«Installés en 1994 à l’occasion de l’inauguration du musée, ces tubes de verre colorés, situés à chaque demi-étage, ont accueilli les visiteurs dans la cage d’escalier qui conduisait aux salles d'exposition dans les étages. Leur démontage a nécessité un travail d’inventaire, de repérage et de mesure afin d'établir les préconisations conservatoires et techniques des œuvres en vue de leur réinstallation lors de la réouverture du musée.»

«Si l'artiste américain Dan Flavin a utilisé le néon dans le champ de l'art dès 1963, l’artiste italien Nannucci est le premier à l'avoir fait d'une manière scripturale. Son travail avec le langage multiplie en réalité les supports et les outils d'intervention : pages écrites à la machine, cartes postales, posters, livres d'artistes, anthologies, magazines, autocollants... autant de moyens dont l'artiste se saisit pour continuer à explorer la mise à disposition publique du signe.»

«Entre 2025 et 2028, le bâtiment du musée bénéficiera d'une rénovation complète : il sera remis aux normes énergétiques, équipé du contrôle climatique et ses circulations seront restructurées. Pendant toute cette période, le MAMCO produira des projets hors-site, à l'invitation de partenaires et dans des lieux inédits.»

tech week this year has been both sad and happy, my close friend graduated last year so i don’t get to work with him, as well as my close actor friends. but im also in charge of my department and that’s pretty awesome. another really funny thing? we’ve got a kid who’s a decent bit younger than the rest of us

he gets very confused by some of the stuff we say, and because of that we’ve ended up explaining a bunch of stuff to him both about life and also maybe one or two inappropriate jokes

however this kid is a riot and i think i accidentally adopted him bc he follows me around and defaults to me for everything. he (and another friend of mine) have jokingly taken to calling my gf and i their parents, and this has somehow morphed into us being the parents of tech

my only question is why us?? we’re insane

anyway, i love theater so much :)
