We all know Jax acted like he knows someone watches them.

We can tell he does this usually via Zooble's reaction. HE DID THIS AGAIN!

He asked if someone can see this. Did he imply someone in Digital Sircus or someone from outside? Maybe he knows someone tests them. Can they be in a test version of a game? Is Jack know that and act accordingly about getting tested? He can be only people knows the truth(except Caine) Maybe he implead someone from sircus. Maybe he just doesn't want someone sees he is weak.

i love seeing jax suffer. not cuz i don’t like him even though i have conflicted emotions about him but because he’s emotionally repressed. he suppresses his emotions because he’s scared to face the realization that the amazing digital circus is quite literally the end of the road and if you don’t like that, you become abstracted and get put in a literal cellar for god knows how long. he constantly takes it out on others to appear more in control or masculine so he doesn’t have to face the fire of existential dread. he got so scared in episode 4: fast food masquerade (omg wait MASQuerade? MASK-ERADE? MASK?) because he sees himself in gangle, or he feels a similar way she does. i love seeing him upset because it gets me excited to see the inside of how his brain works and what actually makes him tick. in other words, i actually get to see some insight on his character when he’s distressed.

The fact is Gangle was the first to abstract because of Jax and after denial and further tragedies that happened Jax could not get rid of the guilt so he visits her door every day just to repay some respect to her and some memories...
