i love how in the pockets of my leather jacket can be weeks worth of memories. like the acorn she gave me at the farmers market. the marble we found in a parking lot during our road trip. a penny i got as change from grocery shopping, the exact color of her eyes. the bottle caps of the soda we drank when we stargazed in the park. her chapstick. i keep them there and carry them with me wherever i go, a constant reminder of her.

Okay so something I have not seem anyone talking about that I am just now kinda realising..

Does Tate think Stanley is who Fiddleford left their family for?

Tate moved to Gravity Falls at some point in adulthood (this would be after Stanley assumes Ford's identity) to keep an eye on Fiddleford in his unwell state. So does Tate see Stanley (who advertises himself as Ford!) and the mystery shack, and have to think, "This is what it was for? This is who my dad left me for? This was more important?" every time?

And like, as much as we all love Stan we know he did not exactly treat Fiddleford kindly, he literally ran the man over with his car and treated him like a vermin to be rid of. So Tate also has to witness that with the idea that Stan is the man Fiddleford abandoned their family to persue! Tate already had a skewed perception of Fiddleford, but I think moving to Gravity Falls and seeing Stan and the way Stan treats Fiddleford, only made that worse. Because that man is his father, and he clearly has no self respect if this is what he chose to reduce himself to just for that guy, right? I think this just kinda adds another layer to how pathetic Tate thinks Fiddleford is, and I think that's really sad.
