Hey guys, so when I made this post, I was extremely frustrated and annoyed. Now that I’m way more mellowed out and had the chance to read a lot of reactions and responses, let me act my age and actually clarify some things.

First, I want to apologize to those who were deeply upset by my post. My post overall was towards those who claim they don’t write for a specific audience, and yet put specific descriptions in their work. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with adding certain details to your reader, such as gender or body type. The issue comes in when you don’t properly title and tag it as so, or completely ignore it altogether.

If you see my post as an eye opener and want to change up your work, then you have every right to do so, but please do not think that this is an attack or jive directed at you. It’s just that some of us readers want exactly as promised. Like for example, imagine if someone asked if you wanted some fresh fruit they grew themselves. You agree, and when they show up, instead of handing you fruit, they give you a carton of eggs. Now, you might not mind eating eggs, but you were promised fresh fruit, not eggs.

I know some writers have said that they want to be more inclusive in response to my criticism. If that is what you truly want, then by all means, but I cannot stress enough: write what YOU want to write. Do not feel as though you’re being pressured to change what you put out; it’s just a means of how you categorize it.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read, respond, and engage with my original post. I truly appreciate the perspectives shared, they’ve helped me see things more clearly and refine my thoughts.

I had the thought of you having the powers of Diego and Five from TUA (mainly teleportation and knife throwing skills). Also I did have another idea for this request but I figured I’d go with this one. And I'm sorry this took so long

Within the very early hours of the morning, you’re watching from above at the two brothers arguing. It was not much of a surprise, they always had an argument about something.

But what surprised you a bit was that they were talking about you. Hearing your name go between the two had you curious, so you got their attention by asking, “The fuck you two fighting about now?” 

At the sound of your voice, it made the two jump, their weapons clutched in their hands. 

Once they knew it was you, who’s now sitting on top of a garbage bin, they placed their weapons back into their holsters. 

“What are you doing here?” Dick asked.

“Making sure the two of you weren’t dead, dying in an alleyway or getting yourselves beaten,” you replied, leaning back onto your hands and swinging your legs gently. “Since I’ve answered your question, now you answer mine; the fuck were you two fighting about?”

Dick glances over to the anti-hero of a brother, silently asking him to help. “Oh, no. Don’t look at me.”

“I- we-” Looking back at you, he watches you play a knife around in your hand. “He- well, you see, uh, Jason, wanna help?”

“No. You’re doing great.”

Sighing, Dick just gives you the answer. “Jason and I were arguing about who gets to ask you out.”

“How do you know if I’m not going out with someone already?”

“We would know, Stabby.” Jason answers this time.

Teleporting in front of him, he just stares at you, used to you teleporting in front of him. “Would we now, Red? ‘Cause it seems like Birdy doesn’t know.”

“Know what?!”

All Dick gets for an answer is Jason’s hands on your hips to bring your body against his. “Hope you’re having fun, Red.”

As Jason leans in to give you a kiss, he stumbles a bit as you had teleported out of his hold to sit back on the garbage bin. “Sly fox,” he mumbles to himself.

“I’m already taken, Dick. Your asshole brother beat you to it.”

Baffled, Dick just blinks at you. “I- For how long?” 

“A few months.” Jason answers this time. “After Bruce’s gala.”

“Does anyone else know?”

“Only you.” After saying that, Dick slumps his shoulders in defeat. “Might never know though.” He looks at you, head tilting in confusion. “Might start dating you too.”

No she was one of 45 children born at the 12th hour of the 1st of October.her mother gave her away caring more about money than her own infant,leaving her in the care of a man she had hardly knew. A man named Reginald Hargreeves. Who’s mission was to collect all children who were born of this day and use them to his needs

If y/n could remember correctly than her and her siblings were ranked based on how there abilities came of use to her father.

Luther the eldest; was ranked number one due to his power being superhuman strength. After what happened at a mission that involved an armed robbery.

Diego the second eldest; also ranked number two was the vigilante named kraken he was The reckless and rebellious member of the group.

Then there was y/n the third oldest; and ranked number three she was considered the heart and soul of the group for she had telepathy and was an empath, a person who can control the mental state of another individual

Next was Allison who was the fourth eldest and ranked number four whos vigilante name was rumor. Described as narcissistic, she has the ability to instantly alter reality by telling a lie.

Number 5 the middle child was named Klaus who was also ranked 5 and was known as the séance, The Séance's powers are speaking with the dead, channeling the dead so they’re speaking through him, possessing people, broadcasting his consciousness through airwaves (allowing him to communicate through TVs), and telekinesis.

There was number 6, he’s a little piece of shit who has power to teleport and time travel

Number 7, Ben was her favorite out of them all,he was known as the horror,he Possesses monsters from other dimensions under his skin. He is the closest to her.

And lastly, Number Seven vanya. She is the most estranged member of the group. Vanya originally showcases no particular powers other than an interest in music. Which father did not approve

It was chaos in the household,just like how it’s chaos every time it’s a mission, Diego always looses his knives, Allison always forgets her mask, Luther was always flexing in the mirror,klaus was knowhere to be found. The only people would seem to be ready on time we’re y/n,Ben,and six.

“Has anyone seen my knives?!”

“WHERES MY MASK?!!”

‘’This is Amy halloway with Gotham city news where not three hours ago a group of heavily armed men broke into Gotham city bank taking an unknown number of hostages”

Inside the bank a bald headed buff man who was most likely the minds behind the robbery was walking down the hall of the bank walkie talkie in hand

‘Hey,get them behind the counter!”

“So now I gotta do something that I don’t want to do know hmm?shit!”

The man did not notice a young African American girl by the name of Allison walking behind him in her school girl uniform and mask.

He turned to walk around and go back the other direction when he suddenly saw the girl next to him.

“Hey.get back with the others” he tried to order her.

“I heard a rumor...” she started to whisper

“What the fuck did you just say to me?”

“I heard a rumor...that you shot your friend in the foot!” Allison whispered in his ear causing said man to be hypnotized.

He turned and aimed his gun into the direction of his friend

“Hey dude” the guy said noticing what he was doing.”what the hell?”

He shot his friend

“We just heard gunshots from inside the bank.its uncertain any of the hostages have Been harmed in that.”

“There is some movement on the roof possibly law enforcement,and or superheros ”

It wa actually Jason Todd,y/n’s best and only friend falling in through the glass roof going in to punch one of the robbers and then threw him out the window alongside his brothers.

“It looks like one of the armed robbers have been thrown out the window”

Diego hargreeves came up running from behind Jason knocking him down.

“Guns are for sissies. REAL MEN THROW KNIVES” Diego said aiming his knives at the men and Jason just stared in shock as the knives landed in the mans neck.the kid couldn’t be any older than him

“I’ve been in many hostage situations like this and they can escalate very quickly”

Jason ran into the other room where four other kids where with a man who was pointing a gun at them,the one who stood out the most was a female with a school girl uniform and silver hair

“Hey!stand back freaks!”the man said trembling gun in hand moving backwards

“Hey!be careful up there will ya?” The girl with silver hair exclaimed

“Yea!,we don’t want you shooting your self!”the boy next to her exclaimed

Suddenly a young boy appeared behind him. Making him turn around and try to shoot him,but the boy had teleported again but this time switching the gun out for a stapler

“Ooh that’s one badass stapler” six replied cockiness in his voice as the man tried to harm him.

“Although there’s been no activity for a few minutes,we’re gonna stay live on location to make sure we don’t miss anything”

Jason stood alongside the the rest of the hargreeves, as they tried to convince men to use his powers

“Do we really have to do this?” Ben asked with sympathy in his voice which made y/n feel sorry for him in a way.

“Come on Ben,y/n there are more guys in the vault” said Luther getting annoyed

“I didn’t sign up for this” said y/n as Ben followed her into the vault

All they saw were tenticles and faint voices of screams and the shout of the word pain,then y/n and Ben came out shivering with blood on their faces

“Now we see the hostages outside,they are free but they are scared and clearly unharmed”

“Can we go home now?”

Suddendly y/n noticed Jason next to Diego talking.

”oh Jason, Tim,dick,didn’t notice you there..” she started

“Clearly” he said cutting her off making 5 mad.

“Oi don’t cut her off you shit”

“Klaus,cut it out”

“So you're the one with the ability to see ghosts?”jason said noticing who his friend was talking too.

“The reason I have night mares you mean?” Said Klaus pointing out the fact he barley sleeps

“Yeah sure, whatever, so I've got a question” Jason asked ignoring klaus’s statement”Do you see me like a ghost or a living person? or both?”

Silence

No one knew the answer to that,even the ghosts around Klaus were questioning it.

“You know, Todd, that is actually intriguing” said damian Wayne Jason’s brother whom y/n never met until now

From then on Klaus would have a mental breakdown every other night because Jason just gave him a major existential crisis and is now questioning whether or not the people around him are not all dead already and just pretending to be alive for the sake of his now very fragile sanity. Or if there on the verge of dying and is already communicating through him

Can you fight?

I have binge watched the entire second season of Umbrella Academy now....I have to say I am in love with Allison. And her power. So I have decided to do a fic for you all, just a one shot.

Jason Todd/Red Hood, Dick Grayson/Nightwing and Bruce Wayne/Batman x reader

Reader is best friends with Dick, dating Jason and an alliance of Bruce. This is in a fight between Gotham villains. Reader has the 'rumor' power from TUA.

It was a typical Gotham night, wet and cold. With a hint of humidity. The batfam hadn't seen your power, as you preferred to use it only when you absolutely had to. And tonight, you would have to.

Penguin and Riddler had Nightwing, Joker and Harley had Red Hood. Two Face, Scarecrow and Mr Freeze had cornered Batman. Which left you with Poison Ivy.

Ivy wasn't much of a fighter, but you weren't much of a push over. Ivy tried to seduce you with her chemicals. As she altered it so it would now work on women too. You were under her spell.

'I hear you can control man to do anything with a simple phrase' Ivy rolled out, she always sounded so sexy. One thing you liked about her.

'I can' you answered, 'but I prefer not too' you finished.

'The boys are in trouble y/n, and I have you here. Under my spell. You can get them back, if you want to' Ivy said.

'How?' You asked intrigued, Ivy laughed a little.

'Use your power'

The three men were doing the best they could, but they weren't getting very far. Batman managed to knock out Two Face, but Scarecrow got him with fear toxin. A split second Batman wasn't looking, it was done.

You walked in, Scarecrow looked at you and laughed.

'You're too late, he's mine now' Scarecrow said as Mr Freeze started walking towards you. You looked at Mr Freeze.

'I heard a rumour' you said, Freeze stopped and looked at you.

'What was that?' He asked, you leaned as to whisper to him.

'I heard a rumour, you froze scarcrow upto his shoulders', just like that Mr Freezes eyes turned white and he turned to shoot his freeze gun at Scarecrow, freezing him upto his shoulders as you said.

'Freeze' Scarecrow shouted, stiffened in the ice.

'Now release Batman' you said to Freeze as he untied him. He wouldn't be under your control for long so you had to work quickly. Batman was untied and at your feet crouched and scared from the toxin. You then put one of his arms over your shoulder and walked him outside, laying him down on the backseat of the car.

'Just wait here B, gonna go get the others' you said as you shut the back door and rushed to get Jason and Dick.

Dick was closest, he was being held by Penguin and Riddler. Both of them would be easy to control. But only one could be controlled, unless you tried to control both of them. But Penguin is quick for a little guy, he also has a gun. Riddler is also very smart, he would clock on easy. However, neither of them have seen your power...nor do they probably even know about it.

'You guys are wasting your time, I can go all night' Dick said as Riddler zapped him with a taser.

'You shit' Penguin spat out at Dick, 'I have no idea why, but I just hate you the most. Pretty boy' Penguin continued.

'Riddle me this Nightwing, what's black and blue. And also has...' Riddler was interrupted by the warehouse door slamming open.

'Back up' you said to both the villains. They looked at you and laughed.

'A woman, trying to be the hero' Penguin chuckled,

'You're no Catwoman or Black Canary miss' Riddler said.

'True' you replied bluntly, smiling as you walked over to Penguin, 'I heard a rumour that you shot your friend in the foot'.

Penguin's eyes turned white as he stood straight and turned around to face Riddler,

'Oswald, what are you doing?' Riddler shouted out as Penguin shot him in the foot. You untied Dick and the two of you ran outside.

'Bloody hell' Penguin shouted as he fired shots at you and Dick.

'Why did you do that?' Riddler asked Penguin, Penguin just looked at him.

'She told me to'.

'Are you OK?' You asked Dick as you got to an alley.

'Yeah, are you?' Dick asked as he hugged you, you nodded.

'Bruce is in the car round the corner, here are the keys. Get him to Alfred, get the cure for Scarecrows toxins. I need to get Jason', Dick puts his hand on your shoulder.

'You can't do this alone' he says with concern,

'I can handle it. I'm not losing Jason again' you say as you run to where Jason is.

...

'Once upon a time, there was a little Robin. This Robin was unlike any other you've seen, he was pretty, careless and easy to take down. This Robin then came back from the dead' Joker chuckled as he hit Jason with a crowbar.

Harley Quinn sat in the corner laughing as she turned around to see you walking into the room. Anger in your eyes, rage on your face.

'Hi deary, miss me?' Harley called out as she picked up her bat.

'Not tonight Harley' you replied through gritted teeth.

'Have you no heart?' She replied as she ran towards you, putting you in a headlock.

'Robin has a little Sparrow' Joker said,

'Don't touch her' Jason shouted out to Joker, Joker just laughed. That maniac laugh that haunts Jason's nightmares.

'I'll leave that to Harley, do tell me girl. Can you fight?' Joker added. You huffed a little as Harley's grip got tighter.

Jason wiggled out of his binds and wrestled Joker to the floor, as you grabbed on Harley's arm and threw her over your shoulder. You jumped up and grabbed the beam above you, wrapping your legs around Harley's neck, choking her.

Joker laughed as Jason punched him repeatedly, however, Joker managed to over power Jason and start to choke him. Standing up behind Jason while Jason was on his knees.

You kicked Harley in the face and let go, dropping down and handing Harley an axe.

'I heard a rumour you killed the Joker' you said with darkness in your voice. Harley's eyes went white as she smiled and walked over to Joker. Hitting him in the back with the axe. His grip on Jason loosened and Jason crawled away. Standing up to watch.

'Harley, stop' Joker cried out as he bled, Harley stopped for a second.

'Sorry Mr J' she said with sadness in her tone, she swung the axe several times and killed the Joker.

'No' she cried after she finished, Jason then hit Harley over the head and knocked her out.

'I can't believe you did it, y/n' Jason looked at you, 'you used your power'.

'I had to on Freeze and Penguin too. Otherwise Bruce and Dick would be dead right now' you responded. Jason hugged you tight, giving you a deep kiss.

'They know about your power now. They'll be looking for you' Jason said.

'Let them' you replied, you took Jason's hand as the two of you walked out onto the street together.

It was true, they all knew about you now as you showed them your power. But one person was watching the whole thing. Watching you. Coming for you.
