"i'll just hold it over his dads head."

âthatâs what i hear is supposed to happen so hopefully thatâs how it goes. iâd hate for the pain to be something i remember.â
âIf it is. You could always hold it against him for the rest of his life.â Elijah teased. âIâm joking of course.â

"there's always that one percent that it doesn't cover. but i hope things go the way you planned them. it sucks when plans have to change."
cntrlsayler:
ânow that you said that youâre gonna end up knocked up at some point.â
âWell, letâs hope birth control stays on my side, and that doesnât happen.â

cntrlsayler:
âterrified, but ready for him to be here. i canât stand being pregnant, it sucks.â
âRemind me never to get pregnant because honestly it sounds horrible, and this just confirms that notion.â

âpreschool. i donât have much experience with kids any older than like, seven. and elementary schoolers drive me nuts so i went with something more my style. i worked at a daycare center through my last two years of high school and we had a lot of preschoolers there after they got out of school and i fell in love with them,â she said. âi canât deal with the gross factor. i would be a horrible doctor. iâm too big a baby for all that.â sayler nodded with a small smile. âthanks. me too. iâm hoping for painless, but i wouldnât count myself so lucky.â
âThatâs extremely admirable. Most people donât have patience for kids under the age of seven.â Elijah commented with a chuckle.  âI donât think I could handle preschool kids, or babies. Babies make me nervous.â They seemed so fragile to him. âI guess thereâs a reason not everyone is cut out to be a doctor, and the gross factor probably has something to do with that. âIâm sure after a few weeks of having him in your arms, youâll forget all about the pain, and any grossness that comes with childbirth.â

"i'm always tired. my boyfriend's mom is always like "the baby isn't even born yet how can you be tired all the time" but growing a human takes energy."
cntrlsayler:
âi think my cat has super powers,â she said out of the blue as she tapped her pencilâs eraser against her notebook. âlike, i keep the babyâs room closed all the time, but i always find gizmo in his crib. you think heâs like, a jedi ninja type cat and opens the door with his mind?â
brooke laughed at the other, shaking her head. âhonestly, sayler. i doubt that. maybe you just donât shut it all the way when you think you do. you have to be tired by that time, right?â she asked, suggesting something other than worldly powers.

âi could never be a doctor. being a teacher is stressful enough, i could never imagine being a doctor that like⌠heals and brings people back to life. the street cred would be lit, though,â she said. âi wanted everything completely natural. hospitals freak me out a little. but iâd be more comfortable in my own house, my own bed, my own surroundings. and the only hospital that takes my insurance has this policy that says if the babyâs head isnât out within five minutes of pushing then they do an episiotomy whether mom wants it or not. itâs pretty bullshit. so that really drove me away from having a hospital birth. iâll be damned if anybody tells me how i have to have my baby unless itâs an emergency c-section.â
âWhat grade do you teach?â Elijah asked with a soft smile. âYouâd basically be treated like a modern day god if you were able to heal and bring someone back to life. Maybe in another life I would have been a great doctor, but in this life iâm far more interested in starting a non-profit.â The ginger male shrugged. He listened carefully as she explained her reasoning behind wanting a home birth, though he knew he would never personally give birth, he admired her wanting to have the best for her son. âThatâs amazing. I donât know how many people who would fight for whatâs right for their child. I hope you have a quick, and safe delivery.â

âFor the longest time I wanted to be a doctor just because of that show, until my moms explained to me that some of the show might be scripted for dramatic effect.â Elijah chuckled. âWhy did you decide to go  with having a home birth? I mean I applaud you for going a non-traditional route, Iâm just curious.â
âi could never be a doctor. being a teacher is stressful enough, i could never imagine being a doctor that like... heals and brings people back to life. the street cred would be lit, though,â she said. âi wanted everything completely natural. hospitals freak me out a little. but iâd be more comfortable in my own house, my own bed, my own surroundings. and the only hospital that takes my insurance has this policy that says if the babyâs head isnât out within five minutes of pushing then they do an episiotomy whether mom wants it or not. itâs pretty bullshit. so that really drove me away from having a hospital birth. iâll be damned if anybody tells me how i have to have my baby unless itâs an emergency c-section.â

âThat sounds absolutely adorable to me. Does he cuddle with the baby all the time too? Iâm not too sure how heâs getting in the room, but it sounds to me that he has chosen the baby as his new best friend.â
âthe babyâs not here yet, but iâm sure heâll be attached. he likes to lay against my stomach. he like... plays with him. when he was kicking, gizmo would bat at my stomach because heâd get kicked. cutest think on earth.â

âI love âuntold stories of the erâ, when I in middle school I used to rush home after school just to watch it.â he confessed with a smile. âWow, you could literally go into labor right this second. Iâm sure youâll be a great mom.â
âsame. my parents told me i was gonna have nightmares cause i was kind of a hypochondriac,â she said. sayler nodded. âi sure could, iâm hoping itâs a smooth labor, but heâs my first, so i probably wonât have such luck. iâm having a home birth, so i know itâs gonna be rougher on me.â

âI would get bored out of my mind if I was stuck in my house all the time. I mean there are so many cute boys and girls out there to kiss, and so many adventures to be had.â Sofia shrugged. âCall me dramatic but iâd rather choke.âÂ
âiâm pretty much a homebody. iâm not very mobile these days because itâs hard to get around, so i wouldnât mind it, but iâm sure iâd get tired of it eventually.â

âYou laughing until you give birth is a worthy of winning afv.â Elijah chuckled at the thought. âIf you donât mind me asking, how much longer until you welcome your little one to the world?â
âitâd be a great edition of âuntold stories of the erâ too,â she said with a small laugh. âi just hit forty weeks, so literally any time. i get more and more nervous as the days get closer.â

âWait, didnât the house in the disney movie end up turning on the family, and like locking them in their house? Being trapped in my house, and never being able to see the world is my biggest fear.â
âokay, good point. but i honestly wouldnât mind being trapped in my house. i could totally order postmates. i just wonât get a smart house named p.a.t.â
