I chose a German Shepherd for him very intentionally, being the son of a police officer. It’d make him more of an obvious target to the other victims in the nerve gas house.

I also wanted to show that he’s still just a kid, a puppy, so his ears haven’t fully erected yet.

Daniel didn’t deserve to be in a trap whatsoever, I’m so glad he made it out; I love Amanda’s bond with him in saw 2, and how he’s the only character to comfort her after the needle pit.

Expect to see him more, in his grown up form in the future ;)

In my au he ends up becoming an apprentice, and Adam adopts him as his little brother of sorts. They go on kidnapping adventures together.

Premise of a spin-off Saw movie:

Eight superfans of Jigsaw wake up in an abandoned warehouse, unsure how they got there. They soon learn they’ve been kidnapped by “Jigsaw”. However, they’re not there to be tested. Instead, they will compete to be his next apprentice. Those who fail his tests will be put in a Saw trap and the sole survivor will become the next Jigsaw apprentice. The victims, being Jigsaw superfans, immediately agree to be part of the contest, even if it means they might lose their life.

The twist is that “Jigsaw” is actually Melissa Sing (played by Sheri Moon Zombie), the widow of the late Steven Sing. Some time after John Kramer’s death, she’s been kidnapping Jigsaw’s superfans/followers and putting them through Saw-style traps as a way of avenging her husband. The reason why she created this fake contest was to determine which of the 8 superfans was the most devout to the Jigsaw ideology. Their prize? Being placed in the most gruesome of the traps she invented.

Current body count:

Trap 1/the opening trap: Four people chained together must work as a team to solve a puzzle in under five minutes. If not, they will all be dragged into a wood chipper. Participants are (TBD).

There's like a CRIMINAL shortage of content regarding John, and his gay children being in jail for their crimes. It would be brilliant, especially for the hoffstrahm community, the untapped potential is insane , is it interesting? Would you guys be cool with an ask series or something fun?

(mgv) god imagine lawrence and adam both in the hospital, having been bathed carefully with sterile hospital soaps that smell like the word Clean, but still having their scents intertwined from their moment in the bathroom. it's enough that when alison finally gets to see lawrence she recoils a little at first. when she visits again she can smell more of him. it puts something bitter on the back of her tongue like an expired pill. and it's just as tough to swallow

I don't know if it's been done before but i wanted to implement it anyways. Rehab apprentices au is a fix-it hypothetical universe where john dies suddenly in between saw 2 and saw 3 and Jill takes over, but instead of torturing people she just leans heavily into her old methods and Lawrence Amanda and Mark reluctantly help her out, while also attending her clinic. As of now the clinic is something in between a psych ward and a support group. AU follows Strahm as he gets forcibly admitted there due to a misunderstanding but decides to make it an undercover mission instead. You can kinda count it as Peter apprentice au as well but only if you squint. This au mostly focuses on Jill Tuck, expanding on her character, her journey through grief, trying to cover for Mark and Amanda in spite of Strahm's efforts and exploring her relationship with the rest of the jigsquad. There's also big shotgunshipping and coffinshipping element to it.

Previously incompatible interests:

John had never anticipated that the two men that he’d trapped into one of his earlier games would turn out like this. Would prove to be one of his most reliable allies. And mark no mistake, John considered them allies. Even if he would sometimes catch Adam giving him a speculative look - as if measuring his worth and finding John lacking. John took it in stride. He considered it one of his greatest accomplishments noting that the Doctor and his Photographer were so quickly surpassing his wildest hopes for them.

OR:

After their trial by fire in the warehouse bathroom Adam and Lawrence find themselves partnered together by their former captor John Kramer. Lawrence considered it luck that John had even allowed Adam to be retrieved from the bathroom in the first place. Adam knew better though. John Kramer had never accounted for Adam surviving his game in the first place. And if it weren’t for the fact that Lawrence would not let Adam’s fate go, or that Hoffman refused to let John betray the rules that he had set for Adam’s game, well - Adam knew that he would have been destined to become nothing so much as a pile of bones in that bathroom, if not for fate’s intervention.

However:

Adam and Lawrence both did survive their game and the experience had linked them incontrovertibly - had turned them from two people who never would have pinged each others radar to two halves of a whole. Something that had been tempered into a weapon that was made to last. Made to outlast, in fact, John Kramer’s very long shadow.

I.e. Adam and Lawrence are not so secretly John’s favorites, and Hoffman can see which way the wind is blowing. He is not pulling an Amanda and trying to kill Dr. Lawrence’s partner anytime soon. (Amanda’s said she’s sorry, why wont Larry let it go?!)

…Yes, I do have plans to turn this into an actual story, but for now have this.
