South Sea Tomb of Candle in the Tomb series just dropped!!!! AHHHHHHHHH, I'M SO HAPPY!!!! Even though not all the seasons have been that good due to various reasons (and some uncontrollable), it's still a well loved and popular series (but of course, it's not popular at all on tumblr LOL). And most fans are very very very happy with this cast, including myself.

I really hope I can get to gif Pan Yueming. I always want to put him on my dilf directory, but never got the chance mostly because I was on gif hiatus when Day and Night aired. Candle in the Tomb is good, but really too hetero for me to pick scenes to gif lol...so not sure if I can find something to gif this time.

ALSO this means we'll probably get to see Tibetan Sea Flower in the next few months since all the rumor say that TSF will air after SST because unfortunately TSF is really the least popular tomb raiding show of Tencent (not sure if people on tumblr will be surprised to know that). I just can't wait to watch a new Zhang Luyi show!

I think this was probably a 'I don't want to kill my darling' scene.#(The Phoenix mountain flashback is a lot of people's 'darling'. I am knowingly putting myself in the line of fire here).#I'm willingly putting him in Wen Qing's borrowed cloak and assuming people take him wearing it as like...a war trophy.#Historians will revise this moment later on but for now he *is* a hero of that war.

Anyone who agrees with Yu Ziyuan that it was Wei Wuxians 'fault' that Lotus Pier was attacked either have the media literacy of an ant or are just that stupid. It's made clear repeatedly that Yu Ziyuan will blame Wei Wuxian for anything under the sun. She has zero sense of accountability and constantly uses her own kids in her war against her husband which isn't just an absolutely shitty thing to do but also incredibly traumatic for them. Regardless of your issues with your spouse you don't drag your kids into it.

Wei Wuxian did nothing wrong. Finding faults in the action of a child in order to incite conflict is pretty much the tactic of every dictator ever. Which is what Wen Ruohan is. If it wasn't for Wei Wuxian most if not all the other teenagers in the Xuanwu cave would've died. It's made pretty obvious that Wen Ruohan is more than willing and ready to start a fight against the other clans. He'd already attacked and burned down the Cloud Recesses. Yunmeng was ALWAYS going to be next. Wang Lingjiao 'blaming' Wei Wuxian wasn't about making an excuse, it was about baiting Yu Ziyuan into striking first. Which she did cause she has the diplomacy skills of a rabid dog.

Also it does not matter if Wei Wuxian says her whipping wasn't that bad. You don't ever whip a fucking child. The cultural and historical context might make it understandable but it doesn't make it justifiable. You don't get to condemn Jiang Fengmian for being a bad parent then bend over backwards to defend Yu Ziyuan.

While also standing in front of dead bodies.#While I'm here - Let's clear something up: WWX does a *lot* of torturing and killing in this scene.#If JC is to be credited for any tortures let it be known he did that right alongside WWX. They get co-torture credits here.#Your favourite character is responsible for several horrible tortures and murders.#Was it justified? Honestly I don't think so. I think it very much needs to be over-the-top-violent to show how WWX has changed.#It was excessive force to satiate his need for revenge. WWX is consistently demonstrating how he feels justified in his actions #Up until now they have been for relatively noble causes. I simply think this fandom doesn't give Wei Wuxian enough credit for the various ways in which he saved Lan Wangji

#mdzs #mo dao zu shi #wangxian #idk man- i just see a lot of “Lan Wangji has always been protecting Wei Wuxian” posts and its like...#I mean... Lan Wangji has always certainly been trying to protect Wei Wuxian #it took him a long time to figure how to successfully do that though #rereading the books rn and noticing theres a lot of instances that could be read as lwj being frustrated over his inability to protect wwx #like he seemed ready to cry when wwx went missing for a while and then came back with the cursed leg #lwj has always been great at protecting wwx from physical threats (ex: waterborn abyss) but had no idea how to protect him from himself #meanwhile wwx has always been instictually good at saving lwj from both #like I'm 100% lwj would've become like Jiang Cheng if wwx hadn't snapped him out of the blindly following authority thing #and also like... 15 y/o lwj wasnt happy with his life. he was lonely and stressed and literally signing up to be flogged whenever he goofed #wwx is who allowed lwj to grow up by showing him what it was like to actually be a kid (shown in story whenever lwj gets drunk)#he led lwj to having a more flexible mindset. and it both let lwj relax and set lwj up to be a better parent #looking into lwj's dynamic with the juniors- he lets them break a fuck ton of the petty rules and encourages them to question authority #he also teaches them to not be married to any one meathod of problem solving #wwx is also able to save lwj from his own stubbornness #ex: carrying lwj when he broke his leg. getting lwj to cough up bad blood. getting lwj to keep the rabbits #wwx also tends to give lwj the words he has trouble saying himself. helps him communicate #wwx also protects lwj in fights a lot but thats narratively less important #except the various times wwx puts himself in danger to help lwj. those times are what made it so lwj could never move on from wwx #like with the cave incident #or when wwx helped surpress the arm instead of using the chaos to escape cloud recesses #tldr i guess: i think this fandom tends to treat lwj being the best like its natural to him when really wwx accidentaly rewired his brain #I'm looking directly at fanfic writers who act like the Lans would've treated wwx better than the Jiangs #lwj had to do so much work and self reflection post meeting wwx to be the way he is. he is not the sole product of the Lan teachings

Lloyd at his grown age would drag Sora, Arin, Wyldfyre, Riyu and any of the ninja that are around to a fireworks display only to buy the plastic lightsabers that light up to start swinging it around like a five year old.

Bonus he would make Sora wear those light up heart headbands they sell during them too, and Wyldfyre would be given the light up heart wands and she would start aggressively trying to cast spells. Kai would end up finding where the fireworks are being lit and lights them early, Nya is on the opposite side of original fireworks lighting up better ones to cope, and Zane would try to launch himself as a firework whilst Cole wonders of he should help him or stop him. Geo makes the canon to shoot, and Arin accidentally end up with fireworks attached to him as he helps Nya.

Lloyd believes they should go again next year. Cole and Sora seriously disagree.
