I really, truly hope that James Somerton is alright. I hope that he is safe. I hope that he gets the help he needs.

I hope, dearly, that people take Somerton's message about suicidality seriously, because it should always be taken seriously. Even when it comes from bad people, even when it comes from liars and thieves. No one deserves to feel that way. If this is a cry for help, I hope it is answered, and that someone who loves him is there for him.

I also hope that Hbomb knows that whether Somerton is alright or not, it isn't his fault. I hope no one decides to come at Hbomb or at Jessie Gender or at Todd to blame them for Somerton's poor mental health. They should never have to carry that burden or think they did wrong for exposing someone who has been very harmful to the community.

If there are people who jumped on James Somerton hate trains with death threats and stalking and bullying, as he claimed? Those people should feel bad.

Please treat fellow human beings like human beings.

So, this is the last post I am going to make on the James Somerton situation. It's been 4 days and by now, everyone has made up their mind. But I did want to highlight this video because one of the most shocking things about Hbomberguys's video for me was that apparently James Somerton never shouted out a wider community of creators.

I mean, even the "fake gurus of YouTube" collaborate! But this guy never sent his viewers to other creators in the same space?

There was something so narcissistic about that part because almost all YouTuber I follow regularly collaborate with others in their space. It's almost like an abusive parasocial relationship where he wanted to isolate his fans and make them reliant only on him!

Also, I don't agree James Somerton's career is over. I am in the camp that thinks he'll resurface as a right-wing commentator. On that topic, here's another video that's been on my mind since this whole situation broke!

This one's Gia for sure! Her full name, Giovanna, is pronounced more in the Italian way (her family is largely Greek but she was named for her Italian great-grandmother), with a softer G and more emphasis on the second part of the name, while her nickname is a heavier, more Americanized pronounciation. I also have a few secondary OCs this applies to (Emília Mendoza in WWFA?, goes by Emily; and Spider's sister Manichan goes by the nickname Minnie) as well!

2. This... could apply to a few of them, in the right circumstance. Easiest answer is Eris, I think, though it also works for Madison and Quinn on a smaller scale.

3. Spider for sure!! He's the type to always leave on time, but almost always gets distracted with trying to tape an interesting sound while he's on his way and ends up burning too much time.
