A loving farewell to all of our previous contestants, who are now banished to the shadow realm and all its dark joys and whispered horrors—I hear there's a picnic on the village green today. If you want to remember the fallen heroes, you can find them all beneath the cut.

What happens next? I'll be taking a break of two weeks to rest from this and prep for the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament. I'll still be around but only minimally, posting a few last odes to the hot men before transitioning into a little early ladies content, just like I did with this last tournament. The submission form for the Hot & Vintage Ladies tournament will remain up for one more week (closing February 21st), so get your submissions in for that asap! Once the form closes, there will be one more week of break. The first round of the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament will be posted on February 29th, as Leap Year Day seems like a fitting allusion to leaping into these ladies' arms.

Twas a tweet. That's why I couldn't remember which interview it was. But yeah, I remembered the odd comparison to Rachel Summers.

In my opinion, by saying this he is automatically applying the same logic to the twins. But also this kinda reads as Adams wanting to reboot the twins or make a different kid for Barry and Iris. Idk. But the main takeaway is that Bart's not Marty McFlying out of existence anytime soon.

Excuse me friend, could you pass the link to that Adams interview that you mentioned some post ago. That he mentions about Bart can't be erased and also the Tornado Twins? Or something like that. (Sends virtual hug)

Oh boy. Man, can you send me the post where I talk about that interview? Cause there are so many 30+ min interviews. Having an approximate date would really help narrow it down lmao

Also the tornado twins comments were a separate instance. The interviewer was a huge Tornado Twin fan and Adams was laughing at him after the first issue of OMW came out. That moment is on Drew Denis' YouTube account at 18:00.

Actually now that I think about it, the Bart comment was before that comment. Definitely in an older interview because I immediately connected that back to what he said about Bart.

If I remember correctly Adams said that he views Bart as the 'Rachel Summers' of the Flash family and that Bart isn't an indication of the future (aka he exists separately from the timeline). I was the one who connected that to the Tornado Twins. I want to make it clear that Adams did not say that the Tornado Twins were also immune to time. That was my own extrapolation.

But yeah, it's difficult to narrow the Bart one down cause it was just said in passing. (I remember which one the Tornado Twin comment was in because it was a reaction to the first issue of OMW)

Updated 100 Memorable Skating Programs

Back in 2018, I created the original version of this list. (You can find the master post here.) Since 2024 marks my 30th year as an official fan of figure skating and there have been some more great programs created since the last time, I thought it was about time to update the list in honor of World Ice Skating Day. Same rules apply as last time:

Only senior competitive programs starting from the 1993-1994 season are eligible, since that's the first season I really started watching figure skating.

Each skater may only be listed once, unless a partner/discipline switch is involved.

Choice of music may also not be repeated. (Yes, there are two James Bond programs on the list, but Yuna and Wakaba use different music for the most part, so I'm letting it slide.)

I debated long and hard about whether or not I should still include programs from skaters who have proven themselves to be not so great people. I'm someone who has little difficulty separating the art from the artist, so in the end, I decided to keep them listed (although most of them got knocked down a few pegs). This list is more about the choreography than the skater anyway, although there are certainly some problematic choreographers out there, too. (Looking at you especially, Morozov!) So, just because a skater is listed doesn't mean that I'm a fan of them or that I condone their actions! I just think certain programs are still great regardless of the skaters' terrible behavior off the ice.
