Foxbury
Akela Ngata-Kealoha (26) - Jamila Puri-Watson (22) - June Behr-Le Chien (24)
Tumblr media
Britechester
Adonis Caliente (24) - Tiana Tracey-Rasoja (24) - Hanna Scott-Lee (25)
These young adults come from all over SimNation and now they are trying to get to know each other. Some have traveled very far to get here, others have their family almost next door.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Akela Ngata-Kealoha
A bit far away from her beloved Sulani, she has to admit that. But otherwise Akela is having the time of her life! She is studying Biology at Foxbury, hoping to one day get far in the career of sports - but honestly, she could imagine staying here and start researching. There is so much to learn and discover!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jamila Puri-Watson
Growing up as the only child, Jamila never really had to share her space with other kids. Now, she is getting that experience in spades. She is enjoying herself, but it has been hard to get the hang of living in a shared space. Jamila dreams of being a body builder, and just like Akela she is studying Biology.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
June Behr-Le Chien
Did anyone say they needed a party planner? June comes from a family who knows how to work the dance floor and she isn't slow on showing her friends. However, her dream is to become a veterinarian. She just love cats! And honestly, she isn't too sure she'll go back to San Myshuno after her studies. She wants to have many animals, and that's not really suitable in a city.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Adonis Caliente
Sure, he enjoys studying Language and Literature (he is after all dreaming of becoming an author) but Adonis is one who appreciates Life. Appreciates Art. Other people.
Some might call him lazy and a flirt. Adonis simply doesn't understand why the need to rush through life.
Sometimes he longs for the desert life in Oasis Springs. But then, he writes a poem about it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tiana Tracey-Rasoya
Going home to Brindleton bay isn't a long journey, but Tiana loves being outside her hometown. As much as she misses her parents' cooking, she is definitely enjoying her life studying History. She actually hopes to be a judge one day, but getting a good job in that sector could be hard. And she has a feeling such dreams doesn't ake her back to Brindleton bay.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hanna Scott-Lee
Honestly, is Josef going to call today? She needs his help, she totally flunked "Violin Through the Ages" and her second chance is just this week!
And also, he's pretty cute. Sure, Hanna isn't actively dating - but it wouldn't be too bad if she apart from a degree leaves Britechester with a boyfriend? Or at least, a new experience.

OK, December 21
You can buy a copy of this issue for your very own at my eBay store: https://www.ebay.com/str/bradentonbooks
Cover: Queen Elizabeth cancels Christmas
Tumblr media
Page 1: Big Pic -- David Beckham in an ad for Haig Club
Page 2: Contents
Tumblr media
Page 4: Bella and Olivia Jade Giannulli -- life on their own -- find out what Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s daughters have been up to while their famous parents sweat it out in prison -- Bella has been so stressed out and felt she deserved a trip with her buds so she went to a luxury resort in Santa Barbara over Thanksgiving weekend
Page 6: It’s been a little over a year since Felicity Huffman was released from prison after serving her time for role in the college admissions scandal but she is finally starting to get her life and career back on track -- initially she was nervous about working again given the controversy and everything that went down and she seriously wondered if there would be anything out there for her material-wise but she shouldn’t have worried as she landed a part in an upcoming pilot in which she’ll play a recently widowed owner of a Triple-A baseball team and she’s really excited about the show
Page 7: Kristin Cavallari is fed up with Carrie Underwood’s meddling in her divorce from Jay Cutler -- after Kristin called time on her seven-year marriage Carrie and her husband Mike Fisher who used to be Nashville couple-friends to both Kristin and Jay have taken Jay’s side and since then there’s been some snide stuff said that’s made it clear how Carrie really fills about Kristin -- while Jay spent Thanksgiving with Carrie and Mike, Kristin filmed a wine-fueled Instagram Live and Carrie finds this type of thirsty behavior on social media incredibly lame and she’s saying it’s obvious Kristin cares more about upping her profile than making any type of family peace
* After nearly 60 years in showbiz Cher has a different aspirations -- since traveling to Pakistan to help a mistreated elephant from a local zoo be relocated to an animal sanctuary she’s saying this is her new mission to help endangered species in third world countries and campaign for other good eco causes -- Cher spends much of her time cooped up and bored in her Malibu mansion and her trip made her realize there’s a world out there that needs her help
* Mark Harmon of NCIS is all work and no play these days and nearly two decades in the same TV gig as Leroy Gibbs has only made things worse as the responsibilities of the show seem to wear heavier on Mark by the year and even on a break you can’t get him to crack a smile or tell a joke; he’d rather go lie down in his trailer -- off set Mark and his wife of 33 years Pam Dawber get along because they’re such homebodies and Mark can usually be found working on his cars in the garage or relaxing in the yard and he cherishes his quiet time but people have stopped inviting him out because he’s known as Mr. Boring
Page 8: Dolly Parton is spreading Christmas cheer far and wide with a new TV special and album and Netflix movie but at her home in Tennessee the holiday spirit is decidedly lacking because Dolly is forgoing her favorite 40-year-running traditions which are filling her house with trees and driving her nieces and nephews and their kids around her farm in golf carts dressed as Santa and handing out presents because of her concern for her husband Carl Dean who has Alzheimer’s disease and he’s in a high-risk group for coronavirus so she’s restricted the property to just them and two staff members -- it breaks Dolly’s heart to have to cancel her big annual celebration and she’s still decorated her home to the nines but it’s a lonely feeling knowing the family won’t be there to see it
* Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton are proving themselves to be perfectly postmodern parents by raising their kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis with firm rules for TV and electronic use -- Kate who recently revealed she’s fielded her share of temper tantrums actively attempts to stave off meltdowns with a strict rewards chart and the kids have to earn screen time -- Kate prefers to keep them busy with activities like board games and hikes and baking which the children enjoy anyway
* After spending the last several years living a relatively low-key life in his native England Russell Brand is desperate to have a bigger presence in Hollywood but his wife Laura insists he stay put -- Russell’s craving SoCal living and the copious acting jobs and event invites that came with it but Laura prefers their British life outside the spotlight with their young daughters -- while some work has come to him in England like the upcoming Death on the Nile if he had his way he’d make a more aggressive career push in L.A.
Page 10: Red Hot on the Red Carpet -- stars stand out in festive green dresses -- Carly Pearce, Angela Bassett, Zendaya
Page 11: Jodie Comer, Adriana Lima
Page 12: Who Wore It Better? Melissa Gorga vs. Jennifer Lahmers, Abigail Spencer vs. Hailey Bieber in Max Mara, Olivia Culpo vs. Aurora Culpo
Page 14: News in Photos -- Brooke Burke with Christmas ornaments that will be auctioned by non-profit Operation Smile
Page 16: Audrina Patridge brought along her daughter Kirra’s favorite toys for a picnic in Beverly Hills, Padma Lakshmi visits The Vitamin Shoppe in NYC, Brandy at the BET Soul Train Awards
Page 17: Kelly Rutherford felt the love from her dogs in L.A., Shawn Mendes out for a walk in Miami
Page 21: Robin Wright and husband Clement Giraudet held hands while riding their bikes in L.A., long-time friends Gabrielle Union and Snoop Dogg unpacked ingredients delivered by Shipt
Page 22: Josh Duhamel on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Karlie Kloss on her new Adidas collection
Page 24: Vanessa Hudgens snuggled up to her beloved pup Darla while at the park in L.A., Jay-Z taking a walk around the island in Hawaii
Page 25: Kimora Lee Simmons and her children handed out food to residents of a housing complex, Prince Jackson safely helped a community church distribute food to those in need
Page 26: Inside My Home -- Ariel Winter’s stylish setup
Page 28: Like most Garth Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood have had a challenging 2020 but their 15-year marriage was put to the test this past summer when the country superstars’ daughter Allie tested positive for Covid-19 -- they were worried sick and had to go into quarantine themselves and not being able to hold Allie’s hand was terrible for both of them but fortunately Allie’s case was mild and Garth and Trisha’s tests came back negative
Page 30: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott who have amicably coparented their daughter Stormi since their split last year and recently spent Thanksgiving together as a family are drawing up plans to have another baby together in 2021 because both of them want to give Stormi a sibling ASAP and neither can imagine going through this process with anyone else -- the exes are figuring out a contract to specify their family plans that will protect Kylie’s money and outline coparenting terms more formally and give them each an agreeable share of custody if things don’t stay as rosy down the line
* They’ve costarred in five films and have proclaimed they’re each other’s work wives and are finally single at the same time so pals of Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis are urging the longtime friends to give it a go romantically especially now that Jason has split from Olivia Wilde -- Jennifer always says Jason makes her laugh the way no one else can -- while Jason’s primarily focusing on coparenting his kids he’s long harbored warm and fuzzy feelings toward Jen and he would love to ask her out but the only thing holding him back is the potential to ruin their solid friendship
* Love Bites -- Johnny Galecki and Alaina Meyer split, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky dating, Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan engaged
Page 31: Matthew Perry’s loved ones are worried the Friends star has made a rash call by suddenly getting engaged to literary manager Molly Hurwitz -- the on-off two-year romance between Matthew and Molly has been dysfunctional from the get-go and Matthew’s way more into this than Molly who seems to love him more like a brother
* A rough year for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle including inter-family strife and a move across the pond and a devastating miscarriage has only strengthened their bond -- after Meghan revealed she and Harry had miscarried in July the two were quite overwhelmed by the outpouring of compassion and the response not only validated their decision to go public a thousand times over but it also helped them grow even closer -- they’re determined to put this behind them and try for another baby at the earliest opportunity but more than anything else it’s really underlined how they belong together as soulmates
Page 32: Cover Story -- Queen Elizabeth’s holiday shake-up -- inside the monarch’s heartbreaking decision to call off the family’s annual Christmas celebration -- the queen will celebrate the holidays at Windsor Castle in Berkshire for the first time in more than three decades -- while the queen is upset not to have the company of the younger royals this year she has to think about her and Prince Philip’s health
Page 36: Katie Holmes’ season of joy -- how Katie is spending the holidays with her new love Emilio Vitolo Jr.
Page 38: Mistaken Identity -- with these celeb look-alikes it’s deja vu all over again -- Carrie Underwood and Reese Witherspoon, Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood
Page 39: Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon, Amy Adams and Isla Fisher, Lucy Hale and Selena Gomez
Page 40: Interview -- Tommy Lee’s new beat -- the veteran rock star opens up about his latest solo album and his new fan base
Page 42: Gal Power -- how Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot gets into superhero shape
Page 43: Fight Club -- these buttkicking superheroines pushed themselves to new limits -- Brie Larson, Scarlett Johansson, Danai Gurira
Page 46: Style -- Zendaya for Lancome’s new mascara
Page 48: Sleek activewear from celeb-loved label Gigi C Bikinis makes it easy to look like a star when you work out
Page 49: 5 minutes with Adrienne Bailon

Upcoming Marvel Movie Releases: Complete MCU Phase 4 Schedule
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
We’ve got everything you need to know about the upcoming Marvel movie(and TV!) schedule all in one place! The Marvel Cinematic Universe plan now stretches all the way to 2023 (and beyond). The amazing thing is, it’s even more ambitious than we anticipated, with new movies getting announced all the time. It looks like even something on the massive scale of Avengers: Endgame was only the beginning. How can anything ever be bigger than that crazy Avengers: Endgame finale?
Well, it looks like we’re going to find out…eventually.
We’ve compiled as much information as we can find on every Marvel movie coming out in the next few years in a handy release calendar for you. This is where you can check out all the details on Marvel Phase 4 and beyond. You probably want to know a little more about the future of the MCU and all the other Marvel movies in development. Well, we’ve got you covered! However, be advised, almost every single MCU Phase 4 date has recently shifted because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which is wreaking havoc with every industry in the world, so update your calendars accordingly!
These dates have already shifted several times recently, and the most recent changes affect Black Widow, Eternals, and Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Don’t be surprised if they continue to move as things develop with the pandemic, but hopefully by the time Black Widow is ready to come out, we’ll have reached the end of this nonsense.
WandaVision
release date: Jan. 15, 2021
Yes, technically this isn’t a movie release, but with all of the release date changes, and the fact that it has been over a year since the last actual MCU release, we’ll take the good stuff where we can get it. And make no mistake, WandaVision very much appears to be the good stuff.
Ever wonder what happened to Wanda after she went all Scarlet Witch on Thanos in Avengers: Endgame? Well, you’re gonna find out in WandaVision, which appears to depict a grief-riddled Wanda dealing with the death of Vision in less than healthy ways.
Elizabeth Olsen is, of course, back as Wanda, and so is Paul Bettany as the Vision. This show is going to have serious ties to the MCU, with elements that will be important for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and Captain Marvel 2 having prominent roles. The trailer is packed with MCU strangeness, which we wrote about here.
WandaVision is the first of a number of MCU focused shows coming to Disney+ over the next year. 2021 will then (hopefully) bring us Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki. Since these will also be vital to the future of the MCU, we’ll add them to this calendar as they get release windows and/or trailers get released.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
release date: March 19, 2021
“The legacy of that shield is complicated.”
Yes, it is. And we’re going to find out just how complicated when Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes reckon with the legacy of Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+. Here’s the official synopsis for the series…
“Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.”
Yes, like WandaVision, this isn’t a theatrical release, but also like that show, this is far too important to the future of the MCU to ignore.
Morbius
Release Date: March 19, 2021
Spider-Man spinoff Morbius is Sony’s next big Marvel release, and it’ll officially be the first spinoff to properly connect to the MCU.
Safe House‘s Daniel Espinosa directs from a script by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway, as former Joker Jared Leto plays the anti-hero biochemist who finds a cure for his rare blood disease by using vampire bat blood. As you can imagine, there are consequences: he turns into a living vampire, for one.
Um…don’t be surprised if this one ends up moving off this date at some point at the rate we’re going.
Read more about the character of Michael Morbius here, and find everything you need to know about his upcoming movie, right here.
Black Widow
Release Date: May 7, 2021
The Black Widow movie was heading for a May 1, 2020 release before the coronavirus outbreak, but Disney and Marvel have decided to delay it until the industry’s infrastructure is back to some semblance of normal. First they bumped it to November, but now we have to wait almost a full year from that originally scheduled date before we see Natasha and friends. Disney and Marvel Studios seem absolutely committed to keeping Natasha on a theatrical release rather than sending her to Disney+.
Cate Shortland directed the film, and Scarlett Johansson stars, with Florence Pugh and David Harbour alongside her. One of the movie’s villains is Taskmaster, and we wrote a little bit more about him right here.
Natasha Romanoff will get a prequel movie of sorts here, as we catch up with Widow around the events of Captain America: Civil War. Will the plot affect her character’s ultimate fate in Endgame? Do not count on it.
We have more information on the Black Widow movie right here.
Loki
release date: May 2021
Tom Hiddleston will reprise his most famous role, as Loki finds himself on a heist through time and space after the events of Avengers: Endgame! Oh, and based on this trailer, there’s all kinds of weirdness awaiting, including the return of Heimdall, some other Asgardian hijinks, and…Loki running for President!
Look, he couldn’t possibly do a worse job than the guy who’s been there for the last four years so…Vote Loki!
Venom: Let There Be Carnage
Release Date: June 25, 2021
Andy Serkis (Mowgli) steps behind the camera for Venom 2, which now boasts the catchy title of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, replacing Ruben Fleischer as director this time around. The first film, buoyed by a terrific showing at the Chinese box office, made an absolute ton of money, despite being released to mostly scathing reviews.
Venom 2 will follow up Sony’s 2018 Spider-Man-less spinoff film, but will likely be more connected to the MCU this time around, thanks to a renewed deal between the company and its Marvel Studios partners. Tom Hardy will return as Eddie Brock, of course, and as you can probably guess from that title, he’ll be facing off against Woody Harrelson’s villain, Cletus Kasady aka Carnage!
This one was originally tentatively scheduled for October, 2020, but has been shuffled away for the moment as studios continue to move release dates around because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Read everything else you need to know about Venom 2.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Release date: July 9, 2021
Simu Liu has been cast as the titular Shang-Chi and Tony Leung as The Mandarin (hey, that name sounds familiar! But this time, we’re getting the real Mandarin on screen). Destin Daniel Cretton is directing from a script by Dave Callaham. Given its “Ten Rings” title, Shang-Chi should be steeped in Marvel lore!
This has been delayed twice. Let’s hope that’s the end of it. At least it has resumed production!
We have more info on the Shang-Chi movie right here.
The Eternals
Release Date: Nov. 5, 2021
The Eternals has completed principal photography and is on post-production. Chloe Zhao is directing from a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
The cast features Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Gemma Chan as Sersi, and Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman, the Black Knight.
This one was another victim of the release date shuffle, having moved from February of 2021 to November of that year. We’ll get to see Jack Kirby‘s wildest creations eventually!
You can read more about The Eternals movie right here.
Spider-Man 3
Release Date: Dec. 17, 2021
While the next Spider-Man movie doesn’t have a title yet, it’s happening, and the best news of all is that it’s happening in the MCU! Marvel and Sony solved their differences, good sense prevailed, and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will remain a vital part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This one, well…this might be a live action Spider-Verse movie from the sound of it. Jamie Foxx will reprise his role as Electro from the maligned Amazing Spider-Man films and Alfred Molina will return from the Raimi era as Doctor Octopus. Wait. Are they trying to make this a multiversal Sinister Six movie? Because…we could be down for that.
Thor: Love and Thunder
Release Date: Feb. 11, 2022
Taika Waititi, who gave us the delightful Thor: Ragnarok, will return to write and direct. Chris Hemsworth will be back, but will it be as Thor? Natalie Portman is your new Thor (yes, you read that right, Jane Foster will wield the hammer…just as she did in the comics!). Christian Bale has also joined the cast as the terrifying Gorr the God Butcher.
We have more info on Thor: Love and Thunder right here.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Release Date: March 25, 2022
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness looks like it will open up the storytelling possibilities in the MCU like never before. And that’s just based on the name alone. Scott Derrickson was scheduled to direct, but has bowed out because of “creative differences” with Marvel. But the good news is that Marvel found a suitable replacement in none other than Sam Raimi, who of course has plenty of superhero experience thanks to his Spider-Man trilogy in the early 2000s!
This one has loads of connections to the wider MCU. Elizabeth Olsen will be here as Scarlet Witch, and the film will also connect to the untitled Spider-Man 3 and its own multiversal ambitions. There are also a few rumors doing the rounds that Jericho Drumm aka Brother Voodoo could be introduced in this sequel. We’ll keep an eye on that and update this if there’s any substance to them.
We have more information on Doctor Strange 2 right here.
Black Panther 2
Release Date: July 8, 2022
Black Panther 2 is still on Disney’s release schedule, despite the tragic, untimely death of star Chadwick Boseman. Marvel has made it official that they have no intention of recasting the role of T’Challa, which is absolutely the right move.
Ryan Coogler will return as director, but there are no other details currently available. We have more information on Black Panther 2 right here.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Sequel
Release Date: October 7, 2022
Is it technically an MCU movie? Nope. But with all the legal weirdness going on between Marvel and Sony, and this franchise’s very multiversal concept, who’s really to say that it ISN’T an MCU movie either, right? In any case, the sequel to the best Spider-Man movie of all time is coming in 2022 with Avatar: The Last Airbender mastermind Joaquim Dos Santos directing and David Callaham writing.
There’s also an “untitled Marvel movie” still technically scheduled for this date but…that is almost certainly not gonna happen now. Expect whatever that project was to move to one of these below dates or to some other currently unspecified date on the calendar.
Captain Marvel 2
Release date: November 11, 2022
WandaVision writer Megan McDonnell has been tapped to write the screenplay for Captain Marvel 2. You know what else is really cool? Candyman‘s Nia DaCosta will direct!
We have no idea where we’ll find Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) in the sequel to her hugely successful first standalone MCU entry. Will she be fighting to loosen her former Kree pals’ iron grip on a pre-Avengers galaxy? Or will the follow up film see her fighting for justice in the present?
Read more about Captain Marvel 2 here.
And then there are still some dates that Marvel has announced that they have yet to match projects to. Those dates are…
Feb. 17, 2023
May 5, 2023
July 28, 2023
Nov. 3, 2023
Some of those dates could very well be good fits for the following films…
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Peyton Reed will return to direct the third installment of the Ant-Man saga, perhaps the most unlikely trilogy in Marvel’s entire arsenal. Paul Rudd will return as Scott Lang, and you can almost certainly expect Evangeline Lilly to return as The Wasp and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
The villain of the film? That will be Kang the Conqueror, who will be played by Lovecraft Country‘s Jonathan Majors. The inclusion of Kang opens up all kinds of interesting possibilities for the MCU, and may even tease the arrival of the Fantastic Four down the line! We wrote more about those possibilities right here.
We’re also going to need fast confirmation on Michael Pena’s return as Luis, though. Luis is key…
This will probably slide in to one of those 2023 release dates above.
Blade
Well this one was a surprise. In 2019, Marvel announced that they will be rebooting the Blade franchise with Mahershala Ali playing the titular daywalker. Ali’s True Detective co-star – and former Blade villain – Stephen Dorff is excited to see what he can do with the character, and so are we.
We have more info on Blade here.
Deadpool 3
Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin will be the writing team tasked with bringing the Merc with a Mouth to the MCU. What a Deadpool 3 could look like in the interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe is, of course, anybody’s guess, but if anyone can crack wise about the follies of this kind of corporate synergy, it’s Ryan Reynolds.
Fantastic Four
The MCU Fantastic Four movie is finally happening! Marvel’s first family will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a film directed by Jon Watts, who did such a wonderful job with the first two MCU Spider-Man movies. That’s all the information that’s out there at the moment, but as soon as we have more, we’ll update this.
We have our own theories on why Marvel went with the Fantastic Four before the X-Men, but that’s another story.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Avengers: Endgame left the team in an interesting place. We broke down some of the story possibilities right here.
After a tumultuous period which saw James Gunn fired and then rehired as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director, he will become the first Marvel director to ever complete a trilogy for the studio. However, Gunn can’t even begin filming Guardians 3 until he finishes production on The Suicide Squad for DC, as well as an HBO Max Peacemaker prequel. Once those projects are finished, he’s free to return to the MCU.
We have everything else you need to know about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 right here.
And as for those others? Well, we’re still waiting on word on where Deadpool 3 will fit since that is (finally) official, as well as movies to bring the X-Men into the MCU. Could any of those 2023 dates do the trick? It’s very possible! And this doesn’t even account for all of the other MCU Disney+ TV shows that don’t have release dates yet like She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Ironheart, Secret Invasion, Armor Wars, and more!
We’ll keep updating this with new information as it becomes available.

PACK YOUR BAGS FAMERS!
We’re heading to Santorini, Greece! On July 7th - July 13th the entire roleplay will be located in Greece for our annual summer trip! Please remember, this event is mandatory. So whether you are on hiatus or not, you must state that your celeb is/was there.
Celebs will be staying at the Santorini Luxury Hotel Ambassador! The Santorini Luxury Hotel Ambassador will have all celebs stay in vaulted suites that have a private pool in each room and a private patio that will enthrall guests with front row seats to the island's world famous sunsets, as well as great panoramic views of the caldera, with villages comprised of traditional white cube houses scattered along the cliff's edge. Guests can sit back and enjoy amenities that include: spas, lounges, bars, indoor and outdoor pools, 5 star restaurants, babysitting, and fitness center.
Under the cut you will find your roommates! Please know, your roommate is also your SYNC partner for the month of July. That means you will have the entire month (until July 31st at midnight EST) to get a thread done with your partner! Because we are giving the entire month to get this done, everyone is included on the list regardless if they are on hiatus or not. However, those on reduced activity were NOT included. The subject of your thread does not have to be about the Greece trip! Please remember the following:
This is a mandatory thread. We will be keeping track, please do not make us give out strikes :(
Please tag the main in your chatzy, para, gif chat or f2f when you reach at least 8 notes.
Texts also count! Please send your text thread to the main via IM once you reach at least 12 notes since those don’t require as much.
No matter what type of thread you and your partner choose, please make sure it has substantial replies (on both ends) and not just a three word reply - the point is to build new connections!
New members coming into the group will be added up until July 10th.
After that they will not be added into the list since it wouldn’t be fair to hold them to the same requirements with less time.
If your partner goes inactive or decides to leave the rp - we will message you and you can decide if you’d like a new partner or you can just be removed from the current list.
Please do message us if your roommate has not replied to you to plot or if they are on the verge of going inactive, as we will take everything into consideration <3
If you got paired with another FC that you play, please send us a message and we’ll fix that for you right away!
If you cannot find your FC in the list, please let us know so we can fix that as well!
All pairs were made with a random generator!
Please be mindful that this list can and will change because of unfollows, activity checks, and/or new members being added into the group. So please make sure to like this notice so you can keep track of things :)
If you’re reading this list, go ahead and reach out to your partner! Please do not wait to for them to reach out to you.
Please like this notice so we know you’re all up to date! :)
* Bold means waiting for account Strike through means account was unfollowed in activity check. Will be removed 24 hours after activity check.

Oscars 2020 : Choix et prédictions
La 92e cérémonie des Oscars, sans animateur encore une fois cette année, aura lieu ce dimanche 9 février. Comme le veut la tradition, voici mes choix et mes prédictions dans chacune des catégories principales.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR FILM Ford v Ferrari The Irishman Jojo Rabbit Joker Little Women Marriage Story 1917 Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood Parasite
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE RÉALISATION
Quentin Tarantino, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood Martin Scorsese, The Irishman Bong Joon-ho, Parasite Todd Phillips, Joker Sam Mendes, 1917
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR ACTEUR
Antonio Banderas, Pain and Glory Leonardo DiCaprio, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood Adam Driver, Marriage Story Joaquin Phoenix, Joker Jonathan Pryce, The Two Popes
Choix et prédiction : Joaquin Phoenix est probablement le meilleur acteur de sa génération, et avec The Master et You Were Never Really Here, sa performance dans Joker forme une troublante trilogie.
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE ACTRICE
Cynthia Erivo, Harriet Scarlett Johansson, Marriage Story Saoirse Ronan, Little Women Charlize Theron, Bombshell Renee Zellweger, Judy
Choix : Scarlett Johansson, criante de vérité dans Marriage Story.
Prédiction : Renee Zellwegger dans Judy. C’est toujours payant d’incarner une personnalité réelle.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR ACTEUR DE SOUTIEN
Tom Hanks, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Anthony Hopkins, The Two Popes Al Pacino, The Irishman Joe Pesci, The Irishman Brad Pitt, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood
Choix et prédiction : Brad Pitt, Movie Star avec des majuscules, incroyablement charismatique dans le film de Tarantino.
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE ACTRICE DE SOUTIEN
Kathy Bates, Richard Jewell Laura Dern, Marriage Story Scarlett Johannson, Jojo Rabbit Florence Pugh, Little Women Margot Robbie, Bombshell
Choix et prédiction : Qui n’adore pas Laura Dern? Et ce sera peut-être la seule façon de récompenser cet excellent film qu’est Marriage Story.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR SCÉNARIO ORIGINAL
Knives Out, Rian Johnson Marriage Story, Noah Baumbach 1917, Sam Mendes and Krysty Wilson-Cairns Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino Parasite, Bong Joon-ho, Jin Won Han
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE ADAPTATION
The Irishman, Steven Zaillian Jojo Rabbit, Taika Waititi Joker, Todd Phillips, Scott Silver Little Women, Greta Gerwig The Two Popes, Anthony McCarten
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE DIRECTION PHOTO
The Irishman, Rodrigo Prieto Joker, Lawrence Sher The Lighthouse, Jarin Blaschke 1917, Roger Deakins Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Robert Richardson Choix :  Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, un plaisir visuel de tous les instants.
Prédiction : 1917 pour le gros flex de Roger Deakins, comme dirait mon ami Yannick. Gagnant du prix de l’ASC.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR MONTAGE
Ford v Ferrari, Michael McCusker, Andrew Buckland The Irishman, Thelma Schoonmaker Jojo Rabbit, Tom Eagles Joker, Jeff Groth Parasite, Jinmo Yang
Choix : The Irishman, car  Thelma Schoonmaker parvient à rendre un film de 3 h 30 toujours captivant, sans longueurs.
Prédiction : Parasite, car il a gagné le prix ACE Eddie.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR MONTAGE SONORE
Ford v Ferrari, Don Sylvester Joker, Alan Robert Murray 1917, Oliver Tarney, Rachel Tate Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Wylie Stateman Star Wars: The Rise of SkyWalker, Matthew Wood, David Acord
MEILLEUR MIX SONORE Ad Astra Ford v Ferrari Joker 1917 Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood Choix : Ford v Ferrari. Prédiction : 1917.
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE DIRECTION ARTISTIQUE
The Irishman, Bob Shaw and Regina Graves Jojo Rabbit, Ra Vincent and Nora Sopkova 1917, Dennis Gassner and Lee Sandales Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Barbara Ling and Nancy Haigh Parasite, Lee Ha-Jun and Cho Won Woo, Han Ga Ram, and Cho Hee
Choix et prédiction : Je vais y aller pour la reconstitution d’époque, les décors de western, Spahn Ranch dans Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, mais 1917 pourrait rafler ce prix également. Parasite aussi serait plausible.
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE MUSIQUE ORIGINALE
Joker, Hildur Guðnadóttir Little Women, Alexandre Desplat Marriage Story,Randy Newman 1917, Thomas Newman Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, John Williams
Choix et prédiction : Joker et le sinistre violoncelle de Hildur Guðnadóttir, qui contribue grandement à l’atmosphère du film.
Tumblr media
MEILLEURE CHANSON ORIGINALE
I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away,  Toy Story 4 I’m Gonna Love Me Again, Rocketman I’m Standing With You, Breakthrough Into the Unknown, Frozen 2 Stand Up, Harriet
Choix : Je n’ai pas encore vu Frozen 2, mais je suis obsédé par Into the Unknown telle que chantée par Idina Menzel.
Prédiction : Difficile de résister à remettre un prix à Elton John pour I’m Gonna Love Me Again!
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR MAQUILLAGE ET MEILLEURE COIFFURE
Bombshell Joker Judy Maleficent: Mistress of Evil 1917
Choix et prédiction : Joker peut-être? Ou est-ce trop facile d’associer ce film au maquillage?
Tumblr media
MEILLEURS COSTUMES
The Irishman, Sandy Powell, Christopher Peterson Jojo Rabbit, Mayes C. Rubeo Joker, Mark Bridges Little Women, Jacqueline Durran Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Arianne Phillips
Choix et prédiction : Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, car les films d’époque sont souvent récompensés pour leurs costumes, et le travail de la designer est particulièrement inspiré dans le film de Tarantino.
Tumblr media
MEILLEURS EFFETS VISUELS
Avengers Endgame The Irishman 1917 The Lion King Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Choix : Avengers Endgame, un quasi oublié des Oscars. On sous-estime l’exploit qu’est la culmination de l’Infinity Saga, notamment au niveau des effets visuels.
Prédiction : 1917. La prédiction facile pour la majorité des catégories.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR FILM INTERNATIONAL
Corpus Christi, Jan Komasa Honeyland, Tamara Kotevska, Ljubo Stefanov Les Misérables, Ladj Ly Douleur et gloire, Pedro Almodovar Parasite, Bong Joon Ho
Choix et prédiction : Parasite. La catégorie la plus facile à prédire de la soirée, avec raison. Un chef-d’œuvre, tout simplement.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR FILM D’ANIMATION
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Dean DeBlois J'ai perdu mon corps, Jeremy Clapin Klaus, Sergio Pablos Missing Link, Chris Butler Toy Story 4,  Josh Cooley
Prédiction :  Je n’en ai vu aucun. Je vais dire Toy Story 4. Comme ça.
MEILLEUR COURT MÉTRAGE D’ANIMATION
Dcera, Daria Kashcheeva Hair Love, Matthew A. Cherry Kitbull, Rosana Sullivan Memorable, Bruno Collet Sister, Siqi Song
Prédiction : Je n’en ai vu aucun. Je vais dire Hair Love. Comme ça.
Tumblr media
MEILLEUR DOCUMENTAIRE
American Factory, Julia Rieichert, Steven Bognar The Cave, Feras Fayyad The Edge of Democracy, Petra Costa For Sama, Waad Al-Kateab, Edward Watts Honeyland, Tamara Kotevska, Ljubo Stefanov
Prédiction : Paraît que For Sama est exceptionnel.
MEILLEUR COURT MÉTRAGE DOCUMENTAIRE
In the Absence Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone, Carol Dysinger Life Overtakes Me, Kristine Samuelson, John Haptas St. Louis Superman Walk Run Cha-Cha, Laura Nix
Prédiction : Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone. Le titre m’intrigue.

Scott-Lee
Travis Scott (55) - Liberty Lee (54) - Nicholas Scott-Lee (23)
At university: Hanna Scott-Lee (25)
Well, maybe it wasn't too surprising that some of those BFF's would turned into... more. Now, Travis and Liberty have spent the last decades raising their children and working to reach almost the top of their careers. These two nerds have definitely brought up two kids who know how to read a book - but even though Hanna is off to university she seems more interested in the ways of the heart, and young Nicholas he dreams of one day having a family of his own.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Travis Scott
Travis chose to focus his efforts on e-gaming, and he's really good at it. But now, he can tell that his mind isn't as fast as it used to be. Maybe he should join his wife in working out and see if that can help?
Otherwise, these last decades have been good to Travis. Even if he did feel that he and Summer sure had something, he is glad she made the choice for them and lived her own life. Because he has to be honest - he and Liberty has had the most amazing life together, and he can't wait to spend a few years, once the kids have moved out, alone with her again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Liberty Lee
Still a geek, still a nerd - still an astronaut! Liberty has always enjoyed exploring and learning more.
She and Travis weren’t initially a perfect match. She knew Summer had a bit of a crush on him, and she was never interested in getting tangled up in anything. However, something had grown between them during the late nights when he was programming, and she was up reading. And then, when Summer found love and moved, it just seemed to happen naturally. Now, they have been married for over 30 years - and brought up two kids as well!
And her nerdy reading has been paired with a lot of physical activity, to make sure she can do her job as an astronaut. She's glad to notice that Nicholas too seems to enjoy spending time at the gym, even though she has a feeling that's mainly because his friend Jamie goes there a lot. Well, it's better than him just spending his days in their house.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nicholas Scott-Lee
Nicholas has been thinking about going to university, but at the same time he just enjoys being at home. School was never really his thing, even though he managed just fine. Now, he thinks it's great to hang with Jamie (even though he just wants to go to the gym) or just be at home, reading and playing games. He also wants to start dating seriously - but maybe he's too young to think about starting a family already? He just knows that he has always enjoyed spending time with his own, and dreams of creating that for a wife and children of his own.

Here we are once again, on the eve of the Oscar nomination announcement. Tomorrow morning we will discover who has received Hollywood's most prestigious honors at the 92nd annual ceremony. Some categories, like Best Director, are extremely difficult to guess accurately. A few predictions may seem like dark horses, but I figured I would go with my gut rather than choose some of the more obvious possibilities. (Particular apologies to Zhao Shuzhen from The Farewell, since I don't expect her to be recognized by the Academy; if she is nominated, I'll be overjoyed!) Also, FYI: I don’t predict the three short film categories at this stage since I never have any clue about those until after the nominations come out. Here are my picks:

The Nerd Party’s Top Ten Films of the Decade
To celebrate the end of the decade, the members of The Nerd Party were asked to select their favorite films from 2010-2019. The votes have been counted and verified and here are the results:
Tumblr media
10. Inception (2010) / Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (2018)
It was a tie for tenth place with Christopher Nolan’s decade-defining blockbuster (everyone was using that Inception horn in their trailers) and The Nerd Party’s top Film of 2018: Into The Spider-Verse.
Tumblr media
9. The Social Network (2010)
When it was announced that David Fincher was going to direct a movie about Facebook, the internet scoffed. The end result turned out to be one of the most important and defining films of the decade that has even more punch today.
Tumblr media
8. Before Midnight (2013)
The final entry to an incredible trilogy turned out not to be Rise Of Skywalker but Richard Linklater’s conclusion to the Before Trilogy. But is it really the end? We’ll find out in 2023.
Tumblr media
7. Under the Skin (2014)
The highest-rated A24 film on the list, Scarlett Johansson was a world away from the MCU as she drove around Glasgow in a white transit van picking up men for mysterious and nefarious purposes in this unique science fiction film.
Tumblr media
6. La La Land (2017)
The best original musical of the last ten years (sorry The Greatest Showman), it cemented Damian Chazelle’s position as one of Hollywood’s hottest directors and was responsible for the most infamous moment of the decade when it lost the Best Picture Oscar to Moonlight...
Tumblr media
5. Interstellar (2014)
Christopher Nolan is the only director to have two films on this list with his highest entry being his science-fiction epic that rode the crest of the wave of the McConnaisance.
Tumblr media
4. The Avengers (2012)
Despite dominating the box office charts for the entire decade, the only entry from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to make it onto our list was this original team-up movie that made way for the most successful movie of all time.
Tumblr media
3. Mad Max: Fury Road
Arguably the best pure action film of the last ten years. Well, certainly in the minds of The Nerd Party, as it was the film which featured on the most lists across the group.
Tumblr media
2. Skyfall (2012)
The high point of Daniel Craig’s run as Bond… until No Time to Die at least. It was referential to the franchise but also delivered in terms of action and spectacle. Plus, an absolute banger of a theme song from Adele.
Tumblr media
1. Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Well, who would have thought that a sequel that no one was screaming out for, to a 35-year-old science-fiction film that flopped at the box office would take the top spot on The Nerd Party’s list? BR2049 was simply a stunning piece of filmmaking that built on Ridley Scott’s original world and left us wanting more. And it finally bagged Roger Deakins an overdue Oscar for cinematography!
Make sure to listen to the 200th episode of The Nerd Party’s show Filibuster and hear the hosts Dallas, Kim, and Lee discuss the above list, their own personal lists, as well as review Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Remedial Awards, 2019
It’s time again for the Remedial Awards! I have watched more than 70 feature films released in 2019, 29 of which have been nominated for one or more Academy Awards (33 narrative feature films have been nominated for Oscars this year). Not that many will read this anyway, but I want to recognize that I am just another in a long list of white men who have weighed in on film this year (and every year since film was first developed), and have no “buts” to express about it: I dream of a world where we’re given colour in the Best Actor list and where women are nominated for Best Director, and the prevalence and dominance of the white male voice is a major contributing factor to the continuing lack of diversity in Hollywood.
Below, find my lists for most every feature category, ranked in order of my own preference. Those left out by the Academy that I believe deserved nominations are ranked and crossed out, while those that were nominated and (in my opinion) should not have been, are ranked below a stroke. I have not included Razzies this year, but know that I absolutely detested Joker. My largely uninformed prediction for the winner of each category will be marked with an asterisk.
