新規のお客様用のラスト(木型)を作っています。

靴を作るためのラストを仕上げていく基本的なことは何時も一緒ですが、足の特徴によって、自分の中ではいくつかの進め方を使い分けてます。

この進め方は自分で試行錯誤しながら辿り着いたもの

なので、常により良い方法を思いながら削っています。

今回はパテを使う流れがある進め方です。

当初使っていたパテは、匂いもきつく身体に合わなかったので、常に良さそうなものを試して辿り着いたのが jesmonite

2018年に研修に参加して、少ししてから本番で使い始めました。

ベース、リキッドに木屑を混ぜて使ってます。

jesmoniteはvocフリー、有機溶剤フリー、嫌な臭いも全くしません。

作業もし易いし、出会えて良かった物のひとつです。

Vera Klute at the Molesworth

I have attended the opening of 'Petals and Pulp', Vera's Klute's exhibition at the Molesworth Gallery, 16 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. 🌳 Her paintings done in oil on linen or digital watercolour show woodland scenes, foulage and individual flowers. 🌻 I was impressed with the amount of detail that Vera had included in her paintings. A particular example is one of her larger paintings called 'Clearing' which features lots of fallen branches amongst trees. 🌲 I also loved 'Lustre', a painting of foliage due to its vibrant colours. 🏵 Vera has also included a couple of Jesmonite on concrete sculptures in her show. Her exhibition will run until 23rd Dec 2024.
