My new hyperfixation is Lee Do Hyun (not surprised bcuz exhuma 😞👌👌🥵)

So it was a given that i'd checked out his other works, and now I'll give each of his dramas that I've seen my personal rating ^^

- 18 again - 7/10 ~ watched this one with my mom, immediately knew it was based on 17 again with zac Efron (god I'm old TT), had great laughs and tons of funs, i knew kim haneul and yoon sang hyun from before, he was super cute and his acting was solid.

- death's game - 10/10 ~ very good plot, his episode was also very good, amazing setting and also seo in guk??? God he broke my heart in this

- the glory - 1000/10 ~ I CANNOT EXPRESS IT WITH MY WORDS HOW MUCH GOOD THIS ONE WAS!!!! I honestly had heard its name but i was busy at the time the hype for it was going on (I'm not a big kdrama watcher) anyways started watching it and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! like not only he was great in it but the other??? Song hye kyu and lim jiyeon!!! My goddesses!!! They slayed every scene!! Tbh everyone were fantastic in it. Like I see myself to go back and rewatch it.

- melancholia - 4/10 ~ I'm not sure how to put it but this one was just not for me, again he did a good job on it, i liked some of the characters like the professor and si wan, it did get slightly more talorable by episode 8 but... i just didn't really connected to it. I kinda hate student- teacher romantic love and the chemistry between the leads were a bit off and honestly i would've liked it better if they'd decided to ditch the romance plot and make it platonic. (I liked the found family trope)

- the good bad mother - 8.5/10 ~ this mf reaally went all in!!! Like he really did it all for this drama. Loved a lot of scenes, him and the twins were so cute, him and mi-joo? Chef's kiss!! Amazing chemistry ❤️❤️❤️ but i just hated the mother's character and it's cruel of me but i was kinda glad for her ending, also too much heartbreak and frustrating scenes.

-sweet home- watched all the seaons and boy we had another umbrella academy/game of thrones plot fuckery 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Season 1 - 10000/10 ~ i loved every-single-episode!! Fantastic actings, very very good plot, enjoyable characters, good soundtracks. His character??? One of his bests!!! Which is awesome cuz from what i know season one was from his earlier works. His chemistry between lee si yeong and song kang??? My goddddd

Season 2 - 3/10 despite knowing that he was not in it i watched it anyway cuz i'd ended up immersed with the whole thing not just his character(same with glory ig) and it was... yeah not good at all, i think the problem was the gap between the seasons (probably covid 19 was the factor) but yeah they had all this time to work on it but they just blew it

Season 3 - 5/10 bittersweet and very very rushed ending, so many unanswered questions and honestly i felt empty after i finished it. But he was super hot and again his chemistry with song kang and min si is top tier. (I'm thinking of reading the manhwa to heal my soul cuz I've heard it was way more better and different)

I haven't watched youth of may and i probably won't cuz it was unfortunately heavily spoiled for me so I'll put it away for now, also for some reason i ended up watching a lot of tik tok edits of it XD. (Aaand I'm kind of tired of romance dramas)

my thoughts on the cast of single’s inferno

watched this reality show and now it has invaded my thoughts 24/7. will my thoughts change as new episodes come out? probably, but right now I got some strong feelings.

ladies first (lets start on a good note)

jiyeon: 6/10. I find her the cookie cutter girl next door ideal type. apart from her looks fitting the Korean standard so does her attitude. she is kind of boring and I did get annoyed with her when she was acting brand new with cooking/washing dishes in the first episode. gave her two points because this girl is being terrorized by sehoon creepy ass and also her studying neuroscience (us health science baddies need to stick together).

sumin: 7/10. She cute cute. looks like she writes you good luck sticky notes and puts it on your desk. idk what she finds in sehoon like homegirl that's the dude you attracted to?? she a little boring but I still give her points because she new and trying to figure things out. I think her and shihun would make a good couple idc idc

minji: 9/10. whew this woman is beautiful my gooooodddddd. deadass looked like a goddess walking down them rocky steps. quiet and I don’t really know her personality but from her little q&a with that ghoul sehoon I learned everything I need to know. overwatch, hiphop, and looks? your honor she is a dangerous one. only pitfall is she likes sehoon like why? his nose is not even that cute!

jia: 7/10. look I love me a good IT gurl, and jia is that. however, she kind of getting boring now. as a subscriber, jia from youtube is different from netflix jia. netflix jia is boring af like 1D personality boring. kind of tired of the giggles and the whispers of oppa sexy like the only time she looked alive was when hyungseung showed up. baby cut her screen time down its getting repetitive. took off some points from her because of her history of having some guilt shaming fatphobia in her old videos (we do not support that over here) but I also do not expect anything else from her, plus she is an expert flirter. 

**and before you jia shooters come out, relax, no one dogging on your ‘girl give us nothing’ woman of the month chill she does not know you.go touch some grass she is not the girl boss y’all make her out to be

yewon: 10000/10. this my baby yall she deserves the world. how she flirts resonates with me and every time she talks or is even on the screen she looks so warm and everyone around her is smiling. tbh how she flirts is also how I flirt and I love it that she makes the guys she talks to laugh and genuinely smile. bitch yewon deserves happiness. I would write this woman a love letter. like do you know how hard it is to flirt with a guy and actually have a genuine conversation at the same time? this woman mastered that! let me learn from you

soyeon: 20/10. a bad bitch. she literally is an all-rounder on that island sports, looks, taste, etc. she makes the everyone laugh and feel comfortable too we love to see that. she is the mother figure and generally cares for everyone on that island which can be confused with her actually liking someone (cough cough sehoon cough cough) but I think she is now learning that if you like someone it is ok to put them ahead of anyone else's feelings and to be out there with her feelings which is something I also need to learn too so yeah she exquisite

now to the men (gurl get a drink because wheeeewww)

hyeongjoong: 7/10. I like him. he a good himbo. he is also quiet and I like it when my men know when to stfu. wish he would actually let jia go and branch out to talking with the other girls. deadass he has good chemistry with soyeon and he actually seems to have good conversations with her likeeeee my dude open your eyes and start playing the game! he looks like a sad lap dog that waits for jia’s beck and call while she frolics freely meeting other guys like he just looks sad lmaoo. 

(not bashing jia, i’m bashing hyeongjoong because i also talk to multiple guys at once. don’t put all your eggs in one basket ladies or you will look sad like hyeongjoong)

shihun: 5/10. omg at first I thought he was trash. the whole pale and pure archetype he kept on reiterating was bs and he was just annoying every second. it was not until during his date with jia that I really saw his charm. I will die on this hill jia and him had the best chemistry out of all of her prospective matches and the only reason why she turned him down was because he was a scrawny weak looking man sorry lol he looked sad when following jia everywhere but he gets brownie points for actually sitting jia down and asking clearly whether she was into him or not and when she said no he said ok I won't bother you like okkkk effective communicator coming through. he would look good with sumin tbh.

junsik: 8/10. this man can cook and my ideal type is a chef! he is also quiet and you already know how I feel about those type of men. he does not really get enough screen time so idk his personality but he seems to get along with everyone and cracks jokes here and there so you know what he is my silent but deadly king. i'd call him daddy

jintaek: 5/10. liked him at first but he turned out to be an ugly grizzly bear that likes to play with woman's feelings especially my mom soyeon feelings. he is a sweet talker so he knows what to say and when to say it which yes it is charming but is also greasy. especially when he sat my homegirl down and told her to do better in showing her interest? byyyeee i would slap you across that ocean so fast you will be drowning all by yourself. the audacity. style 10/10 personality 5/10.

hyungseung: 9/10. listen I want this man to fertilize my eggs. shit I would be like jia too and have my eyes lighten back up too. especially when he was throwing those men outside of the ring idkr we love to see it. plus he a little shy BARK BARK. no matter what, him and yewon are THE COUPLE. that five min exchange they had had the most chemistry any couple has ever had on this show like my girl yewon had him grinning ear to ear, laughing like a giddy school girl, gazing at her unknowingly, AND telling the other contestants about her like he in lovveeee your honor! took one point off because he picked jia but tbh i only think it was because he knows jia the most right now but I hope when he comes back to the island he gives my girl yeawon the chance she deserves.

sehoon: NO/10. yeah no. where did they find this man from? what hole did he crawl out from?  he is a creep that won't leave jiyeon alone and it is concerning not cute. he can not take rejection well and i fear what he would have done in the real world if she rejected him then without all the cameras and contestants around. then he wanted to be upset when soyeon gave him the hard truth and idk if I was on the island I would have thrown him off a cliff. someone call the police on this man.

She has no desire to prove her ‘better self’ to her fellow Greek gods, whom half the time she acts estranged from, but Eris will always enjoy entertaining a stranger with an ear about wild tales she’s witnessed—or caused—over a fine cup of tea (in every form of the word). HISTORY: It would be reassuring to say she wasn’t a malicious god, but rather one ruled by chaos. That, however, would be just another ‘maybe’ to add to the Ancient Greek’s timeline endless list of uncertainties. History blurs many lines, and Eris is no exception to the wondrous ways of the universe that not even she could defy. Born from Nyx, mother of the night, feared by even the thunder god himself, while mortals babes suckled from the bosom of manna, Eris feasted on the festering wisps of strife—mortal and divine alike. From her cosmic cloud kingdom of stars and galaxies, the goddess dwelled, watching the world spin. When things seemed to be going well, too well, it was she that stepped in to cause great, glorious chaos. She was the puppeteer, and those beneath her were pretty little marionettes. It was Eris that caused the courageous hero to lose the war. That watched the ruler’s empire crumble to stone. The one that threw the golden apple and uprooted the doomed threads of love in Peleus and Thetis and laughed at the war that unfolded. This is how most would spin such a tale.

But the goddess remembers it far differently. She could not play victim, but nor would she prove guilty. Eris never thought herself the cause of the problem; she simply brought to light what was already there. Insecurity, doubt, contempt—all things that lay claim in the natural world, Eris has always viewed it as her job to free such emotions before they inevitably break from their cage. Eris nurtured the misfortune as people made fools of themself, however deep inside the goddess always wondered when someone would find the beauty in her divine persuasion. Could they not see the meaning in the chaos? Why couldn’t they see from the malice of her lustrous smoke breathed upon them like a rough wind, somewhere within a bough was bent to help them find stability again? Countries would remain unchanged and people would remain utterly ignorant of their own vices or the what could have been without her wicked strategies. It was harmony they craved, but without disharmony, they could not appreciate it.

Searching for someone to understand and reinforce her ideals, Eris left her domain for the mortal world. Upon an island whose origins she did not care about, the goddess one day wandered on an empty couch and began speaking to a divine woman known as Nut. Surprisingly, Eris found herself returning, fascinated by the woman’s wisdom and intelligence. Nut’s words opened Eris’ eyes to an existence beyond lustrous clouds and retribution. Slowly, the visits between her domain and the island lessened, with her stay in Mount Phoenix growing longer and longer. Eventually,  Eris moved to the island permanently, watching the world spin from a different perspective.

POWERS: Chaos is intangible, but for Eris it is a real thing that she can touch and control, like fine black smoke. Can cause confusion and chaos with a wave of her fingers, spoken word, or hex objects. Can also manifest objects out of her chaos, like Mary Poppins and her knapsack. The power of flight using her wings or she can evaporate at will. The goddess has no true physical form as an embodiment of chaos and offspring of the night, but she can take whatever form she pleases using typhokinetic shapeshifting, which can be used to fool others. Can sense the troubling things that plague someone. May form deals to cause discord, making promises sealed under a goddess’ mark. (Inspired by ‘Eris’ from Sinbad, the witch in ‘Snow White’, and Greek poets Homer and Hesiod.)

STRENGTHS: A very critical individual, Eris is good at envisioning something and making it come true, whether good or bad. Fashion, the goddess knows how to dress herself and others; the latter she loves to do at the expense of her wallet. Dancing; her strengths are in aerial and pole, both of which have strengthened her physically and helped her mentally.

WEAKNESSES: Her temper and quickness to lash out when she feels wronged; hint, do not call her a liar. A cynical person, she has a hard time believing when someone is telling the truth. The rest of the Greek Pantheon, but not in a good way, more of a slight inferiority complex to the Olympians; she never had a temple for herself, after all.
