the character graveyard — a creator's lament
a wall of snow keeps you hidden, it's true.
my hands tainted. I buried you all myself.
some of you live, just barely, breathing through a straw in your graves. an illusion of existence.
some of you never had the chance. your lives extinguished before you could fully form.
massacre.
your god has not forsaken you, I plead.
though I am god and she is merciless. by circumstance, not design.
I come to acknowledge you. you forgotten ones, the ones I hid, the ones who died by my hand and the ones who fizzled from existence before I could reach them. I gather you here today. to recognise you. mourn you. immortalise you.
I raise my chalice to each of you.
here's to the faceless ones. the ones I never named. the ones who had nothing but a name. a vibe. a role. a disembodied something. you hadn't enough love or care. I'm sorry.
here's to the fleeting ones. ones who existed in passing. to assist another's narrative. to enhance the world.

NAME: Alicia Lynn Walker (Named after her great-great grandmother, Alicia Marion Walker-- my RDR OC.) NICKNAMES / ALIAS: Janus, Blue, Jay, Bluejay. AGE: Verse dependent. Mid twenties - mid thirties. SEXUALITY: Bisexual DOB: July 30th HEIGHT: 5′9″ HAIR COLOR: Originally blonde, dyed blue with tints of purple. EYE COLOR: Icy blue SPOKEN LANGUAGES: English, some Italian because of Marietta and Spanish. OCCUPATION: Owner of night club near Vespucci Beach called ‘Paradise’ & an auto shop, bodyguard for Aurora Argent and Marietta, criminal / can fill any role for jobs / heists, executioner of the Lost & Triscilla MCs. SKILLS / TALENTS: Vast experience in using any weapons from pistols to rocket launchers, pro motorcycle & car racer, can drive and pilot any kind of vehicle from motorcycles to small jets; (being a pilot has earned her the nickname ‘Bluejay’ by her friends jokingly). Knows how to fight (mostly street style) and karate. Has a wicked talent in torturing evil scumbags and making them beg for mercy. Knows how to craft makeshift weapons. She also is very good at gambling and rarely loses. PARENTS: Roy & Annabeth (deceased; murdered by enemy MC known as the Triscillas) SIBLINGS: younger sister Ellie (alive; currently living in Liberty City [New York in RL] with their uncle) OTHER FAMILY / ALLIES: Rob Walker (Uncle & leader of a gang in Liberty City), Aurora Argent (multi-billionaire, ex army field medic & CEO of Merryweather), Marietta Lombardi (trusted friend, racing buddy & heist crew mate). PETS: used to have a black Cane Corso named Ace. LIKES: Women, sex, motorcycles, muscle cars, racing, gambling, beating the crap out of the Lost MC bikers, Jack Daniels, marijuana, classic rock & heavy metal music. DISLIKES / HATES: Racists, nazis, Lost & Triscilla MCs, cocky racers who likes to talk trash, pedos & rapists (she’ll take joy in beating the crap out of these kind of disgusting people too), cilantro.
HISTORY: Born in San Andreas up in Blaine County (or Los Angeles in RL), Alicia was raised into a family of bikers. Her father was the President of the Wild Aces motorcycle club. Her whole life basically revolved around motorcycles, the rough and gritty life… nothing about it was glamorous or luxurious. When she was seventeen, a member of the rival MC, the Triscillas somehow infiltrated their land and the club— shot her mother and then her father when he tried to throw himself over her. Shock and horror hit Alicia at first before rage was quick to consume her, prompting her to pick up her father’s revolver and shot the murderer in the head. Her first kill.
It didn’t stop there. Even as she was riddled with grief, her rage still burned strongly and so it began her path of vengeance. After securing her parents’ bodies and prepping them for a proper burial, she stocked up weapons and explosives before disappearing into the night and hunted down every single Triscilla charter scattered through-out Blaine County. She killed nearly every single one of them, burned down their homes and businesses. It was the bloodiest massacre San Andreas had seen in decades. Only several Triscillas made it out alive… and so did their leader, unfortunately. They went into hiding. Alicia then left her MC behind in the capable hands of her father’s righthand man, took her baby sister Ellie with her along with the family fortune that she inherited from her parents and fled to Liberty City to live with their Uncle, the brother of their mother.
Over the years living in Liberty City (New York), Alicia got into the life of a criminal and doing dirty work with the criminal organization her Uncle was involved with. She found that it was her calling. She couldn’t ever see herself doing legal and boring work. There was just something about playing dangerous games with death that thrilled her. It helped her get even more money, even though she was already rich from the fortune her parents left behind for her and Ellie, to raise her baby sister and make sure they had a decent life. She also got into racing in Liberty City. Till one day, she got a phone call from an old friend… requesting for her help and received word that the Lost MC were allies with the remaining Triscillas. She decided to return to Los Santos, changed her name to Janus… or rather, Jay. Dyed her hair in her favorite color and the nickname, Blue, just stuck with her. It was a way for her to avoid being recognized by her enemies.
She met Lester through the old friend, a hacker and reliable contact to get hooked up with contract jobs and heists. It was also through him that she met Aurora Argent, an ex army field medic and Marietta Lombardi, one of the best wheelwomen in Los Santos. She started to build a life for herself in Los Santos, making big bank, making new friends and powerful allies. She became a millionaire and still sends money to her younger sister in Liberty City. She became highly recommended for any heist that surfaces. In the meanwhile, she would hunt down the Lost MC members to torture for information about the Triscilla leader and the remaining survivors. She also became a bodyguard for Aurora, after they had discovered that the new CEO of Merryweather, Don Percival, murdered Aurora’s father— the original CEO and was the one responsible behind Aurora’s wrongful discharge from the army. They worked together to expose Don and take him down, before Aurora gained her rightful spot as the heiress and CEO of Merryweather… becoming a multi-billionaire.
With Aurora as one of the most powerful allies, Blue couldn’t be touched by the law… let alone be found and caught. Whatever trails she leaves behind would be erased and swept under the rug. That included the murders she would commit upon the Lost MC. After Aurora’s reign over Merryweather, Blue purchased a night club and an auto shop that are still up and running to this day.

PLAN B (2024)
Starring Jamie Lee, Jon Heder, Tom Berenger, Shannon Elizabeth, Kate Flannery, Vernon Davis, Michael Lombardi, Subhah Agarwal, Daniel K. Isaac, Suzanne Savoy, Danielle Perez, Drew Garrett, Rebecca Street, Abolaji Alexander, Chanel Ali, Anthony Moore, Diane Dehn, Mike Sarcinelli, Vinny Fazio, Michael J. Lyons, Blaise Ffrench and Gabby the Cat.
Screenplay by Brandon Tamburri & Jean S. Monpere.
Directed by Brandon Tamburri.
Distributed by Quiver Distribution. 90 minutes. Not Rated.
Not every movie can be of earth-shaking importance. Some are just sweet and likable trifles that know their place. They will never be up for Oscars or critics’ lists, and yet they are fun and funny and allow you to just forget the problems of the world for about an hour and a half.
Take Plan B, a Philadelphia-based indie romantic comedy. It’s not overly deep, it’s not overly surprising, and yet it’s mostly pretty fun. Since that is all the movie is really trying for, isn’t that enough?
Pretty much, yeah. If you go into Plan B with these kinds of tempered expectations, it’s actually a pleasant surprise. It is a sweet if slightly cheesy romance that won’t change the world but will go down easily enough if you need something to stream some dark night when you’ve got nothing else going on. Yeah, sometimes it feels like a feature-length episode of a sitcom, but sometimes that’s all you need.
Plan B is the story of Piper (Jamie Lee), an influencer (with a side gig as a barista) who focuses on her terrible dating life as a subject. In fact, a publishing house has been showing some interest in letting her author a book.
We meet her in a really bad place she is extremely drunk and getting thrown out of a bar. She returns home and runs into her neighbor Evan (Jon Heder), a guy she has barely ever noticed but who obviously seems to have a crush on her. She’s drunk and horny and seduces him and wakes up the next morning with some serious regrets.
After that, she mostly tries to avoid him, even though he is sniffing around her apartment, and he is making it clear to her roommate (Subhah Agarwal) he’s interested in Piper – something the roomie knew even before the one nighter. When Piper thinks she is rid of the nerdy guy Piper learns of another serious regret – their night together has gotten her pregnant.
However, after a trial date to tell Evan what happened, she decides she doesn’t think he’d make a good father. (Maybe she saw Napoleon Dynamite?) He has a bad indie rock band and is a bit of a mama’s boy, and worst of all he’s obviously very into her.
Therefore, Piper decides to trick another guy – a kind of obnoxious alpha male customer at the coffee shop who has been flirting with her and she has been blowing off for weeks. However, this guy is handsome and rich, he might make a good father.
And that is about it, really, as Piper gets to know the two guys better, she has to decide who would be a better parent, and a better partner.
80s- and 90s-stars Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie), Tom Berenger (Platoon) and Kate Flannery (The Office) show up for smallish supporting roles. None of them move the story forward all that much, but it’s always fun to see them pop up here and there.
Like I said, Plan B is nothing all that deep, but it is better than its sort of cliched storyline may make you believe. It will never be your favorite comedy, but if you don’t have anything you particularly want to watch, it will make for a good plan B.

MY THREE SONS at 60!
September 29, 1960
“My Three Sons” was a situation comedy produced at Desilu Studios. It premiered on ABC TV on September 29, 1960 and finished its first run on April 13, 1972, with 380 episodes making it the second-longest running live-action sitcom in TV history after “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriett” (1952-66).
Seasons 1 through 5 were aired in black and white on CBS. In 1965 it moved to CBS when ABC declined to underwrite the costs of airing in color. The series was initially filmed at Desilu Studios in Hollywood, but at the start of the 1967–68 season, the cast and crew began filming the series at the CBS Studio Center in Studio City, California due to Lucille Ball’s sale of Desilu to Gulf + Western, which owned Paramount Pictures. The sale also affected the filming location of another family sitcom, “Family Affair.”
Incredibly, “My Three Sons” ran concurrently through both “The Lucy Show” and “Here’s Lucy.” Both Steve Douglas and Lucy Carmichael (and later Carter), where single parents raising children.
September 16, 1965 was a big night for CBS airing the very first episode of “My Three Sons” after moving from ABC titled “The First Marriage”. It was also the first episode of the series broadcast in color, something “The Lucy Show” did three days earlier with “Lucy at Marineland” (TLS S4;E1). The premise of the series is a widowed father (Steven Douglas) raising his three boys with help of his extended family. Initially, the three sons were Chip, Robbie, and Mike, but in 1967 Mike was written out and replaced by Ernie, whom Steve adopted. The extended family at first consisted of Bub, Steve’s father-in-law and the boys’ maternal grandfather, but in 1964, that character was replaced by Uncle Charley, Steve’s uncle and Bub’s brother.
The leading role was played by film star Fred MacMurray, who the series was built around - including his hectic schedule. To suit MacMurray, scenes would be shot out of sequence and even alone on a soundstage and later edited to create a complete episode. This was not MacMurray’s first time at Desilu. In 1958 he played himself on the “Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” in “Lucy Hunts Uranium” set in the Nevada desert outside Las Vegas. He was joined by his second wife, actress June Haver. MacMurray (1908-91) appeared in over 100 films in his career but is perhaps best remembered for the film Double Indemnity (1944), which Lucy references in this episode. MacMurray’s name was first mentioned by Ethel in 1953 in “The Black Eye” (ILL S2;E20) when flowers arrive for Lucy mistakenly signed “Eternally yours, Fred.”
Although Lucille Ball was their landlord (and ultimate boss) she never acted on the show, but many of the actors who appeared on Lucille Ball’s sitcoms did appear on “My Three Sons”.
From 1960 to 1965, MacMurray was joined by William Frawley as Bub O’Casey, the family’s live-in maternal grandfather. Of course, Frawley came to fame on “I Love Lucy” as the crusty landlord Fred Mertz. Frawley had worked with MacMurray in the 1935 film, Car 99. When Frawley had to leave the show due to ill-health (and it was too costly to insure him) he was replaced by another Desilu alumni, William Demarest, as Uncle Charley. Like his previous co-star, Vivian Vance, Frawley was not especially fond of Demarest personally or as an actor. Demarest had, however, done three films with Lucille Ball. Frawley kept watching “My Three Sons” on his TV set bitterly. He never really got over being replaced by Demarest. On March 3, 1966, Frawley died of a heart attack.
For Christmas 1959, Frawley and Demarest both appeared with Lucy and Desi in “The Desilu Revue” (above with “December Bride’s” Spring Byington). At the time, Demarest was working on the Desilu lot appearing in NBC’s “Love and Marriage.”
On “My Three Sons” two of Steve Douglas’ boys had been seen on “The Lucy Show”: Don Grady (Robbie Douglas) had played Chris Carmichael’s friend Bill and Barry Livingston (Ernie Douglas) had played Mr. Mooney’s son Arnold. Ted Eccles, who assumed the role of Arnold Mooney when Barry Livingston was busy on “My Three Sons,” also did an episode.
The children of “The Lucy Show,” Ralph Hart (who played Viv Bagley’s son Sherman), Jimmy Garrett (Jerry Carmichael), and Candy Moore (Lucy Carmichael’s daughter Chris) were also on episodes of "My Three Sons.”

TRIVIA
In “Lucy Helps Danny Thomas” (TLS S4;E7) in 1965, there is a large framed photo of Fred MacMurray in the studio hallway. He is joined by other Desilu stars like Jim Nabors (of “Gomer Pyle USMC”), Andy Griffith (of “The Andy Griffith Show”) and Danny Thomas (of “The Danny Thomas Show”).
