Documentary about the Kaldor Public Art Projects, a non-profit arts organisation established in 1969 by John Kaldor, that collaborates with international artists to create site-specific art projects in public spaces in Australia.

Very interesting doc about Kaldor and some of the projects he and his organisation supported, starting with the back then largely unknown Christo and Jeanne Claude. Among the artists are well known names like Marina Abramovic, Nam June Paik and Jeff Koons, but also lesser know local Australian ones.

Not all of them are memorable, but I like large public projects, where the public often is very sceptical beforehand, but then most of the visitors become totally fascinated when they see and experience them, creating unique memories for them. Something that for example always happens with Christo's large scale wrappings.

I actually have an MC for each house (although I have a bias towards my ravenclaw critter), so I thought it'd be fun to do a brief introduction for all of them! A more in-depth profile might be made in the future idk? Each MC also has a little chart that I put too much effort in based on the impressions they have during the middle of their fifth year.

Jeanne Hạnh Louise Madeleine Marcotte (Ravenclaw MC)

An enigmatic individual. A witch of French and Vietnamese descent born from two squibs. Her parents own a pharmacy at the fringes of London, and through training under her father, she acquired a liking towards medicine and the general sciences. She also adopted her father's habit of tasting his ingredients and medicines, which took the form of tasting the potions and magical plants she comes across in the wizarding world. From spells to potions to magical plants, nothing was off the table (unless it meant certain death).

Alice Florence Blackbird (Hufflepuff MC)

An honest and sincere person. A half-blood whose family owns a bespoke garment shop within Diagon Alley. Many upper class wizards and witches come to their store to get their robes (such as the Gaunts and the Blacks). Despite mostly being even mannered, she hates being slighted, holds grudges, and can be quite feisty at times. Likely stemming from the ostracization she faced from her paternal family when she was deemed a squib in the past, she holds a lot of value on merit and loyalty. Due to her seamstress training, her hands are precise and quick, great for charmwork and transfiguration.

Anton Oliver Friston (Gryffindor MC)

A man of few words. A muggle-born wizard, the 8th son born to a family of farmers. His dream is to do illustration as a naturalist in the field, taking an interest capturing the flora and fauna around him in graphite. He hoped to one day go on expeditions across the world to draw the animals and plants there. However due to the family's lack of wealth, his parents were apprehensive to support him. He excels in care of magical creatures, and the animals take a liking to him despite his stoic nature and fierce expressions.

Claude Vincent Leighton (Slytherin MC)

A gentle and amiable person with an unmatched ability to navigate social situations. He is of pure-blood descent, but at the age of 8 after not presenting magic usage, he was sent to a muggle relative to essentially be a houseservant. He disliked how he was scorned and powerless in the wizarding world and now even in the muggle world. He hoped to regain some of that power by climbing the ladder of authority within the house (maybe even outside of it). With his entrance into hogwarts, while he no longer had a house hierarchy to climb, his dislike of people who abuse power remained (whether his thirst for power remained is up for debate). Thus, he has a tendency to venture the highlands looking for dark wizards to take down in his free time and took a strong liking to Defense Against the Dark Arts.
