it was time to go to sleep, and you were almost there. with heavy eyes closing and a tired body lying on the bed with your favorite sleeping blanket, comfortable enough to switch off quickly, you could feel dada choso behind you snoring softly while he had one hand caressing your hair. everything fine, good and very okay.

until you opened your eyes again.

everything seemed calm around, but in your head things were starting to speed and speed up, breathing was becoming more difficult and your body felt frozen in place, somehow everything started to go wrong.

it felt like everything was going to fall apart and you were no longer safe. you were scared, terrified, unable to do anything but cry.

how did you get there?

oblivious to everything around and deep in your mind, you felt something in your hair, opening your eyes wide with fright, freezing immediately, ready to panic, but;

"ey, i'm here, i'm here-" choso's voice sounded kinda far away, but you could see him above you, with a worried face, checking you from head to toe. and as soon as you recognized him, he sank you into his chest, hands on your hair and back, trying to calm you down with a gentle sway. "shh, shh, dada's here..."

so a time of silence lasted only with your sniffles in the background, muffled against him, and he reminded you to breathe over and over again in a soft voice, making an example of.

"can you tell dada?" his voice sounded low, his arms were still around you, tightly, silently trying to remind you that you were safe there. he didn't expect you to speak, to be honest he understood your moment, but choso didn't stop trying, in the hope of helping you.

you looked at him, clutching his clothes as if they were your favorite sleeping blanket, not knowing how to answer properly. "was... afraid." you muttered.

"keep going..." he said, and you shook your head, trying to use your words; "-was bad, and didn't want to get out of head and got worse!" you slightly trembled in his arms, a sob caught at the top of your throat. "s-scary!"

"i know, i know, my sweetheart..." choso rested his cheek on your head, closing eyes because i knew how scary it was, how it felt to wake up terrified and feeling so insecure and alone. how it formed a small void inside, making it difficult to think of anything good. "-think about my voice, hm? you like dada's voice?"

you nodded, and he could smile at the corner of his lips, slightly. "oh, and you like your blanket, don't you?" again you nodded. "and we're right here, right? with you." he stretched a little to pick up the little blanket, handing it to you. "you are not alone." he murmured. "when you're scared, remember this."

choso took the risk of trying to put you to bed again, but still close to you, leaning on his elbow and running his hand through your hair. "and trying to breathe..."

"...can dada make these bad thoughts disappear forever?" you pouted.

he smiled sadly. "no... but maybe, if i kiss your forehead every night, i can help, what do you think, hm?" you nodded, grabbing your blanket, eyes heavy.

"and hug you tight tight!~"

now you didn’t bite everyone you only likes biting geto you didn’t know why you just knew he never got mad when you did and he never noticed it

geto was simply reading he loved reading especially on days like this where your behaving and just playing

you messed with his hands a lot and usually bit him when that happened

you brought his hand to your mouth giving him a little nip on the side of his hand

he looked down at you, your eyes looking up at him with a small little smile

he gently reprimanded down at you, you frowned a little bit like you always did

geto sighed heavily closing his book softly he never yelled or shouted at you he was never aggressive either

“do we need to get you a pacifier? or some teethers?”

you looked interested now in the sudden suggestion

“dada i wanna a paci…”

you said trailing off a little bit geto smiled he knew the biting wasn’t out of malice more curiosity and simply needed something to teethe on

geto chuckled he knew mahito was out right now and he gave him a quick call

after a few rings an annoyed mahito picks up

“yes?”

geto looked down at you

“on your way back i need you to get something…”

“yeah what?” mahito responded

“just go find a local grocery find a pacifier and maybe some of those baby teething toys”

geto said bluntly before hanging up

around an hour later mahito shows up and drops the bag in front of geto with a smile

“here ya are”

he said looking down at me for a moment before heading off

geto sat you up in his lap opening the bag and getting the items out a basic green pacifier first then a textured teether that rattled and one that was one of the water filled ones

your eyes were wide and clapped in excitement

“dada look”

you said holding the teether up by his face

“i know little one you can chew on that instead of daddy’s arms and hands”

he said with a chuckle popping the green pacifier into your mouth gently then giving your forehead a kiss

☆ they're all so silly... baby coded... and OH SO fucked up... Poor guys.

☆ to start off with an odd one I think Ichiji would be a really good CG? He's stern don't get me wrong but like,,, he'd care.

☆ at the very least he'd be cool with it, and drive ppl places if they wanted :}

☆yuuji! Our main character <3 and oh so traumatized...

☆he's for sure a regressor and he needs it so bad. probably older ages, 5-7?

☆very cheerful kiddo mostly, but when he has a bad drop he has a BAD drop. Tears for hrs and even after he'd be shakey...

☆ when he's feeling better he likes playing w/blocks and toy cars, usually together. He builds rase courses for the cars <3

☆ would play nice with others & is always up to sharing his race courses if someone wants to race their horse, dino, etc. or if they want to play an entirely different game!

☆actually has like- zero gear at all. Two cars (one orange and one blue :}), comfy sweatpants and a hoodie, and a set of blocks is all he has (someone will probably rectify that soon, lol)

☆ there isn't a little at jujutsu tech that doesn't like colouring, so there's a small box full of art supplies and colouring books in a closet somewhere.

☆the regressors have a sort of code of honor between themselves: 1. never tattle on someone if they're trying to regress without a cg, 2. letting someone know you regress is a job for you and you alone, nobody else gets to spill the beans and 3. if you find little gear, return it DISCREETLY and don't make a big deal out of it.

☆not the healthiest, but regressing means showing weakness/vulnerability, and most sorcerers are explicitly conditioned against that.

☆it's sort of an open secret at this point, but nobody bothers anyone hasn't outright said 'hey, I regress and I'd appreciate some company' about it.

☆maki... caregiver/not that invested tbh. tried age dreaming a few times but didn't like it. likes giving tours (is that the word?) of things, talking abt some item or space like you've never seen it before.

☆panda... I'm not 100% that he'd have the capacity for regression, and even then I'm not sure he would even need it. would be a Great caregiver though. pretty lenient, chill... candy before supper etc.

☆yuuta... the poor guy. I think he's a regressor only, but doesn't actually do it that much. Maybe he slips just a little and doesn't even notice. regresses when tired (or more accurately, regresses when he has a break from things to be doing. the exhaustion hits him all at once like a wave).

Short story : A Day with Nanami

It was a crisp Saturday morning, and the sun had just begun to peek through the curtains of the cozy apartment Nanami Kento shared with his little one. Today was a special day, a day free from work, a day dedicated solely to spending time with his beloved !

Nanami gently roused his little one from sleep, his voice a soft whisper, "Good morning, sunshine. Time to wake up"

The sleepy eyes blinked open, and a smile spread across the age regressed one face's "Gwood mowning, dada..."

After a nutritious breakfast of oatmeal topped with fresh fruits, prepared with care by Kento, the two set off for their morning walk in the nearby park. The crisp air and vibrant fall colors brought a sense of calm and joy

"Look, Papa ! A squiwwel!" you exclaimed, pointing excitedly

Nanami chuckled. "Yes, it's gathering acorns for the winter. Just like how we prepare for our day"

Sooo I got got by the writers curse yet again (*´-`) and I was unfortunately very sick the week before finals (ToT) but thankfully it passed (this was supposed to go out way earlier so im sorry for that) but anyways I've decided to write some little itadori headcannons!!! (*^_^*) I hope you enjoy!

🌙 Bed Time💤

⭐️ He’s one of the most energetic littles of all the Regressors at jujutsu tech so he would definitely be challenging to be put to bed or laid down for a nap if you don't know what your doing

💫 Nanami and Gojo always have the most luck with putting him to bed

⭐️ “But nanamiiii/gojooo im not tired…” is a regular thing for them to hear

💫 yuji isn't the type of little to cry about going to bed unless he’s especially upset or something wrong

⭐️ Yuji would definitely pout and whine but he would never throw a tantrum about sleeping usually

💫 He always whines that he’s not tired but as soon as someone reads him a story he’s sleep before they can finish it

⭐️ If he doesn't have his paci in his mouth he’ll suck on his thumb instead while being all cozy and curled up in his bed

💫 After Yuji goes to sleep Nanami or Gojo always takes his thumb out of his mouth and replaces it with a paci before kissing him on his forehead and wishing him goodnight even if he cant hear it through his light snores

⭐️ Yuji is a very heavy sleeper

💫 He could sleep through a curse apocalypse, the end of the world, and several car crashes

⭐️ But lets just hope no one wakes him up before he’s ready to be awake because he gets really fussy

💫 It doesn't last very long and all you have to do is distract him but when it does happen its bad

⭐️ If you wake him up too early there just might be tears, maybe more than just a few…

💫 But regardless Nanami and Gojo always knows how to fix him right up and wipe those tears away!

⭐️ He has so many super hero pajamas but his all time favorite ones are his Spiderman ones. He wears them almost every night

💫 Surprisingly little Yuji likes to have a routine for his bedtime

⭐️ Nanami loves the fact he likes having routine as much as him and it makes bedtime much much easier for the both of them

💫 Gojo doesn't mind the bedtime schedule, he finds it refreshing and calming he also finds that bedtime is easier with a routine

💫 Most times his bedtime routine is this

🌙 Playtime!! To help him get rid of his excess energy and make him more sleepy and also to let him have a bit more fun before its time to sleep

💤 Next is…

🌙 Picking out his pajamas! He loves this part of his nighttime routine, looking at his vast collection of superhero and cute boyish pajamas

💤 Then its…

🌙 Bath time! To wash off all the icky germs of the day so he's nice and clean and all ready for bed

💤 Almost time for bed so now lets…

🌙 Get a drink! Most times he goes with angel milk because its comforting and yummy with a slight sweetness but he also likes to have chocolate milk before bed

💤 And finally…

🌙 Story time! Before Nanami/Gojo reads for him they make sure he’s all comfy and cozy in bed. They pick one of the books from the mini library near his bed and read him a story until he falls asleep. His light snoring puts his caregiver at ease and they kiss his forehead and leave but not before turning the dim lights all the way off so Yuji can get all the sleep he needs

⭐️ “Goodnight little sunshine” Nanami or Gojo would whisper to him once he’s off the dream land

💫 He definitely has a tiger plush he cannot go to sleep without

⭐️ If yuji loses the plush before bedtime someone has to go on a wild goose chase to find it but it always ends up being in the most obvious or random places

💫 One time Megumi had to look for the plush and it was in the bath tub. What was it doing there? No one knows

⭐️ When all the first years are little gojo lets them have sleepovers. Those are the littles favorite nights especially Yuji

"what do you think? did you like it?" he sat down in front of you, smiling gently as he looked at you waiting for an answer, even though your face was clearly delighted. you nodded, softly thanking him as he had taught you, but then a noise comes from your belly, and now your face is all red.

"looks like someone's hungry." yuuta lets out a light giggle, finding it cute, leaning to pick up the hashi and the spoon so he can feed you. "so let's eat, what do you want first? i like the pandas!" he said softly.

you pointed and soon he was there, picking it up to take it to your mouth, one hand holding the spoon down so it wouldn't fall or get you dirty. he was always patient, even if you ate slowly, he didn't mind, and always said that you should chew well and calmly.

"very good." he says pleased when you eat another spoonful, but you're now a little sad because you're devouring the little yummy octopuses, wich does not go unnoticed by him. "oh, what's wrong? is something burnt?" he asks worriedly.

you continue chewing, a slight pout on your lips as you lightly nods negatively. "eating everything..." you say it with your mouth full, and soon you won't have any more bunnies or vegetable corals for yourself.

yuuta understands quickly, tilting his head and letting out a soft laugh that kinda makes his eyes close. "oh, don't worry! i'll make other cute animals at snack time, and at dinner time too, and at every meal possible!" he smiles at you, dumbfounded by your cuteness.

and that's enough, you feel better, and back to eat well again until you empty your plate and receive his praises. so just as he promised, at snack time you received another decorated little plate, and at dinner another, and even your bottle had a happy cute face now.

a pretty straightforward caregiver, he would work best with regressors that prefer consistent routines.

just to get this out of the way- nanami is instincitvely super protective of those younger than him, whether physically or mentally. a tame example would be walking together and as he listens to you ramble he'd silently brings his hand out to stop you from stepping in a puddle. on the more extreme situations he will always put himself between you and danger, turning into an impenetrable fortress of strength and might.

he is extremely blunt when critiquing things that you present him as it can be hard for him to turn off the "mentor" switch. you'd be proudly showing off your skills in the hopes of receiving compliemnts and he'd lecture you on the ways your form could improve.

he prefers to be followed without much question or hassle. i would think that his caregiving style is very similar to his teaching (despite not being a teacher), and that he calls the shots but only to ensure your safety and well-being.

would understand regression from a logical standpoint rather than how it would feel to experience it personally. he'd do his best to provide everything you need to have a safe and comfortable experience, but lack the warmth of cooing you with soft words or bundling you in his arms.

a man of very few words, the majority of his caregiving would be in his own head. the two of you would be somewhere and he'd nod along while planning a thousand different bullet points to your schedules, from the outfits that the two of you would be wearing to the next formal to tomorrow's breakfast and whether he'll pick it up or have it made in the morning.

his main form of affection is including you into his routines. in the morning he'd let you help him fix his tie while he adjusts your outfit to perfection, or leaving you notes in your lunch to have a good day with a cute drawing of your favorite animal.

his second form of affection is noticing. he may not verbalize it but you bet your favorite snacks and drinks will always be restocked, your favorite show will always be favorited on your shared streaming sites and your preferred regression items always cleaned and ready for use.

when you have a particularly hard day he'll be waiting at the door with a soft grunt to your presence, carrying armfuls of flowers and plush toys.

if it could be summarized in a form of love language nanami is the ultimate caregiver for acts of service. making sure to make an extra cup of coffee/tea/warm drink next to his in the morning to silently putting on your favorite music to play throughout the house to make chores go by a little easier, it comes as second nature to him and you'd often wonder how he's able to perform such thoughtful feats mindlessly without ever asking or mentioning it to him.

because you'd never have to ask, once he undestood what it meant to be your caregiver you've become another meaningful addition to his secure and comfortable life and he wouldn't have it any other way.

“dada, i help?” you cooed gently in a small voice starting to mess with the ear gauges that we’re currently being cleaned while he cleaned his ears

“no sweetheart daddy do…i’m sorry” he gently moved your hand away from the jewelry and returned to the task with a soft sigh he was a busy and stressed out man for sure

you pouted gently up at him hoping he’d change his mind but alas he continued to work on his ears not paying you a lick of attention

“no dada i help…” you cooed again gently touching the jewelry again, suguru didn’t hear you this time but when you took the jewelry and tried to put it in his ear he grabbed your wrist gently

“little one i told you no…” he said in a darker more angry-ish tone not yelling or even raising his voice just a warning

your little brain didn’t know what you did wrong you gently moved your hand back and started sniffling and your little lip quivered as the tears started to roll down your face, was he mad? were you gonna get in trouble?

suguru noticed a few seconds later hearing the little whimpers he pouted a little bit before finishing the cleaning and picked your crying form up holding you to his chest shushing you gently

“shhh shh, i’m sorry princess i’m not mad…” he said gently running his fingers through your hair as he comforted you, he realized you probably didn’t understand what you even did wrong

“daddy loves when you try and help but when i have to clean my earrings i have to do it by myself okay?” he said still rocking you with a delicate and comforting touch

you nodded gently understanding a bit more what you did wrong and how you probably should’ve let him do it

as your soft cries slowed suguru’s jewelry was done and ready to be put back, he chuckled gently at your puffy little face with the rosey cheeks he thought it was adorable how worked up you could get over something so little

“princess do you wanna help me put my earrings back in?” he asked holding the wooden jewelry up to you and bending down slightly so you could slip it in his ear

you gave a small giggled slipping the gauges back into his ear clapping as you finished the task

“good job little one” he said gently smiling down at your happy little face which was in tears minutes ago
