Yesterday, in NYC, a man lit a woman, who was sleeping in a subway car, on fire until she died. So the man arrested will be charged with terrorism as well as murder, correct? His attack was also threatening the lives of other homeless people (which it is assumed she was so). Surely he will also be charged with terrorism for scaring those people, right?

Or is it only terrorism when rich people are threatened?

Also, surely the fact the person who did this being an undocumented immigrant won’t be mentioned in every single news article about it, right? A woman was brutally murdered. Who gives a shit where the perpetrator is from, all we should care is that he is detained and punished.

Right?

We all agreed to this, right?

Or does race and immigration status only matter when a non-white and or undocumented immigrant commits a crime?

Same place, same police.

And I think we all know how differently this murder will be treated. And why.

Here in Gaza, it’s 55°F (13°C), and it’s raining heavily. While many people around the world enjoy the winter under warm blankets or with a hot drink, life here is very different.

Families who lost their homes are living in tents that can’t protect them from the cold or the rain. The ground turns to mud, and the wind cuts through the thin fabric. It’s hard to imagine staying warm in these conditions, but for many here, this is their reality.

For families like Islam’s, winter is a season of pain. His family lives in a tent that barely stands against the rain and wind. His mother is fighting cancer, and his grandfather, who is over 85 years old and has a physical disability, suffers greatly in the cold. Last winter was unbearable for them, and this year is starting to feel just as harsh.

Winter here isn’t magical; it’s survival!!

Thinking about how somewhere out there there has to be a whole Brooklynn Protection Squad. Like there was someone who got her out of the forest after the dino attack. There was at least one surgeon who saved her life under the radar, because there's no way that girl was taken to a hospital for surgery and is still presumed dead. It's pretty likely there was more than one medical professional helping her out considering her injury. There's someone who gave her a place to stay, someone who helped her get computer equipment, people who are being her eyes and ears in this whole thing~

I just CAN'T WAIT to get Brooklynn's pov on everything cause I feel like there's gotta be so many new characters, and i just ~love~ a found family <333

Quentin was dragged out of town and left for dead at the end of the second game, lucky for him his body was found in time and brought to a local hospital in a small town, but with no ID on his body and a bad case of amnesia he has been left in a bit of a predicament! Nobody seems to be able to figure out who he is, it's like any trace he left behind was wiped off the face of the earth. Luckily for our John Doe the town was gracious enough to house him for a bit and supply him a janitorial job in the same hospital he was cared for in, gotta work off those pricey medical bills somehow!

However the small town a little ways off of Raven Brooks has it's own set of mysterious goings-on, and in between being clumsily reintroduced to life "Ike" can't seem to help but stumble upon a new murder mystery every other week. He just seems to have a weird knack for figuring this kind of thing out! Maybe one of these mysteries happening just Outside Raven Brooks will jog his memory, he can't help but feel like he was doing something important before all this...
