Jaune: Thanks for inviting me to out with out guys, it’s really nice to catch up with you all.

Neptune: Think nothing of it man.

Sun: Yeah, its great to hang out with you.

Coco: And, you’re finally stylish enough to hang around us as well. You used to look pretty…

Neptune: And, armour is more form fitting. It suits you better.

Jaune: Insanely smart, and knowledgeable about everything! If you guys have any secrets, secrets you haven’t told anyone about, she knows about them. Not to mentions she kind, and very curious, she loves experiencing new things. It’s so adorable seeing her reactions when she tries sometimes new. I’m so happy I married her.

Velvet: Wait, she knows our secrets?

Jaune: Every secret, anyone has every made. She knows.

Velvet: Well that’s unnerving.

Coco: How can she know out secrets if she’s never met us before?

Jaune: Well… Consider it a semblance of sorts if you will.

Coco: Sounds like a powerful semblance.

Jaune: Insanely powerful.

Neptune: Enough about her personality; What does she look like?

Coco: Yeah, what does she look like?

Jaune: Oh, she has rich ebony skin, long silky black hair, and luscious indigo eyes.

Sun: And…?

Jaune: And, what?

Neptune: Her body, what’s her body like.

Coco: Yeah. Are we working with an hourglass figure, or what?

Jaune: Oh, she was the definitive hour glass figure, it only adds to her absolute beauty that she is.

After a while, Jaune arrives at Neon's room.

Neon: *Smiles* Do you know if your sister could lend you Adrian's newborn clothes?

She says with her hands behind her back.

Jaune: Is that why you called me?

Hearing that, Jaune explodes with laughter.

The White Fang leader interrupts as she enters the room through the window.

Neon: Sienna Khan?! What are you doing here?!

Sienna: Nothing important, I just came to pick up...

Jaune: Wait a minute, this is the first time I've seen you!

Sienna: *Gasp* How can you say that? After having that magical night together.

An explosion appears on the ceiling, blowing a hole in it. From there appears Raven, the leader of the Branwen tribe. She looks angry, you can see how her maiden powers show in her eyes.

Raven: Arc!

Jaune: Oh fuck!

Jaune was about to escape but was stopped by the second in command, Vernal.

Vernal: Where do you think you're going handsome?

Jaune: Please let me go, I don't want to die!

Vernal: Die? Ahahaha! You're wrong, we come to take you to our tribe.

Jaune: Why?!

Raven: Because of this!

Raven: I told you not to come inside.

Jaune: I got my friend's mother pregnant?!

Raven: And Vernal too!

Vernal: Being honest, it was a little my fault. I shouldn't have trapped you with my legs. I don't mind doing it again if you want~

*Knock Knock*

At that moment Jaune stands up as quickly as possible and runs towards the window, ready to jump to his freedom. He could already feel it, the pure air of freedom. The sweet aroma of irresponsibility. Oh what a good life. Unfortunately he was stop by the telekinetic power of a beloved professor.

Glynda: And where do you think you're going?

Jaune: *Surprise* Professor Goodwitch! What are you doing here?!

Glynda: I came to talk to you in private, but I see that this is no longer necessary. Jaune...

Glynda: I am also pregnant.

Jaune: No!

Yang: What time is she going to arrive?

Glynda: She will arrive in three hours.

Weiss: We have time to prepare a welcome party. Who wants to help me?

Knight Light

It was not often Jaune drank, it wasn’t something he enjoyed or wanted to make a habit, but the forces of personality that were Yang and Nora tend to make one regret their decisions later. 

This is one such incident.

Jaune was a heavy-weight, there was no other option when he drank, his large build, strong body, and immense aura made it all but impossible to get drunk normally... But life finds a way.

So after many, many, many drinks, a drunken Jaune stumbles down the corridors of Atlas Academy, somehow holding a certain relic.

He rubs it, summoning the Jinn.

Jinn: Hello, any questions?

Jaune: Want some fuck?

Jinn was stunned for second, before analyzing the being before her, he was quite under the influence, but his aura burned brighter than any she had seen before.

And she hadn’t had sex before, it was one thing to know and another to do.

She shrugs, and pulls Jaune into her lamp.

Jinn: Sure.

Jaune: How in the?!

Jaune asks waking up inside a unfamiliar room, covered in blue, books, and pillow, next to the Spirit of Knowledge, a relic created by the Brothers of Light and Dark, also known as Jinn.

She was naked and watching him lovingly.

Jinn: Magic.

Two pillars of pure Light and pure Dark then descend before them.

The Brothers of Light and Dark step out of their pillars, taking mortal form, and they both had shotguns.

Brother of Light *Cocks his divine shotgun*: You gunna take ‘sponsibility, fer mah daughter?

Brother of Darkness *Cocks his infernal shotgun*: Or we gunna splat your soul across the universe?

Jaune looks at Jinn, and shrugs.

Jaune: Sure, lets get married.

Jinn pulls Jaune in close, putting his head in-between her immense, pillowy breasts, then kissing him deeply, as though drinking in his very essence.

Jinn: Good, I’ve been waiting all night for that.

Vacuan Nights, Like Vacuan Days

They’re just so great together! I’d love for Jaune and Weiss to get a little downtime in Vacuo to live out a moment like this. They really deserve it, and I’d love to see Jaune’s guitar make a reappearance.

The comic here was inspired by u/Silverstar1243’s excellent piece of art, A Serenade Under the Moonlight. Send some love to them on their twitter, commission some art if you’re willing and able, they’ve made some great stuff.

You folks may have noticed I threw in a couple of references for those in the know; the Golden Oreos behind Yang (double stuffed, I might add) for the trio’s ship, Weiss liking it rough for Mallobaude’s great fic, and of course I made a whole theme around the Arabian Nights Disney song. A song, along with its Aladdin compatriots, which I spent the better part of a day finding covers for just to listen to on repeat while I worked.

This one’s now officially my longest comic project, with 14 panels, two over the past record since I added the White Knight kiss at the end. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Not sure I’d say it was more difficult than my Vanity of Vanities post, but for this one I actually knew how to use my editing software going into it (at least somewhat).

Put a lot of work into this one, been working on it on and off since February. Took a few breaks for vacation, to make my memorial post for Rooster Teeth, and another five meme edits or so, but I came back around to it. First half was pretty easy, relatively minor edits inserting characters into scenes and so on. The second half with Jaune and Weiss was tougher though, with color correcting, merging poses, redrawing features, drawing Jaune’s entire head to fix some lighting issues, etc. Really like how the edit to make Jaune strum his guitar turned out.

The time it took to make the whole comic got me down a little, until I did a bit of math. Including my side projects since starting this, all the scripting and editing and all, I’ve been pumping out a panel every two days. That seems pretty good to me, that kind of accomplishment makes me a little proud of myself.

Really need to get around to watching the second part of the Justice League Crossover movies. It’s got a few Vacuo scenes that might make things a little more authentic instead of me just using Saphron’s house and pretending it’s a suite in Vacuo. I do love taking yet more character stills from Jaune and friends experiencing deep trauma and turning it into something positive, been making that a bit of a personal habit. And I’ve got to say, the background for Jaune and Weiss’ scene is really beautiful, pulled it from when Sun and Neptune hear Ruby’s message about Salem. That’s just a really good shot all on its own, I even saved a copy for my computer’s wallpaper after editing out the two.

Posting a big RWBY White Knight edit, watching not one but two RWBY Beyond Episodes, and all on the trail of the news that RWBY’s found partners that they’re negotiating with and that the creative team is expected to stay on. And I'm sipping bubble tea. Life is good.

Continuation of Magic Knight post: Ruby is jealous of Jinn. Jinn is more than willing to help Ruby get what she wants.

(Another really old ask down, does anyone even remembers that i did a magic knight post in the past?)

Jaune: err. . .jinn?

Jinn: *clinging on his arm* yes?

Jaune: i need to train now, can you let go of my arm?

Jinn: sure. . .*still clinging on his arm*

Jaune: . . .coul-

Jinn: after you give me a kiss.

Jaune: *blushes a bit* you can’t be serious.

Jinn: *raises eyebrow* can’t i?

Jaune: . . *sighs* fine. *leans down giving a peck on her lips*

Jinn: . . . *hold his face deepening the kiss*

Jaune: *breaks it with a light blush* o-okay, i better go now, ren is waiting for me *gets up and walks away* till later jinn.

Jinn: until.

Ruby: hmm. . .

Yang: ruby. . .are you okay?

Ruby: *gritting her teeth into a smile* of course i am, why wouldn’t i be?

Yang: . . .you’re jealous aren’t you?

Ruby: *with hair on fire* no, what could have possibly given you this idea?

Yang: you should talk to her.

Ruby: about what? That she should break up with jaune just because i like him?

Yang: maybe?

Ruby: you know that would never work.

Yang: it probably won’t if you keep with this attitude.

Jinn: she's right y'know?

Ruby: no she isn't! She's just teasing me- . . .hold on *looks at jinn*

Jinn: *standing by her side* hello.

Ruby: *blushes* w-where did you came from!?

Jinn: from the couch, it's not that far actually. And before you can ask, yes, i did listened to your conversation, and yes i know you're jealous.

Ruby: *blush deepens* i-im not jealous!!

Jinn: oh please, i might not have the lamp anymore but i don't need its infinite knowledge to see that you're jealous ruby rose.

Ruby: b-but im not jealous! And even if i was it wouldn't matter, you're already dating him!

Jinn: yes you are jealous and yes i am dating him, but that doesn't means its the end for you, we just need to share him.

Ruby/Yang: W-WHAT!?!?

Yang: you didn't just suggested that did you!?

Ruby: *dark red* w-we c-can't. It wouldn't work out i-it-

Jinn: oh please, of course it would. He likes you for a long time now, i just happened to be more forward with him and ended up snatching his heart, but i know he still has feeling for you, therefore, a sharing relationship wouldn't be impossible.

Ruby: . . .i-i don't know-

Jinn: i know, i'm the embodiment of knowledge afterall, so don't try and discuss that with me, i have thousands and thousands of experience years ahead of you.

Ruby: . . .okay, fine. I'll give it a try.

Yang: you what!?

Ruby: i mean, it could work out. . .maybe?

Jinn: oh believe me, it will. *grabs her and starts to drag her away* now come on, we need to tell him the good news, and i have a perfect idea to do so.

Ruby: *red* o-okay.

Yang: first an ancient relic now my little sister. . . *sigh* now i think i get why uncle qrow drinks so much.

Ren: *lowering his weapons* i think that's good for today.

Jaune: okay, i'll go ahead and take a bath okay?

Ren: sure, i'll gather our things and find nora.

Jaune: *gets inside the house, walking upstairs and getting inside the bathroom* goddammit *holding his shoulder* guess i pushed myself too far again now i'm all sore*

Jinn: want a massage to help?

Jaune: j-jinn!? *turns around* w-what are you- *notices jinn who was naked behind and ruby who is also naked and standing besides her* r-ruby!?!? *dark red* w-what are you doing here!?!?

Jinn: hey! Is that how you're going to treat your new girlfriend?

Jaune: my what!?!?

Jinn: she likes you, so i told her she could join the jaune girlfriends club as well.

Jaune: b-but-

Jinn: why? Because i know you still love her, so nothing more fair than allow you two to get together, but of course, you're way too good of a catch so i can't let you go that easily, so the best solution was to let her in our relationship.

Jaune: *looking at ruby* a-and you agreed on that!?

Ruby: *dark red* y-yeah.

Jaune: b-but-

Jinn: enough with the senseless rambling, we have more important things to do.

Jaune: l-like?

Jinn: *grins* oh come on. *gets closer, pressing her breasts on his chest* you're naked in the bathroom with two beautiful and naked ladies, you don't need to be a genius to think in something.

Jaune/Ruby: *solar red* WHAT!?!?

Jinn: just do it already!

Jaune: . . .

Ruby: . . .

Jaune: *gulps* so. . .do you mind if i-

Ruby: n-no. . .i don't. . .

Jaune: okay, then. . . *leans down*

Ruby: *kisses him shortly*

Jinn: again, get a better taste.

Ruby: *nods* o-okay. *leans closer*

Jaune: *kisses her, this time for a few longer seconds*

Jinn: so?

Ruby: i-its. . .amazing.

Jaune: yeah, it really is.

Jinn: *grins* then what are you waiting for? Go for it!

Jaune: *pulls ruby into a heated kiss*

Jinn: once you lose your breath is my turn, and lets keep going for the rest of the night!

Yang: *chugging a bottle of whiskey* yeah?

You didn't intend for Resurgence to get broken. You weren't even completely sure how you kept managing to break your weapons.

You'd managed to take down a Sphinx with Qrow, granting you the ability to summon it but at the cost of Resurgence taking a bullet for you from the train car turrets.

"Kid, you okay?" Qrow asked, his face dropping as he realised you were holding the broken pieces of Resurgence after the train cars had derailed.

"Resurgence took the hit from that stupid turret... I guess I can use the pieces as tonfas? Damn, even the axe blade broke off..." You grumbled, looking over what was once Resurgence before an elderly woman walked off the derailed train cars like it had a fully functioning train had pulled up to the station.

You were silent as Ozpin talked, not responding as everyone asked questions.

"Her name, is Jinn, say her name, to summon her." Oscar wheezed, feeling Ozpin trying to prevent him from talking.

"Jinn?"

Ruby's voice was so quiet, it was barely heard. The snow froze in the sky as time became paralysed. The relic glowed bright blue as it flowed through the air, releasing a blue energy before a figure was formed.

"Wonderful! Tell me, what knowledge do you seek?"

"I am Jinn, a being created by the God of Light, to aid humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. I've been graced with the ability to answer three questions every one hundred years. You're in luck, as I'm still able to answer-"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Ozpin shouted, interrupting Jinn.

"Two questions this era. Ah, it's a pleasure to see you again, old man." Jinn smiled, folding her arms.

"Ruby, please, don't."

"Hey..." You, Blake, Yang and Weiss immediately moved to defend Ruby as Qrow spoke.

"Do whatever you think is right, kiddo."

"Jinn. What is Ozpin hiding from us?"

"NO!" That was the last thing you heard as everything went white.

"The hell?" You murmured, glancing around as scenes began to appear.

"Once upon a time, there stood a lone tower..."

"How do I destroy Salem?" Ozpin asked Jinn as she looked down at a previous form of Ozpin.

"You can't."

Your knees landed in the snow, gasping for breath as you processed what you had just been told.

You tensed as you felt a hand pat your head, letting out a sigh as you stood up, giving Maria a nod.

"I think I left half my stuff with Jaune." You admitted, finding your bag in the snow.

"How can you tell?" Blake enquired, watching you pull on a light blue scarf, hiding the emblem on it from view.

"Because I remember throwing my other bag to him when he needed tissues. My ukulele is in this bag though." You explained, leaving Blake to roll her eyes as you revealed the ukulele in your bag.

"C'mon, let's get going, Y/n." Blake replied, gesturing to the trail that Maria had pointed out.

Brunswick Farms looked abandoned.

"I don't get it. The empty towns we passed through we all damaged or unfinished. This place looks fine." Ruby stated, reminding you of your travels to Mistral as Team RNJRS.

"Maybe they will left in a hurry? Before things took a turn?" Weiss asked, shivering before you all decided to walk into the house.

"There's something off about this place." You whispered to Ruby, glancing over the family portraits on the wall.

"Let's look for some-" Ruby began, but Weiss' scream had you barrelling up the stairs as Ruby and Blake followed.

Weiss and Yang were on the floor, Weiss gasping for breath as you all arrived in the room.

"They died in their sleep." You stated, approaching the bodies for a moment before backing away. "Let's head back downstairs..."

"I'll tell you what, you two keep that fire fed, and I'll find us a story to read before bed." Maria suggested, taking a seat whilst you went to sit on the floor near the fire.

"Works for me. Am I okay to practice my sembalance? I'll make sure they're small?" You asked, gaining a shrug from Oscar as Maria glanced up to spot you summoning a small Sphinx Grimm.

By the time everyone returned, the fire was still going but you had changed options. Instead of practicing your sembalance, you were holding the two pieces of Resurgence in thought.

Ruby woke up to find you sat on the stairs in thought.

"Y/n?"

"I don't like this place. At all." You mumbled before heading outside.

"Why is everything acting so... apathetic?" You quietly asked Maria, who instantly looked at you whilst giving you a shrug.

"Y/n, can you help me with the tyre?" Oscar asked, leaving you to nod as the two of you headed towards the shed.

"Figured you could hold up the trailer with your sembalance?" Oscar suggested, leaving you to nod.

"Sounds good, help with endurance I guess." You replied, watching the glyph enlarge before holding up the trailer.

Maria gasping caught your attention.

"Bad scheme?" You were cut off as Maria hurried off.

"The fuck- Oscar, you got this?" You asked, hurrying into the house to find Qrow.

You didn't expect to see a glow from the locked wine cellar door.

"They're locked!" Weiss' voice was muffled as you reached for Resurgence, wincing as you realised your weapon was broken.

You had no weapon to break the lock.

You didn't expect Yang to punch the door through as your summon broke the lock.

"What the-" Yang was cut off as your summoned Grimm disappeared and everyone else ran up from the wine cellar.

"We're back in the house?" Blake began, but before you knew it, you were running outside to find Oscar and the trailer.

"The Apathy, they're not strong or ferocious. They drain your will to go on..." You zoned out as Maria explained how the Apathy got to the estate.

"Isn't it obvious girl, I had silver eyes." Maria chuckled, leaving you to glance at her before curling in on yourself.

"I don't think I can look at a farm the same way."

"Y/n. You grew up on the farm your parents live on." Yang deadpanned, leaving you to sigh, your eyes pressed against your head as you thought about your parents.

"Aurora Farms. My father named it after my late grandmother. They set up the farm after they married. My mother's family basically kicked them out of Atlas before I was born. So yeah, I grew up on a farm, where right down the lane, you, Tai and Ruby lived." You chuckled, leaving Blake and Weiss to give you soft smiles.

"Remember when we ice-skated on that lake?" Ruby mentioned, leaving you to grimace.

"I remember falling on my face."

"Wait, why did your mother's family kick your parents from Atlas?" Weiss asked, leaving you to stare at her for a moment before sighing, running a hand over your ears.

"My mother married for love, not for money or to unite two businesses. She married a faunus... my dad, where else do you think I got my ears from?" You chuckled, ignoring how Weiss was staring at you.

"What do you mean, unite two businesses?"

"A story for another time, Maria, you wanted to tell us about silver eyes?" You brushed off Weiss' question, instead looking at Maria as she gave you a knowing look, beginning her story.

The story of the Grimm Reaper.

"I went into hiding not long after." Maria ended, her gaze on the road behind to avoid seeing your faces.

"I can't believe it. You, you're the Grimm Reaper. You were a Legend, then you disappeared." Qrow realised, leaving Oscar to frown.

"How does a legend just disappear?"

"You never used your name, never showed your face. Lots of us just thought you were just laying low, but eventually we came to accept that you were probably dead. The stories about you, I based my weapon off of yours. I wanted to be as good as the Grimm Reaper." Qrow reminisced, leaving Maria to sigh.

"Well, I'm nothing but a disappointment, so you're well on your way."

You zoned out after that, staring at photos on your scroll.

"It's comforting, seeing that your generation seems up to the task of inheriting this world. I'm just sorry I didn't do more to leave it in better shape."

You felt Blake lean on your shoulder as you tilted the scroll towards her, ignoring her sad smile as the picture of you and Pyrrha came up.

"Pyrrha knew. She walked in on me in the shower-" You cut yourself off as you heard Ruby's scroll begin to ring.

"It's Jaune! The city? Wait!" Ruby realised, checking her signal before you all looked up, spotting the city of Argus ahead.

"Ladies and gentleman, we have arrived in Argus." Yang smiled, pulling up at the top of the hill as Argus came into view more clearly.

"Thank the gods!" You replied, yawning loud enough that Weiss laughed.

"It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be." Yang admitted, glancing around Argus as you all got on the tram.

"It's actually one of the largest non-capital cities in all of Remnant." Ren explained, as the tram led you somewhere.

"So, where have you guys been staying?" Oscar enquired, leading you to raise an eyebrow as Jaune made several noises.

"There you are!"

"Is that-" Blake began, leaving Jaune to just wave at his sister.

"Hey, Saph."

"Shut up, there's food!" Ruby exclaimed, shoving a sandwich in Qrow's direction as you sat on the floor with a chuckle and a mouthful of sandwich.

You didn't expect to end up choking on that sandwich as Jaune explained the Argue military base.

"With the CCT system still down, we can't get a call through to Atlas to even tell them we're in Argus anyway." You realised, smiling as Yang passed you a drink.

"Weiss, there's something I need to tell you." Yang began, glancing at where you had headed outside into the Cotta-Arc's back garden.

"What's wrong, Yang?"

"I saw Y/n's sembalance back at that estate. She uses Glyphs, like you." Yang explained, nudging Weiss towards the backdoor as a familiar glow appeared as you summoned a small Sphinx, like before.

"She's a Schnee..." Weiss realised, heading out of the door as she watched your Sphinx disappear.

"Y/n, I need to talk to you."

"What about, Weiss?" You tilted your head to the side at Weiss' glare.

"That the fact you're a Schnee and never told me. You have the Schnee sembalance after all. Why didn't you tell me we're related?" Weiss exclaimed, leaving you to step back, glaring at the floor.

"Because I didn't know how, what did you expect me to say? When was I supposed to tell you? Hi, I'm Y/n, I'm your cousin but your dad hates my dad for being a faunus, so he erased my mother from your damn family tree, casting them out to live on Patch!" You exclaimed, your voice getting louder until Weiss put her hand over your mouth.

"You're my cousin?" She whispered, leaving you to nod before you got out your scroll, showing her a family photo of you and your parents.

"Wynona Schnee and Redd Nightshade... my parents, your aunt and uncle." You explained, noticing the look on Weiss' face as she saw your mother's photo.

"I never met aunt Willow, but my mother and yours kept in contact until after your 10th birthday, my mum would send gifts to you, Winter and Whitley at each birthday, she wouldn't tag them but Willow made sure you got them. Until one day the letters stopped coming-"

"Come on you two, we're going to check out the Argus millitary base!" Ruby interrupted, leaving you to quickly close your scroll.

"Hmm..." Maria began, leaving Oscar to frown.

"What's wrong?

"Well, I, may know this commanding officer..." Maria replied, her hand under her chin in thought.

"That's good, isn't it? If she's your friend, then maybe she'll be more willing to help us?" Ruby held her arms up in a shrug whilst you just grimaced, glancing at Weiss.

"I wouldn't exactly call us, friends..." Maria replied, putting it lightly.

"Acquaintances?" Weiss frowned, leaving Maria to grimace.

"Not quite.

"Colleagues?" Blake asked in confusion.

"Warmer."

"Enemies?" Yang asked, flexing her fingers as Maria pointed at her.

"That's the one!"

"You bring outside cashews on one flight, and suddenly you're placed on the additional screening list for life!" Maria explained, leaving you to stare at her.

"Cashews?"

"Now, now, let's not give up hope yet. Maybe she's dead?" Maria replied, leaving you to blink in shock.

"Introducing! Special Operative! Caroline Cordovin!"

"Oh no." You whispered, recalling the name as you ducked behind Qrow.

"What?" Qrow whispered, noticing you grasping out to Blake.

"She's one of the reasons my family can't return to Atlas! Discriminatory bit-" You were cut off as the woman came into view.

It was in the afternoon after you'd been booted from the military base that Jaune, Nora and Ren had gone upstairs for space.

You didn't expect Weiss to sit down next to you until she was leaning on your shoulder.

"Since when were you two so close?" Blake raised an eyebrow, leaving you to sigh.

"Since I told her my truth... we're cousins."

"Wait, what?" Blake and Yang paused, leaving you to grimace.

"Yep."

"Wait, where did Oscar go?" You asked, standing up to look around the ground floor of the house whilst Blake, Yang and Weiss got the others.

"It's Oscar. He's missing."

You stayed behind at the Cotta-Arc House to see if Oscar would return, pacing up and down the living room as your scroll ran out of charge in your pocket.

You jumped up as the door opened, revealing Oscar.

"Where'd you go?" You asked, helping him with the paper bags of food.

"Want to help me cook?"

"What are you wearing?" You replied, gaining a playful glare before the two of you walked into the kitchen.

You were in the kitchen, charging your scroll when everyone returned.

"Is something cooking?"

"Oh, I thought you guys would appreciate a hot meal after, spending all day looking for me, apparently... I left Y/n watching the casserole." Oscar explained, leaving Terra and Saphron to head into the kitchen to check on you.

"Please tell me you know how to cook casserole? Because it's one of the things we didn't really cook when we trekked across Anima." You explained, leaving the cooking in the hands of Saphron and Terra.

"It's sort of a no-going back idea?" Jaune explained as you stood behind him.

"Well, let's hear it." Ruby replied, a determined look on her face as she turned to face Jaune.

"With Cordo on watch, only Atlas airships have the clearance to leave for Solitas, so we, steal an Atlas airship."

"That's not just breaking the law, that's, definitely worse!" Weiss replied, leaving you to laugh as Adrian made some chuckles.

"I mean, what choices do we have left?" You shrugged, leaving Yang to frown.

"How would we even get onto the air field?"

"Do you think if we got arrested that it would get Ironwood's attention?" You asked, leaving Blake to give you a warning look.

"I just wondered... hypothetically." Your forefingers tapped together as you looked at the floor.

"I want to hear him out." Ruby's voice pierced the silence like Myrtenaster through the air.

You stood with a proud look on your face as Ruby stood up to Qrow.

"And if you think you can keep up with us kids, we'd be glad to have you."

Maria's chuckles caught your attention as you turned your head, ears twitching, "looks like you didn't give her enough credit either."

You grimaced as your stomach rumbling ruined the moment.

"Sorry, but, how long was left on that casserole?"

You were zoned out, staring at the ocean as you waited for the Atlas airship to come into view.

You ignored Qrow having a existential crisis as you folded your arms.

"How did you grow up so fast?" Qrow smiled, leaving Ruby to return it.

"I had good role models."

"And she drinks milk." You replied, gaining Ruby's attention as she turned around to stick her tongue out at you.

"Guys. She's not sending fighters." Weiss' voice over the comms had you turning towards the shoreline.

"What the hell is that thing?"

"Is Cordovin, piloting that?"

"Because that's not going to scare the shit out of Argus and bring in the Grimm!" You yelled, loud enough that Weiss heard over the comms.

"Hurry back, Weiss. I need you on the ground if we're going to take this thing down." Ruby instructed over the comms, tapping your shoulder as she realised you didn't technically have a weapon anymore.

"You're joking, right? You want to fight this thing?" Weiss retorted, gripping onto the arms of the co-pilot chair as Maria steered the airship.

"We've fought giant monsters before, this is just a tiny old lady... with one very big robot."

Your eyes widened as Weiss appeared, creating a barrier to shield you all from the ice blast.

"That was close!" Jaune exclaimed, removing his arms from his face.

"They can take my driver's license, but I won't let them take this ship!" Maria declared, leaving you to sweatdrop.

"Rubes, Resurgence is busted but I can use my other skills." You explained, leaving Ruby to nod as you began to run with Nora, Jaune and Ren to get Cordovin's attention.

"Damn!" You exclaimed, spotting Ruby and Weiss ice-skating on the ocean.

"GO!" Jaune shouted, beginning to run whilst you summoned a fully sized Sphinx Grimm, blasting close-range fireballs at the robot.

"What if I hadn't caught you?" Weiss exclaimed, pausing as she spotted you on the Sphinx Grimm.

"I knew you would! Or Y/n would have!" Ruby grinned, waving as you flew past, before you spotted her taking a breath of relief.

You barely spotted Ruby about to fall from the cliff, quickly grabbing her from where she was hanging off by Crescent Rose.

"Nice of you to drop in." You smiled, before it fell, letting out a breath, "I'm glad you didn't die."

"Me too." Ruby replied, giving you a nervous grin.

"No!" Your voice betrayed you as you saw Cordovin's robot throw back the missile Maria had fired.

Ruby gave you a nod as your Sphinx flew the two of you back to the cliffs with the others.

You were staring into space as the team worked out a plan.

"Y/n?" Weiss began, noticing how your ears were twitching.

"Oh no..." You mumbled, panicking.

"Y/n? What's-" Nora paused as she spotted you pointing at something on the horizon, on its way to Argus.

But all of that was forgotten once Jaune pointed out the crashing airship that Oscar and Maria were on.

"Missile launcher springs out, the raw dust gets locked in!"

"Y/n, I'll need your help with this!" Weiss exclaimed, her hand on your shoulder as you nodded, raising your arm to flick glyphs at Ruby to slow her descent.

"Ooof." You mumbled, sitting down on the ground next to Weiss as she gave up.

"You know, I could help you with your glyphs if you wanted..." Weiss suggested, leaving you to smile.

"Yeah, that would be good, also, I noticed back when we were at Beacon, you and Winter are missing a couple of glyphs that my mum taught me." You replied, leaving Weiss to smile.

"That would be nice..."

"Oh gods, we have to tell Winter..." You realised face-palming before your ears twitched again.

"Oh yeah, we have a very large problem on the horizon of Argus... literally!" You pointed to behind Cordovin's robot, the Levithan, Sphinxes, Griffins and Nevermores were on their way to Argus.

Everyone froze as realisation hit. The robot was the only thing that could save Argus... and you all just broke it.

"This is your fault! Do you hear me?" Cordovin exclaimed, leaving you to roll your eyes before you heard Yang and Blake returning.

"Was that a giant Grimm?" Yang asked, hearing the Levithan screech.

"Yes. And we just ruined the only thing capable of stopping it." Weiss deadpanned.

"Is that Grimm blasting through the hard-light dust shields?" You exclaimed, looking out of the windscreen of the Bullhead.

"It tore straight through..." Oscar realised, leaving everyone to stare in horror at what was happening.

"We can stop it before it hits the next barrier! Ren, you're up!" Ruby organised, leaving Ren to use his sembalance to mask the Bullhead.

"We're too late, pull up!"

"It's on the move again! What do we do?" Blake asked, leaving Ruby to turn to you and Weiss.

"EYES ON US, UGLY!" Nora shouted as she and Yang started firing on the Levithan.

"Is it working?" Blake asked, standing behind the two as Maria steered.

"Unfortunately, yes! Hang on!" Maria exclaimed, leaving you to focus your sembalance on keeping everyone on the Bullhead, on the Bullhead, as Weiss summoned a Queen Lancer for Ruby.

"Wait... doesn't Ruby have the lamp?" You asked, leaving Blake to freeze.

"Oh, crap."

You didn't feel time stop as Ruby called Jinn to get more time.

You were frozen instead, using your sembalance to stop your friends from falling out of the Bullhead via gravity glyphs.

It wasn't until time resumed that you all saw the bright light from the silver-eyed warriors wash over Argus.

"She did it... Oh crap! Double crap, Cordovin's back!" You exclaimed, almost slipping out of the Bullhead in the process.

"Hey, stop it!" Ruby exclaimed as everyone looked at her.

"You petrified a Levithan, after jumping down the barrel of a cannon!" Ren retorted, leaving Ruby to laugh.

"Don't act like you all haven't done crazy stuff before! I mean, Oscar made a successful crash landing! He's a fourteen year old farm hand!" Ruby exclaimed, pointing at Oscar who blushed at the attention.

"That was seriously impressive." Jaune admitted, smiling at Oscar.

"We'd have been stranded without you." Blake pointed out, leaving you to chuckle.

"Yeah, stranded to the wrath of Cordovin..." Your remark had Weiss elbowing you in the gut, much to your laughter.

"I- thanks but, I've been meaning to tell you guys. I didn't land the ship on my own."

"Ozpin took control?" Nora realised, leaving Oscar to look down at his hands.

"No, he guided me. And then he was gone again." Oscar elaborated, looking down to avoid Yang's frown.

"Does that mean he's been watching us this whole time?"

"I don't know but, it at least means he was looking out for us." Oscar replied with a shrug.

"Hey, if you've never seen Atlas in person before, you don't want to miss this!" Qrow exclaimed, leaving you to stand up, much to your reluctance as you saw the look on Weiss' face.

"Is it weird that I'm sorta nervous?" Ruby admitted, leaving you to pause.

"I feel like, at the rate the relics keep getting unearthed, we're going to end up in Vacuo after this."

"I'll believe we've made it to Atlas when I see it." Yang replied, smiling at Ruby whilst Blake just nodded to what you said.

"Well, believe it." Weiss interrupted, smiling as the clouds began to clear.

"Holy shit." You murmured, gaining looks from some of the others but you just grinned in response.

"You know, you make the trip up to Atlas over and over, but you never get used to that view." Maria replied before her mechanical eyes began to malfunction.

"Weiss, what is it?" Ruby asked, noticing how Weiss had moved forwards to get a better look, the frown on her face scaring you as you gently placed your hand on her shoulder.

Everyone tilted their heads to see what she was looking at.

"The Atlas air fleet. I knew all of our ships were called back, but..." Weiss admitted, leaving Qrow to continue to frown.

"They're set up like they're expecting an attack."

"Manta-5-1, welcome home." The comms activating made you jump enough that you made Nora laugh, leaving you to stick your tongue out at her.

"Uhh... so where do we park? Do we need to go to customs? I don't really know how this all works... I'd never left Patch until going to Beacon, so..."

This will be a long post, so I’m putting it under a ‘keep reading”

Bumbleby  - Until Vol.4 I wasn’t sure if the Bees liked each other. Like yeah, we’ve had solid evidence since, like, their Vol.1 trailers. But still. I wasn’t sure CRWBY would do it. But wow was I impressed.  - Probably my favorite well-known ship - Their EYES are the colors of each others SOULS what more do you want??? - I wish my gf would throw a motorcycle at my abusive ex...

Nuts and Dolts  - I tried pushing this ship out of my mind for so long. I did. I wasn’t ready for it  - I appreciated the things people made for the ship. I knew it had potential  - But wow. Vol.8 really said “Nuts and Dolts rights” and I respect that - They’re so cute together. It’s like if Pyrrha came back to life and could be with Jaune again.  - But healthier this way (see Arkos)

Renora  - Wholesome - Cute - ‘Boop’ is one of my favorite songs - We all saw it coming. But how we got there was the fun part  - That Vol. 4 finale though...

Arkos  - First off, Arkos is my favorite ship from Vol.1-3 - Himbo is taught how to drink his respect women juice by an Amazon? Sign me up  - The character development, the mutual respect, the CARE - ForeverFall still fucks me up. I cry when I listen to it - I love Pyrrha, she’s my girl, but... She really betrayed Jaune’s trust at the very end. He told her specifically he never wanted to be helpless and watch his friends fight for their lives again. And she did exactly that to him. Making him wonder if he could have made a difference had he been able to fight by her side with her in the end.  - But it’s not really even Pyrrha’s fault. Ozpin’s expectations and Cinder’s plan are more to blame - Still high tier - It’s just so tragic

WhiteKnight  - Cute in theory  - But it’d have to be done so carefully to be a good romantic pairing  - As friends? I LOVE IT. Make these two best friends right now! - But Jaune moved past his feelings for Weiss in Vol.2 when he finally realized she meant it when she told him she didn’t like him  - I’m shocked though that so few people pick up on Ep.3 Vol.1 when Weiss is making fun of Jaune and mockingly calls him a “cute boy”. I think Jaune just thought Weiss liked him already, and went from there. He hits on Pyrrha pretty quick in Ep.4 too - I think it could work with who they are now, but I think they’re better as friends 

WhiteRose  - The sole reason I didn’t ship Nuts and Dolts sooner  - Vol. 6 messed me up okay? That red scarf really threw me for a loop - Chasing each other in the Argus Limited?  - Weiss sassing Ruby non-stop Vol.1-3?  - It also completes the RW BY JP NR pairings. I like to joke that the Emerald forest is actually “true love” forest. And whoever you lock eyes with first you fall in love with them. But that only works sometimes  - Also that part where they call out each others names when Jinn shows them Ozpin’s past 

Ladybug  - Cute and interesting  - I’m not against it. I would just need more of it to ship it myself - They just have such solid connections with other characters  - I do love Blake’s introduction to the main cast though, and how much Blake looks up to Ruby 

Freezerburn  - Similar to LadyBug  - Cute, but I just ship them more with other people  - That hug in Vol.5 was a bit sus though - Yang does seem to open up the most with Weiss - And Weiss defended Yang so quickly after the Mercury fight  - It’s not unfounded, I’ll say that  - Analyzing it has opened my eyes 

Crosshares  - Yes  - Just  - Yes  - High femme fashion ICON Coco Adel  - With fan-fave Velvet Scarlatina - WLW powercouple  - I wish I was Coco and Velvet is cute, not much to understand here, keep scrolling 

RoseGarden  - I have my concerns  - Oscar is a wonderful kid  - He probably has a crush on Ruby  - And he is a wholesome boy who deserves all the happiness  - But he also has a manipulative immortal Wizard in his head  - So - You know

Lancaster  - I never saw Lancaster. Jaune is the first boy Ruby meets. And Jaune calls her cute and quirky once, but... - I love Ruby’s talk with Jaune about failure in Vol. 1, then his return to that speech in Vol. 4 in return.  - I think they lean on each other as leaders - But I don’t see it going further - Cute though. I’ve seen nice fanart 

BlackSun  - I read an analysis a long time ago that really sat with me  - Blake asked for space (not out loud, but in action) when she ran away - Yang gave her what she wanted. She didn’t like it. But she gave Blake what she asked for.  - Sun on the other hand, didn’t. He followed and helped her anyway. (Believe me, Blake could have used all the help she could get in Vol. 4-5) But in doing so, he kinda took himself out of the running as love interest.  - He’s and excellent Foil for Blake though, so I love him

SeaMonkies  - Two bros, chilling in a hot tub... - Is it gay to become junior detectives with your best friend and only hang out with him for like 3 seasons?  - These two are just  - So fucking stupid  - Apart, they are fine. Very competent.  - Together though - They are just so dumb I think its cute as hell 

JNR  - Wholesome  - I could see it in Argus. In front of Pyrrha’s statue - They love each other  - Maybe its not 100% romantic  - But they love each other  - I could be happy here

JNR+Neo  - CRIME + Ren  - The pure chaos of Nora and Neo  - The exhausted mom-friend energy from Ren and Jaune - The power polycule that could take on Salem alone and maybe win? - I think it’d be cute, but I personally ship them in the two pairs a bit more. 

Bees Schnees  - We add Blake and Yang’s angst, Yang and Weiss’ trust, and Weiss and Blake’s mutual understanding and growth  - Wow okay  - I have to give it to you, I kinda like it

Neo x Jaune x Ruby  - Based on my response to Lancaster, you might be able to guess my answer here - I think a lot of the ship’s points lie in “What’s better than one short girl dating the tallest guy in the cast? Two short girls dating the tallest guy in the cast!” - Cute though, I think it’d be chaotic and wholesome  - But poor Jaune would be exhausted trying to make sure the house doesn;t burn down every five minutes 

May x Winter  - Look - If I hadn’t made a Neo x Jaune side blog  - I would have made a May x Winter side blog  - The comparisons  - The family legacies  - The pure amount of how attracted I am to both characters  - What happens when two tops date each other?  - What if they were partners in Atlas?  - What if May was Winter’s first crush. And after May came out, Winter was like “Oh thank the gods, I was worried I liked all women and only one guy for some reason. Cool, crisis adverted. So anyway, Marigold, here’s how you do your makeup” - I could go on - Haha don’t tempt me - I’m serious  - Please let them sass each other at some point

Emercury  - The sass - The pure sass  - Mercury’s unearned confidence paired with Emerald’s quick temper  - Wow, I hope Em can turn him away from murdering people.  - If Em gets 1 friend, I hope its Mercury and not Cinder  - At least Mercury cares about her (But he’s too cool to admit that outright) - Mercury is going to see Em on RWBY’s team and just immediately walk over and join up. No questions asked. “I guess we’re good now. Sorry Tyrian, its been cool, not really”

First Impressions of RWBY v8e13, “Worthy”

"Worthy",  huh.    From Watts' impassioned rant.  So will this be Cinder's ultimate attack,  and fall?  

The tagline certainly suggests the plan is going to fail horribly; I just hope it doesn't  take the population with it...

Oh, we're skipping back in time a bit!  JNRE grappling with the problem of how to tell people to enter the portals.

Portal-space certainly looks cool.   It reminds me of jewelry,  the disks of the portals linked by golden strands, strewn across space.  Specifically, it reminds me  of the chain-jewelry that Ambrosius wears.  

Most of them going ahead to warn Vacuo, smart.    They're convinced the Academy there is "armed to the teeth" (how do they know, though?) ,  which helps explain why they chose it as a destination. And I'd thought about the major problem of feeding and housing X thousand refugees, but not the big honking wave of Grimm that will be coming their way with all the feelings.

Ren looks so proud of Nora there.   And yeah, she and Jaune are the right  choices to persuade crowds of people to walk into mysterious portals.

Emerald: oh my god,  it's like a mandatory corporate morale-boosting meeting with you people EVERY FIVE MINUTES.   Oscar:  Yes and you signed up for it, so look perky.

That was a very bossy little silent display for someone half Emerald's height,  Oscar.   Like a headmaster to a student.

Question that will probably never be answered;  how do they know where each of all those portals goes?  They aren't labeled or even color coded.

"Oh dear"?   I suppose Oz has been through too many catastrophes not to stay calm, but that seems excessive.  (Also Ozpin never actually volunteers any plans or ideas anymore.  He must’ve vowed to stay quiet and let Oscar handle everything, but also I suspect he’s lost all confidence in himself.  And possibly was never all that good at crisis plans in this incarnation.)

They did clearly say one-way.  I don't think this can be blamed on Ambrosius.

And here come the Grimm.     Flying monkeys, your moment has arrived at last!

Er.  ...Housing the refugees won't be nearly as big a problem if most of them are dead?  I'm still totally unclear on how many people were in Atlas and Mantle, never  mind how many have come through the portal vs. are in gatespace vs. are still back in the frozen north.   The sandstorm conveniently obscures everything, so we could be looking at  hundreds or thousands of casualties.   Not much of a survival rate unless the Vacuo cavalry is right around the corner.

Oh duh,  Watts is sending the bomb to the Vault.  Which no longer strategically matters with the staff gone, but Ironwood is there,  and who could resist the ultimate fuck-you of blowing him up with his own bomb?

Yep.  That there was some penultimate-episode doom.  It's going to take a bit for all this to sink in.

Ren: we used the power of the maidens to finish salem, so i don’t think we can use the vaults anymore, and considering they attract grimm it would be better if we threw them somewhere far away from population.

Oscar: why don’t throw it in the ocean? people won’t find it there and the grimms would stay surrounding it, but since they’re gimms they won’t use them, that way even if someone tried to get them he would have to deal with several underwater grimms.

Ruby: thats a good idea.

Yang: sounds good for me too.

Blake: then i think is decided, we’re throwing them in the ocean.

Jaune: well, before we do that, i was thinking about something.

Ruby: what is it?

*times starts to pass again and jin gets covered in a blue mist before falling on the ground*

Jin: *now with a fair skin tone, blue eyes, blue hair, slightly shorter than jaune in height and completely naked* what? i’m...human…?

Jaune: *looking away with a dark red blush* i-i think so *takes off his hoodie handing to her* t-take it for now, at least you won’t be naked.

Jin: *eyes start to tear up before she leaps at him, trapping him in a tight hug* thank you…thank you so much…
