Issue #6
Jim Salicrup, editor of the Spider-Man titles at Marvel, takes over full writing duties this time (#5-6UK, #3 US) and looking to boost sales, includes Spider-Man. But Hasbro initially rejected this idea initially as Spider-Man was licensed to Mattel for the Secret Wars toy line and didn't want to give free advertising for another toy-companies toy. Marvel was able to compromise by depicting Spidey in the symbiote costume which was thrown out 2 months prior in it's series.
