probably the only thing worse than finding out your adult coworker is actually 12 would be finding that out and then turning around to discover that your younger but still adult coworker is actually two high schoolers in a trenchcoat

Firestorm Heroes - Firestorm
I grew up with the Jason Rusch/Ronnie Raymond Firestorm, so they are my Firestorm. Although I do love Martin Stein/Ronnie just as much.
I felt the need to draw him since he was featured in my Firestorm vs Killer Frost illustration, and I want every character I draw to get their own solo shot. He's not a character I'd normally just pick, but I'm glad I had an excuse to draw him.
I love puffy sleeve Firestorm! These days, redesigns are too streamlined and take away the fun, weird, superheroey design choices (Looking at you Martian Manhunter boot flaps).

Image description: Fanart designs of the DC superhero Firestorm, showing two varients, one with Jason and another with Ronnie. End description.
A couple of Firestorm designs for my friend PastelPlastic's AU: in the AU both Jason and Ronnie can be Firestorm separately like in New 52 (but it's better), but after a thing happens and they separate they both experiment with their superhero looks. Jason's design (and was meant to be purely yellow but the red looked too good in the end) and Ronnie's was vaguely based off American football costumes and video game armour.

It says a lot about this run that this is the first time I've seen any of our heroes take any action out of love and kindness And it's half sarcastic.

In the Captain Marvel post, you mentioned Firestorms plural while talking about Binary; who all is Firestorm in the BronzeRealms? The comics have Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rusch, both of whom fused with Martin Stein to my knowledge, and the Arrowverse introduced Jefferson Jackson, who *also* fused with Martin Stein. Has Martin Stein just moved from host to host as time has gone on? Who fuses with Carol Danvers to create Binary?
That earlier post can be found here.
The Firestorm Matrix is a physics formula that was developed by Martin Stein to explain the phenomenon after he and Ronnie Raymond were accidentally fused together into the first Firestorm.
Once separated, they realized that both of them had been permanently altered from the original event and would become destabilized and explode if they spent too long isolated without being able to form Firestorm. After confirming that fusing with other people wouldn't similarly destabilize them, Stein partnered with Jefferson Jackson and joined the Legends of Tomorrow, and Ronnie partnered with Jason Rusch as the new main Firestorm.
At some point, Lorraine Reilly is put through similar experiments transforming her into Firehawk so that she can fight against Firestorm. Some time later, she reforms from villainy and falls in love with Ronnie Raymond. At first, her powers seem self-sufficient, but slowly she begins to destabilize like the others, just on a much longer and more forgiving timescale. She and Ronnie fuse a few times just to reset her clock, when she can't find someone else.
When there's a falling out between Ronnie and Rusch, Ronnie re-partners with Lorraine full time as Firehawk, and Rusch deliberately subjects himself to the Firestorm Matrix so that he can continue on his own as another Firestorm, despite not having a consistent partner at the ready.
This leads to years of Rusch rapidly cycling between hundreds of different partners as needed, some of them strangers who almost seize control over Firestorm from the inside for their own ends, and some of them strangers who Rusch stays fused with for too long and partially burns out, leading to scars, exhaustion, radiation burns, and general frailty that can last weeks after he leaves them. But eventually he settles down enough to make some friends who become recurring partners for him, and they help him mellow down a little, while he also cares too much about them to overdo it and risk hurting them.
So, to summarize the current status quo, there are four "destabilized" people who can (and periodically must) initiate a Firestorm Matrix, Ronnie Raymond, Martin Stein, Lorraine Reilly, and Jason Rusch. There are three currently active heroes who use the Firestorm Matrix, Firestorm (Rusch, partnered with various trusted friends), Firestorm (Stein, partnered with Jax as part of the Legends of Tomorrow), and Firehawk (Lorraine, partnered with Ronnie).
Binary has been most often formed between Carol Danvers and Ronnie Raymond, since Lorraine's powers can uniquely continue functioning for a short time without hurting her after separating, which means Firehawk can arrive at the scene, and both Firehawk and Binary continue to fight together for an hour or two before Lorraine needs to either stop using her powers or take Ronnie back. But Carol has also formed Binary on individual occasions with Lorraine and Rusch.

Okay Question, Why do we think Ronnie remembers the events of Darkest Night?
Was it because Flash took the Ring off him?
Tumblr media
OR
Was it when Jason Fussed with Deathstorm?
Tumblr media
My thought process is: No one else remember except Ronnie, What makes him different? I think mentally they were all present, but those memories were lost when they were revived, but because of outside interference Ronnie was able to remember.
Tbh I'm thinking because Jason joined the party in the brain, Like, Deathstorm and Jason were fighting for the drivers seat/shotgun while Ronnie could see all that was going on in the back seat (Or Trunk) unable to do anything.

a living engine of creation, poisoned with Anti-Life : Omega Become Alpha, Death itself alive again in the Fury of the Firestorm
note: this is quasi-canon, but only in the Art Baltazar (Tiny Titans) version of Super Powers, low key one of the all-time best event series, imho

Have you ever looked at a Firestorm and wondered "hey, who even is that?" Then I have the guide for you! Aside from Lorraine being at the end, this follows publication order.
[Note: these are not complete reading lists, only highlight reels with a couple of personal favorites snuck in. There are also a few times when this guide may not be useful for identifying your Firestorm--for example, in the Doomsday Clock continuity, Mikhail operating alone as Pozhar is drawn as if he is instead the elemental Firestorm. This is because Doomsday Clock does not understand Firestorm.]
