tw: very slightly mention of a gambling addiction her father had, parental abuse and parental death. 

born in the slums of the south side to a young couple - her mother became sickly after giving birth, and died young, whereas her father had a gambling addiction and no sooner shipped his daughter off to live with her grandparents the second his wife had passed away.

at the age of seven, boreum's grandparents both passed away and she was left in the care of her father, who was extremely abusive mentally, physically and emotionally. 

it was during this time living with him that she had manifested the ability to create force fields, most likely spurred on by the desire to defend herself from her father when he was in a fit of rage.

bullied often during her school years, as her father constantly owed debts, and would show up during classes, begging her to give him money from her part-time jobs to repay his loans.

her father suddenly passed away when she was twenty-three years old, though the cause of death is unknown, it's said that he was mixed up with some criminals who didn't take debt loans lightly.

moved to her own apartment after her father's death, and got a full-time job at toast & coffee - she primarily works the nightshift, mostly as she's a pushover and accepts those shifts when others ask her to take them, and also because it's less busy in the evenings, so she feels a little more comfortable compared to the morning or afternoon rush.

stutters sometimes, and can be somewhat skittish around strangers, mostly as a result of her upbringing.

PRIMARY: FORCE FIELD GENERATION

boreum is able to create a wide, dome-like barrier that has a similar texture to that of glass. it can encompass both herself and others, aiding in nullifying and deflecting oncoming attacks.  limitations are reliant on boreum's stamina, tenacity, resoluteness, and disposition as well as her opponent's overall strength and fortitude. it cannot exceed more than an 10 foot radius and naturally, the force field will fade within 3-5 minutes, though the duration can be extended up to 10 minutes or shortened to 10 seconds based on the circumstances at hand. strength of the force field can also vary depending on the situation - as an example, if her desire to protect herself or someone else overrides her self-doubt, then the force field may strengthen in repelling and reflecting attacks, but if she is distracted or succumbs to self-consciousness that there is no use in fighting as her adversary will undoubtedly overcome her, then the force field will weaken and quickly shatter. the force fields she creates are by no means impenetrable, and can be shattered due to extreme force or other intense abilities.

SECONDARY:

INVISIBILITY this is a sporadic ability that only manifests in extreme circumstances, when boreum feels that her life is hanging in the balance, or she is under immense pressure or stress. she is able to render herself invisible to the naked eye, though this ability cannot last more than 2 minutes, and cannot be used on others. boreum cannot move while she is invisible, as this power can only be harnessed if she is absolutely still. if she moves even slightly, she will become visible again. though she is not able to be seen, those who harness detection abilities in any sense, even if it being a "sixth sense" so to speak, should be able to notice her presence.

KISS OF LIFE has me thinking about Natty, which has me thinking about Idol School, which has me discovering something in this performance of "Ah-Choo" from the show.

Does Jisun perform Yein's "I'm not good at cooking, but I'm working on it" line ...

... with the choreo changed from a FIGHTING! fist pump to ...

... double OKs?

It makes total sense because, as we all know, Jisun is a complete badass in the kitchen. Evidently, she's a complete badass on survival-show stages, too (if you watch her fancam, she does the normal choreo at rehearsal, keeping her plan secret until showtime). What a fun Easter egg! I'm sure someone must have noticed it before, but my mind is blown.
