Probably because of all the (warranted) distrust and negativity surrounding his username,

But also to advertise his production company at the same time.

I know you mostly focus on the Marika/Messmer relationship in your works (which can i just say i fucking ADORE IT IT'S SO GOOD GAAAH) but i wanted to ask, what do you think of the other parent? Who do you think Messmer's (and by extension Melina's) father is and what his relationship is with him? Is it Radagon? Godfrey? A secret third option perhaps??

im glad you enjoy my work!! as for your question, i think Messmer and Melina are like... parthenogenetic offsprings?? they are born of Marika only, which is why the game groups them in as brother and sister and they are the ones inheriting everything closest and most personal to Marika.

but i don't necessarily think they know each other exist, or at least it's my personal headcanon that Melina was born after Marika shattered the Elden Ring (at which point Messmer was already stuck in LoS, so he didn't know).

i actually think Marika only split into Radagon on the eve of Liurnia war, when Messmer had already been a grown young man fighting alongside Godfrey for a while. so technically, Messmer existed before Radagon. but on paper i guess the guy could be counted as Messmer and Melina's dad? cuz he's Marika still? (ugh my head)

but imo to Messmer and Melina they don't consider him their dad (and he doesn't consider them his. i lowkey think Messmer and Radagon despise each other 😭). they only regard themselves as Marika's children. at the same time, Messmer respects and trusts Godfrey, which is the closest he'll ever regard anyone else as a father figure.

random but I've been thinking about it for a while and decided to update pronouns in my bio (they/he instead of just they/them)... main reason is i've been "accidentally" called he a few times and was like hey.. this doesnt feel too bad actually🤔 testing it out...

I finished Inscryption recently and, surprisingly, at the moment the one I have the most thoughts on is Luke of all characters and they are buzzing around my brain at max speed

#like god the game is overall pretty eerie (like a thriller movie) but can be verg funny as well #but if your someone like me tries to shove themselves into the MC's shoes and imagine what they must be going through in that moment #Luke's whole situation is literally one of my anxiety daydreams that keep me up at 3am #He got an creepy onimous game that no ones ever heard of and it definitely is deeper than it lets on #he tried to talk to the game developers and they immediately told him to send it back or they'll sue hi #leaving him to either hand the game over never find out what the fuck is wrong with it; or break the law and get to the bottom of this #A lady who worked for the company just shows up at his door; knows his addresses and full name and asks for the game #she felt vaugely threatening near the end of their talk and made me nervous #Luke gets exposed to horrors after horrors and deep dive lore after deep dive lore and since he doesn't have time to analyze a lot of it #hes just as lost as we are; im fact hes DEFINITELY more lost than we are #this game on a floppy disk can connect to the internet and browse his files #the game KNOWS his name and is aware that its a game and only Luke can help them #while dealing with this hes still trying to understand the lore of the game; and live with the constant knowledge that #by all means he SHOULDN'T have this game and that people are willing to break into his house to get it back #And as fucking nuts the ending was i like to think Luke felt some sort of kinship with other card players at the end;#shaking their hands as they were deleted from the game #imagine how shocked and horrified he was finding out whatever the old data was; considering he broke the floppy disk over it #he called someone to confess to all the insane things he witnessed and then he never got to have a happy ending cause he was shot dead #left alone to bleed out on the floor of his house (assumedly far away from people considering how close he lives to the forest)#how long was he there? did anyone ever find him? how long until his YouTube subscribers get really concerned?#they must have already caught on that something weird is happening but how long until it hits that something is downright wrong?#if his death gets wildly covered since he seemed like a decent youtuber; how many fans are gonna sit in dread knowing something happened #they just dont know what and they NEVER will know #it really sucks because he seemed like a genuinely nicd guy; sure he seemed to have a certain YouTuber personality but he was NICE #inscryption spoilers #inscryption #luke carder #inscryption luke

i wish there was a way for me to likeee. semi change this one thingin this one mod. but 1 im not a modder 2 i feel like thats disrespectful. i just want sort of an inbetween between the game and this mod but that is not a thing that exist... sigh

#NOT COMPLAINING ABT THE MOD just personal preference im not saying the mod bc i dont want it seen as an attack but basically i like mods #that add a bit more realism while also keeping some stuff yfm... like 4 example Random example unrelated i like the idea of Having to decid #what to do with the remains of a dead sim and having the body stick around but i also like having the grim reaper appear.... so in my ideal #death mod the sim dies and then the grim reaper shows up to like. take their soul but the body stays. im not a modder so idk how possible..#also ig that kind of doesnt fully make sense since the ghosts r still afoot so ig itd just be him severing the connection btwn the body and #soul right. not taking anything... which i suppose is what he does in the basegame is he severs the connection and then takes the body w/#him. which is kind of funny. whats he need that for is it just courtesy or is he doing smtg w/ them. bc ik you get the gravestone/urn when #they die and those r the remains but like. ? he just like. conjures those doesnt he. body vanishes and then those appear. does he just #rearrange the atoms of the body into those things. bc i dont subscribe to the idea that he actually digs a hole for the corpse idt theres #anything down there bc u cn put a basement right under a grave and no issues. so i think he magics the bodies away and then either somehow #transforms those bodies into the appropriate grave marker (unclear on if theres even actually ash in the urn like is that mentioned. OR he #takes them leaves the urn and gravestone and then just has the bodies to do whatever with.
