Best Friend's Brother
Oh Jesus Christ I loved writing every moment of this, but I kinda strayed away from your last point in the request, I'm sorry! I still hope it satisfies <3
Pairing: Neteyam Sully x Reader (James Cameron’s Avatar)
Requested: Yes | No
Warnings: Just fluff, some lowkey spice. No minors, get outta here! Reader is insecure and self-conscious, Neteyam puts a stop to that rather quickly.
Words: 3.7k
Author’s Notes:
Neteyam is 19, reader is 18 but only a few months older than Kiri. Lo’ak and Kiri are roughly 17, moving on to 18. Lil Tuk girl queen is the same age as the movie because I will protect her childhood. How old even is she? 8? Maybe im a fake fan.
Please note that the reader utilises she/her pronouns. If you’d prefer male or gender-neutral pronouns in fic I’m more than happy to repost a male or gn version of the story, otherwise include any pronoun preferences in the request box!
Read below the cut:
High Camp provided so much warmth, love and safety for its people. You were not old enough to remember Hometree or the destruction of it. But you could not imagine living anywhere else but in the densely protected cave systems of the Hallelujah Mountains.
Everyone knows everyone, all the kids play together, live together, laugh together. The community that Olo'eyktan Jake Sully, and his mate, Neytiri had fostered here was against all odds.
Your mother was one of the most talented hunters in the clan, this love of hunting easily transferred to warmongering, alongside the leadership (or maybe the leashing of your mother’s bloodlust) from Neytiri and Toruk Macto. Neytiri and your mother grew up together, so closely. Neytiri never forgets her friends and knows every name and face of the clan. You couldn’t help but admire her for this. Your father, on the other hand, was an irreplaceable healer and herbalist. He worked alongside T’sahik Mo’at, training younger Na’vi who showed promise in interpreting the ways of Eywa’s medicinal signs. With your family’s connection to the Sully’s, it was impossible to avoid them, even if you wanted to.
You grew up with the Sully kids, being a year younger than Neteyam, their eldest, and only a few months older than Kiri and Lo’ak, the four of you would always be playing. Running through the majestic forests of Pandora, swimming through creeks, lakes and rivers, kissing the dirt as you rolled down hills into meadows of wildflowers. The older you got the closer you got to Kiri. The sister you’ll never have.
You loved your parents, you did, but they made it clear that one child was enough for them. Your father loved the Sully’s as you did, he thought with his entire heart that Jake was the best for the clan. He was Toruk Macto, after all. Your mother, however, made things harder. She loved Neytiri like a sister, and always wished for her happiness.
“I remember when Jake was like a baby, you know.” She would say at mealtimes, your father would have a small smile. You could do nothing but roll her eyes. “He was trouble maker, still is.” She was grumpy. You knew that she trusted Jake and saw him as a good Olo’eyktan, but the disdain grew from your friendship with his kids.
“His boys are the same, no different.” She would always say the same thing, with the same pointed look.
You and Kiri had just finished your rituals of womanhood the week prior. For the both of you finding a mate was expected. For Kiri, nothing was ever expected in terms of mateship. In fact it was almost the opposite.
“You never have to do something you don’t wanna do, Babygirl” Jake said, smoothing down Kiri’s wild hair. The two of you sat in the middle of the floor in the Sully’s tented home. Braiding beads into your songchords to commemorate the recent transition from child to adult.
“What about you, (y/n)?” Neytiri asked, watching the two young girls weave their cords, reminiscing on her own bead.
You sighed, knowing your parents had been pushing the topic for a while:
“What about Tsu-wey? Or, Marek or Teyk’ah?” Your mother said, rattling off the names of warrior boys, flinging her arms around, exasperated. You shook your head, you weren’t really interested in anyone.
Your father, always taking the approachable, personal angle, sat next to you, tucking your shoulders under his arm.
“What about Aäna? She’s a lovely girl-”
“Dad!” You shot up, crossing your arms over your chest, the blood rushing to your cheeks. “It’s not that Dad, I just don’t like anyone like that yet really.”
“You’ve got to work it out, (y/n),” Your mother said harshly, “Soon.”
“Uh no, no I haven’t really got anyone in mind.” You replied quietly.
“Ugh come on, lets scram.” Kiri said grabbing your wrist and practically marching you out of her family home.
“Ughh Kiri, I only just finished my chord-oof” Your complaints were quickly cut off as Kiri stobbed abruptly, your whole body coming in contact with her back. “You skxwang! What are you doing-”
“Brother.” Kiri chirps, cutting you off. Neteyam stood in the doorway, leaning against the timber frame, smirking. His braids fell around his face, his high cheekbones and delicate features seemed to play with the soft golden lighting of High Camp, his tail flicked subtly from side to side, amused.
“Sister, (y/n),” Neteyam replied, sounding almost bored. “Where are you two running off to?” his fingers fiddled with his waistband, running down to his songchord. You knew you were staring, tracking the motion of his large hands, rubbing each bead, shell, and stone in between his thumb and pointer finger. It was embarrassing, you couldn’t look away, and why should you? There was nothing inappropriate about the action. Just his large, capable hands and skilled fingers…
Oh Eywa, that is enough.
“None of your business, big brother,” Kiri said, teasing as she often did. You swore she only knew how to convey her thoughts through sarcasm and hints.
Neteyam chuckled, his fingers resting on his crossed arms once, more. Your plain eyes found his warm, deep ones, as he said:
“I think it’s my business where my girls run off to, no?” You knew he did not mean it the way your stupid little brain heard it, you know he meant it as a brother. Nothing more, nothing less. But god, you wished you were his girl. You always had, since you were twelve. All of a sudden, you woke up one day and Neteyam was cute. Cute turned into cool, cool gave way into hot, and hot turned into so incredibly sexy as you got older. And you stayed, well awkward and plain and not much to behold.
But, you could pretend, that was something you were good at. Rolling your eyes, you broke the contact with Neteyam, shoving Kiri with your shoulder and righting the way of the world, again.
“The meadow.” You said flatly.
Kiri wasn’t as much of an airhead as you seemed to think she was. She knew her best friend, and she knew her big brother. Neteyam was a loser, a goody-goody with a desperate need to be the perfect son, the perfect soldier. Around you, he became this swaggering popular guy that Kiri knew him not to be, really. Maybe around his stupid Ikran Rider friends. But never around Kiri, or Lo’ak or Tuk. He never bought that facade into their home, save for when you were in it.
You, on the other hand, Kiri knew you like the back of her hand. You were shy, sweet and just so obviously and painfully in love with Neteyam. She watched you watch him, and him in turn trying to memorise every freckle, scar and nick on your body.
Neteyam cleared his throat, embarrassed that Kiri had caught him, once again, stealing glances at her best friend.
“Just be home for dinner, before eclipse, yeah?” He questioned, the muscle upon his brow bone tilting slightly upward.
“Of course!” Kiri yelled out as the two of you ran off, hand-in-hand, giggling as you did so. Neteyam watched your retreating figures flee High Camp. Pulling his attention towards his own songchord, his most recent bead was longer than the others, a hollowed-out green gemstone, mottled with white and silver patterning. The one he chose for himself the year prior at his own ceremony, welcoming him into manhood. Neteyam smiled to himself, remembering the bead you had obviously chosen for your own ceremony, made from the same little green stone.
Neteyam didn’t know how much longer he could go on going like this. He felt like he was walking in circles, orbiting you, waiting for his gamut to eventually crash him into you. Sighing he opened the flap to his tented family home. Maybe it was time to ask Toruk Macto for advice.
The long grass of the meadow was a deep shade of green, almost the colour of seagrass. Its long strands waved in the breeze, tickling your face as you lay on your back, watching the clouds, birds and everything that called the clearing it’s home. You felt connected to the place, like you were in the lungs of the world, simply floating in the breath of Eywa.
Kiri sat at your feet in the long grass, facing you, but with her knees drawn close to her chest, playing with the end of her face-framing braids. She was thinking hard, hyperfocused on a thought that was so deep-rooted it took you multiple attempts to get her attention.
“What’s wrong my Kiri?” You asked, finally catching her eye-line, sitting up to mirror her position.
“Nothing is wrong, why would anything be wrong?” Kiri responded, trying to act nonchalant.
“Do not bullshit me, you penis face.” You say, pulling a smile out of her distracted figure while nudging her leg with your foot.
“You would be my sister if you mated Neteyam, you know that right?” She asked, like she didn’t say the craziest fucking sentence you’ve ever heard in the world.
All the air left your lungs at once, she may as well have punched you in the stomach. You were going to retch.
“What are you talking about!” You felt the blood rush to your face, fanning itself over your nose, cheeks, ears and shoulders. Your whole chest felt like Kiri had taken a flare to it. You couldn’t bear it, you felt hot all over. You covered your face with your shaking hands.
Oh, mother Eywa I will die here, I will die here of embarrassment and pass through to you.
“Don’t be stupid, I know you loooooove him,” She said stretching out her o’s as she so often did when teasing, she poked you a few times too, for good measure. “He obviously is pining for you too, you skxwang.”
Kiri was a tease, she was sarcastic and blunt and hilarious. But she was not mean. Which, is why you couldn’t work out why she was being mean to you now. About something so personal, too. You felt the hot tears start to form.
“Why are you being mean?” You asked softly, pulling your hands away from your eyes, to try and read her face.
Kiri was taken aback by how upset you were. She did not mean it to be mean, she was serious. She quickly took you in her arms, all jokes aside.
“Ma (y/n) why are you crying?” Kiri asked softly. You sniffled, letting the tears fall freely now.
“You know I love Neteyam, why would you tease me like that knowing it is like stones in my heart.” You began to ramble, as you so often did when you were emotional. “Neteyam sees me as his little sister, nothing more, nothing less.” You said seriously, vehemently. Lip quivering, you felt stupid and pathetic crying about it. But now that ball of thoughts had started to be unwound in your mind you could not stop, all the words you could not say since you were twelve just fell out of your little mouth. “And besides, if Neteyam didn’t see me as just a little annoying sister, I am ugly Kiri.” Kiri started to shush you, but you did not listen.
“I am not unique in features like you, I am not as elegant as your mother, I’m not as alluring as Aäna, or as talented as Lor’ät. I’m so fucking boring.” Your tears fell so freely down your face and neck, you felt them fall behind the straps of your breast cover. You hated it. You hated everything about you and you would never be enough for Neteyam.
You would never be enough for anyone, really. When you thought critically about it.
Kiri held you close as you sobbed like her mother would, smoothing down your hair like her father would. She was beyond confused about how you could ever think this about yourself. Knowing fair well what a lot of the hunter boys Lo’ak was friends with say about you, what Neteyam’s Riders say in confidence, what the healer girls under Mo’at whisper about during Kiri’s training. Usually it makes her want to gag. But in this moment she wished she told you earlier. Maybe it would’ve given you more self-confidence in a perverse roundabout way. You were so wanted. If it wasn’t for Neteyam’s possessive nature of you, you could have anyone you wanted. Kiri reasoned, that if Neteyam wasn’t going to let anyone else have you, but not move on you himself, Kiri would have to set it up.
You and Kiri came back to High Camp, just before dinner and just after you finally stopped crying. You asked Kiri to never talk about the whole thing, preferring to just shove the whole thing into a little lockbox, throwing it away into the undercurrent of your consciousness.
You stopped dead in your tracks infront of Kiri’s home, hearing Jake’s laugh and Tuk’s squeals. Neteyam was in there. No, you couldnt it was way to fresh. To have dinner with them would be the last petal in your funerary basket.
“Come, lets eat.” Kiri whined, pulling on your arm. You stood firm like an island of stone against the tide.
“I think I will eat with my parents tonight, I’m sorry.” You said in a low voice. “I’ll be back to normal tomorrow I promise.” You quickly added, to appease your headstrong sister.
“Okay.” Kiri said softly, taking both of your hands into her five-fingered ones. “It’s all going to sort itself out, (y/n). I promise.”
The usually short walk across High Camp to your family home felt unusually long, cold and dark.
Kiri flopped down on the woven mats around the firepit with a huff. Next to Jake and Neteyam, Kiri was hungry and angry and sad for her friend.
“Hey , Babygirl.” Jake said, kissing Kiri on her forehead. Jake looked toward the door, confused. “Where’s my other beautiful girl?” Jake asked, confused. (y/n) always joined them for dinner, he couldn’t remember a night her presence had been missed since she was born.
Kiri sighed, big and deep. “She’s having dinner with her parents.”
“What has happened?” Neytiri asked, serving dinner on a leaf for little Tuk.
Kiri felt internally conflicted. It was not her business to share, not her secrets to lay bare. But her best friend was hurting, and the skxwang next to her was the only one who could fix it. But (y/n) never begs for anything, and she begged Kiri the whole walk home to say nothing.
She could not say nothing, but she did not have to say anything, either.
“(y/n) was sad, about finding a mate. Her parents are really hard on her about it.” Kiri was not one to lie, and this was not a lie she convinced herself. But not the whole truth either.
“Bro, that’s so stupid. Literally everyone is asking her mom for courting meetings.” Lo’ak piped up. His sentence muffled due to his full fucking face of food. Kiri screwed her face up.
“Courting meetings? What do you mean?” Neteyam looked panicked. The face he usually reserved for Lo’ak’s antics on the field.
“I don’t know man, some of the guys were talking about it today during lessons. But her Dad keeps turning them away for now.” Lo’ak answered, shrugging nonchalantly, stuffing his face still, despite the family’s disgust.
Kiri stared at Neteyam, reading every inch of his face as he calmed down. He was running out of time, she knew it. But, Neteyam looked at Jake. Jake raised his eyebrows at his eldest son, turning his head slightly and shrugging. It was a shared look, Neteyam knew exactly what Jake meant, though Kiri felt left in the lurch.
The Sully’s did not talk about it for the rest of dinner, thankfully.
Neytiri was putting Tuk to bed. Jake, in a rare moment was teaching Lo’ak how to properly clean a gun. Kiri sat, next to Neteyam, running her hands up and down her own songchord, anxiously. Neteyam was evidently anxious too, his legs pulled up close to his chest, he stared at the fire pit as if the answers were going to lash out and brand him.
“She is in love with you, Neteyam.” Kiri said softly. Neteyam felt like he was going to pass out and bleed from his nose.
“I don’t think so baby sister,” Neteyam ruffled her hair, trying to present himself in a lighthearted way, despite his creeping blush. Kiri smacked his hand away.
“Listen to me, you idiot.” Kiri’s serious voice felt like a hot knife running through Neteyam’s soul. She never sounded this way, this upset. “She loves you. And, and she thinks that you only think of her as a little sister.” Neteyam chuckled at that, he never treated her the way he treated Kiri and Tuk. Surely, that was obvious, no? “I know. I laughed too.” Kiri said with a small smile. She took Neteyam’s hands into her own, like she did with you only a few hours prior.
“Neteyam, she thinks that she’s ugly, that she will never be enough for you. She thinks she’s not talented.” Kiri’s round eyes filled with empathetic tears for her best friend, thinking back on your small frame sobbing in the long grass.
Neteyam’s blush soon turned to anger. His heart finding the possessive pit that he reserves only for his feelings for you.  “I do not understand, does she not know that everyone wants her?” Neteyam hissed in a low voice, Eywa forbid, Neytiri heard him talk about how the other boys of the clan view (y/n). Neteyam hated how they spoke of her body, her face, her mind. Her beautiful voice and nimble hands. Only he was allowed to think of you like that. And the Great Mother only knows how they think of you at night, how they think of you when they-
Neteyam stopped himself before he went any further. He knew how he thought about you at night when he has a hand between his thighs.
“She does not know.” Kiri said, bringing Neteyam back to the forefront of his mind. “I have never told her.”
Neteyam’s heart swelled in a terrible way. You were so sweet, so innocent, you did not know that boys rutted into their own hands at the thought of the way your waist dips, or the mound of your breast. He needed to protect you, and Jesus, he thought he had by laying an unofficial possessive claim. But, it seems that the future Olo’eyktan has been ignored.
A growl fell out of Neteyam’s mouth. To Kiri it looked like a dark light fell over her brother’s features. A man possessed. He stood, cracking his neck and shoulders, like he always did, but this time Kiri flinched. She had never seen Neteyam so…scary.
“I will fix this tomorrow, sister.” Was all Neteyam said, as he retreated to the sleeping quarters of their home.
(y/n) did not sleep a wink. All she could see in her mind’s eye was Neteyam. Neteyam laughing with other girls, Neteyam riding with other girls. How they wave to him when he walks past.
Neteyam. Neteyam. Neteyam.
You felt so guilty, so, so guilty. As the night went on your thoughts went south, went dirty and wrong. You dreamt about kissing Neteyam; How soft his lips would feel against your own. His rough, calloused hands would hold your face in place and he would kiss you like he loved you, kissed you like he meant it.
Simply, you did not deserve to hold romantic thoughts about Neteyam in your heart like that. He was not yours. He would never be.
You quick hands made light work of the repair you were currently undertaking. You enjoyed your work as clan seamstress. Fixing, making loin cloths, beading breast covers and threading jewellery. You enjoyed the freedom to create things, but to also be useful to your clan. You could never offer them safety, food, medicine or freedom. But you could make sure they were warm in the cool rains, and protected from the glistening sun in the heat of the day.
You folded the repaired loincloth, placing it to the side. Ready for its owner to pick it up when they had a moment to spare.
The flap to the tent flew open, causing you to jump out of your skin. The last person you wanted to see stood in the entry way, ripped loincloth in hand.
“Good morning, Neteyam.” You said softly, casting your gaze downwards. He quickly sat across from you, legs crossed like a child.
“Well, it’s good now.” He smiled brightly. You felt all the blood run to your cheeks. “Do you uh, do you mind fixing this for me?” He said, stumbling over his own words, handing over the dark green textile.
“Of course, easy fix.” Your fingers brushed his and you felt like your hands had been set on fire. Shaking, you began stitching the fabric back together. You knitted your brows together as you worked, not wanting to see his face any longer, the more you stared at your hands, the worse they shook. This tear made no sense, it was cleanly cut with a knife. Neteyam had purposely ripped his own loincloth. “How did this even happen?” You asked.
“I needed an excuse to come and see you, my (y/n).” Neteyam spoke softly, reaching out to take one of your hands, distracting them from their job. His eyes caught yours, and you knew you were done. So warm, so full of life and love.
“Neteyam-” You started, but he cut you off. Something of which Neteyam had never done before.
“I know you do not see yourself how I see you.” He started, his stare holding you to the spot, you sent a brief prayer to Eywa, that this was not some cruel trick. “You are the most beautiful creature that has ever walked these lands. You care so deeply for the people, the forest.” His hand ran the length of your arm, goosebumps rising in his wake. “I see you. I love you. I want you.” Neteyam said vehemently.
You felt everything, everywhere, all at once. Everything you have ever wanted to hear had fallen out of his mouth like it was always meant to be. It sounded so right. It sounded natural and real. It was so out of character for Neteyam, to be so open, so raw and honest with his feelings.
So, under the guise of love, you acted out of character too. Like for like.
Taking his beautiful, soft face between your small, shaking hands, you kissed him. Pulling away for breath, you remembered what needed to be said.
“I have always seen you, Neteyam.”

sinful irony.
adam x fem! reader.
summary: Your forced into a Christian camp because of your mothers lies to her church friend. But after you see her son your sold. Only question is how do you seduce her Christian son or what if you already have?
cw/tw/tags: SMUT, porn with plot, camp counsellor au, m masterbation, oral f receiving, p in v, degrading, use of the word daddy, slight public sex, sort of dubious consent, mentions of pregnancy, virgin adam, adam is my own warning!! let me know if I've missed anything cause i'm SO tired!!
!a/n: i'm not liking this at all but i just want it done!! so i hope at least someone finds this enjoyable cause the formatting is killing me cause I tried to make all the text small and it kept crashing my tumblr so I’m done!! fuck being aesthetic I guess!! @sniigura
Eden camp where all teens went to learn how to be a better Christian’s and in all honesty there was no place better to go and as camp approached Adam was uncertain on what it would entail. He had perfected most if not all of the activities they did when he was a camper so now it was time to flex his skills to a bunch of teens and teach them what is right and what is wrong. Although his ideas of what right and wrong might be a bit misconstrued?
Maybe if his childhood was remotely normal he would have been a normal adult that goes out partying and drinks a shitload of alcohol during the summer but instead his pretentious mother had convinced him to be a youth leader at camp this year. Let’s give three big hoorays for Sera and her amazing ideas!
Adam was excited to an extent, but then there was Lucifer. The slimey son of a bitch who stole not one but two of his ex girlfriends. You can’t really come back from that and to top it all off he was the one that Adam was leading the boys Cabin with. The fact he’d even have to be in the vicinity of and share air with that fucker made his skin crawl with disgust l.
At least he had his best friend Lute would be there who was trying her best so keep her composure after being assigned a cabin with Lilith. Lucifers soon to be wife and Adam’s first ex girlfriend. If you could even call her that. The relationship was off? To say the least. And if it couldn’t get any worse Eve would be there. Of course she would, when this all started they were happily in love and talked about how going away and teaching at a camp for a couple weeks would be so beneficial to their relationship. But alas she would be there.
Sweet Eve, who wouldn’t love the ever loving, beautiful church girl? The girl who’d foster baby birds back to health after they fell from their nest and would go out of her way to help lost children in the supermarket find there parents. Adam. Adam did not love her. In fact he despised her in a way. Okay maybe not despised but it’s hard to love the girl who cheated on you with your ex best friend and ex girlfriend. Just because you never slept together!!
He kind of wished as the days approached that Eve would get into some horrific accident so he wouldn’t have to face her. As horrible as that sounds.
He just couldn’t imagine having to face them all after he walked into Eve’s apartment that day to them fucking like bunnies. It was a sight for sore eyes and as much as it hurt Adam to let go of Eve and all they’d been through together he couldn’t seem to make peace with the fact she’d sought out others and ended the relationship a week later. They still saw each other of course in places like University, church and most importantly the youth group they started running together in their senior year of high school for young teens wanting to learn about Jesus.
He should have just found a new youth group and started assisting there but Sera talked him out of it. She spewed nonsense about how the kids loved him and needed him and he was a great asset to their church. And with his ego boosted he continued as he was like nothing happened. But now camp was approaching where all he would see are these people and he couldn’t exactly ignore them.
Just then his phone pinged. The name read mom. Not that Adam ever called her that anyway.
[Mom]: Hello Adam, as camp is approaching I thought it would be a good idea for yous who are leading to set up a group chat. I have forwarded your number to the girl who is sharing a cabin with Eve and she’s going to set up a group. She looks forward to meeting you.
[Adam]: ok ma thanks for letting me know
That was all Adam sent. He didn’t want to start anything with her or further continue the conversation so he just let it be as it was. As he scrolled the through his socials he saw a couple messages pop up.
As he scrolled through the messages he picked up on the girls name. She seemed cool enough but no photos indicating what she looked like. There was her full name though. So without a second thought Adam searches your full name into instagram and only one account comes up. So he clicked and oh fuck.
She looked gorgeous. Her photos emanating how flawless she truly was. She surely didn’t look the part of a Christian camp leader though. How did she even get this gig? One of the requirements was being Christian.. He knew that for certain. Maybe he had her mistaken. Surely she was better than what she led on.. right? That’s at least what Adam hoped as he turned his phone off and threw it somewhere on his bed and did his best to fall asleep. It was in vain though, fuck were you pretty.
Adam ripped down his boxers and rubbed at his member. He massaged his fingers over his tip and groaned as he pushed his head back into his pillows.
How did you have such an effect on him? Some prostitute looking whore who looked like she’s flash her tits to anyone. Adam wanted nothing more than to knock some decency into you. No well respected girl dresses like that. Right?
As Adam groaned again moving his fingers up and down his dick before fixating on the base. It felt good in a way. The pleasure Adam felt was indescribable but it was only pleasure he got from himself. He had never actually had sex.
It’s not like it was that big of a deal. So what if he hadn’t fucked a bitch, who needs to do that anyway? Not him, that’s for sure.
He had come close though. Not with Lilith even kissing Lilith was a struggle for the both of them and quite frankly was something they did a handful of times but with Eve he delved further. It did take them a while. Adam didn’t want to give into his unholy urges so he held out, like any responsible Christian boy would do.
Eve seemed understanding though he could sense her disappointment when he pulled away before they even got the chance to make out. He could see the looks of despair and how distant she acted after he turned down her further advances. She never communicated this verbally to him but he could sense it. He knew she longed for more and in a way it made him feel like she had the right to cheat. He always reassured himself that her decision was selfish and he had no reason to feel bad for someone’s wrong actions but sometimes late at night when he’s alone with his thoughts he wonders what would have happened if he’d just given in. Maybe then he wouldn’t be alone and she’d be here with him.
He remembers when he did give in though. They were in his apartment and they were making out. An odd occasion that Adam didn’t often indulge in. Our he wanted to appease her so he went along and her carried away. They undressed and hadn’t do en thought twice of the consequences until Sera had barged in. How she’d gotten in was beyond Adam bjr he was lectured for weeks after it and was made to go to confession to confess his sinful actions. From then on him and Eve went back to stage 1 which consisted on an arm wrapped around her while they watched movies, band holding and little pecks ok the lips. He could tell she was unsatisfied with how things had to be though.
Adam felt his dick twitch and could feel he was close to climax as he kept massaging his cock. He wishes you were here with him to help him. Wait no he didn’t? He didn’t even know you. Bur still you were beautiful. At least to Adam and as he kept rubbing he felt climax reaching and he let it cumming all over his hand and sheets.
He let himself feel the pleasure for a .2 seconds before the guilt settled in. He felt it in his gut the overwhelming sense of dread. What did he just do?
He immediately got up and wakes to the bathroom running the tap and squirting 5 pumps of soap onto his hands and lathering it, rubbing his hands together and soaking them under water and repeating the ritual 2 more times. He calms himself who’re returning to the side of his bed and gets down on his knees at the side of the bed and bows his head.
Adam prays. He prays for forgiveness and to help him overcome his lust. He prays and prays until he finally doesn’t feel ridden with guilt and gets up and turns on his TV. He pots on whatever show he can find and turns down the volume. It drowns out his thoughts and puts him to sleep quicker.
And just like that the days flew past and Adam was now boarding a bus. It was loud and full of teens who seemingly had bundles of energy even though it was 7am. Adam was trying to hype himself up while sipping the coffee Lute and him bought on the way here. It was going to be a long ride full of attempts to sleep and failing because whoever the fuck on the back of the bus is playing 2000s white girl tunes and screaming them like a banshee. He wasn’t going to say anything he was happy enough. Especially that he didn’t even have to ask to be sat with Lute on the ride there. Usually you were made to sit with whoever you were sharing a cabin with but under the circumstances Adam was allowed to sit with Lute and Lucifer and Lilith sat together instead.
He was happy enough with the arrangement and stuck his headphones in. Lute was already sat by the window scrolling away on her phone. It was too early to expect her to socialise and in all honesty he didn’t want to socialise either. He needed sometime to recoup to even be able to physically live when he’d be sharing a room with Lucifer and a bunch of rowdy teenage boys for the next couple weeks.
It wouldn’t be terrible especially not when the pretty girl he masterbated too with sitting across the aisle from him. Though she was chatting up his ex girlfriend Eve and for a split second he wished he was her instead. What is he even thinking? He turns away from you and unlocks his phone scrolling through whatever he can to keep himself occupied as they set off.
You had noticed Adam. In fact you’d found yourself into him the moment you met his mother at your parents house.
You were visiting for the afternoon when you met Sera. She was a tall, elegant woman who held herself well, with dark skin and vitiligo on her cheeks and white almost luminescent eyes and lashes that made them stand out even more. She was slender and had the most beautiful grey ringlet curls you had ever seen. This is was Sera? You kind of assumed Sera was some blonde bitch who had several different baby daddies and lived off church’s money but this lady carries herself with dignity and was self assured.
She was delighted to meet you, said she’d heard so much about you. You were sure she hadn’t though. Your parents had a habit of lying when it came to you. You felt guilty that you weren’t the daughter they envisioned but they weren’t the parents they envisioned themselves to be either. So you sat there indulging in your parents lies. It was somewhat comical of how much they came up with. But what can you say it was funny. Key word was. When she started talking about how her sons Christian camp needed more leaders you felt your stomach drop.
You had half the mind to tell her your parents had been lying for years and you were in fact nor the perfect, church going daughter she had envisioned and having your parents be blackballed from the church community. But you played it off and said you would think about it and expressed pity. She looked delighted and told you her son has just broken up with his girlfriend a couple months ago. How he was perfect marriage material and how you two would make a lovely couple.
Your head was spinning. Okay first this ladies trying to convince you to go to some random camp and help out there and now she’s talking about marrying you into her family? She’s crazy especially when she brought up about her son being a virgin.
‘His names Adam and I think you too would get along great.’ She chimed and she sipped on some of the tea your mother had brewed a couple of minutes prior who stood by the counter sipping a cup of coffee looking on edge. Probably in case you slipped up on some heinous lie she told.
‘I’m sure he’s great.’ You smiled at her sipping away at your own coffee and internally trying to keep yourself sane.
‘Here look.’ She said momentarily pausing while flipping through her phone and pulling up a photo of her what you thought was going to be her dorky, repressed loser ass son who would probably live in his mothers basement till she died and he finally could have access to the whole house. But looking at the photo..
He was sexy and what can you say? You were easily bought. It helped you in other ways too!! Like you get extra credit from your university for working with kids. Totally justifiable. At least that’s what you told yourself. Damn you didn’t think you’d have a thing for conservative, Christian virgins but here you are on a bus to a Christian camp with one goal in mind. Fucking Sera’s son.
You sat down across the aisle from him and introduced yourself to Eve. You had spoken to her once or twice over text message and a couple times more in your camp counsellor group chat. But seeing her in person was a different experience.
She was etheral and you couldn’t help but feel inferior to a girl with such good looks and personality. She had dark skin and her hair was pulled into box braids. Her eyes were a deep chocolate coloured brown and looked soft. She had large breast and wide hips and stomach rolls.
She was beautiful and her smile radiated happiness as she introduced herself. She seemed happy and in her environment. She seemed the type of person who could be placed anywhere and just fit.
She told you all about her youth group and how she ran it with her now ex boyfriend. Adam.
Looking at her surely that couldn’t have been right? She was Adams ex girlfriend? She was gorgeous. The definition on beauty nobody could compare to what she looked like. It made sense though someone as gorgeous as her needed somebody to match her. And Adam and her fit like puzzle pieces intertwined they complimented each other insanely well. And he never had sex with her? If she even mentioned the word sex she would have been pinned to the bed immediately. You couldn’t understand why Adam would reject her sexual advances. Surely she’d made some, so why did he say no to her? She was the kind of woman who could make Victoria secret models feel inadequate. You wondered if that was why they had broken up. You tried not to make assumptions as you chatted to her. Maybe cracking Adam would be harder than you first assumed.
It was a long drive and felt even longer now that you had arrived. Your cabin was far and your case with heavy and your eyes practically drooped with exhaustion and your head hung low but you pulled through. You greeted the girls in your cabin warmly and expressed your excitement. You weren’t actually too happy to be here but you weren’t going to let anyone here know that.
‘Alright guys, lets get going! When we get to the cabin you’ll have fifteen minutes to get sorted and then you’ll have free time for the next two hours before dinner.’ She chimed cheerfully. That was getting old. How is she so cheerful after travelling six hours with one stop? Still you smiled as you pulled along your heavy ass suitcase.
‘Need help with that?’ Someone from behind you asked.
He sounded even hotter. Was this grounds for having children? Nope not even close. But it was him. Adam. And fuck was he sexy. Even sexier than the photos you’d seen of him.
‘Yeah.’ You stated smiling turning to face him. ‘You think you could help me with it?’ You questioned a tilt in your voice. You don’t exactly know what it is but men love to play the strong, dominant, I’m so great card a lot. Especially because they presume your helpless. You don’t necessarily like playing the ‘I’m so helpless’ princess card but if it’d stroke his ego enough..
‘Of course babe,’ he smirked smugly winking at you. ‘names Adam.’ He said picking up your case with ease and walking ahead up to your cabin.
Adam was a big guy, you knew that from the photo you say of him but seeing him in person was a different experience. Especially when he’s just picked up the case you could barely bring to your car and trug to the bus driver with ease did something to you. Maybe your just ovulating.
You followed him along with your easy carry on bag, smiling at him as he made it up the hill. ‘Thank you so much.’ You smiled at him looking up at him and slightly batting your eyes. Is that sexy? You hope it is.
He seems to think so as a grin plasters his face and he looks you up and down. ‘No problem gorgeous.’ He states looking back down the hill he sees a group of boys walking the same direction.
‘Look at that our cabin’s our right next to each other.’ He states smirking and winking at you.
‘What luck.’ You whisper loud enough for him to hear. ‘It’s been so nice to meet you Adam but I gotta go unpack.’ You state backing away smiling at him.
His face drops for a second then contorts and he looks angry and he looks like he’s going to say something but he doesn’t and just like that he’s back to smiling. ‘Yeah me too, but after orientation with our cabins the counsellors are going swimming down in the lough. You should come.’ He winks.
‘Yeah I will, see you then.’ You wink back retreating up the steps to your cabin and pulling your case into your assigned room.
The rooms are nice, cosy actually. The bed’s are made of wood with red bedsheets and white pillows and it reminds you of one of those winter cabins you’d find in the Christmas movies. They’re tiny to preserve space but you’d rather that than a bunk bed. You both have a wardrobe each and a mirror. The room isn’t terrible but you’d have to make do with the space at least for now. So unzipping your case you start to unpack your clothes and shoes into the wardrobe.
‘Hey, you nearly ready?’ Eve chimed while popping head round the corner of the door.
‘Yeah, practically all done.’ You replied.
‘Great, I forgot to tell you we’re all going swimming later, well the counsellors. You want to join? I totally want to get to know you better and everyone else would love to meet you.’ Eve said. She was so soft spoken and genuine it made you want to hug her.
‘Oh yeah, Adam mentioned that to me I’d love to.’ Her face contorted for a second into confusion but it’s almost like she realised what face she was making and went back to making her perky, happy face.
‘I’m SO excited, I can already tell we’re gonna have the BEST time together.’ She said walking towards you and taking your hand. Her hands were warm but not in a sweaty way but in a comforting way, it felt like taking a mother’s hand warm and soft.
‘Me too.’ You replied smiling at her as she kept your hand in hers dragging you to the living room for orientation.
Walking to the lough wasn’t long but Eve made it longer by pointing everything out and practically speaking to everyone she had any relation too or people she did not know. She’d been here every year since she was thirteen and now she was in her twenties. Doesn’t she get bored, apparently not.
Walking down the steps you took off your cover on and flip flops and placed your towel and phone on top of them. Scanning the lough your eyes fell on Adam who was sitting on a paddle board looking bored but as he looked up and locked eyes with you he smiled waving you over to him. So You pushed yourself down the ladder and into the water.
It was hell, the water was cold and any joy you had before this had been sucked out of you. Your face said it all as a little farther in the distance you could her Adam laughing at you. You glared at him as you made your way over.
‘You good down there?’ He asked still laughing slightly.
‘No.’ You quivered, teeth chattering. ‘Help me up I’m freezing.’ You practically yelped but Adam looked down at you with a shit-eating grin.
‘Uh-no, I’m good.’ He smirked chuckling to himself.
‘Fu- frick.’ You cursed changing your word mid sentences. Christians don’t curse. ‘I’ll do it myself.’ You stated repeating the ‘I can do it’ mantra in your head. You pulled yourself up slightly your hands clasped on the edge as you pulled yourself further but Adam just had to be an asshole. Of course he did as he pushed his foot towards you and pushed it against your chest causing you to plummet backwards under the water.
As you resurfaced choking on the water you’d just inhaled Adam cackled at you and your predicament. You clasped at the side of the paddle board and you rubbed under your eyes blinking the water out of them to help you see.
‘Here babe.’ Adam calls helping you up and sitting you beside him. You open your eyes fully looking at him.
‘You got a little makeup.’ He states rubbing the black mascara marks on your cheeks away with his thumb. You lean into his touch as he cups your cheek and squishes it slightly. You push away and smile as him bring your knees close to your face. He scrunches his nose and pushes you back off the paddle board and jumps in. You screech as he swims away and you try to catch him. You play around with him till the other counsellors announce they are going back to shower. You stay back with Adam. It’s not like you could use the shower if Eve was in it.
Adam sighs as he lays back on the paddle board you previously sat on. You lay beside him tired out yourself. ‘I fucking hat it here.’ He groans placing his hands over his face. Your surprised ro hear him curse but you turn to him before turning your head back to the sky.
‘Any particular reason?’ You question trying not to pry but what can you your a major gossip. And a slut but that’s besides the point.
‘That fucker Lucifer and his soon to be wife Lilith the fucking snakes.’ He hisses. ‘Stole my fucking girl and now I have to see her everyday and get reminded that she fucked them.’ He went silent.
‘That sucks.’ You sigh. You don’t really have anything else to say apart from that. You weren’t really sure if anything you said with help.
‘Yeah it really does, but fuck her she’s missing out.’ He puffs his chest with somewhat pride. Okay he bounces back quick.
‘From what exactly? A virgin?’ You sneer, not with malice but more jokingly.
‘Who said I was a virgin?’ He yells, sitting up and dramatically looking at you. You have half the mind to tell you his mother told you but you don’t.
‘I can tell.’ You state back to him as he glares at you before looking away embarrassed.
‘And your not?’ He queries.
‘A virgin? Hell no, lost that a LONG time ago.’ You laugh at his shocked expression before an idea pops into your head.
‘Hey Adam?’
‘What?’ He questions.
“Wanna see something?” You question lips curling into a tight smirk. Adam nods hesitantly unsure of what kind of surprise you’d pull in the middle of the lake.
You slowly and carefully lifted down the top piece of your bikini exposing your breast and hardened nipple.
The shock on Adam’s face was all you needed to see as you swiftly lifted your bikini back up to cover yourself again and giggled.
You placed your hands on his shoulders to keep yourself afloat and giggled “Do you like that?” You mused. He sputtered on water as he tries to recollect himself. Was Sera sure this girl was Christian?
You giggled at him as you swum back, he followed in toe grabbing his stuff.
‘You know if you wanna learn I’ll teach you.’ He looked away obviously flustered before flipping you off and cussing you out. You started to walk off but before you did you turned around and spoke.
‘Oh yeah and Adam? You might wanna fix that before the meeting, not very professional you know?” You smirk suggestively, attempting to make eye contact with the more than flustered man to no avail. Turning on your heels you walked off back to your cabin to unpack the rest of your shit you hadn’t got to before orientation and shower before your dreaded meeting. You heard him yelling in the distance. Something about how you could only dream of sucking his dick? Maybe coming here wasn’t such a bad idea after all.
The meeting went by fine but you could see Adam stare at you every so often and his boner was gone. At least he knew how to do something you thought. As you sat by the campfire roasting marshmallows with your cabin and conversing. You could feel Adam’s gaze on you but you ignored it choosing to leave him to make the first move, which may take a while. So as you packed up for the night as walked back to the cabin hearing Adam call you wasn’t what you expected. His cabin was all packed in for the night as he walked towards you.
‘You forgot something earlier, come on it’s on our balcony.’ He mumbled dragging you along inside. The cabin layout was basically the same as yours and you could hear boys chattering and moving around and room light’s under closed doors. You walked towards the balcony with Adam. Walking outside he closed the door behind him and walked you over to where you couldn’t be seen behind the curtain.
‘What’d I l forget?’ You questioned. You didn’t remembering leaving anything but to be fair you we’re forgetful and didn’t realise until the last possible moment that you forgot something so.
‘This.’ He said approaching you and pulling you into him. He met your lips and kissed you. He placed his hands on your hips and picked you up placing you on the nearby table. You clung your arms around his neck pulling at his hair and deepening the kiss. He groaned as your tongues clashed together. He leaned you back breaking away from the kiss and sucking at your neck. Fuck you we’re gonna have to cover that but you didn’t have the willpower to make him stop as he moved down to between your legs. He looked up at you like a lost puppy. He didn’t know how to proceed.
You sat back up and undid your pants pulling them off. Adam copied and watched as you pulled down your underwear and showed him your pussy. He looked in awe.
‘Wanna eat me out?’ You asked. He nodded moving his hands to your thighs as you leaned back down.
Adam was hesitant at first but quickly got the hang of it as he licked up your clit. A moan escaped your mouth your legs threatening to close around his head. Adam suddenly gained momentum as he sloppily started making out with your pussy, sucking away at you as if he was drunk.
You bit down on your hand to prevent your moans from becoming louder and risking getting caught as Adam kept his pace as he tongue fucked your cunt and you could feel the pleasure start to pool in your stomach and you could feel yourself getting close.
Adam mumbled against your pussy ‘You taste so good.’ He whispered before continuing to kiss as your hole.
Adam’s nose moved against your cunt and you felt yourself beginning to release and you came undone around him moaning his name. Adam wasted no time in licking up your cum.
As he moved away from your still wet pussy you could see his erection outlining his boxers. He moved to your lips sloppily against his. You could taste yourself on him but you didn’t seem to care as he pulled away and pulled off his boxers.
Looking down his dick was girthy and totally big. Fuck were you in for it if he could figure out how to use it. But he’d never used his tongue and was still one of the only guys to make you cum so he has to be doing something right.
‘I’m not using a fucking condom so let’s hope I knock some fucking decency into you slut.’ He groans as he slides his dick into your cunt.
It feels electric as you ride on the ecstasy as Adam pumps inside of you. He knows what he’s doing as he whispers curses and nasty words at you.
‘You like that whore? Tell me how much you like it?’ He grunts pulsing inside you still as you babble incoherent sentences totally high on his dick.
‘Use your words baby.’ He whispers into your ear. ‘Does daddy make you feel good?’ He questioned. The use of the term daddy in any other scenario would make you cringe but the way Adam said it made it sound sexy.
‘Yes.’ You hissed as he continued thrusting into you and hitting your G spot just right and just like that you came undone under Adam for the second time that night. He might be a virgin but he KNOWS how to fuck. That’s for sure.
Adam came soon after right inside you. Kind of made you wish you weren’t on the pill so you could have his baby.
Adam practically came in buckets to put it bluntly. His head was lying on your shoulder as he pulled out of you and you could feel the cum running down your legs. Hopefully nobody seems. But you couldn’t say you didn’t exactly wish that. You hoped someone would see in a way. Getting caught is thrilling and especially at a Christian camp.
Recollecting yourself you pulled up your undies and felt Adam’s cum mixed with your own squelch against them as it rubbed up against your already sensitive clit. You choked back a moan as you pulled your jeans back up buttoning them.
You sat at the edge of the table waiting for Adam to speak as he dressed himself. He walked towards you situating himself between you legs and lifting your chin up to softly kiss you. You were entranced in the kiss when you heard someone calling your name.
‘Fuck I gotta go.’ You whispered hearing Eve call your name. You pecked at Adam’s lips as you slid off the table and opened the door. ‘Goodnight Adam.’ You mumbled, winking at him and closing it behind you and running out the door to meet Eve and drag her back inside with you.
Adam leaned back against the table. Fuck was that was amazing. Just as he was about to get up to go back inside someone came out to meet him. It was one of his campers. The ones he was responsible.
‘Hey um Adam?’ Isaac called. He hummed as he moved next to him. ‘I have something to ask you but it’s kind of awkward.’ He trailed off looking to the ground.
Adam smiled at him. ‘Ask away, I’m here to teach you and guide you.’ The way he spoke differentiated between the kids and the way he spoke to you. It was kind of comedic how fast he could switch up from being a manwhore to a holy man. Vast difference between the two but Adam could be both.
‘You see I keep falling into lust..’ He mumbled. ‘And I’m really trying not too but I find it really hard. And I guess I was wondering how to deal with it? How you’d deal with it?.’ He questioned. He sounded exasperated of all options at this point and Adam was proud to guide him in the right direction. To tell him what he would do.
Suddenly Adam’s stomach dropped. Wait what did he do? Lust is a sin. But not only lust, sex. Sex before marriage is a sin. He just committed one of the most terrible sins and felt no remorse until a fucking child asked him? Is he being serious?
What had Adam done? He’d went against his beliefs and what he stood for. His morals something he swore to never do till marriage with a girl he JUST met. What had he done? How could he make up for this? No, no no. This can’t be happening it’s not real. Adam stumbled over his words and talked about prayer and reading the Bible and how it really helps and sent Isaac back to bed and he thanked him profusely as Adam smiled but inside he felt suffocated. How could he guide children and help them when he was going against everything he and they believed in? Adam knelt down on the floor and prayed. I mean what else could he do?

moonlight and lace
For @steddieangstyaugust day 7 prompt, Moonlight. (Originally, it was for day 6, ‘who did this’ but then moonlight took over somehow, which gave me more time, too!)
Rating: M WC: 1880 Content warnings: kidnap, captivity, abuse, severe trauma, non-explicit horror and torture, unwanted touching, victim self-blaming, all dead dove, so yeah, I mean it, sorry! Tags: extreme angst with eventual hurt/comfort. No Upside Down AU.
Summary: That last night with Eddie, Steve did literally everything wrong… and then he went and got kidnapped and clings to fraying dreams of putting things right.
 …
Steve watched the strip of moonlight creep slowly across the cellar. With his thumb, he fretted his bloodstained lace cuff, freeing it from where it caught beneath his manacles.
Night time. Moonlight. A lump clogged Steve’s throat.
The moon had shone that last time he’d seen Eddie—not imagined, nor hallucinated, but properly laid eyes on his boyfriend, Eddie Munson. He and Eddie had kissed, and Steve had been in a rush. Crap, he’d been in a shitty mood, and he’d taken Eddie’s smoochy sweetness for granted.
Not anymore.
He’d relived each moment of that parting a thousand times over. Eddie had wound his arms around Steve’s neck and rubbed his face in Steve’s hair. “I could get high on you, Babe. Even without inhaling a lungful of Farrah Fawcett.”
Steve had wriggled free, and their last kiss had been rushed. He’d been cranky, tired, in a hurry to get home.
Now, Steve sniffled and shifted his aching bones. His chains didn’t allow him to lie flat, or even sit comfortably on the concrete floor. He’d literally trade his wretched life to press his clammy brow to a dry pillow. Or to snuggle beneath a warm blanket that would cut out the biting cold. Or to go back to that fateful evening with Eddie, and…
…not toss his entire world into a dumpster.
Because, somehow, this was Steve’s fault, right?
Scoops had been quiet the final hour of that final day, with only one or two lone customers. Robin had disappeared round the back of the store with Vickie, and Steve had gotten all intense with Eddie in a booth. His words had haunted him for… Shit, he didn’t know how long he’d been a prisoner here. He’d not scratched the days on the walls, like Dustin or anybody who wasn’t a braindead idiot would’ve done.
He’d just slowly lost count.
“It’s not that I don’t wanna be with you, Eddie,” he’d said, back in that booth, idly picking the fudge topping from their shared sundae. “It’s only that… Look, I always dreamed about a wedding and then family, and I just can’t wrap my head around how that’s gonna work with us. I mean, I know I’m only nineteen and all, but if we’re gonna foster or adopt, we have to think about this adult shit. And, seriously, I want a proper wedding, which isn’t even legal! Could be one day, though, and Robin says we need to make a stand about these things, so we gotta think about costume and—”
“Sssssh.” Eddie had pressed his fingertips to Steve’s lips. “We’ll make it work, Babe.”
Steve scowled, and Eddie’s warm touch slipped away. “You gonna give me more bullshit about marriage being a crypto-fascist institution?"
“Nope.” Eddie leaned closer and said, in a barely audible whisper, “That dude in the next booth is listening.”
Steve flicked his hair from his eyes, surreptitiously peeped. He couldn’t even see the accused guy’s face beneath his hooded top. “You’re the one who says we should be out and proud,” bitched Steve. “Why be a wuss about it now? Jesus!”
“It’s not that, Honey. He keeps staring at you, and I’ve seen him here before. He’s giving me the creeps.”
“Woah. Jealous?”
“Always. But I’m being serious for once.”
After that, Eddie had wanted to walk Steve back to his car. Of course, Steve had refused: “Like I need the Prince of Geek to defend my honor.”
They’d parted near the delivery entrance of Starcourt, and Eddie had walked away to his van. Steve had hurried toward his BMW alone, across the moonlit employee parking lot.
He’d been here, in this cellar, ever since. Long enough to understand that a future with Eddie would always have been beautiful. Might even have been that Winnebago and six little nuggets, and instead…
…there’d been that sickening crack across the back of his head and then nothing. Then worse than nothing.
In his prison, a flash of daylight between the broken shutters usually woke Steve. He’d often be ripped from a fevered dream about Eddie. He dreamed about his other friends, too, but it was always Eddie who he imagined coming to free him.
And when that too-bright light stirred him? His heart would thump like it was gonna burst through his ribcage and he’d blink the mists from his eyes.
For a magical heartbeat, Eddie would still be there, rushing toward him, arms open, eyes wide with forgiveness. Always forgiveness, because Steve craved that most of all.
“Who did this?” Eddie would ask, taking Steve’s face in his hands.
I did? I deserved it, Eddie, I…
Eddie would crumble to dust. The masked figure looming in Eddie’s place would grab Steve bodily, partially unchaining him, then hauling and twisting and shoving him toward the bucket and then… and then…
Some days, they’d strip that disgusting lacey wedding dress from him, sponge him down with ice-cold water, dress him again. Like he was a doll. Bending and manipulating him, the sicko would arrange Steve however he chose, because Steve was too weak to struggle. He was a ragdoll.
Steve had gotten good at shutting his mind down to the touching. He’d learned that skill fast—even in the early days, when they’d kept him in his Scoops uniform, and when he’d still tried to fight back.
Which never went well.
His movements were sluggish—he figured he’d been drugged, though his head hadn’t been right since they’d brained him behind Starcourt. Also in those early times, when he’d realized screaming meant more pain, he used to suck on that dumbass red neckerchief from his Scoops uniform. Recently, in the wedding dress, he’d battle to get to that grubby lace cuff, so he could bite and tear and chew.
That was his mornings. He was okay at night, though. Always left alone.
Until everything changed.
Steve heard shouting and thumping, the petrifying ratter-tat of gunshots, and then his own desperate cry, frail and distant. Then he froze completely, ragged nails gouging through the lace and into his palm. This was not the routine. Eddie was here and his face was eerily underlit by torchlight, rather than marbled by the moon, and it was wrong, all wrong, and…
…it’s not Eddie. It’s never Eddie. It’s HIM.
Steve attempted to curl into a ball, chains clinking, teeth grinding as he braced for… what? A gentle touch on his shoulder had his lungs jamming up.
“Hey, Steve? You with me?” The rumbling voice was distantly familiar. The smell… male and sweaty… different to that putrid musk he’d choked on too many times. “It’s me, Chief Hopper. You’re safe now, okay? We caught the crazy son-of-a-bitch, and we’re gonna get you out of here. You with me? You understand?”
Steve peeped up. Then screwed his eyes tightly shut. “Dream,” he whispered. The furnace-like heat of the other man’s body made him shiver violently.
“No, kid. I’m really here. You’re gonna be okay now.” Then, in an ear-splitting yell: “Hey? HEY! Where are those goddamn bolt-cutters? This kid is not in good shape.”
In the hospital, Steve fiddled with the IV drip then the bracelet they lopped about this wrist. He missed the tattered lace and he had to focus on something. Looking up into people’s faces was more than he could handle.
His friends were freaked by him. From the tail of his eye, he watched his parents gawking at him, like he was a china doll. Still a fucking doll. His mom squeezed his hand and it hurt way worse than it should. He bit his sore lip that, even now, refused to heal.
Eventually, he snatched a sharp inbreath, and glanced up at Robin. Her squeak reminded him of that cellar rat that’d bit his foot once. Drawing on every last ounce of his strength, he tried again and this time held her terror-struck gaze.
“Steve, um, sorry. It’s just this is the first you’ve looked at—"
“How long since they brought me here?”
“Uh… lemme think. Eight days?”
She’d turned ghostly white beneath her freckles. His heart heaved a dull thud. “Why hasn’t Eddie come to see me?”
“He has, Steve. He visits every day. They stopped letting him in. When you see him… I dunno, he triggers something bad. You totally flake out.”
“Oh.” What more was there to say? Other than, “Can you say sorry for me?”
“What for?”
“I… I honestly can’t remember, apart from... Oh God, please, Robin. You gotta help me. I need to see him.”
The next thing he knew, he’d flung his arms around her, and he was sobbing into her chest. She hugged back, rubbing juddering circles on his back. He didn’t remember the last time he cried. Then again, his memory had more holes in it than… a frayed lace cuff.
It felt like a century between when she left and when she came back. She held his hand loosely and said, “Eddie’s here, Steve. He’s real, I promise. It’s all real and you’re gonna get through this, and you’re gonna be okay.”
“Liar.” Steve smirked, then his mouth dropped open and turned dry. Eddie stood not two yards off, clutching the doorframe.
“Stevie, listen—I’ll never forgive myself for not walking you back to your car.”
“Seriously?” Steve shrank from Eddie’s tragedy-filled eyes. Panic jostled from every angle, especially as Robin released his hand and backed away. “Well... I guess it would’ve been cool to have some company in that basement.”
“Honey, how can you joke—”
“Gotta do something.” Steve fiddled with his wristband. He sensed Eddie edging closer.
Don’t lose your shit, Harrington. Say what you have to say. You thought about it long enough.
“Look, Eddie, I’m sorry. I’m really fucking sorry I was a bitch that night. I’m still up for kids, if I’m not too broken to be a parent, though you’re in luck on one thing. There’s no goddamn way I’m ever getting dressed up for a wedding.”
“I can’t laugh at that either,” said Eddie, “you’re sick, Baby.”
“Hah! No shit.”
Eddie enfolded Steve in his arms. He whispered that there was nothing to forgive. He’d known Steve was beat that night and had never been mad about it, even before Steve had been snatched. Anyhow, Eddie had apparently been dead cranky the day before it all happened, although Steve remembered nothing of that, and…
Steve tuned out. It was all too much. Thank Christ he hasn’t taken my face in his hands.
He pressed his cheek to Eddie’s shoulder, revelled in that fluffy hair, breathed deep of the scent of Eddie. Tobacco… A touch of cherry twizzlers? Really, truly, Eddie. The lights seemed to dim, and he watched the moonlight trickle through the hospital blinds.
Moonlight. Oh shit.
“This is real,” murmured Steve. “Right?”
...
(it is real, he really got rescued, okay? Unless you reeeeally wanted the angsty horror ending, but I say he escaped...)
Thanks for reading!

#43
It’s been three weeks since the hero saw their villain. None of the other heroes have arrested them, none of the superheroes have killed them—or at least not that they’re admitting. It’s been long enough to make the hero restless, and they figure they’ll have to be the one to find out where they’ve gone.
The hero isn’t proud of the fact they know where the villain lives. They found out by pure coincidence, honestly, and once they had the information it refused to leave their mind no matter how unprofessional they knew it was. They’ve never been here before—work stays at work, and they’re not coming all the way out here just for one villain—and today marks the first of them knocking on the door.
A hero announcing their arrival is clearly unexpected, since the villain answers the door looking mildly startled. The hero never imagined them to be so casual; their usual flowing coats and all-black, slender outfits are replaced with an oversized t-shirt and a pair of loose joggers.
“Oh my god,” is the opening the villain graces them with.
“Where the hell have you been?” the hero demands, and it’s only now that they’re saying it that they realise that it’s a little weird to ask. Why would they care?
“Why do you care?” the villain snaps like they read their nemesis’s mind. “It’s none of your business where I’ve been.”
“It is when my job is on the line because the city’s most prolific criminal is missing,” they retort shortly, and the villain scoffs.
“Well, you know I’m here now, so you’re welcome. Bye.” The villain starts to swing the door shut but the hero catches it, their foot caught between the door and the frame. They don’t want to admit how heavy the door is. They can feel the bruise forming already.
“Absolutely not.” The hero shoves themself through the doorway a little in an effort to stop the villain from their valiant attempts to shut them out. “Why’d you disappear for so long? What kind of evil scheme are you planning?”
“Just wanted some time off!” the villain cries with a surprising amount of dismay as the hero slips into their house. “I don’t know why you’re coming in, there’s nothing to see in here.”
The place is oddly domestic and well-kept. It seems that the villain is strangely… tidy. “And that makes me suspicious. There’s definitely something in here.” The hero beelines for the door across the hall from them and the villain tries desperately to stop them.
“God, I should’ve answered the door with my knife like I usually do.” The villain makes a last ditch effort to pull the hero away as they slowly push the door open. “I need my dignity intact, please don’t—”
The door creaks on its hinges, and the noise is met with small, heartfelt shrieks. It takes the hero a moment to realise the sound is coming from below them, and a glance down reveals several tiny, ferociously meowing kittens.
“Jesus Christ,” the villain mutters as the hero takes in the sight. One of the kittens is already attempting to climb their leg, sharp claws digging into their thigh.
“Is… is this where you’ve been?” the hero asks uncertainly. It feels like they’ve come to the wrong house—the place is so nice, and home to a flurry of kittens who’ve all decided to hop on the trend of climbing the hero like a tower. The only indicator that they did get it right is the fact the villain is here at all, looking particularly flustered as they try and pull some of the claws out of the hero’s suit.
“That’s none of your business,” the villain snaps coldly over the racket of kittens yowling for attention, “but maybe.”
“Why’s there so many of them?” The hero gasps like they just put the pieces together. “Wait, the cats are going to be part of whatever plan you’re putting together!”
“That’s the dumbest idea you’ve ever had. Glad you think so highly of me.” The villain dumps a kitten on the floor, which immediately starts its climb again. “But no. I’m a villain, not an immoral freak. The kittens are just fosters for a few weeks.”
A couple of the kittens have taken to trying to climb the villain now, and they just let it happen. “I can’t believe this. You put everything aside for cats?”
“Yeah, they need feeding every few hours.” One of the kittens has reached their shoulder in record-breaking time, snuggling into the crook of their neck. “Can’t exactly go and whoop your ass in that kind of time. I have to be here until I send them off again.”
The hero can only stare as the villain gives the cat on their shoulder a scratch under its chin, and it purrs so loud it sounds like TV static. “This one’s my favourite,” the villain continues idly. “He’s called Beanie, but I think Harbinger of the Apocalypse suits him better.”
The cat’s purr somehow gets louder as if he agrees, and the hero raises their eyebrows. “Okay, there is still villainy at play here. Naming an animal like that is cruel.”
“He likes it!” the villain defends, but there’s an uncharacteristic softness to their tone. “I might keep him anyway, so I’ll get to name him whatever I want.”
The hero hates this. The sight of the villain, dressed down, normally, with a tiny kitten perched on their shoulder and leaning into their fingers, it’s—Jesus, it’s making them soft. They can’t believe this is making them reconsider how they see the villain.
“It’s kind of unfair that you stay here while I do the dirty work in the city,” the hero points out, and the villain frowns slightly, finally tearing their gaze from the kitten. “I’ll go half and half on the care with you if you actually go back out and let the agency know you’re not planning to end the world.”
The villain squints at them suspiciously. “Is this an excuse to rummage through my house?”
“You have a pretty good security system.” The hero gestures to the kittens clamouring over them. “I just need you to save my job, please. I know you keep everything at your lair, anyway.”
The villain scowls as if this is somehow a bad thing, but after a moment they nod. “Alright. I’ll write down everything they need and when, and we’ll take it in turns. I need a break, anyway—they’re needy.”
The hero smiles, and the relief that they don’t have to worry about the agency’s paranoia anymore is overwhelming. The kittens might even provide some much needed stress relief. “Perfect.”

Water, Undines, and Nymphs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
O Vastness wherein all the Rivers of Being seek to lose themselves, which renew themselves ever in thee. O Ocean of infinite perfections!
I love the water, the sea, and all the spirits of water are amazingly beautiful but somewhat dangerous!
Working with water element and undine is an interesting work, on multiple front it is both a tricky topic to deal with because the water is the channel of communication with spirits and reflective of our own nature. If we come knocking on water's door and say this, that without respect to anything then we are asking that demanding nature to be reflected on us and the spirit themselves would be more demanding of us. Water and water spirits really reflect what put into it, it is the channel, the mirror, the fluid, and all the forces and qualities we give it, it gives it back. That's WHY the traditions have moral codes and ethical teachings to allow us to come to the spirits truthfully, honestly, and confident in them would lead them to be confident in us. If we come from a religious or a pious approach then the spirits of water will come pious and religious!
Emotions
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's the first thing people think about when they think of water, water elementals, undines, and nymphs. Of course there's more to it than just the emotional aspect but also hearing, talking, and listening about this first is better than bringing it later on. Watery emotions as most of them are the fluids that animate us, that truly are e-motions, give us that motion stirring out of spiritual fluids. The Water is that animated movement of our divine spark and without we would be dull and jaded, we can easily restrict and cause stagnation if we are not careful. Then what? the water become this toxic, stagnant, stale water full of bugs, mold, and gunky growing inside of it :( similar to the real world stagnant water, when our emotions and spiritual water become stagnant then it become a breeding ground for astral larave and toxic parasitic spirits to feed off our jaded and barely flowing water. It doesn't matter if you get worked up, loosen up because in the end where does it matter? when it reach the fruition of it. If you imagine the stuff at the "start" and the "end" of it, that's where your emotions is most important but in the middle you can let it transform and transform you alongside it. If you try to micromanage the flow of your emotion at every step of the way then you would strangle it but that doesn't mean you shouldn't start positively and choose in the end if the emotion is worth expressing outwardly or not.
River of Enlightenment and Stream.
Tumblr media
Sotāpanna or stream entry, a term of someone who have entered the stream of enlightenment in buddhism. It is very similar to the way traditions operate in the worlds. We can often get lost in the "it's all the same" or the over syncretism without the important thing, which mean that you have to follow through the stream, go down the stream into the ocean. You can't just say "oh they're all the same streams leading to same ocean". Walk it out, go through it, that's a motivating thing to say that despite how shallow or how thin and weak your connection to the supreme reality, to God, to guru, to Jesus, or to the divine providence you can foster it. That's the wonderful thing you have the chance no matter how far you're from Divinity to draw yourself and walk toward it and gain the blessings of it, you just have to follow that refreshing stream of water. Next week...Sylphs and Air.
Holy, oblique, who swiftly soar thro' air, Fountains and dews, and mazy streams your care: Seen and unseen, who joy with wand'rings wide And gentle course, thro' flow'ry vales to glide; With Pan exulting on the mountains height, Loud-founding, mad, whom rocks and woods delight: Nymphs od'rous, rob'd in white, whose streams exhale The breeze refreshing, and the balmy gale;

Imagine your yandere astartes as their miniature versions in the husbandry verse. And their darlings are their baseline human companions who fostered them.
See you wanna know what the horrifying thing is. I know for your version of Husbandry they're all mini... mine are all canonical heights aka full blown astartes. Lets see if I can make them work in a platonic setting (spoiler probably not) ((NOT SORRY FOR TULIO))
What is Canon: the "fostering"
SO LETS GO
Azazel She jumped as the Dark Angel leered around the corner just being a creepy ass Dark Angel. Foster an Astartes it will help with adjustment back to civilian life. They said... "Jesus Christ Azazel. Stop that." She grumbles just pushing past him eager to get this fostering over with.
Dark Angels were notorious in fostering, not because they were human killers... but because they would just up and leave or hardly interact with the human until their allotted time was up. Azazel was like that at first but then he started to stalk her.
She limps to her couch as her leg seizes up slightly... damn nerve and muscle damage. She covers her eyes as she claws the arm of the couch but she soon feels thick fingers against her leg slowly loosening the muscle and she looks to him as she sighs out a thanks not hearing his muttered 'You're welcome.'
Palion She was a MUSE! A darling! A GODDESS! Palion could feel it! The special thing that his human having brothers fawned over. He was certain he felt it for her even if she stayed inside so often. She told him one day as she was brushing his hair that she only did this to try to stop feeling alone after the accident. He bleeds for her plight as her home was so barren and plain it was his job to bring LIFE to it and Palion did.
He beamed over her small smiles and the little victories. Oh he was fostering her more than she was fostering him but this is what he was made for! He was certain of it... had not everything gone to shit he would be some place with a broken muse tending to her.
"Palion... maybe we can go outside for a small walk today." She spoke and he trilled with excitement.
Harram He looked to Farum as he knows he wasn't her first choice to occupy her time as Harram wasn't foolish he could tell she was still in mourning. And he could feel a fledgling bond flutter between them but she was trying her best to keep a happy face even when at night he could hear her sob at night.
Harram simply spoke to her and embraced her tightly as she just needed to be reassured. He would help shore up the fortress of her heart. The siege of death was always a hard one and he was here to help shore up the holes and build a better fortress as that is what he was there for.
Arkyn He picked you up and just nuzzled the back of your head. You have a feeling you've met this Space Wolf once before when you were a young woman maybe a teenager but it doesn't matter as he wraps you up in pelts just burying you in a nest made of pelts wanting to show off how well he has done during hunting season.
She yawns sleepily as the cozy little cabin feels so snug and lived in with Arkyn taking up the lead as hunter letting her focus on other things that when she would do her stints of survival off the grid left her rushing to complete before winter. She enjoyed the way he provided for her in a way she never felt like the world ever could.
Of course this would all probably end by spring time... but it was worth this momentary happiness.
Ghosk "Ghosk you little shit!" His darling said as he cackled loudly his wings folded on his back as he held her phone out of reach.
No date for you! He crooned in Nostraman to her as she tried to climb up him reaching for her phone.
"Ghosk I swear to God-"
"Swear! Swear! Swear!" He laughs repeating the word in a mocking tone.
She seethed as Night Lords were known for their habit of copying words and using it to scare people. She threw up her hands, "FINE you win I won't go out tonight! Happy?!"
"Very." He purred and pulled her into a wing hug.
Sirus He saw his moonlight in the pale moonlight and she broke him of his black rage. He saw her look at him with concern before he was swarmed by his brothers deathly afraid that he was approaching her to kill her. He had to find her after! His brothers were helpful and she agreed to foster him to see if she was wanting a bond with him.
He was so thirsty but no blood he drank seemed to quench him but as he cuddled and kissed her neck he could feel his fangs ache as he just wanted a small taste... a little nibble... and he hears her groan under him as he nips hard enough to draw blood and he licks her skin greedily.
"Si... Si stop." She says breathlessly... covering her eyes with an arm... as she tries to separate herself from the blood angel but he holds her under him as their bond strains to remain a simple bond. Her blood is so addictive... and he tries to resist but he leans her head back as he sinks his fangs in and just drinks a little.
Vauth "Fucking machine." She grumbled as she put her palms against her eyes as she leans back in the seat. She wasn't even suppose to be working she was busy fostering a case of an Iron Hand. He was flagged as a worry to be a human killer... feral Iron Hands were prickly like feral Dark Angels.
Vauth lumbers into her workshop as she is tapping on her machine just googling some troubleshooting. She sighs looking over at him, "Hey big guy I'm sorry about this. No wait what are you doing put it down!" Byte says as she watches how he plugs himself in.
She watches the screen as soon it's no longer stuck on the crash log and suddenly back on the desktop. She cocks her head before looking up at him. "Good job! Thank you! You saved me hours of-"
Byte yelped as Vauth picked her up as he felt it was time for him to get his socializations met.
Zul Zul wasn't a human killer by any means but every decade or so they had to go through a "fostering" to insure feral astartes weren't human killers unless one had a prior "registered" bond. Zul snorted at the logistics that the Ultramarines came up with and how it worked for the most part. Though he wasn't expecting to "bond" with this little darling. She's a bit timid at the world but her gentle hands touching him... the nails don't dig too deeply. She mutters something about getting them removed but she just withers under his gaze.
He picks her up and just lets a rumble slowly meander its way out of his chest... she needs to talk less and just enjoy this. And as usual she stops fretting and just lets him hold her.
Tulio She was confused why he was so anxious as she was told Ultramarines were a haughty breed... confident... but he looks at her like he's nervous. For Tulio he wasn't sure if this is what a bond entailed as suddenly this small humble woman came into his life and he felt like a mess!
He wanted to hold her tightly against him! He wanted to pepper her with kisses! He felt the bond yes but when he saw her his mind raced to something far more then just a bond! He was worried to touch her or be in her presence for too long or else he was certain that he would do something... unsavory. But a part of him hopped... she would reciprocate.
Solos He croaks the same word to you again and again whenever he sees you. You're a skilled enough handler and a semi feral Death Guard was a... challenge. However he seemed to warm up to you rather quickly. Though ever since getting Sol... you've been a bit more tired and weaker but Sol has been happy. You wonder what he calls you... you hope it's not some insult.
"Well Sol you're with me for another week and then you're free to go. Though you're free to come and go big guy." She says petting his cheek as he croons back.
Oh Lovie... I aint ever leavin ya. He purrs into your hand.
Nakht She sighs as her Macaw dances on her shoulder before free flying over to Nakht just talking to him in high gothic. Betrayed by her own bird! Nakht had it made as his darling ran a bookstore! And one that could cater to his tastes as it made him a rather important figure amongst his brothers seeking knowledge... yes it gave him power! But he rumbled to her in his honey dulcet tones.
"Oh stop you trying to butter me up!" You pout playfully as he comes over kissing your temple and then stealing a sip of your hot chocolate as he tells her, what she assumes, about some magical theory beyond her understanding and of course telling her all of those probably smart and fancy words she doesn't understand. She just nods and smiles letting him be his big smarty pants self.
Zhur He was spared being "culled" by one of his kin who had bonded with a human. This Dolly woman intrigued him as she was tough and hardly took his nonsense. His brother explained to him the bare minimum he needed to do to simply stay alive. He remembers his prophet talking about how they warped the mind.
He might not feel that overwhelming desire... that anxious energy that seems to overtake his brothers and his cousins but he feels a different sort of bond forming. He shudders as she is so willing to let him hold her close as he is slightly touch starved.
He croons such filthy words to her in gothic as she just sits there listening to him unaware of what he says and he doesn't mind that be the case.
Jihias Word Bearers loved to learn about religions! And Jihias was eager to learn. He grinned at his Lamb, as he was calling her in his mind, she had decided to give him a chance. As he was spared from a culling and he realizes... he was so wrong! He could feel this bond he was told so much about with his Lamb... his precious little lamb. His demon wasn't with him... he couldn't feel him as strongly but if he listened hard enough he could hear its whispers.
And they told him to devour the Lamb. He crooned to her as she was sat by the window drinking her afternoon tea just preaching to her about demons and other things as he still would try to get her to worship the chaos gods but... he also enjoyed this lesser key of Solomon book as well. She smiles against the rim of her teacup before she closes her eyes and his eyes look at her with a different sort of passion then his normal religious zeal.
Nubin Bev pats the older Salamander as he is just content at relaxing with her. He talks softly to her being a bit of a bastard as he was a stubborn old Salamander but protective of her.
"Yeah don't worry old guy I don't think anything bad will happen to you... just remember you can always just come by."
He rumbles softly holding her close as he closes his eyes to nap until dinner time.
Sor, Kazi, & Moremo You originally were only fostering Sor and the other two just showed up. Sor enjoyed having them around so you had stopped trying to separate the flock. Though you made them have a nice roost and a cozy place for the three of them... you wake up as Kazi's head is against your stomach... your legs on Moremo's... and your head on Sor's pectoral. You found yourself being dragged into their nest any time you make the mistake of falling asleep on the couch.
"Boys please I need to get up." You groan but you just feel them hold you tighter... Oh maybe you can just get your morning coffee in thirty more minutes...
Alpharius? Omegon follows his Vixen as she pulls out cans of spray paint as the cold night air nips at her. She leaves her tag as he stumbled upon this darling on accident while on another job watching someone else... she was a hacker, an rebel, a free thinker! She just got trapped in his web! And Omegon wasn't willing to let her go.
He feels her lean against him, "I think I've gotten better at spray painting! Not bad for a novice right?"
He looks and chuckles as it's a highly stylized Alpha legion symbol and pets her head. "Good girl. Lets go before your cuteness attracts too much attention."
"You know that's a lame excuse."
"Its a viable threat where I'm from."
"Right big guy. I think you're just a bad flirt." She says with a laugh as he just laughs softly walking away into the shadows.
Roland She was a Bäckerin! Roland wasn't bothered by the ungodly hour as they walked into the back of the bakery and Roland sighed as it smelt like a warm blanket from his childhood. He let his chest rumble in enjoyment as the scents of freshly baked bread would permeate into his robes and linger in his hair. He could let himself be lazy for a moment just letting himself a slow languid yawn as he feels all warm and fuzzy around her. And a part of him hoped that this good dream would never end... or maybe this was a sign for things to come? He sighs happily.
Tyberos? Ophelia looks at the giant Astartes in her back yard. She swallows softly as she was certain it was a Night Lord stalking her house but a Carcaradon... they're an odd variety of Loyalist. He looks inside of her one story home as he had tapped on her window. He huffs down at her confused as to why he is here but something in his blood moved his feet to here.
She gently touched his hand just trying to soothe him as he doesn't appear or act like a human killer. Tyberos rumbled in his chest as he has been lurking around for awhile and only recently he felt something call to him. She smiles up at him as her words are soft and soothing... And before Ophelia knew it... she was gone from her room and her house. Astartenapped
Taggin ya'll because I know you love the yandere boys @bispecsual @egrets-not-regrets @moodymisty

We're A Family Part 14 (Steddie X You)
Tumblr media
A/N: I'm not sorry for the cliff hanger esc ending 😈
I'm going to use this opportunity here to say thank you to the step parents, partners, siblings, foster parents, adoptive parents...all y'all raising children who aren't biologically yours...you are amazing and deserve love and appreciation. The woman I call mom is technically my stepmom but she has been more a mom to me than my own. She showed me how mothers are supposed to be and I love her everyday for that <3.
Warning: Smut, FLUFF, and slight angst, Mr. Harrington pops up making a brief verbal cameo , Eddie mentions an incident about Steve's past heartbreaks as well as briefly (very brief) touches on his life right after moving in with Wayne, I think that's it.
Word Count: 3535
“Does he have to wear a suit?”, Eddie asks as he browses the clothes on the rack above him.
“I mean he doesn’t have to but it is his first date technically so…”, Steve grins as Dylan rolls his eyes.
You had already done the whole mom thing where you cried for ten minutes straight because your “baby” was growing up and asked a girl on a date to a dance. When he asked the guys to take him clothes shopping, he had hoped to avoid more of that, thankful when you offered to stay home and watch Aurora.
“Calm down. I’m not going to coo at you and tell you how big you’ve gotten.”, the man teases as he playfully reaches for his son’s cheeks.
“I don’t think I should wear a suit. I don’t want to seem…overeager.” Dylan’s eyes scan the shirts in front of him. “What did you guys wear on your first dates?”
“Jesus, um…”, Eddie’s eyes fly to ceiling as he thinks. “Jeans and a Guns & Roses t-shirt, if I’m not mistaken.”
“Of course, that’s what you wore.”, Steve chuckled.
“Hey! We were like eleven and went to a movie. It wasn’t anything fancy. What about you, sire? I imagine you came out of the womb with a date the next day.” The metalhead smiled as Dylan laughed.
“For your information, my first date was in 6th grade. I took a girl to the Snowball dance. And yes…I wore a suit.”
“Oh, please tell me there are pictures in a box somewhere at home.”
“No, thank God.”
“We can ask grandma.”, Dylan smiles mischievously.
“I swear, if either of you ask my mother for pictures—”
“Oh! You’ll what?”, Eddie joked.
“I’ll…be very upset.”
“Uh huh.”
****
“Do we have to watch it again?”
“Yes!”, Aurora giggles.
You laugh at her smile as you replay “The Empire Strikes Back” on the tv. “Yeah. I’m glad you’re happy. I’m going to kill your dad.”
Just like Dylan had with Harry Potter, Ro seemed to attach to Star Wars. Steve was watching “A New Hope” one afternoon and she sat beside him the entire time completely transfixed. Ever since then she insisted on watching anything you would allow that was Star Wars related.
“Beep, Beep!”, she mimicked as the front door opened and your three boys came through.
“Star Wars still?”, Steve asked.
“I hate you. This is your fault.”, you laugh as you quickly rose to your feet. “Sooooo, what did we get?”
“You’ll see.”, Dylan smiles. “Are you guys still chaperoning?”
“Well, I don’t have a choice being a teacher and my boss volunteered me.”
“That’s the spirit, Harrington!”, Eddie chuckles as he wraps his arm around the boy’s neck. “Yes, we will still be there and we promise not to embarrass you…much.”
“Yeah, yeah. I’m going to go call Daisy and tell her what I got.”
You three watch as he excitedly runs up the stairs before you lightly smack Steve’s arm. “What did he get?”
“I can’t tell you!”
“Call it payment for me watching those movies back-to-back with our three-year-old instead of me murdering you.”
“Oh… you won’t murder me. You love me too much.”
########
Dylan watches his dads with intense fascination as they get ready, occasionally getting distracted when he heard his sister say something cute as she helped you get ready out in the bedroom.
“Mama hair up.”
“Yeah? Here can you brush it for me so I can pull it up?” Aurora grins excitedly when you hand her the brush.
“When it comes to hair, kid, you should let Steve take the reins on that one.” Eddie smiled as he moved out of the way and allowed Dylan space in front of the mirror so the man could show him some techniques.
“Oooo… Din purty.”, Ro compliments him before waddling to the metalhead. “Daddy! Mama…tie…for hair.”
“Mommy needs a hair tie?” She nods aggressively as he reaches across the sink to get her what she’s asking for. “Here you go, princess.”
“Tank you, daddy.”
“You’re welcome, baby.” His eyes follow after her as she grins and runs back into the bedroom.
“Alright, little man. What do you think?”
Dylan turns his head from side to side as he checks out his hair. “I love it. Mom! What do you think?”, he asks as he steps out of the bathroom.
“Oh my god!”, you squeak making the boys laugh.
“She likes it.”, Steve confirms as he sprays some of his cologne on himself before giving his son a little spritz on his wrist.
“Wow. Bubaful.”, Aurora coos as they all come out together.
Dylan had decided to not to wear a suit but a nice button up shirt with a small black tie hanging down his front. Still wanting to have some remnants of himself, he decided on wearing his converse with the black jeans he bought fully rounding out his ensemble. He actually looked like he tried to fuse Eddie and Steve’s style together.
Steve threw on a blue polo with some black slacks and shiny matching shoes. Eddie was donning a plain black shirt with black jeans like Dylan’s and sneakers.
“Aw, look at my guys.”, you grin as you climb off the bed.
You were wearing a stunning, casual blue dress with a cute floral print with similar color flats.
“You look beautiful, honey.”
As the doorbell rings, Ro claps her hands. “Kee!”
“Yes, that would be Aunt Kierra. Here, go open the door and make her feel old.”, you giggle as you push Dylan towards the stairs.
Eddie picks up his daughter as you four head down as well.
“Really? Of course, everyone looks good.”, Kierra whines playfully. “Hi Rara.”
“Kee.” She aggressively wiggles out of her father’s arms to run to her aunt.
“Ah yes. Fun aunt is here and now we don’t matter.”, you smile as you give your sister a hug. As you pull away you notice her own grin turn into a line. “Uh oh. What happened?”
“I’ll tell you later.”
“You’ll tell me now.”
“Dylan, can you take this dork and turn on those god-awful movies she likes?” You son laughs as he grabs his sister and carries her into the living room. “So, Mr. Harrington, the evil one not this one here, went to visit our mother the other day.”
You sighed as Steve gently ran his palm down your back.
“Y/N, you think his dad was upset about you changing your name? Oof. Mom called me screaming saying you were taking it too far. She said she was going to call Charlie and side with him if he decided to go to court…” Her sympathetic eyes met yours. “I didn’t tell her…about him…ya know.”
“I should go talk to her—”
“Well that’s not happening.”, Eddie interrupts. “Sweetheart, do you really think talking to her is going to do any good? She doesn’t care. Now Steve’s dad… he can’t do anything right?”
Steve shook his head. “I mean what can he do? I have no inheritance from his side. Unless he wants to fight my mom. I don’t know. I think it’s more of an image thing now. Two kids with half his name and they aren’t…pure Harringtons.”
Your heart breaks as you listen to him speak. You know how much he hates this conversation. Aurora and Dylan are his kids; no ifs, ands, or buts about it. However, his father and your mother insist on finding little ways to remind him that both children don’t have an ounce of his DNA.
In a court of law, if you both left him, he would have zero say in where the kids go. Steve understood that would never happen. You both loved him and he loved you. This was his family but those little technicalities always loomed especially when other people brought them to light.
“Jesus. And our mom thought the Munson’s would be the biggest problem in this dynamic.”
Eddie sticks his tongue out at Kierra who chuckles as she comes around to give him a hug.
“Hey guys. Can we go now? I don’t want to be late.”, Dylan asks as he comes around the corner.
“Yes. Sorry. We got distracted by life. Let’s get a move on.” Painting a smile on your face, you grab your dates and head of the door.
##########
You snuck a picture from your place in the car as you three watched Dylan shyly shuffle up to his date who had been waiting at the front door of the school. Something he says makes her laugh and she blushes as he extends his elbow to her like he had seen the guys do numerous times. She grins, looping her arm in his before heading into the dance.
“What was your first date?”, Eddie asked as he leaned forward from his place in the backseat.
“Oh my god. I think I was about Dylan’s age. A boy asked me to dinner and a movie. Of course, dinner was some fast-food joint and we snuck into the movie but…”, you giggle. “I had fun. What are you guys going to do when Aurora starts dating?”
“Kill them.”, the metalhead pretends to glare into the distance making you and Steve laugh.
“Can we not think about our daughter dating? I don’t think I can handle that right now. I can barely handle this.” Steve continues to chuckle as both men get out of the car and open the door for you.
“Thank you guys for helping him pick out an outfit and getting him ready.”
“You don’t have to—”
You cut Eddie off with a kiss as you wrap your arms around him. “I know I don’t have to. Just let me, okay?”
“Yes ma’am.”
As you entered the dance, Steve had to detach from you two to tell his boss he was there and offer any assistance they may need. You and Eddie snuck a little closer to where the kids were, smiling when you say your son and his date sitting at a table talking. You can’t help but laugh when “Come Sail Away” by STYX begins to play.
“Isn’t this way outside of their generation? It’s barely in ours.”
“Eh, I’m sure they have to play it as safe as possible.”, the metalhead grins as he takes your hand and pulls you towards the edge of the dance floor where some of the other adults were swaying to the music. Your arms wrap around his neck as he clings to your waist.
“So, you and Steve would have went to school here to, right?”
“You are correct but we didn’t really hang out till high school.”
“Do you remember him?”
“Oh, princess, everyone knew who Steve Harrington was. King Steve with his awesome fashion sense and cool head of hair. I fucking hated him.”, Eddie chuckles. “Something changed his junior year. He started seeing this girl and I think she changed his perspective on some things. By senior year, he was a new man more or less.”
“What happened to the girl?”
“They broke up. She, uh, told him she didn’t love him.”
“Aw. Poor Stevie.” Your eyes shifted towards him, watching as he talked to some of the other teachers. “What about little Edward Munson. What was he like at school here?”
“Oof. Angry. Confused. Nerdy.”, he laughs. “I had been living with Wayne for a little under a year at this point. I was still trying to figure things out and this town sure as hell didn’t make it any easier.” You lean up on your toes to kiss his lips before resting your cheek on his chest. “I think the one good thing that came out of middle school was me getting into D & D. I thought it was amazing and gave me a place I could escape to.”
The music picked up tempo and you grinned as you watched Dylan walk his date to the dance floor. Eddie twirls you in his arms and your grin grows as you both dance along to the faster beat. You don’t see it but Steve pulls out his phone and begins recording his little family having fun.
“Dylan is yours, right?”, asks one of his colleagues.
“Yeah, that’s my son.”, he beams before pointing towards you and Eddie. “That’s my wife and husband.”
She tilts her head at his statement but he doesn’t notice nor care. He’s having too much fun watching you three.
##########
“Well, look at this.”, the metalhead grinned as he looked around the classroom. “The kid who was bad in class actually has his own classroom.”
Steve thought it would be a good idea for you guys to walk around a bit and allow Dylan some time alone with his date without you in the room so he decided now would be a good time to show you his room that you two hadn’t got to see yet.
“I wasn’t bad…I just didn’t care.”
You smiled at him as you wrapped your arms around his waist, giggling when you feel something vibrate.
“Is that me or you?”
He grins as he pulls out his phone before it gradually begins to fade. “My father is calling me.” You take the phone out of his hand and place it on his desk, allowing it to ring as you bring his lips to yours.
“I love you. No matter what he or my mom says.”
“I know.”
“I know you know but I also know…sometimes when he says things…it still hurts you.”
“Like Aurora and Dylan not being Harringtons.”, Eddie cut in. Steve’s phone went silent but after a few moments yours started to ring, grinning sassily as you flashed him the screen. “Do you think we should go for gold and see if he calls me?”
You handed the metalhead your phone. “Do with it what you will, my love.”
He raises his eyebrows playfully in your direction before placing the device to his ear. “Mr. Harrington! How can the Munson-Harrington family assist you today?”
“Where is my son? I need to speak with him NOW!”
“Uh, last I checked, you hadn’t spoken to Steve in three years. When did he become your son again and what do you need from him?”
Your hand reaches out to grip Steve’s chin, turning him to face you. “Look at me, baby. Let Eddie handle him and you focus on me.” He exhales heavily as you palms slide down his chest. “We won’t get in trouble, right?”
“Not if we don’t get caught.”
He lifts you into his arms and places you on his desk, lips mingling with your own as your limbs circle around his neck.
“Is this the real reason you wanted to show us your classroom?”, you tease as he smiles.
“I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’ve fantasized about bending you over my desk.”
“Then do it, Steve. Please. I’m yours, baby.”
His fingers fumbled with his zipper as you lifted your hips to pull your underwear down your legs, grinning when you toss them to Eddie who sticks his tongue out as he catches them. Your eyes gesture towards the closed door and he gets the message, heading that way to keep a look out.
“Mr. Harrington, no. Dylan IS Steve’s son. He loves him and has helped raise him for half his life so far. I know that’s a foreign concept to you since you don’t know what actually raising a child looks like.”
Steve turns you till your back is to him and you lean over his desk as he grips your hips, guiding his cock into your entrance. Your eyes flutter closed as he thrusts into you, hitting that spongy spot deep inside of you making you moan.
“Y-yes, Steve. Fuck.”
All sound drowns out of the room as he leans his chest down to your back and wraps his arms around you.
“Does that feel good, honey? My dick—mmm—deep inside you like this.”, he mewls into your ear. “Tell me, baby.”
“Your cock is so deep. F-feels so good…please.”
“Do you think you can be quiet if I fuck you harder? You wouldn’t—fuck—you wouldn’t want us to get caught, right?”
You shake your head and he smiles as he lifts his arm up your body till its nestled under your chin. Your back arches as he roughly rolls his hips against yours at a faster pace.
“Mr. Harrington, I’m not going to lie, I didn’t hear a word you said mostly because I don’t care but also because I’m watching Steve fuck our wife and, as always, it’s the hottest fucking thing in the world. Now if you will excuse me, I’m going to let them finish and then most likely cum in his pretty little mouth. Fuck off and leave our family alone.”
With that, Eddie hangs up the phone and tosses it to the side as he unzips his pants, pulling out his own cock as he strokes it to the sight of you both.
“Cum, baby. Be my good girl and cum for me, honey.” Steve grunted when your pussy clenched tighter around him, his palm quickly moving to cover the loud moan that escaped your mouth. “You like that? Mmm—you like me calling you a good girl?”
You place your hand over his, feeling his alone won’t stifle the continuous whimpers that you pant out as he continues to whisper in your ear. The coil in your tummy snaps as you lean your head back against his shoulder and grip his hair through your fingers.
“That’s it. That’s it, Y/N. Fuck, you’re so…so fucking…beautiful.” His arms cling to your body as you feel him thrust his release into your cunt. Neither of you moves as you both try and catch your breath. “Are you ok?”
You nod as you gesture towards the groaning metalhead. “He…he may need you though.”, you say with a knowing smile.
Steve gradually pulls out of you, kissing your cheek before tucking himself back into his pants and sauntering towards Eddie. They exchange a soft kiss, the man smiling as he descends to his knees and takes his cock into his awaiting mouth.
You search the desk, finding the tissue you were looking for, and use it to clean between your legs. After readjusting your dress, you slide up beside them and Eddie hastily brings your lips to his. When he turns away, you continue to trail kisses along his neck and jawline.
“Fuck, Steve. Don’t…don’t move.”
His palms come down and hold the boys head by his hair as he pumps his hips. You cover his mouth as a strangled grunt leaves his lips and his body folds in slightly as he climaxes. Steve milks him, licking every last drop till the boy was clean before rising to his feet.
Their eyes meet and Eddie gave him a big tooth filled grin. “So, your dad says hi.”
########
“Did you have fun, baby?”
“Yeah, mom. I did. I asked Daisy to a movie next Friday. Is that ok?”
“Uh, I don’t see why not.”
You sister smiles as you for walk into the house. “I don’t know what you did but Mr. Harrington isn’t returning our mother’s calls.”
“Good. One less thing to worry about I guess.”, Eddie grins. “Where’s Ro?”
“She knocked out about an hour ago. I was afraid to move her and wake her up.” She gestures towards the living room and he heads that way, carefully lifting her sleeping frame in his arms. He pauses at Kierra’s side allowing her to kiss her niece’s forehead.
As she leaves, Dylan gives her a big hug before running upstairs and Steve throws himself down on the couch as you begin locking up the house.
“Shit. Hey, baby. Can you bring me my phone? I want to send my mom some of the pictures I took tonight.”
“Yeah, of course.”, you smile as you grab his phone from the counter. “Can I send myself some so I can send them to Kierra?” He nods and your smile grows as you unlock his device.
“She’s going to get a kick out of him and her slow dancing. We should send Dylan some to so he can show Daisy—what?” You had frozen in place and your smile had faded as your eyes scanned the screen in front of you. “Honey? Y/N, what’s wrong?”
“’Baby #3 Expenses.’”, you read.
“Y/N…I—”
“’Can we afford it?’ No, Steve. We can’t.”
He exhales heavily and he rises to his feet. “Actually…if you look at the math—”
“Really? Really. Ha-have you thought about, oh I don’t know, SPACE! This is a three-bedroom house, Steven. We-we would have to move which cost time and money! And…”
“What’s going on?”, Eddie asks as he cautiously enters the living room.
“The three of us have our jobs and two kids…we-we barely have time for anything else!” You feel yourself start to panic as you wrap your arms around yourself. “We are NOT ready for a baby right now.”
“Well, that sounds familiar.”, the metalhead sighs.

AU where the twinyards’ dad finds out about them and fights to get them back
TW: Andrew’s past (before the Spears), Aaron’s abuse (mentioned), Nicky’s treatment by Luther
He finds Andrew first.
Michael is just an ordinary guy, in his mid-thirties working a boring office job. He doesn’t hate it, but it’s definitely not what he sees himself doing for his entire life. He has a solid group of friends, he’s single but he doesn’t mind and he has a nice little appartement in Oakland. Sure sometimes money is tight, but he manages.
Until one day his world crashes upside down.
One person in his group of friends is a social worker. It’s a Thursday when he gets her text. It’s just a “can I call you?” but he immediately knows there is something amiss. Sarah never asks to call him, she usually just does regardless of what time it is. He calls her and she tells him she wants to see him the same evening. He agrees. They meet up at their usual restaurant and she tells him about this kid in Oakland who just got thrown out of his foster home. Michael asks her why she’s telling her that. The woman takes a deep breath. She digs into her bag, gets a file out and lays it in front of him. Michael frowns, wondering what the heck is going on. But then he sees the name.
Andrew Joseph Doe.
“What is this?”
Sarah gestures at him to open the file. He does. He does and when he sees the photo pinned on top of all the papers, his stomach drops. Because staring back at him is a younger version of himself. Well, it’s him but it’s also not. Michael doesn’t say a word, he just stares at the photo of this ten year old boy staring back at him with eyes devoid of any joy. His throat squeezes.
Sarah talks before he can. “Michael we’ve known each other since we were seven years old. This boy is you.”
Michael gulps. He knows it. He sees it. The boy—Andrew—has his face. He even has the same faint beauty mark at the corner of his mouth. Michael’s eyes are darker, the boy’s are hazel, their hair is the same shade of blond.
His mind spins and spins and spins, until he remembers an evening in San Jose ten-ish years ago. He doesn’t remember the details, but he remembers a woman, one too many glasses of alcohol and a night spent in a hotel in her company. “Jesus fucking Christ. Sarah I don’t… I didn’t… Are you sure?”
“We could do a DNA test, I don’t know maybe I’m imagining things but you are seeing it too, yes?”
Michael takes a moment to answer. “Are you allowed to let me take this home?”
“Technically no. But no one will know.”
Michael doesn’t sleep that night. He reads the file from beginning to end, reads about how Andrew has been tossed around foster homes without ever being allowed to settle in one. He learns that he is deemed difficult, angry for his young age. All Michael sees is a lost kid who needs help. He texts Sarah the next morning that he wants to meet him. It takes a week to organize a meeting. Sarah can’t be there for it because she has to take care of another kid but Michael goes with his friend Phil Higgins, whom he has known for a couple years now.
They meet Andrew’s caseworker first. Michael has a long discussion with him, then they meet Andrew. Andrew looks like he wants to be anywhere but here except when he meets Michael’s eyes, there is something that clicks. There is very little doubt they are related and Michael sees just how much intelligence there is in the boy’s eyes when he stares at him. Michael doesn’t know what to tell him, this child whose existence he didn’t know about until barely a few days ago. Michael immediately wants to bring him back home with him. He knows the process is going to be long but he wants to pull some strings, and Higgins is here to help.
It takes weeks to get the paperworks in order, but after an excruciatingly long wait, it’s done. He gets to take Andrew, his son—the DNA tests came back—home. Adjusting to this new life is strange. Andrew doesn’t talk to him. Higgins helps with enrolling him to school, Sarah gives him precious advice, but Andrew is a closed book.
Until one night where Michael decides to take him to the ice cream parlor after school. It’s been three weeks since they’ve been living under the same roof, three weeks of silence, but this time Andrew speaks. “Why did you do this?”
It takes Michael a second to register Andrew asked him a question. “Do what?”
“Decided to take me with you?”
“Andrew you’re my son.”
“It didn’t matter until now.”
“I didn’t know about you. If I did, I would never have let this happen. I swear.”
Andrew frowns. He eats more of his ice cream (a chocolatey monster. It’s fine, Michael will make him eat veggies for dinner). “I don’t know you. Your words mean nothing.”
Michael can hardly comprehend this boy is just ten. “Andrew, I’m going to need you to listen to me very carefully. If I had known, I promise I would never have let any of this happen. You’re my son, and I swear you’ll never need to worry about anything again. On my life. Understood?” Andrew frowns, but he nods. Things start to get better from there.
Until a year later when Higgins, who had been sent to talk at a school in San Jose and calls him freaking out because he swears he saw Andrew there. It’s impossible, Andrew has spent the entire day at the zoo with Michael because they decided to take a day away from everything. Higgins sends him a photo of a boy who looks like the carbon copy of his son.
This is the second time Michael’s world crashes down.
Higgins helps him find out about this child—Aaron—and when he learns the way he is treated by his mom, Michael fights the courts to get custody and protect him. It works.
The twins have a hard time getting along, but slowly they make progress. The three of them learn to become a family no matter how strange it is but Higgins suggests signing them up to the school’s exy team.
It helps.
They make some friends, including a troublemaking redhead, and things get better from there.
Until one day another boy shows up at Michael’s doorstep. He recognizes him from his fight against Tilda. His name is Nicky, he’s sixteen, and he looks like an absolute mess. Nicky tells him everything he’s been going through.
Michael cannot let this broken boy alone, he cannot allow that.
So he goes back in front of the courts to get custody. He gives them evidence of conversion therapy and with Higgins again on his side, Nicky ends up joining the house and his cousins where none of them ever need to worry about anything again.
A massive thank you to @halfpintpeach for helping me bring this chaos together <3

911 spoilers
god where do I even begin???
First of all, I was ready to flip a fucking table when Gerard said that to Tommy. I really love the detail of Chim standing up to him though, I think it’s nice that 911 continually reminds us that Tommy isn’t just buck’s boyfriend, he also has his own history with the 118 gang. I could see how tense Tommy was and my heart broke for him. I also love Buck getting in Gerard’s face a little as he walked away. We Stan a protective boyfriend.
I was never a foster kid but because of custody fights I know EXACTLY how it feels to be ripped away from the family you love because of what a judge says. My heart breaks for Mara and for Henren, when Denny got in the middle my heart tore even more. That councilwoman genuinely is evil. She has no idea how long lasting and deep those wounds are for a kid.
the last supper montage/scene with Bobby hurt my feelings, but I loved the voiced acknowledgement of bucks growth. I think Buck still has lingering self doubts, and Bobby coming out and saying “you’re not that guy anymore” I think will help Buck let more of those doubts go.
the scene with Buck discovering Kim played out pretty much exactly as it had in my head. I don’t know why I just had the feeling Buck was going to encounter her first before shit hit the fan. I loved his concern for Eddie *and* for Kim. “Does this poor woman know she’s a carbon copy of your late wife?” I think he’s really good at saying things that genuinely reach Eddie. Buck knows that Eddie doesn’t want to hurt anyone, and so he uses that to wedge the door open. Listen, I’m not opposed to buddie happening one day (although I really don’t want a Bucktommy breakup) but whatever happens, them being friends who can be honest with each other is so important. They’re great partners for each other in really every sense of the word.
I can see Athena’s desperation but I also think her completely disregarding Amir’s boundaries and needs is a fucking dick move. Bobby needs a therapist, and probably some in patient mental health treatment too. Amir should be left in peace.
I knew the Kim thing had been too easy and as soon as that door opened and I saw her hair, I fucking knew Chris was going to see. But god Ryan did SO WELL with that scene. He genuinely had me choked up. He Shoulders so much loneliness and anger and hurt and he never really unloads it. I really can’t imagine the grief he feels even if I don’t always buy that he was *in* love with Shannon. I think she was very special to him, but I don’t think she was the love of his life. I still can’t decide what I feel about Kim for that. Truly, on the one hand girl WHAT THE FUCK and on the other, yeah maybe that was the only way Eddie was ever gonna say all that shit out loud. Her motives are as yet a total mystery to me.
Chris gets his own bullet point. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. I really can’t imagine the hurricane of emotions he must have felt and will feel. I truly do not know how his relationship with Eddie will ever recover, and it would not shock me in the least if chris went and stayed with Buck for a while. I get what Ryan means when he says Eddie’s gonna end the season really isolated.
Im gonna miss that house, it really was gorgeous.
I love a good fretting over someone in the hospital scene and this cast in particular does so well with them. Looking forward to next week and also fucking terrified at the emotional fallout of everything particularly for Chris, Mara, and Denny.
boy “punched in the gut repeatedly” really was accurate huh?

I was practicing for my baking final. I haven’t really left my kitchen in days. I needed to get this perfect before my final on Tuesday. I haven’t seen my boyfriend in a week probably, but he understands that when I get like this it’s best to just let me prefect whatever I’m working on. I heard someone walk into my house, but really didn’t think anything of it. It was probably Jesus anyway.
“Y/N?” His voice made my head snap up. He looked over me and over my kind of disasterous kitchen.
“When was the last time you weren’t in this kitchen?” He asked and I shrugged.
“Um… last night when I was sleeping.” I answered and he sighed. He took a seat at my counter and watched me intently.
“What are you even working on?” He asked and I smiled at him.
“I’m making marzipan fruits.” I answered as I mixed up another batch.
“How many have you made so far?” He asked and I glanced around.
“Successful ones or just in general?” I asked. He looked around and shook his head.
“They all look pretty successful to me.” He said and I rolled my eyes.
“They’re not perfect, therefore not successful.” I said. He picked up one of the pears that didn’t come out quite right in shape and color. He took a bite and hmmed in delight.
“They taste amazing, babe.” He said and I smiled.
“I’m not super worried about the taste, it’s the likeness I’m worried about.” I sighed and placed the bowl down.
“They look like fruits to me.” He said and I shook my head.
“I know you’re trying to make me feel better and get me to take a break, but they need to be perfect so I can get a good grade.” I said and he shook his head with a smile.
“You always get a good grade, babe.” He said and I returned his smile.
“I know, but I really want these to be perfect, so just one more try and then I promise I’ll take the rest of the day off… after I clean my kitchen.” I said and he chuckled.
“I’ll help you clean, then we’re getting your ass on your couch and watching some stupid T.V.” He said and I nodded.

The Raven King - Chapter Two
Day: Wednesday, August 30th Time: 8:30 PM EST *Art used with permission by @ouijacine
"Why didn't Aaron know he had a brother?" Nicky winced, but Neil didn't know what bothered him more: the question or the rough edge in Matt's voice. "They're twins," Nicky said. He waited for them to catch on, looked from one blank face to another, and frowned disbelief. "Think about it for a sec, would you? Imagine you're my Aunt Tilda. How eager would you be to tell Aaron you gave up his brother at birth? She hoped that secret would stay buried forever." "But Aaron found out," Neil said. Nicky flashed Neil a tight-lipped smile. "Yeah, and that's why I believe in fate. See, Aaron was born and raised in San Jose. Apparently Aunt Tilda got bored of dating locally and started going to online matching sites. Right after Aaron turned thirteen Aunt Tilda hooked up with this new guy up in Oakland. Her boyfriend thought they should meet at a Raiders game, something nice and public and fun, so she stuffed Aaron in the car and off they went. Aaron said he was at the concession stand when this cop walked up, calling him Andrew and talking like they knew each other. Aaron thought he was either crazy or confused, but it didn't take the cop long to figure out something was wrong." "Higgins," Matt guessed. "Yeah. Soon as Higgins figured out he had the wrong brother he made Aaron take him back to where Aunt Tilda was. See, Higgins thought Aunt Tilda was another foster mother and that Aaron and Andrew had somehow gotten split up in the system. Higgins wanted to reunite them, so Aunt Tilda gave him her phone number to pass along and took Aaron home again. I don't know why she bothered. Maybe she was too embarrassed to say no or didn't want to explain to a cop what was going on. Either way, Andrew's foster mother called the next day to set up a meet-and-greet, and Aunt Tilda refused. She told the fosters she didn't want anything to do with Andrew, didn't want to know what he was like or how he was doing, nothing. She even made them promise to not contact her ever again." Nicky finished his second drink and mixed a third. "But Aaron knew who was calling, and he was too excited to wait on his mom to hang up to find out the details. As soon as she picked up in the kitchen, he ran to her bedroom and listened in on the upstairs phone. That's how he found out the truth." Nicky looked down at his drink. "Aaron said it was the worst day of his life."
"Jesus," Matt said. "I don't blame him. Did he tell her he'd heard her?" "Oh, yeah. Aaron said they had it out. But Aunt Tilda wouldn't budge, so Aaron went behind her back and called the Oakland PD. He found the PAL coordinators and gave them his information to give to Andrew. Two weeks later he got a letter in the mail that basically said 'Fuck you, go away'." Matt rubbed at his temples. "Yeah, that sounds like Andrew." "Some things never change," Nicky said. "So how'd Aaron change Andrew's mind?" Dan asked. Nicky gave her an odd look. "He didn't." "Wait," Dan said. "What do you mean, he didn't?" "I mean he didn't try again. I don't know who told Andrew's foster parents about Aaron, if it was Andrew or this Phil guy, but Andrew's foster mom wrote Aaron a letter. She wanted Aaron to try again in spring and said something about holidays being rough and there being a lot of changes at the house. So Aaron waited, but he waited too long. In March Andrew went off to juvie, and Aaron started rethinking this brother thing. Two months later Aunt Tilda sold the house in San Jose and moved Aaron to Columbia." Dan looked bewildered. "Then when did they meet?" "Dad found out about Andrew five years ago, so..." Nicky counted time on his fingers. "Four and a half years ago, give or take a bit. Dad went to California to interview Andrew's foster family and stop by juvie. A month later he flew Aaron out so Aaron and Andrew could talk, but I don't count that half-hour supervised session as a first meeting. They met for real when Andrew made early parole a year later and Dad bullied Aunt Tilda into bringing Andrew home." Nicky nursed his drink for a bit. "Weird when you think about it, right? They've only really known each other for three years." "That's messed up," Matt said. "Yeah, and that's the nice version of the story," Nicky said. "Anyway, that's how Aaron and Andrew know Higgins. I don't know why he's calling Andrew now, but I'm not going to ask. I kind of view Andrew's foster life as an off-limits topic. I don't bring it up until he does." "Is that really okay?" Dan asked. "It didn't sound like a 'Long time no see' kind of phone call. What if someone's dug up some past crime of his that could get him taken off our court? Maybe Phil was calling to warn him about an investigation." "Andrew will take care of it," Nicky said. "That's not comforting," Dan said, but she let it drop.

it's like.... so fucking depressing that when i have some daydreams or like imagine... doing human things, having interactions with people. i have to stomp that shit out. I have to kill the thoughts before they grow into images and yearning.
i can't allow myself to imagine being with other human beings in any way because its just not possible and to foster these thoughts is to encourage delusional ideas.
but it's so fucked up. it's so fucked up to constantly remind yourself "no this can't happen remember? you're too mentally ill to have friends now" "you're too mentally ill to date" "you have too much anxiety to go to a show and have fun" "no you cannot go see your old friend because you know that you'll end up making things so awkward for everyone"
jesus christ. what the fuck is the point. im not getting better. I'm never going to be deserving of having a life. not even a normal life, just any life. with other people in it. they won't accept me. nobody wants someone this fucked up around. maybe I should just give up and tell the hospital I'm unfit for life on my own. if I'm going to be this alone, maybe having freedom isn't worth it and i might as well be locked up....

Tumblr media
In all the years you’ve been alive, you think you’ve imagined your death about six dozen times. From the days you’ve been in foster care, enlisted in the army, and then up until now, it’s always been a topic that lingered in the back of your brain. Whether it be by your own hand, or some freak accident. You think you’ve doubled those thoughts in the past twenty-four hours alone.
“Chris.”
“Would you just let me check?”
“I’m fine!”
One hand was placed on your shoulder while the other turned your head from side to side, examining the large gash along your cheek from when your mask shattered.
“We almost got blown up, and you're worried about a cut on my face?”
“Your head slammed into a pile of rocks. I’m making sure you’re responsive.”
He held up his finger and moved it in and out of your vision, and you slapped his hand away.
“I’m fine. If I start throwing up then you’ll know something’s wrong.”
You heard Chris sigh behind you as you continued forward, muttering “stubborn” under his breath. Back in the central area of the cavern, you searched through the many pockets on your vest to search for a key you picked up somewhere along the way. You were made aware that there was a room behind the tunneling shield, and it was extremely likely that was the place Lucas was. You couldn’t imagine he had anywhere else to go since you’ve scoured almost every nook and cranny of this cave. And he didn’t leave, either. No, he had no intention of running away when the both of you were still alive. He was waiting for you, and you were ready.
“Where the fuck—”
“Did you lose it?”
“No!”
There was a prolonged silence, the only sound being velcro loudly separating as you frantically searched for the key. Chris sighed loudly, and you let out an “Aha!” whilst you pulled out the small piece of metal and shoved it in his face.
“I do not lose things,” you said, placing the key above the glowing red nose of the clown.
“Uh huh.”
“I put things down in places which later elude me.”
“Oh, jesus christ.”
As soon as you turned the key, the shield began moving forward at a snail's pace, rocks crumbling around it. You briefly wondered if the cave was going to collapse around you. As soon as it stopped, you turned to Chris, and with a dramatic roll of your wrist, you gestured to the stairs leading up to the contraption.
“Age before beauty.”
You imagined he rolled his eyes at you before moving on ahead without any complaints. You followed him up the rusted, yellow steps, the metal clanging under your footfalls. With Every step, your heart sank deeper into your stomach. You were anxious for all of this to be over, the concept hardly imaginable. Evie was dead, the root of all your problems, but once Lucas was gone, you’d finally be done. There would be no more of the endless torment you had to suffer, no more of your brother’s sick smile beaming down at you as he hurt and tortured you. God, a life without him in it. How fucking peaceful would that be?
The only problem was, you had absolutely no idea of where you would go or what you would do after this was all said and done for. Most of your life has been spent fighting, and the idea of living a peaceful, stress free life almost made you cringe. It was a nice thought; working a nine to five job, coming home to silence, and curling up on the couch with a good book and a drink. It wasn’t you, though. You think you’d go insane if it was.
Would you enlist again? Shit, you don’t even know if they’d let you. You don’t think you could pass a psych eval if you tried. You could always put your mechanic skills to use, your dad certainly taught you plenty. Thinking about it all now, it was giving you a headache.
When you stepped into the tunneling shield, it was completely dark, and you wish your headgear hadn’t been ruined since night vision would certainly come in handy right about now. You’d have to trust Chris to be your eyes for the time being.
“Oh!” The sound of Lucas’s sudden voice almost made you jump. “You’re both still with us, I see. Very impressive, my friends! Let’s just see how impressive y’all really are.”
The light suddenly flickered on, and you were met with molded creatures coming at you from every direction. You covered Chris’s six while he covered yours, backs pressed together as you frantically shot at the monsters charging at you. Every time you killed one, another would appear in its place. But, they went down surprisingly easy, almost as if they were getting weaker as time went on. Maybe it was because it was Lucas creating them, rather than Eveline.
“Y’all are slowing down. Almost had you that time.” You refrained from rolling your eyes. “Just how much more of this do you think you can take?”
As soon as he was finished speaking, a couple bigger guys came stumbling through the area, smashing objects in their path, and you quickly recognized them as the same type that you and Ethan fought in the barn.
“Be careful, they spit!” you warned.
Right when you said that, a spew of vomit came at you, and you rolled out of its path. This stuff burned like acid, and you weren’t intending on reliving the painful experience. But then you remembered how you killed the one you faced last time, and quickly felt in your pants pocket.
“Chris! Get out of there!”
He watched you pull the pin with your teeth, and threw his body behind cover as you chucked the grenade between the two large monsters. Their bodies exploded like gore filled balloons, and you swallowed back the bile in your throat.
“You okay?”
Chris stood up, seemingly all right, and nodded. That was a relief.
The lights turned off, and you heard Lucas in your ear piece.
“Okay, okay! No more, alright? I don’t have nothing left.”
“That’s too bad. Now tell us where you are so we can fucking end this!” you seethed.
“Listen! I know I’ve done terrible things. Horrible things. I killed your men. I tortured them. Tortured my siblings too. And you know what? I enjoyed every second! Just like I’m gonna enjoy watching you burn!”
Red lights began pulsing and an alarm sounded, a robotic female voice informing you of the time before detonation.
“Oh, I’m really scared now!” you muttered sarcastically.
“You should be! Sounds like time’s running out! Tick tock, y’all. Tick. Tock.”
You spotted a grate in the floor, and used as much strength as you could to pull it up. It wouldn’t even budge an inch
“If you’re gonna kill us, just kill us. But for the love of god, shut the fuck up!” Chris grieved.
You chuckled to yourself and went to the next grate, wrapping your fingers firmly around the bars and pulling. When you heard the metal scrape a bit, you tugged harder.
“Come on.”
As the room began falling apart and flames licked at your feet, you finally pulled the grate up with a grunt and threw it to the side, jumping down after you urged Chris to go first. As soon as the cool cave floor met your hands and knees, a loud explosion sounded behind you, reflecting off the wet stone and heating your back like the sun. The Captain was by your side in seconds, helping you stand straight and checking you for injuries.
“You alright?”
You nodded, brushing him off. “Yeah. Let’s go before he gets away.”
Moving to step past him, you were immediately stopped in your tracks and pulled back by a firm hand on your arm. You sighed, twisting around to look at Chris.
“What?!”
Fingers gripped your jaw and turned your head to the side, the reflective shield of his helmet inching closer as he inspected you.
“Something on my face?” you asked. You were getting more frustrated by the second.
“More like lack of something.”
You shoved his hand away. “The hell are you talking about?”
You felt around your cheek, searching for what he meant, and your eyes widened. Shit. The cut on your face. It was gone.
“Chris, I—”
“How long has this been happening?”
You certainly felt on the spot now. “Uh, right before we fought Evie, I think. I, um… Well—”
“Spit it out.”
You sighed. “I technically died.”
He didn’t speak. You took that as your cue to explain.
“Well, from what Ethan told me, at least. I had this… dream. Or vision, or something. And the next thing I know, I’m waking up and all of my injuries are healed. I had a broken arm that I had reset earlier that night, and when I woke up, it was like nothing had happened to it. I know it’s strange but… I can’t explain it.”
He continued to remain silent, and it was making you nervous. You really wished you could see his face.
“Chris—”
“You need to get out of here.”
“... What?”
“Go. Go back the way we came and get the team to evac you.”
He turned away, and your lips parted in surprise. What the hell was he on about?! You followed him, not satisfied with the lack of explanation.
“What the fuck are you talking about?!”
“You hid crucial information from me and revealed yourself to be a possible threat. You’re done with the mission.”
“A threat?!”
You stopped in your tracks, but he just kept moving forward, as if his words didn’t have any kind of effect on you. Like you were just gonna lay down and listen like an obedient dog.
“Hey! I’m fuckin’ talking to you, asshole!”
He paused, but still didn’t face you.
“The only threat I am to anyone is my shitstain brother! You think I’d hurt you? Hurt your team?”
When he spun around and got in your space with only a few long strides, it made you take a step back, swallowing the lump in your throat.
“I think you don’t know what’s happening to you, and I think it’s a hazard to not only my safety, but your own. What if you turn into one of those things, huh? What if you mutate into a monster and I have to fucking kill you? Did you think about that?!”
God, you felt like you were being scolded by a teacher. Yeah, maybe you intentionally hid this from him because you knew he wouldn’t let you come. And you couldn’t risk that. You realized it was incredibly selfish, but in the moment, all semblance of safety went out the window when you realized you’d have the opportunity to hunt down Lucas. And Chris was doing a hell of a good job of making you feel guilty about it.
But, among all his ranting, a lightbulb went off above your head.
“Chris, shut up!”
He tilted his head. “Excuse me?”
Your hands came up to grip his shoulders, and you grinned.
“I got the vaccine. Remember? If the infection was that far along, I would’ve died as soon as I got it!”
You were happy about the news, but your emotions didn’t seem to be reciprocated. If anything, the information only seemed to make Chris more confused.
“Then how the hell is this possible? You must have some trace of the mutamycete in you. That’s the only way you could be regenerating so fast.”
You shook your head. “I don’t know. And we’re not gonna know without me being poked and prodded in a lab, which isn’t gonna happen until after we apprehend Lucas. So could we please get this show on the road?”
Chris sighed, pointing a finger at you in a manner of finality.
“No more secrets. Understood?”
You gave him a mock salute. “Loud and clear, Captain.”
“Call me Redfield, for christ’s sake.”
“Could just call you Christopher.”
“I’d prefer it if you didn’t.”
You smiled, glad to see the man wasn’t always all seriousness. Clearly, under the hard exterior, he was a decent, normal guy.
Who could punch the head off a molded with barely any effort.
As you moved forward and through another door, the setting quickly changed from jagged cave walls to smooth brick. Your coms buzzed with the voice of Veronica, (Chris finally mentioned her name after you referred to her as “the lady with the pretty voice” too many times for his liking.) letting you know that Lucas sent out an email stating your deaths and the end of whatever deal he was involved in. You all surmised it was The Connections, but nothing was certain yet. What you were sure of, though, was that Lucas was a fucking idiot for thinking after all this time, he could kill you in such a shitty way.
Fire? Really? A beheading would’ve been way cooler.
It didn’t take long before the brick transitioned into smooth, painted stone, the cold atmosphere of the hallway you stepped into sending a shiver up your spine. Questions about what this place was and how it was built swirled in your mind. It was like an underground research facility, and the more you searched, you knew that’s exactly what it was. It was so clean it almost made you uncomfortable, and you could feel that something truly awful happened down here. You wouldn’t have such an eerie feeling in the pit of your stomach if something didn’t.
Wandering down the pristine hallway, you stepped into a lab with your gun raised and quickly noticed a couple high regen molded through the glass pane on the other side of the room. You carefully examined an abandoned piece of paper next to a bright computer, and noted that this was where Lucas did his research for The Connections. Searching through the device, you found a note he had written for himself, talking about how he killed all the researchers with the molded and had to hold in his laughs while he watched them die. The sick fuck. He also mentioned potential buyers of the E Series, and you pointed it out to Chris. He talked quietly into his earpiece while you took a shuddered breath.
Shit. How long has he been up to this?
When Chris led you into the contained room, you both swiftly took out the creatures, and noticed the trails and splatters of blood on the otherwise pristine padded walls. You didn’t know what kind of experiments they were doing here, and you didn’t want to know. The possibilities made you sick.
“He’s not in here. Let’s move.”
You held up a hand, wordlessly telling Chris to just wait a second, and picked up a photo next to a set of dolls. It was Mia holding Eveline’s hand. You felt your heart plummet.
“She’s been working with them…”
“Who?”
You spun around and thrusted the photo towards him.
“Mia! She— Fuck, I wanted to give her the bennefit of the doubt, but this? This is fucking sick!”
You dropped the photo and took a closer look at the dolls. They must’ve represented the two. You felt your skin crawl.
“They conditioned Evie to see Mia as a mother figure so she wouldn’t act out as long as she was with her. If Mia kept up with the charade, Eveline’s emotions would remain stable. Shit, and Ethan doesn’t even know! He doesn’t know his wife is a goddamn liar and working with terrorists!”
“Hey,” Chris placed a hand on your arm, trying to get you to come down from your quickly rising anger. “I know it’s a lot to take in right now, but we have to focus. I need you to keep your head on straight for me, alright?”
You gulped and nodded, taking a deep breath to do as he wanted you to. It was crazy to think that earlier you felt some semblance of empathy for the woman, when she was involved in all of this from the beginning. Maybe you didn’t have all of the information, but the current evidence was certainly painting a clear picture for you. And it wasn’t a very pretty one.
You brushed past the man without another word, jaw clenched and lips set in a frown. It was nice to have clarity about certain things, but if you were honest, you were fucking tired of discovering the new atrocities your brother and whoever these “Connection” assholes were committed. It seemed never-ending, like one or ten awful acts weren’t enough. You had stared evil in the face, taken the lives of dangerous terrorists. But nothing compared to the evil that resided in your brother. And you often wondered how he ended up this way. Because your parents were nothing but loving, and you couldn’t remember anything particularly bad happening to Lucas when you started living with them. So, the only conclusion you could make was that he was just born that way. And your parents, as loving and attentive as they were, never saw it. Or, they just pretended not to.
Moving down the corridor, your breath hitched when you spotted the back of Lucas’s grey hoodie on the other side of a glass window. He was hunched over a laptop, furiously typing as he didn’t seem to notice you yet. You experimentally pushed against the mechanical door to the room and met resistance.
“The power must be out. Try to find a switch or something, I’ll keep an eye on him.”
Chris nodded and stepped into the next room branching off the hallway while you watched Lucas intently. You could safely make the assumption that he was emailing his business partners and wanting to part ways. You imagined that was easier said than done.
The power suddenly flickered, and Lucas’s head shot up when the lights in the room turned on. When he finally turned, it was like he saw a ghost. He stumbled back into the desk just as Chris came back into the hall, and with a smile, you pressed your middle finger to the glass.
“I got you now, fucker!”
He took off running in a split second, and you didn’t hesitate to go after him, slamming your shoulder into the door as Chris yelled your name. Your boots squeaked against the waxed floor, and Lucas wheeled a gurney in your path amidst his frantic escape. Using your momentum, your hand balanced on the gurney to help you clear the jump over it, maintaining your speed.
“Shit, shit!”
“You got nowhere to run, Lucas!”
He burst through the door at the end of the hallway, but as quickly as you followed him through it, he had disappeared. You raised your rifle, searching the vast room when Chris caught up to you.
“Where is he?”
“I don’t know. I lost him somehow.”
It was then that his voice spoke through your ear piece.
“How the hell are y’all still alive? You should be dead!”
“We got your emails. We know you’re funneling info to someone.”
Lucas growled. “That’s none of your god-damned business, Chris! A lot of people wanna know about our little Evie. A lot of people.”
“She was a little girl, asshole,” you seethed.
“Do your friends, The Connections know about this? They don’t seem like the forgiving type.”
“That’s my business. You let me worry about them.”
“Won’t have to worry much when you’re dead, then.”
With a scream, Lucas appeared from the shadows like a bat out of hell, swinging a knife at Chris and tackling him to the ground. You ran up to his side and kicked your boot against his shoulder to knock him off, and as he went to raise himself up, Chris put a bullet in his leg while you put one right in his chest.
Of course, it was wishful thinking that that would be enough to kill him.
He writhed on the ground, muttering to himself. “I can’t— I don’t… No, I don’t believe it.”
You firmly placed your boot on his chest and aimed your gun in his face. “It’s over, Lucas. You’re finished.”
He struggled out a laugh. “Oh, you’d love that, wouldn’t you.” You shouldn’t have been surprised, but you couldn’t help the gasp that left you when his features began morphing and his body started melting into black mold. Veronica mentioned something about the infection, but you were too distracted by the current horror show to pay attention.
“Oooh boy! So this is what it feels like.” His voice was deep. Distorted. “I’ve got somethin’ for you, now. You’re fuckin’ screwed!”
There was a firm hand on your arm pulling you back, and you watched as your brother’s body turned into a puddle of black ooze and began creeping up the wall.
“What in the seven shades of fuck…”
The goo settled on the ceiling before it began to produce yellow spores, forming a sac-like structure that began to pulse and leak a viscous, yellowish liquid. From the way you’ve seen your other family members transform, you quickly learned that no evolution from this virus was the same. And Lucas’s definitely seemed to be the most evolved out of all of them.
“So uh… any advice on how we should handle this?” you asked.
Chris reloaded his rifle, making sure the magazine was firmly locked into the gun. “Yeah. Fight like hell.”
Well, you could’ve guessed that.
The sac pulsed violently before splitting right down the middle as Lucas fell out of it. But, he wasn’t Lucas anymore. No, this thing was three times Chris’s size and had sharp points jutting out of its body. It had three morphed faces and pointed teeth. It was a fucking monster. So, yeah. Maybe it was the real Lucas.
“You had to come in here and mess everything up, didn’t you?!” he said.
He swung a long, deformed arm your way and you narrowly dodged it, the heavy mass on the end of it forming a crater where you once stood. His eyes were red and full of fury. But, they weren’t focused on Chris. They were focused on you.
Shitshitshitshitshit!
Chris yelled at you to run, but as soon as you turned to do so, Lucas leapt from his spot and landed right in your path, the ground shaking from the force. You had to strain your neck to look up at his face(s), and god, was it a gruesome sight. You took a slow step back, trying to distance yourself, but you were afraid any sudden movement would make him lash out.
As if you weren’t already trying to kill each other.
“You! Always gettin’ in the damn way of everything!” His claws pierced the cement floor digging up a hunk of rock and holding it over his head. “Folks should’ve sent you back where you came from!”
The rock was sent flying down at you, but another hard force rammed into your side and pushed you to the ground out of harm’s way. Still, Chris’s body slamming into yours nearly knocked the breath out of you.
“Fuck!”
“You okay?”
You nodded, pushing yourself off the ground as he stood up. You were more than okay, because now you were fucking pissed. Over ten years living with this asshole and his only motivation for hating you was petty jealousy? What a fucking crybaby.
Aiming your rifle, a stream of bullets pierced his thick head, and he turned to you with a scream.
“Come on, fucker! You wanna kill me so bad? Then fucking do it!”
He roared, the sound guttural and rough, and moved to swipe a large, clawed hand at you. As quickly as he lashed out, though, he brought his hand back up to his face before it could touch you, shielding it from Chris’s assault. You used the momentary distraction to aim at the glowing, orange mass on his chest, and noted how it caused him more pain. But then he was jumping away from you and screaming about his head, and his ribs and chest opened with a sickening crack to release spores, filling the room with contaminated air.
When he looked down at you, there was a deranged expression on his face. But, when he saw your maskless face and noticed you had no reaction to the spores, his expression dropped.
“What?! Impossible!”
You grinned, and just for kicks, took a deep breath of the air. You then beat your fist against your chest and held out your arms.
“Come on! Hurt me! You wanna see what happens?!”
Your taunting clearly had some effect, because he was charging at you in the next moment, hand closing around your middle and dangling you above the ground. Chris called out for you, and judging by the tremor in his voice, you knew he was scared for you. Maybe even more scared than yourself. But, you’ve stared death in the face, faced more terrifying foes that Lucas wished he was half as brilliant and despicable as. So what reason was there to be afraid?
When he slammed your body into the concrete, the air forced itself out of your lungs as your skull slammed back into the floor and rattled your brain. His grip was so tight he began to crush your ribs whilst blood gurgled in your throat, and Chris’s cries fell on deaf ears as Lucas flung you to the side.
You rolled across the ground and didn’t stop until you hit the wall. The sound of the captain’s rushing footsteps became louder as he came to your side and shielded you with his body, keeping his gun trained on Lucas. Your brother snarled and said something, but you couldn’t hear anything over the ringing in your ears.
It fucking hurt like hell, searing pain shooting throughout your body as you lifted yourself onto your hands and knees. But as quick as the pain came, it began fading, leaving your insides warm and tingling. Your ribs cracked back into place, the pressure lessening on your lungs and allowing you to take a breath. Despite a mild headache, you felt perfectly fine. Like all you got was a small bump on the head. The ridiculousness of it all made you giggle.
The sound of gradually rising laughter caught their attention, taking a brief pause from killing each other to look at you. When you raised up on your feet, Chris took a step back as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. You should be dead. He watched Lucas crush you like you were a fucking beer can. Yet, here you were, standing on your feet with blood dripping down your face and laughing.
You licked the blood off your teeth and spat it on the floor.
“Is that the best you can do?”
You were rushing forward in an instant, faster than Chris could stop you, and slipped your knife out of its sheath. Lucas went to take another swing at you, but you dropped to your knees and slid between his legs, slicing your knife at his ankle. He cried out and collapsed onto one knee, and you quickly shot up on your feet to jump up on his shoulders.
“Chris!”
The man was alert, waiting for your instruction whilst you shoved your blade into one of Lucas’s eyes over and over again. He screamed, hand coming up to claw at your thigh, but you grit your teeth through the pain and didn’t let up, locking your legs around his neck.
“His chest! Shoot it!”
He didn’t waste any time, sending a barrage of bullets into Lucas’s glowing chest, the orange pustules spurting disgusting liquid onto the ground.
“No! NO!”
With a cry, you lodged your knife deep into his skull, the blade sinking in with a sickening squelch, before untangling your legs from his neck and kicking off his shoulders. You landed— albeit ungracefully— on your feet, and watched as Lucas writhed before collapsing on his back. His skin undulated and whatever disgusting substance he had flowing inside him bubbled to the surface. His ragged breaths were loud, and he almost sounded like he was in pain.
Good.
Your boots stomped against the ground and paused beside him, rifle aimed at his head with a snarl on your lips. His eyes shifted back and forth, and you saw no semblance of the boy you used to know behind them. All you saw was a fucking monster.
“Game over, asshole.”
The single shot that rang out was loud and echoed off the barren walls, his head exploding to viscera at your feet.
He was dead.
And you felt nothing.
You pictured this moment over a thousand times. You imagined there would be this massive weight lifted off your shoulders, and you could live your life knowing you and Zoe were finally safe. But you felt absolutely nothing.
Your gun clattered to the ground, and a rough cry clawed its way out of your lungs. You felt like you were suffocating, desperately clawing at the straps of your vest because god dammit get this fucking thing off of me!
Chris made his presence known, quietly reassuring you and helping you with your vest. The second it was loose, you tore it off your body and took a deep breath, back hunched with your hands on your knees.
“Fuck! Fuck.”
“Hey. He’s dead. You’re okay.”
Your breathing began to slow after a while, and you slowly straightened up to look at the man next to you. He had taken his mask off at some point, and you swore you almost forgot what he looked like. It was refreshing to see a friendly face, rather than the black reflective glass you had been forced to look at for the past however long.
But now, he looked less intimidating than when you first met him. His features were still well weathered and stern, but his eyes were… softer. The crease between his brows lessened just a small bit.
“I’m okay.”
He nodded, lips quirked up in a small smile. “You’re okay.”
“Chris!” Veronica yelled, and you swore you jumped at least three feet in the air.
“Jesus fucking christ!”
“The data transfer’s almost complete!”
You both rushed over to the computer, the progress bar on the monitor almost full.
“How do I stop it?”
“You need to find a way to shut down the server. There may be some transformer relays you can—”
Anything else she wanted to say was cut off when Chris shot at the transformers right next to the monitor, effectively stopping the email from sending.
“Well, that was effective,” you said.
“Yeah. Gonna be some pissed off computer techs here, but—”
“Whatever. What’s the Sitrep?”
“The facility is clear. Even the newer breeds have been neutralized.”
Chris smiled, and placed a hand on your shoulder.
“Then we’re getting outta here.”
You returned the gesture, but gasped when you remembered something.
“My sister! Veronica, is she—?”
“She got life flighted to a secure facility where she’s being taken care of, along with Ethan and Mia. Your uncle is with her.”
A puzzled expression took over your features. “Uncle Joe? Damn, can’t remember the last time I saw him.”
“Well then, let’s go. Have a big family reunion.”
You chuckled, following Chris out of the facility. “You gonna join us?”
“Oh, I wouldn’t miss it.”

Hi, I've a question:
Recently I started praying the rosary for a particular soul, and I notice when I pray for them I get like a dark feeling in the pit of my stomach. But after saying a few Hail Marys it goes away and I feel myself praying freely. I figure it could all be in my head, but is it possible the evil one would not want me to pray for a particular person??
The dark feeling at the pit of your stomach is your body in spiritual warfare. The devil hates when people pray to God because he wants you as miserable as he is. He fears the Blessed Mother more than anyone else because she will crush his head.
What does the Catechism say?…
971 “All generations will call me blessed”: “The Church’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship.” The Church rightly honors “the Blessed Virgin with special devotion. From the most ancient times the Blessed Virgin has been honored with the title ‘Mother of God’, to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs…. This very special devotion… differs essentially from the adoration which is given to the incarnate Word and equally to the Father and the Holy Spirit, and greatly fosters this adoration.” The liturgical feasts dedicated to the Mother of God and Marian prayer, such as the rosary, an “epitome of the whole Gospel,” express this devotion to the Blessed Virgin.
#971, page 275. Catechism of the Catholic Church second edition (white cover).
2708 Meditation engages thought, imagination, emotion, and desire. This mobilization of faculties is necessary in order to deepen our convictions of faith, prompt conversion of our heart, and strengthen our will to follow Christ. Christian prayer tries above all to meditate on the mysteries of Christ, as in Lectio Divina or the Rosary. This form of prayerful reflection is of great value, but Christian prayer should go further: to the knowledge of the love of Lord Jesus, to union with Him.
#2716, pages 715, 716. Catechism of the Catholic Church second edition (white cover).
2725 Prayer is both a gift of grace and a determined response on our part. It always presupposes effort. The great figures of prayer of the Old Covenant before Christ, as well as the Mother of God, the saints, and he himself, all teach us this: prayer is a battle. Against whom? Against ourselves and against the wiles of the tempter who does all he can to turn man away from prayer, away from union with God. We pray as we live, because we live as we pray. If we do not want to act habitually according to the Spirit of Christ, neither can we pray habitually in His name. The “spiritual battle” of the Christian’s new life is inseparable from the battle of prayer.

Chapter III
I could not believe what had happened the night before, I stared up at the ceiling recalling all of the memories from last night. The kissing, the touching....the moaning. Holy fuck I needed some sex badly, I wanted Ellie, I need Ellie. I couldn't stop imagining her moaning my name, her sweet juices littering my face while I'd suck her dry, Jesus fuck.
I stood up pulling out some basic jeans and a sweatshirt, I had to get ready before class. Not only do I have class, I have that party tonight. Shit today is not going to be that good. I could feel my stomach rumbling, I was nervous.
I glanced over at the empty bed, 'hmm it's only '8:15' she must be in class already' I tried relaxing myself as I continued to get ready.
~ Ellie point of view ~
Once the kiss ended and we both headed to bed, all I could think about was fucking her. Fucking y/n so hard until her legs are shaking. I didn't even know how to contain myself. I woke up before she did, I couldn't face her after last night. I know she likes me but I can't, I don't want to. I haven't been in a good relationship since Cat and even then I don't like bein' loyal. It ain't my style y'know?
I stood up sliding on a pair of black Nike sweats, a dark green hoodie and some basic UGGS. Joel had got me these a few weeks before college had first started he began stating his "you're becoming a woman! you need some new clothes and shoes other than those little shitty sneakers you got on there." He always made me laugh, I believe he is coming down next week with Tess to visit me. I enjoyed his company. I liked Tess too, I hadn't seen her in awhile.
I was fourteen when Joel had adopted me, he had a daughter named Sarah. She passed away due to smallpox, he was devastated. He ended up getting a call a few years after Sarah's death. "Joel....It's me...Marlene" He hadn't heard from Marlene in years, when she explained my mother had passed and she didn't want to keep me in foster care anymore, he decided he'd take me in. I was a cunt, mean, rude and disrespectful. I wouldn't follow his rules, I'd bust his balls but eventually I ended up adoring him. He introduced me to Tess after a year of being my guardian, She became my step mother around a few months before my seventeenth birthday. It stayed just the three of us, they gave me the 'bird and the bees talk' Joel taught me how to ride a bike, he was great. I never called him dad, always Joel. Tess was always referred to as Tess. They were my best friends, well that was until Dina moved next door.
~ Flashback ~
It was late October, slowly getting colder out. My over-sized blue zip-up and my black, ripped jeans didn't give me any warmth. I walked as fast as I could picking at the skin on my left thumb.
"HEY!!" I turned around after hearing someone shout at me, I pulled out an earbud looking hopelessly for the source of the voice.
"hi...?" I questioned looking at the girl. She was maybe 5'4, black hair with dark brown eyes. Lots of freckles, she was wearing a light green jacket with some brown pants, her boots looked so warm and fuzzy I was jealous.
"I'm Dina, I always see you walking home so I figured we could be friends" I watched as she ran by my side to walk with me. I didn't push her away, she was the first friend I made after living at Joel's for over seven months.
~ Flashback over ~
I looked down at the time, '7:35' I had to go, I knew she'd be up around eight-ish and I did not want to be here when she'd wake up. I didn't get what was wrong with me, I couldn't tell what I was feeling for her. I wanted to rip her clothes off of her last night, I knew I wanted to fuck her but it almost felt deeper than that. I knew if I saw her again, in a towel? shit I dunno what I'd do.
I grabbed my car keys, wallet and backpack. I'd stop back here later to change then head to the party but for now I needed something to eat and drink. I made my way to the local coffee shop, upon walking in I saw the fucking cunt, Abby. God she stole so many girls from me, all because she was "nicer" and "actually cared about more than just their bodies." Like seriously I couldn't care less.
I approached the cashier which just so happened to be Sarah. Fuck. My. Life.
"oh...um how can I help you?"
"yea uhh lemme get a medium strawberry-passion fruit and a croissant buttered" I watched as she typed into the machine pulling up the total. Her hands slightly shaking.
"six dollars and seventy five cents, it'll be out in a few-"
"Is everything 'kay over here? you look a lil' tense Sar" I watched as Abby wrapped her hands around Sarah's waist, I rolled my eyes and walked away. I saw Abby smirk in the corner of my eye, jesus she fucking annoys me. I watched Abby begin making my drink.
Fantastic.
"Ellie?" I watched the young boy call out, he looked cute. "Have a good day" he said walking away, I grabbed my shit and sprinted out of there as fast as I could. I pushed my forearm against the door until I heard my name.
"have a great one els" I cringed at that name, I knew it was Abby just being Abby. I quickly left.
I needed to get fucked up tonight. I pulled out of the spot speeding away.
~ Third Person ~
Abby watched Ellie quickly get into her car and speed away. Abby had always loved bothering Ellie. The two were life long best friends until one of Ellie hoes fucked with Abby, a hoe in which Ellie really liked. Abby had no idea this girl was fucking with her best friend, therefore the two split apart. Ellie had never tried hearing Ab out so she gave up. Abby just moved on.
"Sarah, you fucked Ellie?" Abby walked over to the blonde, her mouth forming into a thin line.
"Abby!!"
"c'mon sarah, for real?" Abby was heated, Sarah was so sweet she'd kill Ellie if she ever tried fucking Sarah again.
"She took my vir-" Nope Done. Abby walked over to Sarah pulling her into the back room. "hey! Abby-"
"Sarah you cannot do anything with Ellie anymore, she is a bad person. She fucks girls then dips on them, she is a cunt, a selfish bitch. Please find a better girl....please" Abby was practically on her knees begging.
"Okay okay, but you have to come with me to the party tonight. Jesse's....pleaseeeee" Sarah convinced Abby until she finally nodded in agreement. What had Abby gotten herself into.
Eventually the day went by, the cafe was busy perusal. Abby clocked out and began heading back to her dorm. Abby's roommate was never there, she had a scholarship for soccer which meant she was traveling the country most of the time. Abby always had the place to herself, which was nice. She'd bring back some girls most of the time, or just fuck around in her underwear.
Abby wasn't a slut though, she didn't just fuck girls then dip on them. She'd only been in two serious relationships. Owen Moore and Grace Smith. She was in love with Grace but Owen? not so much... that was how she realized she was Bisexual with a huge preference for girls. Therefore after Grace, Abby went berserk. She fucked three girls, dipping on all of them. She ended up changing her ways once she saw the real damage it was doing to her ego, and the girls.
Even though Abby wasn't a player anymore, she still couldn't help but miss her past ways. She pulled plenty but now she stuck to herself. Yet she couldn't stop thinking about y/n, the coffee shop girl.
Abby was praying y/n would be going to the party, she wanted to get to know you a little before she pulled anything. She was trying to be a better person, but it was difficult. Her motto became "at least I'm not like Ellie!"
She pulled out a black button up and some light wash jeans. Even though it was only 4:15, she'd like to be early. Once dressed she plopped on the couch....'I wonder what her socials are' Abby began searching.
DinaHoffman -> Katiemariehoffman -> (y/n)(L/n)
"Got it" Abby began clicking and looking through your photos. A picture of Katie and you kissing one another on the cheek, a photo of a coffee on your Instagram story. Some old graduation photos, beach photos, dog photos, a mental health highlight....
"shit" Abby moaned out when she clicked on the highlight named "me👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩" not only did it reveal you might like girls from the emoji, the first photo was you in a dark blue bikini. Your tits were popping out, the double DD's was all she could think about. The next photo was you in a hot pink, tight dress. Your tits vibrant, your ass fat. Abby was foaming at the mouth. She was praying you'd be wearing something sexy to that party, just like she was praying you'd even be there.
Abby felt her face become hot, quickly clicking out of the app and clearing her tabs. She needed to let off some steam. A small shot glass filled with some whiskey.

~ Y/N point of view ~
I chugged my Dunkin' coffee as quickly as possible. I needed to get back to the dorm, I had already went to my class prior to the coffee since I had woken up too late. I was pissed for Ellie being a cunt, I needed her to understand that I'm all real no play.
I sighed in frustration as I opened the door, walking in revealing an empty bed once again. I felt much more calm now knowing I could quickly change in peace. I climbed into the shower, feeling the hot water run down my back. I climbed out wrapping my towel around me, I felt much more at ease until I heard the jingling of Ellie's keys. I came out of the bathroom, steam filling the cold room. Ellie's eyes darted at me, she came rushing towards me. Her eyes darted from my lips to my eyes back to my lips. She pushed herself against me, slipping her tongue into my mouth. I felt her hand run down the arch of my back gripping my ass, she moved down her lips sucking on my neck. She sighed out and backed away after the kisses against my neck, it was filled with passion. I was even more confused.
"Ellie...."
"I have to go but I'll be back to give you a ride"
What. The. Fuck. I watched Ellie grab out her clothes and rush out of the room. Where is she going? and why does she keep leading me on.
A mini chapter and a cliff hanger ;)
