS Tripnas merekomendasikan kepada Menteri Dalam Negeri untuk mengimbau kepada Pemerintah Daerah terkait agar menyediakan program khusus berupa insentif bagi pengguna transportasi publik, selama pelaksanaan KTT ASEAN ke-43 tanggal 3-8 September 2023,” ucap Wamenaker dikutip dari JPNN.
