What do you think about the ship tablet guardians (Ahmenrah x Larry) of NatM ?

Honestly couldn't care less, I think it's okay to ship because wea and teddy have an age gap and jed and oct to, I do have a problem with it if the person shipping it in a fic refers to ahk as "the young boy" or "the teenager" while shipping him with Larry, yes I did see that in a fic one time but if it's like saying ahk has been alive so long he's basically and adult yeah just don't call him a child in the fic or art it's really weird, but I don't ship it really only wea and teddy and jedtavius and I don't care if you do or not just don't send hate to people

35. What’s your favorite fic you’ve posted? that's such a hard question to answer--i have a lot of favourites in a lot of sub-categories (favourite character portrayal, favourite au, favourite prompt response, etc.) but i guess if i have to pick one i'll go with Qiuth, my cql/pern crossover. i'm not only still tickled by the concept and in love with that crossover world and pleased with the fic itself, but more importantly i feel like it's gotten the most unique and joyous responses and probably brought readers the most unexpected pleasure and delight of all my writing.

36. What fic are you proudest of? for an individual fic i'm...torn. i'm really ridiculously proud of how See The Day turned out. it's very simple and i know the execution of the concept isn't even perfect and it's such an indulgent rarepair but i can still see that whole little scene so crystal-clear in my mind and it still makes me ridiculously happy to reread. it's like my own personal love letter to both liu qianqiao and luo fumeng and is very dear to me. i'm also currently really proud of Sex Pest, which i wrote as a treat in a fic exchange. i don't have a lot of smut in my portfolio and i feel like this one came out really well; i'm proud of the characterisations and dialogue (the banter between wenzhou was so much fun) but especially feel like i made a lot of progress on my prose and descriptions.

38. What is your most self-indulgent posted story? very difficult to answer; you'll almost never catch me writing stories anymore that aren't also something i really want to read. i think i'll go with Wish You Were Here, because i literally just came up with the dumbest little meme scenario and then was attached enough to it to turn it into a fic before any of my actual serious ye baiyi/wenzhou concepts, and it still makes me cackle to this day. honorary mention to The More Things Change because it's the qingxian nonshippy rarepair canon compliant post-canon quasi-fix-it that nobody asked for but me.

39. What’s your most self-indulgent wip? even more difficult to answer because a lot of my wips that never see the light of day are even more self-indulgent than the ones that do. it's probably either the cql wip i have where wei ying teams up with lan sizhui and lan jingyi post-resurrection and those three are the ship in it and that ot3 is the self-indulgent part. or the shl wip i have where chengling ends up in wen kexing's charge instead of zhou zishu's in episode 1 because it involves The Boat and you know how much i love The Boat. oh, or possibly an old wip from my kingdom hearts days that was a ridiculously rarepair (olette/namine). come to think of it the kh stuff probably has a lot of self-indulgence in it in general, posted or wip.

What’s your favorite title that you’ve come up with? basically all my titles are just scraps of song lyrics or song titles so "come up with" is a bit of a stretch. but i think one of my favourites is Statues Of Ourselves which is an in progress jedtavius (night at the museum) ficlet trio for my bestie. the title is actually from a more obscure source than google would indicate, an enter the haggis song called "up in lights." and it was in my fic titles list and just tickled me as soon as i saw it while i was looking for a title that day. the way it still evokes the figurative nature of that language well, and yet it is also almost absurdly literal. it just wraps all the way around and idk it cracks me up.

43. Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet? lots and lots. right now some favourite ideas that are pending: - cql canon rewrite with main character swap - shl canon rewrite with crossover main character swap - more canon crossover rarepair shenanigans unfortunately these are lower priority right now because i'm in the middle of plotting a fic for a fandom bang and also wrapping up some old wips to post.

What fic of yours would you say is the best introduction to you as a writer? hm. if you want an introduction to the kind of rarepair or crossover bullshit i get up to then my any of my Ficlet Collections are a good place to start--a lot of tumblr/twitter prompt fills or games and indulgent little things i've spent more time on per quantity of words, making it a nice kind of tasting sampler. if you want something more cohesive that demonstrates my taste in fix-its, the fics in my Qin Jiuxiao Lives 'Verse (ongoing) are good and also contain some diversity in style.

50. How would you describe your writing style? inconsistent. constantly evolving. i'm always trying new things or experimenting with new tones or leaning into new vibes. sometimes i try for something funnier and sometimes i indulge in the drama. sometimes i spend ages crafting something concise and poetic and evocative, sometimes i just dump words all over the place like a buffet. who knows.

55. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc? a pretty common theme in my writing is "actually everyone was Fine i don't know what you're Talking About i don't even need to explain Why OR How they just Are we all Agree On This, Correct?" common settings tend to be, right now, siji shanzhuang or lotus pier, and have always been wherever feels "home"iest. i definitely have a Thing about home and i will not be taking constructive criticism at this time. i'm sure i have a lot of repetition in words/phrases/expressions but if i started analysing my writing that closely i'd get paranoid and nothing would get done.

59. Have you participated in any fic events/writing challenges? If yes, what were they and did you enjoy them? i have! last march i participated in polyship week which was really fun and resulted in one of my more unexpected popular fics Glitter & Gold. i also did pridewrite this last summer, which got me the On Wings Of Pride collection full of obscure but delightful rarepairs. i've also been introduced to the glorious world of fic exchanges (for which i wrote The Moon Is Crumbling, But That's Okay) and i had so much fun that i immediately went out and signed up for another fandom event (the lld big bang) which i'm working on now (well not right now. right now i'm on tumblr. T_T)

68. Are there any fics that influenced you to write the way you do? so many. so fucking many. kjdfsljk any fic i read and like influences me in some way, especially fics/writing from friends i aspire to be more like.

Do you have any writing advice you want to share? yes. go look at other people's writing advice and then try all of it, one after the other. advice from all kinds of writers in all kinds of fields. author interviews and tumblr posts. even the silly sounding things (especially those). don't try anything that sounds like it would kill your soul, though, probably. everyone is different and different methods or pieces of advice may work or not work for you than anyone around you. you'll only know what does or doesn't once you try things and eventually piece together whatever system works for you out of spare parts.

🎢 - Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

either... Please Say You Love Me because Angst™, Compromise Has The Word Promise In It (natm fic) because of the research I did, or that one anon 20k smut fic because LORD it took me 2 months and LOTS of visualization and google searches and i had to use a mf smut guide to change up words. i also had to look up sex positions at one point i think idk tbh i remember like 1/3 of the process

... it started as ocs, it fucking sucked, and i gradually kept writing because i found it fun. but then i found wattpad Michael Jackson fanfiction (i never simped for him idk why i read it) and then iplier/septiceye fandom wattpad fic and it went from there. so ig i just.... wanted to????

hhhhg okay there's two different jedtavius fics, one i might go short for, the other i plan to make long. the long one is a fun runaway angst/comfort fic and it WILL be happy in the end. dw. the short one is priest jedediah and ghost octavius YES i watched haunted mansion.

and then this chapter for my linken fic (they finally go on a date its like 75k words already and they haven't went on a proper date) but I've been unmotivated BUT its halfway done!! (chapter size is usually 5k words but last chapter was 19k)

At this point, it might be a better question to ask which fandoms I don't write for. Currently, there's & Juliet, Markiplier Egos, Mighty Med, Lab Rats, Sanders Sides, and the occasional Tumblr Sexymen, but historically? There has been a LOT more.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Oh my Stars, alright, here we go then, I guess.

Jealousy, Jealousy - A Night at the Museum Jedtavius fic where Jedidiah talks out his jealousy over Octavius in regards to Lancelot with Ahkmenrah before ultimately talking it out with Octavius himself.

The Lokis vs. The World of New Asgard - An abandoned fic that I don't even wanna talk about. It was supposed to be a post-Loki S1 fic where they actually, successfully took down the TVA and are now about to live the rest of whatever lives they have in main-timeline New Asgard.

Baby, It's Cold Outside - I'm actually super proud of this one and was thinking about returning to it to write a second part, recently! It's a Night at the Museum Jedtavius fic written around the Christmas song Baby, It's Cold Outside. It's not a Christmas fic and it's also not technically a song fic, but I enjoy it immensely.

When You Tell Me You Love Me, How Do I Deserve You? - A Night at the Museum Jedtavius fic. Are you starting to sense the pattern here? I actually had to double-check what this one was about, apparently it's Jedidiah having a panic attack post-NatM 2 and Octavius comforting him. I wrote this only a couple months before I actually started having panic attacks myself. Go figure!

There's Something Wrong In The Village - A Night at the Museum fic but this time it's NOT about Jedtavius! It's only about Jedidiah! I wrote this while having a really bad day in regards to both my gender and sexuality. Essentially, it's just Jedidiah having a horrible time with his.

5. Do you respond to comments?

I respond to roughly 75% of them, I'd say.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Either Locked Away, a Loki Series S1 fic in which Mobius, upon regaining his memories, kills Loki after realizing that he killed his husband during the Battle of New York, or All That Is Loved Is Lost, a Loki Series S1 fic in which Hunger B-14 helps Loki kill himself at the end. I was such an angst bitch when I was younger 💀

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I don't think many people are going to agree that this is the happiest ending, but considering this is THE most cathartic fic (or any piece of writing, really) I've ever written, I'm gonna go with Sweetness Never Lasts. It's an In Space With Markiplier fic focusing on Mack, post-loop. This one includes an actually well-written description of a panic attack, lol. Engineer!Mark helps out Mack and they decide to be co-Head Engineers, together :3

8. Do you get hate on your fics?

Not publicly!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I've written descriptive smut in the past (Onceler/Reader for a friend and humanized Pixar's Cars for another friend), but I honestly prefer to either not write it at all or write it in a non-descriptive (like recently, in an & Juliet Langelique fic). And it's all super vanilla (minus some spanking and implied noncon in the Onceler one).

10. Do you write crossovers?

Yes and no. I've written crossovers between different YouTuber's Egos (Markiplier and CrankGamePlays) but that's often grouped into the same fandom. Same with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and MCU crossover fic, because even though they are technically two different universes, they were sold as being the same up until S5 of AoS and are both Marvel creations. And then there's my Tumblr Sexymen stuff. You tell me whether that's considered a crossover or not.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but I'm open to it. I don't think any of my more recent fic simply has this demand because I constantly write for small fandoms and I don't think any of my older fics have this demand because they're either A) older or B) bad. I don't even say that they're bad to be demeaning, I wrote them between the ages of 9 and 11 and decided to post them for the hell of it. They are genuinely just bad.

13. Have you ever co-wrten a fic before?

Me and some friends have tried before ultimately both either abandoning or forgetting about it. I'd love to actually complete one with someone one day, though!

14. What's your all time favorite ship?

Dorace, which is the ship between Douglas Davenport from Lab Rats and Horace Diaz from Mighty Med. They own my soul, istg.

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

If I'm being honest here? Literally any of the uncompleted fics I have up on my Wattpad. They're the things I both wrote and posted between the ages of 9-11 and, while the story ideas have potential, they're all MCU related and I just don't have any interest in them, anymore. Specifically, the one that probably haunts me the most and I actually reposted onto my Ao3 is titled Hail Hydra and follows the CA:TWS and Ragnarok characters trying to take back S.H.I.E.L.D. after all of the Avengers ahve been compromised by Hydra. The timeline doesn't make any sense in the slightest but the idea alone is still SUPER intringuing to me. It will, unfortunately, nevre be completed.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'm pretty good at writing monologues and showing a character's internal emotional state as they go through something, I think.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing actions around dialogue can be a bitch. Oh, and fight scenes! Those never cease to kill me.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I use Google translate, unless I'm writing in French, in which I go bother one of my French-speaking friends. As for writing? I enjoy it! I'm monolingual (learning Italian! :D), so I doubt that I'm the best person to be asking about this, but I like to see people try to include it to the best of their ability rather than cut it out entirely. As long as the people writing it are open to pointers and learning from people who actually speak the language(s) they're using, I don't personally see a problem with it in the slightest. People have been using languages they don't know in their writing way longer than I've been around and they're going to continue to long after I'm gone. There are more important things to worry about, y'know?

19. First fandom you wrote for?

MCU/Marvel. Loki/OC with OC child. On paper. In third grade. Gave it to on one of my third grade teachers to proof-read. Don't have the papers anymore. Don't wanna talk about it.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Those titles probably either go to Fighting the End, The Sansmaeda Wedding, or Sweetness Never Lasts. Tumblr Sexymen are my special interest and both FtE and The Sansmaeda Wedding are my love letters to that. Even though FtE is currently unfinished, I've been working on reworking it privately for a while now and can't wait for when it's finally done. And Sweetness Never Lasts is just the most personal fic I think that I've written. It genuinely helped me figure some things out while writing it, and I don't think I've felt that good writing something ever before I wrote that or ever since.

in the sense of characters across universes/media interacting? no. in the sense of “i am going to put my blorbos in every single other setting i slightly enjoy”? absolutely. putting them under a microscope. researching and recording how they react to their surroundings

i simply do not think there is a demand for my fics in other languages. not in like a depressing way, it’s just that i’m writing for like five people including myself, so. yknow

14. what’s your all time favorite ship?

i’ve never written for them (yet, at least), but by sheer volume and span of time i have to say souyo persona4. my silly boys. i’ve never scoured the entire tag for a ship multiple times on ao3 like i have for them. i have so many thoughts about them that have never seen the light of day but they exist!!

15. what’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

stares awkwardly at feed your anger like fire… i’ve tried!! but it turns out that sometimes you get stuck on clothing designs and stop writing and then lose passion for the project and then stop updating for three years because you were too ambitious and also you hate your old writing style. not that i would know anything about that

16. what are your writing strengths?

i think i’m really good at dialogue, or at least banter. unfortunately this makes me very judgmental but that’s not important. also i can create a vibe well i’ve been told

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

in general? i SUCK at character description, or at least knowing where and when to place it. i also always worry about characterization and if my characters sound too similar

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i used to read so many fics that centered around using another language (shoutout bmc fandom when i was. in that. a dark period of my life, but alas) and honestly if it’s done well i think it’s cool!! i’m not going to get into the intricacies of bilingualism on account of being an english only speaker but it is rad to me

wrote for? probably warriors. yes the cats. i had a whole fanfic for my oc. shoutout to… honestly i don’t remember her name but she was a real one! wrote for and posted is another story, by which i mean i don’t remember At All. probably bandori tbh, bc i don’t remember if i posted fanfic on my wattpad

20. favorite fic you’ve written?

either the venn diagram of curses and crushes (which is still my favorite fic title ever) or soaking in the glory. one of them is a 3k word expedition into the play it by ear canon space and the other is a 7k word fever dream i went into a fugue state to write in two days. honorable mention to the like the sweetest cup of chai series which i hold so close to my heart. silliest besties of all time
