Zombie Slayer Jinx saying she loves the apocalypse because she gets to blow everything up. No rules, no responsibilities, just her and her gun and the endless hordes of zombies to rip apart.

That’s what she tells everyone, at least.

And while it is mostly true- Jinx couldn’t be more thrilled at the fact she can cause chaos with little repercussions- on a deeper, more personal level, she doesn’t massacre hordes simply because it’s fun.

The apocalypse took everything from her.

On outbreak night, it claimed Vi. A week later, it took her best friend Lux. And a month in, it stole her partner from her. Forced Jinx to kill Ezreal’s undead corpse after he got bit and turned.

Her war on the infected has little to do with fun. It’s revenge. Revenge on the damned virus that tore everyone she ever loved out of her grasp.

So yes, it is fun to blast into a sea of decaying monsters. But behind every bullet, every bomb, is a deep-rooted grief-fueled hatred.

Yesterday was my first encounter with Fractured Jinx. It was a quick game so there was no champ select. The Jinx in my team had Zombie Slayer skin, and the enemy team the Fractured skin. Let me tell you, the change of quality is abysmal. but not in the way Riot wants you to think.

Fractured Jinx looks like a custom. Exported from engine to other. It blends with the map. The elements and particles look like they tried to slap a ton on concepts to the wall and see if it sticks. The walking animation feels tacky. It has a very weird lineless look on it, wich i assume is trying to replicate the show artstyle, but it looks wrong in all ways possible. I dont understand what those long cloth thingies replicating the braids. Its uncomfortable to the eye in all possible senses. I respect the hard work writers and artist had put on this skin but i cannot respect the price. If this was 10/20/30$ then my critique would be softball.

Okay so something that's really amusing/annoying to me as someone who like, actually knows things about League of Legends outside of just Arcane, is that Jinx and Vi being sisters is like, actually something that Arcane itself confirmed, for years there were some hints in their dialog and it was a commonly accepted theory that the two were sisters, but it was never concretely confirmed as canon until the release of Arcane. I'm sure you can imagine that means that it used to be a lot more common for people to ship them, pre-Arcane it was pretty normal to find ship art or fic of them without people whining and bitching about it. So seeing hate comments on clearly older pieces of art that came out of the LoL fandom as opposed to the Arcane fandom (and I do consider them different fandoms for the most part because a lot of Arcane fans aren't LoL fans) is really frustrating and exhausting.

Omg I feel you. While I wouldn't consider myself a LoL fan (I like Arcane tho and I have cosplayed Zombie Slayer Jinx and that's about all my knowledge of it, other than thinking a few characters look cool lol), I remember my bf telling me that bit about Vi and Jinx, that for the longest time it was a theory and not confirmed. And it's honestly really annoying to come in and say stuff like that on peoples' old arts. to say anything about it. Ppl need to learn fandom etiquette and just ignore something if they don't like it. And they also need to censor the tags. Like my favorite ship from Arcane is Jilco. But it's really annoying that I look up Jilco on twitter or something and see constant bitching about the ship (that's how I found this specific Vi/Jinx ship art). I wish ppl would just be less irritating.

zombie slayer jinx is probably the only PC skin you could realistically wear irl. tank top, shorts, boots, gloves. all her other skins are either ridiculously elaborate (cafe cuties) or costumed around a holiday (heartseeker, ambitious elf, firecracker) or too costumey in general (star guardian, crime city, battle cat) or just a bit too revealing to wear safely outside (default, arcane)
